I absolutely loved my wedding makeup! I've known Rachel for a few years and have trusted her with my makeup multiple times, always loving the results. From our first interaction, Rachel made the whole experience of wedding makeup so so easy. My trial was perfect and my day of makeup was somehow even more perfect. She was prompt, professional, and all of my bridesmaids were so happy with their results. Rachel was also super flexible when it came to day of schedule. A few things changed last minute and she had no problem adjusting to what was needed. She’s so easy to talk to, she listens to her clients, and she just does such amazing makeup. Awesome experience with Rachel Morgan MUA
My whole experience working with Rachel was great. I found her through the Knot website. She was very responsive from the beginning of working with her. I last minute coordinated my makeup trial with her before my engagement photos and she was very accommodating. She was willing to show up at 6AM the day of the wedding and she worked so fast and everyone looked great! She did my makeup, my six bridesmaids makeup, my mother's makeup, and my mother-in-laws makeup, and our two flower girls makeup. She got everyone's makeup done very smoothly and they all looked beautiful, and she was willing to work with everyone and what looks they wanted. I recommend 100% if you want a great makeup look for your wedding from a great makeup artist!

Rachel was top tier. Her work is amazing and she made me feel beautiful!! My trial was a whole year before my wedding and she executed the same look that I wanted… maybe even better than the trial. The makeup she uses is quality, and it photographed SO well.
She also did amazing work on my bridesmaids and mom, and worked so quickly too. She communicates well and was so kind and easy to talk to. 10/10. If you’re considering booking her just do it you won’t regret it.

I made the mistake of beginning my makeup artist search 6 months out from my wedding day…and clearly should’ve booked it immediately after locking down my venue. Another local makeup artist recommended Rachel, who had already booked a wedding in Williamsburg for later that day (I got married in Virginia Beach which is about 45 minutes away). Rachel graciously offered to come do my makeup early that morning, and then arranged for another makeup artist to come later to do the rest of my wedding party. She was absolutely amazing to work with, and is so talented! My makeup was stunning, and lasted from 8am that morning until midnight that night. If I had to do it all over again I would 100% book with her (although I would definitely book earlier than I did!)

There are no words to describe how pleased I was with my wedding makeup. I don’t wear a lot of makeup and most days I don’t even put any on. My husband always says to me “I don’t recognize you in makeup and I love you without it. You don’t need it.” I was really on the fence with getting my makeup done for the wedding but you NEED it. It’s great for pictures and honestly rachel did so well I want her to do my makeup for everything now. I wanted a more natural look and was afraid of getting eyelashes but Rachel DELIVERED!!!! Everything was perfect. And I still looked like me, even with the eyelashes and lipstick and all. Seriously anything you want for your wedding day makeup, she delivers. All my bridesmaids looked amazing and my mom was the cutest ever! Rachel made me feel comfortable, she checked in with me, made great conversation, and was QUICK!!! There were 10 of us and she was done in like 3 hours. But the makeup was flawless and lasted all day and night. Pricing is great compared to some others. I feel like I almost didn’t pay her enough. Rachel was a blessing to work with! We had a tropical storm on our wedding day that forced us to majorly adjust our timeline last minute and Rachel was very responsive and accommodating. She works quick which is great for larger parties but she does NOT sacrifice quality! All of my girls had different skin tones and textures, different eye shapes, and different looks in mind and she made every single one of us feels beautiful! Our makeup lasted from 7am until 2am and still looked perfect at the end of the night. She’s truly worth every penny and so easygoing to work with!

She was quick to respond to all my messages, arrived early on the day of the wedding and was completely set up and ready to go the second I got there, shared what products she was using (which I've since gone and purchased myself because I loved them so much!!), and was incredibly kind throughout the whole process! Rachel did an amazing job on our make up. I had it on for 10 hours. It was humid outside and of course I'm going to tear up a little at my own wedding. My make up and hair were unscathed. Rachel was absolutely amazing, I did my initial makeup trial with her about a month before my wedding and was panicking about not finding a hair stylist yet, so she offered to not only do my hair along with my makeup but arrive even earlier that morning to make sure everything was done in time. She made sure I felt listened to when I asked for a few changes to my makeup a few days before the wedding and was very responsive to any questions I had. I felt beautiful by the time I was walking down the aisle and couldn’t recommend her enough!

