A lot of crazy went down on my wedding day, and the staff at Red Hawk (especially Donny) made it still go smoothly. When our officiant did not show, an emergency stand-in was quickly acquired. When it started to snow/hail, they moved our reception inside at a moments notice. Everyone was so attentive, professional and absolutely wonderful and I could not be happier with them. Not to mention, the food was fabulous and the venue itself is gorgeous. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful place for their wedding. -

Susanna Sent on 06/27/2025We had the best Wedding ceremony and reception here at Redhawk Golf Course and Resort. Our wedding officiant (Stephanie), she has been the best throughout our entire year and a couple of months. Also our wedding coordinator (Donny), he has been helpful and accommodated our needs and informs us what we can or can not do. Overall our Wedding day was the best and out immediate family and close friends complimented our wedding was the most memorable and the best wedding celebration ever. Stephanie and Donny, we both greatly appreciate all you have done and made our wedding most memorable and fun. You guys are awesome and we will recommend others for celebration, events and Weddings. However, the stay at the Villa was a little scary and creepy gross. I spotted more than a few spiders and it was creeping me out. I barely slept because I was worried and scared it would bite me, I am allergic /have sensitive reaction if I gotten bite before my wedding day. That would have been horrible. -

Sunporch room
The Sunporch room at Red Hawk was a beautiful and cozy space. We really enjoyed our experience here for our son’s baptism. It can comfortably accommodate a small group of people, up to 60. Valeska helped us significantly with the event planning. She was very resourceful throughout the process. The service staff, Michelle, Leo and many other employees were helpful before and during the event! The food was amazing!! We ordered the cherry smoked tri tip, seasonal veggies, fingerling potatoes accompanied by a salad and bread! We truly could not have asked for better food. We also appreciated the items available for use from the decor room. We would highly recommend Red Hawk, and would love to book another event here! Thank you to everyone!! -

Rachel’s Kentucky Derby Bridal Shower
It was an Amazing day for my daughter’s Kentucky Derby Bridal Shower. Everything was perfect. The food was excellent and everyone raved that it was the best party that they had ever been to. Just booked our 30th anniversary dinner for 2026. Very impressed. -

Daughter’s twins celebration
Highly recommend red hawk! Catering service knowledgeable and helpful The sunroom was beautiful and the staff that day kept everything full and clean. I checked out other venues but red hawk by far was the best choice. The nominal room rental fee includes tables, chairs, linens, silver, wait staff, coffee, tea, and more. Food provided on site. Other venues were pricey for bringing in a catering company. The golf course itself is beautiful so adds to the event. Daughter and husband, and guests loved our event at red hawk. -

My husband and I had a great experience from start to finish. Stephanie did an amazing job helping us with the beginning stages of wedding planning. Donny and Jordan really pulled together and helped our vision come to life. Since we live out of state, we faced some challenges, but Donny was always available to answer questions and provide suggestions. Jordan was very quick to provide day-of wedding solutions. Overall, the wedding was beautiful, and in our eyes, it went perfectly. They are a great team and work wonderfully together.
The food was top-notch, especially the mashed potatoes. We're still receiving compliments from guests.
We also stayed on site. Virginia and Mary provided great customer service when it came to villa reservations. These two ladies made our entire family feel welcome, and they all enjoyed their stay.
Lastly, Todd organized tee times for my husband and family. We are so grateful for this golfing opportunity. Everyone came back happy and loved how well the course was kept. They golfed on The Lakes Course.
We highly suggest The Red Hawk Golf and Resort. -

The team at Red Hawk was absolutely amazing at making sure my wedding was unforgettable. The venue itself is absolutely lovely, I am still getting compliments from friends and family on how beautiful it was. The team of Stephanie, Jordan and Donny are fantastic and they did everything they could for us to have a beautiful ceremony and reception. Even though the day we chose had beautiful weather, my mind was put at ease early in the process knowing that if the ceremony couldn't be done on the grass due to weather, there are other options on site just in case.
They provide the food for the wedding and I also cannot stop getting compliments on how good it was.
I also highly recommend staying in the villas on site.
All around, I highly recommend checking them out and going on a tour if you are looking to book a place in the Sparks/Reno area. We could not have been happier with our decision.

