I absolutely recommend Rebekah for your photography needs! She photographed both my engagement photos and wedding (package included engagement photos), and the photos she captured are stunning! Months later people still spontaneously comment on how beautiful the wedding pictures are.
She is also excellent to work with - clear communication, timely delivery of photos, low stress. She has a fantastic eye for lighting. Her style is light and romantic— and consistent. If you look at her portfolio you’ll get a great sense of how your photos will turn out. Day of the wedding she brought a second photographer and an assistant with her, so you’re sure to get all the angles covered, and they were all so professional and easy to work with!

When my husband and I got engaged, we knew immediately we wanted to get married in Charleston. Living in the Northern Virginia region, we weren't sure if we would find a local photographer to travel with us to Charleston, or hire a Charleston photographer. So, at first, we moved forward with hiring Rebekah for our engagement photos. My husband and I are not naturally comfortable in front of the camera, so we were both nervous going into our shoot. We quickly realized there was absolutely no need to be nervous - Rebekah made us feel comfortable from the first picture! Our shoot was in Old Town Alexandria and we thought we knew the area pretty well, but Rebekah found the perfect hidden gems to take our photos. We brought our nervous and energetic dog and Rebekah took her eccentricities in stride and we got some amazing photos with our pup that we were not expecting. When we got the final photos, we knew we had to find a way to get Rebekah to shoot our wedding. As luck would have it, we share a love for Charleston and Rebekah was on board!
On our wedding day, neither my husband nor I were nervous about the photos because we knew how comfortable and natural we felt when Rebekah took our engagement photos. Despite a torrential downpour the morning of our wedding, Rebekah found the perfect spots that showcased our love for Charleston and our venue. I was amazed at how quickly we received our sneak peeks - and there were so many more than I expected! They were absolutely perfect and captured our wedding exactly how we envisioned. Our family is still gushing about how amazing the photos are and we can't wait to receive our full album and start selecting photos to go in the album included as part of our package. We just had Rebekah take our engagement photos and we are absolutely THRILLED with her work :) We were both nervous ahead of time about taking the photos and how they might turn out, and all I can say is WOW! Rebekah made us completely comfortable and her work turned out stunning. I can't wait to see her again at our wedding, and I'm 100% confident we will be thrilled once again! Stop looking, you have found THE BEST! We chose Rebekah after interviewing 5 other popular and well-reviewed photographers in our area to photograph our wedding. From our first interaction Rebekah was nothing but kind, cheerful, responsive, and extremely helpful. We loved how her packages include “credits” that can be used for items of your choice. We chose to do the engagement shoot and could not recommend doing this more! It gave us a chance to get comfortable in front of the camera and for Rebekah to guide us through the pictures, which was SO helpful. During our sessions she was very friendly and encouraging and made us feel very at ease! Throughout the wedding planning process she was right with us each step of the way and offered timeline, décor, and style suggestions. She and her team went above and beyond for us on our wedding day- even saving our cake from a sudden downpour and staying longer than expected due to the rain delay! In the end our pictures turned out better than I could have ever dreamed of! My husband and I are beyond pleased with our photos and our experience with Rebekah. The most amazing, perfect photographer in the world!!!
Rebekah is the most AMAZING photographer in the entire world! She ALSO is the sweetest person ever. She will make all of your dreams come true! She was our favorite vendor hands down!!!!! My husband and I were crying at the sheer beauty of her art and work from our Engagment and wedding photos. She captured every moment and memory to last a lifetime. From the very start we instantly knew she was the right person- answering all of our questions, thoughts, providing reassurance and guidance. Rebekah is so professional, detailed oriented and so incredibly thoughtful. I lost my mom in August 2018- Rebekah wrote me a hand written letter with a package expressing her thoughts and love to me! I mean you guys?! She is seriously the best!! She was there to help us celebrate our love and help us honor my mom so much. She goes above and beyond for everything- she is so responsive, detailed , wants to truly know your love story and highlight the most important thing - marriage - your partnership!!! She thinks of everything and truly works with all of the other vendors with such teamwork and leadership to ensure our day went perfect!! And it did! We had a blast at our wedding and she was a huge part for that! My husband and I are pretty shy- and Rebekah made us feel so comfortable where we could be open and show our love and personality through the camera with the most real smiles and laughs! We gained a forever photographer and friend!!! We can’t wait for another family wedding and or special event to have her capture!!! We thank you from our full hearts for everything you have done and your kind heart!!!!! We will be recommending Rebekah to everyone !! I had a wonderful experience with Rebekah as our wedding photographer! As a photographer myself, I knew this was going to be the hardest, yet most important vendor I hired. I knew what I was looking for, so when I came upon Rebekah's portfolio, style and approach, I had a feeling she was the one! After a virtual meeting, it confirmed everything - she was professional, confident, easy to talk to and she knows her stuff! I knew that personality is just as important as talent, as your photographer is with you the entire day and interacting with all your guests. Rebekah was warm, genuine, calm and in control. She was flexible in our engagement location and was able to be with us the entire wedding weekend- Friday through Sunday. Her second shooter and assistant were equally as wonderful and professional, and she worked well with our videographer. She was able to get us previews the evening of each night (amazing) which satisfied the craving to see photos right away and gave me the patience to wait for the incredible full gallery, which we were blown away by. It felt like we didn't see her (in a good way), but yet she was everywhere- capturing every detail! She dealt with some crazy winds, golf carts and fussy toddlers like a champ. My husband is not "into photos," but even he raved about how wonderful she was and how comfortable he felt. You will not regret hiring Rebekah and it is SO important to invest in capturing these memories that go by so fast so you can relive them for years to come!Rebekah Emily Photography's reply:

She came out in 90+ heat with humidity and worked through flawlessly! It is such a delight to work with Rebekah!!! She makes you laugh and feel comfortable in front of the camera.
