  Roy is fantastic! He did both the engagement shoot and wedding day shoot for us. Not only that, since he traveled to our wedding city, he went above and beyond the 8 hours of time we paid him for by shooting around 13 hours worth of photos. He is very responsive to what we wanted and even was able to make sure we got the green we wanted at a park that seemed too brown to me! I have heard non-stop compliments on his photos and cannot wait to see them finally come in from the wedding! Working as an engineer, I am very picky, a perfectionist, and super detail oriented so when I say someone did a fantastic job, I mean it! AMAZING!

  We could not be happier with Roy as our photographer. We contracted with him about a year out from the wedding... he took our engagement photos, and even took a few random photos to send out on our save the dates! I feel like we've known him forever!!! From the day we spoke with him and he came to our home to show us some of his work and discuss details until our wedding day, he has been there for us no matter what! He was always a text or email away with any questions or concerns, and has a quick turn around time! He provided us with extra photos, just because he gets so excited and wants to share them. He's willing to climb things, roll around on the ground, and travel to pretty much any where to get those awesome shots! I am so happy with our choice!!!

  He is the most AMAZING person, his attention to detail was impeccable. He was very discreet with where he was located and that is a very important thing. You need someone who is not going to distract things. He worked around us. His view in photography was unique and not the usual photos you see everyone else do. EVERYONE in the wedding and attending the wedding were raving about how awesome he was. He took on my wedding weeks within the date, I was so worried about finding someone last minute but when I saw his work and spoke with him I just knew he was the one. The chemistry was great, he asked for details and history that none else seemed to care about and he retained it for the moments that were important to me to be captured. I am beyond excited to see the rest of his work and will be using him for my daughter's senior photos. He is the most friendly person ever, he understands that wedding are a huge stress but this is one area that I assure you will not have to worry about. I just love him!

  Roy was so fun to have at the wedding, he was professional and friendly. Everyone loved him and of course his beautiful work!   Roy Wilcox is probaly one of the greatest photographer's we have had, we have used him for several things such as our wedding and some family photos, he was always on time, in fact was always there before we were looking at the surrounding area for good places to take the picture.He always had great ideas and very creative and listened when we had a few ideas of our own. He also has had alot experience so he knows alot of places for great photo shoots. Since we've taken the pictures we have had alot comments on how they turned out, we are very happy with Pure touch photography .

  We had a great time working with Roy! The pictures turned out great and he was flexible with my husband and my crazy schedules! He was also VERY reasonable with prices!!!!

  Roy was awesome! He went above and beyond what I wanted or even expected. He gave me exactly what I wanted and he is incredibly talented! We feel blessed to have gotten to know him and we are extremely pleased with his work!

  My husband and I loved working with Roy! So grateful for him and the wonderful memories he captured. We used Roy for our baby boys first photos as well. We look forward to working with him again and again for our next child and family shoots. Thanks again Roy for everything!

  Don't Hire

  Roy and his team were hired to photograph for my wedding. We met multiple times and I even spent three hours putting together a play by play schedule for what shots need to be taken and when. I also put down good spots for photos, etc. He was responsive and seemed to understand everything, until the day of the wedding. He went completely rogue and did not get half of the shots requested. I have more pictures of the tables and food than my family. He didn't even organize the pictures when he sent them to us. Please save your wedding and don't hire. He didn't even make sure my hair looked decent or anything for the pictures. Completely unprofessional and the pictures aren't even that good. I am using pictures from friends in my wedding album because his were so bad.

  Hi Yasmine! I was surprised to see this review (my first negative review ever), especially since this is the first feedback I've ever received on your wedding. I wish you could have worked with me earlier on this because I'm sure we could have resolved most of your concerns.
  I'm sorry you're so dissatisfied! Your day was beautiful. Hectic and very fast-moving, but with the hundreds of people in a small building, I thought we did quite well. Your shot list was addressed closely, but if you remember, the individual portions ran quite long, and there were many shots which were agreed just couldn't be taken since your schedule was so strict. We literally had family and your religious leaders pulling people away.
  I'm sorry you feel so poorly about the whole event, especially since after going back through the photos myself, so many of them are very good. Much success to you and Mendel moving forward.
