    Outstanding!!

This venue is beautiful all on its own. We had an arch with stumps and table decor but that’s all that was needed! The venue is rustic yet elegant and absolutely stunning! Laura is fantastic to work with!!

    No need to decorate

This venue was perfect! We chose to do both our ceremony and reception indoors in front of the large glass windows. You don't even need decorations as it is truly beautiful all on it's own. The entire venue was perfectly cleaned upon arrival, the rangers were available whenever needed and Laurie- with the parks dept- was quick to answer my 100 questions. She was truly one of the most polite "vendors"
The venue comes with tables and chairs but we chose to rent our own. We had 100 people with TONS of leftover room. The access to a kitchen and storage area were much needed and so helpful. All of my vendors were happy to be working there again!! I will recommend to everyone I know. (also, you absolutely CAN NOT beat the price)

    Perfect Location!

The Lodge is beautiful and a great price! Everything is kept simple and uncomplicated and most vendors are very familiar with the place, which is nice! I have zero complaints and would recommend this place to anyone!

Book as far in advance as you can (up to two years)! This venue books up very fast. It is absolutely beautiful and the event coordinator (Laura) responds very quickly and was a great help! There is a very beautiful gazebo and large deck for guests to go outside. They do NOT have a policy on who can cater in food and alcohol, which saved a ton. So happy we booked with Quail Ridge Lodge and I highly recommend it.

Beautiful building!!!! Even in December, the scenery was gorgeous and everyone enjoyed having the option to go outside. The space was just right for a wedding reception with about 80 guests- I could have fit more people, but the room also never felt too big. We were essentially given the keys and pre-requested (but free of charge!) tables and chairs and left to ourselves. I personally appreciated the freedom that allowed, though when we did need something the rangers could be difficult to get hold of, but that didn't have any major impact on my event

This venue was perfect to get married at. There's a gazebo outside that we used for the ceremony but the inside would have been equally as beautiful. The park ranger was nice and professional. And the price is unbeatable, you rent this place for the entire day 8am-11pm and you can bring all your own vendors. It was perfect!

We had a very small budget wedding, and when I found the lodge, it felt like a miracle. For one day (9am-11pm), the cost is $650 with a $250 returnable deposit ($900 total). Because this place is so cheap, it obviously books out FAST. When we booked over two years in advance, every single Saturday in that two year span was already taken. We chose to be married on a Sunday instead, but that was no problem for us, as we're not super traditional. We did our rehearsal at my family's church the night before, because the space was very similar. Both our ceremony and reception were held indoors. We had around 70 guests, and we had TONS of space for everything. We kept the decorations to a minimum, as the lodge is so pretty, that it doesn't need much else. The ranger on duty was so sweet and helpful (even HE was married there), and when we needed more chairs last minute, he was quick to come by and get them for us.

I was getting compliments all night for my choice in venue.

Great venue, we really enjoyed using the facility to its fullest. Its a beautiful location and we had some great pictures taken there. I like it because its reasonably priced, you can bring in your own caterer and it has a beautiful rustic appeal to it.

This was a beautiful place to have a wedding and reception. It accommodates 180 people. We had around 100 and had comfortable space to have a nice beverage area, appetizer space, buffet line and cake and gift table. Room for band set up and dancing. Nice picture windows of nature. We watched a gentle falling snow during our Nov 15th wedding. Lots of compliments on the beauty that surrounds this place. On the down side. Many guests were confused how to get back on the interstate after navigating the round-a-bout to get to the park. Location is a little difficult. Have plenty of direction signs. We used 3.

I knew as soon as I saw this place that it was ideal for my wedding. I had originally planned on an outdoor ceremony but changed that and just had the reception in the beautiful Quail Ridge Lodge. The Rangers were so nice and helpful in the weeks before the big day, letting us in and offering us many possible solutions to the questions we had. They had seen a LOT of weddings there! When the day came, the entire city of Wentzville lost power and, even though there was not anything they could do, the rangers came by to assure us they were trying to find out what was going on and kept us up to date the whole time. The power came on and everything was OK. At the end, they were very nice and patient as my family cleared everything out.

