I wouldn’t have had my wedding anywhere else!

I cannot say enough good things about Receptions! I worked with Kristina throughout the planning process, and had Kristy as my day of captain. They took amazing care of us throughout our entire journey. Our wedding day was perfect, and I wouldn’t have had my wedding anywhere else if I had to do it again.

Absolutely Wonderful to work with

My daughter got married March 2023. The whole process went smoothly. The venue was very easy to work with. The hall was beautiful the food was amazing. The entire wait staff did an outstanding job. Highly recommend.

Best Day Ever

Shannon was a pleasure to work with. She made us feel like we were the only couple she was working with which was amazing. Everything went so smoothly, we got so many compliments on the space. It was an absolutely perfect evening.

My niece's wedding was amazing!

I highly recommend Receptions in Erlanger, Kentucky. Shannon Flanagan is very sweet person and is very good at her job. She help me and my niece plan a beautiful wedding. The staff does all of the decorating for you. All we needed to do was drop off our decorations two days prior to the wedding.

Just make sure this is where you want to be... there is no refund if you end changing your mind. But overall, very pleased at how they have worked with us in making our day special even though we dont have as many ppl attending as expected.

We could not have had a better experience having our reception at Receptions in Erlanger. Shannon, our coordinator, was amazing. Attentive to every detail, super organized, and very accommodating to any request or change we had. The planning and set-up process is super easy, and all the staff are eager to help with anything needed. There was little to no stress when planning our reception here! As we walked into the reception the night of our wedding I couldn't have been more impressed, the decor was beautiful and just as we had planned, and the service (bar and food services) was outstanding. You will not be disappointed having your reception here!

We had our wedding reception at Receptions in Erlanger, KY. We worked with Shannon Flanagan who was so incredible, I could go on for hours. She was almost like a wedding coordinator herself but without the title. She was so easy to work with and would respond to emails so quickly. She always made us feel unique and not just another wedding in the book. She was what pulled us to Receptions initially and never once did I doubt my choice. Receptions is perfect because they include catering, tables/linens, lights, cake, setup, and teardown! You drop off all decorations a few days prior and tell the workers where you would like some items to go. They always find the perfect place for all remaining items. They work with all of your vendors and contact them before the event to coordinate setup times etc.. The food was amazing and the cake was delicious! Everyone was so professional and catered to our needs the entire time. During our reception, my aunt had a big fall which required the squad to come in and her to be taken to the hospital. The staff could not have made this process go any more smoothly than they did. Our guests remained entertained and my aunt was taken away via ambulance faster than I could believe. I would recommend Receptions to anyone who would love to have a hassle-free wedding planning process and in turn, have a fantastic wedding reception! You will never regret your decision. Thank you receptions for such an incredible night!

Talk to Shannon. She is flexible and willing to make your wedding wishes come true. The food is scrumptious, the service is impeccable, the venue has recently been remodeled and it is a very convenient location with free on site parking for all of your guests!!

Kerri from Receptions Western Hills was just amazing. We had to switch the YEAR of our wedding and she was more than accommodating. She helped us for two years to plan an amazing, stress free night. I was so worried about how I would have the time to set up and take down, but all that was done for us. She came over multiple times a night to make sure I had everything I needed and to check that everything was going as planned. It was such a fun night, and thanks to Kerri she made the night a breeze. Thank you!!

Shannon Flanagan with Receptions in Florence was amazing to work with. Very friendly and detailed oriented. Responsive to my phone calls and emails. Thanks you so much for all the work you did on our wedding reception. It was an amazing experience for Kara and I. Please let the cooks know everyone raved about the food. Mindy made the most amazing wedding cake! Jan who I think was the captain of the ballroom made sure everything went great for us. She did an amazing job!

