We would not change one thing about our wedding held at the Radisson! Felicity and the entire staff at the Radisson was a pleasure to work with for our wedding. From start to finish planning was professional, stress free, and fun. Felicity was super responsive and resourceful. She helped coordinate, plan, and execute every detail and our wedding day was absolutely perfect. We cant thank her and the entire staff enough it meant the world to us!

Absolutely magical
The Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel was definitely one of the most magical parts of our wedding. Everything, from the staff, to the location, to the beauty of the facility, to the FOOD (holy God it was good) was absolutely perfect. I felt so confident and so relaxed knowing that everything was taken care of with the Radisson staff. Felicity, in particular, the wedding rep, was absolutely stellar in every aspect of her performance. I wish I could be friends with her outside of the wedding because she was just SO kind!! Even months after our wedding, my guests are still telling me how wonderful the reception was and how wonderful the staff all was! Absolutely nothing went wrong with this team taking care of it all -- which I was so grateful for. I really cannot say enough great things about this place. If you're considering having your wedding there, you will not regret it.

Dream wedding at the radisson!
We are so happy that we had our wedding at the Radisson. They helped our vision come to life and the ballroom was absolutely stunning. Felicity was a huge help in the process! She was so responsive and really listened to what we wanted and helped create the perfect layout. We had a huge wedding and the space was laid out perfectly and it did not feel cramped at all. There was barely any lines at the bars for cocktail hour or the reception. Definitely recommend hosting your dream wedding at the Radisson. Also, Trax is the perfect spot for the after party! Radisson truly has it all!

My dream wedding at the Radisson
My husband and I got married at the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel on June 25th, 2022. From the moment we walked into the building on our initial tour, we knew that we wanted to be married at this gorgeous location. We decided to have our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception on site, and we had the pleasure of working alongside Wedding Specialist, Felicity. Our entire wedding process was not only smooth, but FUN. Felicity is extremely organized, creative, friendly, and great with communication. She answered all of our questions along the way, and helped us to stay on track with the wedding planning timeline. My husband and I were able to add our own special touches to the wedding and make decisions about both large and small details. Hosting your wedding at the Radisson truly is a personalized experience. I honestly felt NO stress on the day of the wedding as Felicity and her team handled all of the logistics. I am extremely grateful that I was able to truly enjoy every moment of my wedding day - from getting ready all the way through the reception - all thanks to the incredible work of Felicity and her team. The guests at my wedding had a wonderful time, and loved the fact that they could stay at the Radisson on the night of the wedding. We even continued the party at the Trax Bar in the lobby after the reception had ended. I had such a positive wedding planning experience and an amazing wedding day that I would sincerely recommend the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel to anyone planning a wedding or special event.

We loved our wedding and planning experience with the Radisson!
aving grown up in Scranton, I was certain before checking out venues that I did not want to use one of the hotels. Then, the Radisson was only the second venue we visited and we absolutely fell in love! It’s hard to compete with the beauty and uniqueness of the lobby area (where we had our cocktail hour, but where you are also able to have your ceremony)! In addition to that, we loved the convenience of having everything in one place, (including Trax for an after party which felt more fun than a typical hotel bar) as well as the central location in downtown Scranton making it easier for our guests to fill their downtime. Finally, we were so grateful to the wedding coordinator, Felicity! She was incredibly helpful in the planning process, super attentive and prompt with responding to questions and made sure every detail was taken care of on the wedding day. Not every venue comes with a built in wedding coordinator so this felt like an extra great perk! Overall we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this venue for a Scranton wedding!

Every detail was perfect
The Radisson Lackawanna station hotel was the perfect venue for our winter wedding. We used three different spaces for the events of the day and everything was perfect. The communication was impeccable, both between the coordinator and I and between the coordinator and her team (And I did most of the planning myself so I had many detailed questions and often). The flow of the day was seamless and all the personal details we added were incorporated perfectly. The food was outstanding, our guests gave many compliments to the chef. There was not one moment of the day were I was focused on anything other than being married and celebrating with our loved ones and I know that’s because of the amazing staff that was with us that day.

The Radisson was the most beautiful location. All of the staff especially the wedding coordinators and general manager were amazing to work with. Everyone did an amazing job brining our reception details to life and made for the perfect day. All staff was friendly and helpful. Working with the wedding coordinator Felicity was so easy, like working with a friend. She made herself available to us whenever we needed her and always answered our questions and solved our problems. She was wonderful! The entire day was perfect and exactly what we wanted with the help from the Radisson. Thank you to everyone who made the day so special and perfect!

Perfect Christmas Venue!
The Lackawanna Station Hotel was the perfect venue for our small Christmas wedding. The lobby decorations were beautiful and made the perfect backdrop for our cocktail hour. Our reception was in the Platform Lounge and fit our vibe and aesthetic perfectly. Everything was set up exactly as we had discussed. Felicity and Abbey were both wonderful to work with during the planning process. They were responsive to e-mails and very accommodating to our ideas. Even though we had a very small wedding, they still paid great attention to detail and made us feel very special on our wedding day. We received so many compliments from our guests both on the food as well as the decor and beauty of the venue.

I had my dream wedding at the Radisson!! Planning a wedding during COVID was not always easy, but the entire time Felicity (the Radisson’s wedding coordinator) helped me every step of the way! She helped me have the best wedding ever. She is incredibly well organized, helpful and friendly. The wedding itself was amazing. Beautiful venue, delicious food, and friendly staff. I couldn’t imagine having my wedding anywhere else. I will forever recommend the Radisson with 5 stars!!!!!