Rachel is the best!! She did makeup for myself, three bridesmaids and my mom. I told her i’m not too picky but I was only worried about us all looking cakey because none of us ever wear full faces of makeup. She assured me she would go lighter and do more natural looks for us and I’m so glad i trusted her. Our makeup couldn’t of turned out better. We all just looked very glamorous but still like ourselves!! The foundation was flawless and lasted the whole night. I even decided on a bigger lash on the day of and she accommodated perfectly and helped me pick one that was bigger but not too big. Besides her true talent, she is just as nice and sweet as can be. First off, Rachel is the absolute sweetest soul. She really cares about your look, your specific requests, and listens to what you want and what your concerns are. Out of all of the vendors I had hired for our wedding Rachel was one of the easiest to work with. Everything from payment, contracts, and service was a breeze and totally stress free which I loved! Amazing!
I was looking for a MUA for a military event and found Rachel on Instagram! I sent her a private message and she responded quickly and was very accommodating! I requested full glam and she delivered! My make up was fflawless and lasted for 8+ hours. Highly recommend!!!

Absolutely incredible

Bridal photoshoot/company branding shoots
Rachel is one of the best MUA in the area! She not only brings her expertise, but listens to what someone is comfortable with vs. not when it comes to the look someone’s wanting. On top of her professionalism and well done craft, she is one of the most genuine humans I’ve met and her heart shines through! I cannot wait to use her again in the future! She always makes me feel/look like an actual princess. I would recommend her to anyone. 💕

Rachel is an amazingly talented make-up artist! I had the honor of having her do my bridal makeup, she took the time both during my trial and on my wedding day to listen to exactly how I wanted it done, and I felt so beautiful all night! So many compliments! Forever thankful for her for making me feel like the most beautiful bride!

I used Rachel to do my makeup and she was very professional, listened to what I liked and didn’t like, and really nailed the look I was going for perfectly. I felt so beautiful and excited when I looked in the mirror and I highly recommend using her services!

Best experience!
Rachel was absolutely amazing! She is extremely talented, flexible, efficient, and gets along with everybody. Myself and others in the wedding party never really wear make up so we went for natural looks and she nailed it with all of us. Each of us had a different idea of what we wanted and she listened and adapted to each of our needs. Everyones make up was gorgeous and we were shocked with how amazing each of us felt and looked! Rachel loves what she does and it shows with her work and even her presence! I couldn't imagine relying on anyone else to do my make up for my wedding. I will definitely be booking her for future events!

Excellent experience with Rachel
Rachel made this special day the BEST day for me … our make up was exceptional! She knew exactly what colors to use on each of us to enhance our individual needs and we were all so happy. It was an amazing experience and I would highly recommend her to anyone! Rachel was very pleasant to work and very patient. I felt honored and Lucky to have her on this special day.

Makeup lasted all day
Rachel came recommended to me by my hairstylist that I chose for my wedding! I am so lucky that I found her. She was able to accommodate my bridal party of 9 in timely fashion. Makeup lasted all day to! She even left me a lip sample to reapply throughout the day.

Rachel morgan mua is amazing
Rachel is amazing at what she does! I was lucky to secure her make up services for my wedding in May of 2023. I had nine members of my bridal party getting their makeup done that morning. Rachel and her assistant were punctual, professional and extremely efficient with their time! We finished up well ahead of schedule, which was awesome! So make sure everyone is on time, if not early! My group ranged from bridesmaids, to mothers of the bride/groom and flower girls, a very diverse group. We were all very satisfied with our makeup for the special day! I would recommend Rachel Morgan MUA to anyone needing professional makeup done for any event!

Great wedding makeup
Rachel was so helpful and did a great look for my wedding. I am not a makeup wearer so I asked for a natural look and she delivered. She also did some family and friends and they were happy with their experience as well. I would definitely recommend Rachel to anyone looking for an MUA!

Rachel made me feel beautiful
Rachel did my make up for my wedding day as well as 5 of my other bridal party members. I had done a trial and provided feedback about what I liked and didn't like based on that. She communicated throughout the process very well. I did not feel the bridal make up was worth $300 as she spent the same amount of time on my make up as the bridesmaids make up that was $150. She did not stay to provide touch-ups either for any of us. The make up did last on me all day and I got so many compliments on it. I would recommend Rachel for make up and I would totally have her do my makeup again but keep her pricing in mind when deciding between vendors.

Think twice...
I would not hire Rachel Morgan for your wedding as your sole makeup artist. I had contracted her for my wedding and she cancelled due to an injury a month before the wedding. Although life happens, it made my really special day unnecessarily stressful as she was one of the first vendors I was excited to book because I am such a big/picky makeup girl. She did refund me my deposit but again it made it VERY difficult to find backup last minute... I ended up having to get my makeup done at 7AM for my 3PM wedding... not ideal. The whole situation is unfortunate... and although this review is not against her skills it is to warn you to make sure you book a second artist incase of emergencies and life situations. As far as skill goes, I think she does an ok job but she does a "cookie cutter" look for all of her brides and only expect to be in her chair for a MAX of 30 minutes. You do not get any "special treatment." My advice would be to book the trial before booking her for your event, she does great work if you fit the mold! And do not book her solo for your wedding.... don't book ANY artist solo for your wedding. Learn from my lesson.
