    Our wedding was yesterday in Kauai, Hawaii. We flew Tara in from Arizona because there was no one else I trusted with capturing our wedding day more than her. She’s so good with large parties, difficult family members, and keeping everyone organized throughout the day. She’s literally on top of everything! Her photos I know will be gorgeous, as the boudoir session she did for me before the wedding wats absolutely amazing. I’m so happy we brought her to Hawaii to capture this day. She’s amazing.

    Tara is one of the most amazing people to work with and I am so incredibly happy that she was our photographer for our wedding day! From beginning to end Tara was a joy to work with (even when I was not) and capture our day perfectly even when I was not even sure what I wanted. From our initial meeting to the engagement shoots to the wedding, Tara was professional and prompt with all of her work, while still poking fun and me and Joe when we needed it. While her work really speaks for itself, her talents going beyond the print and to her interactions with the client, and the family.

    All of our parents were really happy with the final product, so were all of our friends. She did not just worry about capturing us at our best, but everyone else, and our pup! She was really quick with everything and was almost invisible when she needed to be. She double, triple checked with me before she left for the evening as well, and had our sneak peek up before we went away for our honeymoon that Monday!

    Her choice in secondary photographer was also incredible.

    Thank you so much Tara, this will definitely NOT be the last time I force you to work with me!

    Tara was such a blast to work with. She is genuine, respectful, and has a great sense of humor. I was very picky looking at wedding photographers because after awhile they all look the same to me. Tara's portfolio however was amazing. Her photos are encompassed a soft, candid style with perfect lighting and color. She laid out a timeline for the day of which helped kept the wedding party and family on schedule. I received my sneak peek a day or two after my wedding as was in awe of her work as well as all our friends and family. Tara is so easy-going and loves what she does, I'm so happy to have had her be a part of my wedding. You can all stop reading this review now and just BOOK RALA PHOTOGRAPHY!!! :D

    Tara is a gem in the world of photography. She shot our wedding on May 21st 2016. She was a pleasure to work with, such wit, and such a sense of humor. We had worked with Tara for our engagement shoot, and she was so nice to work with and did not give any pressure.

    The day of our wedding was perfect, Tara first started at our hotel, and then met me and my wife at the venue. She spent the time to ask us what WE wanted. She loved the scenery of our venue and took us around the golf course to shoot photos on a golf cart. She is kind, compassionate and caring. This is the third time we have been around Tara, and if we could give anybody any advice, book Tara.

    Plain and simple, she is awesome....

    Tara was a fantastic photographer. She was dependable, friendly and diplomatic at getting large amounts of people into place so they could be photographed. The guests loved her and she was very unobtrusive throughout the whole event. My wife and I were extremely pleased with the final product too. The pictures were amazing showing a lot of creativity. I would strongly encourage her to anyone looking for a wedding photography. Thank you Tara !

    RaLa Photography was the highlight of my wedding! Aside from marrying my new husband of course! Tara is the only reason that my wedding day/night flowed seamlessly and effortlessly. After all the planning I had done, it was the best gift I could have received to have her take complete control and direct the day's activities. She is the most professional, knowledgeable, experienced professional I dealt with. She truly was instrumental to this day being the best in our lives. And the quality of work! No words to describe how pleased I am. RaLa photography is simply amazing!

    Tara is AMAZING! My husband and I had spoken to several photographers before talking to Tara, and before we even left her studio, we knew that she was the one for us!

    Tara first amazed us with our engagement photos. We expressed to her that we really wanted our photos to include our car that we restored together, and she took it to the next level. She chose the perfect location for our engagement shoot; an old, run down, abandoned building and the surrounding grounds. There is no better backdrop for a restored classic car than an old building. Not only did the car look amazing in the photos, but she captured so many incredible shots of the two of us - both posed and candid, which is exactly what I wanted.

