Pure Bridal is Amazing!

I found my dream dress that made my day feel amazing and true when I wore it for the wedding! It made my (now) husband tear up when he saw me. It was so beautiful!

Pure Bridal helped me too try on so many dresses until I found the perfect fit! They were so helpful and made me feel so comfortable while searching! I highly recommend checking them out!

Appointment of my dreams

I am over the moon about my experience with Pure Bridal! I had shopped a couple different stores & I felt the selections in my size were extremely limited. The stores were hard to navigate & the experience was somewhat overwhelming.
When I went to Pure Bridal I felt very welcomed the environment is very laid back & the store is so easy to figure out. You shop your size- which is a HUGE plus. It’s hard to shop when nothing is in your size. It’s automatically discouraging. I did not have that issue. The first dress I saw on the rack that was my size was THE ONE. They have a bow on the hanger system to determine price range. The sweet girl fitting me politely pointed out to me that it was double my price range- she did not push me. Not. One. Bit. To try it anyway- if anything she almost encouraged me to check other options first. Sure enough that first dress I spied is the one and after trying it on at my pick up fitting I couldn’t be more happy. Every dress id ever bought- from freshmen homecoming to senior prom- there was only one dress that I didn’t have regrets about.... and I know on my wedding day I will have NO regrets, feel beautiful, confident, and even a little sexy! I 100% would recommend Pure bridal to anyone- at least try it! It’s a complete no pressure environment! I went in with the idea I would NOT be buying a dress that day & a little fate stepped in- an advanced wedding gift & the dress of my dreams! ??
The owner Rita was incredible! She was so genuine- which is not easy to find in the wedding industry! I love her spirit & love of her job! When I went in today- I know the emails and posts I had seen about her being so excited to see her brides was 100% truth. She wasn’t excited to see the dollar signs- she was excited to see the raw emotion of one of the defining moments that leads up to the biggest day of the lives of so many brides!

Such an amazing experience!

Wedding Dress shopping at Pure Bridal was an absolute dream come true! Rita was extremely helpful and had amazing guidance when it came to looking at specific styles, and challenged me to try on items I wouldn't necessarily pick out myself. At the end of our appointment my mom and I were in happy tears over my wedding dress selection along with the accessories.

Thank you, Pure Bridal, for making this experience so perfect for us! I will always cherish this memory

Absolutely Amazing!

I can't say enough good things about Pure Bridal in Ames! From my stylist to the entire experience, it was amazing! I didn't think I'd cry when I found the dress, but I did! My stylist was so understanding and supportive. We even had my 6-year-old ringing the bell when I said yes!

Phenomenal and personable staff

The girls at Pure Bridal were phenomenal! My best friend's wedding and my wedding are a month apart so we both went at the same time and they were more than happy to accommodate both of us. We were treated like we were the only brides there that day and we loved it! Tried on so many dresses which were all amazing. We both said yes to the dress and left happy! I am impressed with how personable everyone is there. Anytime someone asks where they should go shopping for their dress I always tell them Pure Bridal! Definitely 5 out of 5 stars!

Ashlynn at Pure Bridal helped me select the perfect wedding gown on the first day that I tried on dresses! I was looking for a strapless fit and flare, but I was thinking something very simple. I brought my sister along to help me decide. Ashlynn put me in some of my picks, but my sister and I were not feeling them. Then she pulled out a dress that had a little bling on it, buttons down the back, a built in ivory sash, and lace on the entire bodice and down the train, and I was in love despite the fact that I was looking for something simpler to begin with! The dress needed to be taken in a bit, but when I walked toward the mirror in the bridal shop and saw what I might look like on my wedding day, I was sold! The dress was perfect for me and was actually easy to dance in all night. When I finally figured out what I wanted to do with my hair about a year later, I also found the perfect hair piece to go with my dress! I could not recommend Pure Bridal more enthusiastically! I felt beautiful all day and night!

I had an amazing experience at Pure Bridal! Andrea was my consultant, and she was FABULOUS. I had a large group with me, but her focus was mainly on me and made sure I liked the dress, even if my group didn't agree. She ended up helping me find the perfect dress, AND the perfect accessories - the earrings even matched my ring! I recommend anyone looking for a bridal store that will help you find your dream dress no matter what to go to Pure Bridal!

I loved my experience there i would recommend for everyone. The workers bend over back wards just to make the bride to be feel more comfortable less over whelming.We went to a couple of places it just wasnt the same. And i got to say YES to one of your guys dresses!!!!

