We used Punta Cana Photographer for videography for our January 2026 wedding and had a great experience with them. Their packages were reasonably priced, and Tanya's communication was very prompt. On the day of the wedding, Bel was our videographer and he really went above and beyond manning multiple cameras and a drone. We literally say him sprinting several times to get the shot. We absolutely loved how our videos turned out. -

We had the absolute best experience working with Matteo for our wedding in the Dominican Republic. From the very beginning, he was incredibly professional and quick to respond, which made the whole process so smooth and stress-free. On the wedding day, he and Dereck made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera and guided us in a way that felt natural and easy.
Matteo was truly a pleasure to work with—kind, organized, and genuinely invested in capturing our day beautifully. The turnaround time for our full photo album was impressively fast, and the photos themselves exceeded every expectation. Huracan Beach Club Wedding
Our wedding was cancelled the week before and they were honestly so supportive and responsive with our crisis and suggested various locations. Huracan beach club could accommodate us from their recommendation and it was a wonderful ceremony, just the two of us! Mica and Bel made us feel so relaxed and at ease infront of the cameras and gave lots of direction for shots (which we definitely needed). The outcome is stunning and we are so thankful to them both xx -

We got married on October 19th, 2024, Matteo and Marcos were our photographers. They brought a light hearted and fun vibe that helped set the tone for an amazing day! I came prepared with a shot list but they also made recommendations that I had not thought of and I really appreciated that. They were awesome at the reception and I got many compliments about the entire team! My experience from beginning to end was amazing and I would highly recommend! I got a handful of sneak peak pictures 2 days after the wedding and I am looking forward to seeing the rest! -

I was worried about how my photos and video would turn out. Mika (photographer) was so easy going and tried many different posses and always reminded us to relax. She also did Trash the dress and ladies, this event is a NO miss, you HAVE to do it. Pictures are amazing, romantic, fun, and all the above. Mica was our photographer and she was amazing! She was so friendly and personable it made our experience so much more relaxed. There was an issue with her getting into our resort, but she communicated with me the entire time and was extremely patient and understanding. Throughout the process, my questions were answered quickly and thoroughly. We received a sneak peek of our photos within 3 days and the rest within 3 weeks. They are stunning! Amazing Photo/Video Team!
Our experience with Punta Cana Photographer was outstanding! From the beginning, Alissa was so responsive and prompt. They worked with me and my budget and were so beyond helpful. On wedding day, we met our photographer Mica and videographer Victor, both of whom I cannot say enough good things about. Mica was sharp and did a great job directing my husband and I, as well as all of our friends and family. The photos she took were so beautiful and such high quality. I was truly blown away. We received our trailer and full length video from Victor and we are just absolutely so impressed! He truly captured our true selves and all the love and fun that created our special day. The entire team at Punta Cana Photographer is absolutely amazing! We originally planned our wedding for August 2020, which unfortunately was postponed (2 times) thanks to covid. Alissa was always quick to respond to our emails and questions, and the team was so accommodating for us to choose a new date when we were ready to plan our big day (3 years later).
We had the pleasure of working with Gaston for our wedding. He captured our day effortlessly and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, offering tips on how to make our photos look as natural and candid as possible. He was so easy to work with and we are so appreciative that we were able to have him there to capture our wedding day. All of our guests were so impressed with him on the day of, and they all were blown away when we shared our album. The photos turned out beautiful and had a super quick turn around for our entire album!
We also had a couples photo shoot (instead of a trash the dress session) with Matteo. He was also so easy to work with and made us feel comfortable in the short time we were working with him! Our morning beach session at Macao Beach was perfect and we were thrilled to get sneak peaks the next day.
I highly recommend the team at Punta Cana Photographer. They made planning our destination wedding so much easier with their incredible team that offered their advice and tips for planning along the way.