    Leading up to our wedding, I only really had a few photos that were "must haves" for us. I was worried that I had forgotten something and that I wouldn't get that photo if I didn't tell her about it. The day of the wedding, though, there were so many times when she asked me "are there any photos you want me to get?" and it gave me a chance to bring up one that I had thought of that day. I look at the photos that she took of our wedding at least once a day. They are STUNNING. A lot of the pictures honestly look like they came straight out of a bridal magazine. She captured all of the details of the day, which was HUGE for me, and also got excellent shots of the emotion and the fun that everyone was having.

    Tara did a phenomenal job with our wedding photos and I have received so many compliments. Photography was one of the most important aspects of the day for me, and she nailed it. I now have the most beautiful photos to treasure forever. She was professional the whole day and captured all of the great moments without getting "in the way". She was flexible and fun and it never felt like we were "working" for the pictures. I would be more than happy to recommend her - everyone should be as lucky as we were to work with Tara!

    Tara was a pleasure to work with, from the very first consulting meeting all the way through my wedding day. Tara braved the cold not only for our engagement shoot at christmas tree farm (Habiak Farms), but also for our December wedding (Rutgers Gardens picture location). Tara knew how to speak to my crazy groomsmen to get them to pay attention and take a great photo. She posted a sneak peak the day after my wedding and everyone is in compete awe of all of the photos. I cannot wait to see the rest of them! I wish her the best of luck as she opens a second studio in Pheonix, AZ.

    Tara did an excellent job photographing our wedding! She was extremely helpful in planning the timeline of the day, providing me with realistic options to make our day less stressful, but still get the photos we wanted. She always reached out to confirm time/agenda, was fun to spend our wedding day with, and we have received tons of compliments on our photos (which arrived sooner than I expected!).

    Tara at RaLa Photography was an absolute pleasure to work with. She responded quickly through the entire process of planning our wedding day and was able to help with timeline and details immensely. Both the engagement pictures and my wedding pictures are beautiful. She was able to capture sweet family moments and the love between my husband and I, as well as the fun of the reception perfectly.My husband and I both had a very pleasant experience working with Tara throughout the day. She took pictures efficiently and had my entire bridal party to the reception hall in time to make to the entire cocktail hour after our wedding ceremony. Tara made all of the picture taking fun and was able to handle a group of rowdy groomsmen easily. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Tara and RaLa Photography. I will certainly be using her again in the future and continue to recommend her.

    From the moment we met Tara of RaLa Photography, we knew that she was going to do the best work shooting our special day. She made us feel comfortable the instant we walked into her office. She ran through a quick timeline of how our wedding day would unfold. We thought this was really helpful because there were no surprises. She was the only photographer we met with that did this. Tara has a really laid back and calm demeanor. She is really positive and excited about her work. On our wedding day, she did a great job of motivating the wedding party. Her upbeat personality kept everyone laughing and enjoying their time spent in front of the camera. She is really personable. Even my 91 year old grandfather and her hit it off. She did a great job of keeping the huge wedding party together and focused. During the reception, you could hardly tell Tara and her assistant Jaye were there. Tara and Jaye both were able to capture the feeling of the evening through the lens. Our wedding took place in Asbury Park, New Jersey in Berkeley Ocean Front Hotel. It was very important to us to have photographs that gave off a feel of the location that is very special to us. RaLa Photography did just that. We honestly could not have asked for better photographs or nicer people to work with. If you haven't done so already, you should book your wedding photos with them.

    We could not have asked for a better photographer to work with. From the first time we met her, we knew we would be working with her. She made us feel comfortable with both herself and her work at our first meeting. Not only was Tara professional, but she was engaging and full of ideas. We were fortunate to have excellent weather, which was enhanced by both Taras passion for her work and her personality. She was constantly giving us different ideas, and made what was already a wonderful day, even better. My husband and I are thrilled we met Tara and will be recommending her to everyone we know.

