Amazing Venue

We got married in the Biltmore Ballroom at the Gradate in Providence last weekend and cannot recommend it enough! The staff is so incredibly accommodating and supportive, and Elise is truly a pro at wedding planning/coordinating. She was responsive and helpful over the last year of planning, and we felt so supported along the way. We planned our wedding at the same time that we purchased our first home, and we chose the graduate because they handle so much of the planning, and make it all so easy.
The whole weekend of our wedding was so smooth and calm because of Elise and her staff, we were able to truly sit back and just enjoy the day without worrying about a thing. A week later, we are still receiving compliments on how beautiful the venue was, and how much everyone loved the food. We also cannot get over the photos we took at the hotel! Cannot recommend enough!

Gorgeous, Easy, and PERFECT!

When we first toured the Graduate Providence we knew we wanted to get married there based on the beauty and aesthetics alone, not knowing everything else would be just as incredible! Elise is such a calming, professional presence. She is attentive, responsive, and handles everything with the utmost care. She was fantastic to work with.

Not only was Elise a top tier professional, but the entire hotel staff was kind, welcoming, and accommodating all weekend – from the front desk representatives, to housekeeping, to lobby security. Haley was phenomenal onsite and took away all the step up and breakdown stress that we would’ve otherwise had to deal with.

We have attended many hotel weddings where the food is subpar – not the case here! We felt (and heard from others!) that it was the best wedding food we’ve ever tasted. Cocktail hour appetizers were particularly amazing.

The beauty of the hotel speaks for itself! It was the perfect setting for the moody, vintage, winter wedding we had always wanted. The bridal suite was gorgeous and spacious as well.

As a professional event manager and someone who has interacted with several weddings, the Graduate Providence was so easy to work with. With a large volume of out of town guests, we loved having everything in one place. (The Blizzard of ‘26 took place the day after and our guests were relieved to have the cafe and restaurant as saving graces as well!)

We couldn’t be happier with the Graduate Providence.

A Providence wedding day dream come true!

From the moment we stepped into The Graduate Providence for our venue tour, we were awestruck by the beauty of the space. The colors, the ambience, and the ornate decor were exactly the aesthetic we were envisioning for our wedding. We felt immediately certain that we had found our venue.

The deal was further sealed when we met Elise, the venue coordinator. She is the embodiment of the type of professionalism, enthusiasm, and wisdom you hope for in a wedding venue coordinator. She patiently answered every question we had, responded to every email promptly, and made us feel extremely at ease about our big day with the level of attention and respect she paid to our ideas. She took the time to understand exactly what we had planned and executed it flawlessly. She truly was a decisive factor in our booking The Graduate Providence.

The Graduate Providence itself is an absolutely extraordinary location. We had our ceremony on the Parkview Terrace, our cocktail hour on the Atrium Balcony, and our reception in the Capital Ballroom. We loved how convenient it was to have our wedding in one place (and how convenient it was for our vendors, many of whom had worked with the Graduate Providence before and were thrilled to do so again) and yet, every space within in felt so unique. We also loved being right in the heart of downtown Providence, with so many restaurants, shops, and iconic sights conveniently close by for our guests.

On top of that, every staff member with whom we interacted—from the front desk to the waitstaff—could not have been more delightful. They were so friendly and polite throughout the entire process. We had a pretty significant number of out-of-town guests, and all of them reported that they absolutely loved their stay at The Graduate, many thanks to the attentiveness and care of the staff.

We truly cannot speak highly enough or more fervently recommend The Graduate Providence for your wedding day. It honestly defined our entire wedding day in the best way. We are eternally grateful to Elise and the entire Graduate staff for all of the hard work, care, and enthusiasm they put into making our wedding day a dream come true.

An amazing wedding at the graduate!

Our wedding at **The Graduate** was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we stepped into the venue, we knew we were in the right hands. The atmosphere was stunning, the décor was beautiful, and every detail felt thoughtful and elevated. It truly set the perfect backdrop for one of the most important days of our lives.

The **food and drinks were exceptional**—our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was. Each dish was beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and served with impeccable timing. The cocktails were expertly crafted, and the bar service kept the energy high and the celebration flowing.

What truly set the experience apart, though, was the **unmatched level of service**. Every single staff member was warm, attentive, and professional. They anticipated needs before we even voiced them and made the entire day feel effortless.

Working with **Elise and her team** was an absolute dream. From the initial planning stages to the final moments of the reception, they made the entire process seamless, organized, and genuinely enjoyable. Elise’s communication, expertise, and calm confidence put us completely at ease. She took the time to understand our vision and then executed it flawlessly. Her team mirrored her dedication, making everything run smoothly and beautifully.

Our wedding day was everything we imagined and so much more, and The Graduate played a huge role in making that possible. We couldn’t recommend this venue—or Elise and her incredible team—more highly. It was truly a perfect experience from start to finish.

Incredible Wedding Venue

My Wife and I recently got married at the Graduate and could not recommend the venue enough. First and foremost Elise who is their event coordinator is absolutely incredible. She is extremely responsive to emails, organized, and flexible. We met with Elise multiple times leading up to the wedding and at each meeting she was extremely prepared and made us feel at ease. She was willing to accommodate any requests or ideas we had for the night. We used the ballroom on the 17th floor and it was stunning. The views are amazing and the room itself is grand. We had both our cocktail hour and reception dinner at the Hotel and all of the food was phenomenal. If you are looking for a wedding venue in Providence look no further!

Best wedding ever!

My daughter got married 10/11/2025 at the Graduate in Providence. Food was fantastic! The cocktail hour spread was amazing and better than the tasting! Ballroom was beautiful! Elise Shatraw who is in charge of the weddings was wonderful with planning and helping the wedding go smoothly! The day of the event she calmed everyone's nerves, and the wedding went perfectly and was beautiful!

Absolutely Awesome!

From the start Elise Shatraw managed every aspect of the event. She answered our questions before we got to ask them. Backup plans (mother nature) were necessary and were swiftly utilized. Not a hitch in the process. The Grand ballroom is a spectacular space to hold your reception. This place is dripping with class.

From the start, Elise made us feel completely supported. Every question was answered quickly and every detail handled with care. She made the planning process feel easy. We didn’t have to worry about a thing.

The venue itself is stunning – elegant, regal, historic, and full of city charm. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful everything looked.

We’re so grateful to Elise and the entire team, including Mackenzie and Michael, for helping us create such the most special and unforgettable day of our life. They are true professionals. The best in the business, honestly!

Highly recommend

My wedding was at the Graduate this past Saturday, and I cannot say enough amazing things. Elise and her team were top notch, they went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I had the best day ever. The ballroom itself is absolutely gorgeous, the food was 10/10, and the drinks were incredible. The bartenders were all super nice and the lines never got too long, especially with my 190 person wedding. The service was great as well. Truly every aspect of the day was perfect and just as I had visioned. I highly recommend having your wedding here, it truly was just everything and more! Thank you to Elise and her team for a day we will never forget!

Perfect in every way!

