Exceptional work

I have nothing but the best to share about David and Jody. They are incredible individuals who are passionate about what they do and make the process such a joy. When we met David at a bridal show my fiancé and I knew immediately that we wanted to work with him. They captured stunning pictures for our engagement and we are so eager to see what they do for our wedding. Do not hesitate R&R Creative photography is worth it! Wonderful to work with!

R&R came highly recommended to me and they didn't disappoint! I hired them for my son's bar mitzvah, which is basically a wedding for a 13 year old 😂 They are simply pros! They new exactly what to shoot and how to get the best pics for our family. They captured us perfectly and I'm lucky to have them as part of our journey!

Great Experience

David and Jody were amazing to work with. They shot both our engagement photos and our wedding. They took some amazing engagement photos of us with our dog, which is hard to do because he does not like to sit still for very long. At our wedding, even though it was a venue they had not worked with before, they researched the area and came up with great picture ideas for the day of our wedding. Additionally, Jody is especially good with keeping kids engaged long enough to take quality photos.

Another nice thing David and Jody did was suggest doing most of our wedding photos before our ceremony. This allowed my wife and I to really enjoy the entire wedding and spending time with our friends and family rather than try to get through a bunch of photos with everyone right after the ceremony. I would recommend David and Jody to everyone!

Amazing Photo’s

Jody & David, as the mother of the groom, I can say they were so personable, professional, down right great couple. They worked with us the entire long day and night plus covered every beautiful detail. The picture’s came out so Magical, they caught every moment. My son and his beautiful wife just loved them. Stellar! Book them, you won’t regret it!

Jody and David are absolutely fantastic! I met them at a bridal show in Valencia as I was looking for vendors for my May 2022 wedding. I was immediately charmed by their warmth and enthusiasm about what they do. Viewing a sample wedding album was the cherry on top, and I booked them within days of the bridal show. Throughout the entire planning process, they were so attentive and flexible. An engagement shoot was included in our package and they made my husband and I feel very comfortable and at ease. They also introduced us to our suit shop for my husband, my brother (his best man), and my father. They were extremely helpful, patient, and flexible. I booked them because of that first warm disposition I felt when I met them, because it was important to me to have good people surrounding my wedding day, people I knew would make me feel my best and keep my day magical. On my wedding day, they did just that! All of our guests loved them as well— they made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera and were extremely efficient in their work. Every time I look through our wedding album, I cry from sheer joy and appreciation of the beauty of their work! It is simply unmatched. If you have the opportunity to work with Jody and David, do! You won’t regret it!

A Perfect Match

We met David and Jody who are the owners of R and R Creative Photography at the Bellisima Bridal show in February 2022. We scheduled the initial one hour getting to know you appointment a couple weeks later that turned into 2+ hours of getting to know each other and when we left, we said we want them to be our wedding photographers.

The major reasons for choosing R and R were:
-They offer unlimited time the day of the wedding while other wedding photographers offer packages by the hour.
-They always have a minimum of 2 photographers.
-We felt very comfortable talking with them about the vision for our wedding.
-Some people are not very photogenic and they were able to address our concerns from day one.

They shot our engagement photos at Placerita Nature Center in June 2022. Again, the one hour engagement session turned into over two hours of shooting. The photos exceed our expectations in every way. Fast forward to April 2, 2023 and our wedding day and David and Jody exceeded our expectations again. They made everyone feel comfortable including those that are not photogenic. They were there from the time we got ready until the last guest left. We were able to see a sneak peek this past weekend and the little photos we saw were phenomenal!

We recommend them to everyone we know and if we need photos in the future, we will definitely be calling David and Jody from R and R Creative Photography.

David & Jody Put us at ease

From the engagement shoot through the wedding day, David&Jody made us feel very at ease. Their vision for perfect locations, and positions, is in our opinion very rare indeed. Their attention to detail is paramount to them. At our wedding they both stayed longer than necessary in order to get a very unique picture at dusk. If you select R&R please understand if they are busy, be patient, you will find it was well worth it

Brilliant!!

