Rachel’s work is incredible! I cannot stop looking through our wedding album! She & Maggie (her 2nd shooter & also incredible) captured every detail from start to finish. I was emotional all over again when looking through our wedding album because she really told the story of our day through photos. Rachel even walked our venue prior to make sure lighting was in place to get the best quality shots. She truly cares and takes pride in her work which shows in her photographs. Not to mention she is super sweet and easy to work with. I’m so excited and proud to show everyone our photos! Hire Rachel you will not be disappointed! -

Rachel will capture your most important moments in the most beautiful way
Rachel and her husband, Steven, joined us at our proposal, and they were an amazing couple and photo/video team. You can just tell Rachel is such a lovely soul, coolest person on the block vibes, not to mention an absolute ARTIST. The photos we received are—and will be—some of the most cherished photos we will ever have. It has been 7 months since then (sorry it took me so long to write this!), and my phone screen is still set to a photo she took of us. My fiancé and I are so excited to have Rachel join us for our wedding in a year as well. Cannot wait! 🥹🤍 -

Rachel was absolutely a 10/10 photographer for our Oct 2022 wedding. I had a specific style of photography I was seeking, and when I saw Rachel's previous work I fell involve. Blend that with her professionalism and easy-going personality and she was absolutely the best choice for us. We were both uneasy in front of the camera and Rachel made us feel comfortable, got us some amazing shots, and captured our big day as it occurred. I am so involve with her work and how the pictures turned out. Her and her second shooter (my husband gave glowing reviews) were such a fantastic addition. I would highlight recommend Rachel to anyone I know! -

Remarkable artist!
Booking Rachel Stenger was one of the best vendor decisions that my husband and I made for our wedding day. Even from the first meeting we had with Rachel, she has such a calming and warm presence which we knew was what we would need the day of. She has such a unique way of photographing and capturing moments that make her so special and unlike a lot of other wedding photographers we met with. We did an engagement session with her and she made us feel so at ease, like most couples we're not naturally in front of the camera but she was able to easily talk us through poses throughout the session.
We had a call the month of to discuss details with her - e.i, timeline, shot list, etc. This was a great call because it helped all of us get on the same page for day of. Forwarding to the wedding day - Rachel arrived early to start on capturing details. She helped us stay on-time during getting ready and first look since my DoC was at the venue setting up. She was able to capture SO many images throughout the day from getting ready all the way to the dance floor. Aside from the staged/traditional photos you'd expect from the wedding, she captured so many beautiful candid moments. She moved in SILENCE, I truly didn't see her for most of the day (in a good way!) yet we ended up with +750 images in the 7 hrs we hired her for. She captured everything and more.
When we finally got the full album - my husband and I spent had an amazing 2 hours reliving every single moment! She blew us away and we were not prepared by how beautifully she captured the day - all of the details, the emotions, and the aesthetics, were EVERYTHING! Her talent is remarkable and we couldn't have asked for anything more.
I'd recommend her to anyone - in fact, I already have a friend that's hired her for their day. -

Dreamy wedding photos!!!
Rachel was wonderful to work with as our wedding photographer. She was very professional and organized with helping establish timelines for the day of the wedding and made my husband and I feel comfortable behind the camera. She captured so many lovely moments from our wedding and the editing is very natural, bright, and timeless! We couldn’t be happier! -

Wonderful wedding photographer
We loved working with Rachel for our wedding photos. Rachel photographed my sister's wedding a few years ago, so we knew she would be great to work with for our wedding. We really appreciated that she took the time to scout our venue since she hadn't previously photographed a wedding there; she was prompt and prepared for our big day. Rachel and our second photographer Steven made everyone feel at ease. We felt no awkwardness taking our wedding photos and had absolute trust they would capture both the formal portraits we wanted and the special candid moments that are less predictable. We are thrilled with the preview we received and can't wait to see the rest of our photos! -

From the moment we contacted Rachel Stenger to collaboratively plan for our daughter’s big day, we knew that Rachel was the perfect choice! We liked Rachel so much that we hired her for 4 events: engagement party, engagement photo shoot, small intimate outdoor wedding at the Ivy Hotel and the larger outdoor wedding and reception at The Liriodendron Mansion. Rachel made the communication process very easy throughout the 6 month wedding planning period.
Rachel arrived ahead of schedule for every event and seamlessly delivered her professional services capturing all of the posed and requested candid items on the shot list before, during and after each event. Her attentiveness and amazing talent is clearly evident in the beautiful photos we will enjoy forever.
Rachel’s online gallery of photos and the website’s organization made it very easy to select photos for printing and creating our own wedding album. Rachel’s expertise and calm demeanor set such a positive tone for all of our events. Rachel worked tirelessly to capture our daughter’s vision perfectly showcasing each event exceeding all of our expectations.

Rachel and her entire team were such a joy to have at our wedding. We had a rustic, outdoor wedding in northern Maryland, and really just wanted an intimate lowkey day. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect photography crew to have with us on that day. We've only seen our preview photos so far, but she really captured the joy of the day and seemed to intuitively understand the spirit and character of me and my husband. I couldn't recommend her highly enough. -