I was hearing horror stories from other brides about venues not keeping their word and overcharging, so I expressed to them my worries about staying within our budget. Our price never changed, even with inflation. I was grateful for them for going above and beyond. My wedding was a literal dream. -

This is where you want to get married!
If there were more than 5 stars I would give Red Hawk as many as possible! Everything from the beginning was easy at Red Hawk. Stephanie was great to work with, her and the staff at Red Hawk catered to all of our needs up until the wedding day. We chose Red Hawk because of the beautiful ceremony space and reception area, and because we had the flexibility to do whatever we wanted. One huge plus that we loved here was the flexibility with the bar. We were able to host an open bar based on consumption, so we only paid for what our guests ordered. The food was delicious and the chef and his team did a fantastic job. A huge plus was staying at the on-site villas for getting ready the day of the wedding and for staying there the night of the wedding. We truly can't thank everybody enough for helping us with our DREAM wedding. Thank you Stephanie and all of Red Hawk! -

Thank you SO MUCH for everything you did to give us the wedding of our dreams. I can honestly say you all went above and beyond all of our expectations to make sure everything went perfectly the day of the wedding and spent countless hours before hand meeting with us, helping design plans and food choices, decor and flower planning. I am truly so grateful for everything that you guys did for us, more so than I can put in words here. It is apparent how much you all love your jobs and care about making it the most special day for your clients. Every wish we had for the day you guys put into motion, nothing was too big of an ask. I will also tell you that the villas were a huge selling point for us, and made it possible to have all of our family and friends in one place for the weekend - those are a huge asset for your property. I am so glad we made the decision to have our wedding at Red Hawk, I don’t think we would have had the same kind of experience anywhere else. Almost every single person I have talked to has done nothing but compliment the venue, the staff and have told us that it was one of the most beautiful weddings they have ever been to. You guys are truly the best!!

Outstanding
I don’t know where to start. I’ve got nothing but wonderful things to say about the red hawk event planning team. They’re flexible, understanding, very nice and very helpful. They made our day so flawless and beautiful, so many were involved in helping to make sure everything goes according to plans. They just made our wedding day a day to remember. Would highly recommend them for any event. A big thank you to Stephanie, Donny and Jordan! -

This is the 1st year Sparks High took their prom off campus and the Redhawk Crew made the experience incredible! They were willing to help us in any way and went above and beyond of what they needed to do for us! Between the natural beauty and the friendliness of staff I don't see why you wouldn't want to host any event here! It's a no brainer; Redhawk is the best! -

I love working with Red Hawk! Being a professional balloon decorator @ Party Hearty Balloons, I have decorated a few events there, but had never booked an event of my own. Great space
We had my bridal shower in the Members Lounge at Red Hawk. The room was lovely, with big windows and lots of wonderful natural light. due to Covid we were only able to accommodate 25 people, but it was still perfect. An outside patio is also available with this room, we didn’t use it due to it being cold but it is really nice and would be amazing during warm weather. Room comes with its own bar. Marsha was the server/bartender assigned to us and she was amazing, we loved having her. Donny helped us from the beginning and was professional, yet laid back which we were really thankful for. The whole team was very responsive via email and accommodated all off our needs. Like at most venues food and alcohol is usually a little more over priced than what it’s worth but it was still very good and tasty. Everyone had a great time. -

The team at Red Hawk made our day so memorable. From day one I felt like me and my husband were a priority and every request we had was accommodated. The wedding day team helped with timeline, and I never felt rushed - just got to truly enjoy the day with family and friends. We rented the Villas for the day before and night of the wedding and our stay was comfortable. To be so close to our room after our celebration was perfect. -

Despite a month of computer system difficulties just prior to my event, staff handled it seamlessly. The setup was perfect. The food was yummy. The flowers were gorgeous. And, most of all the staff was superb!
