Rachel was so wonderful to work with! You can tell she's a professional - she guided us the entire day through our wedding to make sure we got the best possible photos. The absolute best photographer!

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about Rachel Solomon! We had our eye on here from the start and from the moment we met, we knew we were in great hands. Rachel was so professional but also made us feel so comfortable (even though pictures can sometimes feel so awkward), and the whole experience was just fun and relaxed. Not to mention her work is AMAZING!
From our engagement shoot to the rehearsal dinner, to the wedding day, Rachel truly made the whole process seamless and guided us through every step and decision. She was so receptive to the vision we wanted for our photos at all 3 events and captured all of these special moments perfectly! Not to mention the photos came out absolutely stunning! Picking just a handful for our album was basically impossible! It was so special to see the wedding through our family and friends’ eyes and even more special that she captured big and small moments between my husband and I on the big day. SO thankful we have these photos to remember forever!

Amazing experience working with Rachel Solomon!

When we started looking for a photographer, we instantly fell in love with Rachel’s work through her website and social media. Her style and aesthetic were exactly what we had envisioned. Seeing photos she had taken at our venue made me even more excited. I could truly picture us there on our wedding day, and I couldn't wait!
While loving her work was essential, it was even more important to find someone who would make us feel comfortable in front of the camera. From our very first conversation with Rachel, we felt reassured. She promised we wouldn’t look or feel awkward, and she absolutely delivered. We were a bit nervous about posing and looking natural, but Rachel immediately put us at ease. Her energy was the perfect mix of calm and confident, and she made the entire experience feel effortless. She even hyped us up during the shoot and shared a few sneak peeks on the spot because she was excited about how beautifully the photos were turning out. (She truly knows how to capture amazing sunset photos!)
Leading up to the big day, we had several thoughtful conversations with Rachel to plan out the kinds of shots we wanted. She was organized, communicative, and flexible throughout the entire weekend, keeping everything on track without making us feel rushed. Even when time was tight, she helped us stay calm and focused. Rachel’s calm demeanor was balanced perfectly by her assertiveness, especially when it came to organizing group shots.
When we received our sneak peeks, our expectations were already high, but Rachel exceeded them. We were so excited and grateful to see such a wide variety of stunning photos from our wedding weekend. Shortly after, she delivered our full gallery, and we were completely blown away. Reliving our wedding through her lens was amazing. We were in awe and so incredibly thankful.

Best Scottsdale Photographer

We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. From the start, Rachel was warm, organized, and incredibly thoughtful.
I was nervous about finding someone who would make us feel comfortable and capture natural, beautiful moments—and she completely delivered. Our photographer was our highest priority vendor, and we wanted to find the right person (especially when considering the investment).
Rachel exceeded every single expectation I had. From our first conversation, she was calm, thoughtful questions, and the genuinely interested in getting to know us as a couple. She made us feel like we were in the best hands.

On wedding day Rachel always made sure we always had the perfect lighting, kept us on schedule without ever feeling rushed, and brought such a calm, grounding presence to the day. She would pull us to the best shot, help us pose, make sure we weren't awkward, and overall was an amazing presence. Our families both loved her and loved working with her.

When we received our images, I was blown away. They were beyond beautiful. She captured so much emotion, joy, and little moments I hadn’t even realized were happening. The photos told our story in a way that felt completely authentic to us—elegant, intimate, and full of heart. Our families love them too- and I get so many compliments on them even months after the wedding.

What truly stood out was how deeply she cared. After a recent loss in our family, she sent flowers and the kindest note—it meant so much. Our photos are stunning, full of emotion and light, and capture every moment we hoped for and more. Working with Rachel was a dream.

Rachel Solomon is the ONLY photographer to hire!

We cannot rave enough about Rachel Solomon Photography. From the minute we contacted her until the end of the wedding album completion process, she was beyond terrific. We knew from the beginning that she was the right person for us. She guided all of us through the process carefully and with plenty of notice when decisions had to be made. But it was more than that - she is personable and truly cares about her work and providing the best possible - and seamless- experience on the wedding day. (We also used her for the welcome party, and again everything was top notch). There was absolutely no stress or any anxiety of any kind with Rachel and her entire team on wedding day. And best of all, she didn't just 'stick' to the program - that is, she found a better spot for certain photos on the day of the wedding and we followed her lead -- and everyone is glad we did. The point here is that she is always thinking and evaluating the entire photography experience for the bride, groom and family. Rachel and her team are worth every single penny and you will not be disappointed. I wish I had another wedding to plan, because she would be the very first call to ensure I booked her before any other vendor. Hire Rachel!

