A Ceremony That Felt Personal, Meaningful, and Truly Us
It is hard to put into words just how much care Rabbi Brian put into our wedding ceremony. From our very first meeting, before we even committed to moving forward with him, he guided us through thoughtful questions that helped us articulate our connection to one another and to our Jewish heritage. My husband and I are not particularly religious in the observant sense, but we care deeply about our culture and honoring tradition. Rabbi Brian helped us reconnect to that by reminding us that being Jewish, at its core, is about always doing the right thing, something that has been a guiding light throughout our relationship.
Rabbi Brian also beautifully wove stories from our life together and our relationship journey into the ceremony in a way that felt completely effortless and natural. He made it feel as though he had been along for the ride of our six year relationship, even though we had only met him a short while ago. His attention to detail is truly unmatched, and it meant the world to us.
Beyond how meaningful working with Rabbi Brian was for us, our guests have raved about how enjoyable and engaging our ceremony was. My husband and I do not take ourselves too seriously, and Rabbi Brian allowed our personalities to shine throughout the entire experience. He joked, poked fun, and had the room laughing one moment, then moved everyone to tears of joy the next. He truly honored who we are as a couple while staying true to tradition.

We originally found Rabbi Brian through wedding wire and we’re so happy we did. He has been a pleasure to get to know throughout the months leading up to our wedding and he’s been so helpful. He thoroughly reviewed our custom Ketubah which needed his edits/input and we always felt reassured he had our backs throughout everything. On the wedding day he was warm and made it feel intimate with our family during the ceremony, Ketubah signing, and family blessings, but also added humor when needed and all of our guests kept coming up to us afterwards remarking on how much they loved Rabbi Brian. If you’re looking for a Rabbi you have found him!

The Best Interfaith Rabbi There Is!
We cannot recommend Rabbi Brian Denker highly enough! My wife is Catholic and I am Jewish, and we were navigating the unique and beautiful dynamic of having an interfaith, Catholic wedding. Blending traditions in a way that feels authentic to both families can sometimes be a challenge, but Rabbi Brian navigated this with an incredible amount of professionalism, grace, and warmth.
From our very first meeting, it was clear he was genuinely invested in us as a couple. He was exceptionally flexible, supportive, and highly communicative throughout the entire planning process. Instead of trying to force a pre-set structure or his own agenda on us, he took the time to truly listen to our vision for the ceremony and worked collaboratively with us to make it a reality. He made us feel heard, understood, and respected every step of the way.
On the wedding day itself, his presence was incredibly calming. He delivered an absolutely beautiful, personalized speech that captured our relationship perfectly—it had us (and our guests) smiling, laughing, and crying. To honor my Jewish heritage, he seamlessly led the Sheva Brachot (Seven Blessings) and the traditional breaking of the glass at the end of the ceremony. He managed to weave these important Jewish traditions into the Catholic service so naturally and respectfully that it felt like they always belonged together.

Beautiful service
Rabbi Denker was a pleasure to work with for my son's wedding. I am out of state and he put me at ease that he had the entire ceremony handled. He walked us through everything we needed to have on hand, more than once, without losing patience. His explanation of the ketubah, during the signing, brought me to tears. As this was an interfaith service, he explained the Jewish traditions that were incorporated very beautifully. Rabbi Denker did a great job following my son and daughter-in-law's wishes as to what should be included in the wedding.

A beautiful & personalized ceremony
Rabbi Brian did a wonderful job encapsulating the ceremony with a spiritual sense of humor and emotional depth. There was not a dry eye in the audience due to both laughter and the significance of our commitment. Throughout the night our guests made a point of telling us how beautiful the ceremony was and what a fantastic officiant Rabbi Brian had been. Rabbi Brian was phenomenal from the very first email that we sent him. He was responsive beyond belief and able to answer any and all questions along the way. Rabbi Brian was able to connect with us and make us feel that we had known him for years. Chuppah Ceremony
We are extremely happy with Rabbi Brian Denker. Prior to hiring him, he took the time to speak with me and explain the ceremony, and he even arranged a conference call so my kids could meet him. Before the wedding, we met Rabbi Denker in person with the kids, and he went step by step through the entire chuppah ceremony, making sure everyone felt comfortable and prepared.
On the wedding day, he arrived early, met with the bride and groom, and went over the ceremony once again to ensure everything flowed smoothly. His professionalism, warmth, and guidance were truly beyond expectations. I absolutely recommend Rabbi Brian Denker to anyone looking for a meaningful, organized, and beautiful wedding ceremony.

