I cannot say how great Rachel is! Rachel was able to easily adapt to the Victorian themed wedding that I had and took amazing and dramatic photos. She made me feel confident on my wedding day and was very good at capturing photos I had requested. I usually feel that photoshoots are tedious but it was actually so fun to have our photos taken by her and she worked great with our videographers. She also brought her assistant to our wedding and her assistant was super helpful. Highly recommend! -

Above and beyond My Highest expectations!!!!
If you were like me and a lot of women out there you see your imperfections. My biggest fear when choosing a photographer and getting my photos taken on my wedding day was going to spend all this money and end up with a bunch of photos where all i could see is My insecurities Captured. I cannot say enough about Rachel, She was kind and patient and understanding. I talk to her about exactly what my vision was and what I wanted and throughout the day she would course correct or help me to obtain the right shape, angle, lighting and image So that in every photo and I’m not kidding when i say every photo she has sent me all I could see was the woman I feel that I am on the inside. I don’t think a lot of people realize how much time you spend on your big day with your wedding photographer and I have to say she really felt like she was a part of my family and she added to my celebration and joy. Rachel we love you and could not thank you enough!!! -

Rachel was one of the best parts of our wedding. From the word go we felt comfortable and confident in her ability. We knew she took great photos from her website, but her ability to easily get us into comfortable, natural poses that highlighted our features, clothes, or venue was unbelievable.
I did not expect the overwhelming emotion of the first look photos, and am so happy she captured this in a magical spot at our very special venue.
The photos were processed at a pace that I thought was more than appropriate, especially when we got the results. wow. I mean WOW.
We got a curated couture book and made some edits to the draft and selected our absolute favorites. The book turned out amazing and tells the story of our entire wedding.
Rachel deserves special praise, and I hope she is available for your special day. -

Simply fabulous!
Rachel Leintz Photography was no doubt the best (and easiest) decision I made regarding our Sedona wedding! Our pictures were incredible and turned out better than we could have ever imagined!! She shows her brides some serious attention and made my husband and I feel at complete ease (we had no idea what we were doing). Her style is elegant and couture. She even scouted the area prior to our wedding to capture the perfect moments and ensure everything ran on schedule! Planning a destination wedding can be challenging but Rachel made this part a breeze. She was professional, courteous, flexible and incredibly responsive. She really put in the extra mile to make our special day incredible. Her pictures speak more than words. Can’t praise her enough!! -

Finding my photographer was one of my biggest challenges. The price range was so drastic and the quality all over the place. I started looking at photographers, stalking their facebook, instagram, and etc. It was overwhelming. I started then looking at the wedding magazines to see who one awards. When I stumbled upon Rachel I was stunned by her photos and knew immediately she was the ONE! She is an Angel - I swear God sent her to me. -

I can't say enough good things about Rachel. She was incredibly responsive which was great since we planned our wedding from abroad. Rachel and her assistant were prompt and very professional. She made me feel so comfortable and I knew she could tell that I didn't LOVE talking pictures but she was right, it was sooooo worth it! I received some sneak peak photos and they look like they could be from a magazine! She has an incredible vision and takes the most unique photos. I can't wait to receive the rest of our photos! Also, her assistant is such a trooper, she was hit with a golf ball while we were taking our photos!!! Thank you both again for beautifly capturing our day! -

The best wedding decision I made, minus choosing my husband of course. Rachel was fantastic! From setting up a meeting in person prior to our wedding, asking about our wedding vibe and getting to know our personalities, to being an amazing photographer with an eye for stunning shots. We have only received our sneak peaks so far but I know the rest of the photos are going to be just as amazing. -

Rachel is an artist! So many photographers within our price range were either unwilling to negotiate or charged the same amount for lesser quality. When we met with Rachel we knew right away that she was the photographer for us. She’s incredibly responsive in all platforms, offered us advice, and helped us capture the most beautiful photos. All of our friends and family are incredibly impressed with her talent, and we’re thankful that she’s a vendor that chases the art and not the dollar. Her photos are epic, and we couldn’t be more grateful that we were afforded the opportunity for her to create magical memories for us on our special day! -

Rachel is amazing!
I absolutely love the photos! They are so perfect. If you want an amazing photographer to capture your special day, Rachel is the one! She captured our engagement photos, my Boudoir session, and our wedding. All of the photos were perfect. I can’t say enough amazing things about Rachel, she is so sweet and easy to work with. I 100% recommend her to anyone that needs a wedding photographer! -

The BEST Choice You Can Make For Your Wedding
We couldn’t be more pleased with our choice to have Rachel as our wedding photographer. She is INCREDIBLY talented and absolutely blew our minds with both the engagement photos and our wedding photos. Heck! She practically helped me plan part of my wedding! Plus, she is just such a wonderful, sweet person, which is great to have when you spend pretty much your entire wedding day with your photographer. Stop what you are doing and HIRE RACHEL immediately if you are looking for a photographer. She is an absolute phenomenal artist with her photography and also an amazing person in general. We got super lucky because my brother and sister in law found Rachel for their wedding in 2017. We got to meet her and see her amazing work, so it was a no brainer to hire her when we got married. She made our day SO FUN. She is creative, funny, extremely easy to work with, and her work is impeccable. We just got our photos back and they help portray the love and fun we had on our wedding day. She made the entire process so easy, and she is so organized so our photos were exactly what she wanted. It is safe to say I am obsessed with Rachel and her work!! She will make all your photo dreams come true. I could not recommend working with her more. I wish I could give her higher than a 5/5!!!