    My experience working with Tara was a pleasure from start to finish!
    From our first meeting Tara was very attentive to what our vision was for our big day. She always got back to me very quickly with and questions I had for her.
    On the day of the wedding Tara was very professional and helpful! Of course I was running late and Tara was completely flexible and made sure I had all the shots I had requested. We had a blast shooting our first look and family photos.
    Amazing sneak peak pictures were posted the Monday after our wedding! We received the rest of our pictures very soon after that.
    The quality of the photographs are amazing. Tara truly has a gift in capturing the moment and emotions of the day. My husband and I will treasure these pictures!

    Rala photography and Tara were a hit! Lauren and I got married on June 28th 2013 and we could not be happier that Tara joined us on our special day (lets not forget her sidekick J!) We met someone who loves what they do and makes you excited for your photo shoot and certainly knows her stuff and strives for perfect shots. Tara was so down to earth and fun! She was precise with keeping us up on the time, she was helpful and offered suggestions along the way that not many photographers would do. She did what was best for the bride and groom and succeeded. Her professionalism and services were 5 star! Our photo part of the wedding set the mood for a really fun night. Tara joined in with the fun, kept us loose and did what she does best and took phenomenal pictures. The 20-30 preview pictures we have only received so far are beyond beautiful but it also captures the moments of the night. Random dancing, expressions, partying, socializing and much more. The church pictures came out great! We were in awe with these pictures how nice they came out but we were not surprised. Tara and Ralafoto is a recommended choice for anyone planning a wedding, engagement pictures or even pictures with their babies and families. Tara is truly a great person and an even better photographer. From our wedding, we now have a photographer that we will use throughout our lives with more special occasions in the future. We could not have picked a better person and company to be apart of our special day and keep us at ease through the process knowing we have someone great working with us.     Tara was an amazing photographer. She went out of the way to get creative and unique shots. We used her for our engagement photos and she turned them into a sign in book for us that was really unique. Her photos are fantastic and really captured the special moments of the day. She always works with a partner, which was an added bonus considering her pricing is so reasonable even if it was just her shooting!

    When I thought about someone I wanted for a photographer on my wedding day, I felt like I wanted someone who felt like one of the girls, seeing as a photographer is with you all day long! Tara was a PERFECT fit!! She is so much fun, her work is a little more modern and artsy, but when it came to traditional pics and we were running out of time, Tara was all business. I immediately felt so comfortable with her and was so happy she was part of my day. The process leading up to the wedding was soooo easy, Tara never left me hanging, every email was answered immediately. Every concern was addressed and I never felt that she didn't have things under control. We had several wedding guests comment on how good she was and the best part is she was so reasonably priced!! We loved everything about her and I am so extremely happy with our choice. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

    Every bride wants to be perfect on her wedding day. Perfect hair, perfect dress, perfect shoes--and when you have the perfect photographer to capture it all, your day truly is PERFECT. Tara is the perfect photographer.
    We heard about her from another friend who's getting married in a couple weeks and chose her as well. From the first meeting she made us feel so comfortable with her becasue she's so easy-going, but we could also see from samples of her work that her skill is phenomenal. We scheduled an engagement shoot with her and the whole experience made us so happy we went with her. I was unsure where to have the shoot and she came up with different locations in an area she wasn't 100% familiar with--so I could tell she really researched just for me.
    Every correnspondence we had leading up to the day of was answered swiftly and with any and all info I would need. When it came to the big day she was on time and collected to every location. She made me feel so at ease and taken care of and all of our guests felt the same. The BEST THING about Tara is that she gives teasers on her Facebook like the day after and about a week after even more on her Blog (http://ralafoto.com/blog/).

    After meeting Tara for the first time, we knew instantly that she was the photographer for our wedding. Not only is she personable, but she is committed to making your day feel unique and special as possible. She took into account all of the things we wanted to include in our pictures and seamlessly executed these needs. She took the time to meet with us to plan ahead, responded to emails quickly, and made us feel like we were the most important bride and groom ever. We can't say enough nice things about her.     Tara and her team were excellent and competively priced. Tara is creative, professional and responsive. We love the pictures she took. Many friends who have already gotten married were also blown away by the pictures as well! I would highly recommend her!!