Me and my husband fell in love with the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel from the moment we stepped into it back in 2019. We wanted a venue that could accommodate 150 guest comfortably for ceremony and reception. We also wanted a venue where guest can stay overnight to make it easier on our guests.
We booked the venue and we're so excited to to get married in 2020. Unfortunately, the pandemic hit and messed all our plans but the staff from the Radisson were so understanding and worked with us to make our wedding dreams come true. Even if it meant postponing the wedding twice.
Fast-forward to 2021, we scheduled our wedding for October 9, 2021. Two wedding specialist later we were put into contact with Abbey Merkel (Director of Sales) and Felicity Rudden (Sales Wedding Specialist). I can't express how grateful I was to be connected with Abbey and Felicity.
Abbey and Felicity were so helpful making sure every detail we wanted for the wedding was accomodated.
Our wedding was absolutely perfect!! I didn't have to do much besides provide the signs, decorations, flowers and little touches I wanted and Felicity and her staff were able to put everything together and make everything look amazing.
To the ladies that checked our guests in, cleaning crew, bartenders, waiters and everyone that works at the Radisson we were so impressed with the service we were provided. All of our wedding guest were well taken care off and we are so grateful to the Radisson crew.❤️

The Radisson was an incredible venue to have our wedding. Our coordinator, Felicity, was organized and communicative. She took care of everything for us and made wedding planning much easier, especially since we live in California and got married in Pennsylvania. Simply Amazing!
We held our wedding at the Radisson over a year ago, and we are still receiving compliments on the reception! From the amazing food and drinks, to beautiful architecture and decor, every detail exceeded our expectations. After touring multiple venues in NEPA, we felt completely at home and at ease with the environment at the Radisson. Simply put, as far as the venue itself goes, we couldn’t be happier.
Of course, our review wouldn't be complete without acknowledging the amazing staff, bartenders, and servers that contributed to our special day. They exceeded everyone’s expectations in order to create a fantastic experience for all. Amanda DiPierro, Wedding Specialist at the Radisson, was exceptional! She was the glue that held our reception together. We planned our hometown wedding from afar with ease, thanks to her. She accommodated our schedules, our requests, and our preferences. While Amanda was amazing during the planning process, she continued to out-perform herself the night of our event as well. She even went above and beyond to correct issues that arose from some of our other vendors that evening too. Amanda’s commitment to excellence ensured that our night was perfect for us and all of our guests. We cannot recommend her or the Radisson enough!

A perfect night!
My husband Jack and I held our wedding reception at the Radisson in early December and everything was PERFECT. From the very beginning the planning was a breeze. The wedding coordinator Amanda is amazing at what she does and she is just as excited as you are for your big day. She answered all our questions quickly and reassured us many times during the planning process. She made sure everything went smoothly the day of so we did not have to worry about anything. All our guests repeatedly told us how good the food was. The staff at the Radisson is extremely attentive. Luis and Mary are phenomenal, JR, Eli were all extremely helpful. They brought us drinks and hors d'ouevres so we got to enjoy everything while greeting all our guests. The staff that helped with our breakfast the next morning was extremely accomodating. I cannot recommend the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel enough, they helped give us some memories we will never forget.

Totally Amazing!!
I loved the Radisson before I even went there for a tour. Once we toured the Radisson, I loved it even more. Amanda was amazing to work with. I sent her a million questions and she was always very helpful. She made sure to make everything as we envisioned. We live 4 hours away, but she was always able to meet with us when we were available. I also had really wanted fried raviolis as a passed hor-d'oeuvre for my wedding and they made it happen even though it wasn't on their standard menu. They went above and beyond to make sure made my wedding was absolutely perfect! I couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue.

11/16/2019-Best Day Ever!!
Our wedding at the Radisson was perfect! The venue itself was amazing and especially great for us because we had so many out of town guests. The ceremony and cocktail hour were both held in the lobby, which has vaulted ceilings and amazing detail in the architecture, and the ballrooms that held the reception were beautiful. It was great because our guests didn't have to worry about travel during the events of our big day! The best part of choosing the Radisson, though, is having access to their amazing wedding coordinator, Amanda! She walked us through every step leading up to the wedding and was very informative while keeping us calm and relaxed the whole time! She was on top of everything before and during the day of and everything went smoothly :) Thank you so much to the Radisson, their staff, who accommodated us and our guests the day of, and especially Amanda!!

We cannot begin to describe how perfect our wedding day was at the Radisson Lackawanna Station! Amanda was AMAZING and helped to make our planning process an easy one from start to finish. She made us feel at ease every step of the way and was very attentive to all of our questions. After every meeting with her we felt more and more confident that we had made the right decision. She really took any and all stress out of the way. The Radisson is a gorgeous venue with a wonderful staff. We did not get married on site, but we held our rehearsal dinner in the Platform Lounge and reception in the ballroom. The food and service was excellent! The majority of our guests were from out of town and we continue to hear wonderful reviews regarding the food, service and hotel accommodations. Every single staff member we came in contact with was wonderful and friendly. We can confidently recommend the Radisson Lackawanna Station to anyone planning a wedding! From my first meeting with Amanda, I knew this would be the place that would make my dreams come true & they did not fall short! Amanda helped make the planning process a breeze. Radisson Lackawanna Station
It’s hard to put into words how amazing our wedding was at the Radisson Lackawanna Station. As soon as I walked into the venue, I knew my wedding had to be held there. The beautiful and unique building allowed us to have a wedding that was not a “hotel” wedding. Our guests commented numerous times about the space and the professionalism of the staff.
Amanda was a godsend with planning our wedding. I can say I had almost zero stress because she walked me through what I needed to do to plan a wedding. The day was so smooth because she made it that way.
The food was not typical wedding food. People commented on the variety and quality of the food. The service was amazing from all staff.
I would recommend having a wedding at the Radisson Lackawanna Station hotel to anyone planning their big day.

