Outstanding!

We are so thankful we found Rachelle as we loved working with her. We started with the Engagement Session and she gave us so many tips and what to wear prior so we were ready to go when we met. We even brought our dog and Rachelle had tips for our puppy too! She was very down to earth, guided us around and posed us but we got so many natural shots too. We loved them and she even designed us an Engagement Album that everyone could sign at the wedding.

We loved our wedding photos too! Rachelle was great with all of our family and friends and captured everything and even more than we could have wished for. We bought gorgeous wall prints after the wedding so we can relive our day forever along with a gorgeous wedding album that Rachelle designed. We can't say enough about Rachelle! We loved her and can't wait for her to capture more photos for us when we grow our family!

Great Engagement Shoot!

We hired Rachelle for our engagement shoot in April and could not be happier with the result. She was very easy to work with and accomodating to our needs. She was responsive, flexible with scheduling, and helped us to choose a great location for our engagement shoot based on the type of scenery we were looking for. And the shots came out wonderfully! She made us feel at ease during the shoot and suggested some really cute poses that we ended up loving. We hung a few of those prints in our house and guests love them as well! We would definitely work with her again in the future!

Excellent photos, easy to work with!

We hired Rachelle as our wedding photographer in July and she did an amazing job! She was responsive, helpful, and flexible to last minute changes in what we wanted on the big day (a huge plus with all the wedding day nerves!) She was well organized and kept a checklist of all the different photos we wanted to get so that no shot was missed. The photos turned out organic and wonderful! The ceremony shots were beautiful too! She captured a great mix of us, the guests, the bridal party, and all the smiles and laughs during the big moments. And finally during the reception, she blended in seamlessly with the guests, getting some excellent candid shots and pictures we didn't even know were happening at the time. It was so neat to go through them after the fact and get to see everything else that was going on while we were talking to other people! We would definitely work with Rachelle again in the future!

Flexible and caring

The engagement session was very personal. She took a lot of time getting to know the both of us before the wedding to figure out our likes and dislikes to get exactly what we wanted. Which really carried over into her almost reading our minds when it came to wedding day which I absolutely loved.

Backyard wedding

All I can say is wow! We hired Rachelle to do our wedding photos for our small back yard wedding and she was able to capture the level of intimacy and love through the eyes of her camera. I was a little nervous that since it was a back yard wedding that our photos wouldn't turn out as beautiful as they did but man was I wrong. She was patient and kind to all parties involved and will definitely be using her for any future family photos :)

Amazing Talented Photographer

I will qualify this as we did not have wedding photos done. However, I would have loved to have Rachelle do our wedding photos - if we just would have known each other in 1997 as I am very impressed with the wedding photos in her gallery. We had a great time doing our fall shoot at the Red Barn. I highly recommend Rachelle as not only is she the nicest person ever, she is also very professional and highly talented! Just check out a couple of the photos she took of my pack! And we are so fortunate to be doing a family group photo later this year when our gardens are in bloom

Rachelle is the best! I booked her days before my wedding and she was able to get me in for a last minute engagement shoot ! She scoped out the areas in advance and was there waiting on our arrival ! She’s super detailed and gives encouraging words throughout the whole process!!! She’s super flexible, reliable, and is always a quick text away! I never had problems reaching her! Our engagement photos were ready 2 days later !!! And she rushed shipped a collage for us to use at our wedding !!!! She is AMAZING !!!

Wedding Help!

We had worked with Rachelle once before for our engagement photos and were so happy with how they turned out, we hired her again for our wedding photos. At the last minute, our wedding plans completely changed, and Rachelle was willing to adjust the timing, location, and the duration from our original plan. With everything already so stressful, this was a blessing. She listened to what was important to us and made sure to capture all the moments we wanted – and more. Great Engagement Photos!

Rachelle was referred to us by a friend for our engagement photos and we are so happy we worked with her. We have not had many professional photos taken so it was great to have someone with lots of experience help with location selection, poses, and wardrobe. She is amazing!

Rachelle is flexible, our engagement shoot was scheduled for a day that was supposed to be a partly sunny day and out of nowhere, a hail storm! Her packages available are a great value! Her personality made it fun and I love the pictures! The collage was part of our package and it is adorable, we will have it at our wedding and then we can hang it at home.