We recently celebrated our daughter’s wedding at The Graduate Providence, and it was truly an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The historic charm and elegance of the venue set the perfect tone for such a special occasion, but what truly made the day exceptional was the incredible staff, particularly Elise.
From our very first meeting, Elise stood out with her professionalism, warmth, and meticulous attention to detail. She was incredibly well organized, always one step ahead, and made sure every element of the day ran smoothly. Whether it was coordinating vendors, adjusting timelines, or accommodating last-minute requests, Elise handled everything with such grace and confidence that we felt completely at ease. It’s rare to find someone who can manage both the big picture and the smallest of details so flawlessly and she truly made the experience perfect.
The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and received countless compliments from our guests. The accommodations were equally impressive, they were stylish, comfortable, and reflective of the hotel’s unique personality. Every member of the staff, from the front desk to the servers, went above and beyond to provide excellent service with a smile.
We couldn’t have asked for a better setting or a better team to help bring our daughter’s wedding vision to life. The Graduate Providence gave us memories we will cherish forever, and we’re so grateful for the role Elise and the entire staff played in making it all happen.

Wonderful wedding at The Graduate

We worked with Elise for 9 months to plan the perfect wedding. She did not disappoint. Elise is very professional and responsive. She replies to e-mails and phone calls quickly. She has been working as a wedding planner for years and she was very helpful in making suggestions. We were married at a church at 2pm and Elise greeted us when we arrived at The Graduate at approximately 3:30. She helped facilitate the photos in the lobby, she made sure cocktail hour was running smoothly and assisted with the reception entrances.

The cocktail hour began at 4:30 and the reception was at 5:30 for 5 hours in the ballroom on the 17th floor. There was plenty of room in the cocktail lounge for all of our guests. The views overlooking the City of Providence are beautiful. Lots of windows and natural light. The ballroom is spacious with high ceilings and had a large dance floor. There was plenty of room for the band and all the seating for our guests.

The food was very good but we especially liked the late night snack that was included in our package. The servers were attentive and the bartenders were quick with serving drinks. No long lines at the bar.

The one "issue" was the valet that we hired for the evening. The valet service is not included in the package plan for the wedding. The Graduate gave us a suggested valet vendor which we decided to hire and we paid an additional fee for the service. Guests using the valet service waited a very long time in line to drop off their cars. I recommend skipping the valet and using the self parking option in the parking garage behind The Graduate.

We received many compliments about the beautiful wedding and we highly recommend The Graduate for your wedding.

WOW! Absolute Perfection From Start to Finish

Absolutely perfect! We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue. From start to finish, everything ran smoothly and beautifully. The staff were truly amazing – professional, kind, and incredibly attentive to every detail. They made the entire day stress-free and special for us and our guests. Everything was just perfect, and we honestly couldn’t recommend this venue more!

Elise was an amazing person to work with. With her years of experience, she was able to give advice and guidance when needed. She always responded promptly and was a huge help with coordinating out wedding. I could not recommend having someone like Elise on your side for your wedding day. She is absolutely amazing!

I also wanted to speak on Michael, who was our day of coordinator. He was so well versed in all aspects of the day and was able to have everything run smoothly with no hiccups. If something went wrong, we had no idea. Micheal was able to make our day so seamless and special.

The entire staff at The Graduate Hotel will provide you and your guests with the best experience possible. All of our guests have nothing but amazing things to say. Every staff member was extremely attentive, helpful, and genuinely happy to be celebrating out day with us.

We cannot recommend the Graduate Hotel more! Between the venue, staff, food, Elise, and Micheal, you will not be disappointed and in the best hands out there!

Highly Recommend

We had our daughter’s wedding at The Graduate in Providence RI in October 2024. From the moment we booked with Elise, the wedding coordinator, to the evening of the wedding all emails and questions were answered in a prompt professional manner.

I have very high standards and all my expectations were met. The bridal suite where we got ready was spacious and beautiful. Before the ceremony we took some amazing pictures on the terrace which overlooks the city. Guests at cocktail hour commented that there were plenty of hors d'oeuvres passed and bartenders were exceptionally quick. The reception was in the Biltmore Ballroom which is absolutely gorgeous. The high ceilings, chandeliers and velvet drapery enhanced the room's elegance. The food was delicious, the wait staff professional and when Elise said food service will be done at 8:00 (158 guests) she was right! 7:58 exactly. The guests were wowed when the lights got dim and the wait staff came out together with the flaming Flambe for dessert. We had plenty of time for dancing and socializing. Chinese food as a late night snack was a hit too. Everything was perfect and couldn’t be happier with the service and expertise of staff. I would highly recommend it. First class all the way. Guests kept commenting how beautiful it was to be on the top floor and how grand the room was. It was exactly what I wanted for our daughter’s wedding.

Also- how convenient it was to have our after party at Reiner's without leaving the building- again- all expectations were met. Service and food were great. Guests had fun playing pool, Jenga and the golf simulator. The next morning we hosted a breakfast at Poindexter's Coffee shop- again very convenient and wonderful service.

Special, safe, and seen!

It was so easy to work with the Graduate. Elise was kind, communicative, and professional. She had everything we needed to know available to us from our very first meeting and she answered every question we had - and every email we sent after. Once we booked, she kept an open line of contact that made planning a breeze. The best was the Wedding Prelude event that The Graduate invites every couple to, where we were able to sample all the food, meet different vendors, and be in the main ballroom space. It was so lovely! I felt so seen and heard by Elise and later by Lauren the banquet manager, and as a bride who planned and did all the decor myself, that made all the difference. We even had to change our date after we originally booked, and doing so was no stress! Getting married here was the best decision we made and I will cherish it forever.

The absolute BEST

The Graduate is a well oiled wedding machine - they will take care of everything and make sure the night will be as seamless as possible. Elise was amazing throughout the planning process and the day of. Feel so lucky to have gotten to benefit from her expertise and many years of experience. A Perfect 10!

Elise and the Graduate exceeded every expectation we had! The coordination, communication, attention to detail and execution were suburb from the first time we stepped on the premises over a year before the wedding right through the brunch the morning after.

The venue Is gorgeous and speaks for itself however I was in awe when I stepped into the ballroom to see it all trimmed out with flowers, place settings, decorations etc. - it was something out of a movie!

Dinner was timed perfectly and little things like ladling the soup right at the table were a great touch. The staff is so professional and after speaking with several of them, I learned most have been there for many years.

Our guests could not stop raving about the wedding, it was a 10 out of 10!

Exceptional!

We recently held our daughter’s wedding at the Graduate Hotel Providence, and we can’t speak highly enough about the experience from start to finish. As soon as you walk in the lobby, you will see that this is a special place.

The highlight was undoubtedly the beautiful ballroom, which was elegant and created a magical atmosphere for our celebration. It was the perfect backdrop for such a special occasion. Guests are still talking about the wedding and praising the entire weekend.

One of the greatest advantages of hosting your wedding at The Graduate Hotel Providence is the convenience of having everything in one location. We kicked off the celebrations with a Friday night gathering at Reiners, the lobby bar. The next day, followed by church, was the stunning cocktail party overlooking the city of Providence, on the 18th floor. The food was abundant and service was exceptional! (I am still thinking about the lamb chops!) Afterward, we enjoyed my daughter‘s wedding reception in the Biltmore ballroom. I cannot say enough about the professionalism of the staff and quality of the food. The entire wedding ran so smoothly and our guests were quite impressed! Numerous friends and family members went out of their way to tell me it was the best wedding they had ever attended!
Topping off the amazing dinner, was a flambé dessert presentation which was not only classy and entertaining, but the dessert was absolutely delicious!
After the reception, we hosted a private after party in Reiners Bar. The staff, service, and food were all excellent. Then, the next morning, we had a delightful send-off breakfast with plenty of food and a lovely touch: the wedding cake.

