Allison and the team at Quest has truly captivated me beyond words! I came in here driving by just to compare prices for engagement rings. I had general ideas of what I liked but I wasn’t really satisfied with anything I found online or at the other store I visited. Without an appointment, Allison took us and transformed my experience. She was so thorough and detail oriented. She was dedicated and all in on getting me EXACTLY what I wanted. She made sure that every single detail from the exact sizing of the halo to the contouring of the band was perfect. She had complete patience with all of my questions and admitted anytime she wasn’t certain about something. Then she brought in other representatives from the designers to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. I’m incredibly type A as a person and having someone who met the challenge of nailing my vision was so amazing. In making the investment that you do for a wedding set, you could not go wrong with Allison and Quest. The experience here has blown me away and set my expectations for jewelers moving forward. You won’t regret choosing this business.

So professional and very customer service oriented
We are so happy with Quest. We bought the engagement ring through them, and I was so happy with their service, we bought our wedding bands through them as well. We also are required to go back at least once every few months to have the rings cleaned, and we are welcomed back any time we’d like; if we prefer to have rings polished more frequently.

Amazing, Start to Finish
I can't recommend Quest's services highly enough. From my very first interaction with Huan, to each subsequent interaction with Huan and Randa. They were absolutely amazing. I was referred to Quest/Huan by a personal friend, when I began my search for an engagement ring. I had previously browsed online, walked into a few stores and window shopped, just to get a feel for things.
Nothing could compare to the attention and service that they provided. Low pressure, knowledgeable, extremely pleasant. Just really FUN to work with. Even when we encountered hiccups along the road, by no fault of their own, they continuously would go above and beyond to make things right. Extremely accommodating. Top notch service.

Finding the ideal ring
During my fiance's (now husband) initial search for a ring, he spoke to and visited multiple establishments. He also scoured through countless online reviews and found Quest Jewelers to be consistently on top of every list available. It wasn't long after that he visited Quest's newly remodeled store in Merrifield.
The store is pristine, clean and organized. The variety is impressive, wide and extensive. Although what made this entire experience stress free is attributed to Huan's calming temperament and laser focus on 100% customer satisfaction. He knows all of his customers' names! He was proactive, asked all the right questions, and a perfectionist throughout. It was clear he was highly experienced and walked him through many aspects I quite frankly wasn't aware of. Huan worked tirelessly in his preparation to locate the ideal ring and our entire wedding journey wouldn't have been so seamless without his hard work and dedication.
Thanks to Huan for making a typically anxiously-filled experience so comforting. For those interested in a jeweler for any special event, not only will you (and significant other) enjoy a remarkable experience & product but you'll also work alongside a very talented professional.

Quest was absolutely fantastic in designing my engagement ring and helping my husband and I with our wedding bands. Randa and Pete were a joy to work with. They care about their customers and offer extremely fair prices. You can expect a great deal and extremely high quality both in the products and the service provided. Wonderful and easy to work with
Randa was amazing to work with! My fiancé and I went in because they were one of the few who carried Verragio rings. I tried some on and didn’t fall in love with just one. I liked certain aspects of 4 different rings. We left with an idea of what I wanted and my fiancé went back later and had a custom ring built with the details of all of the rings I liked and a diamond that has been passed down through from his grandmother! Once I got the ring, it fit like a glove! Shortly after we went back to have it appraised, they did it in house and took less than an hour! We will definitely be buying our bands from them soon!

My fiancé and I went into Quest to just look at a few engagement rings because she did not know what she wanted. We talked with Huan and he was great. He showed us a variety of rings and she was able to narrow it down. I went back to finalize everything and told him that we were going on a trip to Italy in 3 weeks and Huan was able to get the ring ready by then. We had a great experience and definitely recommend going to Quest for your jewelry needs.