I knew from the get go that David and Jodi were going to be our photographers, having worked with them with other events (I work on the event rental side of weddings). R&R Photography were great!

R&R Photography are a great local photography company. When searching for the right photographers for our wedding, David and Jody were always so prompt at responding. They responded to our emails and phone calls in a well timely manner. Any questions or ideas we had, they executed our vision. We had a great experience during our engagement photos, and throughout our wedding day, any candid or impromptu photos we wanted, they were able to capture it! At the end of our wedding night, we ended up finding out that they also photographed for my parents and my aunts and uncles. I recommend R&R Photography to anyone looking for photographers doing it right the first time. Amazing team! 10/10 would recommend!

The Best Photographers

David and Jody are beyond wonderful! From the first meeting they immediately felt like old friends and put us at such ease. They engage so well with the whole family. You just have fun around them and so you relax and forget the stress of the day and just feel the joy, and the photos they capture are amazing. Just gorgeous photos. My kids look like models! We used them for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah in January, 2020, and the kids absolutely loved working with them too! We are excited to be using them for our next daughter's Bat Mitzvah in 2022 and I wouldn't want any other photographers for our special occasions in the future. Highly recommend!

Personable, Friendly, and Professional

Jody and David were a joy to work with for our engagement photo session. They were energetic and fun, and had lots of great ideas on which locations would be best for our shoot. When rain canceled our original photo shoot day, Jody and David were flexible and able to reschedule for another day without issue. They are very personable photographers, and make you feel very comfortable in front of the camera. Lastly, the end product looks terrific and we will cherish them for decades to come.

Amazing photographer

It was not easy to get engaged in the middle of the Covid 19 pandemic but Jody and David made it a great experience for us. From first meeting them in person at their studio, my fiancé and I knew they were the perfect fit to capture or special day. From just talking with them both, you can tell have years of experience and extreme passion and love for what they do. Upon looking at their work, you can see just how creative they are. We did our engagement session with them at the beach in November 2020. They made the whole experience a blast and captured some beautiful and amazing shots. We got the pictures back a few weeks later and we're in love with every single shot. Our wedding is not till October 2021, but I can’t wait to have them shoot our special day!

Absolutely fantastic!

Amazing Photographers

David and Jody are amazing to work with. I have known them and seen their work for over 25 years. They've done my siblings Bar and Bat Mitzvahs as well as mine. When I found the right person to spend the rest of my life with, it was a no brainer to go with David and Jody to capture my special day. It's very uncomfortable and awkward meeting vendors during this process, but my Fiancé was completely put at ease when meeting them. My Fiancé and I are both believers of Murphy's Law, and she had tons of "what if" questions to ask. Their experience can't be overstated, and it always shows in their work. We did our engagement shoot, which was included in the package with them, and our save the dates with them. We're extremely excited for our wedding day, and we're thankful that we have R & R to capture all the moments for us.

Absolute dream to work with

David and Jody were incredible to work with. My husband and I were planning a long distance wedding and going into it blind so we were a bit nervous. They understood where we were coming from and made the whole process very easy while still being professional. We met with David before the wedding to go over last minute details and David suggested we arrive to our venue early so we can get our pictures done then. Something we didn't think of was that due to our November wedding if we had waited till after the ceremony to take pictures we would have lost sunlight. I am so grateful that we had David suggest us to take the pictures first! The day of the wedding they made family and friends feel very comfortable and I am so grateful that we went with R&R Photography for our pictures.

We will definitely be using them again if we are back in California.

Engagement Photo Session Achievement Unlocked

I loved our engagement session with David and Jody. I was very excited because pictures are kinda a big deal for me in particular. When I was at bridal shows I could really tell the difference in their work displayed. Their work really hit me in the feels so I decided to splurge a bit and go with them as my photographer. There are less expensive photographers out there but I think that David and Jody are really worth it. I enjoyed the engagement session and they were able to make my fiancé, who is typically a quieter person around strangers, feel comfortable and smile. The session felt comfortable and the time flew by. I love the photos and now I cannot wait even more for my wedding

What a memorable experience that we will treasure for a lifetime!

