  RUN, not walk, to Tara and Christy. They were recommended by our florist and I couldn't have been happier. I knew right away after the trial I wanted to book them and they did an amazing job doing hair and makeup for me, along with my mom, other bridesmaids and family members at the wedding. Their patience and attention to detail were nothing short of extraordinary and I am so glad I booked them to stay around for the ceremony so I could get touch ups before the cocktail hour. Truly amazing stylists--and so incredibly nice and fun to boot!! I highly recommend them for your wedding!

  Christy and Tara are both wonderful at what they do and have experience with not only weddings, but also with photo shoots and runway shows. Also, they come to you, which is amazing! At my trials, I was adamant about having a very natural look on my wedding day, as I don't wear a lot of makeup on a daily basis and I feared that I wouldn't look like myself. As they said, they simply created "a glammed up version" of me. Christy picked up my extensions two weeks prior to the wedding to curl and set them and Tara went out of her way to purchase me the lip gloss she used at my trial so I could have it throughout the day to reapply. My wedding was in July so it was hot and both my hair and makeup stayed perfectly ALL DAY! Even after many hours and many outdoor pictures. Their team set up in the early morning and were able to do an additional 15 services for members of my family and bridal party. They were organized and friendly and we were even ready earlier than expected! I highly recommend Red Carpet Brides for event hair and makeup. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day, and the pictures also showcase their excellent work. will definitely be using them again in the future!

  I booked these amazing ladies online as i was planning my wedding from Scotland! From start to finish, the service was amazing. I was in regular contact with Tara in the lead up to the big day, i did not have time for a make up or hair trial as we arrived in NYC only two days before the Wedding so i sent pictures in advance so they knew what we wanted before the day. Tara and Christy arrived on time at my hotel and made me feel relaxed straight away, they both worked extremely hard as they had my two bridesmaids, my mum's hair and make up as well as my hair/make up to do in a short space of time. They are both complete pro's, we got married in Central Park on the hottest day of the year and our make up did not move or smudge all day and stayed in place despite the humidity, this made such a difference in the Wedding pictures, hair and make up was perfect. I would 100% recommend these two lovely ladies, they are down to earth and will do an awesome job of your hair and make up, i am so glad i found them.

  Of course, there are many great hair stylists out there that get great reviews and do a wonderful job. However, I think there are about 3 things that really set Christi apart from others: her genuine skill and experience, her professionalism, and perhaps most importantly- her personality.
  
  A moment that I think really captures Christi’s skill and professionalism was when we were at my best friend’s wedding the first time I met Christi (she did the bridal party's hair), and a fellow bridesmaid was about to get her hair styled. The bridesmaid pulled out a Pinterest picture and showed it to Christi. Christi took a minute to look at the picture, and then actually shared with the bridesmaid that she didn’t think the hair style was fitting for her. That conversation had the potential to go terribly wrong, leaving the bridesmaid feeling hurt and dissed. However, Christi very professionally shared her opinion that the updo wasn’t quite fitting for the bridesmaid, based on seeing her interact with the rest of the girls that morning and getting a sense for her personality. She asked the bridesmaid to trust her (who was quite skeptical of having someone touch her hair to begin with!) and let her use that picture as inspiration but to change it a little. The bridesmaid agreed, and we couldn’t have been more impressed! Christi was spot-on, and loosened up the up-do and made it have a more romantic feel. I feel like this is an ideal example of the experienced keen eye Christi has!
  
  When booking a stylist, sometimes you forget that you are not only hiring a SKILL, but a person that will be with you on the day of your wedding! The conversation and laughter Christi brought was invaluable, making everyone smile and feel comfortable.
  
  Without hesitation, I recommend Red Carpet Brides NYC and Christi to EVERY future bride and bridesmaid. You will not only be happy with the final product, but will be happy that you had Christi by your side on one of the biggest days of your life!

  Red carpet brides did an amazing job! I loved working with Christi and Tara. They were so flexible with my trials and made the process relaxed and fun. My bridesmaids looked beautiful. My mother and mother in law were so happy with their hair and makeup. And my hair and makeup was exactly what I wanted for my wedding. Christi, Tara and their team are so talented!

  Tara and Christi's work was more than I could ever have asked for. From my trial last summer when they made me look so beautiful, to the wedding planning where every email was answered promptly, I knew I was lucky to have met and booked them. On the wedding day, they were ready with assistants to do hair and makeup for my large bridal party, and everyone looked absolutely GORGEOUS. Their presence also made the morning really fun! I am so thankful to have used them, and would recommend them to anyone in the future.