I recently got married at the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel and I can honestly say it was the most incredible experience. From the start of planning, Amanda D. was so helpful and accommodating in the process of choosing all of the fine details. She was always available to answer a quick question and she never even batted an eye when we made last minute changes. She even set us up with a musician when our original plan fell through (with not a lot of time to spare). Amanda is a truly a lifesaver!! When it came to the big day, everything went off without a hitch. Amanda and Mary continuously checked on me while getting ready and they both even made sure that I got to eat the amazing food during the busy day. We got married in the atrium and it was stunning! The amazing staff even made sure there were no random people wandering into the ceremony (since it is the lobby). We had brunch in the ballroom and the space was set up so beautifully and it honestly exceeded the expectations that I had. The bartenders and staff that helped with brunch were so friendly and accommodating to our guests. Also, the food was delicious and all of our guests were very pleased. Overall it was an amazing experience to get married at the Radisson, I highly recommend this venue for any couple looking to get married in Scranton.

I had my ceremony and reception at the Radisson. Let me tell you, wedding planning was in no way shape or form stress free or easy. However, Amanda DiPierro from The Radisson made it easy and so much less stressful!
Let me start of first by saying the venue/hotel itself is gorgeous inside and out. It’s a perfect place for a wedding no matter the season. You can get amazing pictures outside the hotel, in the surrounding area, as well as indoors.
The food? Bomb. All of my guests could not rave enough about the food. Amanda was very accommodating, from allergies to providing vegan/vegetarian options. One of my guests is allergic to more than 5 major food items and they accommodated her needs no problem!
Everyone loved the drinks/bars and the prices were very reasonable.
The staff were absolutely amazing, helpful, nice and really tended to all guests. Me and my husband were running around and the staff made sure we were able to get our meal. They even wrapped it up and stored it in the fridge of our overnight room (which is provided in the wedding package—so cool).
The place was well kept and super clean.
Any last minute issues we ran into, Amanda made sure to be on top of EVERYTHING. She made sure nothing was out of place and everything was handled smoothly.
Mary helps out with the ceremony, making sure the bridal party is prepared and fully ready. She’s the sweetest little thing! And super on top of things, making sure everyone understands their place and that mistakes are covered up no problem!
Overall, I had an excellent experience and fully recommended The Radisson in Scranton, PA to everyone! Could not rave more about it!!

Magical and truly amazing wedding venue!
My husband and I got married back in May at the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel in Scranton and could not have dreamed of a more perfect location, atmosphere and staff. From the first time we stepped into the grand foyer, we were taken away by how beautiful and historic the venue was. We both felt that the price was worth the investment and that everything was so easy to customize based on our needs. It was defiantly a stress relief knowing that we didn’t have to pay for those things we didn’t want or go without something that we did. Each step in the planning process was well organized, communicated and broken down into manageable sections that were easy to complete or modify as we went.
Throughout all the planning meetings, email, calls and drop-in’s, the coordinator was a godsend and truly took care of everything. She not only coordinated with the vendors, kept us on track, answered every question imaginable, she was there for support, laughter and guidance from start-to-finish. Our outside vendors all complemented the staff for being so easy to work with and friendly.
The food and chef were 5-star in my book. As someone with dietary restrictions, I felt completely confident that he took the time and attention to make sure that every ingredient that went into our meals was perfect. Our guests raved about the quality and amount of food that they received and were pleasantly surprised with it not being the traditional “wedding chicken” they’ve eaten at weddings past.
The staff throughout the entire weekend went above and beyond to make us and our guests feel welcomed and pampered, often stopping to ask if there was anything they could do to help and offering coffee.
The rooms and accommodations could not have been any more accommodating. The bridal suite provided the perfect setup and amount of space for everyone to get ready and photographed beautifully! There was no hallway, stairwell or space outside that was not accessible to us and our photographer. Even prior to our weeding, we were invited to take a tour with our photographer to capture the spaces and views the venue has to offer. Truly breathtaking! Our guests are still talking about how stunning the venue was and marveling over our pictures!
We could not imagine going anywhere else for our special day and cannot thank their staff enough for their accommodations and hospitality that made our day so magical.