A special shoutout to Elise, the Graduate wedding professional, who was exceptional. Her attention to detail and calm demeanor made the planning process seamless. She was always available to answer questions and provided invaluable support, making the my daughter and me feel truly cared for throughout the entire wedding planning process. Here is one of the many examples of above-and-beyond customer service:
Our family loves a good old-fashioned, so we requested permission from the hotel to bring our own square ice cubes and Italian cherries. Elise didn't hesitate; she approved our request and went above and beyond by ensuring the ice and cherries were served at the cocktail party in special old-fashioned glasses.

We were also lucky to have Lauren as our banquet manager for the evening. She was so patient and kind, and she ensured that everything ran smoothly from start to finish, even taking care to fold the napkins exactly as we wanted. She ensured we could enjoy the night without having to manage any of the details ourselves.

Overall, the combination of excellent service, a stunning venue, and the dedication of staff like Elise made for an unforgettable experience. As a very picky mother-of-the-bride, I highly recommend the Graduate Hotel Providence for any special occasion!

The dream wedding!

From start to finish it was an absolute pleasure working with Elise and her team at The Graduate. What initially enticed my wife and I to have our wedding there was the beauty of the ballroom. It’s absolutely stunning to say the least. Over the 14 months that we planned our wedding, Elise made everything extremely easy for us. She is very detailed oriented and she goes above and beyond to help. The food was AMAZING and the wait staff were extremely professional and responsive. I cannot stress enough how wonderful of an experience we had. My wife and I are so thankful for Elise and the entire Graduate staff. Their hospitality and professionalism is second to none! A+++

Nothing but great things to say about my wedding at the Graduate

I held my wedding this summer in the Biltmore room with roughly 200 guests, most being out of towners and I have nothing but great things to see about Elise and team! They were always extremely responsive and flexible. Along with how seamless the day was for all of my out of town guests given everything was done onsite. Even the booking team was a huge help in ensuring we could have families and bridesmaids on the same floors.

Beautiful venue for a beautiful day!

We got married in June 2024 at the Graduate and it was truly spectacular! We had our ceremony outside on the third floor terrace and our reception inside in the 17th floor ballroom. Our guests loved that everything was in one place: the ceremony, the reception, and many stayed at the hotel as well!

The venue itself is just so beautiful and unique! And because of its grandeur, my husband and I were able to save a bit on decor since the ballroom really is a work of art itself and the views of the cityscape are unbeatable! And while the third floor terrace is susceptible to noise from the streets and city, it was still so nice to have an outdoor space to enjoy the ceremony and the temperature for our 5pm ceremony could not have been more lovely!

Now, onto the food! The food at The Graduate is absolutely delicious. I had so many guests come up to us throughout the evening and even after the wedding to share how great the food was. They also present the food in such a lovely way: the butter for the bread was shaped as flowers, the dinnerware is elegant. the servers are very attentive, and the best part is the flaming flambé presentation. Our DJ played a fun song and dimmed the lights while the staff performed/presented the flambé! It really was such a special moment and got the whole room excited again!

After the courses ended for the evening, our guests hit the dance floor which is HUGE! My husband is Greek and so finding a floor big enough for the group Greek dances was very important to us during our venue search and boy, did The Graduate deliver.

And finally, Elise and her team are incredible! From our very first tour and on, she was a professional to a T. She was upfront and honest about the pricing model which my husband and I really appreciated after touring so many other places with hidden fees. Her team was on top of everything for us: reminding us of upcoming payments, helping us change our payment methods, coordinating with us on the room block, and answering my many many questions as the date got closer. One of the great things about working with Elise is her tenure at the venue and her reputation in the RI wedding community. She knows everything about the space and everyone knows her! Our vendors all had such wonderful things to say about her which I think speaks volumes about how easy it is for the vendors to work with The Graduate as well.

My day of coordinator was Lauren! We met the week before our wedding in our final meeting with Elise where we went over details and logistics for the wedding day! Her and Elise did such a great job of making my vision come to life the day of with the guest book table, our generations of love table, etc. When I saw the space and the set up for the first time, I was truly blown away. But their professionalism didn’t end there, Lauren went above and beyond and even helped me to bustle my dress when my mom and MOH were struggling! She made me feel so special all day and really made the day run so smoothly, taking care of all the behind the scenes work without me even noticing.

I cannot thank the staff at The Graduate enough for making my wedding day truly the best day!! Everyone had such a blast and it genuinely is a day to remember forever. I cannot recommend this venue enough!!

Best wedding weekend ever!

We highly recomend having your wedding here. We had such a great experience working with Elise and Michael. They made our day so special. We had the best weekend of our life. The rehearsal dinner the night before and the day of the wedding were perfect and everything ran smoothly! We had so much fun at our wedding. Our guests are still calling and texting us saying how much they enjoyed the wedding and the food. Everyone's meals were excellent.

Best night of our lives

Working with Elise made wedding planning less stressful! Every single space of our venue was perfect. What we loved most was how different this venue is from most. Guests could not stop talking about the venue, food and history of the hotel. We were so fortunate to have perfect weather to have our ceremony on the terrace. We truly took advantage of the entire hotel. The groomsmen got ready in the boardroom, we did our first look in the summit rooms, cocktail hour on the balcony, reception in one of the ballrooms and even booked Reiners for the after party. So glad we snuck outside for pictures too.

Everyone at the Graduate was a pleasure to work with and extremely responsive. If you’re thinking about the Graduate as your venue, book now!

The Graduate Providence

The Graduate Providence was the most amazing wedding venue! From the staff, food, accommodations, and overall experience, my husband and I could not be happier we chose them for our wedding day. Throughout the planning process, our wedding coordinator was always available and responsive and wanted the absolute best for our day. Winter wedding

We had the most beautiful, romantic, well-organized wedding at The Graduate. Everything was timed beautifully to maximize dancing. There was never a wait at the bar (even with 200+ guests). Food was fantastic- especially the desert they provide. Highly recommend!!!

Perfect from start to finish

Our experience was fantastic and above all expectations - from the moment we stepped into the hotel (in 2021!) until we left the morning after the wedding. The venue is beautiful, the service is impeccable, and the quality is excellent. We had a large ballroom wedding, a welcome reception, a breakfast, almost 100 hotel rooms, and used many additional hotel services while there. Everyone we encountered was top-notch. All this was under the general supervision of Elise whose expertise, responsiveness, and general demeanor allowed things to go as smoothly as possible - and made for a truly wonderful experience from start to finish!

Elise at the Graduate Providence was easily the most responsive and flexible wedding coordinator out of the dozens of venues/reps I had contacted up and down the East Coast. They also have the most transparent pricing of anyone I had reached out to -- a huge plus! She accommodated all types of dietary needs and last-minute changes without batting an eye. An absolute consummate professional. Everything went off without a hitch and our guests loved the service and atmosphere of the hotel. Each space (ceremony, reception, and brunch) was unique and inviting and perfect for the weekend's events. The staff were awesome. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

Perfection!