Receptions was wonderful! Our planner was always on the ball, very flexible, and always excited for us. We certainly got our money's worth with buffet-style food, open bar, and beautiful lighting! Our guests raved about how much fun they had. I never once worried that things weren't under control which was a huge relief the day of. Additionally, our captain (the lady who ran things the night of) was superb! She was friendly and had fun with us as she attended to us all night. Definitely a night to remember in this space!

Receptions was absolutely amazing to work with on my wedding day! They seriously made our wedding day everything we could have dreamed of! We were originally working with Jodie before she deservingly got promoted and were then moved to Shannon. Shannon was awesome! She was so quick to respond to any questions. She did everything we asked for! The food is absolutely incredible! We got so many compliments on our wedding food! We were told by numerous people that it was the best wedding dinner they had ever had! Thank you so much Jodie, Shannon, and the entire Receptions team for making our wedding day everything we could have hoped for!

This place was AMAZING! The best customer service I ever could imagine. They went above and beyond to make our wedding just perfect, were so accommodating to my requests and many questions leading up the wedding, and were so gracious and kind to our guests. We couldn't be more pleased. I tell everyone about this place!

I recently had my wedding reception at Receptions Eastgate and it was amazing! The staff took great care of everything. They responded quickly to my millions of emails and were very willing to work with all of my ideas. We would definitely recommend having your event at the receptions eastgate. We also had our wedding cake made my Mindy at Receptions and everyone still raves about how delicious it was! We loved all that Receptions offered!

One Stop Shop! I planned my wedding from 1200 miles away, so we needed a place that could do it all for us. Receptions Inc Erlanger was everything we needed and more! I was able to get a package that included dinner, open bar, cake, linen, dinnerware, etc. I was very happy with the venue and their services. Jodie was my sales associate. She was easy to talk to, knowledgable, helpful, and easy to get a hold of. On our big day, Christine was our team captain. She was also amazing! She was extremely helpful and calm. She ran the show smoothly in partnership with our DJ.

Kerri was so helpful planning everything before the wedding, and was really good about getting back with you, meeting with you and answering any questions! During the wedding Andrea was a huge help anything I needed she was there!! Thanks REceptions this place was great, beautiful and everything we wanted!!!!

They accidentally double booked the ceremony room at the Erlanger location so we ended up moving to the Eastgate location and they were very professional about the whole deal. We didn't mind moving locations as both our families were out of town. We had an awesome time and everything was done without a hitch.

Would HIGHLY recommend Receptions! Both Cassie and then Shannan were so very accommodating. We had to plan the wedding on short notice and when everyone else laughed at me, they were able to give us a beautiful room, and a wonderful package. Everyone complimented the food, the service, and it was so helpful to have them place our favors and other items for us! Having Mindy's Cakes on site was another blessing. We had our wedding reception at Receptions in Loveland. The staff there was great to work with and very very helpful! From day one they helped take over a lot of the busy work and had great vendor recommendations for other aspects of the wedding. They made our whole wedding planning process very very easy. From start to finishes they handled just about everything we asked them too. Our food was great and the room looked beautiful when we got there. The staff was great and I actually got to enjoy my wedding reception because they had everything under control. They also were fairly priced compared to other places we had met with in the area that provided the same services.

Could not have asked for a better reception venue. They worked with us to make sure every single detail was perfect, from chair bows to menu items. I live a hour away, and jef met me halfway to choose menu items and other specifics. The packages are tailored to fit exactly what you want and there are absolutely no hidden charges, like at other reception venues. Just one flat price, which I found to be within our very tight budget. They were all great, and I highly recommend receptions

We booked Receptions in Eastgate becasue it was the closest to our home, it was easy and we needed an all inclusive reception site. We knew it would be good (my sister had her reception there, and we've been to wedding there). We booked a discounted winter/friday rate that included beer and wine. DH does not drink and we had to be up really early so I didn't drink nor did I ask in any of consultations about the type of beer, I assumed it was draft pitchers that would be served and that was fine. It was top shelf variety, yuengling, miller, budwiser, bud light, you name it I saw my guests drinking it and this was a pleasent suprise!! The food was amazing! We choose the chicken parm, and carved ham as our main proteins, both were delicious and well recieved by our guests. The staff was extremly helpful asking if we needed anything, and they even made up a to go box of food for us. The process of booking with receptions was very easy, the payment plan worked well with our budget and all in all we recommend then for any event!

