    World class!

    Shannon is fantastic, I really miss her now that the wedding is over. She went above and beyond her day off duties to help us move our wedding from Galena to Dubuque because of COVID. Everything was fabulous the day of and I didn’t worry about a thing because Shannon was so on top of everything. She even went out of her way during a massive snow storm to pick up items from me a few nights prior and take them to Dubuque.

    Made My Day A Breeze

    I'm so happy I decided to hire Red Heels! They helped me with the day-of coordination. We had an initial phone conversation, and then we met in person at the venue for a walk-through a month before our wedding. I loved how thorough and organized Shannon was. I have absolutely no idea if anything went wrong that day, but if anything did, it was smoothed out flawlessly. Shannon and her assistant helped make my day absolutely perfect. They really did go above and beyond my expectations. I highly recommend!!! They are pros!

    100% recommend hiring Shannon at Red Heels to help plan your wedding! She made sure everything went so smoothly every step of the way and she is very enjoyable to work with! We were able to have our wedding exactly as we wanted it without the stress. She always made sure we were on track from day 1 and gave us a very detailed checklist so that we were able to look ahead. She made our timeline for the day of our wedding which was extremely helpful and made sure that everyone knew where to be and when. She handled the communication with the vendors which made the week of the wedding very stress free. She was always happy to answer any questions we had. We are very happy with how everything went and can’t thank Shannon enough for all of her hard work! Thank you Shannon for helping bring our dream wedding to life!

    They Basically Saved Our Day!

    We hired Shannon for day-of coordination, and she went over and above to help us. She was extremely thorough leading up to the day, and on our wedding day, it seemed that everything that could have possibly went wrong, went wrong. But, she and her assistant made everything smoothly. One example was that our food was 45 minutes late (thanks to the caterer), and Shannon helped us rearrange the whole order of events for the wedding on the fly, and did it so seamlessly that my dad didn't even realize the food was late until the next day. He thought everything went to plan. Overall, we really can't say enough good things about Shannan and Red Heels, they were worth their weight in gold. Thank you!!!

    Dream Wedding Thank You Shannon!

    Hiring Shannon as our full-service coordinator was one of our best decisions. A few friends had used her previously so we already knew she would be great to work with. She was so helpful throughout our entire planning process. We live in Chicago so it was a little daunting to plan a wedding in Galena, but she made it easy. Months before she would ensure we were staying on track and send frequent reminders- something I definitely appreciated. She always was accommodating with all of my crazy questions and requests. When we couldn’t find exactly the backdrop we wanted for our ceremony, she went above and beyond and found a way to create the exact look we wanted- I mean how amazing is that! The week leading up to the wedding she was an absolute lifesaver offering to pick-up supplies and other last minute things. The day of went so smoothly with Shannon and her team and we are so grateful for them for helping make our wedding SO PERFECT!!

    You NEED Shannon in your life!

    I cannot say enough good things about having Shannon as our day of coordinator! We were looking for someone to help us through the day with no more than minor bumps or obstacles, and Shannon exceeded those expectations by far!!!! She was on top of every single detail, from where everything needed to go, to where everyone needed to be and when. She was there from the moment we started getting ready to when our reception was well under way. I can say with complete satisfaction that Shannon was the best decision we made for helping our wedding day go as smoothly as it possibly could! She put my mind at ease and helped us to just enjoy our big day, and it was so much fun being able to work with her! She also gave great advice where it was needed. Hiring Shannon and her team was a great experience all around, and I one hundred percent recommend her to ANYONE needing help with planning their wedding!

    When I decided on having my wedding in Galena while living in Chicago I knew I was going to need some help. After speaking with a few wedding planners I decided I wanted to work with Shannon and I am SO glad we did! When we met with Shannon for the first time she greeted us with a big smile and hugs, it was like we had known Shannon forever! Shannon helped keep us on track by frequently checking in and sending reminders. Shannon also put us in contact with vendors that she had worked with before and made trips to those vendors when we were unable to. She helped with decor ideas when my creative juices ran out. Shannon solved one of our biggest dilemmas- the men's tuxes, not only did she make arrangements to get suits to all our out of town bridal party, she was able to solve our dilemma of how to fuse grey suits with gold accents to match my bridesmaids dresses, she is seriously a miracle worker! I was so stressed packing up everything I needed to bring to the wedding - favors, decor, etc. The moment I handed them off to Shannon a weight lifted off my shoulder and I was able to enjoy the days leading up to our wedding. Shannon provided advice on questions I didn't even know I had and was able to come up with solutions for my less than conventional family to make sure everyone was included. The day of our wedding Shannon was in communication with our photographers and other vendors so I didn't have to worry about a thing, she organized the bridal party and our guests at the start of the ceremony and was there to provide emotional support as I had a mini panic attack before walking down the aisle! At the end of the night, I again had nothing to worry about as Shannon packed up all our decor and worked with the vendors to collect their equipment. Sunday morning when we met with Shannon to pick up our boxes of stuff, I was sad that we would no longer be working closely with Shannon, but knew that the next time we were in town we'd meet with her but this time as friends!