Easy and Friendly Photographer

Rachelle took awesome engagement photos for us. We don’t have very many pictures together. Now the ones we have are so great I want to decorate the house with them. She was great at instructing us what do and how to pose during the photo shoot. She also makes you feel comfortable working with her. She is very friendly and easy to talk to. She worked extra hard to get good photos of our dogs when we forgot the treats. I would recommend her to anyone for engagement photos. Now we get to work with her for our wedding and I couldn’t be happier!

Amazing Engagement Photos

Rachelle has been amazing to work with. We just got our engagement photos back and I love them. I’m so excited to be able to use them for all our invitations! Simply Amazing.

Where do I begin? Working with Rachelle was an AMAZING experience! She is so professional and kind. She included an engagement session with our package and our pictures turned out amazing!! She let us pick a place to take our photos that was special to us and was willing to travel wherever we wanted which made it that much more meaningful. She also made us a beautiful collage of our engagement pictures which turned out better than I ever could have imagined. On our wedding day she arrived on time and captured all of the wonderful moments of our beautiful day. She was responsive to email which, if your planning a wedding, you know is important for coordinating all of your vendors and making plans and it doesn’t always happen. Rachelle is amazing. Rachelle was great for our wedding! She was very professional, on time, and friendly to our guests. She has such a friendly bubbly personality and her sparkling personality just puts everyone around her in a happy mood! She did a great job of planning the timeline to make sure we would get all the important shots on the big day. Amazing Photographer!

Rachelle is by far the best, most professional photographer that I have had the pleasure of working with. Her communication is top notch and she was extremely helpful in getting my fiancee and I ready for our engagement pictures. She inquired as to our likes and picked a location that fit the both of us perfectly. She welcomed us having our dog and captured the most beautiful pictures, so much so that we couldn't pick a favorite! Her reasonable pricing allowed us to purchase all of the pictures so we can have a snapshot of these memories for years to come. We reviewed our pictures within a few days of the photo shoot and she came to us so we could get photos lined up for our Save the Dates. Our engagement pictures

I would like to say how very happy my wife and I were with Rachelle's work. She did such a fabulous job with our engagement pictures, she had a great idea for us when it came to our gagement pictures to take them where we had our first date, we were just going to go to the park that I had suggested, and then she surprised us with this idea. We loved the idea! My fiance (at the time) made a phone call to the Ellensburg Rodeo Fairgrounds committee. They said yes that would be okay Rachelle was willing to drive up to the Ellensburg Rodeo Grounds. Great solution! It was a very very memorable experience for both of us and maybe all three of us, but I was so impressed and pleased that she made the drive from her home in the greater Seattle area to Ellensburg Washington that shows that she is seriously dedicated about what she does. I could tell that she loves what she does. It was an awesome day for us. We would highly recommend her to anyone else looking for professional pictures. She is open to suggestions, and works with you to figure out what's best for the couple. We really love our pictures, they are totally awesome to actually have them taken where we had our first date was just a blessing. Rachelle's a person of high integrity and works very hard to make your picture special. We had a very pleasant and positive experience with Rachelle. Rachelle was an absolute gem to work with! She was recommended to us by the Edgewater Hotel, our wedding venue. She was incredibly personable, and helped us through the entire wedding process. We had little SNAFU with a previous photographer, and when we met Rachelle, it was almost a godsend. We were very apprehensive about working with a photographer after this previous experience, but once we met with her, we were sold. I have so many wonderful things to say about working with Rachelle and I'm not sure where to start!
I'm so glad that I was referred to Rachelle. She was always kind, courteous, professional, and fun! One of my favorite things about her when we first starting communicating was that she was always quick with returning emails and phone calls. I loved that! I'm sure she's a very busy lady, yet she always made me feel like a priority. It is very appreciated.

Our first time meeting her face-to-face was at the Chihuly Glass Gardens per her suggestion and I'm so glad she thought of it! It was a beautiful location and she was familiar with it. We were nervous at first, but with Rachelle's help, she made us feel a bit more at ease even with a bunch of people watching us pose and kiss all over the place. The photos came out amazing -- she made a beautiful collage with the photos that came out crisp and clear. I got it framed and look at it everyday. She somehow made me like pictures of myself! Each image was sinply amazing!
My favorite part was the guest signing book using the engagement photos. It's made in a collage style with varying blank spaces put in for guests to sign and write in, and the special binding allowed the pages to lay flat for easy writing. Everyone at the wedding commented about the book and how much they loved it and what a cool idea it was!