Absolutely incredible!
My husband and I had the most incredible experience working with Amanda and the Radisson crew! Our reception was more beautiful and amazing than we ever could have imagined or hoped for. Amanda is an AMAZING wedding coordinator, who loves her job and those she works with. She is there to help you with anything and everything - every step of the way. We couldn’t feel any more lucky to have had the opportunity to have her along our wedding planning journey. Along with Amanda, the entire staff throughout our entire reception were INCREDIBLE. From the bartenders, to the servers, to those who are always there to make sure you have eaten or have a drink in your hand. What an amazing crew, and an amazing venue. I had my wedding at the Radisson in July of 2019. I cannot say enough about how amazing the experience was from beginning to end. Amanda, the wedding coordinator, was spectacular in every aspect, no question was too small or too silly to ask. It almost felt as if we were her only wedding! The level of service we received not only on the wedding day, but throughout the entire process was incredible. Amazing wedding at the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel- can't recommend enough!
From the moment my partner and I walked into the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel Scranton, we knew it was the wedding venue we’d wanted. The grandeur of the of lobby, the rich history and timeless elegance of the venue were undeniable. We also loved the fact that our wedding guest were able to stay the venue which was so convenient and gave us as much time as possible with all our guest as a number had flown in from overseas and interstate. There was a change of wedding coordinators at the Radisson about six months after we signed our contract. At first I was a bit worried, but then I started corresponding with Amanda and instantly was put at ease. From the moment she came on board until the wedding day (and even after!) she was on top of every detail and made sure our wedding day went off without a hitch. Mary was also absolutely lovely and just the sweetest and made sure my groom and I were well looked after during the entire reception and at breakfast the next morning. We received SO many compliments from our guest at how beautiful the venue was and how kind and responsive all the staff were. We had our welcome drinks in the Trax Bar the night before the wedding and then our cocktail hour in the Grand Lobby, reception in the Ballroom and wedding brunch on Sunday morning in the Platform lounge. Every moment of the wedding weekend was just fantastic. I cannot say enough great things about the Radisson and the staff, most especially Amanda- no question was too silly or task too much to ask of her- she was on top of every detail!

There are no words to describe the AMAZING work that they do at the Radisson. Amanda is a dream to work with and takes care of anything and everything you can imagine to make your wedding day exactly that, YOUR day. She is assisted by the BEST staff I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Every last staff member was beyond helpful and willing to go the extra mile for a guest request. Best Venue Ever!
We could not have asked for a better venue. I am from Scranton, but live in Orlando now and they accommodated me in every way imaginable. Amanda, Mary, and the serving staff were amazing and so genuine. We didn't have to go to the bar once because they kept replacing our drinks! Amanda suggested so many other vendors and they were amazing too! She made this experience run so smooth! The food was outstanding and they literally made our dreams come true! The historical aspect was absolutely beautiful. Book them!!! You won't regret it!

A Dream Come True
The Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel was the perfect place for our dream wedding. Amanda was amazing to work with. She made every part of the planning process effortless. The cocktail hour in the lobby was gorgeous. The ballroom for the reception looked like something out of a dream. The food was delicious! Amanda even helped us plan an after party that surprised all our guests as well as a late night snack of Philly cheesesteaks. All our guests had a blast and said it was the best wedding they have ever been to. We had very high expectations and the Radisson and Amanda far exceeded them!!! Thank you for a day we will never forget!

Wedding Reception, After Party and next-day Brunch.
This was the first wedding (oldest daughter) of my three children. We were treated like VIP’s and given time and attention as though ours was the only event planned for weeks.
Of note was the service from Amanda who was professional, organized and thorough. She is also a joy to work with. Her work conveyed confidence that gave my wife, daughter, and I a measure of comfort and peace that allowed us to be more relaxed and enjoy both the planning phase and especially the events themselves.
Radisson and Amanda helped my daughter understand and weigh options for the spectrum of potential aspects. They often gave my daughter latitude to work our own ideas or requests into the events.
That attitude permeated through the staff who, to a person, were consistently friendly and accommodating.
Factoring the cost for the services, the thoroughness, and the overall pleasant experience... someone would have to show me how you can do better than the Radisson.

Fantastic Venue
From day 1 of wedding planning, I knew I wanted the reception and hotel at the same location. I also knew that, even though I’m from Maryland, my family is mostly in Scranton/Avoca, so I was going to have my wedding in the area. My parents had their reception at the Lackawanna Radisson back in the 80s, so I decided to check it out. It was PERFECT!!! Everyone was super friendly from the beginning and, on the big day, we felt like royalty. All of our guests noted the incredible service they received from checking in to cocktail hour to the reception to the after party. It was SO NICE being surrounded by helpful, happy people on such an eventful evening!
The food.... absolutely delicious. My only regret was not eating more! We received so many compliments on the food from our guests. It did not taste like typical wedding food. It was more like eating at a fancy restaurant. Everything came out on time and nobody left hungry.
Amanda DiPierro. I would be lost without her. I still can’t believe how lucky we were to have such an organized, driven, on-top-of-it-all planner. She was extremely responsive from the beginning and never missed an email or call throughout the planning process (and I had a lot of questions all the time). On the day of, I felt so at ease because I knew she was there, triaging any problem that may have come up so that I didn’t get stressed. I’m sure I don’t even know half of what she dealt with on the big day. She transitioned from interacting with me (the bride), families, vendors, guests, staff, etc. with such ease and professionalism. There are not enough words to thank Amanda for everything she did.
If you’re planning a wedding at the Radisson, you will not be let down and I hope you get to work with Amanda!