Receptions in Erlanger was the perfect spot for our wedding. They had the date open my husband and I wanted, they're super friendly and helpful so it was easy choice for us! They helped our day run smoothly and made it a wonderful day for us. They are very accommodating and the food was delicious :)

this place was a one time stop shop they provide everything delicous from salad to ourderves to dinner they even have cake but we went with a diffrent cake vender cause there cake is pricey but pretty

Receptions kept the event hassle free and took care of all of our guests with nothing short of professionalism. They were great! And the best part, THEY DO IT ALL! I didn't have to prep or clean up one thing....they are the only way to go!

We used the Receptions in Loveland and were very happy with everything. The food was excellent, we got multiple compliments on how good everything was. Our captain the night of the wedding was great. Our coordinator, Bridget, is also great to work with. She responds to emails promptly and had answers for all our questions. Everything turned our great and we were extremely satisfied!

I had my reception here and I absolutely loved it. Kelly was the best and so easy to work with! All of my special requests were met with no issues at all. The room looked amazing and we had so much room to dance and enjoy ourselves.

Joyce did a fantastic job at helping us with our reception. She helped us figure out the tiny details, and was very accommodating to special requests. She doesn't sweat the small stuff and her years of experience in the industry are a true gift to a bride who needs tasks taken off her mind. On our wedding day, the power went out at Receptions, and Joyce stayed all night to make sure everything went seamless. We had a nice candle lit dinner, and luckily the power came back on. She was there until we all left for the night. She does an amazing job and I feel so lucky to have had her help with our reception!

Receptions took care of all of the details for us....it made planning so much easier. The banquet halls are very nicely decorated. Furthermore, the staff at our reception took care of anything we needed that night so that we could enjoy the reception. Definitely a great value for your money!

Joyce Klosterman and her team were a great help in pulling our wedding together perfectly and seamlessly. She was very, very accommodating to special requests, and truly went above and beyond in her efforts. Receptions is the only place to have your reception. They take care of everything for you so you have less to worry about on your big day! They do the centerpieces, napkins, decorations, chair covers and everything for you. We dropped off our favors and they placed them at the table for us. They waited on the bride and groom all night getting drinks, fixing our plates and even ordering a special wine that we requested. They take responsibility for calling your DJ and Cake vendor that morning to make sure they're on time and ready- it's one less thing you have to do! The food tastes great! Highly recommended.

The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The only thing that I had a problem with was the food tasting, they do not provide all foods available at the tasting.

Used the Loveland, OH facility and I must say they exceeded everything. We, as well as our guests, raved about how wonderful everything was. Their food was amazing (which was included in the overall price) and staff extremely wonderful. The price came in lower than we had planned for, which is an extreme plus!!!

I couldn't have been more pleased with Receptions - Erlanger, I didn't have to worry about anything. They did everything for me and it was done 110%. The reception was wonderful. It couldn't have been more perfect. The food was great, the staff was great, the room setup was perfect.

Receptions made things EXTREMELY easy and stress free. They set everything up for me and the room took my breath away when I walked in. All night, the staff made sure my husband and I had everything we needed and were comfortable. It was great!

All of the staff at Receptions South was more than accomodating during the planning process and throughout the night of the reception. Their prices are competitive to begin with, but add on a winter wedding discount, and you really cannot beat it! All of our guests commented on the quality room setup, ice sculpture, appetizers, and meal. I would recommend Receptions South to any bride or groom!!

