Best Decision!

Kim was one of my favorite vendors to work with, by FAR!! Her attention to detail is amazing and unmatched. I've already referred her to a few of my closest friends! She was patient with me as we worked through several iterations of our invitation and day-of stationary designs and provided several mock-ups for me to edit and take a look at. She got my vision exactly! She delivered all of our items with more than enough time, and we are OBSESSED with the design and branding she came up with for our special day. Can't thank Kim enough!

Everything was beautiful!

My experience with Kimberly was amazing! I was lucky to meet with her in person when I started planning my April 2022 wedding to talk about what I was looking for. Kimberly is personable, professional, and has amazing ideas. She listened to me describe the feel of the wedding and came up with the perfect designs to create a consistent theme for the whole day (invitations, ceremony programs, inserts for hotel welcome boxes, menus/place cards, setting chart, table numbers, even coasters - she can really do anything!!). I would totally recommend Purple Wagon Designs for your wedding, or anything else, and look forward to being able to work with Kimberly again.

The Vendor You Need!

I cannot say enough about our incredible experience with Kimberly of Purple Wagon Designs! We started with a Zoom consultation where we discussed our wedding details, and left the meeting so impressed by Kimberly’s professionalism and how comfortable she made us feel in the unsure time of Covid wedding planning. We immediately knew that we needed her to be a part of our day! Kimberly worked back and forth with us to find the perfect font, paper color, etc. until we were completely satisfied. The final product for our invitations (as well as our other day of wedding stationary) was beautiful. From the vellum jacket, to the wax seals and personalized monogram, everything was simple, classic, and exactly what we had dreamed of. Kimberly also created acrylic signage for our big day. I went to her with a somewhat insane seating chart idea, and she brought the vision to life in the most stunning way imaginable. Our guests could not stop raving about this breathtaking piece, as well as our card box, cake topper, welcome sign, and other flawless acrylic pieces. She also went out of her way to hand deliver all of our signage to ensure nothing would get damaged. Kimberly is so talented, kind and wonderful to work with. We are so glad we had the opportunity to work with her, and highly recommend her to every couple. Thank you again Kimberly!!

Beautiful Invitations

Kimberly was AMAZING. She went above and beyond for my invitations - I used a pre existing design (I am the least creative mind) and put my own touch to it with her guidance. I wanted a boho chic/floral vibe and she was able to make the invitation of my boho bride dreams.
She advised me on which colors would look great together and was able to quickly put the invites together.
Being a Covid bride - I wasn’t able to stick to our original timeline which she put together so I was able to have it in a timely manner, and Kimberly was more than accommodating and patient with me. Once I was able to guarantee a celebration and gave her the “go ahead” I had my invites delivered within a week - it was incredible!
The compliments I’ve received have been overwhelming about how beautiful the invites were, the attention to detail, and the overall beauty.
I couldn’t recommend Purple Wagon Designs more for your wedding invites

Kimberly is incredible!!

Kimberly is so talented. From the moment I came across her Instagram, @purplewagondesigns, I knew that I absolutely NEEDED her to create our wedding invitations. Her designs are one of a kind and her creations are limitless. I love someone who thinks out of the box. I also enjoy working with someone who you can build a relationship with. Kimberly has it all. My husband and I wanted something with a Pittsburgh theme since our wedding was downtown. We went with her gorgeous option of the city skyline. I cannot begin to express just how many of our guests, family, and friends, and even strangers who have seen our invitations that were in complete awe over them, and still are. Classic and elegant. Check out her wax seals as well. They are GORGEOUS! We went with her Pittsburgh bridge choice. They were a lovely touch to our invitations. Kimberly was great to work with. Easy to contact and worked diligently on our order. Her stationary talent is incredible. She was kind to us and it felt like we’ve known her forever. I don’t think there’s anything more you can ask for in a vendor. Kimberly reminded me that if we ever needed anything else to please ask, and she kept her word. At the last minute, I mean LAST minute, two days before our wedding I messaged Kimberly in a panic that I forgot about a sticker detail for our cookie boxes. Here in Pittsburgh, you know just how important this detail is. Kimberly was able to MATCH a sticker for our boxes that corresponded invitations. Genius! I truly can’t thank her enough for fitting this in. Whatever you do, choose Kimberly at Purple Wagon Designs. You will not be disappointed. You will have a talented stationary genius on your hands, and you will also make a lifelong friend. We love you Kimberly!!!!