Perfect Person to Capture the Best Day!!

We are so thankful we chose Rachel to capture our wedding day! She is extremely professional and communicative and truly takes time to understand your vision. She was great at communicating via email, zoom, and occasionally text. She is such a genuine person who is passionate about what she does! She is organized and efficient, all while being friendly and caring. We totally trusted her throughout the day and her expertise on posing, lighting, and what to capture was clear on the wedding day. The Magician Behind Our Wedding Memories

Our Scottsdale wedding in March was pure magic, and finding the perfect photographer to capture it all, felt like winning the lottery!

From the very first contact, Rachel made us feel comfortable, at ease, and genuinely excited about our wedding photography. She took the time to understand our vision for the day and seamlessly captured every special moment, big and small.

Fast forward to the big day, and Rachel was an absolute dream to work with. She expertly navigated the bustling environment, capturing candid moments of joy and laughter throughout the celebration. The Scottsdale scenery was breathtaking, and Rachel used the desert light beautifully, creating truly magical photos. Choosing a wedding photographer was a significant decision for my husband and me. We had concerns about feeling comfortable in front of the camera and finding someone who understood our vision for the wedding photos. Luckily, we found Rachel, and she exceeded our expectations in every way.

From the moment we met Rachel, she made us feel at ease. Her warm and friendly personality instantly put us in a relaxed state, allowing us to feel more comfortable during the entire process. Rachel's guidance and expertise were invaluable, as she provided clear instructions on how to pose and helped us feel confident in front of the camera.

Amazing and timeless photography

Rachel is the absolute best!! Her photography is clearly amazing and the photos speak for themselves. She was also incredibly professional and there was never a time where I questioned whether she was the right photographer for us, largely because of how great she is at communicating. She is very responsive, considers your needs, and asks the right questions to prepare. She was always one step ahead of us in terms of preparation.

Rachel is exceptional!

If I could give Rachel 10+ stars I would, she’s really that good! When thinking about our wedding and where we wanted to invest our money, we both agreed that we wanted to find someone that could create beautiful and timeless photos to commemorate our special day. I had been searching on instagram for wedding photographers in the AZ area and I fell in love with Rachel’s work. As it turns out, she came to us highly recommended by our wedding planner. Rachel really stood out from other photographers we spoke with 1) she is an excellent & professional communicator 2) her organization and how she manages her business (expect to see detailed emails with follow-ups) 3) her warm & kind personality. Rachel always made us feel like we were her most important client. One of our favorite things about working with Rachel is her ability to take control in chaotic situations (imagine a busy wedding day with numerous vendors running around). From all the email//phone/social media communication to the small details and follow-ups, Rachel is one of the best business owners I’ve ever worked with. Photographer that can tell a story through her photographs

I could not recommend Rachel Solomon Photography enough! My husband and I had done extensive research on photographers before we instantly fell in love with Rachel’s photos. We were most concerned about getting photos that we were going to enjoy for the rest of our lives. In addition, I did voice our concerns about limiting who was able to see our photos and what was posted on social media as my sister-in-laws do not want their children’s photos on the web. Rachel addressed these concerns by reassuring us that we would be the ones getting to share the photos and would be the only ones allowing access to the online photo gallery. I would highly recommend Rachel as she is able to tell a story with her photography and is such an amazingly sweet individual. Her communication before the wedding allowed our wedding day flow seamlessly and she worked well with my wedding coordinator. If you are looking for an amazing photographer, we could not recommend Rachel enough! She is well worth the money and if we were to do our wedding over we would have not changed a thing!

The wedding photographer of our dreams!

