We were so excited that Rabi David and Cantor Lee were able to perform our wedding ceremony at the Grand Floridian in Disney World. I remember when I was 15 how they made me feel so accepted within the congregation and how that brought me closer to Judaism. Rabi David even remembered things I told him about, like my dance training, all these years later. So having them wed myself and my now husband was so special. From start to finish the ceremony was loving, warm, beautiful, full of magic, and felt so tailored to us as a couple. Myself and my husband can truly say the ceremony was actually our favorite and most cherished part and the wedding and that was in large part to Rabi David and Cantor Lee 🤍

I'm Jewish and my now husband is Christian and it was important for us to have both of our religions reflected in our wedding ceremony. Rabbi David was really helpful at stepping us through what the ceremony would love like and being flexible with our wants. During the ceremony, he made us feel really happy and connected and both of our families walked away being so happy with the ceremony he performed. Would highly recommend!

Special Interfaith Wedding was Super Special!
It was a bit of a challenge to find a Rabbi from afar. Bring from NJ I was looking for a Rabbi in Florida for our Son. Coming upon Rabbi David and Cantor Lee was true luck. They were instrumental in helping my Son and his Fiancé additionally find a Minister who would co-officiate their Ceremony. Our beautiful interfaith wedding ceremony was spot on making sure that all the special traditions of both religions were recognized. Without a doubt a 5 star experience.

We got so many compliments!
Rabbi David and Cantor Lee were so incredibly nice on our several Skype calls leading up to our big day. He took the time to go through every Jewish wedding tradition, explaining the history and meaning and helping us decide how we want to do our ceremony. When we told him that we wanted to do our first look as she walked down the aisle, he easily came up with a plan for us to do seperate Ketubah signings. The ceremony was wonderful with translating and explaining for our non-Jewish guests and sage advice for our new union. They are the best!

Beautiful + Thoughtful Wedding Ceremony
Rabbi David and Cantor Lee were absolutely a joy to work with over the last year as we planned our wedding. They were happy to meet with us virtually and plan the ceremony to exactly what we were looking for in an interfaith ceremony. Rabbi David took the time to explain the Jewish aspects of our ceremony to us (several times before) and to our guests during the wedding. Our guests LOVED Rabbi David and the flow of the ceremony. As we were beginning to walk down the aisle it looked like it was about to pour, so without us knowing or realizing until later, Rabbi David switched around pieces of the ceremony (the "I Do" part) to earlier on to just make sure we were *officially* married. We had such a great experience!

Seamless and Special Experience!
Rabbi David and Cantor Lee are gems of human beings. They hopped on Zoom, FaceTime, and the phone to walk us through every step of our ceremony planning process; from an initial consult call to learn about us and our blended family, to walking us through typical traditions we could or could not include in our ceremony, to helping us troubleshoot ways to integrate multiple family members in our ceremony, answering all my questions about the Jewish religion and a Jewish wedding ceremony, truly everything! They were early to our wedding venue, facilitated the most special ketubah signing, and rocked our ceremony! Cantor Lee has a beautiful voice and Rabbi David shared such special and touching words. As someone who planned a Tampa wedding from Tallahassee, I HIGHLY recommend them as an officiant for a Jewish couple or an interfaith couple (as we are), they were superb, seamless, and made everything so special.