Receptions was a wonderful place as far as their catering goes! They had a tasting for our family (my Parents who were paying for the wedding, my fiancé and me) which we did not expect, and they were very professional. We were offered various dining options and we were not rushed to decide on any one. We opted for a very nice and full buffet with a full salad bar, a carving station, for 2 meats- roast beef and turkey, and sides, potatoes and vegetables. There was also fruit at the end of the buffet. The buffet was not only delicious, it was placed so beautifully that it as if it could have been from a chic restaurant and not one of those nasty buffet places where they just dump new stuff onto the old stuff.

The wait staff were very quick to do their job and they did it VERY well... such as with our toast at the beginning of the evening. The toast was done with free Champaign as a gift from Receptions. However we had two people - a good friend of my Mom and the woman's boyfriend, who were both recovering alcoholics. And so we prearranged for these two to have sparkling apple cider for their toast. The waiter knew exactly where they were sitting from my table map and did not embarrass them at all. He was very discreet and all of us were very happy about that.

While taking the plates away, there were no accidents, etc and the same with serving the cake. Things went beautifully. We were very, very happy with the catering service which was provided by Receptions.

I do also have to mention that my Bridesmaid who did have her wedding at Receptions after I did (because she and her fiancé liked it so much (after they both attended my wedding) - they both are Jewish and follow strict Orthodox food rules. Because of this, it was not possible for them to use the Receptions kitchen unless it had been cleaned to their liking and had been blessed by a Rabbi who is a scholar and knows rules of blessing the places where food is made in a truly kosher way. This was done and because the wait staff of Receptions were not kosher, they were not able to help serve, etc. during this wedding.

There were a number of different issues that came up-- such as the families needing to bring their own kosher food and keeping these items separate- so that Milk and Meat would not touch or be near each other, etc. I must tell you that Receptions was SO WONDERFUL to my friend and her family!!!! They were accommodating and while it was hard sometimes for the managers at Receptions to agree with some of the requests, they eventually were able to agree to make things work so that it was a wonderful, joyous wedding that very far into the night!!

And so, I have to say that not only does Receptions help everything to go smoothly, they also work with people from different cultures so that they can have the wedding of THEIR dreams as well!

We were extremely thrilled with our experience at Receptions South in Erlanger, KY. The food was outstanding--everyone commented on how good it was. One thing the venue did that I didn't expect was they met us at the door as we were getting out of the limo to see what our drink orders were! Another very helpful thing they did was have someone go with me through the buffet line and get my food and hold my plate. This really is helpful when you're trying to wrestle a wedding dress, veil, etc! It was the little touches that make Receptions exceptional.

Our reception was absolutely beautiful. Our particular plan had the chocolate fountain, wine service, open bar and ice scupture. Our wedding was held during the day, so our price was very good for the quality and service we received. The evening receptions are were a bit more expensive. However, the staff is very friendly, the reception was very well prepared and the facilities were very nice.

We had our wedding reception here on April 25, 2014. Receptions was a great choice for us! The staff is great and works very hard to get your everything you need. The only snag occurred when we first booked the venue. This location was going through some restaffing and the coordinator we began planning our wedding with was let go. It ended up working out because the owner personally helped us and took care of us.
We had a Friday evening reception with a passed course meal (not a buffet). The food was amazing! Many of our guests were complimenting the quality and the taste of the food, especially the steak!
The bartenders were also very helpful in planning our signature cocktail.
We loved working with receptions and would recommend them to anyone! The value and the quality of service you get from them can't be beat!

Overall my experience with Receptions Loveland was exceptional. They were very on the ball with most things. The venue is beautiful and the food is excellent. We did have a few minor problems with the staff there the day of, but they were very minor and did not take away from the day at all, and Receptions was very receptive to our feedback and even offered to give my parents a giftcard for a nice dinner out. However, even though a few things did go wrong, they did not even come close to overshadowing all the wonderful things that Receptions did to help make my wedding stress free and as personalized as I wanted it to be. I would definitely recommend that someone use this venue for their reception.