The hall is beautiful, rustic with modern fixtures and perfect for a location to have everything at (wedding and reception) only pitfall is that it books up fast and we had to do a rehearsal the morning of because you cant get it the day before without renting for 2 days.
You get to book your own vendors and also decorate how youd like as long as its all free standing....
Was beautiful and got tons of compliments.

I fell in love with the Quail Ridge Lodge the first time I saw it. It is just breathtaking, and honestly, pictures don't do it justice. Even though the location was kind of far from where we/our family live in St. Louis (almost an hour) I just had to have it here. We actually picked our wedding date around its availability (it books up about 2 years in advance, and we only wanted a 6 month engagement, so we literally had about 1 day, a Sunday, that would work). The rental fee is super reasonable and you get it from 9am-11pm, and you get to bring in your own caterer, DJ, etc so you can bargain shop there also. Additionally, you get to bring in your own beer & wine which saves a bunch of money. Hard liquor is not allowed there though, so keep that in mind. We did a champagne punch for the non-beer, non-wine crowd and everyone was happy. Glass beer/wine bottles didn't used to be allowed, but that rule changed a few months ago, so that made everything much easier.

Really I have nothing but raves for the venue, the office staff and rangers were helpful anytime I had a question. Everything was perfect on our day. It was too cold to do an outside ceremony, but there is a beautiful gazebo for that purpose.

The lodge is a gorgeous location. We had the ceremony inside due to the heat, but it worked out perfect. The wall of windows made a beautiful backdrop. They do book up fast, but we happened to get in on a cancellation and I was so happy with everything!

A beautiful lodge as well as being wonderfully affordable. Had the ceremony outside at the gazebo with reception inside the comfortably roomy lodge. Only problem that we had was the one A/C unit that cools the kitchen and bathroom areas was not working, and this on a 98 degrees day with heat index of 108 made it interesting. I had the main room temperature lowered to assist in comforting those affected areas. All-in-all we were overjoyed with the accommodations and highly recommend it there.

We had our wedding and reception at Quail Ridge Lodge in Wentville. The place is beautiful. The lodge was clean and the Park Rangers were friendly. We were on a tight budget, and we felt lucky to find such a beautiful place that we could afford. We got some really good pictures in the park of us and the bridal party. We got married at the gazebo which turned out nice (and the weather was PERFECT!) The lodge has huge bathrooms, which was great. Since we were on such a tight budget, I liked that we were able to bring our own vendors in. I managed to keep the whole day under $5000, which would not have been possible at an all inclusive place. The only cons about Quail Ridge is you have to have everything out and cleaned up by 11 pm sharp. This really wasn't an issue for us. We were pooped by 9:30 pm. Lol. Also, the place books up almost 2 years in advance. I called on the earliest possible day at 8 am, the time they opened, booked our day, and got a call back that someone else also booked that day at the same time and I had to change. I was pretty laid back and picked another day, but point of the story, have that phone ready at 7:59 am on Jan 2 if you want your day. I know people are concerned about the alcohol at this place. We had 2 kegs and 25 bottles of wine in glass bottles and there weren't any issues. There's a special use form that you have to get approved, but they were ok with everything I requested. Hope this helps! :)

This venue was awesome! The only thing that would make it better is if they extended the hours they were open. Ending the reception early was not what we wanted, but still a beautiful place!

I had a great experience with the staff, the place was clean, they did what we wanted, it was just beautiful. This is a great deal. We barely used any decorations because the lodge is so nice and the windows are so big, there didn't seem to be a point. Only complaint is that the women's bathroom where I was getting ready wasn't air conditioned very well and I was slightly sweaty before the reception.

This is a really nice place to have a wedding if you are trying to save some money. We did have to do our own set up and tear down but by not being forced to use a certain caterer or florist as I found with some reception halls we saved quite a bit of money. However, there is no hard liquor allowed because it is a state park. Also, you have to book the whole day even if you don't need it but it was only 650 for the whole day so not too bad. We were married outside on the deck and it was great but in case of bad weather there is plenty of room inside also.