Such a great experience. My consultant was so nice, honest and attentive. She was able to read my impression on how much I liked the dress(es). She picked styles I liked and ones that where similar to my "pins." During the buying process, they checked to make sure my dress would come in on time and provided me with all options. They really spent time with me since I walked in the door until I left. I highly recommend them!

I love this bridal shop. I have been there many times before but never for myself. This last time was for me and I loved every part of the process. My attendant was fantastic! She was super easy and enjoyable to talk to, knew what she was doing with all dresses, and gave the perfect amount of opinion on the dresses I tried on.

What I love about Pure Bridal is that the owner and staff are always so friendly and welcoming. I had a blast looking for my dream dress and didn’t feel rushed or pressured. Then this last time I came in to try my dress on again it was nice to be able to choose my veil and just walk around in my dress. One of the best experiences ever! Thank you again! :)

My experience at Pure Bridal was awesome. Immediately after I requested to schedule an appointment, they contacted me to confirm the date and time. Within the next week they sent me another confirmation as well as a useful email with tips and pointers about trying on dresses. I had Jordynn help me and I can't say how kind and patient she was with me. She was so helpful in finding me exactly what I described, as well as made sure in the end I found the right dress. They also have an awesome selection of dresses as well as dress sizes so you can actually see what dresses look like with the correct size... I loved this. Overall this was a wonderful experience and I'm so lucky I found the dress too! :)

I had such a great experience at pure bridal! I am a plus size bride and they had the biggest selection of dresses in my size to try on. They had a dress that i loved that did not come in my size and worked with me to try and give me an idea of what it would look like! I could not have had a better experience anywhere else!

I had a wonderful experience shopping for my wedding dress at pure bridal (Ashlyn did amazing!). My biggest concern was that there would not be enough dresses in my size to try on as I had called and been to many other shops with little to no plus size selections. I was THRILLED to see not only did they have a huge plus size section, they were ALL so beautiful and a variety of styles and price ranges, I tried on many dress and loved the whole experience AND I was able to say YES to the most perfect beautiful dress! Thanks so much Pure Bridal for turning something I was dreading into one of the BEST parts of wedding planning so far.

I had an awesome experience! My consultant was amazing and with my fear of commitment never pressured me into anything. I returned the day after my original appointment to purchase my dress and was again very impressed with all of the staff. The best thing to hear is that they want to give you the experience they would want as a bride and not do things to just benefit themselves.

Shopping at Pure Bridal was an awesome experience! Dress shopping was the part of wedding planning that I was most excited for but was nervous about being discouraged by the sample sizes. Pure Bridal has a large range of sizes and I was able to try on all of the dresses I liked. We came back the next day to choose between the final 3 and I said yes to my dress! I would definitely recommend Pure Bridal!

The consultants were amazing! They were able to help me find exactly what I was looking for. I went to several bridal shops and they were by far the friendliest and most fun place to look for dresses. I never thought I would cry in a dress either but I definitely did when I found the one. Excellent care from these ladies they all truly seem to want the best for you on your wedding day!!

I had an appointment with Ashlyn, and she was so great to work with. She accommodated our large group as well as picking dresses I didn't even know I would like. She listened to what I wanted and made suggestions on what she thought with her knowledge of the industry. She even ended up pulling my dream dress! There were so many options to choose from as well as the store being clean and organized. I would definitely recommend Pure Bridal to any bride looking for their dream dress!

Walking into Pure Bridal was such a relief after shopping for dresses in my hometown. They have a huge selection of dresses, amazing designers, awesome consultants (Ashlyn) and so many different sizes. I didn't have to squeeze into small dresses and wasn't forced to "imagine" what a dress should look like if it were my size. That's such a huge thing to me and makes finding "the dress" so much more enjoyable and stress free. I had a vision and knew I wanted something unique. I had pinned so many beautiful dresses on Pinterest and never imagined I would find something comparable to them in Iowa, but Pure Bridal will seriously make your wedding dreams come true. I tried on three dresses and said "YES!" So thankful for Pure Bridal and would definitely recommend Ashlyn--she was wonderful and I felt so comfortable working with her. I told her about my vision and the vibe I was going for and she knew exactly what to pull and I fell in love with my dress as soon as I looked in the mirror. Can't recommend this place enough! :)