Kimberly made our wedding invitations and we couldn’t have been more pleased. Her work is beautiful, she is quick to respond to emails and she is willing to design specifically to your taste and preferences. I went in not knowing what I wanted at all, but she walked me through all the options to make the most beautiful invitations and she never pushed me to up sell. Kimberly made this step one of the easiest in the wedding planning process. My sister in law’s wedding was a few months prior to ours and she recommended Kimberly, which is a true testament for her work. I can’t recommend Purple Wagon enough!

Awesomeness...

Kimberly at the Purple Wagon is the real deal. If it's not top quality, she doesn't waste her time, and for me that was key. Couple that with the fact that within a single hour she had steered me, my fiance, and his mother towards a final decision for wedding invitations...well that's just impressive. After the decision had been made, it was smooth sailing. She was on top of everything and kept to her timelines. I'd recommend her for anything.

Kimberly was absolutely amazing to work with! She completely brought my vision to life and created beautifully customized invitations, escort cards and menus for our wedding. Great Experience! Highly Recommend!

Working with Kim was great! After meeting with her I knew she understood exactly what I wanted and how I wanted it. Wonderful products

Kimberly was an absolute godsend with whom to work. All of our programs, thanks you, welcome cards, etc. and was a true professional. Impress your guests right from the start!

Kimberly was wonderful to work with and her work is stunning. I was on the fence about ordering invitations online or having them made. I am so glad that I decided to have Kimberly help us design the invatations. They turned out beautiful and were so professional looking. They really helped set the tone for the wedding. I received so many compliments. She also did our programs and menus- stunning as well. Kim’s customer service is also great. There were 2 mix ups ( on my part) but she jumped in a fixed them immediately which I was so grateful for. I highly recommend Purple Wagon Designs.

Purple Wagon Designs is definitely the place to go for any event. Not only is Kim one of the sweetest people I have met, she is extremely talented. She was very quick to respond and great about communicating with me throughout the entire process. She met with me to go over my invitation ideas and was very helpful when at times when I was indecisive. The final design was more than I could have ever dreamed of and I continue to receive compliments about how beautiful my wedding invitations were. Kim also did a beautiful calligraphy chalk board sign for my bridal shower. I highly recommend Purple Wagon Designs and will definitely be using them again in the future!

Kim is seriously the BEST person you would wanna trust for your invitation needs! I am such a demanding bride-to-be, but Kim was always there to hear out my suggestions and feedback and create the invitations of my dreams! Hands down the most professional, responsive, sweet and understanding women I've ever seen. She customed designed over sized invitations for me in red and gold, and also incorporated subtle features of my Indian culture into it. I was initially so hesitant and nervous to explain my ideas to her, but she understood me so well. She even agreed to face time with me and we talked our ideas through video chat. I never felt that Kim and I were hundreds of miles apart, because she was so approachable and responded within hours, if not minutes! She completed the whole process of designing cards to shipping them to me within a couple weeks! That was so damn impressive. I never exaggerate about my experiences because I'm a tough bride to be, but Kim surpassed all my expectations! Thank you very very much Kim for being so dedicated to your work. I cannot wait to get my programs, table cards and so many other things done by her too! Oh and I love that Kim was very very reasonable with her pricing! We paid for the quality and professionalism, and we definitely are super satisfied :)

Kimberly was truly amazing to work with. When I had my first meeting with Kimberly, I knew she would do an amazing job. She took my rough ideas of what I wanted and transformed them into a beautiful invitation suite. She designed my full suite, including invitation, place cards, ceremony programs, favor stickers and reception signs. She was insanely creative, easy to work with, kind and FUN!

I can tell you that I worked with another designer for my save the dates and hated her. I found Kimberly and everything changed. Part of what didn't work with the other designer is that I am very detail-oriented. I pay attention to every comma, dash and capital letter. Kimberly met my standards beautifully. Her quality is really top notch. She is worth every penny!

Purple Wagon made my invitations custom and beautiful. Kim was great to work with and made my vision of a travel theme reception elegant and classy. Everything from the invitations to the table cards and menus and church programs coordinated beautifully. I couldn't have been more pleased with her designs. We have received so many compliments from our friends and family on our save the dates, invitations, and wedding/reception materials. Kimberly did an incredible job. She took in our personalities and what we wanted to convey about our wedding, then designed something truly unique. Her work helped tie the mismatched elements of our celebration together beautifully into something cohesive. Her experience made running a timeline of when to have everything sent out simple and eased any nerves on what to include on the invitations and programs. I cannot speak highly enough of her work, professionalism, and final product.