We met David and Jody at R&R Creative Photography a couple of years ago at a bridal show. Since then, we have seen them at other bridal shows and have gotten to know them. When it was time to book our photographer for our wedding, we knew that we needed to have David and Jody on our vendor team. We met for hours to get to know each other and plan our special day. David and Jody take great pride in getting to know their clients on a personal level. In April of 2019, we did our engagement session at Placerita Nature Center in Santa Clarita. It felt as though we were hanging out with old friends; we joked, we laughed, and we were able to show our true selves in these pictures because David and Jody made us feel so comfortable. They built that relationship with us and we are so grateful that they did because it made the whole process so memorable. Our pictures are stunning and the angles and lighting that they captured were beyond what we ever expected. We look forward to sharing our special day with them on July 20, 2019 as we become husband and wife.

The Best Photographers In the Game Period!

We just did our engagement pictures with R&R Photogrpahy and cannot overtstate how much we enjoyed working with David and Jody! They are both consummate proffesionals, perfectionists and Masters of their craft! They made sure we were very comfortable throughout the shoot and went out of their way to see to it that we enjoyed the entire process. We are doing a Hollywood themed wedding and boy did they hit it out of the park with the concepts we came up with. We were excited about hiring them for our wedding before, but now we are even more so after seeing our amazing engagement pictures! They literally are the most talented photography duo out there!!!

Best photographers!!!!

Where do I begin?! Jody and David are truly AMAZING! They created a super comfortable environment upon entering their shop for the first time! They were very specific about their services and answered every question we had. Due to uncooperative weather, we had to reschedule our engagement session 3 times. They were very understanding and worked with our schedule. We finally took our engagement phots, and we seriously felt so comfortable throughout the entire session! I recommend doing the engagement session, as it gives you an opportunity to engage with the photographers, and prepare you for the wedding! We had an amazing time at beach, and I can’t wait for them to capture our special moments! Jody and David are the best, sooooo, book them! I promise you’ll be 100% satisfied!!!!!

Amazing Experience

Joel and I really enjoyed having Dave, Jody and their team as our photographers. Planning a wedding long distance was difficult but Dave and Jody were on point with their photography AND with gave us pointers on the ins and outs on wedding planning and the local vendors in the area. Their years of experience and brought comfort and ease on the big day and allowed this bride to remain calm and enjoy her special day. The photos were divine! Joel and I are still having a difficult time deciding which ones we would like in our album.

David and Jody are simply the best. We used them for our wedding in 2009 and it was the best decision we made. Our photos are beautiful and captured everything about that day. We spent a long time searching for our wedding photographers and after many interviews, we decided on R&R creative photography. After exchanging a few emails and phone calls we made an in person appointment to meet David and Jody. From the first meeting with David and Jody, we felt comfortable and confident in their skills, organization and creative ideas. In fact, it felt as if we had known them for some time. They were very friendly, funny and just a great pair to work with. They incorporated our ideas and elaborated on them with suggestions and opinions throughout the process. They gave plenty of planning tips and made lots of suggestions that looking back were super helpful.