When we first started the wedding planning process, I knew that one vendor I was going to be particular about would be our photographer. I emailed a few to say that I was interested in their services & if I could learn more. Rachel replied immediately. She had samples of previous weddings she photographed at our venue, provided us with different timelines, and was all around personable and professional. I knew seeing her photos that I had to secure her for our date, and I am so thankful we did. I don’t say this about many people, but she was PERFECTION! She made sure to meet the needs of my husband & I and our families, while also being realistic (regarding lighting, group photos, etc.). I found this to be very helpful. It showed me how serious she took her job & how much she cared about the quality of our wedding photos. When we got our wedding photos, it was a dream! We couldn’t stop looking at the gallery. All of the smiles, laughs, and tears came flooding back. She was a gift, and I would highly recommend her to anyone getting married in Arizona. A Dream To Work With

Rachel was a dream and a half to work with! Finding the perfect photographer was a top priority for my husband and I when selecting our wedding vendors. We wanted someone who would capture our personalities for our engagement shoot, and all the important moments and details on our wedding day. It was also important to us that whoever we hired was someone we would want to spend time with- your photographer is with you all day so the energy has got to be there! If you want the best, Rachel is it!

Rachel is INCREDIBLE! You can stop looking because she is the absolute best.

We worked with Rachel for the 10 months leading up to our wedding day. We hired Rachel over other photographers because of the quality of her work. We knew she was the one for our big day after our initial phone call with her. She is very professional, organized, and personable. She was always so gracious with all our questions we had through the year leading up to our day. She checked in with us many times before our big day to ensure we were always on the same page. She is always very thorough and prompt in her email responses. She had a great established working relationship with our wedding coordinators (Revel) so their communication was seamless. One of our biggest concerns was how do go about capturing our longer day with multiple ceremonies as we had a Catholic church and Jewish ceremony. Rachel was so kind to jump on a call with us to go through the details of both ceremonies and provide her professional advice on how to transition smoothly into family photos afterwards. This preplanning of the order of photos not only brought ease to Sam and me but also provided a more enjoyable day to each side of our family. We utilize our time most efficiently which was amazing as the day goes by so quickly. One of our other concerns was that Sam hates taking photos. I knew it was going to be a long day for him as we wanted to capture this day. Rachel always took that in consideration and made sure he was comfortable and having fun throughout the process. At the end of the day, he said the photo taking experience wasn’t bad at all. So special thanks for Rachel for doing that for us! Rachel also had an assistant and second photographer that helped her the day off. Her assistant made sure we got all the desired shots we requested beforehand. I am happy to report we got them all! None of these were missed and I am so grateful. Her second photographer was also so kind and delightful! At one point in our sunset shots, she took a bobby pin out of her own hair to give me so that my veil would stay in place. I was so AMAZED at the level of service her team provided.

Rachel is so timely with getting photos back to you. She surprised us with our gallery a few weeks earlier than was expected. I was so happy to see these and relive the day! Sam would tell you that there is not one bad photo. Rachel and her team did an incredible job in capturing photos all our guests too. We were able to share these with our family and friends which they very much appreciated. Rachel made our day stress free with her planning and execution. If you want to work with someone who is the best at their craft but also brings a level of ease, then look no further. We LOVED working with Rachel and hoping to work with her again.

Choosing the right photographer for your wedding day is one of the bigger decisions you have to make when you’re planning your wedding. I am so happy that we found Rachel on Instagram and decided to go with her for our special day. The amount of prep work she did to get to know us better and to make sure we felt comfortable with her on the big day was impressive. It was important to me that we had a photographer that was familiar with our venue (The Royal Palms) and would take control of the schedule to ensure we got all the shots we wanted and finished on time. I cannot say enough good things about Rachel and her team. She was so organized, her team was well structured, she knew exactly where to go on property, she was thorough and coached us through all the awkward poses that wedding photos require. We got our photos back from her exactly one month after the wedding (a month early) and there wasn’t one photo we didn’t like. Words do not adequately express how happy we were with Rachel, her team, and the amazing photos she captured of our wedding day! I can't say enough great things about Rachel and her team! From the very beginning, she made me feel like I was such a priority and was always there for me if I had any questions or concerns pertaining to photography needs. I loved the questionnaire that she had my husband and I fill out to find out more about us as a couple, and learn what we like/dislike in general. I was drawn to Rachel because of the clean, elegant and timeless look of her photos. After we spoke for the first time I knew I would enjoy working with her. Rachel is a true expert at her craft and an amazing partner on your big day. Rachel is incredibly communicative and collaborative leading up to your wedding - often sending hand written notes or taking time to meet with you for lunch to get to know the couple better. On the wedding day, she slays. She is personable yet direct (which is so necessary when wrangling bridesmaids/groomsmen/family for photos). She is talented at surveying your venue prior to the big day and finding amazing settings and landscapes for bride/groom shots. Beyond this, Rachel makes you as the bride and groom feel natural, beautiful and at ease when taking your wedding day shots. Rachel is amazing!