Pure Bridal was the first and only store I went to for wedding dress shopping. I’m so happy with my decision! I had a specific dress I was looking to try on, and when I contacted them to see if they had it they knew exactly what dress I was talking about. Julia helped me the day of my appointment and she already knew which dress I really wanted to try on. The fact that they made note of that in my information for my appointment impressed me. I tried on several other dresses at my appointment as well (they have a great selection of gorgeous gowns!) ultimately it came down to the dress I really wanted to try on and another, and Julia was so patient with me as I kept wanting to try on each dress multiple times before making my final decision. I could tell that the staff and the owner genuinely care about your experience there and your dress. They go through all of the information and details about what to expect after you purchase your dress (e-mails and phone calls to expect from them, recommendation on who to take your dress to for alterations, when the dress is estimated to ship and the option to keep it at the store). I have already recommended Pure Bridal to a friend who is going dress shopping soon and without a doubt will to anyone else in the future!

I have been to five different Bridal boutiques across Iowa and none of them had the quality of service that Pure Bridal did. I felt very comfortable with my stylist and they had dresses in many price ranges that were clearly identifiable by a bow. It took out the embarrassment of not being able to afford an expensive dress but also allowed me to know right away the price range of the dress I was pulling . My stylist was awesome! She took the time to ask me questions I didn't even think about and she handled my MOH opinions like a champ- she always took my side. I am contemplating between two dresses from this Bridal boutique but even if I decided against them, I KNOW I will be buying a dress from Pure Bridal because of their amazing customer service!!

I LOVED Pure Bridal! I had been to a couple other places to look for my dress and the staff seemed to be rushed or not willing to try different styles, I liked the top of one and the bottom of another and she wouldn't even go look to see if they had something to match. When I went to Pure Bridal the person helping me worked with me so well to make sure my experience was AMAZING! I tried on 5 dresses and we kept going back to the first one, and she had no issue when I ended up putting the first one on 3 different times! It was hands down the best experience I had and every bride-to-be should go look there!!

With wedding dress shopping being such an exciting and surreal event in your life you would think retailers would follow suit but my first stop in west des moines was super boring and nothing like I imagined the experience to be. It completely turned me off to continue dress shopping. But Pure Bridal was a game changer! AMAZING! The girl who helped me at my fitting was SOOOO sweet and made me feel comfortable right away! (Jordann)And the rest of the staff was so kind and welcoming! Even scheduling the appointment was way better than the previous store. Such a inviting and happy environment. The manager was super professional and helpful! I would HIGHLY recommend Pure Bridal for your first stop if you want to be satisfied!!!

My family (3 daughters and myself) was extremely pleased with our experience at Pure Bridal. About a month ago, I called numerous bridal shops looking for a particular wedding dress for my daughter. My conversation with Pure Bridal was the only one that lasted more than 3 minutes. They were so informative on the phone, asking questions, giving suggestions, etc. It made me want to drive 2 hours, just to shop there, despite the fact that about 20 other bridal shops were closer.
We were not disappointed upon our arrival. They welcomed us, gathered information about the wedding, dress style, etc. and within 10 minutes they were picking out dresses and trying them on. The staff were friendly and made all of us feel comfortable; THEY made it fun! If one person did not know the answer to any of our questions, they would find someone that did. Although my daughter was interested in a particular dress, they found similar dresses for her to consider as well. Because of this, we found THE dress, which was not the dress she originally wanted. It was a very positive experience for all of us.
As with most things in life, it is not the material things that are important, it's the people. The staff at Pure Bridal made all of us feel that way! We could have bought my daughter's dress at a local shop, but choose Pure Bridal because of the professionalism, support, and the enjoyable experience we had on a Sunday afternoon in Ames, Iowa, Pure Bridal has exceptional customer service in a relaxed atmosphere!

Finding the perfect dress can be a challenging task. I started looking in the Iowa City area and found dresses that I liked but was not thrilled with my service from either place so continued to call around to shops for dresses in the same style. When I called Pure Bridal, they had the dress I was looking for and were helpful on the phone sharing that they had more dresses in that same style.
Today I had an appointment at Pure Bridal and am still beaming with excitement that I found the perfect dress for my big day! The staff there is so friendly. They go above and beyond to help their customers find exactly what they are looking for, to make sure they stay in the budget they are hoping for, and to make sure their customer is comfortable. I worked with Autumn, Julia, and Rita who were all fabulous and had us laughing the entire time. It was such a great, easy, and enjoyable experience! I HIGHLY recommend visiting Pure Bridal. The 2 hour drive for me was so worth it!

