Officiant / Day of coordinator
Working with Pam is great. Spoke to her mainly via email and zoom meetings. She helped me put together the vows and incorportated my idea to do a special family vow with kids. The ceremony is short, centimental, and simple. I am also thankful that Pam is able to flex as a day of coordinator to help me with minor details that needed to be done before guest arrives. helped me out tremendously on the day of and help me tie up loose ends to bring it all together. Thanks for being apart of my dream team. -

We were so happy with our decision to book with Pam to officiate our wedding. Pam was super available and insightful throughout the planning, and ultimately made our ceremony so much more intimate and meaningful. We also really loved how happily open and flexible she was with our non-traditional ceremony plans, while helping us work through a lot of the little logistics. We absolutely recommend Pam’s services for any kind of wedding! -

The Best Officiant!
The best officiant! Pamela is very professional, friendly, and accomadating. She created a beautiful custom ceremony for us that had our guests in (happy) tears. She answered all our questions, filed our marriage license for us, and was overall a pleasure to work with. We could not recommend her enough! -

Elopement Wedding
We used PS I Love You Ceremonies for ur elopement wedding and loved it. We had a small ceremony and Pam helped plan every last detail with me and helped with what we need to do after the wedding. Emails were answered fast and efficiently! -

Not a dry eye in the house!
Highly recommend! Pam was so accommodating as we ended up making edits up to two days before the ceremony! She was very kind and I loved how our ceremony went, it was the perfect blend of faith and customization. The custom vows helped but there wasn’t a dry eye in the house during our ceremony! -

Personable and Professional!
Pam was terrific to work with from start to finish! She was so professional, organized, experience, and attentive.
We had an initial Zoom call and a meeting in person to make sure she knew what we wanted in our ceremony. We didn't have much of an idea of how to craft our ceremony, but Pam provided helpful guidance while still giving us room to make the ceremony unique and our own.
Pam also has a wonderful attention to detail and clearly has so much experience that helped make our wedding day run smoothly. Pam was punctual, communicative, and professional. Not to mention, Pam is also a super kind and friendly person, so it was great to work with her. I would highly recommend PS I Love You Ceremonies for your wedding! -

Easy to Work With
We booked Pam (PS I love you ceremonies) for our wedding at the Roostertail on 9/23/2023. She was wonderful and so easy to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process. She makes everything really simple and straightforward by providing a bunch of examples on how you can put together your ceremony and make it unique. She is always available and prompt to respond to any questions you have. I received some compliments from our guests about our ceremony with Pam. After the ceremony, she even returns your marriage license paperwork for you. I highly recommend her for an officiant! -

The best officiant!!
My husband and I are so happy that we booked Pam to be our officiant! She is so helpful and fun to work with. She has helpful ceremony templates and allowed us to customize the ceremony as much as we wanted. She is also so professional and made us feel really relaxed and comfortable the day of - she came to our rehearsal, brought a backup mic just in case, knew all about the marriage license process etc. Thank you so much for being a part of our special day Pam! -

Pam was very professional, kind, and attentive to our needs. When our venue cancelled our late-March 2020 wedding, Pam was quick to suggest other options to get us married as planned. While the wedding didn't happen then, she was able to work with us when we had our microwedding in January 2021 with no hiccups. Although our wedding wasn't religious, she came with multiple options for secular and religious couples in terms of readings, and her price was pretty reasonable. We recommend Pam Swider/PS I Love You for any couples looking to get married in metro Detroit.

Pandemic Wedding
I can not thank Pan enough for her wonderful, last minute service she was able to provide! My (now) hubby and I were all set to have our wedding on April 4 2020 but due to the pandemic and restrictions, the ceremony was postponed. We wanted to see get married and Pam was very flexible and had a beautiful set up for a simple ceremony in her back yard! Everything was efficient and perfect for our Pandemic Elopement. Pam was fantastic! After our original plan for an officiant fell through (our friend couldn't travel due to covid), we booked Pam with relatively short notice. She was flexible with her time and with the package she offered. Meeting her over Zoom beforehand was a great way to make us feel more comfortable and make sure we were all on the same page. The script she customized for our ceremony was so special and able to be tailored to our own relationship. She also takes covid precautions very seriously, which was important to us! I would recommend Pam to anyone planning a small wedding in this time where it can feel challenging to seek out joy. Well worth the (very reasonable) price! -