We hired R & R to shoot our upcoming wedding in June after meeting David at a bridal show. We instantly loved the photos he had shown us of past weddings he had shot. He and Jody are amazing! From the beginning of my search for a photographer for our wedding last year I was apprehensive. Our dream wedding in Yosemite was no longer possible so we were having a backyard wedding at my parents house. I was so nervous that the pictures would look like it was just a wedding in a yard. So I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had met a few photographers but hadn’t been moved to hire one until I met David. From the moment we began communicating David was always professional and easy to work with. My mom and I met with him and knew instantly he was the one we wanted. Just a feeling you get when you know. I still had the concern about the pictures in the backyard and not the beautiful trees of Yosemite. I was so surprised and thankful that David asked if he could come to see the location a few days before the wedding to scout out locations and see how the light was. I would have never expected anyone to do that, but it is just how he does things and I think that makes him great! Our wedding came and it was beautiful. David was early and ready to go so there was no delay in getting the before pictures. The night of the wedding was so amazing and I wish I could say I remember it all but I was all over the place and so excited to marry the love of my life. When the pictures were ready for viewing there was an easy online catalog for me and my mom to view. Seeing all of the amazing pictures brought back all the stuff my mind skipped over that night. We found R & R creative photography through our venue and we are so lucky we did! We absolutely love the work that David and Jody did for us. My fiancé and I were very nervous about hiring a photographer on fear that our photos wouldn’t come out freat (we have heard some horror stories), but it was completely opposite.

Our first meeting with David went so well. He was super personable and made us feel very comfortable. It was great getting to know him as he walked us through all the pricing options and all the awesome albums and packages.

We just recently had our engagement photo session and it was just like hanging out with friends. It wasn’t awkward at all and made it so easy to pose in a the couple poses your supposed to do for engagement photos.

Our biggest problem with David and Jody was that we could just pick one picture for our save the dates. They were all just sooo good! They really did an amazing job and I can’t wait for my big day to see them work their magic all over again!

I never met such a wonderful couple like these two photographers. David and Jody are such humble and genuine people . They really will go out of there way to make you and your partner happy. No words can express how much they helped me and my husband wedding planning. NOT only did they provide excellent service but there recommendations for flowers, cake, wedding dress and wedding coordinators was extremely helpful. I actually hired all the vendors they recommended lol and I couldn't be more pleased with. They had such wonderful suggestions and so down to earth. We really enjoyed having Dave and Jody as our photographers. Not only are THEY great, but the team they put together was amazing. We decided to use David and Jody as our wedding photographers after interviewing another company. David and Jody are very wonderful people who are extremely personable, fun and helped keep me calm, cool and collected. I absolutely hate getting my picture taken, but they made me feel so at ease during our engagement session and our wedding day, it was so much easier to get through the day. Jody goes the extra mile consistently. For our engagement session, which is included in their price -- double bonus!, Jody climbed in bushes and went into streams to ensure they got the best shots. Our engagement session was so fantastic, we used one of the photos as our new Family portrait that we have hanging in our living room and we also used it at our wedding. For our wedding on September 30, 2017, both Jody and David were fabulous. Despite Jody not feeling well, she showed up and did a magnificent job. She even helped me into with my dress! When I was stressing out, Jody's calm demeanor and wit was exactly what I needed. She was totally prepared with things I hadn't even thought of. David is funny and has a way of getting people to relax and have fun during the photo sessions, which helps in getting those great shots. David and Jody make an awesome team. We have so many truly beautiful pictures, both posed and candid, that captured our day. We are so grateful to David and Jody for their professionalism and expertise in helping us keep wonderful memories of our special day.

There are not enough positive things I can say about David and Jody. We first started working with David and Jody in 2015 on our engagement photos. While those pictures took our breath away, our wedding pictures and album could not have been more stunning as it perfectly captured the essence of our most memorable day. Now, with a bundle of joy along the way, we just completed our maternity photos with David and Jody. This is obviously a special moment in life and we wouldn't trust anyone else to capture this special time. They really are our family photographer and can't wait to see the pictures they capture of our first child.

Obviously, David and Jody are very talented, but what makes them so special is their love and care for their clients. They have a special way of making everyone around them feel so comfortable, which not only leads to beautiful pictures, but also makes for an easy day for everyone involved. They are a must have for your wedding day and beyond.

They were very considerate of our situation and worked with us. Both David and Jody were great during our engagement shoot. The photos turned out great and had so many great photos to choose from. On our wedding day both David and Jody fabulous. My husband and I decided to do a first look and they were great setting up the scene so my now husband would not see me until I was ready. They worked great with the time we had and very coordinated. Throughout the whole evening, they were there to get the family pictures and were everywhere gathering all our special moments. We cannot wait to see our wedding photos!

