  Professional Service and Delicious Food

  Food was one of our top priorities on our wedding day. After having our original caterer fall through during the pandemic, Randy Peter's came to the rescue with a team of professional event managers who went above and beyond. They had great communication, were reliable, offered great service and had the friendliest servers. Planning the event remotely, we had not had the chance to try their food until our wedding day but were amazed at the quality and taste they offered. All our guests raved about how delicious everything was. We cannot be more grateful for Randy Peter's catering nor recommend them enough!!

  More than just catering!

  Randy Peters Catering and Event Planning, there is nothing I can say to really do justice to what Kendal and her team at Randy Peters did for us and our wedding. It all started with our first tasting when Kendal asked what we liked and created a flawless menu for us and even took it one step further going to our favorite brewery for a specific beer to make beer can chicken with. Every step of the way through planning, Kendal took care of us and ensured everything was personal to our taste. The food was absolutely delicious, the table place settings were gorgeous, and the team was just always above and beyond making our experience so easy and less-stressful!

  Randy Peters Catering saves the day!

  When the bad weather threatened to put a damper on our outdoor wedding reception Randy Peters Catering stepped it up and saved the day by offering their beautiful event center as an alternative location. Our celebration worked out better than if we had planned it that way in the first place! The staff Including Diane was so attentive and helpful, friendly and went over the top in providing excellent service to both my groom and I and our guests!

  Delicious and affordable

  We worked with Randy Peters with hesitation because we assumed they would be overpriced. We were beyond impressed at our tasting with the quality of the food, the options available, and the top-notch chefs working in a state of the art kitchen that we received a tour of. I have nothing bad to say about our experience with them! They were able to give us an exceptional menu with a delicious variety for our budget. All of our guests raved about the food!

  ALL I CAN SAY IS YUMMY!!! We used randy peters for our catering for our wedding (in addition to the food truck we had) and everything was delicious. People commented that even the salad was amazing! Melissa worked with us and our planner to make the food at our wedding really stand out which was so important to us! Thank you Mel and team!!

  As a planner, I have used Randy Peters Catering and their team for countless clients. They have helped me with small get togethers all the way to super high end large production events, and have been flawless every time! I had the chance to peek into the space prior to their service at a 700+ person event yesterday and got to witness Randy's pep talk to the team. It almost brought tears to my eyes! It was encouraging, thoughtful and rousing, a true testament to the team they have built and their high level of expectation for themselves. I cannot speak more highly of Melissa, she is always responsive and quick to make it happen for my clients- a true team player and major perfectionist. I can take a sigh of relief when I find out my clients have officially booked this team as their caterer. Love them!

  They seriously make the best Mac 'N Cheese!!! We also got chicken cordon blue, caesar salad, grilled vegetables, and tri-tip with their homemade BBQ sauce. Everything had such an amazing flavor. My guests raved about the food. We loved it too! We got a variety of appetizers as well. Their coconut shrimp is killer! The cauliflower bread sticks are surprisingly very delicious as well. The service was amazing. They continuously asked us if we needed anything. They were all so friendly and nice. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Melissa and her team.

  Oh my, so good! Randy Peters was a pleasure to work with. We went in for an initial consult and tasting, and were blown away by the food, and by how personal the service was. Kerry was lovely, and she made sure that our special requests were taken care of. They make a mean Mac n Cheese!

  Not only is Randy Peter's food delicious, but their staff is outstanding. Sarah Banks and Kerry Luna made our day perfect and seamless. I wish every bride could have such amazing help on their big day.

  Randy Peters came to us recommended by our venue. After working with them, I see why. We had planned for a large wedding, about 240 people, feeding that many people was the most expensice budget item. Gina, worked with us on a menu that fit our budget and our personalities. With such a large party we also had quite a few kids attending, they had a seperate kids buffet with tator tots and other kid foods, and it was a big hit! The food was fabulous, and the service was extraordinary!

  Randy Peters came to us recommended by our venue. After working with them, I see why.   Randy Peters has been won for the best cater (KCRA List) in the Sacramento region year after year and there is good reason for that. Our catering manger Kerry was amazing and worked with us and our wedding planner every step of the way. Kerry did everything possible to make the day to flow smoothly. Kerry is a total rockstar!
  
  We are from LA and had a Sacramento wedding. They were able to work with us and let us have a food tasting on a weekend. We are so thankful that they were flexible. They also gave us AMAZING cookies after the food tasting.
  
  We did not want traditional wedding food - we wanted BBQ. BBQ was not on the menu list that they provided us, but they once again were able to make anything we wanted.

  Cocktail Hour
  1. Cheese/Meat Station
  2. Bruschetta and Tapenade Station
  *We heard the stations were yummy, but it ran out very quickly and some guests were disappointed. We had very hungry guests :)
  3. Stuffed Mushrooms - A MUST have. I could have eaten these all night.
  4. Sweet Potato Skewers - Yummy
  5. Bacon Wrapped Shrimp - Everyone loved these
  
  Dinner: Plated (Randy Peters gave the guests very big portions)
  1. BBQ brisket - I hate brisket and Randy Peters made me LOVE it. It was full of flavor and not one piece of fat. Homemade BBQ sauce which is to die for.
  2. Tequila Lime Chicken with Mango Salsa - We got mixed reviews on this. Some people liked it while others thought it lacked flavor and the chicken was tough.
  3. BBQ Baked Beans - Pure amazing. Best baked beans I have ever tasted.
  4. Mac n' cheese - Yummy!
  5. Corn Bread - Moist and perfection.
  6. Salad with pear, glazed walnuts and gorgonzola cheese - Everyone LOVED the salad. The flavors went so well with each other.
  7. Mixed Seasonal Veggies - We got mixed reviews on the seasonal veggies. Some said it lacked flavor, but some thought they were fine. I personally think they were just fine... veggies aren't suppose to have too much flavor of but

  The food for our wedding was very important to us. We tried out several caterers and Randy Peter's was truly the best. They brought a portable kitchen to our wedding location so everything was made fresh and didn't come out like the typical rubbery catered food. They were very accommodating through the process and were willing to find a way to make whatever I wanted work. I had a bit of trouble with the responsiveness/communication of my contact person, which was a frustration. I think they do a lot of corporate catering and when your 100 person wedding is ranked in order of importance next to a 3,000 person function it often felt like my event was less a priority. That said I wanted things nailed down earlier than they probably needed to be and once it got closer to my event (like 2 weeks before), things improved. In the end, I don't regret choosing them. The food was delicious, everyone raved and they handled everything flawlessly the day of.