Super amazing officiant
Pam was beyond excellent and perfect as the officiant for our wedding. She was super accommodative and very communicative; she let us know of all the procedures way ahead of time and did her part in a very organized manner. She was always super approachable for any concerns we had, even if they were not related to her part. She not only helped us get exactly what we wanted but also guided us in ways we did not even know we needed to make our day super special and great. She was very punctual and made sure things went very smoothly on the day of ceremony. Even later on; she provided post-ceremony services like ensuring our marriage certificates were mailed to the county and answered her questions at great length and very compassionately. She is a super sweet person and very easy to work with!!! Not only did we love our experience with her but even our guests were all praises for her. -

Pam was awesome! We originally hired Pam for our December 2020 wedding, but once COVID-19 hit our plans moved up to September. Pam was so flexible throughout the entire process and was so helpful! We didn’t actually meet Pam until the day of our ceremony but communication was still very thorough. Pam was wonderful during the ceremony and we received many compliments on how it went. The perfect officiant for any wedding
We found Pamela while searching on Wedding Wire and from the first correspondence she was great. She makes you feel very comfortable right from the start and let's you set the ceremony however you want so that it is personal for each couple. If you need guidance, she has ideas as well. For our reading, I used one of her templates and swapped out the actual vows with another example she had that were perfect for our wedding. We had a rainy outside rehearsal and eventhough it wasn't ideal she worked with our coordinator to make sure we were prepared on the day of. Pam was our officiant for our wedding this past August. She was amazing from the very beginning, she made sure everything was convienent for us, answered any questions we had in a timely fashion and made sure everything was what we wanted it to be. She was extremely helpful and always stayed in contact with us. She had so many different examples of her ceremonies that we were able to pick and choose to make ours exactly how we wanted it to be. Will definitely recommend her to everyone that I know that’s getting married! -

Great experience
Pam was our wedding coordinator for our June 2018 wedding. We met twice and she took the worries off our shoulders. She offered advice on what weddings looked like these days and stepped in as far as telling people where to go and when, even thought we had another officiant. She followed up appropriately and was always an email away and very prompt. We are so thankful to have had her as our coordinator and HIGHLY RECOMMEND! -

Pam (and Tom) are amazing!!!! I can honestly say that I couldn't imagine our wedding without them. Pam was incredibly organized, sweet, thoughtful, and on top of everything. I met with her in person to learn more about her "style" and see if it was a match and I am so happy that I did - she's down to earth but on top of things - the perfect combination for wedding planning! I was able to work with her to create a wedding that was completely custom for us, thoughtful, and perfect in every way. She gave us all the information on the nitty-gritty like how to apply for a marriage license, and also took care of submitting it for us after the wedding which was really helpful. On top of all of that, our wedding was sort of a destination, and Pam was sweet enough to rent a cabin nearby so that she could attend and manage the rehearsal dinner, knowing that it would put me at ease. She also helped me figure out a innovative solution to a tricky isle, kept me sane the day of, and printed our vows for us so we didn't have to worry about it, and so that we could have them for keepsakes - they're hanging in a frame on our wall! I can't say enough kind things about Pam and how awesome she is as both a wedding officiant and person. -

Pam was amazing! She met us over Skype, talked a bunch via email, then met us in person prior to our day. She knows what she's doing, and she does an excellent job with everything. We even threw a few curve-balls at her, and she handled them very well! On the wedding day she made sure everything was smooth, and coordinated between a few vendors and key friends and family. Pam is incredible! My husband and I had to move to Florida for 6 weeks leading up to our wedding (we moved home the day before wedding!) and thanks to Pam everything went smoothly! She met with us before we moved and maintained regular contact via email to ensure everything was exactly how I dreamed it would be! She gave me multiple sample ceremonies and worked with me to create a personalized ceremony for our wedding. We were unable to have a rehearsal ceremony because we literally moved home the day before we got married. Pam was absolutely incredible, from the start she made my husband and I feel comfortable and helped us figure out how to create the ceremony that we wanted to have. We met the first time in a coffee shop, chatted and got to know each other we knew after that chat we didn't need to look anymore; we found the person who was going to marry us. She was great about giving us time and checking in on us here and there (our first meeting was in October 2015 and we were married in June 2016).
After we met and committed to a contract she gave us a few sample ceremony plans which we were able to customize. It was important for us to have a completely secular ceremony, but still still have meaning. She helped us find readings and even read the Supreme Court reading on marriage equality because it was important to us.
Pam was able to help us control our wedding party and run a smooth rehearsal, and by the end of that day we felt relaxed and at ease going into the wedding the next day. We had an incredible ceremony and Pam was a large part of that. -