It took us a while to find a reception venue and I could not have been more pleased! This was actually the 3rd Receptions site we looked at and I booked it as fast as I could! Of all the Receptions sites, this certainly has the most visual appeal from the outside, especially at night with the drive up. The facilities are immaculate and very well maintained. The food is great and there are several different options to choose from and varying price ranges which is great for your budget. There are lots of little extras included with some of the packages and if you book at the right time, you can get good special deals. They are flexible about meetings and payments and have the ability to hold several hundred people. Our room could hold 300 max and we weren't even the biggest room! They made my reception everything I had dreamed of and I had so much fun! I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area!

I would DEFINITELY suggest this reception hall!!!
Cons:There were some communication issues by misquoting me for a reception. If you work there you should know what budgets you can work with and what you can't. It got worked out as best it could with the manager and I ended up having a fantastic experience. When I got there the head caterer was a bit snippy with me telling me we didn't have time for something because I was late. We were the wedding party, we were not late to our own reception, period. Apparently she was unaware that we were taking pictures and the first hour was a cocktail hour, I don't know.
Pros: Other than those two things, everything else was absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere was great, the rooms are great, they staff made sure we got our food first and even carried my plate for me and got us drinks. It's a fantastic place to have wedding, the food is amazing every time!!

Receptions helped me have the sort of reception I didn't think I could afford. Their all-inclusive nature allowed me to have real china, a chocolate fountain, and chair covers, all of which would have been out of my budget otherwise. They provide centerpieces, another major moneysaver!

We did have a few minor issues during the reception - the toast wasn't ready, the projector wasn't turned on for the slideshow, and the chocolate fountain ran out of dippers (though they did refill it when I complained). Some of these they blamed on the DJ, though I tend to think the blame was shared.

They were easy to work with right from the first day, were always available by phone or even for a meeting to answer questions or figure things out. This is a great choice for budget brides!

Absolutely loved this vendor! They were professional, easy to work with, and the quality was fantastic. They offered a great wedding package. Food samplings 4 times a year, tons of napkin colors to chose from and they worked so well with my other vendors. I really appreciate their service. I am a catering manager for a hotel in northeast ohio and understand how hard it is to make a wedding reception perfect for a bride and groom. They truly made my day a really special event. I would recommend them to anyone!

Receptions Eastgate took the stress out of planning the wedding. Once we actually decided to go with them, they worked with us on all with all our ceremony/reception needs. The food was great, the alcohol package was VERY reasonable (we got a great deal), and the service provided by the staff was unbelievable.

This reception facility is centrally located. It is near several hotels, restaraunts, and other local attractions. The staff is professional and friendly. They made the reception run smoothly!

We had a wonderful experience with Receptions in Erlanger, KY. They offered great deals for winter weddings (we were married in January). They food was really good - we got lots of comments from our guests about it! They were pretty easy to get in touch with and they returned emails and phone calls quickly. Their captains services was great! This is the second wedding our family has had at Receptions and we will recommend them to others in the future!

My husband and I used Recpetions- Loveland location. Everything was perfect! The food was good, and all our guests said how beautiuful the room was. The only complaint I can give them is about the bartenders. I told the manager that I did not want any of my guests to be allowed shots- or any straight drinks (we had an open bar). They told me that it was their policy not to give out shots to guests so I did not have to worry. Come to find out, one of the bartenders was indeed giving out shots. I didn't learn this until after the wedding so I can't say it had any affect on the actual day. I would reccomend them to anyone for any occasion.

Overall, I was extremely happy we chose to have our wedding reception at Receptions located in Eastgate. They took so much stress off of my husband, our families, and me! I was totally relaxed on our way to the reception because I just knew that the staff at Receptions was going to take care of everything that needed to be done.

They set up my favors, flowers I added to the centerpieces, gift box, champagne glasses, cake knife and server, and decorations in plenty of time. They even packed up all the gifts, extra favors, and decorations at the end of the night, and loaded them into my parents' car.