At the wedding, Rachelle was just as amazing as the day we got the engagement photos taken. Her kindness and patience made the day a lot better. I'm running out of room, so I wanted to say THANK YOU, RACHELLE! I can't recommend her enough!

I would recommend Rachelle a hundred times over, she is SO genuine and her work is incredible. Honestly there are so many wonderful things we can say about Rachelle! She did our engagement photos on top of Crsytal Mountain and we had the best experience with her! From the very beginning she was so helpful, friendly and professional. Offering suggestions to get us ready for day of shooting and being prompt in letting us see the album! My fiance and I have never had professional photos taken but she helped guide us through and caught some of the most beautiful and raw moments between us. Rachelle did an amazing job on our photos! She was kind enough to combine a family shoot and engagement shoot for us. We have 4 girls, 2 of whom are moody teenagers, and she was very patient with them and even let them help pick out spots for some of the photos. We had a ton of fun and there were so many pictures taken. Rachelle has great packages and I'm so excited to receive all our prints just in time for Christmas. I can't wait to see what she does with our wedding photos!!!

I have known Rachelle for years and am very familiar with how Rachelle runs her business. I have had the privilege of working with Rachelle on multiple occasions within the Photography world. Rachelle has always run her business in a professional manner and has a genuine compassion in her work. She is very skilled and comes highly recommended. Her work has been published multiple times in professional magazines and featured on many blogs.
Most brides appreciate the efforts of a photographer capturing the little things that she worked so hard to plan from the details of the centerpieces to details of each vendor from the venue to the catering. Each couple can spend thousands of dollars on each vendor and Rachelle will capture this and tell your story of your beautiful day. Weddings are very difficult to shoot and are changing by the minute. Rachelle does an amazing job figuring out how much time each section she will need many months ahead of the big day and will give recommendations even at the wedding consult along as well as many months ahead of the wedding date. This way the couple has a guideline to go by for the day and can then book her other vendors around the schedule like a hair and makeup artist. That way Rachelle can have accurate time to shoot all the different sections prior to the start of the ceremony.
Hiring a professional photographer is extremely important and is more effective to have someone that specializes in weddings and not just a friend. You will receive the best work to document your day along with working with someone like Rachelle who is very professional through the entire process from the booking of the wedding to the delivery of files online.
Wedding Photographers rely heavily on referrals and recommendations. I would encourage any bride considering Rachelle, to read many of the reviews which give an accurate description of Rachelle’s personality, integrity, and professionalism.

I feel so lucky I found Rachelle! She did our engagement photos in October and will also be our wedding photographer this June. Rachelle is so sweet, personable, and easy to talk to. Her warm personality really helped us to feel comfortable and enjoy our engagement shoot. We wanted our dog in our engagement shots and Rachelle worked some miracles by getting our easily-distracted beagle to look adorable in our photos. We loved our engagement photos because Rachelle did an amazing job capturing natural-looking shots that really show who we are as a couple. On top of taking beautiful pictures, Rachelle is super-responsive (she usually responds to emails within a few hours) and flexible; she worked hard to make the entire process convenient, easy and fun for us from start to finish. Can't say enough about this lady! You will adore working with her, and you will love your photos!