Planning a wedding is STRESSFUL enough! Finding the right vendors, dress, location, etc...to make your vision come to life can be tough! Purple Wagon Designs and Kimberly prove that great customer service and value still exists! I originally was going to do our wedding invitations myself, but quickly changed my mind when I saw just how much work planning a wedding is. I've told Kimberly that choosing her to design our wedding invitations was the best money I spent! She is creative beyond words! I had no idea what I wanted and really only provided her with our wedding colors. Her design was strikingly beautiful! I didn't want to mail them, we loved them so much! She is SO easy to work with, extremely responsive and prompt, and lets you change/edit anything at any time! She was kind enough to work within our budget without sacrificing design or quality elements. I also used her for our programs, wedding hash tag table tents and coffee bar sign! I could have added on a hundred more things because her work is truly that beautiful! There's no need to look any further for your invitation/signs/programs....Kimberly is the BEST!

I initially saw Kimberly's work online when I was looking for a graphic of Pittsburgh for invitations for my son's rehearsal dinner. Her graphic was perfect--a Pittsburgh bridge and skyline in gold and grays. This was the look I wanted. I contacted Kimberly and we met. How great that she was so easy to work with--sweet and engaging. We left the meeting with a plan and from there we communicated by email. Any options or changes were made by Kimberly the same day. She even sent envelope options to me in Florida when we were away. Kimberly also offered to help me with place cards. Last minute I contacted her and emailed her my guest list. That day she gave me font options, suggested a simple, color bridge graphic to tie the stationery together and put it in a print-ready format. I took it to a Fed Ex store and my place cards were done. Kimberly made it stress-free. I highly recommend her for any graphic work or stationery needs. She is creative, personable and professional--prompt with perfect work. Definitely 5 stars!

Kimberly was a joy to work with on our wedding invitation suite. She is the epitome of professionalism and creativity. I wanted our invitations to be perfect. They are the first thing that your guests really see and I think it sets the tone/expectations for your wedding day. I had been looking online for months trying to come up with ideas. Once I found a few design ideas for our fall themed October wedding, the only person/company that I could find in the Pittsburgh area that I thought could make those ideas come to life was Kimberly at Purple Wagon Designs. Her website at purplewagondesigns.com is extremely well laid out with several examples of her work for any occasion (weddings, baby showers, birth announcements, etc.) as well as packaging options. She can do invitations to fit into any budget. She was extremely accommodating in working around our hectic work schedules in order to do meet-ups. At the initial meeting, she took two hours to get to know us and what our vision for our wedding was and patiently answered all of our numerous questions! She was excellent at picking out different paper and color options that would work together to form our wedding invitations.
From there, she was very quick to come up with design ideas, to respond to questions whether through email or by phone, and was very receptive to my feedback on the designs and any changes that I wanted made or added to the design. Another thing I loved about Kimberly is that she takes the time to customize every person’s design. When you look on her website you will see that no two designs are even remotely the same. I honestly believe that she can take anyone’s vision/theme and turn it into a reality. The responses to our wedding invitations ranged from BEAUTIFUL to STUNNING. I received so many compliments for her design. I HIGHLY recommend Kimberly to anyone for any occasion and will definitely be using her for any occasion that I have in the future.

Thank you Kimberly! Would I recommend Purple Wagon Designs to a friend? ABSOLUTELY! My daughter recently was married, and Kimberly patiently worked with us to design beautiful invitations that captured the vision that my daughter had in mind. We received many lovely compliments from family and friends who said they were the prettiest wedding invitations that they had ever seen! We also ordered place cards, menus and table numbers from Kim, and she carried over the classic theme from the invitations to the reception items. We had a last minute revision for these items, and Kim saved the day by taking the time to personally drop them off at the reception venue, which is on the other side of town from where she lives. A million thanks to Kimberly! We loved her work and so will you!