Excellent wedding experience
My husband and I had our wedding at the Radisson in May, 2019. As soon as we got engaged, I knew right away that I wanted to look at the Radisson for our venue. Once I walked through the front doors, I fell in love with how beautiful the lobby was! When I left my initial meeting, I cancelled all other venue appointments I had. The Radisson had everything we were looking for and the staff was so welcoming and professional. The wedding specialist, Amanda, was fantastic to work with. Whenever I had a question or concern, she was always prompt to answer and help with everything! She made the planning process smoother than I ever could have imagined. I never felt stressed or overwhelmed since she was so organized and attentive. On the day of the wedding, she was always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, and most importantly, made sure my husband and I took time to actually eat at cocktail hour! We had the ceremony in the lobby and Amanda and Mary worked together to make sure the timing of everything was perfect. The entire staff at the Radisson was exceptional and made our wedding day so special. Words can’t describe how happy we are with how everything turned out!

Would absolutely recommend the Radisson. The wedding coordinator and entire staff made sure our night was exactly what we wanted it to be. The food is outstanding and there's a large selection! Beautiful Venue, Great Staff
We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Radisson in April 2019 and could not be happier with the entire experience. We are not local to the Scranton area, so we also held our rehearsal dinner and an after-wedding brunch there as well. Everything was just perfectly done.
Amanda, Mary, and the entire staff were exceedingly nice and helpful. We felt completely taken care of and everyone who works there seemed genuinely happy for us. In addition to the wonderful staff, the building itself is gorgeous and makes for the most amazing pictures. The food is also excellent- all of our guests raved about their meals.
We highly recommend the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel if you are looking to get married in this area or want a historical building to get married in. We wanted the latter, and are thrilled that we made Scranton the place for our "destination" wedding.

A magical experience!
I have always loved the Radisson. I think it is absolutely beautiful and I enjoy the history behind it. I have been to birthdays, anniversary parties, and brunch there. It was my dream since I was a teenager to have my wedding here. Funny enough, my wedding was the first wedding I attended at the Radisson. It did not disappoint! My day was wonderful, went exactly as planned, and everyone who attended enjoyed the food. I even was able to have a special meal for my dinner. Very accommodating. There was a tiny hiccup at one point of the reception, but Amanda, the wedding coordinator, fixed it immediately. All she had to do was see the look on my face! I loved the feeling that the staff would bend over backwards to make me happy. I had everything I wanted on my special day. We were given a jacuzzi suite for our wedding night. (It was nice to soak after a long day!) The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I also had my Bridal Shower here, which was equally as excellent. I highly recommend! If I had to do my wedding again, I would still choose the Radisson. Every single time.

Amazing venue & coordinator
My husband and I got married at the Radisson Lackawanna Station on January 12, 2019. Our wedding turned out better than I ever could have imagined. For starters, the venue is beautiful. If you want a unique venue with history, Radisson is the place to get married. Our ceremony and cocktail reception both took place in the lobby/atrium, with our reception taking place down the hall in the grand ballroom. In planning a winter wedding, it was a relief to have everything take place at the hotel while not feeling like we were on top of our guests the entire time. The wedding staff was absolutely tremendous, not only did they make sure that my husband and I had everything that we needed, but they also took such great care of our bridal party and parents as well. I can not give enough praise to the person who helped make all of it possible, our coordinator Amanda. She was brought onto our wedding a few months after we booked the venue - within days she had reached out to us to get brought up to speed and was meeting us for our food tasting. From that moment, I realized I could not imagine planning our wedding with anyone else – she is beyond knowledgeable, attentive, responsive and professional and she truly helped make our wedding day so special.

My husband and I were married at the Radisson Lackawanna Station on December 1, 2018! We began working with the Radisson in April 2017, and had the most wonderful experience with the hotel and staff from start to finish! Our wedding coordinator at the Radisson was Amanda DiPierro. Amanda was so incredibly kind and helpful throughout our entire planning process. Amanda was always quick to respond my any questions or concerns we had, and was so incredibly organized and reliable! Amanda went above and beyond to meet all our needs, making our wedding night the most incredible night of our lives! It is not easy for me to give up control, but knowing everything was in Amanda’s hands put my mind at ease. She worked tirelessly to make sure everything was as perfect as it could be! Our fairytale
The Radisson was the perfect place for our wedding. Each and every staff member went above and beyond he entire wedding weekend. Amanda took away every worry I had, made everything that I had dreamt up a reality and on top of exceeding all of my expectations, she was truly excited to be a part of our big day! We had our wedding at the Radisson Lackawanna on August 25, 2018 and it was everything we had hoped for. The staff (namely Courtney, Amanda, and Mary) were very helpful and professional and made the planning process so easy. Everything was set up beautifully the day of and everything ran very smoothly thanks to the entire staff.
The venue itself is stunning and rich with history and our guests loved it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, beautiful location with great staff.

The Radisson was amazing. From our first look visit until the day after our wedding we were impressed the entire time. The building is historic and beautiful. The food, drinks, and dessert were delicious. The staff was INCREDIBLE!! They took amazing care of us- from helping us communicate with our other vendors, to bringing me plates of hors d'oeuvres when I complained about being hungry during photos. Everyone at the Radisson was incredibly kind to my husband and I and our families and friends. I cannot say enough good about this place. It is absolutely a perfect wedding venue.

My husband and I got married on NYE 2017 and the Radisson was the perfect place. Courtney, the wedding coordinator, was so accommodating and helped me with every question I had! I was able to bring in outside vendors as I desired and was able to do a ton of DIY decorating. That being said, Courtney was amazing in helping me stay organized and keep up with all the wedding tasks! She was super accommodating, as we were living in Philly and couldn't always be around to do site visits. The day of the wedding was so perfect, I could not have asked for anything better! The cocktail hour was so nice. When one of the servers saw that I hadn't eaten, she got a plate of food from the display and brought it over to me so I could eat something while I was saying hello to all the guests. The reception was so beautiful and the service was amazing. All of my guests told me later that they were amazed with the service. Overall, I could not have asked for a more perfect day and am so happy that I chose the Radisson!