Amazing doesn’t cut it

I had a great experience with this vendor! They were so sweet and accommodating for my wedding and welcome party. They also communicated so much leading up to the wedding. Because that I had a destination wedding, I was concerned about communication. They eased any concerns I had by responding to promptly with any questions throughout the process. I found Punta Cana Photographer based on reviews from multiple online sites and then checked out their gallery. From the moment, I requested more information, they were very responsive and helpful! Leading up to our wedding day, they would periodically send me information to help me prepare and think about different things. They day of our wedding, the photographer and videographer were on time and were able to capture moments from getting ready, the ceremony, and reception. Amazing experience with Punta Cana Photographer!
We used Punta Cana Photography as our wedding photographer in February 2023 and have been extremely impressed by their service! From the second we put down our deposit, they were extremely communicative in the year leading up to our wedding, sending us different blogs and tips to help us prepare for the big day. Any time I had questions, they responded in a timely manner. On the big day, we had Mica as our photographer and she was absolutely incredible! She did such a good job making us feel comfortable. Neither my husband or I consider ourselves to be very photogenic and I was worried our photos would look overly posed/awkward. We are both blown away at how amazing our photos turned out and we are so happy with them. Everything looks so natural. Mica also did an absolutely amazing job capturing a lot of "candid" moments throughout our special day and we'll cherish these memories forever. Finally, we got our teasers back within a few days of the wedding which we absolutely LOVED, and then got our entire wedding album back in less than 3 weeks! We cannot believe how fast the turn around time was. I would strongly recommend Punta Cana Photographer to anyone and would use them again in the future if we're ever looking to have photos done in the DR! We got married on 2-2-22 at the Hard Rock. I could not be any more pleased with our experience. Alissa made the booking process extremely easy and was in contact prior to our big day with helpful tips and to assist in any way. On 2-2 we had Gaston and Bel who were just so fantastic. My children (3 &4) do not like their picture taken and Gaston blew me away. He was SOOO good with them- they have never been so comfortable taking pictures. I can not stress enough how grateful I am for that. Bel was also phenomenal. They were both so friendly, creative and really put us at ease. Amazing and organized!!
From the start, the team at Punta Cana Photographer were amazing and attentive. They set up a video call to answer all of my questions before I made a decision and gave me all of the information I was looking for. The price was very reasonable and they were attentive throughout the whole process. They send fun blogs and updates until the Big Day so you feel like you get to know them. After I arrived at the resort, they sent me information about the team that was coming to photograph and record on the wedding day. It was a tree-free process and the team was so friendly and personable during the wedding. The best experience ever!
We feel this photogrpaphy/videography company was the best money spent given the quality of their work, professionalism, and team members. We did the full package and had an amazing experience with Bel (videographer), Mica (photographer) and Matteo (photographer). They met every need and captured our day so perfectly. I will forever cherish these photos/videos. While getting ready, I was feeling nervous and believe it or not Mica kept me calm by constantly reminding me the day is on MY time and to not stress. She made me feel so comfortable taking bridal photos and couple photos (we are the ones who are awkward if not told what to do). Their energy while filming made our day so much better! They stayed until the very end and captured every moment we wanted captured (without even asking). We had an extremely large group (9 bridesmaids, 9 groomsmen, 86 guests) for our destination wedding. Even with that large of a group they made it happen and went above and beyond. Alyssa was always coordinating with top notch professionalism and eagerness to help and please. We will continue to recommend them! And have gotten a million compliments on our photos and videos. We booked Gaston and his team for photo and video after seeing his work through the Facebook group for punta cana brides! After seeing some past wedding photos I knew I wanted him for our wedding day! I wanted natural and soft photos and wow did he deliver! I am absolutely enamored with my wedding photos. They are beautiful delicate and romantic! He got all my right angles and photographed the entire day so beautifully! Videography is a must and we were so happy we included it in our package! You must add the drone no questions asked- those shots were amazing!! I loved that Gaston knew exactly how to direct us and made us feel at ease for all the shots! We booked them for 8 hours and it was the perfect amount of time for our wedding day! We are so grateful for him and his team for capturing our beautiful day! They truly want to make sure you love your photos and videos and were very flexible with us when we requested an edit on our trailer! They were prompt and sent us back the new edit within a few days! We had the most amazing experience with Punta Cana Photographer! At first I was hesitant due to them having so many 5 star reviews. I didn’t know if it was real or not. After my own experience with Alissa and Gaston I can clearly see that all of the positive reviews are definitely legit. My husband and I were hesitant about scheduling an appointment due to the ongoing pandemic. Alissa and Gaston were extremely patient with us from the very beginning. On the day of Gaston was able to accommodate our last minute requests. Gaston arrived at our resort and wore a mask during our entire car ride. He was extremely understanding and patient with our two energetic toddlers. He definitely is a professional. He was extremely creative and thoughtful. We had a ton of fun. He went above and beyond to help us. He even took time out of his day to research something for us that was completely unrelated to photography. We loved the useful infographics and articles they sent pre-wedding, and honestly, it was like bridal therapy for me. I’d be stressed about a delayed response from a different vendor, and suddenly an email would appear in my inbox from Punta Cana Photographer, reminding me that island-time responses can be the norm for DR wedding vendors. It felt as if they could read my mind and anticipate every bridal need. This team understands the challenges of planning a destination wedding and will help you get through the tough spots so you can truly enjoy your day.
We worked with Gaston and Bel onsite for our wedding. Their professional, calm attitudes helped our entire party remain relaxed and in the moment. Their ability to be everywhere at once without you or your guests noticing is astounding. It really allows them to capture the organic beauty of your wedding day. You’re able to be fully present with your family and friends, not worrying about which camera you should be smiling at. Hiring Punta Cana Photographer was hands down the best decision I made wedding wise! They are unparalleled in communication, organization and quality. It can be so nerve wracking trying to plan a wedding from a different country without ever meeting vendors, seeing your venue, etc - but from day one with them I always felt like everything was under control. The office manager Alissa is a customer service pro and I can't thank her enough - she is extremely quick, friendly and informative with her responses! As I am the queen of being over prepared - I found their website, blog, wedding guide book and wedding day timeline they made me all ridiculously helpful!
On the day of the wedding Gaston and Bel were unreal - both of them were somehow everywhere at once literally running to get the perfect shot! Looking at the photos you would swear we had multiple photographers from all the different angles! Gaston was extremely organized, professional and easy to work with. My husband and I are both typically super awkward as soon as you put us in front of a camera but he was so patient and made us feel so comfortable! We received our photos in 3 weeks and videos in about 4 and a half - And of course they came out AHH-MAZING! I can't stop looking at them, seriously I think i'm addicted.. Leading up to the wedding, they were great about emailing me information about what to expect on the wedding day, which I found very helpful. I also really appreciated how informative their website was. Considering I was planning our Punta Cana wedding from the US, where I couldn't have the option of meeting the photographer face-to-face before the wedding, I still felt like I had plenty of knowledge on how they operate and what to expect on the big day.
On our wedding day, we worked with Gaston & Bel who were both incredible. Both my husband and myself are a bit shy in front of a camera, but they did such a great job at making us feel relaxed. We appreciated how nice and organized they were throughout the day. Of course their wedding video and photos turned out AMAZING as well! Gaston & Bel perfectly captured every incredible moment during our big day that we can now treasure for the rest of our lives.