Being Canadian, when we decided to elope in Washington, I had a lot of work to do! I had no connection to any American contacts in the wedding industry. With a list of photographers from the lodge where were decided to get married, I had many profiles to review and a photographer to choose. Rachelle was the first and most prompt to respond to my email with the million questions that I had. She was SO easy to communicate with and responded most of the time within minutes! She had several packages to offer us and we decided on the best for us, at a very reasonable price. As we were only coming down for the week, we didn't have the opportunity to meet Rachelle in person until the day of the wedding. With all of the communication and planning back and forth, we felt like we already knew her before we even met her! On our wedding day, Rachelle arrived on time and took so many amazing detail shots of my dress, shoes, jewelry, bouquet and of my hair and make-up being done. She took individual photos of myself and my groom before our ceremony and my walk to meet him and down the "aisle." She captured every moment of our ceremony, even a special butterfly that encircled us with love - my mother, an angel from above, we are sure, that she spotted. Rachelle rented a beautiful umbrella to use in some photos as a prop! We took TONS of photos, all different sorts of poses in several locations. She had wonderful suggestions and was happy to take shots of our own ideas too! She went above and beyond to ensure we had every possible photo that we wanted and even came back to our suite to do more photos with our cake cutting and champagne toast. Our pictures turned out beyond AMAZING! Stunning! We and everyone else love each and every photo! Our family was able to see how our special, romantic day took place, from start to finish! We were sad for the photography session to end, we ended with a gift to take and piece of our wedding cake and wished that we lived closer to stay friends!

The ability to capture moments and memories through photography is a special skill. Rachelle has the rare ability and skill to capture the subtleties of an event in a way I haven't seen before. At a retirement dinner, she watched and observed guests interact with the retiree. The photos taken of these interactions reflected much more than two people talking. Their expressions and sentiments burst through each photo. The memories and warmth of that evening flooded back through each photo. We chose Rachelle to photograph our wedding in Leavenworth. She is super easy to get along with and more than we expected in so many ways. She is all about solutions and extremely accommodating. She always had fun suggestions for locations and poses and didn't hesitate when we requested to change our engagement session to a family session to include our 3 young children. She has a way about her that naturally puts you at ease. Our photos turned out phenomenal! She definitely has a gift of capturing beauty and stunning moments. We couldn't be happier with our photos! We booked a portrait session with Rachelle and were just so impressed with her professionalism and patience. Her packages are great and will definitely make you fall in love with the idea of having each one of your memories captured within a frame - My fiancé and I are having the hardest time narrowing down which photo(s) to use for our save the dates and wall prints! Rachelle is FABULOUS!!! I am so glad we chose her for our photos. We received proofs quickly, in an easy online gallery that we could share with our family. Prints came quickly and were high quality. The photos are amazing. Clear, bright, and well composed. I was so nervous for our engagement photos! Rachelle made us both feel so comfortable and lead us through the entire session. We had a blast! We were hesitant to use our dog in photos, but I'm so glad Rachelle convinced us to include her. Rachelle also had a super-speed turnaround time! When we got to see our photos, they were better than I could have ever imagined. She was able to get some amazing shots and it's been very difficult to choose only a few for Save The Dates! Met with Rachelle about a year before the wedding and we knew from the first meeting that she was a good fit for us. She's fun, friendly, down to earth and her pictures are amazing. The more we got to know her the more we liked her and on our wedding day she did not disappoint. Working with Rachelle was one of the things my bride and I did not sweat on the day of. We absolutely loved working with Rachelle Erickson. We met with her quite a few times before the wedding, including our engagement photo session, and I feel like we really got to know her prior to our wedding day. Knowing Rachelle, and seeing the quality of our engagement photos, gave us that much more confidence that our wedding pictures would be amazing. And they were! This was the one aspect of the wedding that I wasn't worried about on the day of. Rachelle made us feel so comfortable and confident on our wedding day. She showed up definitely ready to work, and I don't think I ever saw her slow down. She also managed our families with ease, and kept the process of shuffling people in and out, moving smoothly and quickly as the rain approached. She's professional, but she doesn't lose the fun and excitement that the day should bring. Where do I begin?! My fiance and I found Rachelle's website and knew we had to have her for our wedding. Loved her locations and use of them, along with an eye for lines and textures within the photos. Talking with her for the first time on the phone was like we've known each other all our lives, she's such a fresh breath of fresh air. Our first meeting was so fun, and again it was like we've known each other forever. Our day with Rachelle was like no other, the first locations got cancelled as we live in the PacNW, rain...Not to worry Rachelle has plans, and great ones at that. The location we had our engagement photos was perfect, she made it so easy and comfortable for Renee and I to be ourselves, and that showed in the most beautiful photos I've ever seen. Her attention to detail was beyond my comprehension. Renee and I have two daughters, both from previous marriages, and now will be our photographer for family shoots in the future. To anyone that needs a photographer and a friend Rachelle is the one to have. Her personality shines with passion for what she does in making dreams come true. Rachelle is fantastic =) I sent her an e-mail through her website and received a call within 24 hours. She's always been very prompt to get back to me with my questions whether through text, e-mail or telephone. My fiance and I met with her in person at a local Starbucks and she was so warm, funny and real. Her enthusiasm is contagious! My daughter was with us and I found out right away that Rachelle is really great with kiddos too! She's so flexible and has tons of tips and ideas and is so very creative and artistic. Her sample albums and photos blew us away. Due to the weather our original date and location for our engagement photos had to be moved to a location she suggested and the photos turned out wonderfully! She was so patient, calming and definitely knows what she's doing. Engagement Photos,... As it turns out, way more fun when you have the right photographer! As the groom, I wasn't that excited about this part of the process. We ended up with a bunch of great photos of us - which are really about US - not just a wedding. Rachelle was fantastic with idea, energy, and creativity. More than a photographer, Rachelle was a strategic consultant. She helped us build a timeline for our event which accommodated all our requests. Rachelle was able to fit us in to her schedule with less than a month notice. My husband and I are from North Carolina and decided to elope at the Salish Lodge and Spa. Rachelle is one of the preferred vendors Salish Lodge and Spa recommended. When looking for a photographer, the most important thing to me was to find a photographer who truly captured the joy, laughter, and love. Rachelle did exactly that.