My fiance and I chose the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel for our wedding reception, and were so pleased with every aspect of our special day! After touring a few venues in the greater Scranton area, the Radisson had the unique touches we were looking for- the lobby is just beautiful- and the space we needed for our 200+ guests. We were able to rent out the entire lobby for our cocktail hour, and paired with the delicious food we chose, our guests were extremely impressed! We were able to customize everything that we wanted, from upgraded appetizers, to passed food, to a custom pasta bar that my husband wanted! The day-of staff was exceptional, setting up all of the extra reception items and decorations we brought up, and collected everything into boxes at the end of the night. They were so accommodating and friendly throughout, you could tell they were genuinely excited and happy for us, and thrilled to be taking part in our big day which is something you don’t see that often! Courtney assisted us from day one, answering thousands of questions over the 18 months that we planned our wedding. Our wedding would not have been so perfect and so wonderful without her help! Any issue we had, she worked out, which was so crucial planning a wedding remotely (as we both live in New Jersey). Finally, it was so great to have all of our guests staying at the hotel in the beautiful new rooms so we could spend the whole weekend together. We truly were so pleased with the Radisson’s professionalism and experience in the wedding business and would recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding venue in the Scranton area!

We had the most amazing, stress free wedding at the Raddison! We had an amazing wedding and cocktail hour, reception! The grand lobby was so lovely for a candlelit wedding ceremony. The food at the cocktail hour was plentiful and above our expectations in tastiness. Loads of compliments. The reception was beautiful, yet again where the dinner was delicious. The staff, all around, could not have been more courteous or willing to please. We recommend this venue highly, having it exceed our expectations . A wonderful group of professional staff and a wonderful chef! It made this truly a wedding to remember.

We got married on September 30th and having it at the Radisson was the best decision I made!! The ceremony was right in the lobby and on paper a wedding in a hotel lobby doesn’t sound too glamorous, but believe me - it was! It was such a beautiful ceremony and the history surrounding the hotel made it that much more special. If you are having lots of out of town guests it’s the perfect location since it’s right off the highway and easy to get to. It was also wonderful having the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and guests rooms all under one roof. No one had to drive anywhere and Traxx bar was great for the guests to go to between the ceremony and the cocktail hour.
Courtney was great to work with leading up to the day and Mary was my savior as the day of coordinator! As soon as we met Mary at our rehearsal dinner she truly made my husband and I feel as if we were the only people in the whole hotel that weekend. Louis was our personal server on the wedding day and was amazing. He made a plate of food for me at the cocktail hour since he saw I was so busy mingling with the guests and didn’t have time to eat - how amazing is that?! Furthermore, my husband had a bad cold and Louis made him tea with a shot of whisky - and kept it flowing! He even had some sent up to our suite that night. Talk about service! My mother’s table also had a dedicated server- Carole- that she raved about, too! At the end of the night the staff placed our guest book, card box, etc. in our suite so we had virtually no clean up. They even saved the centerpieces and placed them on the tables the next morning for our breakfast.
They literally thought of everything to make our weekend as smooth as possible! If you are on the fence about having your wedding at the Radisson - take it from me and do it! All night my guests kept coming up to me to tell me how much they loved everything and that’s exactly what you want to hear after all the hard work you put into planning a wedding!

Our daughter and son-in-law were married at the Radisson Lackawanna Station on November 12, 2016. Courtney and the entire staff helped us put together the perfect ceremony and reception. The venue is beautiful, the food and bar service was excellent & the staff very accommodating and quick to respond to our requests. Many of our 200+ guests stayed at the hotel and were pleased with their accommodations as well. The day went off without a hitch and the bride told us it was "the wedding of my dreams." Enough said!

When my husband and I started to plan our wedding, there was one concept we agreed upon immediately - no ballrooms..then we walked into the Radisson. The lobby area absolutely blew us away, we were immediately in love. Our cocktail hour was held in the beautiful marbled lobby and then the reception was in the main ballroom. We appreciated the reception area being in a completely different area, it creates an element of excitement for the guests as they move down the hallway to see a new part of the hotel.
Two elements that were most important to us were 1. great food and 2. great drinks. We were not disappointed! We chose the plated sit down dinner for our reception. The food was delicious! Let's be honest, we've all been to plenty of banquet events/weddings and heard the token comment of "dinner is good, it's wedding food". The expectations aren't very high. This is not the case at the Radisson! Dinner was both plated and tasted as it would at a high end restaurant. The open bar was certainly up to par as well! All excellent brand liquors, the Radisson does not cut corners on quality. Last, but certainly not least was the service. We honestly could not express enough compliments and thanks to the personnel that had a hand in our wedding especially Danielle, Lois, and Mary. Our night was truly perfect because of them. Our first interaction was with Danielle, again we could never thank her enough for the time and effort she gave to us. We currently live out of state and she effortlessly guided us through each piece of planning and was there the day of to ensure each detail properly fell into place. If there is anyone you can trust, it's Danielle. She is phenomenal at her job, and the quality that set her apart from any other venue planner we interacted with was that she just flat out cares. It isn't a business deal, or just another event she has to work on. I guarantee she will ensure you feel as you are the only wedding she is coordinating. Choose the Radisson!!

