We were on the hunt for the perfect buttercream icing and moist cake for our wedding. Right as we were getting ready to settle for another bakery, we did a cupcake tasting with RachMakesCakes and were immediately SOLD! We absolutely loved our simple, yet elegant wedding cake design and the variety of flavor options. The chocolate, cinnamon and vanilla were our favorites. Plus, RachMakesCakes is now 100% vegan and you would never guess that she doesn't use traditional ingredients. We can't wait to have RachMakesCakes bake and design our next event cake :) -

Perfect Cake
Rach was wonderful to work with for our wedding cake! Her tasting process was so easy and she made excellent recommendations for our cake decorations based on my wedding dress. The cake was so beautiful and absolutely delicious! All of our guests loved it—my husband’s grandmother loves to bake herself and had previously had a vegan cake that didn’t go over well, but his grandmother absolutely loved your cake and had multiple pieces! Our cake served more people than in attendance at our wedding, so Rach provided to-go boxes for us. Everyone was glad to be able to take some cake home with them and loved it the next day. We would highly recommend choosing Rach Makes Cakes for your wedding or any other celebrations! -

Rach was the BEST
We really enjoyed working with Rach. From the beginning, she was very accomodating. She took my vision and brought it to life, not to mention the cakes being so delicious. We were a part of the wedding season during COVID. She even made us a mini version of our cake for our mini ceremony in 2020 then had our grand cake in 2021. We are so thankful we found her and would recommend her 100%. -

Wonderful!
Rach is the best to work with! Our cake was not only beautiful, but SO yummy. Rach last minute even made us cake pops as party favors for our guests and they were a hit! She is well priced and made our day so special :) -

Amazing Cakes!!!
We tried several cake tastings, and Rach's cakes were vegan and the most delicious we tried!! My daughter's Wedding cake and the Groom's cake design came out exactly as we had asked! The chocolate and peanut butter filling cake....AMAZING!!! We also had Champagne and Raspberry filling...so delicious. Her cakes were so super moist and flavorful!

After we had to reschedule our wedding due to the pandemic TWICE, I wanted to make the 3rd planning process as smooth as possible. We had to re-plan our wedding from out-of-state to a different state than originally planned! I'm so thankful I found Rach. I actually inquired with her about 2 weeks prior and thankfully she was available for our wedding date! We opted for cupcakes for the guests, and I LOVED the fact I was able to choose a variety of flavors of cupcakes for our guests! And the size of them were a lot larger than regular cupcakes, and the price was within our budget!
Unfortunately, I didn't get to try all the varieties, but I managed to have the venue save me one Red Velvet!
OMG her pastries are To Die For! I'm so sad I didn't get to hoard more for myself! :-P
Thank you Rach for working with us on such short notice, and being so communicative through the process!
As a bride and as a wedding photographer myself, I will forever recommend Rach for anyone getting married in Georgia! You definitely will not be disappointed!!

I couldn't image any other cake baked by any other person for my wedding. Rach's flavors and skill with buttercream are unmatched. When I say that our wedding cake was flawless, I mean it. It looked absolutely stunning, tasted like a dream, and was everything I could have asked for. Our four layer cake had three flavors (cinnamon, pumpkin spice, and vanilla) and was covered entirely in the smoothest black buttercream that I have ever seen. My husband and I loved it and our guests went back for seconds. If you want a truly fantastic dessert for your events, Rach is your girl. -

When I say she is the BEST of the best, I am not exaggerating. Not only are her cakes gorgeous, they are the tastiest you'll ever have! It'll have every person asking you "WHO made this cake?!" I have been ordering cakes from Rach for several years for every birthday party, engagement party, and baby shower that I have thrown for friends and my kiddo. I finally had the pleasure of having her cakes at my own event in September when my husband and I celebrated our vow renewal. Rach created a one-of-a-kind gorgeous reception cake as well as a shaped couples' cake for just me and my husband. You will be SO happy with Rach! -

Delicious, Beautiful Cakes!
I took a cake decorating class from Rach years ago and so when I needed a cake for my wedding, she was the first call! Rach makes, hands down, the best cakes I have ever eaten. The most moist, delicious cakes that we kept hearing about post-wedding. And it was gorgeous! Also, Rach is wonderful and easy to work with! -

Our experience with Rach Makes Cakes was awesome! Rach made the process so easy, and fun! She was responsive right off the bat. We really enjoyed our tasting! We were able to choose several flavors to try. Go with her famous almond cake with raspberry filling and almond buttercream - trust us! :) The cake was beautiful and SO delicious! We have used Rach Makes Cakes for our birthdays for the last two years and now for our wedding as well! She is amazing and really listens to her clients and is so creative. She made our vision for our desserts come to life and everything was as delicious as ever. We went with a single flavor cake (red velvet) and three flavors of cupcakes (almond, double chocolate, and KEY LIME). Everything was a huge hit with our guests and Rach even set up our entire display when she delivered everything. The tasting session and overall communication with her were amazing and so easy. We recommend her work to everyone and we look forward to using her for more events in the future! -

I ordered a cake from Rach for my bridal shower and I was BLOWN AWAY by Rach’s professionalism and artistry. She is a gem. The cake was to die for and was a real showstopper for my shower. Everyone was amazed by how beautiful it was but they were also in love with the flavor. I mean it was PERFECT. I will be working with her again for certain. -

Gorgeous wedding cake
Rach was a pleasure to work with and was so responsive throughout the process. The cake design was precisely what we wanted, the sugar flowers looked just like fresh flowers, and the cake itself was delicious! We chose the vanilla option with raspberry filling, which was to die for. We got compliments from guests that it was the best cake they’d ever had period. Thank you SO much to Rach, it was perfect! -

Ann Sent on 01/16/2018l found Rachel after our initial plans changed for the wedding cakes. We were within three weeks of the wedding date. I was looking specifically for a "Naked Cake". I emailed Rachel after finding the cake in her website pictures. She promptly emailed me the next day, and we quickly arranged for me to visit her store. Rachel gave me tastes of several cakes, we agreed on the dates and time of the reception, Rachel gave me the price and we settled on the arrangements - all within 45 minutes. Rachel delivered the cake in order to make sure it was all ready. When I arrived at the reception, the cake was perfect and ready. Several guests told me the almond "naked" cake was the most delicious they had ever had! Thanks Rach who makes cakes! We'll be back!

Sherry Sent on 11/14/2017I am beyond obsessed with how our cake turned out. Not only was the cake visually stunning, but the guests could not stop raving about the flavor. We saved our wedding cake top and ended up eating it the next day at our brunch because we just could not resist. I guess this gives us an excuse to just get more cake for our 1 year anniversary.
RachMakesCakes went above and beyond my expectations and I could not be more thrilled. Rachael was easy to work with and so kind! I highly recommend her! -

Nothing but great reviews for our cake from Rach. From our initial consultation, she was very inviting and receptive to our ideas. I was a little nervous about the pricing of the cake , but the tasting alone made us realize that it was worth it. On the day of our wedding, I almost cried when i saw our beautiful cake. She executed our vision perfectly and our guests loved it. The flavors were amazing and the presentation was stunning. I'm not a fan of overly sweet desserts and she was able to find the right balance of sweetness. I'm already looking forward to our anniversary to eat the top tier :) -