    Shannon from Red Heels was an absolute DREAM to work with. She was so attentive to everything- I would HIGHLY recommend her! I had a relatively short engagement (about 9 months) and I don't know how I would have done it without her. She began by suggesting, helping book, and negotiating with vendors. Her recommendations were all very reliable and amazing to work with! Having her by my side while meeting with vendors was beyond helpful. She always asked all of the right questions and had my best interest at heart. Being a procrastinator, Shannon did an AMAZING job of keeping me on task of what I needed to do week-to-week. She constantly was checking in with me week to week, offering suggestions and offering her assistance. The days leading up to the BIG DAY, we were in CONSTANT communication! She helped me with the majority of the "list minute tasks" that I honestly wouldn't have even thought of if she wasn't there to keep me on track. Finally, the day of. ABSOLUTE GOD SENT. Not only did she help keep the day flowing (giving all the wedding party where they need to be and when), she helped to make it absolutely flawless. There was an issue with one of our vendors, and I didn't even know about it. Shannon completely took care of it without a blink of an eye.

    Overall, Shannon became my saving grace throughout my ENTIRE wedding planning process. I literally cannot say enough amazing things about her and all she did to help me prepare for my wedding. She truly goes above and beyond. I could honestly tell that she TRULY loves her job and would do anything to put my mind at ease. She 100% advocates for her brides in everything she does. Once again, I cannot say enough amazing things about her and her company!!!!

    Micro weddimg planned in 4 weeks!

    Where do I even begin, Shannon is a amazing! She knows her stuff, especially for those of us who have no idea where to start the wedding planning process. She's assertive and friendly with your venues and whomever your working with to get the job done! No aspect overlooked! I see myself as super creative and I know what I like. This Queen rocked it, I had a vision and she one uped* it! From my floral arrangements, to my decor malfunction( that she fixed minutes before the procession). To the much needed direction for guests and wedding party. Occupying my little ones. The transfer from venue to venue. The list goes on. Did I mention she helped me achieve
    my perfect vision in only 4 WEEKS! 5 stars all the way! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

    When my then-fiancé and I initially called Shannon (Red Heels) one year ago, I think we presented a challenge for her. We live in the United Kingdom, and we were planning a wedding in Dubuque, Iowa from our home across the pond. Furthermore, with the exception of my brother, we didn't really have any family in the Dubuque area to help with planning. We were looking to have our wedding in Des Moines, nearer to my family, but we actually chose Dubuque, in part, because of Shannon.

    Even though we live in the United Kingdom, she was extremely flexible and worked around our schedule. This meant FaceTime phone calls in the middle of the day (nighttime for us), loads of emails, and iMessages. She travelled 1.5 hours in the middle of winter to have a meeting with us at Christmas, while we were visiting my family. She also ensured that she spent time with us when we visited Dubuque *the ONE time* before our wedding!

    Shannon found phenomenal vendors. We can't say enough good things about the people she recommended! We had the most beautiful flowers, the best band, and an excellent officiant - all from her recommendations. We were receiving compliments all throughout our wedding day. Our wedding just wouldn't have been as nice without the vendors she found, and I don't think we would have found them without her.

    Shannon kept us on track throughout the planning process. She was always positive, even though I know we must have been frustrating at times, and on the day of our wedding, she really impressed us. Everything about our wedding ran smoothly (to perfection!), and I have to give Shannon the credit for that. She ensured that everything got done, that everyone was where they should be at the right times, and she was prepared for any emergency that might happen.

    I think we would have really struggled to plan our wedding without Shannon, and we are extremely grateful to her for helping us create the best day of our lives!

    When we hired Shannon, we already had the majority of our vendors booked. We wanted to get the full package of Shannon's service. Since let of her full package is booking vendors, we negotiated to have her help out with our rehearsal dinner. I expected her to just make sure everything would run smoothly and we would do everything else on our own. No, Shannon contacted our venue, caterer, and Inside Decor and even helped us set up for the dinner. That is just one example of Shannon going above and beyond for our wedding. She knew exactly what I wanted and made it happen and had our wedding be the best day of our lives. My suggestion to all engaged couple, have your big ticket item be hiring Shannon. She reduces the stress level so much and she was my wedding guardian angel! Thank you so much, Shannon, YOU ROCK!

    Shannon was so much fun to work with! I was so happy we decided to get a day of coordinator. Shannon kept us all organized and on time. My uncle also fell during the reception and she called an ambulance and made sure he was taken care of - all without my husband and I even knowing! She is responsive, organized and super friendly and fun to work with! I would recommend her as a wedding coordinator.

    Hiring Red Heels for our wedding day was probably the best money we spent! I wasn't sure at first if I needed a wedding planner but it is the best decision I made. Shannon was absolutely amazing to work with. Although we did just for a day of coordination package from the moment we hired her she started helping with the planning process and was so responsive to any questions or help I needed. She went above and beyond what we asked of her. The wedding day was so smooth and no one was stressed out because Shannon and her crew took care of all of it. Shannon is an absolute MUST for your wedding day.

    We were looking for a day of coordinator and Shannon provided us with great service. She worked with our budget to put together a package that covered everything we needed while keeping within our means. She set up all of our decorations and they looked so amazing. She worked a ton behind the scenes and made our day run smoothly.
