We loved having Rasoi caterer our Wedding Ceremony and Reception this past Sundaty, May 3rd. We always love eating at Rasoi II in Edison and since my brother's wedding in 2023, I knew that I wanted to have Rasoi for my wedding (especially for their Paneer Wonton Tacos during cocktail hour! my favorite!) My husband loves the Rasoi food too, not only does it have amazing, delicious taste, but it is also reasonably priced! During our food tastings, one of the drinks we tasted was the Peach Sunrise mocktail and immediantly we knew that, that was the drink we wanted passed around during the ceremony. Rinku was great too work with too, on the day of neither of us nor our families had to worry about the food, Rasoi worked well with Marigold and communicated exactly what they would need. We would defiently recommend Rasoi to anyone looking into an Indian Caterer for their wedding! -

Rasoi Caterers were absolutely phenomenal and helped make our wedding unforgettable. From the very beginning, they were friendly, professional, and genuinely invested in making sure we chose the perfect menu for our event. They guided us thoughtfully through the options and made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free.
The food itself was incredible. We had a diverse spread that included Indian, Indo-Chinese, Italian, and Mexican cuisine, and every single dish was a hit. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about it—multiple people raved to us afterward, and a few friends even joked that we should throw a first-anniversary party just so they could eat that food again.
Everything went off without a hitch, and the execution on the day was flawless. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and would definitely recommend Rasoi Caterers to anyone looking for exceptional food and service. -

Rinku and team did such a great job with our wedding and pre-wedding events, and went above and beyond in every possible way! From the first tasting to the final event, their team was professional and organized. We did most communication with the team 2 weeks out from the wedding minus the tasting scheduling. We had gujarati lunch, live stations, cocktail hour and viennese table. The food was incredible and our guests couldn't stop talking about the flavors, presentation, the live station service, and a stunning Viennese dessert table display! The pricing was also very fair! We are so happy we chose Rasoi - they truly helped make our celebration unforgettable. -

I could not have experienced a better catering service for my reception and a huge shout out to Rinku for making our day special. The food got so many compliments and the dessert extravaganza is still talked about by my family today. We had our reception at Marigold in Somerset, NJ and I so shocked of how Rasoi handled every detail of the service we paid for. Since the beginning Rinku was patient, showed us as many options we would like, guided us in the right direction and executed catering the reception like it was a royal event. I hope they continue to provide this type of class and service because this was the easiest and most caring vendor we've worked with throughout our wedding events!

We asked them if they would cater our event at the Museum of Dance, and it was the best decision we made. Mr Saggar is extremely professional and it was a pleasure to work with him. His catering team drove up 300 miles during an ice storm, and catered at our event. The food was great and the fruit/good carvings and decorations were exceptional. We look forward to catering with them! -

I made the unfortunate mistake of choosing Rasoi as my caterer for my wedding. I had hired Rasoi May 2020 when my guest count was at 400. Due to COVID my guest count was reduced to 250 guests, which Rinku and Saagar knew about 3 months prior to the wedding. When I repeatedly asked them for new contracts to reflect these updated numbers, they said there was no need to do so and they would fix this on their own end, despite me insisting numerous times. I have multiple emails with them stating these new numbers well in advance to my July wedding. I didn't think I had to worry since they said they would take care of it on their end. Two days before my wedding, Rinku and Saagar decided to completely disregard the contracts we had with them and change the prices, stating that they can't honor the previous contract prices due to the reduced count. When asked why they were telling me this 48 hours before my wedding, they had no answer other than the fact that they wanted to ensure I was unable to find another caterer this close to my wedding day. I presented the legal contract and emails to them, however they told us that we would have to pay or they would not cater our wedding. They stopped answer emails, texts and phone calls at one point. The pressure they put on my family was absolutely unnecessary. If anyone is looking to move forward with this caterer, please know that they do not honor their contracts and use coercion as a tactic. -

If you ever think about working with Rasoi for your wedding food catering, then let this be your sign to look elsewhere. Rinku & Rasoi’s catering management team are some of the most unprofessional, horrible people to ever work with. They never gave us a contract for our wedding, stated we would “make it work, don’t worry, don’t worry” and when it came time to our final payments in the 2 weeks before our wedding, they would not answer any phone call, text, or email that I, my husband, and even our wedding planners sent, requesting the final balance. After about the 5th time asking, they emailed back saying they already sent the final balance, but they did not. Finally after 2 more requests for the balance, they sent it ONE DAY before our wedding festivities began. We took a look at it, emailed back saying we received it and would have payment in person at the event. They replied back, acknowledging this. Now fast forward to the wedding day and night. Our planners handed them the final balance in cash and they turned around and said that we did not pay the full amount. They then showed a completely different balance than the one they sent us, and our planners showed them what we received as well as their acknowledgement of it. Rasoi liaison called their main office and came back saying that they made a mistake on their invoice and theirs is the correct one. Rasoi then decided to blackmail us by stating they wanted $7k more or else they would withhold our food for our cocktail hour and reception. Mind you, this is WEDDING NIGHT. Our cocktail hour was about to begin in TWO HOURS when they decided to blackmail us for something that was THEIR mistake. They take zero accountability for their error and will blackmail you to get what they want. My husband was running around stressed and panicked because Rasoi was demanding the money right then and there, from the GROOM who clearly would not have his phone on him, or his wallet, or $7k to just hand over. Our planners managed to get Rasoi to back down and still serve the food while we came to a resolution. One hour later they decided to go back on their word and again threatened to withhold the food. The ONLY reason we were able to get the food served is because my husband was forced to frantically run around and borrow a smaller amount of cash from family, which his best man handed to Rasoi’s liaison. They had the audacity to tell the best man that they would accept the smaller amount because he was “much more calm and cool than the the other guy”. Truly the worst experience and we would not wish this type of undue stress, anxiety, and bullying on any other couple thinking of hiring Rasoi for their wedding. Rinku ruined a good relationship that spanned over a decade with my family. We will never be dining at a Rasoi again and all 300 of our guests have been warned to avoid them as well. They are horrible, abhorrent, evil, bullying, blackmailing, individuals who will not take accountability for something they messed up.