Gaston is not just a great photographer, he is an amazing person as well. The photos are great and he takes his business seriously, but at the same time, he is easy to talk to, gives great suggestions, and really just takes charge of the tasks. He does all this with kindness and a calm demeanor making everyone feel comfortable. He went above and beyond to make sure that the day went by smooth, he also made sure that all the important moments were captured. Events can be stressful, with Gaston you do not have to worry about the photographs at all! They are so professional and efficient that at moments you can even forget that they are there. One of the people who stands out to me, in making our day magical is the incredibly talented Gaston Garcia Corral from Punta Cana Photographer.
Neither my husband nor I are "photo people," meaning we're awkward posers who never feel comfortable behind a camera. We're also not big on PDA with each other. So you can imagine we had a bit of anxiety with wedding photos...
Gaston walked us through every step. He knew how to capture us authentically, and coached us patiently. Thankfully, he also ever-so-politely reminded our guests that it was OUR day, not theirs. He sensed when we needed a break, and pushed us for a few more when he knew we could handle it. And 30 days later, we had 100s of incredible photos! Seriously, every photo is outstanding.

My now husband and I were a little hesitant to hire a photographer as we had a photography package included with our resort. All I can say is this was the best money we spent! Gaston was absolutely amazing and our pictures turned out better than I could have ever hoped for. From the first e-mail contact you feel great, Gaston gives you endless ideas and inspiration. There is always e-mail contact and Gaston tries to get to know you and your wishes.
On the day of our wedding, we and our guests were absolute impressed by Gaston.
After a short time he knew all our names. He is passionate about the job, he works professionally absoulut and is enthusiastic at work.

You know you've got a great photographer when even your wedding guests are raving about his work! Seriously - despite the beautiful destination wedding scenery and the all-inclusive drinks... our friends and family were all telling us throughout our reception how phenomenal our photographer was - and they hadn’t even seen his photos yet!
The resort we were married at included a small (insufficient) photography package, which we could pay extra to add more hours of photography coverage. But 1) the upgrade was very expensive, and 2) we weren't very impressed with the sample photos that the resort had. They looked awkwardly posed (think: your senior prom pictures), minimally edited, all the same locations (on the beach... don't get me wrong, the beach is beautiful, but it somehow looked cliché in these photographs that the resort had)... frankly, we thought we could take the same quality of photos with our iPhones and save several thousands of dollars.
At first, we were on the fence about hiring a photographer from off-resort. The resort charged a substantial fee to bring in offsite vendors, which we figured would price us out of any photographer we found offsite. We also assumed an offsite professional photographer would be just as expensive, if not even more expensive, than the resort photographer. And, realistically, we were nervous about making a decision like that all through the internet – not really knowing if this is a real photography company, reputable… or if we’re just going to be sending money through PayPal and be left without any photographer at all on our special day. And bringing a photographer down from the US was way out of our budget. So when I started browsing the internet for possible photographers in the DR, I wasn’t feeling very confident.
Then I stumbled upon Punta Cana Photographer – I think on Facebook – and I literally gasped. Such stunning, artistic photographs! Not those overly-artsy ones that take away from the intimacy of your special day, but definitely not your awkwardly-posed, sick-of-smiling-for-the-camera photos, either. Gaston’s style exemplifies and enhances the feeling of the day through imagery. He’s especially great at working with the light (look at some sample photos and you’ll see what I mean). I was overjoyed to show my then-fiancée some sample photos… his response: “How much?” We figured we would need 6 hours of photography if we wanted to capture everything from getting ready to cake-cutting. I was bracing myself for disappointment as we looked up the prices… but then, overjoyed and shocked! A 6-hour photography package from Punta Cana Photographer (with far better photos) was actually $1,700 LESS than a 6-hour photography package from the resort. We couldn’t believe it! It made the offsite vendor fee totally worth it – we still saved money by choosing Punta Cana Photographer!