I could not say enough wonderful things about David and Jody with R&R. They are some of the most wonderful people I have ever met and I am so excited they will be photographing our wedding! My fiance and I felt like we were meeting with part of our family and there was no pressure at all during our consultation. Our engagement pictures turned out so amazing, they even got our dog to cooperate! David and Jody are an amazing pair to work with. We are so happy we chose them as our photographers. From the very beginning when we met them at a bridal show we noticed how many vendors used them for their pictures/albums, we knew they were good! Once we talked, we felt super comfortable, they were fun and super friendly and we knew we had to have them for our wedding.
Whether it was by phone or email, they were always good at responding/calling back with any questions or appointments that needed to be set up. They are just amazing, very organized and they truly know how to do their job.
For our engagement photos, they were very helpful in helping us choose a location. Once we did, we were very pleased with the way they worked and the ideas they had for our pictures. The lighting, the poses, the location, it was just great! Once we saw all our pictures we were just amazed that they would turn out so good! I was so excited to know they were doing our wedding photos as well because I knew we would not be disappointed.
Before the wedding, we went over all our information and details and they made sure everything was covered. From early that morning in getting ready, to taking our first look photos, and what time we were heading to the ceremony and reception. Our first look was something I was hesitant about at first but, David and Jody made me realize how much I would regret not doing them, and they were totally right. I am so thankful they convinced me to get those pictures done before the ceremony, we were able to get so many pictures during that time and they were honestly some of the best we have from that whole day. I cannot wait to get all the wedding pictures, I've had a chance to look at them briefly and I am just so excited to know our wedding day was beautifully captured.

David and Jody are absolutely fantastic! We recently did our engagement shoot with them. They were actually the ones that offered to have our dogs in the pics, which was great because we know taking pics with doggies isn't easy! It's also great having two photographers because they both have their own style and artistic view, so you end up getting many different angles, lighting, etc. for the same photo. They were really fun to work with during the shoot and made us feel comfortable, and laugh! And Jody worked SO hard to make our save-the-dates perfect!!!

I cannot even begin to say THANK YOU to David and Jody! Cameron and I loved working with them so much. We were able to see very quickly how passionate they are about what they do. It shows in their pictures. All I have to say is if you want to LOVE your engagement and wedding pictures, hands down, no questions… go with R & R Creative Photography.
Both David and Jody did our engagement session, and the pictures turned out even better than I could have imagined!! The engagement session was included in the wedding package but they spent so much time with us in Santa Monica capturing the perfect pictures!! I couldn’t believe how much time they spent with us. I never felt rushed by them or like they didn’t have enough time for us. They listed to what we wanted and captured it perfectly!!
David photographed our wedding this past weekend (6/4/16) with his assistant Diane and they were WONDERFUL!!! I cannot wait to see our pictures. We had an outside wedding and it was soooooooo hot and David and Diane never complained, they just kept going and capturing all the moments. They made me feel so comfortable. They don’t have a time limit like other photographers do… they stayed until late into the reception to capture everything. At the wedding, I also never felt rushed by David or Diane. They were very calm and directed people into their correct positions. It was hard to gather some family for the big extended family picture but they calmly waited while we gathered everyone. David stayed calm in the wedding chaos that it kept me calm and I got to enjoy my wedding.

Jody & David were wonderful to work with. It was our second marriage for both of us so we weren't going to do the engagement photos. Jody and David are simply the best! They were front and center for our entire wedding day...the pictures came out amazing and the picture book came out even better! They are not just great photographers; they are great people and an inspiration to be around. They recently just did our first born son's newborn baby photos, they turned out so amazing! Jody and David are so awesome. They highly suggested doing an engagement photo session to help them get to know us, how to shoot us, etc prior to the wedding. We had already done one with a friend and weren't 100% up to it. But man are we glad we did it. These two are just simply amazing - they knew all the angles and knew how to get all the best shots. When my son and his wife were planning their wedding, they asked me which photographer to pick. My answer was simple – R&R Creative Photography. Wedding planning is stressful. You want everything perfect! And when the day is over all you have are memories and your photographs. For these reasons you want to hire the best and there isn’t a photographer around that fits this description better that R&R Creative Photography!