The staff at the Radisson were very easy to work with and helped us have a flawless ceremony and reception. Cannot say enough great things about wedding reception at the Radisson! Working with Danielle in the planning was a seamless and easy process. I live out of town so most of our communication was via email and she could not have been better to work with. The day of our event was flawless, their staff paid so much attention to my husband and I, making sure that we ate, bringing food to our room for later, and making sure our drink glasses were never empty. We had such a great experience. I would highly recommend this venue to any bride looking.

I have to say I was a little hesitant because they went through some staff changes in the middle of our planning but I am so glad that Danielle came on board! She was more attentive, more excited and more helpful than any of the others up to that point! We also can't say enough about Mary or Luis! As I said they are the best of the best! Mary is kind and fun and gets things done! Luis is the most amazing server I have ever seen! He anticipated our needs just as we would think them! But he never hovered-in fact I was never really sure where he would come from-he would just magically appear! He was awesome!! And the entire rest of the staff-including housekeeping were the friendliest, most gracious hosts we have ever encountered. If you want the best wedding ever- book it at the Radisson! You will not be sorry!

I truly have nothing but wonderful things to say about having our wedding at the Radisson at Lackawanna Station. As a horrible party planner and a big procrastinator, I was mildly terrified about planning a wedding, but Cindy and the rest of the staff made it as close to effortless as possible. Cindy is amazingly organized and was on top of her game from start to finish. She brought so many things to my attention that I would have never even thought of and is also a really awesome person, which makes working with her a breeze. The wedding went by so quickly, but everything (the atmosphere, the food, the service) was great. I really have no complaints!

We could not be happier with how everything turned out for our wedding. Cindy, Mary, and the entire staff were amazing. Cindy was very accessible during the entire planning process. As for the actual reception, it was perfect. The food was AMAZING. My guests couldn't stop talking about how delicious it was. I didn't worry about anything all night. My wife started looking at venues as soon as we got engaged because we knew we wanted to get married within a year. She went to several places but as soona s she saw the Radisson we were done. She fell in love with the building and how everything looked. Luckily, our church and the Radisson both had the same date available so we booked it.
Working with the Staff a the Radisson was relaxed and easy. They were very organized and my wife had everything planned with little to no stress thanks to the woman who she met with several times (I'm sorry I don't remember her name...Cindy maybe?).
We did a food tasting with both sets of parents and tried 6 dishes. They wre outstanding. We ended up choosing the Chicken Milanese, Sliced Tenderloin, and Stuffed Flounder. Everyone told us how great the food was at our wedding. It was probably the best food I've ever had at a wedding.
We did the cocktail hour in the lobby which looks awesome. They removed some chairs we didn't like and adjusted lighting to match the color scheme of our wedding.
From the moment we walked in the day of our wedding, Mary and Louis (not sure of the spelling) were at hand to make sure we didn't need anything all night. If we were in the middle of the dance floor with an empty glass, they showed up with a fresh one. They took care of us really well that night and we appreciate it greatly.
All of our guests loved the building, the event, and the food. The Radisson is a great venue for the wedding and we can't say enough for the service we received.

Our entire experience at the Radisson at Lackawanna Station was incredible from start to finish. The Director of Sales Cindy was amazing and continually went above and beyond to make our special day so memorable. The entire team at the Radisson worked together to make sure every detail was correct and every special request was met. Even with last minute changes, the team flew into action and completed the change before you knew what happened. One of the best parts about the experience was that the time leading up to the big day was stress free. Everything we needed was given to us in a list with dates, Cindy was reachable at all times and our only concerns were with outside vendors.
On our big day everything went smoothly, the team fulfilled every need and expectation we had. Mary and Luis went above and beyond in the ballroom and made the day even more special. Everything was perfect and we had no complaints!

The Radisson was wonderful however, our meals took EXTREMELY long to come out and some people didn't get served until very late which cut into the dancing time. This was very disappointing especially considering my 93 year old, hungry great grandfather was served nearly last. He was not a happy camper!

The Radisson Lackawanna State Hotel did an absolutely beautiful job! The service at the wedding was beyond excellent. The waiters assigned to the tables were friendly, fast, and extremely accommodating. The food was delicious. Many of my guests commented on how it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. My parents and I (the bride) were so pleased with everything the Radisson did to make my wedding run as smoothly as possible. It was the best day of my life!
You just can't beat the natural charm and character of the location. The hotel is historic and beautiful. Thank you to the amazing staff, and especially Cindy!

Unfortunately, a few of our cake baker's items were misplaced (cake plates) and I had to pay for replacement peices for her. When hotel staff were contacted, they kindly looked for them, but could not locate them.
Otherwise, our wedding was perfect and the Radisson staff went above and beyond to make the event worry-free and enjoyable for us and our guests.

We visited this venue on a whim. I fell in love with the setting at first sight. When Cindy mentioned that we could have the wedding in either the spacious ballroom or in the lobby, I just knew that I was dying to have it in the lobby. It was a grand setting for the ceremony and it was hard for anyone to be late with the huge clock on the wall! We arrived on Thursday and were greeted by the wonderful concierge ladies, then we didn't have to drive anywhere until we went skiing at nearby Sno Mountain on Sunday. All the while I had complete faith and confidence that my dream wedding would be achieved. I got all of my work done by Friday (out of town guest bags, centerpieces, etc.) so that I was able to relax and not leave my parent's luxurious suite all day. The coordinators Cindy and Mary took care of the placement of the items that I brought in addition to the chairs, buffet, etc. They coordinated with my dessert table expert, and I didn't have to worry about a thing. In addition, my guests made good use of the lobby for entertainment, the lounge for drinks and meals etc. Everyone loved the accessibility. They were flexible with traditions old and new and they were "yes" people when so many others were saying "no". The food was awesome and the guests even made a point of telling me so.