Christie Sent on 11/02/2018The greatest part about our wedding (besides the whole getting married thing😉)
My wonderful husband and I shared our special day with family and friends in September and it was nothing short of magic! There are a million little things that go into making your big day and endless vendors eager to help bring it all together. When we first started planning, the role of photographer was honestly pretty low on our priority list. I suppose I never could have imagined the impact of that single role or the serendipity that brought Rachel into the picture for us. We did our due diligence when hunting for a photographer and met with many before finding Rachel and until that point, we were simply looking for the best deal. I stumbled across Rachel’s work late one night and began imagining my wedding looking editorial and high fashion like the brides her portfolios boasted. My husband was both surprised and nervous when I zealously raved about this photographer I had come across as he could tell I was completely enamored and he was expecting we’d never be able to afford her. After speaking to her over the phone, it was like we couldn’t picture our day without her!! Before even knowing her cost, we were willing to do whatever it took to get her to want to work with us! Our hearts burst when we discovered she was so flexible and willing to make it work for us no matter what. I can honestly say that our wedding was perfect and we were so lucky to have an incredible team around us in every role...but Rachel was the highlight of our experience (you know, besides the obvious😉). She made us feel like the most important, most beautiful, most loved humans on that day and she more than captured those feeling for us forever. We received a million and one compliments on the perfect details of our day, but none more than those about our incredible photographer. She was so professional, classy, discreet, creative, fun, and respectful...WE felt honored to have her with us that day. Simply having Rachel part of the memory was more than enough, until we received the pictures. Our jaws are still on the floor! It’s common that our memories are more impressive than reality, but reliving that day through her lense, is like falling into the perfect glossy pages of a Vogue bridal spread. My heart skips a beat with the flip of every page. She captured every detail, every emotion, every little thing everyone felt or dreamed of on our wedding day and more. I wish we could do it again and again and then once more. We will cherish our wedding album for a lifetime as it will proudly hold stake as the crown jewel of our coffee table books. Rachel gave us the greatest wedding gift of all by sharing her beautiful talent with us. -

Rachel delegated between the vendors and used time wisely. Honestly, I have no regrets the photos are stunning. She is simply an amazing person to work with.

Let me start by saying the pictures of me and my husband are beautiful; like others said, they look like they could be in a magazine. The coverage up to the reception is great and similar to the pictures we had seen on her website and Instagram posts. She is very good at making you look good.
However, the one thing I asked specifically for was “pictures of guests”. I told her I wanted people to feel special and that they mattered to me. After we waited 2.5 months for our pictures, I got to the end of the reception and said, “That’s it?” We had a first dance, dances with our parents, our cake cutting, and we signed our marriage certificate. We requested 2-3 group pictures on the spot. Other than those times, she was free to move around, and she chose to spend the entire time at the dance floor, shooting from the same angle. Consequently, if you didn’t dance, you weren’t photographed. Our reception was in a restaurant with pillars and sunken levels, and therefore had a very small dance floor- less than half our guests were ever in that area. She didn’t walk around the inside space nor the outside patio, where the bar was (and therefore where 20-30 people gravitated). When I asked what happened, she told me “Everyone was dancing!” which is funny, because I never did- I was busy greeting the guests. I was able to see some guests sitting at their table in the background through several pictures before they finally left. Once in a while I could find myself in the background, talking to others. Of all the people we said hello to, she has a picture of us with ONE. I don’t understand how taking pictures of guests could possibly translated to it being acceptable to stand in one area of the reception room all night and take pictures of mostly the same people over and over. She asked me if the missing people were in a picture I asked for in the moment, which I thought would just be a bonus with the rest of the coverage she got, not the sole picture I have of many of my close friends. My dad sat and talked to his family all night, and there isn’t a single picture of it. There are plenty of people who aren’t in the group pictures I asked for, that I either have a bad cell phone picture with or nothing at all. She sent us all the reception pictures so I could comb through and find people, but it just proved she really, truly didn’t move around. Anyone I found is in passing or came for a few minutes of dancing and moved on. She offered a photoshoot for the “specific friends [I was] speaking with” to make up for this, but can you imagine trying to wrangle half your guests to show up at a SECOND event? Or perhaps she was referring to the 6 specific people I spent a good 20 minutes talking to that she somehow didn’t notice, 4 of whom live out of town. And that’s of course a fraction of the people I spoke to (and I sent her several cell phone pictures of missing guests and circled others in the one requested group picture).
You may be thinking, “Oh, I’ll just have a second shooter, surely the second person would make up for anything missed!” A second shooter was part of our contract, and I expressed to Rachel that I didn’t want to miss a moment of the wedding and therefore wanted pictures of cocktail hour. She brought a second person the day of, so I didn’t question it. When we got our pictures back I asked why we didn’t have pictures of cocktail hour, and she explained the second person was her assistant. My husband asked why we didn’t have a second shooter if it was in our contract, and she finally realized she forgot. Her solution was to pay us back the cost of the second shooter (which was inexpensive relative to the total cost). There was a reason I paid for this in the first place and signed a contract stating so, only for it to be ignored, and I can never get these memories back.
If your main concern is beautiful pictures of yourself and your husband (I realize that’s the most important part of your wedding day), then go for it, hire Rachel. But if you want your photographer to notice where you are and who you are talking to at your own reception (I’ll never forget the “Everyone was dancing!” email), then I’d find someone else. Perfectly shot and edited pictures don’t matter if the content is missed. Everyone says the pictures are the most important part of the planning, so choose wisely- I only wish there was a review like this before I hired her. I still get frustrated every time I look at our wedding photos because I’m reminded of how it wasn’t worth it to her to walk around a room, or even read our contract, and I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.