It all starts with meeting the bride and groom informally for their engagement photos. This gives David & Jody a chance to get to know the couple in a relaxed setting and learn how to capture them in the most relaxed way! This fun session lets everyone know they will be in good hands come wedding day. R&R will go just about anywhere to give you the first glance at their beautiful artistry so be creative in your choice of locations for added excitement.

R & R Creative Photography are true professionals. We had an absolutely wonderful experience working with them. One of the things that they recommended to us was doing the “First Look” before the ceremony. While many couples feel they should not see the bride before the ceremony, this was a brilliant idea and we are so glad we did it. It creates a smooth and easy transition for your guests who are not waiting around after the ceremony while all the family pictures are rushed. Instead, we had the opportunity to take as many photos as we wanted, with no rush or pressure, and when you have a big family on both sides of the wedding, this was a godsend. Also you are at your best, fresh, no makeup touches needed, you look the best for your pictures. The first look is also really special in the way they set it up, after my bride to be was finished getting ready, they brought her down in a way that I did not see her till I turned around and I still get to be surprised in that special “First Look” and it was amazing. I cannot recommend enough that couples do their pictures before the ceremony, as it just makes everything so much easier and pressure free. Your guests will appreciate it too.
David and Jody are an incredible team working together. They are very experienced and know their stuff. The pictures come out amazing and they are a dream to work with. 5 stars across the board.

If I could give David and Jody more than 5 STARS I would (10 out of 10.) They are just terrific people and the most talented photographers. During the process of finding a photographer for our wedding we came across R&R Creative Photography. My husband wasn't too convinced. He was convinced he could find someone else that could do the same quality work for less money. Boy, he was wrong. In most cases you get what you pay for and it wouldn’t be wise to place a gamble like that on your WEDDING DAY! I am so glad Dave was there to answer all our questions and convince my husband that they were the right choice and FIT for us. It is more than just hiring a vendor. You want to have chemistry with them too! If you don't get along with your photographer or don’t feel relaxed and comfortable around them, then your pictures will sure show it! Dave and Jody are so pleasant and easy to work with. Most couples get to know their photographers during their engagement session, but that wasn’t the case for us. However, even though we didn't do an engagement session with them, we got along so well the day of our wedding. It was like having extended family come over and catch up with us. We LOVE them both very much! They don't just do the bare minimum. They will go ABOVE AND BEYOND to meet all your needs and requests. I booked 2- PHOTOGRAPHERS and instead got 3 for my wedding because they brought along a lovely young lady. There was more than enough coverage for our special Wedding day. They have an eye for things most people wouldn't see and they're work is incredible. We were lucky enough to do our engagement and wedding photos with them. The kids were relaxed and had so much fun taking the shots, and they look fabulous! I wanted to buy the whole set! That just set the stage for the wedding photos and what a great job they did!
David and Jody are incredibly talented (and their assistant too), they have a fabulous eye for detail and 'the pose' and they make every shot fun! They took it in stride when the wedding party were running late, worked easily and effortlessly around the family as they arrived, and created some amazing shots at both venues we were using! When the ring bearer had had 'enough' they brought out goodies to encourage him to just do one more pose and he was all for it! They were professional, they knew how to bring the smiles out in everyone and they work well with any setting and situation! David and Jody have a gift - and as one one reviewer said - look no more, you have found your photographers! We would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a fabulous experience!

Where do I begin?

David and Jody Ross, or what I can easily refer to them as, the "Dynamic Duo of Photography," have captured a special moment in our lives that is nothing short of irreplaceable. From the moment we met them, they made us feel comfortable and very much approachable in terms of providing our own opinions and thoughts with positive feedback. They met and stayed with us well passed their closing hours to show us samples and go over package options to work around our budget. David and Jody went above and beyond with providing us a package option that fit our budget and met our needs to capture and cherish our memories.

