  Wonderful!

  I had been in the wedding business and worked with Raffel's for years before it was time for my daughter's wedding. There was no question as to who we were going to choose for our caterer! Raffles delivers undeniably great food and are so easy to work with. Maggie guided us through the whole process and was there for us from start to finish. Nikki was there the day of and we couldn't have survived with out either of them. Maggie supplied brunch for the whole wedding party that morning, helped deliver sandwiches to my son-in-law's PD so those on duty wouldn't miss out plus having donuts ready to go at the end of the evening! Thank you Raffels for a magical day!

  I used Raffel's Catering for my August 2010 wedding. My wedding was on a Sunday afternoon and Raffel's was perfect for the occasion. We had a heavy hors d'ouevres menu that was plenty for my 150 guests with whole pans left over! The food was fresh and colorful, exactly what I wanted. I worked with Nicki Raffel and she was awesome. Always responsive to me and replied to my emails almost instantly. Even when I changed the quantities of my menu items 10 times she was always gracious about it and understood a bride's needs. I have recommended Raffel's to other brides and even used them for my company dinner party! Great value for the cost.

  I had a cookout for my wedding and got exactly what I wanted. Raffel's was very friendly and kept me on schedule with my wedding planning. They called me when they needed to finalize the menu and when they needed the final guest count. I had enough planning going on so this was a BIG help. They were on time with the dinner and it was delicious. Everyone loved the food and there was even a vegetarian option for some guests. I would suggest Raffel's Catering to ANYONE and EVERYONE! They are a lot cheaper than Vohndarhaars too.

  Raffels was amazing! We had an almost completely vegetarian buffet and everyone loved it. I was really hard to find someone with good different vegetarian options that wasn't try to charge an arm and a leg b/c it was more 'groumet'. I got multiple compliments that this was the best wedding food people had ever had from vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Even the server had the event said it was the best food they have ever served! The food was even better than our tasting and was even awesome as leftovers the next day with family. We were so happy and the price couldn't be beat!

  Raffels' was great, they let us change all we wanted to with the menu, and gave us more options than we even needed. Anita was our planner and she was a dream. She was a calming presence in the chaos, and did everything just as i asked her to. Our only complaint was that one of the staff was short with my mom at the recetion. Otherwise it was flawless.
  
  Our friends and family really like to eat, and there was a TON of food, everyone ate to their fill and we still had tons leftover. i highly recomend Raffel's

  Raffel's Catering did a wonderful job. The food was outstanding and the service very professional. They were able to have the reception hall open for the time that we need to get in. We had an open bar, and the selection and amount they provided was wonderful. Our guests were able to get the drink they wanted. I would definetly recommend them!!

  They provided delicious food and worked efficiently on our wedding day. Many guests commented that they loved the food. Packed up and saved remaining meal for us. Even cut and served our wedding cake. They provided everything we needed to have a smooth and carefree dinner.

  The food was delicious when we tested what we wanted to have, however the day of the wedding it wasn't quite up to what we thought it would be. For example the rolls, were slightly hard like they had been sitting out all day long. But overall everyone had a great time, the place looked awesome, and since they did everything, we just had to set up the personal decorations that we wanted and take those down but they did everything else which was awesome!

  Raffel's Catering did an okay job. The day-of service was great, but the organization and planning of the staff was a little disappointing. Pros: The food was delicious, and we got lots of good feedback about the quality and variety of the food offered. The staff did a great job at packaging up the leftover buffet food at the end of the night for us to take home. The staff also did a good job busing tables and watching our ice and beverage station to ensure that it was being replenished. The staff on-site that day did a fantastic job. Also, the linens were included in the package we purchased which helped with our tight budget. Cons: Raffel's forgot to bring any of the gluten-free meals we ordered. My husband's family has Celiac's disease, so they were very hungry and disappointed. Additionally, Raffel's did not confirm the final headcount with us before ordering the food, which meant we had to pay for an extra 20+ meals. (thankfully, we got to take the meals home.. but we are still eating those leftovers 2 months later).

  This is a great company, they are just so nice. But the food, which is most important, was not great. At all. Many of our guests agreed.

  I used Raffel’s Catering to cater a client breakfast event for my company. First the delivery was done by a woman with rainbow hair, which I tried to let go. However, the presentation of the food was not better than the presentation of the staff. I will say she was pleasant though as well.
  I was under the impression that there was going to be actual linen tablecloths, not paper. I was hoping for a better quality of paper products as well, as this was a corporate event for our clients, not a picnic outside (the utensils were served in red and white fry baskets). The serving products (plates, cups, etc.) were the cheapest products that Kroger sells and the serving utensils did not match in color (some were clear, black and silver). The woman literally wrote with pen on the tablecloth to indicate the bread choices (printing a label too hard?).The food was okay, not high in quality at all. The biscuits were just frozen and heated up. The eggs with cheese were okay. The potatoes, like the biscuits, were again frozen and heated up. The sausage appeared to be microwavable Kroger brand turkey sausage. The bread was just loafs of premade blueberry, cherry and banana walnut breads (nothing special, definitely not freshly made and was store bought).
  The orange juice was a gallon jug from Kroger and was Kroger brand and was dropped on the pavement I suppose as it had black skid marks all over it, at least put it into a nice serving container, jeez! The coffee arrived in a container that reminded me of a camping trip, not a corporate function for sure. I was under the impression the coffee would arrive in a nice silver urn. A few people told me the coffee tasted terrible as well, so I ended up making our own coffee (Starbucks) to serve.
  Overall, I was embarrassed by the presentation of the food and the quality as it was a direct reflection on myself. The cost was WAY overpriced for the quality of the food and the presentation.

  This cater I was very dissapointed in. I contacted them for a quote and a tasting. Maggie was wonderful she was very responsive and I received my quote in a very timely fashion I was very excited to go for a tasting. It was when we arrived for the tasting that everything went downhill. Maggies assistant was not only rude but didn't seem at all interested in catering an "off site wedding of 60 people" apparently that number of people is not worth her time. The food for the tasting was very bad. It came out on paper plates was extreamly over cooked and looked and tasted terrible. I would consider purchasing your appetizers from Sam's club they would be a better quality then what we were presented with. I would not recomend this cater for any reception.
