  Stunning cake!

  The experience was sublime. Brian met with us, discussed cakes we liked, showed us ideas, and helped us settle on a stunning design. We received so many compliments on the cake and we almost hated to cut it! We were able to pick two flavors and we settled on Lemon cake with vanilla buttercream and a chocolate cake with not-too-sweet peanut butter filling. Both were to die for! Brian even provided gluten-free cakes for our gluten-intolerant guests and a completely separate cake topper for our one year. If you need a wedding/event cake, look to Quiet Elegance for a wonderful cake. We will be using him in the future for our anniversary cakes in years to come!

  We renewed our vows at The Fenwick Inn in August. I have peanut and tree nut allergies and it was extremely difficult finding a Baker for our renewal. Brian at Quiet Elegance Bakery saved the day!! He was great to work with, very accommodating and the cupcakes and 6" round were absolutely gorgeous and delicious!!!

  Brian was awesome to work with! Our wedding guests RAVED about his cake! We picked pumpkin and marble and they tasted PHENOMENAL! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Quiet Elegance. We got exactly what we wanted.

  Brian is the absolute best! He is great to work with, super knowledgeable, and makes your dream come to life. I showed him so many different pictures of little thing that I wanted and he got them all 100% right. Not only did my cake look amazing, but it also tasted amazing! I would recommend Brian with Quite Elegance to everyone!

  Brian King is not only a phenomenal baker, he is super easy to work with & very sweet! We found Brian through our venue coordinator and after trying a few places out, nothing compared to his cakes. The taste is amazing..EVERYONE complimented on how much they loved it (we only had the tiny top layer left over.. and only because we had a whole table of sweets on top of cake!). Also, he is such an artist! We had 2 flavors, Black Russian with kaluah and creek de Cocoa with chocolate mousse & Ameretto with red raspberry filling. Everything on the cake was edible (except our topper), which included all of the sand, seashells, sea horses & pearls. Our cake was literally PERFECT! If you are in DE, hire Brian...you WON'T regret it!

  Brian created a unique, one-of-a-kind cake that tasted amazing! I asked that he use my dress as an inspiration for the design of the cake and he went above and beyond to create an intricate lace design with a custom monogrammed top layer. We received many compliments on the design and taste of the cake!

  Brian King was great! He had us come to his house to look at pictures of past wedding cakes, and was very personable. He had exactly what we were looking for--a beach theme, pearl starfish shell wedding cake. It was a 4 tier elegant cake! He even makes whole sample cakes for you to taste! He was responsive and great to work with! Highly recommend Quiet Elegance!

  When I was trying to plan my wedding, I only had a slight idea of what I wanted. I asked Brian for his advice. I am so thrilled that I did. We had cupcakes and a cake and they were absolutely gorgeous. They were beautiful but elegant and very reasonably priced. I would recommend Quiet Elegance Bakery to anyone that is looking for a professional baker with great taste and artistic ability. 5 stars for this vendor!!!!!!

  I heard about Brian and Quiet Elegance Bakery through our wedding planner, who said "Brian is the best" and she wasn't kidding.
  
  Our cake was perfect! I wanted a simple, butter cream cake with a few starfish and flowers. Brian perfected the look I wanted. He made it with a "combed" finish, which I wanted. So many of my guests came up to me to comment on how fresh, clean, and elegant my cake looked...not to mention the taste: We had a lemon chiffon cake for one of the layers and an amaretto cake with raspberry filling for the other two layers. The lemon was so surprising because it was light and almost refreshing.. not too lemon-y at all. The raspberry was just perfect! Brian let me try as much cake as I wanted until I landed on the right ones. He does not give you just a few little samples of cakes with small amounts of various fillings, like I often see... he gives you a full cake which you can specially ask for (which is nice because I had family and coworkers weigh in on my decision).
  
  Brian makes amazing cakes, there is no doubt in my mind you'd be satisfied with his work. However, what is most striking about Brian is just how likable and genuine he is. He was such a pleasure to work with. When I first met with Brian, his larger than life, bubbly and warm personality immediately made me feel like he cared about me and I could trust him to make my wedding cake. He invited us to his home to pick up some sample cakes, and gave us his cell number to call him about which cakes we wanted. He even offered his advice (only when I asked for it). I trusted him completely and loved getting to work with him.
  
  Overall, I'd have to say, if you're getting married in the lower-Delaware area, and you don't get Brian to make your cake, you're making a mistake!

He is a little hard to reach at times due to how busy he is but his creative talents are definitely worth the wait! We met at his lovely home to discuss design options and Brian provided us with all kinds of mini cakes to sample flavors. We ultimately selected raspberry amaretto and chocolate mousse but it was a difficult choice-- all good! Brian's very pleasant personality, professionalism, and attention to details made working with him a pleasure. Thanks Brian for helping to make the big day so special!

  Our cake matched our wedding perfectly, Brian was able to take all my ideas and tie them together. It also tasted great. He gives ample samples pre wedding to help with decision making. Very creative and funny baker.

  Took a while for our phone calls to be returned and to receive our contract. The cupcakes were wonderful but, was not set up the way we had talked about, which was disappointing