This place was THE BEST!!! I had been to 3 places prior to trying dresses here. I was looking for a specific dress and Rita found me one that was even better than what I had in mind. She listened to everything I had to say and made everything that I asked happen. She was so incredibly helpful and wondeful to work with. The selection of dresses is by far the best I have come acrossed and the process of trying on and accesorizing them was just perfect. I would recommend Pure Bridal to every bride no matter what you are looking for, they are the best!!!

There are not enough words for how incredible Pure Bridal is. Every time I have gone in, I have had nothing but spectacular customer service. The girls remember me, they are detail oriented, and have made me feel like family each time I have gone in. When looking for my wedding gown, and even bridesmaid dresses, they stuck to my budget, brought me dresses in my size (which is VERY nice-size 16 and top heavy) and even listened to my bridesmaid's budgets and ideas. When picking out my jewelry, Rita and Kayse were so helpful. They helped me pick out custom pieces for me, and my bridesmaids. I tell literally everyone I know to go there because the team at Pure Bridal is the best-you will laugh, crack jokes, cry happy tears, and walk out of Pure Bridal knowing you have made the best life choice while looking for bridal attire.

You should definitely make time to go see this vendor! My experience with this bridal store was amazing compared to anywhere else I looked for my gown. I was lucky enough to travel to New York City to shop for a wedding dress for my September wedding. After deciding travel for alterations would be difficult, I decided to come back to Iowa and hope for the best. I made my appointment at Pure Bridal and realized shortly after they had my dream dress in stock. Although the dress was an 8, and I'm not... We were able to tell what I would look like in the trumpet style dress and skype my mom in from Puerto Rico. Easy is an understatement. Pure Bridal made the process a breeze and rivals the New York boutiques as far as style and inventory.

I went to Pure Bridal because I adored the trendy dresses and knew I would have lots of options. My husband and I decided to elope and that left me with one month to find my dream dress! Needless to say, the dress I fell in love with fit perfect but would of never been ordered in time. I had the best experience with Pure Bridal. I had bad experiences with some other wedding dress shops who had mostly tiny sample sizes. I am not really big but hated walking out of the room with my bottom and most of my backside hanging out. Pure Bridal was different. They put me in dresses that fit me so I could see better what I would look like on the big day.
I was an indecisive bride and didn't know what I wanted in a dress. Pure Bridal consultants knew exactly what styles would work best for me and were awesome at pulling many different styles to help me figure out what I liked. They were professional and let you know their prices upfront so you don't fall in love with a dress you cannot afford. I would highly recommend them.

There are not enough great things that I can say about Pure Bridal. I had in mind a few style details that I wanted in my dress. I assumed that I might find one or two of them but as soon as they pulled out the dress for me it had everything that I dreamed of in my perfect dress. To top it off it was also in my budget. The owners are amazing people with such love for what they are doing. Their entire team made me feel like I was shopping with my best friends. I live in Illinois but went to college in Ames. Even though I have graduated I still made the trip to Pure Bridal for my dress and it was worth every mile. I also ended up getting the bridesmaid dresses there and the girls looked perfect in them. It was a wonderful experience for such a special time in my life!

Where do I even start... I'm a fashion blogger so naturally finding a wedding dress seemed impossible for me. I searched all over for my dress, Chicago, Minneapolis, Des Moines and Seattle and found absolutely nothing. I live in Ames and one of my friends recommended Pure Bridal and I just went in to "check it out." From the moment I walked in I felt so comfortable and then surely after confident this would be where I would find my dress. The owners are AMAZING and the consultants are so lovely and knowledgeable about what they offer. When I looked all over, I was looking at up to $10,000 dresses and they couldn't even begin to compete with my stunner I got from pure bridal, priced at $1,800. They have high style at totally affordable prices and I want to thank Pure Bridal for giving me the dress of my absolute wildest dreams. Pure Bridal was the second place that I went dress shopping. My experience was much, much better than the first. The lady that assisted me was so helpful and so kind! I told her my budget right away and she made sure to stick to it and only pull dresses within my price limit. All of the dresses were beautiful and even the budget savvy dresses were high quality.
In addition, the attendants were never pushy and allowed me to make my own decision. I said yes to the dress at this store and would absolutely recommend that anyone in the area looking for a dress try this store first!

I bought my wedding dress off the rack for an unbelievably low price - since it was a perfect fit (a rare occurrence, I'm told), there were no alteration costs.

In hindsight I should have had them store the dress for me until the wedding too, a service I did not opt for.

They were professional, helpful and honest.