Meeting them is understanding the meaning of Beshert
We interviewed with several Rabbi's for our wedding ceremony. We were having a smaller gathering of 50 as this was not our first marriage and we are both "middle age". While we wanted everything lovely, we also had a budget in mind, so finding the perfect balance was critical. When we contacted Rabbi David and Cantor Lee we were struck by their warmth and personalities and their immediate interest in our story and our life. We met with them several times, over the phone and in-person, and to be perfectly honest we already consider them as friends. As we learned more about the meanings within the traditions of the Jewish Wedding Ceremony from Rabbi David, we found ourselves drawn to study more on our own and that made our ceremony all the more meaningful. The Rabbi and Cantor arrived early on the day of our marriage and performed such a powerful Ketubah ceremony that my wife-to-be was already in tears well before the wedding itself was to begin. We had our Wedding ceremony under a Chuppah that we built ourselves. Note that the Rabbi and Cantor can and will provide one, but we opted to order a Wedding Talit from Israel and set out to design our posts and decorations. Of course, the Rabbi, being so keen, brought this home-made Chuppah creation into his explanations of the symbolism into his ceremony. He helped me in my first wearing of my own Talit and explained to all the meaning of the Talit and so many other articles like the Ketubah and the blessings over the wine. They both brought my departed mother into the joy of the occasion by paying special homage to her life and spirit and lit her a Yartzeit candle in prayer that took family and friends who knew her into tears of loving memory. To be truthful, I don't know if the Rabbi and Cantor know well enough how they bring meaning, purpose, joy and enlightenment to their all important task, but we are forever grateful and they are forever in our hearts. So, do yourself a favor and meet them and you will love them!

I would wholeheartedly recommend Rabbi David Degani to anyone! I really can't say enough good things about Rabbi David. He made our ceremony so special, beautiful and meaningful. He is also just a truly great and kind human being who so obviously loves what he does that it was a pleasure not just to have him as our rabbi but also to get to know him as a person through the process of planning the wedding.
Rabbi David recently married my then fiancee and I in a lovely ceremony in Miami. We worked on the ceremony with Rabbi David from abroad for a few months (we live abroad) and he was super patient and accommodating with us as we worked together thorugh the ideas of what was important to us to have in our ceremony. We are Jewish and reform and he really was able to stand in the line between Jewish religion and tradition on the one hand and what was important to us (egalitarian, personally meaningful). He is also a consumate professional. On the day of not only did he arrive on time but he arrived early so he could make sure to be there!

We were blessed to find Rabbi Degani and Cantor Lee
When my fiancee and I decided to marry, we wanted a Rabbi and her Pastor to marry us. The Rabbi from my Conservative congregation was not allowed to do an interfaith marriage. We found Rabbi Degani online. Cantor Lee was a "bonus," and she was wonderful. They agreed to participate. They were always available, kind, supportive throughout the process whether it was selecting a ketubah or a prayer or working out some logistical issue. Rabbi David spoke with the Pastor, and they worked out the entire ceremony that was written up and presented to us by Rabbi David. Finally, the big day arrived. We met in person for the first time. The Deganis put everyone at ease. They were in command (of themselves and the situation) and comfortable. Pastor Jeff later said that he "made a new friend." It was clear to everyone in attendance that the clergy were enjoying themselves and each other. The ceremony and the reception that followed was beautiful. Diane and I believe that G-d directed us to Rabbi David and Cantor Lee. We given them the "highest score" and our highest recommendation without reservation.

We are from Canada and found Rabbi Degani to perform our daughter's wedding in Florida. We dealt mostly by email and our experience dealing with the Rabbi was easy and smooth. The ceremony was truly beyond our expectations. All of our guests commented on how good the Rabbi was. I cannot think of any negatives in this experience at all.

I want to thank Rabbi David Degan for a fabulous traditional ceremony. His stories made everyone laugh and his personal anecdotal notes about our children and about marriage were extra special. Thank you Rabbi for making our simcha extra special. The ceremony was perfect!

Example of love to all faiths, religions and beliefs
Rabbi David and Cantor Lee played a HUGE role in making our elopement so special. Although Rabbi David had only “met” us via phone 24 hours before we eloped, he somehow connected with our spirits and spoke life and love into our vows. One of my favorite parts of the vows was when Rabbi David used the phrase, “God of all people.” Simply beautiful. Thank you, Rabbi David, for your example of love to all faiths, religions and beliefs.

lovely couple
They are a lovely couple who officiate jewish weddings across the state. They were very responsive to our needs as well as my mothers desires with us being atheists. The service was lovely and they allowed me to choose how we wanted to be pronounced at the end. They also told us what we would need and walked us through the process and explained everything to our guests as well! We also were encouraged to write our own vows and we did so. They were so kind and helpful. 5 stars!