So, I started emailing back and forth with Gaston and Cami to get a better feel for them. We sent maybe a dozen emails back and forth before booking them – discussing styles, preferences, “the story of us,” etc. etc. It felt like talking to real people – friends, even! I can’t imagine how difficult it must be to run a business like that where you need to earn peoples trust through nothing but email, but they certainly have a gift for it! We signed on without any reservations. And even after making the first payment, we were getting regular emails from Gaston and Cami. They were punctual, organized, and professional throughout the entire process. Towards the end, I’ll admit, my wedding jitters were starting to get the best of me, and I was worried about making sure we captured every moment and every person. Gaston offered me reassurance and, to calm my nerves, was willing to work with my list of must-have moments (even though, really – you should never send a photographer a list. They are professionals! They’ve got this!).
On the day of our wedding, when we finally met Gaston… we were blown away. We could tell that he was quickly learning our personalities, our relationship styles with each other and with our friends and family, and I could see him making adjustments to capture us in the moments when we were truly being “us.” My husband and I really aren’t the model-for-the-camera types, so we weren’t exactly in our comfort zone. But Gaston helped direct us into some casual poses that felt comfortable and natural, which is the look we were hoping for. He had laser-focused attention to detail – fixing strands of hair, “turn your head slightly,” relax your hand here, etc. We chose an EXCEPTIONALLY hot Dominican day for our wedding… but Gaston was very cognizant of this and was diligent in finding us shady spots for photographs – our comfort was his first concern. There were times when it even felt like he was giving us a guided meditation – I think maybe to capture certain emotions in our faces? He found us a shady spot after the ceremony and all the group shots were done, and the afternoon was winding down just before the night was about to ramp-up. He told us to rest our foreheads against one another, close our eyes, and just reflect on the day, take it all in. Those turned out to be some of my favorite photos – not just because they look great, but because they bring back the memory of that one relaxed moment of the day where my husband and I were tucked away alone in a shady spot and time stood still. Gaston truly ENHANCED the experience of our wedding day.
Both my husband and I – and even our guests! – could tell even as Gaston was still taking photos that he was bottling up the essence of the day, as well as doing some really creative stuff with both lighting and the scenery. Our gusts asked us repeatedly when we’ll get to see the photos he took. It was just under 30 days until we were able to see the finished product. A simple email link contained over 600 photos of the day, and my husband and I had promised each other we wouldn’t look at them until we could do it together. Of course it would be our luck that it was sent at about 9:30 AM on a work day, so we each rushed home for an early lunch between work meetings so we could look together.
I’ll say this for brides-to-be: nobody warned me about the depression that comes after receiving your wedding photos. Of course that sounds terrible at first, and don’t get me wrong – the photos were phenomenal. We each have gone through all 600+ of them dozens of time now, and we are still struggling to narrow down our favorites – so many great ones to choose from! No, the depression wasn’t at all from the photos. We had spent over 2 years planning every detail of our perfect destination wedding together – it was our every waking moment for over 700 days straight… and then we spent 10 days in complete euphoria surrounded by our closest friends and family, having the time of our lives… we were depressed of course when we came home because it was all over with. But for the next few weeks, we still had one more piece of our wedding to look forward to, one thing that we still had not experienced yet: getting the photos back. Once we had been through them about 4 times each, we suddenly realized: that’s it. That is TRULY the end of our wedding experience. That was the very last piece of it.
I’m so thankful that I can go back to those photos and re-live the day, moment-by-moment. We are thrilled with the finished product, and were even more impressed by the overall experience. I cannot recommend Punta Cana Photography highly enough! When we go back – and we will go back – we fully intend on utilizing their services again for an anniversary photo shoot in the future.