If you're looking for an officiant, pick Pam!! You won't be disappointed. I cannot say enough good things about her. From the initial meetings all the way until the day of the event, you could tell her loved her job. Working with her felt like working with a close friend who knew us way before this event. She married us in May 2016 and I received so many compliments on the ceremony. We were able to work with her to customize it for what we were looking for, and she was even able to offer me advice to help us create a very personal ceremony that fit what we envisioned. Plus, she is super responsive and has a wealth of knowledge due to her experience in the field. Her calm demeanor was helpful in this high stress time, as well. We are so happy we had the pleasure of meeting and working with Pam. -

She came with some great ideas for the ceremony as we were unique since our baby came before marriage :) I was afraid that we wouldn't have a personable ceremony since we didn't know Pam until we hired her. All the non-church weddings I've been to had officiants that were either friends or family of the bride/groom. Well, my fear did NOT come true because she really added stuff to our ceremony to make it extremely personable - it's probably because Pam is very nice, friendly, and warm. Pam and her husband were the perfect fit for our wedding! We didn't want anything too custom (we aren't the write your own vows type of people) and Pam had great ceremony examples to choose from. We built our ceremony by picking and choosing what we liked from each of her examples. It was quick and easy! We wanted a simple, non-denominational ceremony and that’s what we got! Our ceremony was at a park (on an island) that had no access to electricity. Pam’s services came with two microphones (one for her and one for our wedding party doing the ceremony readings) and a battery operated bluetooth speaker that we used for our ceremony music. She also provided a stand for the readings and printed the readings in large print font. What she provided was extremely helpful! Without it I do not know what we would have done! Her husband coordinated the wedding party during the ceremony and also played the music. Again, I do not know what we would have done without that because I was running around like a crazy person! I was so busy before the ceremony that I forgot to start the music that I had downloaded to play while guests arrive, but Pam and her husband jumped right in and played music that they had. So awesome! Pam was also extremely responsive. She almost always responded to my emails the same day. She was the only one of my wedding vendors that I didn’t have to wait days for! You will not be disappointed with Pam!! -

I was really worried going into the planning process as I knew I couldn't meet any of my vendors before hand as I was planning from overseas, but from the first time I contacted Pam she was helpful, super quick with her responses and always ready to offer advice. We did everything over email until the day before the wedding when we met for the rehearsal and I was so happy with how it all went.
I had some pretty specific requests as I wanted to incorporate the British wording for the ceremony, and Pam was brilliant, re-writing the ceremony to use all the specific wording I wanted to use.

Wow. Wow. Wow. Where do I start? Pam was just outstanding from day one. When I first contacted Pam to be my officiant, I did not know what to expect, but any expectations I had were blown out of the water.
I hired Pam to be both my officiant and day of coordinator. I had a very DIY wedding and having Pam to help coordinate the day of helped relieve stress for me and my entire family. Pam ensured the venue was set up properly. She also helped make sure the chairs for my outdoor wedding were set up properly. Her husband, Tom, also helped out with the day of coordinating process. Between the two of them, I had nothing to worry about, which trust me, on your special day, you do not want to be thinking about how tables and chairs are getting set up!!! Pam's husband also stayed at the venue during the ceremony to greet more vendors and make sure they set everything up right. They were a perfect duo.
The officiant process was outstanding. Pam has multiple samples for the ceremony and helps a lot with direction. I was basically clueless and she helped me figure out what was best for me. I enjoyed the ceremony, it was brief, but perfect.
Prior to the wedding, Pam helped me so much with figuring out all the details and just for venting. Pam was there to lend an ear when I needed it. And she was also helpful in referring me to affordable vendors. She also helped me think of things I did not think of--such as a kids table (huge hit!)
If anyone is doubting whether to hire Pam, stop doubting and do it already!! You won't regret it. -

She did a wonderful job in the amount of time that was available. We had a very small wedding, but she was very flexible by emailing and calling us on the phone to make sure we were all on the same page and were satisfied. She was also able to be very creative and pull it together for us by adding some things to our vows to make sure it was complete and sounded good. She also came early on the day to make sure things were complete and to review everything. -

She came and organized our rehearsal, as well as attended our rehearsal dinner. We had 2 face to face meetings, and she emailed everything we needed. She guided us right through everything, very easy! Pam is great! -