Going into our wedding, we had a lot of concerns about our photographer! We were a covid couple, so we rescheduled multiple times. It was also really important to us that our personality shine through in our photos. Rachel was INCREDIBLE at working with our schedule. We ended up deciding to elope, and then have our big wedding about a year and a half later. Rachel photographed both events, and was absolutely amazing both times. Rachel was amazing at communication, she always answered our emails and questions in a timely manner. Once we got our photos back (incredible quickly), they were everything we could’ve hoped for! If you want to see you and your partner’s personalities shine through, Rachel is the person to book! I cannot recommend Rachel enough!

Absolutely best wedding photograph

Rachel was literally the best wedding photographer I could have imagined! From start to finish, she put so many personal touches into the process - like a welcome gift, constant communication on what to expect, and a thorough walkthrough of the day via email.

The photos themselves are spectacular - her use of film is stunning and produces photos that no photographer can really rival. We specifically wanted film and she's the best.

On the day of, she was so kind but efficient (especially with so many group variations to run through!). And she went out of her way to make sure my husband and I got some special post-ceremony shots as the sun was setting.

Last, but not least, we received our photos only 3 weeks after, which was far sooner than I expected. I literally go through them everyday because they are so amazing.

Cannot recommend Rachel enough for your wedding or literally any other event!

There is no reason to look anywhere else, you NEED to hire Rachel! My husband and I hired her to do our engagement and wedding photography and we are beyond obsessed with every single photograph. Rachel took the time to really get to know us and really understand what we wanted. She listened to everything we said and captured every single moment we had talked about. Rachel is Phenomenal

Rachel is an absolute dream. She had been the photographer at my brother’s wedding 4 years prior, and the night we got engaged, I told me fiancé that we had to hire Rachel.

She is extremely professional and kind, and has become a friend throughout this process too. The photos are exactly what I pictures for both our engagement session and the actual wedding. We have had so many friends comment that now when they get married, they will be hiring her too.

Rachel is amazing!

My husband and I could not be any happier booking Rachel as our wedding photographer! Where do we even begin?! Rachel was absolutely incredible and exceeded all of our expectations. Through this process, she didn't just feel like a vendor to me, she felt like family. Capturing Magic

Rachel was absolutely amazing and far exceeded all expectations. When my fiancé and I were looking for a photographer for our wedding we knew how important this decision would be. We discussed all the must haves; and made sure they could accommodate our venue, family size, time frame and venue package. After looking at several different options we kept seeing the same excessively enhanced images, that didn’t feel genuine. Then by chance Rachel was recommended by a friend; her photos captured the light so perfectly, the colors were natural and crisp. After looking through Rachel’s work we knew we found what we were looking for. From our first meeting Rachel was beyond organized, she had every detail you could imagine covered. Our package included an engagement session; in which she had the perfect locations picked out, and we felt so comfortable with her. She was assertive but flexible, and was the constant professional keeping us both truly embracing the moment, and forgetting there was even a camera. The pictures turned out great, and it was difficult pick our favorites. As our wedding fast approached Rachel never skipped a beat, and her organizational skills helped ensure that our wedding captured everything we wanted and more. Rachel and her team far exceeded all expectations on every level. They were on time for every event and had a detailed list of which pictures to capture so we stayed on time. In any event, there are always unexpected situations that can delay or distract from the event, but she adapted quickly and no one ever noticed. Since our wedding I have had numerous people comment on how impressed they were by the photos, and they have never seen photos which truly captured the moment. In this uncertain time, I am so thankful that we can look at these photos and be taken right back to the best day of our lives. The quality of the prints and the photo book are exceptional quality, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to have Rachel as part of our wedding. Best Photographer in Phoenix :)