An impossible wedding cake made possible
My family and I have known Pete and Huan for 16+ years now. We bought our weddings and watches from them. My fiance and I had the most amazing experience at Quest Fine Jewelers. We started with an appointment to look at engagement rings and the staff was extremely helpful and everyone made you feel like you were the most important person in the room. They were accommodating and patient as you tried on numerous rings with different cuts and styles. My fiance ended up purchasing my engagement ring at Quest and he was over-the-moon with the entire process. Huan was truly a professional but also made you feel like you have been friends for years! The family feeling you receive is unconditional. When I finally met Huan after I said Yes (best day of my life), he was very sweet and explained how to properly care for the ring. Put simply: Quest had the best prices I could find when looking for an engagement ring. BUT even more important, their customer service is phenomenal. At a lot of jewelry stores, you sometimes wonder if you're being overcharged or taken advantage of... but I could not have felt more confident and comfortable than I did at Quest.
Everyone there seems really knowledgeable and nice, but my man Huan really took care of me when I came in to buy an engagement ring for my fiancee. Not only did he search high and low for best quality/priced stones, but he took the time to really figure out what we wanted and build us a custom ring from scratch. The ring came out amazing and my fiancee can't stop staring at it.
In fact, we had such a great experience, we went back again for our wedding bands, and I plan to go again for anything else in the future. Could not recommend Quest Jewelers more!

Based on a friend's recommendation, my fiance and I went to Quest Fine Jewelers to get our engagement and wedding rings. Huan was super friendly and helpful, gave us great advice on what type of gem to get that'd best fit our lifestyle and budget. The prices are also very reasonable. We went to Quest at the recommendation of a friend who's now husband went to Quest at the recommendation of a friend. We didn't plan on buying a ring that day, as I wanted tanzanite and most people don't carry any, but I convinced my fiance to go and look. Turns out this was the best decision ever, as we got to work with one of the owners, Pete, who is a gemstone fanatic. They had a few beautiful pieces of deeply saturated tanzanite on hand and Pete was able to tell us all about how best to protect (set) and cut it for use as an engagement ring. We ended up taking pieces from multiple rings in their cases and custom building a beautiful setting that showcases a fantastic piece of tanzanite well beyond anything that I had found in my annual scouting in the Caribbean. We went to order wedding bands and Pete again had wonderful suggestions on how to showcase my ring, and found the perfect band for my fiance. He actually had them matte finish a gold band while we were browsing so he could see it before committing. Quest has been wonderful to work with and I look forward to the bank account supporting many more visits!

My fiancé purchased my ring here about a month ago and Quest has been wonderful to work with. We originally learned about Quest by researching jewelers and this was a place that had really high reviews on The Knot, Wedding Wire and Yelp so we knew we had to check it out. We walked in and were greeted by Cathy. She was VERY helpful. She taught us about the diamonds and what to look for. We never felt pressured to buy. Even when we said we would have to think about it, she never pressured us. We came back a couple weeks later and Cathy also helped us. She remembered us by name and remembered exactly what we were looking for. Everyone at Quest is very friendly and helpful. Even after my fiancé proposed, I still walk in there to get my ring cleaned and she remembers who we are and always asks how we are doing. I highly recommend Cathy and Quest Jewelers! We will definitely be going back for our wedding bands!

Top notch service. After having a horrid experience at a high end jeweler in DC my fiancé searched yelp and found this little gem. They really took the time to make sure you were happy with your decisions and gave you all the information you needed to know to make an informed decision and they never tried to upsell you. After selecting the engagement ring we went back for a sale event to pick out our wedding rings. I was able to select mine, but my fiancé was having a hard time deciding. They simply offered that he take some time to think it over and when he was ready he could come back and they would give it to him at the sale price. Now that is service! It really put him at ease as it takes a while for him to decide on anything. They really know what they are doing and know how to treat their customers with respect and class.

Absolutely LOVE Quest!! My fiancé bought my engagement here, and they helped him pick out the perfect ring, ordered serveral diamonds for him to choose from, and gave him a very fair price. When it came time to buy our wedding bands we went to them and they made everything so easy and painless. We ended up moving across country and they still will allow us to send our rings back to be sized/cleaned free of charge whenever we need them. Even though we now live in California we absolutely will use them for all of our jewelry needs.