I also want to mention how much of a pleasure it was to work with Rachelle. She is so quick to respond, usually within the same day. Always very pleasant, sweet, and helpful. I'm so happy we decided to work with Rachelle.

We hired Rachelle back in October for our upcoming wedding in August. We knew pretty much right from the start that she was someone we would want to work with and to have there with us on our big day. She's down to earth and very friendly, yet I know on our wedding day she'll be organized, focused and able to work within a timeline. Equally as important, we loved her photos! Her album is one of the coolest things I've seen, I can't wait til we have one of our own.
Weather was not on our side when scheduling our engagement photos. We were worried about rain and how it would affect our pictures. Rachelle wanted us to have great pictures as well, so she was very flexible with our last minute rescheduling. We just got our pictures back and we love them! I'm not always comfortable in front of a camera but Rachelle was great at helping us through the process. We weren't originally going to purchase any engagements photos but we ended up loving the pictures so of course we had to have them :)
I can't wait for our wedding day and I'm looking forward to seeing the photos she gives us!

We actually did our engagement photo shoot with Rachelle. But that wasn't a category option... Super easy to take pictures with! We really enjoyed ourselves and enjoyed seeing the photos when they were done! Highly recommend Rachelle Erickson to be your photographer!!!!

Rachelle is an amazing and gifted photographer. I knew she needed to take our wedding photos the minute I saw her work. Her warm smile and personality help you on ur big day to feel relaxed. My fiance'e and I at the time were soo excited for the engagement session. She took us to wonderful spots and knew the right lighting and what would look good. My now husband loved her and how patient and kind she is. The day of our wedding she was amazing. The pictures were breathtaking. I highly recommend her. Not only is she your photographer but becomes your friend. We will have her take many more family pictures in the near future!

Rachelle did a great job taking photos at my wedding. There were a few hiccups that night so things were a little crazy but she was awesome and kept everything on schedule as much as she could. I really like how she does a complimentary engagement shoot just to get to know you a little bit before the big day. We went to Bellevue Square and the pictures turned out so good. We were even able to have our son in some pictures. I would definitely use Rachelle again.

I really love that she is not just a photographer but also works in media design and that's what got her into photograph. She is very flexible and easy to talk to about any ideas you may have or questions you need answered. Unlike a lot of photographers around she completely designs everything she makes, making everything a one of a kind piece. She also loves the little details about your wedding and will go out of her way to photograph them as well for any books or collages you may order. If you are on a budget like me, she isn't going to charge you crazy prices and then surprise you with any after the fact. I really enjoy working with her, and would recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer, and not just for weddings either. She is up for anything.