Finding a great photographer was the most important part of planning our wedding. My husband and I eloped, and since we hadn't told anyone we were engaged, I couldn't ask for recommendations. I started with the venue's Instagram account, looking at wedding photos tagged there. When I found Rachel's feed, I instantly fell in love with her style. She stood out to me over any others I saw. I think it was her amazing ability to not only highlight the beauty of her couples, but also the background and scenery. Having our wedding at the Botanical Garden, we also wanted to showcase the environment around us.
The day of the wedding went perfectly. Rachel was great to work with. Neither one of us are super comfortable in front of a camera, but she was able to relax us and guide us through the session. And since we eloped, Rachel also served as a witness and signed our marriage license :)
We could not be happier with how the photos turned out. The blog post was published the day we came home from our honeymoon, and seeing the photos quickly replaced the sadness of our honeymoon ending. Choosing the photos to order and display is almost impossible because they are all so great!

Incredible

Pictures mean everything to me. I knew when it came to my wedding picking a photographer was going to be one of the most important parts. When I saw Rachels photos from other peoples weddings I fell in love with the way she shot and the fact that she still shoots film was something that I found so special. I met up with Rachel and I knew from the second we met, she was going to be a very big part of our special day. She was so warm and welcoming from the moment we met! I knew I was going to need someone that I could connect well with because this day only happens once and I wanted photos to look back on for the rest of my life. Our engagement shoot was amazing and that was only the start. We were able to shoot with our puppy which meant the world to both of us. Even at the end of the shoot when we were wrapping up, there were wild horses that came out and she had us quickly run and to grab a few more shots with the horses. This showed me that she was willing to take some extra time to get those shots. Our wedding day was even more special. She was there with us through it all and her team was incredible. She was so organized the entire day. I didn’t have to think about anything truly, she just told us what to do and where to be. We have a very big family and we were able to get every picture we wanted while still making sure we were done in plenty of time before the ceremony started. Rachel got the most fantastic sunset shots and was really there for every moment throughout the entire day. We also decided to have her come to our rehearsal dinner and having those pictures to look back on are very special as well.

Honestly, Rachel went from being just our wedding photographer to being someone that I know will be a part of our lives forever. She is so amazing and her work is magnificent. We often find ourselves just looking through our albums and pictures on our phones reliving our special day. Her pictures speak for themselves. I feel so lucky to have had her a part of our wedding.

Amazing Wedding Photographer!

When we were looking for a photographer for our wedding, our wedding planner told us that Rachel is one of the best in the business. After meeting with a couple photographers, Rachel stood apart from the beginning with how invested she was in our initial sit down with her time and the attention she gave to what we were looking for. Hiring her for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made, after getting our engagement pictures back the quality and the moments she was able to capture we knew our wedding photos would stand apart.

The wedding photos that Rachel and her team captured were absolutely phenomenal and we are having so much trouble picking out our favorites for a wedding album because they are all great. In addition the quality of the product, she went above and beyond leading up to the wedding with check-ins and on the day of with keeping everything on schedule and running on time which was not a part of her job responsibility. Her organization and professionalism was unmatched which really helped us relax and focus on other things. On that day of the wedding she and her team were amazing making sure we got all the family photos and special shots we wanted and adapting to a few last minute changes. Choosing Rachel to photograph our wedding was the best and easiest decision I made throughout the planning process. I dreamed of light and airy photos showcasing the romantics of the day and she definitely delivered, all the while amazingly tackling my massive family photos list on a strict timeline. We were blessed the day we chose Rachel Solomon to photograph our daughters destination wedding as well as her engagement photo session. Best Photographer EVER!!!

Words cannot describe how wonderful our experience with Rachel was. Leading up to our wedding, Rachel was always available to help us with any of our questions, including going above and beyond the duties of a normal photographer to help with things like providing sample wedding timelines. As a person, she is incredibly thoughtful as well, even sending us a lovely engagement gift after we booked her.

I also do not think I could have made it through our wedding day. Rachel and her crew were professional, organized, and helped make the hectic wedding day go off smoothly. I have a pretty busy professional life and probably needed more help than most brides, and Rachel was there for us to provide any advice and guidance we needed. Plus she managed to get my camera-shy husband to crack a smile and have a good time.