All I can say is WOW. When it came to wedding invitations I had no idea what I was doing. When I first met with Kim I knew this experience would be perfect. She helped me through every piece of our invitation, from paper colors to font, to make something completely unique for us. She made a package that was exactly what I needed, and fit exactly to my budget. The finished product was better than I could ever imagine and everyone was raving about the invitations after they received them. Kim also did a chalkboard for us and it was absolutely awesome! I highly recommend her for all your stationary and chalkboard needs!

Working with Kim was such a pleasure! She made the invitation process such a breeze. We found Purple Wagon Designs through The Knot and after reading and seeing all of the rave reviews we decided to contact them. I say "them", but it's she - Kimberly, the genius behind Purple Wagon Designs. We met Kimberly in person at a mutual location to discuss all of the details. We had an idea of what we wanted for our wedding invitations and Kimberly took it and ran. She blew us away when we picked them up. She truly took our dream and made it real.

Not only did Kimberly make our invitation dreams come true, she worked within our budget. We couldn't have asked for more from her. When wedding planning and real life got in the way, Kimberly sent us a friendly reminder to keep us on time.

We are 100% satisfied with every thing. The number of compliments we received on the invitations was outrageous! We will recommend Purple Wagon Designs and we will definitely return as customers.

When creating my initial wedding budget, I allotted a small percentage for stationery costs. I didn’t anticipate that it would be something I’d really care about and figured it would be a good area to save some money. For something that was initially so low on my priority list, I was surprised to find that it was my FAVORITE part of the whole wedding process! This is all due to the amazing Purple Wagon Designs! I really enjoyed working with Kimberly. Her professionalism and creativity was remarkable. She provided so many great suggestions and ideas, and is very talented at what she does. Kimberly really tuned into what I was saying and figured out what I liked (and didn’t like). She knew the right questions to ask to determine what I was looking for. I really appreciated Kimberly’s ability to listen well and her great attention to detail. She used my input to create a one-of-a-kind custom design that was exactly what I wanted. I was amazed at how perfectly she translated my vision onto paper. It was like she read my mind! I love knowing that our stationery was a unique design, custom-made specifically for us. It added such a special touch to our wedding. Purple Wagon Designs’ custom stationery is surprisingly affordable. I was shocked to learn that I could get such a high-quality custom product for such an reasonable price. From the beautiful paper to the design and presentation – our entire collection was top-notch. I received numerous compliments on our invitations. Many of our guests said they were so “fancy” and “beautiful.” Other guests commented that they were the “the nicest invitations they ever received.” I am so glad that I made the decision to use Purple Wagon Designs. Kimberly made the whole process very fun and enjoyable, and the end result was a beautiful high-quality product. I can truly say that selecting Purple Wagon Designs for our stationery was one of the best decisions I made for our wedding!

Kimberly did typed calligraphy envelopes for our save the dates since we already had save the dates we were doing on our own. She was incredibly flexible and professional, especially given that this was a relatively small project. We loved her work & creative input and plan to use her for our wedding invitations!

I searched for and contacted several calligraphers before coming across Kimberly and Purple Wagon Designs. Many of the others didn't get back to me quickly, were surprisingly expensive, or... well, snooty. Kimberly was amazing! She has a great personality and was fun to work with AND her work is fantastic. Her turn-around time was great especially since we sent out our invitations just after Christmas. She worked hard to get everything done on time and correctly. Her prices were very fair. I would work with her again in a heartbeat!

We used Purple Wagon designs for our grand re-opening celebrations and they came out abosolutely lovely. Kimberely worked with us to match the invitations with our theme and create a truly unique invitation - in a word, they were stunning! I wish I could score Purple Wagon Designs Higher than a 5. My mind had a vision of wanted I wanted, simple yet elegant, and Kimberly brought it to life. I had so many wonderful compliments on everything she created. She has all kinds of designs for all budgets and they are all gorgeous. Kim is easy to work with, does whatever she can to make the client happy, goes above and beyond, and simply provides a great product. Her designs are original and stunning. She did not disappoint on the first design we saw for our save the dates, wedding invitations, thank yous, and escort cards.

She even made last minute adjustments, sent NEW invitations and got them to us on time. LIFE SAVER!

I would recommend her to anyone for any invitation needed. I just wish I had a reason to need more invitations!

During our wedding preparation, we worked with Kimberly and Purple Wagon Designs for our Save the Dates and invitations. The experience could not have been any better. We are very indecisive people, which let Kimberly's creativity shine. We had basic ideas that she helped forge into what became outstanding finished products. We were impressed with how personable our meetings were, even while they were conducted over the phone and via Skype. I am a graphic designer, and recently I designed my own wedding invitations and my sister's invitations - but after I finished these designs, I felt something was missing.