We first saw Rachelle's work at a bridal expo and we were instantly drawn to her photographs. In trying to find a wedding photographer, we had looked at a LOT of portfolios, but Rachelle's photos were the first to evoke a huge feeling of happiness in us when we saw them - we KNEW we had to hire her and we now can't say enough about how thrilled we are to have Rachelle do our engagement and wedding photography! My fiance and I were pretty nervous going into our engagement session as neither of us have ever had professional photographs taken and had no idea what to expect. Not only did Rachelle make us incredibly comfortable and provide continual reassurance, but she was immensely professional and efficient - she really has photography down to a science as well as an art! She had fantastic pose ideas, gave great direction, and really has a sixth-sense for catching incredible scenery in her shots. One example of this - she would note the beautiful way a shadow was falling at a given moment during the shoot and instantly have an idea for an awesome shot that worked with our shadows. We couldn't be happier with the outcome as we were blown away by how gorgeous the photos turned out! Rachelle has also super impressed us with her quick and thorough communication - whenever I send her an email I get an amazingly fast response and her turn-around for her work is also incredibly fast! Finding good vendors in all of this wedding planning journey has been quite a challenge, but Rachelle has been the big exception to that and we feel beyond lucky to have met and had the opportunity to work with her!

Planning a wedding in Washington from Pennsylvania was an overwhelming task. Finding Rachelle Erikson made the experience easier, more enjoyable, and fun! Rachelle didn’t feel like just the photographer. She became an instant friend and had such great advice that she felt like a wedding coordinator and honorary maid of honor! Rachelle helped us create lasting memories of our wedding, but also made the experience exciting and fun. Rachelle did a photo booth during our wedding reception, and it was certainly a highlight for our guests. They loved the fun atmosphere, props, and ability to let loose. The photos were hilarious, definitely some great memories to capture.

We loved Rachelle! She was the perfect photographer! She made us feel like royalty on our special day, and captured every moment perfectly. She made us feel relaxed, and was on the ball with everything. She had great ideas for us to pose, and where the pictures should be taken. We never felt rushed, and she helped us stay clam. We met Rachelle Erickson at the Tulalip Wedding show. From the first moment we started talking I knew she would be our photographer. My package included engagement photos, and my fiancé was so nervous he had never done pictures like that before, I told him don’t worry it will be fun. After few shots he was great, and had a blast she even got great pictures of our dogs. I wasn’t even sure what to wear and she gave suggestions and it turned out beautiful. She told us where to look and how to sit and stand to get the best pictures it was so much fun. And she was even able to get some great pictures of the surrounding area to use in the book we are using for our guest book. She took so many great shots we had a hard picking the ones we liked the most. We left it up to her to make our collage and we didn’t have to change a thing we loved what she picked. I can’t wait to see how our guest book turns out. We have amazing shots in black and white and sepia they all were so amazing. We liked her so much she is going to take my sons senior pictures this year.

I booked Rachelle for both my engagement shoot as well as my wedding! Both her product and service is outstanding! Rachelle created a comfortable and enjoyable experience for both my fiance and me who are not used to taking pictures together. We had a great time and the pictures were amazing! Not only that, but Rachelle is able to pull together small details allowing for a more customized experience. Our shoot was at Pike Place. Not only were her shots of us great, but I especially enjoyed the pictures of the atmosphere like the Market produce, scenery etc. I would highly recommend Rachelle!

Rachelle has been such a pleasure to work with. For our engagement shoot she was super friendly and accommodating to our busy schedules. I am in nursing school and my fiancés job doesn't permit a ton of free time. Rachelle went out of her way to accommodate our needs.
We had an array of photos taken at Gasworks park which is the place my fiancé proposed. Rachelle was able to tell our story with her pictures. Our prints were great quality and so worth it. Trust me, purchase the print and digital package combo.

Rachelle does a great job of listening to what you want and has great suggestions.

Photo-booth FUN!
We were so excited that our photographer offered photo-booth services! She was not only a gem with our overall photography services, she created a memorable and fun way for our guests to interact with each other and pass the time between the service and reception.
We debated between using an actual photo "booth" and a photographer with a backdrop. We are so pleased we went with the photographer and backdrop. This gave our guests a larger space so more people could be in the creative photos.
Our guests were so involved and had so much fun - Rachelle provided a trunk full of props ranging from pink cowboy hats to feather boas and funny glasses. She even thought of the small details - like signage with our initials and wedding date. It created such a fun ambiance! We were so excited to share the photos with our family and friends!