Rabbi Brian made choosing him for our wedding incredibly easy - he partnered with us on tailoring every aspect of our ceremony to our liking and was very communicative when we had questions or things came up. On the day of the wedding he showed up early and executed everything flawlessly. Our ceremony was on time and I had 1-2 dozen people come up to me later in the evening and tell me how amazing our ceremony and Rabbi was. Rabbi Brian did an absolutely amazing job with our wedding ceremony! He really took the time to get to know us as a couple and customize our ceremony according to our personalities and interests. He was very happy to accommodate our request to have my Uncle (who happens to be a Catholic priest) speak during the ceremony. The Most Incredible Rabbi - Interfaith Wedding
It was an absolute blessing that we found Rabbi Brian while searching for an officiant ahead of our wedding. Our wedding was interfaith - Jewish & Catholic. From our first conversation, my fiancé & I knew that Rabbi Brian would be the perfect person to help us celebrate our special day. He is such a calming presence, is kind, patient, inclusive, funny, informative, & responsive. While I myself am not Jewish, Rabbi Brian took the time to explain & help me understand all of the components of our ceremony that were part of my fiancé's Jewish faith. It truly felt as though every step of the process from planning to the actual ceremony was natural & perfect for us. Our guests are still talking about how incredible our ceremony was - a perfect balance of tradition, humor, & personalization. Rabbi Brian helped us customize our ceremony & was sure to translate everything he said in Hebrew into English & to explain the significance of certain parts of the ceremony so that everyone felt included. My favorite part of our wedding day was the Bedeken - the veiling ceremony. This happened immediately prior to the ceremony & was so special - almost meditative in a way. Rabbi Brian truly has a gift in what he does & it has been such an honor to get to know him!

We had the incredible honor of having Rabbi Brian officiate our interfaith wedding, and we could not have asked for a more meaningful, inclusive, and heartfelt ceremony.
From our very first conversation, Rabbi Brian took the time to truly get to know both of us — our backgrounds, beliefs, and the unique journey that brought us together. As a couple from different faith traditions, we were initially unsure how to blend our cultures in a way that would feel respectful and authentic. He listened carefully and collaborated with us to craft a ceremony that reflected both of our traditions while celebrating our shared values.
On the wedding day, Rabbi Brian created an atmosphere that was spiritual yet accessible to everyone present, regardless of their faith background. The ceremony included beautiful Jewish rituals, while also honoring the Roman Catholic faith and Father Michael the co-officiant in a respectful and inclusive manner. Their words were heartfelt, their presence calming, and their ability to speak to the deeper meaning of love and commitment touched everyone in attendance.

The best officiant you can ask for for a Jewish wedding
Rabbi Brian was excellent, one of the highlights of planning our wedding. He was great in our initial meeting, asking the perfect questions to get to know us as people, our story, and what we love about each other. He was very responsive, answering emails at all hours of the day, and answered all questions we had and was very patient when our questions repeated themselves. His ceremony was beautiful, and provided the right mix of humor and seriousness while remaining engaging and thoughtful throughout. He has a real way with words and respected all decisions that we made. His pricing is also very reasonable. He was absolutely wonderful, and I would highly recommend him.