And the finished product was absolutely gorgeous! For me, the #1 most important aspect of our wedding was finding someone who could capture the magic and wonder of the day and Rachel absolutely nailed it. I will absolutely treasure these pictures for the rest of our lives.

I would give her 100 stars if I could, if you are even considering booking Rachel to photograph your special occasion DO IT! You will not regret booking the world's most talented, organized, and lovely photographer.

we love rachel!

I had seen Rachel's work through her instagram page, initially, and immediately fell in love the romantic, light and airy style of her photos. I knew that I had to have her photograph our wedding. As soon as we knew our venue and date, I reached out to Rachel (over a year in advance...!) and she has been professional, responsive and so easy to work with ever since. We met with her in October 2018 for our engagement photos, which she made so fun and we found that to be a great way to loosen up a bit (and of course got to see her amazing work prior to our big day). Fast forward to last Friday, our wedding day, where Rachel and her team ran the day and photos seamlessly and perfectly. So perfectly, that she even caught the two of us in front of a real life rainbow -- how does that even happen. We are eternally grateful and cannot wait to see the finished product of her work. When you're selecting a wedding photographer, you're of course looking for a style of image that you want. I was looking for bright, cheery photos that exuded happiness and captured intimate moments of connection in addition to posed portraits. That's why I picked Rachel to photograph our wedding day, and she absolutely delivered on the images I was looking for.

What I didn't realize when I picked a wedding photographer is that whoever you pick is also such a massive part of the day itself. They are with you for most of the day, talking you up, making you feel beautiful, posing your bridesmaids, telling them how to hold bouquets during the ceremony, telling groomsmen what to do with their hands, prepping your new husband on how and when to walk back down the aisle, and keeping your day on track and on schedule—that is, if you choose Rachel Solomon photography, they are. Rachel and her team spent the whole day making sure my husband and i were comfortable—adjusting my dress, making sure I didn't get too wrinkly or dirty, and even holding my dog's leash during pictures.

Rachel is not only a gifted photographer, but a kind, loving, sincere person. She is thoughtful, sends handwritten thank-you notes, and checks in with you during the stress of wedding planning. She is extremely professional, keeping your day on track and making sure the wedding party and family are where they need to be and looking good. But she combines this professional attitude with such compassion and kindness, that it is like having a dear friend photograph your day. She even stayed late to make sure she got pictures of us dancing. Our friends and family commented on how great she was as well. She absolutely shaped the course of our day, making it the happy, relaxed day we wanted and she was one of the greatest blessings on our wedding day. Rachel was a dream to work with! Not only did she take the most gorgeous and classic pictures for our engagement session and wedding day, but she also provided the best experience throughout our time working with her. There are not enough positive things I can say about Rachel! Once we were engaged, a photographer was the first on my list as I knew the photos were the most important piece of our day. After narrowing our search to a top 3, I decided to meet with Rachel first as she was my number one choice. Prior to meeting and viewing her work, I knew there was something that set her apart from all the rest, but couldn't nail down specifically what. After talking with her, she explained that she focuses on the authenticity and the nostalgia of photography, and shoots her couples using actual film. In my profession I dealt with photography every day, and the fact that she was able to shoot so well using film proved to me she was top-notch. She does not rely on Photoshop to make her photos pop, she relies on lighting and precise skill. During the entire meeting she listened attentively to our wants and needs, and after that there was no need for me to meet with the other two candidates.
Her hard work and dedication to photography is remarkable and she goes above and beyond to get just the right shot. She trekked through a cold, windy, and snowy day for two hour with us for our engagements because Flagstaff winters meant so much to us. It was freezing, but she never complained once. She constantly and consistently reviewed lighting, angles, background, and posing to make sure each photo comes out natural, flattering, and exactly how she envisions it. On our wedding day, she was extremely accommodating to my specific wants and took time for every detail. My family notoriously runs late on everything, but she was swift, calm, and easy to work with in order to get back on time. Her two assistants were absolutely fabulous as well, photographing all of our details right down to the very last sequin.
We are so fortunate to have been able to work with Rachel. xo