My fiance purchased my engagement ring from Quest, and they have been wonderful. He went in with a photo of a ring I had shown him, and they created the ring for him based off of the picture. When I went in to have it sized, they gave me a complete run down and instructional session on how to care for my ring. When my ring got bent after I had it for a few weeks, I took it back and they fixed it without question. They are great to work with!

Could not say enough about how much we love Quest! My fiance bought my engagement ring with Quest and we went back to buy both of our wedding rings. The quality of service is excellent - they'll maintain your ring for life, including unlimited free cleanings and resizing while you wait. Plus they'll re-plate our white gold rings every 6 months, even if we move.
We also just loved that everytime we went back, they remembered our names. They take a very personalized approach and helped us design 2 of the rings.
Again, could not speak highly enough of the team at Quest.

I live about a mile from Quest and did not realize what a "gem" of a jewelry store was so close by. I spent a lot of time looking at the huge selection of engagement and wedding rings--and they were very patient with me. Huan worked with me to create a beautiful custom wedding ring for my husband. Pete at Quest was great to work with. My parents have used Quest for a few items over the past few years, so we decided to use them even though we were living in Michigan. We came in during the busy Christmas sales time, but Pete worked with us to design a ring that incorporated features from several rings I had seen. Because we were living out of the area at the time, Pete was able to mail us a drawing of the ring he had design, a plastic mock up, and finally, the ring itself. All three rings we purchased are beautiful and I get compliments on them regularly.

Quest is the best place to go to buy an engagement ring and wedding bands. I had searched all over Northern Virginia for a good deal while still getting quality items, I had come up empty. Then I drove past the store on my way home one day and looked them up online. I made an appointment and met with Huan. No pressure, friendly, worked within my budget and with my ideas. They helped me find the perfect engagement ring that my fiance LOVED. Lifetime warranty plan included as well, no additional costs! I have sent 2 friends there since then and both have purchased their engagements rings from Quest. We are buying our wedding bands there as well. I have worked with all of the Quest staff at one point and they are all great at what they do. Look no further, Quest is the best place in NOVA to buy fine jewelry from.

My husband bought my engagement ring from them and said that he had a great experience working with them. He ordered and made a custom ring and design for me and had found them very helpful through the process.
We bought our wedding bands from them as well and received great service. They were informative, helpful, patient and did not try to push us to buy anything. They also made extra effort to make sure we were happy with our choices in our wedding bands and that we had the customization that we had wanted.

Quest Jewelers is amazing! We got all of our wedding jewelry and then some here. The staff is professional, personable, and helpful. The entire staff remembers my husband and I when we visit and provide excellent quality products for a reasonable price. All of my pieces are cleaned for free whenever I pop by and everything is guaranteed for life, as long as you go to get the pieces checked at least once a year. They are an excellent small business that I look forward to working with in the future.

Quest Fine Jewelers is the best you will work with. One of my friends who was also getting married suggested them for wedding bands after we were already engaged, so we only had our wedding bands done here. What a shame! We will definitely be going back here for upgrades.
I cannot rave enough about the service. They are extremely professional, kind, prompt and flexible. We recommend them to all of our friends and family. Huan was such a delight to work with. He worked with our price range and had many excellent suggestions. He and his team are extremely talented.

Quest had one of the best selections with lots of modern options that appealed to us. The environment was warm, friendly and professional. We ended up getting our engagement ring (which was a custom design that they helped my husband create), my wedding band, as well as my husband's band (which I also ended up customizing with a small diamond on one side and engraved inside). We visited many times and each time, we never had to remember anything because they kept what we had discussed/chosen in their records so we could just pick up where we left off, but in a non-intrusive way. I have and would highly recommend to anyone. Great service. Thanks so much, guys! We really appreciate you!

My fiance bought my engagement ring here and worked with Huan. Huan was awesome. He helped Keith find a gorgeous, timeless ring for me. Huan was great because he didn't just sell him the diamond, he taught Keith about diamonds. We also bought our wedding bands and couldn't have been happier.
The service is amazing. The staff are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. They get a lot of business yet they still remembered us every time we came in. Every time I'm in the area I get my rings cleaned!

