I cannot speak highly enough about our experience at Ragged Mountain Resort. While the venue itself was beautiful, the venue coordinator Jessica is the person who truly set this experience apart for us. Jessica quite literally gave the shoes off of her feet to my husband’s grandmother when she was struggling to walk in her heels. Not only that, but when this same grandma called the venue to coordinate lodging for the weekend, Jessica stayed on the phone with her for the full day even when his grandma decided to go with an Airbnb and not with one of the cardigan cabins. She’s the most generous person I’ve ever met and made the day feel effortless. From fulfilling every request, including getting a keg of our favorite beer, to quietly handling things behind the scenes, she made everything run seamlessly. Having our wedding in such a beautiful venue, and working with Jessica and the Ragged Mountain staff, set the tone for the whole wedding. A few additional notes: the food was excellent, and we were able to arrange vegan options for our guests. The Ragged Mountain decorations really elevated the space. Keep in mind that the venue doesn’t have air conditioning, and the reception is held upstairs with no elevator. We were fortunate to have mild weather in mid-June and were able to assist guests with mobility limitations, but this is important to consider depending on your needs. -

My husband and I could not recommend this wedding venue enough! From the breathtaking views to the amazing staff, Ragged Mountain was a perfect wedding venue for us. Jessica and her assistant Nolan were the stars of our wedding weekend. The 2 of them were constantly helping us and our guests to make sure our day was perfect. After our wedding we received the most compliments about Jessica and Nolan and how kind and professional they both were. Jessica was extremely helpful throughout the planning process and was always quick to answer my "random question" emails. Nolan was the first to jump up and offer assistance, whether that meant finding a different table for our guestbook, driving our guests to our ceremony, or carrying my husband's grandmothers dinner to her seat (which was a DELICIOUS). Needless to say, we are extremely happy we chose to get married at Ragged Mountain.

Ragged Mountain Resort fulfilled all my expectations and more. Jessica , Nolan and team are an amazing group who truly makes all your needs and dreams come true. From making sure everyone is relaxed and happy to decorations being turned on and ready to go.
We also booked a cabin and decided last minute (the morning of our wedding wanted to book an additional one. Without hesitation they got it ready for us within an hour.
Our family and friends thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful setting, delicious food and the great service that you and your team provided. We received the glowing feedback from our guests and we couldn't be happier.

Rachel, the wedding coordinator, was a perfect match for us: she was funny, insightful, flexible, and kind. She provided tips and suggestions for our ceremony and reception that were perfect. We got married at Ragged last month in October. It was literally PERFECT. Our wedding weekend was everything we imagined and more. The wedding day went off seamlessly. We had postponed our wedding a full year due to the Pandemic and Rachel was so helpful. She answered all our questions and was so understanding. We also live in Colorado and so she really accommodated our needs- to book the venue she facetimed me in with my parents on site! She understood what we wanted out of our day and helped us make it happen. She didn't try and sway us but listened to what we wanted out of our day and it really meant so much to me. Every detail was taken care of, yet I was able to use my DIY skills to really personalize everything. We got married outside at the Meadows and it was stunning in the Fall. The food was a HIT- so so many guests told us how much they enjoyed the food. I have also had so many people tell us it was the best wedding they have ever been to- everything was beautiful and special, we danced the night away and everyone had a great time. We had the fire pit going and guests who were more comfortable outside also had that option which ended up being really nice. The late night food- DO IT. We got RAVE reviews on the late night food- it makes me laugh how much people loved it. Rachel even remembered my husbands concern he wouldn't get cocktail hour apps and brought over a full plate- I had forgotten all about it while we were taking photos but Rachel always had us covered. I cannot thank her and Ragged enough for everything. Our ceremony was beautiful and special, all the logistics went seamlessly, we had delicious food, great ambiance and we had the best time dancing the night away. The barn is really perfect and the vibe was relaxed. I learned to ski at Ragged as a child and to come back and get married here was beyond special. Best Day. -