Highlight Of Our Day!
Rabbi Denker's services blew us away. He knows how to conduct a beautiful ceremony. We got so many compliments of how eloquent of a speaker he is and how inclusive he made our ceremony. We had quite a few guests who had never been to a Jewish wedding ceremony before and he did an amazing job explaining the traditions and customs. He’s Brooklyn-based, so the fact that he came up to the Hudson Valley for us was a huge plus. He was also very attentive and made our ceremony personal to us. Wonderful, professional, polished Rabbi
We could not have been happier with our experience working with Rabbi Brian, who presided over our weddig on 6/1/2024. We interviewed several rabbis after we became engaged, but we agreed immediately after meeting with Rabbi Brian that we'd be lucky to have him. He is a Pro's pro, and we loved the combination of personalization and organization he brought. Working with him, he put the ceremony, down to the smallest of details, on paper for us more than a month before the big day. With all of the things that stress you out leading up to a wedding, we had NO concerns Rabbi Brian would do a wonderful job. And on that day, he delivered. He is a great presenter, delivering a heartfelt message and explaining the symbolism of various Jewish traditions in a way that was meaningful to all who attended, regardless of their religious affiliation. In fact, we had many guests ask if we had known Rabbi Brian for years due to the personal nature of the ceremonty. We will certainly hope to use him again in the future!

Great choice for our interfaith wedding
Rabbi Brian officiated our 5/26/24 wedding at Crest Hollow Country Club. I am Jewish, my husband is not. Rabbi Brian is very well-versed in interfaith weddings and everything went off incredibly well - the aspects of a traditional ceremony that we wanted were there, but Rabbi Brian also matched our energy well and was so open about incorporating different traditions into our ceremony. Highly recommend for any interfaith couples looking to honor multiple traditions!

Excellent Rabbi
Rabbi Denker is fantastic. Even over a month later everytime we get a call from our guests they still talk about how amazing he was. We met Rabbi Denker after stepped in for us when our previous Rabbi sadly passed away only a few weeks before our wedding day. Under the circumstances we were incredibly nervous about how the ceremony would go. We did not need to be. He managed to take the time to craft a ceremony that was both meaningful and personal to the two of us. The ketubah ceremony in particular was very moving. If you need a Jewish interfaith ceremony we cannot recommend Rabbi Denker enough.

Rabbi Brian Denker exceeded all our our expectations!!! From the moment we met, Rabbi Brian was friendly, funny, and accommodating to our needs. It felt as if we have known him for years. Rabbi Brian created an extremely personalized ceremony, and I could not have been happier with how perfect the ceremony went. On the day of our wedding, we started with the Ketubah signing. My husband and I were able to spend this special moment our parents and grandparents. When it was time for the ceremony, everything ran on time and smoothly. The ceremony was funny, emotional and heartfelt. Our guests were so impressed with Rabbi Brian. His sense of humor was comforting. My husband and I are so thrilled that Rabbi Brian was able to marry us, and we will continue to have Rabbi Brian a part of our special moments forever!

Rabbi Brian gave us a ceremony to remember!
Rabbi Brian was so great, we definitely recommend him. He married us in our backyard. Communication was excellent. We had a few meetings before so he could get to know us and craft a custom ceremony fit to our needs and wants. We incorporated some jewish traditions while removing and modernizing others. Everyone loved the ceremony; he explained the meaning of everything, and kept it short and sweet. The wedding happened to fall on Rosh Hashanah and he was still willing to do it!

A Wedding We Will Treasure
Rabbi Brian officiated at our wedding on 8/6. He was fabulous!! I love the way he personalized our ceremony to include not only our love for each other but our love for our dogs, two of whom were included in the ceremony. He explained all religious aspects of the service so those of all faiths could feel included. Rabbi Brian kept the service light but still adhered to tradition. Furthermore, he invited participation among the guests. We couldn't have been happier with Rabbi Brian, both as our officiant and the friend that he ultimately became.

We love Rabbi Brian!
We hired Rabbi Brian after our rabbis told us they would not marry us on a Saturday night in the summer. Rabbi Brian was super flexible and made the whole process easy. All of our guests raved about our ceremony and said it was so nice. We asked Rabbi Brian to keep our ceremony around 25 minutes so that we wouldn't melt in the sun and he did just that! He also lead a private moment during our Ketubah signing which had my husband and I in tears. It was one of the highlights of our day! You can't go wrong with Rabbi Brian, he is kind, well spoken, flexible and truly cares about his couples.