I felt like the price was very reasonable for the amount of guests we had at our wedding. Our package included an ice sculpture and a chocolate fountain, which wasn't really necessary, but, hey, it was free, so we took it. We added open bar service for a very reasonable cost, $2 per person, and although it wasn't top-shelf liquor, the brands were all known(Smirnoff was the vodka at the bar, etc...).

The only time we had a slight problem with the company was when the gentleman we were working with switched to another location. We were not informed of this, and were surprised when we called a month before the wedding to check in with him. The lady that worked with us was very nice, but it seemed as though she was unfamiliar with our reception, and she had not even looked at the notes the previous manager had taken. We requested bottled beer instead of draft, and she acted like that could not be done, even though it was already agreed upon. After she looked in our file, she finally agreed that we did, in fact receive bottled beer. It was just a little confusing explaining all our requests over again.

The staff was also a little difficult to get a hold of at times. No matter when we called, a person never picked up, and we were sent to their voicemail. It happened EVERY time called, which I found strange. They usually got back to us within three days, but, at times, that's a long time for a bride to be waiting to confirm details.

The bartenders working the bar weren't always very friendly, and they wouldn't even swing a free beer to the maid of honor at 12:01, when the cash bar started. I thought just maybe they would let one pass, but oh well. I really can't complain about that. They didn't charge me! :)

I would definitely recommend Receptions to any bride. One of the highlights they offer is a room captain that literally follows you around all night and gets you everything you want. It was very nice to have someone to get drinks, food, and wipe the cake off when my husband smashed it, so rudely, into my face!

This is what I tell my friends who are getting married now: If you want a stress free wedding, where you don't have to worry about anything be set-up or broken down, book Receptions. It is way more affordable than the Madison, and offers bigger spaces. I had over 400 people at my reception, and, although the Madison said they could do 400, it would have been so cramped people would not have been able to move comfortably. The Madison was also going to charge me a ridiculous amount of money in MARCH!, while Receptions gave me a discount. I was very happy with the service!

I held my wedding reception at Receptions-Eastgate location in July 2014. Everything went great. I dropped off my decorations the night before and everything was perfect when we walked in for the reception. The receptions captain (i think thats her title?) was absolutely great. She helped me with dinner and made sure I always had a drink. The bar service was great also. By around 10:30 we drank them out of well burbon. Instead of saying no more burbon, they used their top shelf brands at no additional cost to us.

The only downside to this venue is the location. It is in a strip mall almost which is not greatly appealing. but, the enterance is on the backside so you can kind of forget about the other things arouns it. And once you get inside, it is beautiful so it worked just fine.

I would definitley reccommend this venue. For the price adn what you get, you cant beat it.

I love this place I will have my next event there. Jef, Bridget H. , Elaine, Sue were all understanding and made my Son's Event memerable. I had one bump with a male worker. However They are great listener's and wonderful to work with. The Bartender at my event on 5/6/12 was Awesome! Do bring your Laptop for your own slide show (which they did remind me many times about ). However everything was great!!!!!
They had everything great: Table center pieces, Dinner, Chocolate fountain, Appetizer display, clean restrooms, Bar, Lightingect. you will not be disappointed.

Our reception was in the Boone/Kenton rooms. It was perfect! Everything was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the drinks were great! Our captain for the night was very good. She was always there to ask if we needed anything. Kelly, who we worked with planning the reception, was very good to work with. She always answered any questions that I had very quickly. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

I had a rough time with Receptions initially. The woman who originally booked our date left the company, and I was never informed. Thus, I repeatedly tried to contact her and was unsuccessful. After that confusion was cleared up, Jeff and Kelly were extremely helpful. They took care of all of the small details that a bride simply can't do and made the evening a great success.