Rabbi David and Cantor Lee Degani knew my husbands' family for years so we felt very comfortable asking them to officiate our wedding. They both did a wonderful job! They welcomed us to their home multiple times to discuss the timeline of the ceremony and answered questions whenever we called or even Face-timed! They were kind, flexible, accommodating and honest. Rabbi David explained the different traditions so that guests of any denomination understand the religious aspects of the ceremony and Cantor Lee sings beautifully! I was so surprised when she sang the text of our Ketubah with only a few minutes to look at it. Although the ceremony was traditional, they kept it lighthearted. They made us feel special and we can’t thank them enough for doing us the honor of blessing our marriage.

Rabbi David and Cantor Lee Degani performed an absolutely beautiful Havdalah and wedding service for my husband and I! It was so heartfelt and moving. We were fortunate enough to spend some time getting to know them and found them to be genuine, sincere, and loving people. They made our ceremony so memorable and many of our guests commented that it was the most beautiful wedding that they had ever attended! There’s so much that goes in to a wedding, but we can honestly say that they played a huge part in our guests being so delighted! We wholeheartedly give them our highest recommendation.

As mother of the groom, we have been with Rabbi David & Cantor Lee for almost 20 years of beautiful life events & day to day living. They took so much time to get to know the Bride & the loving relationship between my son & my precious daughter in law. It was a beautiful interfaith wedding that both families said they will always remember. Cantor Lee’s beautiful voice & Rabbi David’s personality together with the Pastor was a moment in time we all will remember. The love that filled the room was beyond our dreams. Rabbi David conducted a lovely wedding ceremony for us and Cantor Lee's voice is just beautiful! We had a jewish wedding ceremony and they were willing to make any changes that we wanted to the service to make it our own. They were great and went into detail as to what everything we did and what it meant so that our guests could understand what was taking place and the meaning behind everything as many of our guests had never been to a jewish wedding prior to ours. Would recommend to anyone. They drove all the way from Boca to Tavares, Florida!! Great husband/wife officiant/cantor!

My husband is Jewish and I am not, however we wanted as much of a traditional Jewish wedding as we could have. Rabbi David and Cantor Lee married us in the most beautiful and unforgettable ceremony we could’ve ever dreamed of! They are such wonderful, caring, and supportive people and we could not have been happier with how everything turned out. I could not have had a more perfect ceremony, thanks to Rabbi David Degani and Cantor Lee Degani! We contacted Rabbi Degani after it was becoming very difficult to meet with our local Rabbi in regards to our ceremony. We truly believe this happened for a reason. Rabbi Degani and his wonderful wife, Cantor Lee, made the entire experience so personable. From the moment of our first Factime meeting with them, I felt so at ease. They took the time to explain every step of how they conduct the wedding ceremony and offered lots of wonderful advice to make things easier on us in preparing for the ceremony. I absolutely loved that through the entire Jewish ceremony, Rabbi Degani explained each step in a way that my Catholic family knew the meaning behind every action and blessing. All our guests raved about how moving the ceremony was and how beautiful Cantor Lee's singing was. My husband and I cannot thank them enough for their services and for the flexibility and willingness to travel to be with us on our special day.

We are a conservative Jewish couple who had a destination wedding in West Palm Beach. My main concern was finding a Rabbi who would provide a traditional conservative ceremony but would be willing to travel and do it on a beach! Rabbi David and his wife Cantor Lee answered that prayer. Rabbi listened to our needs and understood what we were looking forward. He was prompt in responding to us and he was very flexible about meeting with us over Skype. The ceremony was gorgeous and all my guests really enjoyed the Rabbi. Anyone who uses them for their wedding is very lucky in my opinion :)

Rabbi David did an excellent job as the officiant of our wedding! Rabbi David and Cantor Lee were always very responsive to our different questions. He was very accommodating in arranging to meet with us despite our limited availability. He made an effort to get to know us to personalize our ceremony. During the ceremony itself, he did a great job of explaining the meaning behind all of the Jewish customs for our guests who are not members of the Jewish faith. He also exhibited a nice sense of humor to keep smiles on everyone's faces throughout the ceremony. In addition, he was very helpful in the preparation of our Ketubah. He corrected the mistakes we made and was helpful in proofreading the name translations. We highly recommend Rabbi David!