They were very patient with us in choosing a location for our engagement shoot as we were very unsure and indecisive. They met with us locally ready and confident in what their goals were and proceeded to guide us through the shoot. We have never posed for pictures before nor have we ever been instructed to do so, but this amazing duo walked us through every step and every turn to ensure unforgettable pictures. They made us laugh, and they made us comfortable, making this experience very much enjoyable as it was near disheartening to say good-bye when we finished for the evening.

The next afternoon, they were king enough to send us some samples that they had already completed, and we were completely astonished by what they created. The images were depictions of what you can only find dreams not of reality. They took our breathe away. Our images were completed within the week and the final results left us speechless.

My daughter and her fiancé will be married this year. We searched the Internet for a photographer and found R & R Photography along with several others. We looked through all of the photographers’ work and when we came upon R & R, the first word out of my mouth was, WOW!

David and Jody know how to tell a story with their photography skills, revealing a fun, loving, and adorable couple who are so perfect for each other. We were very happy with David and Jody’s suggestion to take engagement photos. At first my son-in-law to me was hesitant on taking pictures, but once we got started, he relaxed and we had so much fun.
I had the opportunity of going along for the engagement pictures to help fix hair or make-up that was out of place. That was the first time I had ever met Jody and David. They both are very friendly and outgoing. We hit it off right away and shared quite a few laughs that day....
When the proofs of their engagement session were posted and my daughter showed me, my heart melted. David and Jody captured the funny and loving moments to perfection. I can't wait to see pics from the wedding.

R and R Creative Photography is by the best for your wedding day !

Jody and one other photographer shot mine and my husbands wedding on 10-3-15. We felt so comfortable with them, which is so important considering you have them shooting some of the most natural intimate moments (like the first look). Their professionalism is amazing. We had a huge bridal party of 18 people and they did such an awesome job at rounding us all up to get the photos needed while still keeping the everyone happy and smiling. I think my favorite quality in this company is just the spunk and sass. The last thing you want is to feel awkward in front of your photographers because it will show up in your pictures. They truly are the best. They also have such an amazing eye for shots. Poses and places that you wouldn't think of, they thought of, giving us the most memorable pictures. Choosing a photographer that will capture your day perfectly is so important. Oh my goodness, we just love all our engagement pictures! They are absolutely beautiful and each one tells a mini story. Thank you for doing such a wonderful job David and Jody! Some of our engagement pictures were done with our little dog Milo and people have said that our pictures look so good they look like the picture that is sold with the frame. Jody had us all including Milo pose perfectly. All our engagement pictures are perfect and we love each one.

David and Jody are so much to work with! We had 4 dogs in our engagement photos and they handled them perfectly. They knew exactly how to get their attention. David & Jody are a riot. Not only do they handle their business professionally, they are very responsive, flexible, and fair. And, most importantly, they make us laugh! How can we possibly say thank you enough!! Our wedding weekend was more perfect than we could have ever even imagined because of R&R, the beautiful photos you took, and how much fun you are to work with!! Being that we live in Denver, CO, and were planning a "destination" wedding in my hometown of Valencia, I knew it would be tough to get to know a photographer enough for them to capture the moments we were looking for....boy was I wrong. Mason and I were able to make a trip to Malibu earlier in the year with our puppies, and David & Jody spent the entire day with us taking photos on the beach (and being patient with our crazy dogs!) We knew from then on that there would be nothing to worry about the day of the wedding....and that was exactly the case! We never had to worry that photos or moments were being missed, as there were so many candid and timeless shots that David & Jody captured while we were just enjoying our time together. When we had first started planning our wedding we were kind of lost about where to start. We ended up attending the Bridal Show at the Valencia Hyatt to see if we could meet vendors to help make our day extra special. We had stopped by the R and R booth and loved what we saw. I immediately made an appointment with David and booked for our wedding. From that first day they were so helpful and so sweet. Especially when it came to payments they were so patient and flexible. They were never pushy and only wanted the best for us. On our actual wedding day they were amazing!! They were so professional and took ever shot that you would have wanted. I even have shots of my husband and groomsmen playing video games. They made us laugh and made sure ever smile was perfect. They stayed with us during our entire wedding and were constantly on the ball. When we finally saw our pictures again I was brought to tears. Ever feeling I felt that day came rushing back and was able to relive the entire day again. I would recommend them to any one. They made everything so easy and I had no worries about anything. Bravo to Jody and David for not just setting up great shots at our small winery wedding, but also for calming me down... a nervous bride for unfortunate reasons that were no fault of my wonderful photographers. In fact, I would have walked down the isle with my train half pinned, if not for Jody!