Gaston was amazing. Not only was he flexible with our requests during our time with him but he was mindful of the changing weather. He was also very mindful of and swift with the time we had not only at our wedding but also at the trash the dress shoot we did with him. We did not in anyway feel rushed but knew he was keeping things on a timeline so we could get our reception going. By the beginning of the ceremony he had remembered everyones names and relations and was calling everyone by name during our family and group photos. He was professional, personable and a joy to work with. His eye for detail and locations was amazing. To top it all off he had our photos to us 2 weeks after our wedding. Planning a destination wedding in a different country is definitely nerve wracking. The villa where we were staying and having our wedding recommended Punta Cana Photographers and when I check out their websites, along with a few others, it was a no brainer. I loved the light and brightness of all the photos and they weren’t heavily filtered. Whether it was Camille or Gaston who responded to my emails, it was always super fast. Never had to wait longer than a day for a response. Loved the helpful blog posts sent along the way as well. The day of, the guys were running behind (surprise!) but Gaston continued to snap beautiful photos in the mean time. Working with the wind was not something I had anticipated but obviously something Gaston was used to. He knew all the tricks and I couldn’t believe how well all the pictures turned out because it was sooo windy! He was also very respectful of any of us girls needed a wardrobe adjustment (bridal robes blowing everywhere). Never once felt uncomfortable. Perfect wedding pictures
Photography was really important to me, I wanted someone who could really capture our day exactly how I pictured in my head. I spent hours going through various photographers websites and profiles. I was recommended Punta Cana Photographer by our venue and I knew within seconds of looking at their gallery and Instagram that they were who I needed to capture our day. From the second I sent my deposit they kept in contact with me right to my wedding. They sent me a timeline of the day and did all the work. The minute I met Gaston I knew I made the right choice. He was so sweet and funny and everybody commented all day on his professionalism, and his sincerity with his photography. I don't even know where to begin!! Our wedding photos turned out absolutely incredible. Cami and Gaston were so prompt to answer all of my questions during the planning stage. Gaston showed up early the day of the wedding and caught some photos of myself and bridesmaids getting our hair and makeup done at the salon. Meeting him I felt like I already knew him! He made everything feel so natural!
Gaston helped with things a photographer usually wouldn’t. He put the guys boutonnieres on for them as well as helped my girls do up my dress. He was quick and able to capture every moment and every emotion throughout the day.
Gaston was able to make our kids feel so comfortable as well! Our kids, like most, hate their photos being taken. But that was not the case with Gaston. They loved him and had fun!
Gaston took very detailed photos of very important touches, such as my moms ashes on mine and my sisters bouquets and my brother boutonniere. Which is very important to us!
Gaston ran around to make sure he captured everything. He was a one man show but totally made you feel like there were two of him haha. He has such an incredible talent for photography! In the angles, the lighting, the settings, everything was beyond PERFECT!! The editing is fantastic too!!
We are beyond happy with his work and the photos!! We wouldn’t have asked for anything else! By far the best photographer ever!!