We found Rabbi Degani though my husbands friends, at first i was slighly not sure about a rabbi in our wedding because this was supposed to be a multi religios wedding catholic and jewish. But at the moment we met David and his wife our decision was made. He is very pleasant, calming and you can be certain he is reliable. We met with them twice, everything was so very organized and he was so very accomodating, he even used some catholic rituals and some spanish verses. The day of the weddibg they were there super early and ready to work, attire super appropriate and as I say they are so calming and friendly. My ceremony was beautiful... Every one still talks about how great my officiants were. Lee has a very angelical voice that totally complemented David's protocol. Over all we are very pleased.

Readily available, knowledge on many faiths, and overall a great Officiant to work worth. We selected Rabbi David based on his online reviews to perform an interfaith marriage. He took time out -late in the evening- to have Skype calls in order to really get to know who we are as individuals and as a couple. With that he put together a very nice wedding Ceremony.
Our Ceremony was short and sweet, but that can be tailored to meet your criteria. Rabbi and Cantor Lee were so kind and really started our wedding day off right!

Rabbi David and his wife, Cantor Lee, were great. My wife and I really appreciate all they did in advance of our wedding, and at the wedding itself. We'll treasure the memories.
Rabbi David worked with us in the weeks leading up to the wedding via Skype calls (we live up north) and did a great job teaching us about wedding religious traditions, and how they would be incorporated into our actual wedding ceremony.
We got married on a Memorial Day weekend, so we were able to do the ceremony on a Sunday. Rabbi David and Cantor Lee traveled up to St. Augustine for the event. We were very pleased with how the whole ceremony went, and Rabbi David did a great job incorporating a Buddhist reading by my mother in law, and a Christian reading by one of my wife's friends, as way of including those elements of her and her family's spiritual backgrounds. We are grateful for all that Rabbi David and Cantor Lee did for our wedding.

When looking for a Rabbi to perform our Amelia Island wedding we were lucky enough to find Rabbi David. He was incredibly professional, always very responsive, and we Just loved our wedding ceremony! We contacted Rabbi Degani after the Rabbi where we live refused to co-officiate at our wedding ceremony with a Catholic priest and instead presented us with the option of having two ceremonies. Rabbi Degani and his wife were absolutely lovely and were truly a breathe of fresh air after what we had been dealing with. We live on the West coast of Florida so they Skyped with us to make arrangements prior to our wedding. Prior to our wedding, Rabbi Degani worked with our local Deacon to construct our interfaith ceremony. In the end, our ceremony was absolutely beautiful and was more than we could have asked for. Rabbi brought along his wife (Cantor Lee) and her singing during the ceremony was absolutely wonderful. I cannot thank them enough for their services and for the flexibility and willingness to travel to be with us on our special day.

They were recommended to us by friends in the Boca Raton area, and we highly recommend them for any occasion because they added such a warm and loving atmosphere to ours. Before our wedding, we met Rabbi David and Cantor Lee via Skype, and found them to be just amazing, so open and joyful. At our wedding, they brought a gorgeous blue velvet chuppah, plus their own microphone and amplifier. They made everything so easy and fun by allowing us to customize our ceremony, and then walking us through it as it happened. Our evening went perfectly, thank God, and we didn't even have a rehearsal!

Rabbi David was a great part of our wedding. Prior to the wedding, he sat down with us for as long as we wanted and helped us discuss and plan the ceremony. He was always responsive when we had follow-up questions. Most importantly, he officiated a wonderful ceremony. He was thoughtful and everyone enjoyed the ceremony. We also had an interfaith marriage and he was flexible and able to work closely with the minister.