  So I left finding hair/make-up to the last minute because I could not get past all the terrible reviews I found for every vendor, until I found Red Carpet Brides. Tara and Christy came to my apartment for the trial, and I had no idea what to do for either hair or makeup. They worked with me and tried a couple things until we had the right combination. On the day of the wedding, they were right on time and kept on schedule with a lot of bridesmaids to do as well. I had so many compliments about my hair and make-up (which both held up very well for 12+ hours on a hot NYC day with outdoor pictures by a breezy river), that I want to hire them for everyday. So grateful to them for helping me look my best!

  I can't say enough about how wonderful it was to work with Christie, or enough about how perfect our hair came out. Christie also corrected my hair color a few weeks prior to my wedding, ensuring that I was happy about the entire final product. She was professional, and proved to be incredibly helpful to me and my family during the "getting ready" process. My hair stayed in place ALL night, despite torrential downpours and a humid day.   One of the hardest things to do research on for my wedding was hair and makeup. I'm a pretty low maintenance girl and don't really spend time or money on those things on a regular basis. A sorority sister recommended the girl who did her makeup for her wedding. I contacted her and it turned out she worked on a team with a hair person as well. So I set up a trial a year before my actual wedding date thinking I wanted to give myself time to do a few trials with other people. After Tara and Christy were done - I booked them on the spot! They were both so patient and did exactly what I asked them to and never pressured me into doing anything i wasn't comfortable with.
  
  On the day of my wedding, they arrived promptly to my hotel to start work on me, my MIL, and 6 of my bridesmaids. EVERYONE was thrilled with how they looked. All the make up and hair stayed great throughout the entire day (up to 14 hours for some of us). But the best part of it, was that we had fun. Tara and Christy were awesome, and so easy to get along with. It felt like one big slumber party. I honestly felt like a princess and I couldn't have asked for anything more. Thanks so much girls!

  Christi did my hair and my bridesmaids' hair, as well as both my mother and mother-in-law's hair for my wedding and all turned out amazing! Each of my bridesmaids had specific requests. Christi knew what incorporated their ideas with her own twist and they all not only looked awesome but they each loved the finished look.   Christi Rizos and her staff were unbelievable!! Stephanie Perez who was her main makeup artist also had a wonderful staff. I would recommend them highly!!!!

  I used Red Carpet Brides for my wedding last month, and I could not have been happier with their work. Tara is a pleasure to work with; she does amazing makeup and is very professional and accommodating. I absolutely loved my make up and all of my bridesmaids and my mom were extremely happy with their make up as well.   The make-up for my wedding was done by Tara Pagliara of Red Carpet Brides NYC. She made it seem as though doing make-up for four people was a total breeze, AFTER a long flight from NY to FL! She not only did my make-up, but also my mother's, my brides maid's, and my Maid of Honor's make-up, and we all looked FLAWLESS. I look at pictures, and feel like she helped me trick my husband into marrying me (j/k). I've never seen anyone make application of make-up look so effortless. She even did individual lashes on all four of us, and it was amazing!! We all looked and felt terrific, and she was on-site to make sure we stayed beautiful all day. I think the temperature was just under 100 degrees on my wedding day, but she made sure we looked refreshed and cool all day and long into the night. ALL of us were very impressed, including my husband, who couldn't get over her amazing accuracy and speed, when matching all of our skin-tones, evening us out, and giving us a natural look that was divinely seductive. Professional, high-quality, REASONABLY priced, and a pleasure to work with, Tara will now forever be my "go-to" girl for beauty, and I'd expect nothing less of the rest of her team at Red Carpet Brides NYC.

  Tara and Alex did my makeup and hair for my wedding and they both did a wonderful job. I had 2 hair trials with Alex trying to figure out exactly how to wear my hair and he was very accommodating and patient. The day of the wedding my hair came out perfect and everything stayed looking perfect all night long. Tara's makeup did not look overbearing and indeed looked very natural. Tara and Alex, along with 2 other artists, did the hair and makeup for my large bridal party and every single person looked fabulous, which is hard to do. I highly recommend them.

  I would highly recommend Tara and team for any wedding or special event. My bridesmaids and I agreed we had never seen such professional, elaborate work for a bridal party. They were efficient, put everyone at ease and listened to any and all concerns and suggestions. Most importantly - we all looked fabulous for my big day!

  I love the way Christi did my hair! I used her before the wedding for cuts and coloring. I also had a few blow outs and everyone always loved my hair! She is my new hair dresser and I couldn't be happier. Tara is also fabulous and did everyone's make up beautifully! The whole bridal party we happy with both of them and their work!

  If you're looking for a dependable vendor, I would highly discourage booking Christi for a day as important as your wedding. Throughout the process, she was unresponsive and I had to follow up with her multiple times in order to get a response. She cancelled on me about 5 weeks before my wedding for personal reasons, but the way she handled it was completely unprofessional and unethical. Sure, my trial came out nice, but the negativity associated with using her is NOT worth it. I've never written a negative review before, but just want other brides to avoid dealing with her for their special day, when there are plenty of other amazing hair stylists out there!