Ragged Mountain Resort was more than we could've ever dreamed of in a venue. The food was delicious for the rehearsal dinner and the wedding day. Our guests were huge fans of the late night snacks option as well! The ceremony location has impeccable views and really does not need much decorating - our guests still rave about the foliage and mountain views!
Rachel the wedding coordinator was AMAZING to work with. She communicated consistently and made us feel like long-time friends throughout the entire process. She really listened to us and made us aware of all the flexible options available within our budget. She truly made sure everything moved along seamlessly on the day of. We honestly could not be more thankful we chose this venue and were lucky enough to work with Rachel! -

Rachel and the staff at Ragged Mountain Resort made our special day absolutely perfect. The venue is such a reasonable cost. The food was delicious, the communication was spot on and the overall atmosphere of the venue was jaw dropping. We had so much fun staying in the cabins on the mountain with our bridal party. It made the day so much easier with being on site. Everything with the rehearsal, the rehearsal dinner, the cabins, the venue, the reception, access for our DJ for the sound, the bartenders, the wait staff were all wonderful and we don’t have any complaints! -

I can't say enough about how awesome the experience was. We were nervous due to the pandemic and accordingly trimmed our guest list down quite a bit. The venue is amazing and perfect in every way.
All of that said, the team was patient and accommodating to ensure we still have our dream wedding. Specifically, Rachel the wedding coordinator.
I can not praise Rachel enough in helping us through the process and being an amazing resource. Never mind the day of the wedding. She did literally everything so my wife and I had no worries at all. The only feedback I have is that more venues need folks like Rachel. -

Our wedding was an absolute blast! About six months into planning our wedding at Ragged, the wedding coordinator we had been working with left and Rachel jumped in seamlessly. She went above and beyond when things went a little haywire in the change and made sure everything went off without a hitch. She was a breeze to work with and really just took care of everything! The food was absolutely phenomenal, everyone loved their dishes. We wish we could go back and do it all again! -

We could not be happier that we chose Ragged as our wedding venue! My husband and I had originally planned to have a small destination wedding, but my father had an unexpected medical emergency a few months before the wedding that left him unable to fly. We scrapped our original plans and reached out to Ragged to see if they had any availability for a summer wedding. They happened to have one Saturday left so we quickly put down a deposit and got to work essentially planning from scratch.
COORDINATOR: Rachel was amazing and helped us plan the wedding of our dreams in just three months! She helped us feel so at ease from day one. We felt like we could always reach out with any questions we had.
CEREMONY: We chose the meadow as our ceremony site and are so happy that we did! The views of the mountain were stunning and everyone loved the golf carts that the groomsmen used to assist guests to the ceremony site.
COCKTAIL HOUR: We took advantage of the option to have lawn games which provided a fun activity for guests. We also did the brewery tasting with the Flying Goose and are so glad that we did! This was such a unique feature that our guests loved.
RECEPTION: The lodge was the perfect reception space for our rustic wedding theme and the food was delicious. The firepit on the patio and the late night appetizers were also a huge hit!
LODGING: We booked the cabins, the New Hampshire Mountain Inn, and the Red Barn Inn for our guests. There is a shuttle service can be utilized for guests at the cabins and the New Hampshire Mountain Inn. We stayed in the cabins with the rest of our wedding party and had a BLAST. This was the perfect way to start the celebration upon arrival on Friday and keep it going until check-out on Sunday. It was also a great place for the bridal party to get ready and made for some beautiful getting-ready photos.
We are so thrilled with the whole experience and would absolutely recommend having a wedding here!