It was a pleasure working with Jody and David from initial meeting, second meeting and on our special day. They captured sunset and winery in fabulous photos and found silly ways to make me laugh and smile, since it's difficult for me to pose naturally for photos. Although I may have changed a few things about our wedding, if I had to do it all over again, I would NOT change the photographer we hired... they took care of me like I was family and I truly appreciate their care, concern and creative professionalism... even when the wind wasn't cooperating that day! When I got engaged in July, the first phone call I made (after calling my parents, of course) was to R & R Creative Photography. Mind you, I was still on vacation in New York :) David and Jody Ross are such an amazing team, a perfect balance of technical perfection and creative amazing! They have been doing our family photography events for the last 25 years (bar mitzvahs, anniversaries, weddings) and we wouldn't have it any other way. Our engagement photo session was soooo unbelievably creative (thanks to Jody's suggestion) and we have gotten comments from friends and family mostly saying that they were the most professional pictures, and the most creative. Our wedding is coming up quickly now, and with all the stresses of planning a wedding, it's so nice to know that I don't even have to remotely worry about our photos. And as a spectacular bonus, they have an huge rolodex of other vendors if you are stuck for DJ, Videographer, Florist, etc. I hired my DJ and Videographer based on their recommendation and I am so glad I did. Do yourself a favor and call R & R...you will be sooooo glad you did!

You guys made the day so fun. Let's face it, brides and grooms have to sit and smile and move here and there a lot and with you guys at the helm, it's just a ton of fun. So much laughter and fun doing pics made our day that much more special.
The guests love you. I can't tell you how many people came up to me to tell me how wonderful you guys were...so sweet and professional, and you made even the most camera shy people want to get into the fray.
The pictures! I have only seen a few and am beside myself with joy over how they look. It takes a special person with a camera to capture all the "feels" in photos, and we were lucky to have three of you!!!

They have a ton of experience, and we have had numerous compliments regarding our pictures. My mom and I researched several photography vendors, and R and R's prices were fair for all that they offered as well as for their expertise. They wanted to make sure that Zach and I received what we wanted, and wanted our input. I highly recommend them for their work. They are also easy to work with. You will not be disappointed! We just celebrated our one year anniversary and after looking at our wedding album, it felt as if we just got married yesterday. In addition, they are sweetest people you'll ever meet. Jody and David are absolutely amazing! They feel like family to us after only a few meetings and our big day of course. Hiring David and Jodi for our wedding photography was the best decision we could have made! From the moment we met them we could tell they were true professionals who do incredible work! As a special treat they were even willing to come up to our venue in Lake Arrowhead a day ahead of the wedding so that they could take pictures at our rehearsal dinner. He was professional, patient, kind and above all…extremely insightful to see what we were too distracted to see that day. Looking thru our wedding photos brought us back to that exact day and time…and that's exactly what you want to be able to do. Jody and David were a pleasure to work with! They were easy to talk to and had wonderful ideas. They have been in business a long time and know what they are doing. We got a huge selection of photos to choose from for our wedding album. They took our engagement photos for free and gave us the album of them for our guest book, which was wonderfully creative and gave us a chance to try them out at the same time! We highly recommend them!