We were immediately drawn to Rachel Stenger's photography style and tone. We loved her slightly moody yet crisp vibe. It was evident that she was able to capture the true energy of the people she photographed and that's a special skill. We immediately contacted her to capture our wedding that was scheduled for June 2020. As we got closer to the date and the likelihood of the wedding needing to evolve was growing, Rachel was accessible, supportive, and understanding. She was able to capture our small intimate ceremony on our original date and it was beautiful. We were so happy with her work and her personable energy that we asked her to capture our wedding celebration that happened a year later. Rachel and Zeb, another photographer that she works with, were such a delight while they captured our June 2021 wedding. It was effortless, it felt like they were our friends attending the wedding who happened to be taking photos. They captured all the lovely candid and quirky moments while also capturing the magical staged shots. We highly recommend working with Rachel Stenger, her work is a perfect blend of artistic and realistic. More than I could have asked for
You can stop your search for a photographer here and just pick Rachel. You will not be disappointed. She is simply amazing! We adore the pictures from our engagement as well as wedding. Her eye for light is amazing and makes the pictures pop. And it doesn't hurt that she's easy to work with and super nice! I've already recommended her to multiple friends getting married. 12/10 would recommend and I plan to keep Rachel in mind for many other life events! -

Best. Photographer. Ever
I found Rachel through a random Google search and I am so, so happy I did. Rachel is professional, fun, and so talented. Any Friends fans out there will get what I mean when I say I become Chandler during a photo shoot...and I'm the bride. Rachel took care of that and made us feel relaxed during the engagement photos walking around a brewery with a beer (us, not Rachel. She's a professional).
She did the same for us on the big day in October and brought along an awesome assistant to put up with the groom's bridal party (sorry about them). We had a blast with photos right after the ceremony and they were even better than I could have imagined. Rachel is creative with taking somewhat non-traditional photos and knows All the right angles. I wish I could have that moment again looking at the photographs for the first time.

Rachel was an absolute awesome photographer to have for my wedding day. She was organized yet extremely creative and captured so many awesome photos during our big day. Rachel was the second shooter at our April wedding. Our main photographer found out she was pregnant and due a few weeks after our wedding, so she brought in Rachel as a second shooter/potential replacement if she was unable to be there. Rachel came on board and was so nice to work with! We all met a few weeks before the wedding and felt at ease with Rachel immediately. She contributed great advice and ideas at our meeting and the day of the wedding, capturing so many photos from a second vantage point we would never had gotten without her presence. She is so talented and we were confident that if she had to take over we would have been in great hands, but as our second shooter we were thankful to have her on our team. -

If you are searching for a photographer who will make all of your wedding dreams come true, look NO further! Rachel was amazing from beginning to end. I came across her page on Wedding Wire and instantly fell in love with her photography. She has something special and unique that I didn’t see anywhere else! Immediately after I inquired about her services on Wedding Wire, we set up a phone call. During the call, Rachel was informative, knowledgeable, caring, genuine, and her prices were extremely reasonable especially for the quality of work you get back! I booked her as soon as I could! We set up an engagement shoot; my *now* husband and I were nervous to meet her as we are both a little awkward when we don’t know people, but Rachel and her team that day made us laugh, and we felt much more comfortable! Not long after, we received the pictures back and OH. MY. GOD. were they perfect! Her editing was seamless, and beautiful! We will forever cherish our engagement photos because of how wonderful they turned out! I even had a picture blown up on museum quality canvas to an almost larger than poster size for our home, we get SO many compliments on the photo itself! As soon as we received them back, we knew we picked the absolute best photographer around! Rachel went out of her way to bring a vintage couch, rug, and tons of other props into the woods to add to the theme that I was looking for- she completely and utterly NAILED it. Rachel was extremely responsive to emails, or texts when I was being a crazy person for months leading up to my wedding. I actually love following her photography page on Instagram because it was so exciting to see the work she was capable of, it added so much to our excitement! On my wedding day, Rachel showed up on time (or possibly early), and the best way I can describe what she did that day was seamlessly floated around, and gave clear instructions on what she was envisioning and how everyone could make it work! My wedding party loved her! There were many parts of the day where I wished Rachel could enjoy our wedding as a guest because she was that great! I don’t believe she knew our videographer; but you would have thought they were close friends from how amazing they worked together and fed off each other’s ideas. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Rachel! I would recommend her to ANYONE looking for the perfect Wedding photographer! Our wedding was last weekend, and we are anxiously awaiting our pictures; but we already know they will be an absolute dream!

Photography Queen!
Working with Rachel was the best decision we made throughout our wedding planning process. She is crazy talented and is the sweetest, kindest, and most genuine human being. From the moment we met her for our engagement photos, we naturally clicked with her. She made us feel totally comfortable. Her and her team were an absolute joy to work with. It’s been three weeks since our wedding and we already have a ton of edited photos in our hands. I am an artist, so I was probably pickier than most when it came to searching for a photographer. I chose Rachel because she is an artist on top of her wedding photography business and because I thought she was great at capturing what an event actually felt like and that is exactly what she did for us!
Because we knew Rachel is an artist too, we asked her to feel free to run with it if she had an idea. We actually got to have fun doing high fashion inspired posed photos at the bed and breakfast my friends and I got ready at that came out AMAZING. They are so cool!
She even got great photos of our guests that we are having printed and sending in the thank you cards.
We literally have no idea how we’ll choose which ones to hang because there are SO MANY great ones (and this is coming from two people who are very uncomfortable being in front of a camera). -

From start to finish, working with Rachel has been an absolute dream. Picking a photographer can be tricky, but I am thrilled we were lucky enough to choose Rachel. I was really nervous for our engagement shoot and she instantly made my fiance and I feel so comfortable (and we left with a huge crush on her, lol!). Fortunately we got to hang out with Rachel again at our wedding and it was seriously such a joy to have her there, capturing the moments. She has an incredible eye for design, and I truly know the day was so much better having her there. Our wedding preview was out of this world beautiful, exceeding expectations x infinity. As we left for our honeymoon my mom told us to attempt to have an eye like Rachel's while travelling and taking pictures (which is a nice sentiment but would be impossible because Rachel is SO talented and her eye is absolutely unique and stunning).