I contacted Purple Wagon Designs for a consult regarding selecting paper stocks for my invitations; Kimberly was very prompt in replying and meeting with me. I found her expertise to be extremely helpful, and she has a great personality that makes her very easy to work with!

Although I did not utilize Purple Wagon's design services, I found both the website and Facebook page to be very useful! On the company website, I very much appreciate the fact that Purple Wagon provides pricing numbers for invitation packages - In my experience, most wedding vendors are secretive about their pricing, so it was a breath of fresh air to see a vendor who is open and up-front about price points. And looking at client's designs on the Facebook page gave me some great ideas for my own invite design and finishing touches!

WOW, AMAZING,GORGEOUS! Those were all the words & more that our guests said to us about their invites. Kimberly is so awesome to work with, besides being such a sweet, easy going person, she's so extraordinarily creative & talented! We were in major crunch time when we contacted her...she listened to me, had fantastic suggestions, & ideas, showed me stunning product lines, gorgeous samples & worked with me on every detail, she completely nailed it; all without me feeling pressured about the ticking time, even after several color changes! I met Kimberly for the first time in a coffee shop in Mt. Lebanon. I was initially looking for someone to do the calligraphy for my daughter's wedding invitations and had found her through the internet. After meeting her and seeing samples of her work, I decided to have her design the inserts for the invitations in addition to doing the calligraphy for the envelopes. The final product was outstanding! Kimberly is wonderful to work with as she is extremely dependable, honest and always had everything ready when she was supposed to. I was so pleased with the work she did with the invitations that I then used her to design the ceremony programs and all the stationary that we used for the wedding and reception. Everything turned out beautifully and I recommend her highly.

Purple Wagon Designs did a tremendous job with our wedding stationary. I really had no idea what I wanted when I first spoke with Kimberly, the proprietor. I believe I mentioned a few vague preferences along the lines of, "I like green, and also birds." She used that tiny bit of information to create something truly lovely and unique. Kim came to my rescue during my daughter's wedding planning. The bride was supposed to design her own invitations, but ran out of time to complete her design. I contacted Kim to use some of what she had started and finish the project! Kim did that so incredibly well! I loved what she came up with and so did the bride. I was a bit nervous to go the custom invitations route because it's a gamble how it will turn out, unlike choosing from ready-made templates. I also was on a very tight schedule and worried about a lengthy back-and-forth process to finalize the design. But I decided to go for it because I really wanted to weave the stationary design throughout our wedding, including invitations, seating place cards and table numbers, thank you cards, guest book, etc. I'm so glad I did, because Kimberly did an amazing job! I was very impressed with her attention to detail and, more importantly, how well she executed the very first design! It was clear from the initial proof that she had listened carefully during our meeting and was able to recognize both verbal and nonverbal cues to create a design that fits our personality, the style of the venue, level of formality, colors - everything! She even took a stab at wording the invitation for us! I asked her to make one minor change to the colors to get the look I wanted, which she did in less than a day, and before I knew it the invitations were ready for pick-up one week ahead of schedule. Her work is beautiful and possibilities are limited only by your imagination, and on top of that she is quick to respond and a pleasure to talk with. I am so happy, and highly recommend Purple Wagon Designs!

Kim was fantastic. We met at a coffee shop and talked about the look and feel for the wedding as well as any wedding colors we wanted. Once she had an idea, she nailed down the design and feel right away. The wedding invitations were elegant and unique. Once she builds her portfolio some more, it would be great to see options for various events on her website so that future clients can get a sense of what she is able to do. In addition, she quickly incorporated an address change that we needed in a week's time at cost!

My fiancé and I were looking for a classy yet inexpensive way to print out addresses on the wedding card envelopes. Kimberly responded to our emails and inquiries very promptly. She helped us find a neat and tasteful way to print addresses. Very easy to communicate with. She got the envelopes done in the time she promised (less than a week). We forgot a couple of addresses in the first batch. She was very accommodating and completed the extra envelopes quickly so we could get them all out in time. She will show you a sample for your approval before printing all envelopes. We needed to drop off and pick up envelopes from her house which was no problem at all. We were very pleased with the envelopes and time in which she was able to complete them.