The Graduate was the perfect location for Mary and Danny’s wedding! From the first meeting, the staff was professional, well versed, and accommodating! The venue was immaculate, well maintained! The food was delicious from the cocktail hour to the night cap of cookies and milk! Everything we asked for was done, leaving us time to enjoy ourselves and not managing any details! Amazing would be an understatement!!

From the moment we started wedding planning the whole process was easy, professional, and to say the least outstanding! From that day forward to the day after our wedding day, the flow went smoothly and we did not notice one hiccup (if there even was any).

Gorgeous historic hotel with plenty of modern character

Finding a venue was definitely the toughest part of wedding planning for us. After months of searching we realized we really wanted a place that could offer everything in one package (not have to hire chairs or need extra bathrooms separately etc). So the hotel route made the most sense. But a lot of hotel ballrooms are not very nice looking so we were very happy to find that the Graduate Hotel (formerly the Biltmore if you're from RI) had everything we wanted--historic charm + cool modern furnishings! The team was quick to respond and had a variety of pricing packages that were easy to accommodate and adjust based on your needs. They were also incredibly flexible and allowed us to bring in 5 oversize 4x7' panels as the backdrop for the ceremony! The food was fantastic, they also offer a tasting prelude to try everything several months before as well as meet more vendors to help bring your day together. We had lots of planning meetings and were always clear on any extra costs so nothing was a surprise at the end. The actual wedding day was gorgeous, as well as incredibly organized and well-run by their team. Could not have asked for a better venue experience!

Best Wedding Venue

This was the best wedding venue I ever could have imagined. Everyone, especially our wedding coordinator, Elise was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, nice, easy going, professional— I could go on and on. Loved her. She made sure everything was perfect with such ease. The room was great, the food was great, the service was great, cocktail hour was great, the flambé presentation was great, EVERYTHING was great. They really know what they are doing. We had a 200 person wedding with a big band. Everything was perfect. It was a wonderful venue.

A Dream Come True!

My husband and I met at the Ice Rink directly across from Graduate Providence and as we’d skate many nights, we’d glare up at the 17th ballroom with the lights flashing. When we got engaged in 2018, we knew there was no other place we were having our wedding reception than the building we’d over timelessly stare at and dream of dancing in the grand ballroom, Graduate Providence. Our wedding was the fairytale we always dreamed and dancing in the grand ballroom was a truly a dream come true! Historic Venue with Excellent Service!

As soon as we stepped into the lobby of the Graduate, we knew this was where we had to have our wedding weekend. We toured the smaller ballroom first and then the larger one on the 17th floor. Both are beautiful but the 17th floor ballroom is absolutely stunning. We wanted an elegant and classy ballroom and this was perfect. The location of the venue and its offerings made the weekend flow so easily - getting ready in the gorgeous suite with terrace access (it's even complimentary the night of the wedding!) days before and the morning of with my family and bridal party, first looks on the terrace, in the lobby and on the 2nd floor, ceremony at Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul just down the road, cocktail hour on 17th floor with live pianist, flowed right into the reception in the ballroom, after party at Reiners with open bar, late night food, and reserved virtual golf bays, and then finally, the morning after brunch for all guests on the 18th floor. The whole weekend logistically was a dream and we had a lot of guests stay at the hotel as well. Elise, Sarah and their team, went above and beyond. They were true professionals and listened to every detail and request I had. They encouraged us to do what we wanted, not what was just standard. Definitely do the flambe dessert, guests had never seen that before!! They allowed us to bring components of the centerpieces, followed all the directions on set up and made sure our vision really came to life. Even during our menu tasting, we had execellent service from the staff. David has been working there for over 20 years and we loved him so much, we requested he be at our sweetheart table and taking care of us. There he was on our day, handing us champagne and hors d'oeuvres while we snuck into the ballroom early during cocktail hour to bustle my dress and take more pictures. Overall, it was the best weekend, with an unforgettable venue and service. Guests could not say enough good things about the cool rooms, design of the lobby and beauty of the ballroom - everyone was truly in awe when they walked into every room. We couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else and we thank Elise and her team for being there every step of the way.

An Unforgettable Weekend

Brace yourself for a bit of a long review. The Graduate Providence is hands-down the most stunning venue I ever have encountered. As a woman who loves jazz and whiskey and the art deco age, I could not have dreamed up a more perfect location. The ballroom reminded me of Beauty and the Beast, and every detail of the hotel, from the ceiling tiles to the carpet, was beautiful. The staff was thorough and attentive, and the Winter Package offered allowed my husband and I to have our dream wedding.

I think it's safe to say that the 2020-2022 wedding seasons have been trying times. My husband and I got engaged in December of 2020 and quickly found and fell in love with the Graduate Providence. We booked our wedding for January 2022 and thought we would definitely be in the clear of COVID by then. That looked to be the case up until about 6 weeks before the wedding, when, during the holidays and the omicron variant, COVID numbers surged like never before. My husband and I watched our invite list drop from 193 to 108 with drop-outs daily. It was heartbreaking. The most important thing to us was that the people we loved would be there and it looked like that was slipping through our fingers. A week before our wedding (and the day we had a groomsman drop-out) we dropped off our stuff at the hotel and had our final meeting. We were emotionally drained. Michael, the Food and Beverage Manager (covering for the wonderful Elise who was on a much-deserved vacation) and Dana met with us. Not only did they let us adjust our numbers until the last minute, but they were empathetic and encouraging. They took us to see the ballroom set for a smaller wedding, and put our mind at ease. It was a turning point for us.

The wedding weekend was spectacular. Michael, Dana, and Sarai were by our side the entire time and went above and beyond their job description. There was not a single issue all weekend (at least that we heard about), and the staff and venue made us feel like a million bucks. Despite being a popular wedding venue, we felt like we were their only couple. It was pure magic.

In case you can't tell, I couldn't say enough about this venue. They made the experience special, even in the most trying times. Booking at this venue was the best decision we made. I highly recommend for others to do the same!