The only choice
Rabbi Brian made our wedding ceremony especially memorable. From the Zoom calls getting to know us, to the ceremony review and finally the big day, Rabbi Brian went above and beyond and made our ceremony fun and extra meaningful. Given my wife is Jewish and I am Christian, we thought it would be harder to find a Rabbi willing to officiate a cross-faith couple, but this was absolutely a non-issue. Our wedding guests kept asking us, "where did we find the Rabbi, he's so great". Many guests really enjoyed how Rabbi Brian would lightly explain different aspects of the Jewish ceremony to the attendees, who may not understand the significance or history behind a certain tradition. This light approach made, mixed with some humor, made it extra special. We could tell Rabbi Brian really enjoys what he does, we are so thankful to Rabbi for officiating us and we would highly recommend him to officiate your big day!

This was our families third wedding in 10 years with Rabbi Brian officiating. In addition to his spirituality, his kindness and ability to relate to each of the particpants and guests helped to created the warm event that we wished to create. Rabbi Denker really made our wedding memorable. He officiated our multi-denominational wedding with my wife's minister. He was so organized and really came through with unique readings that made us feel special but still traditional enough to make our parents happy. He cares. He was attentive. A blessing of an officiant!
Rabbi Brian was the absolute perfect officiant for our Mexican-Jewish wedding! It was important to me to have a Jewish wedding, but my husband is not Jewish and did not convert. It was difficult to find a Rabbi to marry us, especially one who would not require us to commit to raising our children Jewish and have Judaism be the only religion around the house - a commitment that we were not ready to make.
We really wanted to incorporate Mexican tradition into our ceremony and Rabbi Brian did a stellar job at this - not only seamlessly incorporating the specific traditions we mentioned but also making other suggestions that ended up being total hits, like having our mariachi band play Siman Tov u Mazel Tov after we broke the glass! He was lighthearted, funny and kind. So many of our guests raved about the ceremony and specifically about how great Rabbi Brian was - and this came from both our Jewish and non-Jewish friends and family.
It was also wonderful to work with a Rabbi who felt closer in age & tradition to us than our grandparents (lol)! From the beginning, we felt like Rabbi Brian understood what we wanted and that he could relate to us. The entire process of getting to know each other and crafting our ceremony was easy and enjoyable. He broke things down into easy choices and decisions, was super flexible, and gave us many opportunities to make things more or less traditional where we wanted to. We also had a last-minute change to our ceremony that Rabbi Brian took in stride and executed perfectly and without asking us any questions, which was SO appreciated with all of the craziness of our wedding day.
We are so happy we found Rabbi Brian. It was a blessing to have him officiate our wedding. Overall, we could not recommend Rabbi Brian enough, and we hope to work with him again for future Lifecycle events!

An Incredible Rabbi
Rabbi Denker worked so hard to make our wedding experience with him perfect. He was always available, responded within a maximum of a few hours of emailing him, and met with us on numerous occasions to make our day perfect.
He also moved up another engagement when we requested that he be there earlier than usual for our rehearsal. He's a pleasure to work with and we really enjoyed our experience with him.

Great Rabbi and Wedding Officiant
From the start, Rabbi Brian was very nice, helpful, friendly, informative and flexible. He met with us via video chat several times and provided additional time to explain about the traditions that he would include in our ceremony. We knew he was definitely the officiant that we wanted on our wedding day. He was always very fast in responding to emails throughout the process and helped find the ideal ketubah. The ketubah signing and wedding ceremony was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Rabbi Brian did an outstanding job. Our guests provided compliments and enjoyed the ceremony very much. He was exactly what we were looking for with regard to being open, non-judgmental, funny, and kind.
We especially loved how he managed to craft such a wonderful ceremony given how non-traditional our wedding ended up being... because we had gotten married in a microwedding the year prior (due to covid). Rabbi Denker did an incredible job integrating Jewish elements with secular elements and doing a concurrent baby-naming ceremony for our 3-month old.