After having gone to several big box/chain jewelry stores searching for my engagement ring and scouring the Web for reviews on jewelry stores, my fiance and I went to Quest. From the outside, it's easy to miss and dismiss Quest (it's located in this simple, unadorned building next to some run down, small shops/offices). I had my doubts. My doubts, however, were quickly dismissed when my fiance and I stepped into Quest and were greeted by the very friendly Pete. From the onset, I really liked a certain ring from De Beers and so, we asked Pete if they had something similar to it or if they could customize one. We were in luck because they had one already, designed by Yuan, that looked exactly like it.
The second time we visited Pete was busy assisting another customer so Yuan helped us. Just like Pete, Yuan was very friendly and knowledgeable and explained the things to look for in a diamond. As he was teaching us, his wife comes in with home baked chocolate cookies and Yuan offered us some. Talk about customer service!
I love staring at my ring and I always get compliments about it. People say it's so sparkly. I haven't stopped talking about Quest to my friends and I would definitely recommend Quest to others. My fiance and I will definitely come back to Quest to get our wedding rings. Thank you, Pete and Yuan!

Worked with Pete on the engagement ring and the wedding bands. He was amazing. I bought my wife an original engagement ring, but I wanted to incorporate my grandmother's engagement ring somehow. Pete designed a wedding band for me that used her band and a separate platinum band surrounding it and made a pendant out of the diamond for my wife to wear. Everything was gorgeous. The service is top-notch...Pete still knows me by name to this day.

My husband went to Quest when he got my engagement ring. They were fantastic and did a great job helping him design a custom ring for me. (He and they did a great job! Everyone complements me on how beautiful and unique the ring is!)
They did such a great job that we went back there to get our wedding rings made. Again, we got a custom ring for me, so that my wedding and engagement rings would match.
We loved the fact that that the people at Quest were always so kind to us. They remembered us between visits, and helped us work to get rings within our budget. Most of all, they didn't treat us less than the other customers who *did* want to spend 15k on a ring. We really liked that just because we weren't big spenders, we were still treated like valued customers.
Wouldn't recommend anyone else for jewelry! I plan to use them in the future for any jewelry needs I have.

We worked with Anita and Pete at Quest. They were both phenomenal! They really educate you on what to look for in a diamond and help you throughout the entire process. Everything turned out fantastic and they make sure to reiterate to you that if you are unsatisfied with ANYTHING they will make it right. My fiance got my engagement ring from Quest and when he brought me to the store I was very impressed with the customer service--very friendly, nice, not-pushy, and not snobby! When we were shopping for wedding bands, we thought we'd look at a few other stores--but we felt they were either overpriced, or worse had a pushy and/or snobby attitude. We went back to Quest and picked our wedding bands during an anniversary sale they had. They offer complimentary ring cleaning every 6 months, and their service is still friendly and professional. I would recommend them to anyone.

Honestly, I would give Huan a million stars if I could. Buying an engagement ring is probably the second most important purchase in young couple's life (second to a home). You want to enlist the help of someone you can trust when the time comes to buy the ring. Huan is that person - he is knowledgeable, courteous, professional, and best of all he really wants you get the most value on your money (i.e. return on your investment).
My fiance and I went to several reputable jewelers before we went to Huan. His approach to customer service immediately impressed us. He took the time to teach us all about diamonds - letting us sort by color in his store. He was super easy to work with in getting the ring ready (according to my fiance) and he has been very responsive in my subsequent communications with him re: inspections and appraisals.
I cannot tell you how much I love my ring. Really, it makes me happy every day that I put it on. I imagine the same will be true for our wedding bands, which I hope to have made by Quest as well.
A million starts for Huan! Don't go anywhere else.