The Perfect Day

Elise and the staff at the Graduate were nothing short of fantastic. We planned our wedding before Covid and had to reschedule the entire event, but Elise worked with us to make sure that we still had our dream wedding. Getting married at The Graduate was the best decision me and my husband made! We had our vow renewal ceremony (covid bride, here!) at Graduate Providence, and Elise and her team went over the top to ensure we had an utterly perfect day. From the beginning, we were both convinced that we did not want to have our wedding at a hotel - we thought the hotel weddings we had attended in the past were devoid of personality and character. Our wedding planner suggested we meet for coffee at the coffee shop in the lobby of this hotel... and one look at the lobby and we fell in LOVE. The lobby is just breaktakingly beautiful. It really makes a statement as soon as you walk in - you are transported to the glamour of the 1920s. The hotel has two beautiful ballrooms - the Biltmore Ballroom on the top floor of the hotel has beautiful city views of Providence, and the Capital Ballroom downstairs is right off of the gorgeous mezzanine of the hotel. Both rooms have an incredible amount of character and are beautiful and special. We had our ceremony downstairs and our reception upstairs, and both rooms were just spectacular. Not only are the ballroom event spaces beautiful, but the hotel has a beautiful outdoor terrace on which we had our welcome reception for guests the night before the wedding. The terrace has a beautiful view of the city and the park next to the hotel. There is also a lovely event space on the top floor of the hotel with floor to ceiling windows - we had our Sunday brunch there, and it was another beautiful space! In short, there are so many beautiful options to choose from and you can host your entire wedding weekend there like we did - the convenience of having your entire wedding at the same hotel was SUCH a benefit for both us and our guests. No worries about transporting anyone, and everyone has a comfy room to retreat to whenever they want! The location is extremely convenient (walkable to the train station, just a few minutes from the highway), and this was also a major plus for our out of town guests who were not forced to rent a car.
To make this venue even better, the event staff were truly some of the best people we have ever worked with - and our wedding planner confirmed how flexible and wonderful they were during the whole process. We worked with Elise, a senior catering manager - her warmth and flexibility were a large part of how we decided on the Graduate as a wedding venue. And we were not disappointed!! Elise worked closely with our wedding planner to coordinate everything across the entire weekend. She accommodated all of our requests (some of which were probably very silly), and her whole team (Michael and Desiree were special standouts) made sure the whole weekend went smoothly. The food is so good, and the kitchen even made us special appetizers for our cocktail hour when we asked for something not on their menu- bite-sized chicken and waffles, which were DELICIOUS. It really personalized our wedding and we were so grateful at how easy it was to work with everyone there. When we were not sure of what to do, Elise made recommendations that were right on the money. Our 155 guests were so impressed by the service at all of our wedding events, and were so happy with the food! So many people said it was the best wedding they had ever attended - because of the service, the convenience of having a room at the wedding venue, and the atmosphere. In short, if you are looking for a classic cosmopolitan wedding at a historic, BEAUTIFUL hotel with a FANTASTIC and extremely experienced event staff... choose The Graduate Providence as your wedding venue! We could not have been happier with our decision. Thank you to Elise and all the Graduate staff!! We cannot wait to be back to celebrate our anniversary :)

The best wedding anyone had every attended!

That was the sentiment from all of our guests. The Graduate is a gorgeous setting allowing you hotel convenience without conference room atmosphere. They are responsive and accommodating (they even created a special hors d oeuvre for us). Everything went smoothly and our guests loved the convenience of Providence over a bigger city. If our other son wants a wonder, elegant wedding we will look no further than The Graduate.

Best night ever dream wedding

First off, Elise was hands down the best person to help us with our day. Our day was perfect in every way. The attention to detail during the day of allowed for a stress free on time wedding. The Graduate Providence exceeded all my expectations. The accommodations were luxurious. The bridal suite was the most beautiful room I've ever seen. Phenomenal wedding venue

We were thrilled with our wedding at Graduate Providence. Elise, Michael and the entire staff there are the absolute best wedding professionals you will find in RI. You can tell they love what they do and are passionate about providing the best experience for every couple. We had our ceremony in the smaller Capital ballroom and the reception in the large Biltmore ballroom. Both spaces are beyond stunning - we barely even needed decor since the spaces are so ornate and gorgeous. We had thunderstorms on our wedding day so we were limited to indoor photos but I'm certain they'll turn out beautiful because the hotel is so magnificent.

We'd booked the Graduate in January 2019 for a July 2020 wedding. Due to COVID, we had to postpone a year and Elise and the entire Graduate team was so easy to work with to shift our wedding date. They were super accommodating with any request we had, were very organized and were incredibly responsive to every email and phone call. I couldn't have predicted that I'd be planning a wedding during a pandemic but I couldn't have picked a better team to help with it.

Our wedding was worth the very long wait due to COVID, due to the impeccable food and service at the Graduate. Everyone was telling us how much they loved the food. Even the salad was a work of art - everything was not only tasty but it was plated beautifully.

Also, Graduate was one of the only wedding venues we found that was upfront, honest and transparent about pricing. We'd visited several other venues with a similar look in Providence that seemed more affordable but once you added up all the hidden fees like cake cutting, chair rentals and required uplighting, they quickly became very expensive. The Graduate worked with me to customize a package within our budget and were very accommodating about any changes we wanted to make. Our wedding with them was worth every single penny and then some. You also can't beat the convenience of getting married at a hotel - our guests didn't have the stress of going from place to place and our bridal party all appreciated that we could get ready on site. It really made the day so much easier.

We highly recommend that any couple getting married in New England choose the Graduate - you will be so happy with your choice.

Everything I could have imagined & more!

I cannot say enough about how amazing the Graduate team was for our NYE2019 wedding. From the minute I walked into the lobby, I knew this place was where I needed to have my wedding. The Grand Ballroom exceeded my every expectation and Elise and her team made everything PERFECT all the while calming my every anxiety. From the get-go working with Elise and her team was fun and they made everything a breeze, which I didn't think was possible. Our big day was seamless and I cannot imagine having it anywhere but the Graduate. Our guests are still raving about how great the food was, how unbelievable the ballroom looked and how much they loved their rooms! I cannot recommend the Graduate team enough, you will not regret it :)

Experienced team, flawless execution, perfect wedding experience

I could not recommend Elise & the team at the Graduate enough! From the beginning of the planning to the very end of the reception, everything was flawless. Our wedding date was 10/05/2019 and we had our ceremony on the Terrace, happy hour in L'Apogee, reception in the Biltmore Ballroom, and breakfast the next day in the Summit Rooms. Elise was incredibly experienced and helpful in every step of the planning process. She helped arranged places for pictures, helped choose the best layout for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and helped coordinate with the separate vendors (photography, cake, band, and flowers). The banquet team ensured the happy hour and reception were just as flawless. I truly had such a wonderful experience with the staff at the Graduate and highly, highly recommend you book your wedding there.

Special shout-out to Elise: The morning of my wedding, the florist was supposed to come to the hotel to pin the boutonnières to the tuxes. For some reason, she sent someone who was not able to pin the boutonnières. I heard one mention of it, Elise stepped in, told me not to worry about it, and handled it herself. I so appreciated her handling that situation. Thank you Elise!!

Still thanking our lucky stars for this...and the Graduate Team!

There is so much I could say about our wedding at the Graduate on Saturday, March 14 2020. And fortunately, it will ONLY be good things coming from us. As a wedding gets planned for months, the stress of the last few weeks is always the worst, just making sure everything will be perfect and goes off without a hitch. Well, as time went on everything was perfect, and then we got hit with a Global Pandemic. This on top of just your normal wedding stress is a major burden but also nothing you can do about it but to roll with the punches.
I cannot say enough amazing things about this venue, including three major people who played parts in it. Elise, Michael, and Sarai have exceeded all of our expectations, went above and beyond making sure our day went absolutely amazing, and we could not have asked for a better staff to be there with us throughout the whole day/night. With Michael rearranging tables for cancellations we received up until the last hour, Elise sprinting to my room to grab the bouquet that I forgot, and Sarai and her team making our night so memorable in so many ways. It was amazing, and we would do it all over again.
After all the crazy stress, worries, and just wedding day jitters, I couldn't have done it without this amazing staff helping us out. From the ceremony to the final song, it was AMAZING, and perfect. Thank you Graduate Team! I will recommend this place forever and ever.

Absolutely Incredible!