Rabbi Degani and his wife, Cantor Lee, did an excellent job for us. They were extremely friendly and worked with us on all the details of our inter-faith wedding ceremony. They were willing to be flexible and work with a Catholic co-officiant in a most cooperative manner. Our ceremony was somewhat unconventional, taking place in a restaurant, and Rabbi Degani made everyone feel welcome. We would highly recommend Rabbi Degani for future couples planning their weddings, especially inter-faith couples.

Rabbi David and Cantor Lee performed a beautiful ceremony for my husband and I. My husband is Jewish and I am Muslim and he was able to guide me through traditions with any and all questions. They are both two warm, loving, and caring people who you can feel are very happy to be a part of your wedding. The ceremony was exactly what we asked for. Cantor Lee has a BEAUTIFUL voice - she sang some prayers and then Rabbi David would recite them and translate them.

My wedding would not have been the same without Rabbi David Degani. He was absolutely wonderful from the day I got in contact with him until the day of our wedding. He provided excellent service, especially as my husband is not Jewish.
We live in London, so we thought it may be difficult to maintain contact with a Rabbi in Miami, but Rabbi Degani was able to keep in contact via email, plus we had regular Skype meetings so we felt like we know each other before we got out to the US.
Before the ceremony we met Rabbi Degani and he was able to explain the service to my husband and his family (plus some of mine!)
Throughout the ceremony he explained what and why the certain Jewish traditions were which really made everyone feel like they were involved.
I cant thank Rabbi Degani enough for what a wonderful wedding I had. He really made it a magical day never to forget.

My husband and I met Rabbi David and immediately clicked with his openness, honesty, clarity, and wisdom. He was not only there for us as a wedding officiant, but as an advisor. I don't belong to a synagogue right now and we were getting married away from home, so it meant a lot to me to find a rabbi that I could feel totally at ease with and have a connection to. And it meant a lot to my husband, who is not Jewish, to have an officiant that both inspired him and made him feel comfortable with a faith that he had not grown up in.
Having Cantor Lee there made the wedding so special. Her voice is magnificent and it was powerful to have a husband/wife team there to perform the ceremony.
Thank you so much Rabbi David and Cantor Lee! I highly recommend both.

Thanks to Rabbi David our wedding was wonderful, all our guest told me that the Rabbi spoke very beautiful to me and my wife.
He came to Mexico City to officate our wedding, and that not so many rabbis do that.
I 100% recommend Rabbi Degani to the officiate any event, I will contact him for future events from my family.
For our wedding he answered all the time our questions, and as a gitf to us the rabbi learned spanish, I don´t know where does he learned it but it was realy fluent.

Rabbi David is an amazing person. So I am not Jewish but my husband is, and he and his family wanted a traditional Jewish wedding. Not the easiest thing to do! I found Rabbi David and from the beginning he was so helpful with making the ceremony exactly what my mother in law wanted for her only son, but also keeping in mind that it was our day and what we envisioned. He walked us threw every step of the process and even provided the beautiful chuppah. Him and his wife canter Lee did an amazing job at the ceremony. It truly was moving and spiritual and everyone was extremely happy. He is my first choice for a Rabbi and we will be using him when we have children.

Rabbi David and Cantor Lee were simply wonderful. We had an inter-faith marriage in South America and they were incredibly accommodating while also guiding us through the process. Rabbi David makes sure that your ceremony is precisely what you want while incorporating jewish traditions along the way. There were family conflicts and a very difficult beginning with Catholic and Jewish traditions being at odds. Rabbi Degani was a terrific confidant, mediator and problem solver. He was right there when we needed him and with compassion and understanding. In the end it was a beautiful ceremony with Rabbi Degani and the priest working together and it looks like this union will end in a happily ever after. I truly appreciate all the Rabbi has done to satisfy all concerned. He really cared and it showed and it helped a lot.

Rabbi Degani was very warm and extremely willing to work with us to create a ceremony that was special for both of us. He fully integrated the bride's family and customs into our interfaith ceremony. He was willing to travel more than 4-5 hours to officiate our wedding. We would highly recommend him for any interfaith ceremony!