A good friend of ours had his fiancee's engagement ring custom designed at Quest and they also bought their wedding bands from there as well. We heard nothing but rave reviews. When another friend told us she and her fiancee had gone to Quest just to browse yet ended up buying bands the same day, we knew we had to check this place out. It was during their big annual sale weekend so when we stopped in, the store was very busy. We stayed for a little while and spoke briefly to a friendly associate who suggested we come back the next day if we wanted a full consultation with one of the jewelers. We had liked the quality of the jewelry we saw while we browsed around and decided we would try the next day. When we came back, Huan was there to greet us and he recognized us from the day before. He answered all our questions and helped us find our perfect rings :) We got a great deal on both and we couldn't be more pleased with the quality of service and products. My husband wasn't sure if the ring was fitting quite right, and we went in to get it re-sized. Luckily, Huan was there to dissuade him -- advising him to keep it as it was since weather changes could affect the fit. He was right! My husband's extremely grateful he hadn't changed the size since now it fits perfectly. We had gone in a couple more times to have them engraved and cleaned. Each time, the people we worked with were professional and helpful. We are very happy customers and will be sure to return :)

My husband went to Mervis for my engagement ring, he said he had a great experience at their Chevy Chase location. So we went back there to look at wedding bands and the service was horrendous. We told the sales lady what we were looking for and she brought us maybe 2 or 3 rings each to look at that were nothing like what we'd asked for. The one ring we did kind of like for me, she rushed away from us after a minute because another customer was interested in looking at it. What? She also never called us with the quotes we requested. We dealt with a different lady there to get my engagement ring sized and she was very snooty. However I'd had nothing but great experiences every time I've been to the Tyson's location to get it cleaned/polished. So perhaps I would just wanr against the Chevy Chase location. We ended up looking at a bunch of different places before heading to Quest. The guys there were fantastic, very helpful and knowledgable and they cut us an amazing deal on my platinum eternity band and my husband's white gold band. Their service since the purchase has been super too, I would highly recommend this store.

Quest was the first and only place I went to shop for engagement rings. I fell in love with the ring and their customer service. My husband and I also picked out our wedding bands there as well. They are great to work with on everything! I cant wait to go back to pick out our anniversary gift!

My engagement ring is stunning! I got married a month ago and my wedding band is stunning also! My husband bought his wedding band from them as well and loves it! Working with the guys from Quest is a pleasure because unlike other jewelry stores, you don't feel like you are being ripped off. They are honest and really show you all your options while taking the time to really make you feel like you are the only customer in the store. They are fabulous and I would recommend them to anyone!!

I cannot say enough good things about Quest. We looked everywhere for my engagement ring and wedding band and ended up at Quest both times. We couldn't find exactly what we wanted and didn't want to pay those designer prices, so we worked with Pete to design our ring. We checked pricing with a few other companies and they were the best. The only negative about the shop is they don't have a huge selection and don't have a ton of diamonds for you to look at (they order them in for you to pick from a few), but they are small business...what can you expect?!?! Also, they will make anything you want...very talented!!! Their work is amazing and I have numerous comments about the quality and how beautiful my jewelry is. After you purchase your jewelry there, they continue to offer you service offering free cleanings and ring inspection to make sure your diamonds aren't going to fall out. I walk into the shop and they actually remember my name and treat me very well (that is very out of the ordinary these days). I have recommended many people to Quest and will be using them in the future!!

After considerable research, we purchased our engagement ring setting and wedding bands from Quest and now frequent them often for cleaning and inspection, and for our other jewelry needs. (We recently asked them to resize and dip an heirloom yellow gold anniversary band in white gold. Love it!) While all the staff is extremely professional, we especially enjoy working with Pete, who was referred to us by a mutual friend. The selection is good at Quest -- reputable brands and all types of jewelry and watches -- and the pricing better than most. They are one of few jewelers authorized to work with (i.e., to mount diamonds into) the selective Memoire line; expert acknowledgement of their high quality. Highly recommend.

Quest is absolutely the best Jewler in Northern Virginia. My husband and I absolutley loved them and have continued to go back for wedding gifts. They are professional and poliet! Quest is a wonderful place to look for your wedding rings/engagement rings. They are a first rate place, great service, attention to detail, and educate you about the diamond so you can find what is right for you. I love my engagement ring and matching band, it is unique, brilliant, and Hap was a real pleasure to work with. They offer a lot of options for all kinds of brides to be.
Most of my friends have purchased their rings from here as well and we all love our rings.