Everyone that has seen the photos and videos say that they have never seen a wedding so well captured and they feel like they were there with us that day. Cami and Bel truly went above and beyond and helped make everything run smooth. Even though we just met the day of our wedding, it felt like we had known Gaston forever! He made us & every one of our guests at ease. He told us some tips for posing & caught SO many moments from our special day that will last forever! He never stopped moving! Our family and friends are still talking about our fabulous photographer one month after. Would recommend Punta Cana Photographer to anyone getting married in the Dominican Republic!

Megan Sent on 03/22/2018We cannot say enough good things about Gaston and Cami! When we first knew we were getting married abroad, we assumed finding a great photographer would be difficult. Our resort lead us to Punta Cana Photography and we were instantly amazed at their portfolio, comparable price, and responsiveness. Gaston was our photographer for the day and was amazing. When our bridal party asked if he was the only one, his response was "Yup! You don't need anyone else" and he was right! He was absolutely amazing! He kept track of the time, got us where we needed to be, kept track of our bridal party and families, and still captured every moment. We also had a trash the dress with him the next day and he was so flexible! We didn't know what time we wanted to go, we didn't know where we wanted to go...just clueless. Gaston picked us up and took us out to a secluded beach that was absolutely gorgeous! I could go on forever about Gaston and his skill, but I'll just post pictures so you can see for yourself.
We had a reception back home, and as promised he got us a slideshow a couple of days before so that we could show it to everyone. He also got all of the photos to us in time for the reception and we were able to share any favorites that weren't in the slideshow. Everyone is completely in awe of them! -

I am one that hates having pictures taken and in moments when the spotlight is on me I tend to get nervous and uncomfortable, but Gaston made sure that I was relaxed and he was patient. He really captured all of the beauty and details of the wedding.

We found Punta Cana photographer about 9 months before our big day they were incredibly responsive and answered any questions or queries we had immediately putting our minds at ease. We were in no doubt on the day that the pictures would look great as we had seen lots of his work previously and they are a cut above all others.