Everyone knows that the ballroom at the Graduate Providence is absolutely stunning. With its high ceilings and intricate details, it is a breathtaking space. Add to that the amazing staff, great service, and delicious food and you have a recipe for an absolutely perfect wedding! We couldn’t be more thankful that we chose to have our wedding at the Graduate Providence. Elise is extremely responsive to all of your needs and questions and can walk you through the entire wedding planning process. Almost two months later we still have guests telling us that our wedding was the best they had ever been to! We have nothing but positive things to say about the Graduate. If you are even considering booking your wedding there, do it! We wish we could do it all over again!

Amazing - Quality and Experience is Top Notch

My husband and I were SO happy and impressed with everything leading up to our wedding and especially on the day of. The efforts from Elise, Sarai and the entire staff were accommodating and professional. The attention to detail was incredible. Any question I had was answered and any problem was solved in the matter of minutes. The food was amazing -- from the lunch in the bridal suite, the appetizers at Cocktail Hour and the entrees during the reception and the post-wedding breakfast -- the Graduate did not disappoint. All of the guests enjoyed the venue and the wedding reception immensely. They are still talking about it! Everything the Graduate did to keep the beauty of the Biltmore was perfect. Wedding Brunch at the Biltmore

From the moment we walked into our first meeting with Elise at the BIltmore it felt as though we were not planning our wedding alone. Elise walked us through every detail from the timeline of our wedding, to the way the napkins were folded, and any FYI's that we may have forgotten throughout the planning process. Every detail discussed was perfectly executed on our wedding day. The staff at the front desk was friendly and proactive to our guests. The food was outstanding and exceeded all expectations, and the venue's renovations were stunning that every photo was a show stopper.

Elegant, unique, professional, accommodating, magical

Prepping for a wedding is an exciting, yet overwhelming time. Some brides know exactly what they want from start to finish, but it wasn't that simple for me. I needed someone to hold my hand throughout the process.

I originally chose the Biltmore for three reasons:
1. I didn't want to hire separate catering
2. I wanted a venue that could provide hotel rooms, a ceremony, and a reception incased it snowed
3. I needed something within my budget

I wasn't too keen on the idea of a winter wedding to begin with. However, everything far exceeded my expectations.
Elise guided me patiently from start to finish. She helped work with my budget and took care of all the little details I overlooked. She directed our rehearsal and big day from start to finish. I never had to look at the clock or ask someone what was next. She gave us a schedule so we knew what to expect. Her professional and warmth were so reassuring. She is one incredible woman!

Our guests raved about the food, and there were even delicious options for my vegan and gluten free friends.

My husband is a photographer, and he was nervous about indoor photos. The Biltmore has amazing lighting for photos!

The entire day was magical. Everything was perfect from the moment I woke up in the bridal suit, to the end of the night when my husband and I walked into our honeymoon suit to find chocolates, champagne, and other goodies.

Overall, the venue was elegant, unique, accommodating, professional, and something that my guests and I will remember for years to come.

Amazing day

Our wedding was beyond amazing! We had a Christmas theme wedding on November 25th. We had a guest list of 69. I have always loved the Grand Ballroom. It’s a beautiful room all on its own and it’s also where my husband’s grandparents had their reception 62 years ago! It’s a classic.

The hotel decorates for the holidays at the beginning of November so it made for great photos! We took pictures on the grand staircase. We had our ceremony on the 18th floor right by the windows. It was perfect! Our guests were blown away by the views! Cocktail hour on one side of the ballroom and dinner on the other side.

Elise is the senior wedding coordinator and she is awesome! Since we had a small guest list we took full advantage of the space. We had a coffee/hot cocoa/dessert station and a candy station and the displays were beautiful. The food was hot and delicious and the staff was on point! The team of Missy, Roland, Carmine, Kim, Meagan, Dan, David took great care of us, our families are still raving about it! It was the perfect day! I highly recommend you consider this gem for your special day or event!

This was the first venue we looked at and we instantly knew this was where we wanted to get married. We met Elise Shatraw, Senior Catering Sales Manager, during our initial visit and were very impressed with her from the start.
We had our ceremony in the Garden Room. When we first booked our wedding we could not be guaranteed this room for the ceremony, it could have been booked for another wedding on the same night. Luckily the Garden Room did not get booked for another wedding, and was available for our ceremony. The Garden Room is beautiful on its own, minimal decorations/flowers were needed. We had 210 guests and they were able to comfortably fit in this room.
Our cocktail hour was in the L'Apogee Room. The transition from the 2nd to 17th floor was slow. Due to the backup on the elevators the line to the bar wasn’t bad because guests were arriving in waves. The passed hors d'oeuvres were delicious.
The reception was in the Grand Ballroom.The food was delicious. The lobster chowder was very “New England”. We went with the champagne pop and the flambé presentation, both were definitely worth it! The flambé is really fun and unique. We did have a few wedding crashers during the reception. We knew this was a possibility since there isn’t any security setup to stop people from walking into the elevator and just going up to the 17th floor.
There is a wedding prelude event in the winter that all summer couples +4 guests are invited to attend.This gave us the opportunity to taste many of the food options from the menu before picking our final selections.
We did find the room booking process frustrating. The booking link had rate issues/date restrictions. Our first room block filled up quickly, yet I was not notified. I would have preferred they were more proactive in communicating that the block was full.
Elise was always very organized which made me feel comfortable handing off all of my wedding "stuff" and having her set it up the way I had envisioned

From the beginning, the Biltmore staff provided a concise and clear
overview of the space, services and pricing. We did not have any
surprises throughout the process. Our coordinator was flexible with
requests we had, responded to emails in an extraordinarily quick time,
and was always calm, extremely articulate and clear with
explanations. We enjoyed our time with her and she gave us tremendous
confidence for our day.

We see the Biltmore as a very special and unique place. It provides a
lovely cocktail space and gorgeous, character rich ballroom
overlooking Providence with convenience of guest rooms an elevator
ride away. But it’s not just the building that makes it special, the
service provided by the staff starting with our very first visit
through working out details after our wedding day, has made it a real
delight. Our guests experienced this and so did we.
We are incredibly thankful to the Biltmore for making our day so
beautiful, enjoyable, special and fun! All of the staff we worked with
were accommodating and went the extra mile. We highly recommend the
Biltmore.