We did have a few small issues, however. After my husband and I did our cake cutting, Receptions never removed our cake from the table to cut it! Only a few people came up and got the cupcakes, so we basically wasted all of our cake costs, because no one got to eat it. Also, we were supposed to have a chocolate fountain (as per our contract), and it was not out at the wedding.

Overall, though, they were a great vendor to work with, and I am very glad we chose them!

We had our wedding and reception at the Eastgate location. Everything was beautiful and the staff is great! The person that we originally booked our wedding with was let go and we went through a few people before getting the person we did. She was great at helping us make decisions. The only thing I didn't like, is they booked a late wedding after our ceremony (which was fine) and that wedding party kept coming to our reception for drinks and then coming over dancing with our guest. That was very frustrating after we were told they would not interfere with our day. Plus side, the food and drinks were great, the reception room was just as I imagined it would be. Overall great place and people, just didn't care for other wedding disrupting my reception.

We booked with Receptions Southeast Indiana and had a very good experience. They were very flexible with our limited budget, and we were happy to be able to have our wedding/reception in one location. They did all the work to set up and tear down.

Sales staff was wonderful to work with and I even left all of my decorations (candy buffet, table toppers, photo station) with them several days before my reception with directions of how I wanted them set up. They did a great job making everything the way I wanted it! They were completely flexible and supportive through all the planning and went above and beyond my expectations. However one staff member the day of the wedding was very rude to my mothers request to rearrange a couple of chairs to accommodate two guests who did not RSVP. The staff member was rude and even pointed at the couple and said "oh so you're the people who didn't even RSVP." we had over six guests who did RSVP not show up so it shouldn't have been a big deal moving those empty chairs to their table. Once the staff member found out the women requesting for the guests was the mother of the bride, she quickly apologized and found seats.

Receptions, Inc. at the Loveland location is a very reasonably priced vendor for a wedding reception. The food we had was great, although they completely forgot to serve our vegetarian guests. My husband was slightly irked by the fact that we, as the bride & groom, had to get up ourselves to get food from the buffet line and the cake-- the facility seemed to be under-staffed.

However, the staff is friendly, albeit a bit hard to get in touch with via e-mail (we were planning this wedding remotely and communicated mainly via e-mail with our vendors). We had to press them for details about menus and decorations, but once that was all planned out, they were great! All I had to do was drop off the decorations and favors, provide them with some instructions about what I wanted for the centerpieces, and they decorated them EXACTLY the way I envisioned! It was perfect! They were also very helpful in terms of brainstorming ideas for decorating the cake table, etc.

I had my wedding Reception at the Loveland location in July 2012. Bridgette worked with us to create a lovely appetizer reception for about 300 people. The food was delicious and the room was beautiful.

I had some issues with communicating with the staff, but everything worked out without a problem.

My only complaint about this vendor is that despite the fact that I was asked to (and did) provide very detailed lists of where to position various decorative items, some items were completely misplaced. I had photos of our parents on their wedding day, cutting their cake, and they were supposed to be on our cake table. The photos were on a table with our guestbook instead : (

We loved the place once we walked in! It was perfect for our reception. However, my contact person changed 3 times (and I guess ownership once) without any notification. At once point the second person could not find our listing. It was a mess and many tears trying to find out if I still had a reception place. Fortunately a very kind woman (I forget her name) was a wedding saver and smoothed everything over. She invited us to food tastings (delicious chicken parm!), and random visits for me to get ideas. Plenty of parking and spots for family members.

What really got this bride's blood hot was how they changed the layout of the tables the night before the wedding! Our families weren't even at the front. People who I barely knew were the ones looking straight at me. My in-laws took this as an insult from me. Besides the fact that they should definitely know how the tables fit, I could have rearranged the numbers to make sure the most important people got the respects/seating they needed. I think several rough edges need to be smoothed with the change of ownership but there should be communication.