I can't recommend Rachel more. My husband, families, wedding planner and myself all LOVED working with Rachel and are so beyond thrilled with our photos. As a photographer myself, one popular question I got throughout the wedding planning process was "As a photographer, how do you choose one for your own wedding?" The answer to this question was so easy-just take a look at Rachel's body of work. She uses light and film in such a beautiful way and pays attention to details in such a unique way. I randomly found one image of hers on Pinterest before we even got engaged and the Monday after he proposed I had an email out to her. My husband and I loved working with Rachel. From the first time we met her, she exuded a professional persona that I loved. Rachel was incredible! I would recommend to any bride and groom to book Rachel Solomon as your wedding photographer. Leading up to our wedding day there was endless planning, organizing, and BUDGETING! Although every bride and groom want to keep their costs to a minimum, Rachel was worth EVERY penny. Rachel was extremely helpful in guiding us through this crazy process as well as providing incredible advice. She was able to provide incredible recommendations. I booked our florist, DJ, videographer, and furniture rentals based on her recommendations. Rachel is the best of both worlds - she's incredibly warm, friendly and thoughtful but she's also very talented, professional and creates a great product! Rachel goes the extra mile in many ways - one way was sending us encouraging notes and gifts along the way. Another example of her going above and beyond was when we told her we didn't love the design of the venue we booked and were drawn more to nature shots - which our venue didn't seem to have much of. She took time out of her day to go to the venue weeks before the big day to scout the place and find hidden nooks of nature. She really heard what we liked and what we didn't and boy did she deliver! We recently got our photos back and couldn't believe how many wonderful shots there were! Everybody says it looks like a photo out of a magazine or even "the photo that comes in the frame when you buy the frame." Choose Rachel. Hands down she is the BEST out there especially if you want someone who can shoot both film and digital and a natural light, fine art photographer. Her personality is wonderful - she is a joy to have around which you will want on your wedding day! She makes you feel incredibly comfortable and directs you and your wedding party so nicely to ensure she gets the right photos. We were SO happy when we got both our engagement photos and wedding photos back. We did get a little scared by her contract (mostly because my husband and dad are both lawyers) but do not be scared away by this.

For the guys out there, one of the top reasons why we chose Rachel over other photographers is because she does a great job at capturing both the bride and groom. There were some photographers we looked at that made the guys look SO....well....stupid and dopey. She does a great job at capturing both the bride and groom in their best light without too much focus on the bride. We LOVED this about her.

Lastly, Rachel is super professional. She made everything so easy for us - sent us great email reminders, sweet gifts throughout the planning process, and made us feel so unique and special despite her having so many weddings and engagement photos she shoots. She made us feel like we were the only ones she had in her line up, which obviously wasn't true! But it was the fact that she never made us feel like we were just "one of her many" but really special and unique. I loved that about her.

We cannot thank Rachel enough. We are so excited to see her to continue to thrive in this industry. We also cannot wait to use her for our future family photos!

Rachel is a professional, an artist, and a magician! I don't know how she made everything, and everyone, look so dang beautiful!!! I honestly had a hard time enjoying all the special little moments during the wedding due to unexpected snafus. But everything Rachel did was fun, calming, and flawless. The best part is that we were able to enjoy our wedding after the fact by viewing her gorgeous photographs and reliving the moments without the stress and annoyance we were dealing with on the wedding day. She captured every little detail in the most creative and elegant way. While we were initially uneasy with paying thousands for photography, we have since found that she was worth every penny. Absolutely without a doubt the best money we spent. We even decided to purchase a fine art book to serve as our wedding album and we cannot wait to see it!

My husband and I absolutely loved Rachel! We looked a at a couple other photographers before being introduced to Rachel and although the other photographers we met with were nice and did great work, I immediately "clicked" with Rachel and felt like she really understood the vision we had for our wedding. Rachel's presentation of herself and her business was impeccable from start to finish. She gave us hard copy examples of what her package would include (pictures, album, etc) and kept us excited throughout the entire process with personalized cards before our engagement session and wedding. Caleb and I felt so special with Rachel and I never felt stressed about her or her level of work. The pictures she took for our engagement session were amazing and they exceeded my expectations. We are still waiting on our wedding pictures from a couple weeks ago but I know they will be great!.