Pam was a wonderful choice to officiate our wedding! She was very helpful and informative about how to write the ceremony and was totally open to anything we wanted to include. She gave us tons of examples of ceremonies and readings and let us piece together our own ceremony just the way we wanted it. It was especially helpful that she attended the rehearsal the night before the wedding - we wouldn't have known how to organize everyone ourselves! We really appreciated her laid back and friendly attitude, especially when the power went out (for the whole weekend!) at our venue and we had to make a lot of last minute changes. We would definitely recommend Pam as an officiant for any wedding! -

Pam really helped to make our day and marriage complete! We couldn't have imagined our ceremony any differently and went just how we would of wanted it. The Blessing of The Hands is still particularly touching to us both and we are grateful that she could help us customize our dinner blessing for our first meal as husband and wife.

Pam is someone who truly love what she does. Right from the start we knew that we had made the right decision when we asked Pam to officiate our wedding. Pam was enthusiastic a great listener and absolutely wonderful. It was a very moving experience for the both of us!! I can't recommend Pam highly enough. -

Pam was incredible as our officiant. We wanted to do a tree ceremony and no other officiant even knew what i was talking about. Then I found Pam and noticed on her website that she knew of this ceremony. I'm so glad we found her! She helped out in so many ways. She came to our venue with me when I had to speak with my day of coordinator and helped me see things from her perspective and experience as well. She was very easy to talk to, had a great sense of humor. Very organized and replied to all of my emails quickly. She even made herself available when she was on vacation which we appreciated SO MUCH! I would highly recommend her. We did not use her day of services, but from what help she gave me as an officiant, I would also consider using her for those services as well. -

Rev. Pamela Jean Swider was by far the Best Officiant you could have..... She did our Wedding in the Park on Friday, July 12, 2014 and she did an exceptional job. It was so beautiful, what a wonderful and amazing soul she is :) I would recommend her every time :) And I would also recommend the Cords of Love, it was something different then the Unity Candle but so unique, it was so special and we had the most amazing day !!! Pam is absolutely awesome. She is always eager to help and she's very flexible with meetings. She goes above and beyond standards to make sure everything runs smoothly. She's open to different ideas and I'd say definitely pro unique. Exactly what I was hoping to find in an officiant. I even hired her to help with day of coordination for my wedding. Someone to be there for other vendors when I couldn't be. She gave me piece of mind. -

Reverend Pam did a fantastic job officiating our intimate wedding ceremony on March 8, 2014. I literally contacted her 2 weeks before our wedding day to request her services. She was very friendly, kind, professional, and attentive. Most importantly, even with such short notice, she was able to accommodate us. She is very flexible in terms of the types of ceremonies she offers, and truly worked with us to develop a ceremony that suited our needs and reflected who we are. The ceremony turned out beautifully thanks to Reverend Pam, and I would highly recommend the use of her services!

Thanks to Rev Swider our service was exactly the way we pictured it. It was religious ceremony with personal touches that made it feel all our own.
We really appreciated all the preparation before the ceremony that made everything come together seamlessly. Example: My husband and I were both nervous about writing our vows. Neither wanted to be too long or repetitive. Reverend Swider had us do a rough draft and she reviewed them. She made sure there were about the same length and were easily read during the ceremony.
We were so pleased with the services she provided before and the day of the wedding. The price was excellent for the amount of work and how responsive Rev Swider was to our calls and emails. We really appreciate her help in making our day so special and highly recommend PS I Love You Ceremonies. -

Pamela officiated our wedding in July. We found her via wedding wire and did a skype session to get to know her. We were happy to hire her based on her experience, her gear (she supplied her own mic - we were grateful), and her stance on love, relationships, and marriage. Pam was super easy to work with, gave us some great examples, and was totally happy to let us write our entire ceremony. People who attended the wedding thought she was fantastic and we agree! -

She provides a packet of information with sample readings, vows, and ceremony ideas that made putting together the ceremony much easier, and we were able to personalize what we wanted. We got the idea of a salt ceremony from Pam which we hadn't seen at a wedding before and it turned out perfect. Pam was always quick to respond to any questions we had and she made sure our ceremony went off without a hitch! -

I had a non religious ceremony, she even help incorporate our three children. My ceremony was at Elizabeth Park in Trenton,MI on a holiday. She came with a smile and was very friendly.