I have delayed writing my review for about a month to really think through how I felt about my experience. Leading up to the event, I worked with both Jodie and Shannon, and throughout the planning phases things were great and they were very accommodating. My experience the week of (after my final payment) was just okay. The reception room looked great and was set up as requested, and we got lots of compliments on the food. However, my slideshow did not play during cocktail hour as requested and when it did start, it was someone else's. Also, the moveable walls are so thin that I don't think anyone heard our toasts over the music next door. My main frustration though was with the ceremony room. I paid $500 to use it and it was not at all what I expected. I saw it set up for the first time just a couple of days before my wedding and had to redesign my decorations to accommodate the things that differed from the diagram I had been given. The chairs were wall to wall (with an aisle) and went all the way to the back, so my guests were squished in like sardines and there was no room for the flower arrangements that I purchased. Also, the wall was once again moveable, but it was not able to be centered with the aisle, so it looked like a mess (especially after the curtain was put up, which is on a PVC pipe structure that started to fall over after the first person went down the aisle, and caught my dress as I took my first steps). I also didn't like that they were pushing us out practically as our guests walked out of the ceremony (our pictures took less than 20 minutes because we did most ahead) and I couldn't go into the reception until the bridal suite was emptied. It was very obvious that it was all about the money at that point. I'm just glad we had an awesome wedding party and great guests who helped me to create wonderful memories despite all of that. I would not, however, hold my ceremony there if I could do it again.

During the 13+ months of planning, Receptions went through an ownership change and several wedding coordinators. It was extremely frustrating communicating with them until one finally stayed long enough. I won’t go through all the mess-ups and confusions with the ownership change, because I think at this point those hiccups have been worked out since most have booked with the current owners. What I will go over is the weeks leading up and day of. Our coordinator was difficult to communicate with. I would email her asking very specific information, in response getting vague answers. About 7 weeks before the wedding I met with her to finalize all the options (ie menu, floor plan, times, ect). Everything was written up and she sent me a copy. Fast forward to wedding day and the reception… Food was missing. I go through the line with the Capitan (who was Amazing) and we were missing one of our side dishes. That’s a big thing to miss on a wedding. The Capitan and chef tried to make it right by offering to extend the reception by an hour, but the damage was done.

They forgot food!

When we went through the buffet line one of our side items was missing. We paid for a package that contained 2 meat offerings and 3 compliments. Our Pasta side dish was no where to be found. It was very unfortunate because we did have a few vegetarians at our wedding and that was their entree option.

When I approached the Captain for the evening she said it wasn't on the list. At that point the chef could not do anything and we were out of luck. The chef did try and make it right by offering an extra hour for free, but then we would have had to pay our DJ too.

I did speak to someone at corporate after the event who could not provide a good reason as to what had happened. Please make sure you have someone check everything for you, it also wouldn't hurt to call the venue the day before and do a double confirm.

I called to schedule a wedding and a reception at one of their locations and it was a complete disaster. The lady called me at the last minute which was an hour stating she had "Walking Pneumonia" and that she would call me the next day to reschedule. I had to call family members to let them know not to leave work because she cancelled on me! I had already left work and was on the shuttle to the Parking Garage to leave and meet with her! On top of that she never called me back until I called to see if she was there; and YEP SHE WAS!!!! She answered the phone just fine and when I disconnected from her Ironically she called me back to reschedule our appointment to a later date! I would have rather her say that day was taking or something; what is crazy is I work at a hospital and you know 2 days ahead of time if you are sick and going to be out of the office for any reason even that morning! "Walking Pneumonia" you would not want to touch a phone nor talk let alone be on 2-4 L of oxygen your chest is caving in and you think you are about to die! I don't know what is going on but if you are sick you do not need to be in the office nor be "chipper" the next day. On top of that call my cell phone and leave a message and you are coughing and I just spoke to you 1.5 minutes before and you are fine!

Maybe for someone else this is a great place like I thought or maybe it was just me/us trying to get the venue. Everything happens for a reason. Again, "I hope you feel better!"