My husband and I recently had our wedding at the Providence Biltmore. We had both our ceremony and reception there. It was definitely the absolute best day of our lives, thanks to the Biltmore! The venue is GORGEOUS and the staff is fantastic! We couldn’t have asked for better service! We had our ceremony in the Garden ball room and our reception upstairs in the grand ball room. Our guests really enjoyed this because it gave them a change in scenery. The food was incredible and our guests raved about it! Our guests were also blown away by the flambé presentation, we highly recommend adding that to your wedding! So many of our guests said that our wedding was the best wedding they have ever been to. The Grand Ballroom at the Biltmore sells itself with its 1920s fairytale wedding vibe, and our wedding ceremony and reception were orchestrated flawlessly by the Biltmore staff. All of our friends and family raved about the room, the food, and the ambiance created by such an elegant historical property. Roland, our attendant for the evening, was wonderful- he helped us with formalities timing, made sure we ate, and did everything he could to ensure that we had a wonderful time. Well, they say better late than never! I so wanted to leave a review for The Providence Biltmore right after our ceremony and reception, but life has been quite busy since our wedding on 10/07/17. My husband Eric and I can not say enough kind words about Elise and her staff. When Elise descended the grand staircase for our first meeting, we knew from her professional, confident, approachable and tasteful presence that we were making the right choice for our ceremony and reception venue. Her guidance, attention to detail, prompt responses to emails and warmth were appreciated throughout our one year planning process and the results were FLAWLESS. Our guests continue to rave about the exceptional service and the presentation and taste of everything we ate throughout our cocktail hour and reception. ( You must choose the lamb lollipops. You'll thank me later. :) ) The view and ambiance of L'apogee 18 can not be found anywhere else in Providence. Eric and I look forward to returning to The Biltmore for our first anniversary and to reunite with Elise and staff we got to know during our stay. I also feel the front desk, bellman and valet staff should be recognized for their professionalism as they too, contributed to a memorable experience for us and our out of town guests. After checking out many venues, my daughter visited the Providence Biltmore. The minute she walked into the door of not only the lobby, but especially the Grand Ballroom, her decision was made. Elise Shatraw, the Senior Catering Sales Manager, walked us through everything with ease. Little did we know how wonderful she would be throughout the wedding planning process from start to finish. Her response to my many emails was super quick with every question answered and every reassurance given. The wedding was held last Friday, during the National Governor's Conference. We would never have known that anything other than our wedding was happening! The Providence Biltmore was an amazing venue for this special day.... the ceremony was held in the Garden Room, which was elegant beyond measure. Cocktails were served in L'Apogee on the 17th floor with an amazing view of the city... the appetizers and drinks were excellent! The reception was held in the Grand Ballroom... and there is a reason they call it "Grand". It felt like a fairy tale... there are insufficient words for the atmosphere. We had our wedding at the Providence Biltmore last April. We had the best experience working with Elise and her team. All the planning leading up to the big day was seamless. They were so professional and did everything to make our day special. The food was absolutely amazing, the ballroom was gorgeous, and the staff was super friendly. We could really see how well prepared they were and experienced with planning events, especially wedding receptions. We would highly recommend having your wedding reception at the Biltmore. You will not be disappointed!

We held an intimate wedding ceremony on the 2nd floor balcony of the Providence Biltmore. Not only were the staff courteous and complimentary but they were efficient and made my dream wedding look absolutely effortless! Kudos to the events team at the Biltmore for doing a wonderful job creating a warm and inviting wedding atmosphere!

best venue ever. we had our ceremony in the garden room and reception in the ballroom and they were both STUNNING. the food was SO DELICIOUS and elise and michael and the entire waitstaff was FABULOUS. elise was amazing to work with, so responsive to my emails and so helpful with any requests. the only issue i can think of is that a lot of rooms (including my grooms) had a big issue with the AC in their rooms but that didn't affect my amazing wedding. the biltmore literally made it the best night EVER.

When we walked into the Biltmore and caught a glimpse of the incredible staircase that greeted us, it was hard to fight off the immediate feeling of “we found our place”. If only we knew how lucky we were having that feeling hit us so soon. The aesthetics of the lobby, stairway, and mezzanine only scratch the service of what the Providence Biltmore has to offer. If anything, they can be defined as symbolic of the first-class service you will receive from Caitlin and Elise throughout your wedding planning process.
We got married in the recently renovated Garden Ballroom. With that, our guests were allowed to utilize not only the beautiful ballroom, but also the entire mezzanine for the night. We’ve received a countless amount of feedback from our guests, telling us how much they loved the fact that they were free to spread out throughout the entire mezzanine, rather than being confined to one room for the night. The service provided by the wait staff was reminiscent of being at a 5 star restaurant. The room was set up in such an incredibly classy, yet simple fashion. With no detail left unaccounted for.
Elise is the manager of the department and was amazingly knowledgeable and a great communicator. She always returned emails and phone calls in a timely fashion, with a smile on her face, and an insight and guidance that made you feel at ease, during what we all know can be a very stressful planning process.
Our main contact was Caitlin. An incredibly talented, kind, and energetic person with an innate ability to take all of those ideas you have in your head and bring them into reality. From the get-go she made us feel so comfortable and trusting, that we would often find ourself deferring to her when we needed advice on a big decision. Throughout our planning process, Caitlin was there time after time to answer our questions or provide advice. She goes above and beyond working with the other vendors you have chosen for your day.

Elise and Caitlin are true service professionals. Their attention to detail is second to none. Our wedding set the bar for friends and family who are having/attending weddings. We had our wedding reception in the Garden Room at the Biltmore in November 2015. We looked at several reception vendors during the process, but the Biltmore really stood out. Their prices were very reasonable and they were flexible to fit within our tight budget. The venue is overall gorgeous and our guests were blown away. They cared about every detail and were attentive to make sure everything was perfect. Throughout the night, the staff handled everything and me and my husband were not bothered once during the night so we could enjoy ourselves. Everything ran very smooth, with little if any error. The food was delicious. Overall we couldn't have asked for anything better. Every dollar we spent at the Biltmore was well worth it. I highly recommend them to any bride or groom.

We had the BEST wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception anyone could ask for at the Biltmore. The location is absolutely stunning and the staff could not have been anymore amazing to work with. The food was fantastic - we have had multiple guests tell us it was the best wedding food they have ever had. We recommend booking your wedding here in a heart-beat - we had no issues and felt were beyond satisfied at all levels with the Biltmore!! From planning to actual execution, our wedding was flawless and I know that wouldn't have happened without the help from the AMAZING team at the Biltmore.

Our wedding at the Biltmore was absolutely perfect from start to finish. We stayed Friday and Saturday at the hotel in the bridal suite and as soon as we walked into the room we knew it was going to be the best weekend of our lives. The bridal suite is absolutely gorgeous! The outside terrace is what makes the room, it was the perfect space for family and friends to hang out during down times of the wedding! IT WAS PERFECT! The room was also great for getting ready the morning of the wedding. Plenty of space for the entire wedding party, plus more, to get ready without being on top of each other! The views from the terrace and the grand ballroom were gorgeous and really was a "wow" factor for our guests.The staff at the Biltmore were the best. They were extremely attentive to everything, one step ahead of us the entire night. During dinner, my now husband and I were greeting our guests at their tables when the main course was brought out. The wait staff noticed that we were walking around and kept our meals warm in the back until they noticed we sat back down. It was the little things that made the night perfect. The waitstaff were not the only ones who helped make our wedding great, the valet literally saved the day for us. The limo that we had booked for my now husband and groomsman to take to the church broke down in front of the hotel, one of the valet immediately offered to drive them to the church, almost 20 minutes away, with a van from the Biltmore. I can not thank them enough for going above and beyond without even being asked! All of the valet workers were awesome the entire weekend!!! Everything was perfect from the planning process to the entire weekend of our wedding at the Providence Biltmore !

The Providence Biltmore Hotel was an absolutely beautiful and wonderful venue for our ceremony and reception. Because we were the only wedding that night, we got to use the Garden Room, Terrace, and Grand Ballroom for all of our various events. I didn't have to worry about a thing the day of because our wedding coordinators were fabulous and took care of every last detail just as we had imagined it. It was also wonderfully convenient to be in a hotel where our guests could freshen up or head to bed whenever they needed to!