In my opinion Rachel Solomon is the best natural light photographer in Arizona. I knew I wanted to book her even before getting engaged, when she photographed a friends wedding and I saw the pictures online. I love everything about her work, and how she captures the softness in every photo. My husband and I got married on March, 19th and already got our wedding photos back. We could not be more pleased with how they turned out. Rachel is amazing at every aspect of wedding photography, but I think she excels in her work during golden hour. She picked this random grass field at our venue that turned out even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. It looked like something out of a magazine. She also does absolutely amazing shots of detail pictures, and really captures your wedding vision through her photographs. I would HIGHLY recommend Rachel to any Bride/Groom wanting their big day captured by a real professional. Thank you again Rachel!!!

My husband and I had a small elopement with only a few family members present. Photography was extremely important to me because I wanted to capture moments from our wedding to cherish even when memory fails us. From the beginning Rachel was extremely professional and organized. Although we are both shy people, she instantly put us at ease with her warm nature. Having seen Rachel's work I had very high expectations for our engagement and wedding photos, and the results of both far exceeded those expectations. Our family and friends were absolutely blown away by the quality of photography that Rachel provided us. We felt honored to work with Rachel. She truly has an incredible gift, and we're so lucky she shared it with us. Every time I look at the photos I am so grateful we chose her to be our photographer.

Rachel was great! Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to cancel the contract with the wedding venue we booked. Rachel was not only willing to work with us at a new venue, she even suggested the one we chose!

Rachel is very professional and it's obvious she is passionate about her work. She chose beautiful locations on the property for photos and gave clear directions on how to pose. I am looking forward to seeing the photos!

Oh and she uses real film!

Rachel and her team are very professional and nice. Rachel gives good direction on where and how she wants people to stand. She works fast to capture the best lighting for your event. I would strongly recommend her for your event. We are extremely happy with our engagement photos and we are excited to see the wedding photos.

I like that she still uses film when taking the pictures, she also uses digital for some pictures. Her 2nd photographer takes more of the digital pictures; she also gives good direction and is quick to get the best light.

There are so many amazing things to say about Rachel. It was one of the best decisions we made to hire her as our wedding photographer. She truly captured the love, beauty and every single detail from our big day. I can't stop smiling at every photo including our engagement photos that she took. After starting the wedding planning process, I knew immediately that the photographer was one of the most important aspects. Rachel was one of the first photographers whose work I looked at and I fell in love with her unbelievably beautiful photos. Her work is undeniably stunning, but even more impressive is her professionalism. She truly values you as a client and goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable when she is photographing you. Rachel is a truly gifted photographer and a wonderful person to work with. We are SO thankful and feel very lucky we were able to have her and her assistant with us on our big day! Hiring Rachel Solomon to photograph your event will be the best decision you make, I can assure you of that. Rachel was the photographer for my wedding and I have to say, she offers more than just great photographs. Her professionalism and ability to cater to her customers are 2nd to none. Our wedding day threw a curve ball our way (and Rachel's), my bride was dealing with unexpected kidney stones. A trip to the ER at 2am and some pain pills to get her through the day made for a setting that no one expected. She was in pain pretty much the entire day and experiencing nausea due to the pain pills. The job Rachel did in making the photography sessions quick and efficient to be sensitive to my bride's struggles yet not compromising on the quality of shots she took was nothing short of amazing. Think about it, as a photographer I'm sure she came in prepared and with a plan...she literally had to abandon that plan and make changes on the fly to accommodate our situation. The skill and professionalism she exuded astounded me, anyone looking on would have never known that this wasn't the way it was planned. She calmly adjusted her sessions accordingly with my bride's comfort in mind and the shots came out just as beautiful as we hoped. Rachel is the GOLD STANDARD in photography and as great as she is at what she does, she's just as great of a person and offers just as great of an experience to her customers. I can confidently say you'd be a fool not to hire her.

Rachel photographed our wedding at The Clayton on the Park on May 23, 2015 and did an amazing job! She was always professional from our first meeting to talk about our vision for our wedding date to our beautiful engagement shoot at the Desert Botanical Gardens. On our wedding day she came prepared with a second shooter, as well as an assistant who also provided us with excellence service and professionalism. I also appreciated how organized she was with timelines and packets of information to make our wedding day run smoothly. Rachel is always so positive and bright that she radiates warmth and makes you feel great in front of the camera! I couldn't imagine having anyone else there on my wedding day... My husband and I highly recommend her for anyone looking for gorgeous wedding photos.