Rachel and her team were amazing. They helped make our day absolutely perfect. She was friendly, personable and so willing to help. She was very responsive via text. Wonderful Wedding Weekend
A fabulous weekend with Rachel and the staff at Ragged handling everything! As Mother of the Bride I was able to focus on my daughter and not the details! The food was great and all the staff was so friendly, helpful and professional. I highly recommend Ragged as a wedding venue and Rachel as a wedding coordinator- we couldn’t have asked for a better weekend! -

Our wedding at Ragged mountain was beautiful and so much fun. Our coordinator Meghan was with us from the beginning through our big day and we are so grateful for all of her assistance. We did get to work with Rachel towards the end of our planning and through our wedding and she was getting right into the swing of things!
Ragged accommodated all of our special requests from vegan meals to ordering a special bottle of bourbon for us.
All of the food was amazing, both at our rehearsal dinner as well as our wedding night. Meghan the bartender was fantastic as well and we were able to arrange for her to continue serving bar at our after party at the New Hampshire Mountain Inn. -
Phoebe Sent on 08/28/2018Meghan Welte and the rest of the team at Ragged were absolutely amazing. Our wedding was the epitome perfection. They were incredibly accommodating for food allergies that myself and some of our other guests have. The food was so delicious - highest praise to the chef! A lot of times, wedding food may be a little dry, given the quantity they are cooking, but this wasn't the case at all! The chicken piccata was soooo good and could be easily made gluten free and our guests LOVED the season ravioli. The ceremony and reception sites were gorgeous. The dance floor was packed all night too!
We were able to fit within our budget at Ragged as well. The best day ever! -

Marissa Sent on 07/12/2016Our daughter was married on June 18th at the meadows. It was more beautiful then I could have ever imagined. The ceremony site was beautiful and Emma was so well organized. The reception at the barn was just as beautiful. We had 140 guests and the barn was very spacious for dinner and dancing. The food was fresh and delicious and dinner was served timely. It was a pleasure dealing with Emma and chef Justin; they went over and above to make our daughter's day special. I just cannot say enough! There is not one thing I can come up with that could have/should have been different. We also rented the Inn for the bridal party and family; it was a perfect place to gather and while the girls were all getting prepared before the wedding, the guys hung out on the grounds and played yard games. The inn keeper, Patrick was so accommodating to our wishes/needs. The breakfast he prepared was delicious and the rooms were very comfortable and clean. Again, I could go on and on about how wonderful it all was! We are so glad we used Ragged Mountain for our daughter's special day!Ragged Mountain Resort's reply:

My husband and I got married at Ragged Mountain Resort in June of 2021. Not only was the venue absolutely stunning (we barely had to decorate because the landscape was already so gorgeous) and the food delicious (even our guests with dietary restrictions were saying how good it was), but Rachel was a dream to work with. She was so helpful and accommodating throughout the whole process, which for us was rather quick. I’ve heard so many horror stories of coordinators who ruined the wedding planning process and the day itself but Rachel and her staff were so friendly, helpful, and our wedding day was an absolute breeze because of it. I really can’t say enough good things about how great our experience was. Ragged was originally out of our price range (the $5,000 food minimum is a bit of a bummer), but Rachel helped us find a package that worked for our budget, and I’m so grateful we didn’t discount Ragged upon our first few emails. I could not have pictured our big day anywhere else!

I always wanted to have a wedding that involves outdoor, mountain and traditional barn feeling. Ragged mountain has everything that I want, I fell in love the first sight while I saw their meadows picture! Luckily the weather was good enough for us to held the outdoor wedding. Other than food, Meghan the co-ordinator and Rachel the new co-ordinator they are really professional before and during the wedding day and very responsive. Food was decent but suggest to get plated meal than buffet (like us) as it looks nicer too :) Our guests and we had a great day over there! Also, don't forget about their inn, it's 18th century New England style and we reserved the entire inn for the wedding weekends. That was probably one of the best decision we made as to the whole inn are belong to the people we know and you can walk around and chat with everyone, there is no awkward moment that you might bump into a complete stranger. Our guests said they are willing to come back just for the inn! Breakfast and the outside lake view of the inn are really nice too! -