We had our wedding reception at the Providence Biltmore on 11/8/14 and there is no other word to describe our experience than complete perfection. We could not think of one thing that went wrong for us. I grew up close to Providence and it felt like a dream to have our reception there. My husband is from NY and we needed something convenient to our out of state guests. They were extremely accommodating to all of our guests and they said we were one of the largest room blocks they ever had for a wedding held there. The event management and service was flawless and the food was so delicious. They worked with us on everything to make sure every detail was exactly what we wanted. They even worked with us on pricing to a certain extent. Everyone is still talking about how it was one of the best and most beautiful weddings they had ever been to and how they loved the hotel and the historical elegance it has. I am so happy we chose the Biltmore for our venue and we highly recommend it to anyone looking to get married in Providence!

We just had our wedding here at this hotel on September 13th and our families couldn't be more pleased. It was a dream come true! Perfection, perfection, perfection! The hotel is rich in history and provides an elegant, upscale background to your special day. The newly renovated guest rooms are gorgeous and our guests were delighted to stay there. Every interaction we had at the hotel from the front desk, to security, to the Spa, to the catering and sales department, was top notch and everyone delivered a very high level of service. Scott, the Director of Catering, was a gem to work with and the seasoned banquet staff provided excellent service to the our guests. I have worked in hotels in the past and the Providence Biltmore is truly blessed to have these folks as part of their team. We can't wait to come back for our anniversary!

Our wedding at the Providence Biltmore was absolutely MAGNIFICENT!!!!!!! Scott Connery was the most patient and caring person to work with. Scott was very generous with his time, no task was ever too much, he made us feel like we were only couple he was working with. The first time we met Scott, it was our last stop, we knew he would make our day, the most special day of our lives and he did just that! We are forever grateful :)

The service & banquet team was impressive. Each server had a can-do attitude and warm smile, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our guests were very complimentary of the menu, the Chef prepared each meal to perfection! A gracious thank you to Katy, Caitlin, Karen, Roland, Missy, Angelo and Desiree!

We LOVE the Providence Biltmore, we can't wait to come back for a weekend and to send more engaged friends to Scott, Katy & Caitlin - the DREAM TEAM!!!! :)

We did not get married at the Providence Biltmore but after touring many hotels in the Providence area for our guests to stay at the Biltmore was hands down the best. Joy assisted with the room blocks and she was amazing. Very responsive and willing to work with us to accommodate our needs as well as the needs of our guests. We also decided to host our rehearsal dinner inside the Biltmore on the 18th floor where the city views were breathtaking. Elyce was the coordinator for that and she was also great - willing to work within our budget and very responsive as well. Lastly, I along with my bridesmaids had hair and make up done at the Biltmore Spa. Lisa at the spa handled the coordination of this and she was a pleasure to work with as well. Ling did my makeup and Gabby did my hair and both were fabulous. Highly recommend and it was very convenient having everything there. Our guests all loved the Biltmore as well!

What an amazing night...we were married over New Years and I can not rave enough about how awesome this place is!! Scott was amazing!!! We originally booked this venue for a vows renewal ceremony for my parents, but little did I know they secretly booked it for my wedding (which I found out a few months later when my fiance proposed!!). That didn't frazzle Scott one bit, we made some adjustments to the menu and added a few enhancements.

From start to finish, everything was flawless. Scott was not overbearing, and offered suggestions - only as needed!! Everything was perfect!! When he walked us into the room before the reception started, we were blown away!! It was gorgeous, and he really captured the vibe we were trying portray for our New Years event. Black tie, classy, elegant but with a "party" feel. It was just amazing on all fronts!!! All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and super helpful. Oh, and the food/drinks - delicioso!!!Truly an amazing event, so much so people are still raving about it!!! Scott is an all-star and I would recommend him working with anyone, and the Biltmore - you can't beat it, it's beautiful!!!!

Oh, Joy L. in the reservation department is amazing!! She kept me up to date with my block information, was super friendly, personally made changes as needed when I requested. I was VERY happy with the service as well as all the front door staff and valet staff. Everyone made us feel special!!

The only complaint that I would have is that my room wasn't available when I checked in, and even though they offered me a few drink tickets to McCormicks, we didn't get up there until far past the 3PM checkin time (on a Monday which was weird) and I was scrambling before my rehearsal dinner to get dressed (not to mention thinking how my dress was stuffed in the garment bag every second I was waiting). But that is all I can say because everyone was amazing!! Thank you sooooo much for a night to remember forever!!!!

We held our Ceremony and reception at the Biltmore. It was absolutely PERFECT. We really wanted that old Hollywood glamour/ Great Gatsby feel to our wedding and this venue was perfect! It has so much glamour and vintage charm. We had our ceremony in the Garden Room, and reception in the grand ballroom. All the spaces are unique in their own way and so beautiful! We had a lot of our guests stay overnight which was nice and convenient. The food was AMAZING. Wedding food is usually not so great when made in large amounts..but this food was incredible! Our guests are still raving about it. Scott was a pleasure to work with. He is a little hard to get ahold of at times, but they do hold a LOT of weddings there so I assume he is very busy! He helped our day run smoothly. I cant say enough good things about the Biltmore! It was perfect!

How do you start a review of the most wonderful place I have ever dealt with. From the very first meeting with Scott Connery to the day after the wedding everything was beyond perfection. Scott assisted us in the meal planning and his recommendations for everything made the day so much more special from the signature salad to the mix grill to the desert table people are still talking about the food. The cocktail hour on the 3rd floor veranda was nothing less than spectacular. Awe had passed items during the cocktail hour and the waiters could not have been more personable. We then went to the 17th floor for a candlelight reception which Scott and Kati took care of making sure the room was set up exactly as we dreamed it would be. From the moment we lined up to the last dance everything ran like clockwork. We did not per say have a head table but our table had its own waiter that made sure our every need was taken care of. The meal ended with the flambé that was a real crowd pleaser! I We had spoken with many people before booking the Biltmore Hotel and everyone said how wonderful Scott and his staff where but we never dreamed it would be so easy and eloquent. I would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone and I am one tough critic! I am also happy to say that our wedding was the first legal gay wedding to take place and the staff was so excited about that!

The Providence Biltmore Hotel is a fantastic venue! The ballroom is absolutely gorgeous and there's nothing like it around as far as wedding venues goes. Scott is the wedding coordinator at the Biltmore and he works incredibly hard to make sure his brides are happy. He is professional, flexible, and just a pleasure to deal with. We used the Biltmore for our wedding accommodations and morning-after brunch, but had our ceremony and reception elsewhere. The bridal suite was massive and gorgeous, but had a lot of slightly broken items and on Friday night I had to put spa music on my ipod at full blast because I could hear the reception party going on in the room above the bridal suite. It was an excellent place to get ready with my bridal party on Saturday morning, though. We did our first look at the Biltmore, which was beautiful. They coordinated the bus shuttle we used to transport guests and gave our guests, and us, excellent prices on our rooms. The next morning we had our farewell breakfast in the L'Apogee room and it was awesome. The food was great and the views were gorgeous. I am so happy with how the Biltmore helped us on our wedding weekend. And they handed out all our gift bags flawlessly! Joy was a pleasure to work with and very responsive.