I am loving my experience with Pure Bridal. Of course it isn't over yet! They are currently storing my beautiful dress along with all of the accessories. I can go in anytime and see it, or even try it on (with an appointment of course!) All of the staff love their jobs, you can tell it from the moment you are greeted at the door. I love that they ask you to take your shoes off. You have your own changing room/viewing area, but you can also spy to see what other brides are trying on. All of the ladies walk around looking at all of the dresses and complementing you. You will truly feel special while you are there. I am so happy I went there and found my dress! And it was during one of their trunk shows (I got free shoes for purchasing at the trunk show). Thank you Pure Bridal!

I was searching for a red wedding dress. I was almost certain I wouldhave to go out of state to get one. I tried on a few white dresses to get the feel of what I would like. I LOVED working with Pure Bridal. I told them my budget and general style I was thinking about about. We pulled four dresses to start with and the second dress was THE ONE. I have absolutely no "dress regret". Every time I have put it on I fall more in love with it. They were great about pulling only samples that fit me ( as a plus size bride). Not a dress person at all but talked about styles I liked before my appointment and they had several dresses pulled for me to try in when I had my appointment. Turned out the first dress was exactly what I wanted.

Pure Bridal made every visit a memorable one. Rita and Kasey (plus staff) are absolutely amazing and so fun. The selection of wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses are phenomenal. It's almost disappointing that you get married once because I would choose Pure Bridal everytime.

Rita & Kayse at Pure Bridal were amazing to work with. They made me feel special, and gave me that true bride dress shopping experience I was looking for. I did not receive such personalized, caring service at any other wedding boutique I looked at. Not only are Pure Bridal's prices very reasonable, they offer a fantastic selection of dresses in ALL sizes. We were so pleased with our service, that we purchased EVERYTHING clothing/accessory related here. A great one-stop shop for all of your wedding attire needs!

My experience at Pure Bridal was fabulous! The women in there are so helpful and make you feel so special. They make you feel as if you are the only bride looking for the perfect dress. I found my dress their and and SO OVER THE MOON for it. After I purchased my dress in Ames, IA I moved to Pittsburgh, PA and they were so helpful in getting it to me asap. Love Pure Bridal.

I've had the best experience at Pure Bridal when purchasing my wedding gown! They're so easy to work with and answered any questions within a reasonable time. They're easy to get appointments with as well and I'd refer them to everyone I know! Awesome staff, great customer service, and wonderful dresses to choose from!

First off I will just say that I had an amazing experience at Pure Bridal in Ames,IA. I had no idea what I wanted in a wedding dress or bridesmaids dresses and I walked in and in a relatively short amount of time found the most amazing dress and great bridesmaids dresses as well! I had been to only one other dress store and am not a big dress person so I was really not looking forward to dress shopping, but Pure Bridal makes you feel so special and they are so easy to get along with! The managers are extremely knowledgeable and they will let you know what they think--they're not just trying to get money out of you, they want you to have the best wedding possible. I have recommended Pure Bridal to about 6 friends and 4 have found their dresses there as well! I have nothing but great things to say about this establishment! I worked with Bre and she was beyond fantastic, great worker, and you can tell she belongs in the fashion industry, she knows her stuff!

Yes to Pure Bridal

The staff are sooo friendly. They want to help you find the dress of your dreams and are legitimately invested in their brides. They have plenty of dresses to try on and help you narrow down your selection. I said yes to the dress there and couldn't have been happier!

I had a great and personalized experience at Pure Bridal. From the minute my party and I walked in the door I felt welcomed by the PureBridal team. My consultant was patient, supportive, and totally centered the experience to me. She listened to to my style preferences and picked perfect dresses for me and my taste. The gals at Pure Bridal were great, they were all very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and seemed genuinely excited for me when I quickly found a dress I loved! I had sent some photos of what type of dress I was looking for ahead of time and they had some dresses picked out and ready for me in the dressing room when we arrived for the appt which was really nice.

I cannot say enough great things about Pure Bridal. I worked with Rita and she truly found me the perfect dress. I was really torn between two dresses and she came in on her day off to let me come back to make my decision. Pure bridal has a huge selection of gorgeous gowns. I am so excited to go back to have my bridesmaids try in dresses.

I bought 4 bridesmaid dresses from Pure Bridal. They were beautiful dresses and the sizes were almost perfect - we just needed to get 2 hemmed and one brought in a little. It was easy to choose and order the dresses and they were very accommodating when we were taking a long time to decide which dresses we wanted.

They had a wonderful selection of dresses and plenty in my size which i did not find at other stores. Also they sell dresses as low as the designer will let them!