This is a great vendor- very professional. We went in looking for a wedding bad and they explained why that wouldn't work with my engagement righ, and provided good suggestions for new options. Other jewelers were willing to sell me the ring I wanted without explaining that that model would damage my engagement ring. They are very knowledgable and willing to work with you. WIth most vendors I find that while they say they are accomodating to what you want- at the end, they push you in one direccion- this was not the case with this vendor.

Wonderful jeweler to work with. My husband was able to work with the jeweler to custom design my ring. We also got our wedding bands from Quest. The quality of materials is superb. The diamond is beautiful. We worked with Quest before they moved into their current showroom. Quality of service has not changed -- I get my ring cleaned there all the time, and they are always friendly. They are great craftsmen and I believe still do all their work on the premises. It's nice to know exactly where your ring is created.

Quest was recommended to me by many other brides and I am so glad we chose them to make our wedding bands. The guys obviously have a passion for making beautiful jewelry, not just selling it. They were patient with us and worked with our very limited budget without trying to upsell us. Their work is terrific and includes engraving, free of charge. Since they do all their platinum work on-site, I had my engagement ring sized in 2 hours...not a week, like I would have had to wait had I gone to a chain store at the mall. I was so impressed with Quest that I recently took my brother there to see them when he was planning to propose to his girlfriend. He agreed and chose quest to set my grandmother's stone into a gorgeous platinum setting. His fiance is thrilled with her ring, as well. HIGHLY recommended!

Quest was recommended to us by both our wedding coordinator and also my maid-of-honor who had her engagement ring custom designed there. We went on a whim when we were out one day at another jeweler (who wasn't in when we stopped by). We decided to swing by Quest to see what they were all about, and were totally unprepared for the wide selection and superb customer service we'd receive. We wound up ordering our wedding bands on our first visit there, and had the finish customized. We called them the next day to change our minds on the finish, and they were very accomodating to our change. About a month before the wedding I brought them a pair of antique pearl earrings that I wanted refashioned into a different style, they worked on the design with me, though they didn't fit quite right when I went back to pick them up. They changed the style a little bit at no charge and the earrings turned out just as beautiful. We took our wedding bands back again a couple weeks before the wedding to have them engraved, which also turned out exactly as we wanted.

Pete & the group at Quest are great! My brother used them for his wedding and engagement rings, and after his experience, we knew that we had to use them as well. They are extremely courteous and were able to make our wedding bands in a very tight time frame. I highly recommend them for wedding jewelery, or for any other jewelry needs. My favorite thing about Quest is that customer service is #1. There aren't many other jewelry stores out there that make you feel comfortable. Other jewelers are stuffy or you just get the feeling that they may be ripping you off. Not the case with Quest. They do everything they can to make sure you are satisfied. We had my wedding band custom-made to imitate the designer band that matched my engagement ring. I wasn't happy with the way it turned out, and my fiance brought it back to them, along with a picture of the original designer band to show them that it wasn't exactly what we were looking for. Quest took the ring back and COMPLETELY remade it, no questions asked, no extra charge. Their prices are very reasonable and I highly recommend getting any of your jewelry work done with them!

I know I'm probably the odd person out on this but I wanted a gold princess cut ring with sidestones for my engagement ring. Frank came though with this with no problem. But when it came time to get our wedding bands nothing worked. Nothing would line up, nothing came in princess cut and getting yellow gold was terribly difficult. We went to Quest after hearing so many knotties rave about them. They made me the perfect ring and it was ½ the price of the rings in the stores that didn't even match. Highly recommend.

The folks at Quest Fine Jewelry are amazing! They have a great selection and will always alert you when there is a sale for different designer brands (which helped out a lot!) They can source lab diamonds and other types of gems. They helped me and my wife choose the perfect engagement ring for her. The ring we built is so beautiful and a custom piece, everyone always comments on how gorgeous it is. They sourced light and dark sapphires to put in both rings. They gave me great options for the center stone as well. I highly recommend them for all your jewelry needs.

Quest was great at helping my fiance choose the perfect engagement ring at the right quality, style, and budget. They were super quick at sizing the ring when I came in, and then were helpful again when we picked out the wedding band. They also offer the option that you get a discount if you refer a friend who purchases through their shop. Was very pleased with the whole process and am in love with my ring.
