Effortless End Result
If you or your fiancé don't love having your photo taken or dread the intensity professional photos can bring- Hire Rebeca. (or if you do- Hire Rebeca.) We honestly were not planning to have a formal photographer for our Boston City Wedding because neither my fiancé or I like having our photo taken or interested in spending celebration time posing over and over again. Rebeca is creative, down to earth and more interested in you than in her- meaning, she will bring out your personality in just a few shots then hours of direction to achieve a Pinterest fad.
Rebeca traveled 4 hours to take our engagement photos at our family lake home in Maine- she easily transitioned our landscape from the woods to the boat, then chilled by the fire with us. It was so awesome that she took the time to get to know us even more before the wedding. My fiancé is now so comfortable with Rebeca, I am reassured our wedding photos will have that effortless end result we are going for.
Our Engagement Photos were delivered quickly and instantly downloadable. The prints tell a story when reviewed together, but also outstanding as individual moments.
If she can accomplish all this for a photo-phobic couple, imagine what she can do for you! -

Delighted with both the experience and the results
Cannot recommend Rebeca enough, she's kind and fun and down for anything- my fiancee and I had a far-fetched idea of taking some of our engagement shots on a small sailboat on a lake, and Rebeca didn't miss a beat before volunteering to hop in a canoe and paddle out with us. The photos are beautiful and feel so true to us. I really appreciated her directions to pose us and get a great shots that feel tender and un-forced.Rebeca Velie Photography's reply:

Rebeca is not only an amazing person but she is beyond talented. She was everything we wanted and needed right from the start. She got back to my original inquiry right away and was able to set up a meeting (through zoom since we live in a different state) just as quickly. She kept contact with us in the months leading up to our elopement and made the entire process leading up to our day so easy and comforting to know we didn’t need to worry about that detail of it. We have always said we wanted to get married on a mountain with a beautiful view and have a great photoshoot. Rebeca was immediately up for the challenge and made it possible. We chose a hike that ended up being a little (a lot) more steep than anticipated, and it was one of the most humid days in New Hampshire this summer (haha), which made the trip to the top of the mountain a bit more challenging for us, not her she handled it like a champ. She was so patient and helpful during the hike, and we had so much fun just talking and getting to know one another. Once at the top we realized how worth it the hike was, she began capturing the scenery and our special moments right away. I can honestly say she truly captured us and our love in the photos. She got the photos to us quickly and professionally. We are so incredibly happy and grateful for our photos and for her. Wedding photography
Becky was a fantastic photographer and a pleasure to have at my small wedding. The pictures came out even better than I hoped- they were dramatic and captured the moment, but not too edited or cheesy. We decided at the very last minute - literally the week before - that we wanted a photographer for our tiny civil ceremony, and feel so lucky to have found Rebeca available! She was prompt and responsive, asked all the right questions in our intro call, worked with us to put together a custom package that made the most sense for us, and could not have been more helpful or friendly throughout. And of course, that is on top of the absolutely gorgeous photos she produced, which we couldn't be happier with. We look forward to working with Rebeca on family portraits or other milestones in the future! -

Highly recommend!
We loved having Becky as our wedding photographer! She was flexible and easy to work with, both the day of and leading up to the wedding. Although she’s new to photographing weddings, you would never be able to tell. Our photos are some of the best I’ve seen and we absolutely love them! I made contact with Becky due to having to cancel my destination wedding in Jamaica and needed a photographer fast and there she was to my rescue. Her wedding portfolio may not be big but she has a great eye and does amazing work. I’m looking forward to working with Becky in the future again. -

Engagement Photos
Becky was AWESOME! She did an engagement shoot for my fiancé and I; the photos came out incredible. She was fun and easy to work with and even was able to incorporate our dog in these stunning photos! Her turn around time for editing was so fast! -

We loved having Becky as our photographer! She was laidback, calm, and ready for anything. We had 4 kids under the age of 8 running around! Right before our ceremony the sky opened up and it started to pour. She did a fantastic job shifting with this unexpected event as we continued to get ready. We are so glad we chose her! -