Beautiful Interfaith Ceremony
Rabbi Brian Denker created a beautiful interfaith ceremony with Pastor Marilyn Harris. Although we were stressed about switching officiants a week before the wedding, he made sure that we got to video chat beforehand and get to know each other. I would highly recommend Rabbi Brian. We are not very religious but we wanted more of the spiritual and traditional aspects of a Jewish wedding and he was able to do just that. He is definitely more reasonably priced then any other rabbi that we looked into. He is kind and friendly, you can tell he really cares to make sure he can make the ceremony as special as can be. Also if you have a Saturday day wedding and still want a Rabbi he is willing to do it, that is what I had.

We used Rabbi Brian for our wedding last Friday 10/10/14 and were very happy with the ceremony. He kept it very short but meaningful just at the grooms request. Although it was a short ceremony he made sure he added in the little things that counted so the memories would last a lifetime. He incorporated some Jewish tradition and kept it very simple just how we had asked. We were Very pleased and would use Rabbi Brian again in the future .

Rabbi Denker-Youngs provided an incredible service for our wedding and our whole family loved it. He didn't just run a beautiful ceremony, but made sure we were connected with vendors for the ketubah and chuppah. After everything was over, we didn't feel like we just had a rabbit for our wedding, but had made a lifelong friend.

Rabbi Brian officiated our wedding and he was wonderful! He worked with us at every step, and was very responsive and helpful. We went forward with our outdoor ceremony even though it was raining and he didn't miss a beat, even as we were all getting soaked. Highly recommend

Rabbi Brian took the time to sit and speak with my wife and I and find out why we want to get married. He discussed his own decision to marry with us and at every step was able to share his own life experience with us. He was very generous with his time and went over each step of the marriage ceremony with us so we could tailor it and make it special for us and our guests. Our friends continue to compliment us on our wedding and the day began with Rabbi Brian's very thoughtful ceremony. We are forever grateful that we met him.

Rabbi Brian was excellent. He did everything possible to incorporate religious and spiritual aspects into our interfaith marriage, just as we had requested. He was considerate and really took the time to get to know us, in order to make our day special. He was very responsive and thankfully gave us plenty of ideas when we were kind of at a loss as to what our ceremony should entail. I highly recommend Modern Divinities and Rabbi Brian.

From the moment we met Rabbi Brian, we knew we wanted him to be our wedding officiant. Not only did he make us feel super comfortable like we were family, but he's also a great guy and really cares to get to know the couple as best he can. Through a couple of meetings we had together, he helped us craft together a ceremony that reflected both our values (me coming from a Jewish background and hubby coming from a Catholic one) On our wedding day he arrived at least 45 minutes early, which we truly appreciated. Our ceremony was perfect!! It truly reflected everything we wanted. And he immediately turned in all of our paperwork for us. We truly appreciate all of Brian's hard work to ensure that our wedding was perfect. Thank you so much!

Rabbi Brian was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. During our initial meeting, he spent time getting to know us and made us feel comfortable with our beliefs and style. He was very responsive and easy to get in touch with throughout the planning process. We changed our minds about the type of ceremony we wanted to have about midway through and Rabbi Brian was incredibly flexible and helped us through the process. Rabbi Brian was absolutely incredible to work with. Unlike most officiants my wife and I met with, Rabbi Brian truly felt like part of our wedding throughout the process. Amidst all of the typically planning crazy-ness and stress, Rabbi Brian did a great job of keeping everyone relaxed, happy, and focused on the truly important stuff.
The ceremony was pitch-perfect. Rabbi Brian allowed our personalities to really shine through and incorporated all of our wishes, including some fun last minute touches.

Not only cool and hip, Rabbi Youngs offered us a fresh of breath air in finding the right balance of religious traditions and a modern world.