From the moment we met with Ashely Cozza, our wedding coordinator, we knew everything was going to be great. There was not a thing that i could have missed. Ashley was always very organized and had a certain way of calming me down when i was freaking out. She oversaw every detail and was there on the wedding day until everything was set into motion. All of my guests were well taken care of. The rooms were fantastic. Overall our experience was amazing. I honestly do not think anything could have been better. The food was amazing! We had so many compliments from our guests about the food. The set up and service was beyond my expectations. I will difinately use them in the future for get togethers. We also used TRAX for our Rehearsal get together and again, the service was amazing.

Our great wedding day experience!
Our wedding day at the Radisson was perfect from start to finish! Felicity and her team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smooth and every detail was perfect. All of the staff was attentive, professional and communicative during the entire planning process and day of! The atmosphere of the beautiful lobby during cocktail hour was magical and left a great impression on our guests! The food was delicious and served quickly which was important to my husband and I so we could get the party started! It was the best day and really stress free because of the hard work of everyone at the Radisson!

Working w/ Ms. Condella and planning my wedding with the Radisson was an enjoyable experience. Everything was done well & I was extremely pleased with the service, food, and atmosphere. I also had my Newlywed Breakfast in the hotel lobby. The only real issue that I could offer improvement on was there was a wait staff women assigned to both my wedding & the brunch. She acted overly chummy, at times, & when she overheard me mentioning to someone I didn't know what to do with all of the glass hurricane vases we had used for centerpieces, she immediately pulled me aside & gave me this whole schmeal about how I should 'do the right thing' and leave some for the Radisson. These were expensive glass vases and I declined, but she kept asking me, when I finally gave in she walked away with 3 of them! I sincerely doubt they were for the Radisson & do believe she wanted to take them home. She was sketchy & I wasn't too thrilled with her pushiness.

My wedding at the Station was perfect. If I were to do it all over again, I literally would not change a think. Cindy was our planner and she was excellent. Our waiters were so nice and attentive. Almost three years (and many weddings later), my friends still tell me that our wedding had the best food of any wedding and was the most fun.

I highly recommend the Radisson. Everyone was so attentive, personal and professional. I didn't have to worry about anything. The reception was PERFECT and the rooms for our guests were beautiful.

Best day of our lives
Our wedding at the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel was everything we could have imagined! A big big thank you to Amanda, Mary and the entire banquet team for making our wedding dreams a reality! My best advice for all future Radisson brides is "dont sweat the small stuff" and let your wedding team take your worries away! Our entire day went off without a hitch. The food was delicious and the party was bumping! The hotel even had a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us in our newly wed suite, such a nice touch that really made us feel so special!

Cindy was a great person to work with. She is very organized and it is clear that she knows what she is doing. She calmed our fears and it was a great day, in part because she knew all of our questions even before we asked them. Mary helped us the day of the wedding and she was great too. The staff at the Radisson is extremely well prepared and a joy to be around. We had our own waiter at the reception (Luis) and he asked us if we needed something constantly. He was very nice and helpful. Plus, the radisson's old world charm just cant be beat!

i have very mixed feelings about my wedding here...there were a LOT of problems with the planning - to the point i had to complain to the GM. things kept slipping through the cracks - even serving us food during the meal tasting with the one ingredient we had contracted with them to NOT use bc of an allergy. yet they said 'opps we forgot - whats the big deal" the wedding came off ok...but all the headache with the planning made it almost not worth it

Regrettably, my daughter-in-law's wedding shower was there. The event was nice, but I was charged $20 per person for 2hours of mimosas and Miller/Yuengling. Per contract, I agreed to this price without having inspected it closely; that was, admittedly, my fault for not looking it over well. However, the quoted price package was for "beer, soda, wine 2 hrs," as per our signed contract. First, the soda was already included in the original buffet price, so I was doubly charged. Also, we never got wine, and it was supposed to be mimosas that were the substitute. The manager Suzanne called and left me a detailed message on my cell-phone said that the language on the contract was a "typo." She also said she wouldn't change any price that we were charged, and only would reimburse me $2 per person for soda. Two months later, no reimbursement. I made several calls to the head of sales, Mike Kearney, left messages, and no call back. My husband then called Mike, who finally answered. My husband told Mike his grievances and Mike said he would look into the matter - still no return of call. That was a month ago.
Nothing was resolved with the inconsistencies in prices and inclusion on the package. They are avoiding dealing with this and it's not appreciated with how much business that we have given them over the last 30 years. We are heartbroken.
The cost was $40 per-person at the end, which we believe is unreasonable. As a comparison, the average price for 3 hours of beer and mimosas in Scranton-Wilkes Barre is $10 per person. The most expensive of the nicest place in Scranton is $20 per person for top-self liquor/beer/wine. Beware the contract and the rude, unprofessional management here. If you're having an event here, go over everything before you sign. Also, look at comparison prices at other local vendors.