Engagement photos
My husband and I discovered Rachelle at 5th Avenue Photography through a personal reference. Our decision to work with her was not hard, especially after seeing her work firsthand and subsequently meeting her in person.
Bottom line; She is an exceptional photographer who produces high quality photos, exactly what you want for your wedding experience. However, these photos aren't just beautiful in the conventional sense, but also unique and creative. Her lens captures more than just a pretty picture. She is able to tell a story visually. She is incredibly friendly and truly is a very sweet person. My husband and I felt so at ease and very relaxed during our photo shoot. I can say I was incredibly nervous, with the great fear of looking contrived and unrecognizable on film. Rachelle made my fears disappear. She had many ideas and gave direction well. She quickly put us at ease simply because she was so comfortable. She knew what she was doing and that confidence helped give me confidence. She gave us great advice, everything from what to wear to suit the season (winter), to how to do my makeup so my features would look their best on film, to how to stand and hold ourselves during the shoot. Her focus was totally on us.
I would highly recommend 5th Avenue Photography by Rachelle. Her pricing was fair, the quality was fantastic, and I definitely feel we received excellent value for the money we spent.

Rachelle was a dream come true! We were lucky enough to meet her about a year prior to our event, which meant we could bug her with questions and ideas and we were always pleasantly surprised. Neither my husband nor I are very artistic, so wedding pictures were out of our league. Rachelle always came up with beautiful ideas and scenarios. I really wanted fall engagement pictures, and as anyone in Seattle knows - fall is rainy season - a.k.a. really hard to schedule outdoor photos in! Rachelle was so flexible! I think we had to reschedule three or four times, but she was always patient and kind, working with our schedule and thinking of creative places to go. Not only did we want outdoor engagement photos, we wanted our puppy in the pictures. She is amazing with pets! It took a little over a month to get the pictures back, and wow - her talent shone through, they were incredible. We have received so many compliments on our pictures. Both sets of parents were so in love, they ended up requesting engagement pictures AND wedding pictures.
As for the wedding day - Rachelle had an assistant who was so patient and seemed to read her mind. She was in so many places at once, I don't know how she did it all! She was so creative and got all of the shots we requested. My husband had a lot of last minute family adjustments and while I was losing patience with it, Rachelle rolled with it beautifully. Her traditional photo's mixed with modern technology make for some absolutely beautiful artwork. We recommend her to all of our friends and family who are in need of a photographer, whether it be for a wedding, birthday or pet portraits - Rachelle is our go-to photographer!

A Glamour / Boudior Day for the Bride-to-be!
From the first time I saw Rachelle’s sample glamour book at the wedding show, I knew this was something that I wanted to do! Her albums are the best quality I have ever seen! The pictures shown in her sample album were the perfect example of how every woman should get the experience of feeling to show their beauty! Never doing anything like this before, Rachelle had a ton of great ideas on how to create those special moments that you will love. During my glamour / buodior shoot with Rachelle, she made me feel like a model! She made me feel comfortable and made it one of the best experiences in my life! When I finally saw the pictures, I was absolutely blown away! I thought “that’s ME?!!” I thought I was looking at pictures of a rock star! The book she created was unbelievably phenomenal! My pics looked absolutely amazing and her little creative touches transformed the book into an absolute work of art! I looked so natural in all of the pictures!

Our Engagement Photo Session!

We met Rachelle at the wedding show. Her albums and creativity stood out over all the other photographer booths. She was so fun, warm, and inviting unlike many of the other booths. From the moment we met her at the Farm in Snohomish she made us feel comfortable and completely at ease. She brought out a childlike fun and Joe and I were able to really enjoy the experience. As a bride, I was not at my most favorable weight and was somewhat concerned with how our pictures would turn out. Not only were we completely comfortable, but our pictures melted away any fears! She has so much experience and knowledge and she made that evident during not only our session but also when she presented our pics! Our engagement pics captured all of the emotion and love that my fiancé and I share! Emotions that I did not even know could be printed in a one-dimensional print! Rachelle is just phenomenal! I am so thankful that Joe and I have had the pleasure of working with such a truly gifted photographer and an amazing woman!
