The Promani team was amazing to work with! Ben and Angel took the time to understand what we wanted our day to feel like and how we wanted to remember it and the images we received perfectly captured it. Angel was on board for all the untraditional aspects of the day and went with our flow rather than fitting us into a box. The gallery is beautiful and we're laughing and crying all over again as we relive the day. I'm so appreciative that we have these memories captured in such a beautiful way, Ben and the team were very professional, easy to work with, and we highly recommend Promani to future couples. -

We had the best time working with Angel and Austin for photo and video on our wedding day! Everything went smoothly throughout our full experience, from communication with the owner, Benjamin, upon booking, to scheduling our engagement shoot with Angel, to receiving our wedding photos within a month of the big day. From the moment we met Angel, her care, compassion, and talent were obvious and set us at ease even though we're not used to being in front of a camera. She listened to our wants and hopes for the feel of the shoot, and provided gorgeous pictures that captured the day and our emotions so beautifully. Her care continued through our calls leading up to the wedding with her input and help creating our timeline alongside Austin, our videographer. Austin was involved from the beginning, asking for inspo and input on our hopes for our once-in-a-lifetime wedding video. On our wedding day, not a moment was missed and the video we received matched perfectly with the mood of the day and the things that mattered most to us, capturing our memories of the best day of our lives forever. Our package also included a full ceremony video, which was edited together wonderfully and allowed us to capture all the words said in the moments that passed so quickly. We also booked our DJ, Cam, through Promani. Cam was very professional leading up to the day, had a thorough survey about our music preferences and MC requests, and went with the flow better than we could have asked for on the day of. All-in-all, with 3 of the major services we booked being through Promani, we wouldn't have changed a thing and our wedding turned out just as amazing as we hoped, and more, and it will be remembered and treasured forever. Promani has a package that will fit your needs for a very reasonable cost considering the priceless photos and video they provide and I would recommend them to all. -

We can’t say enough amazing things about Promani! They did both our engagement and wedding photos, and every single image took our breath away. Their professionalism, creativity, and warmth made both experiences feel effortless and fun.
What truly set them apart, though, was how unbelievably accommodating they were when we completely changed our wedding plans—moving everything from Michigan to Arizona with only three months to re-plan for 80 guests! Promani handled it with total grace and zero hesitation. They coordinated everything seamlessly, showed up ready for anything, and captured our day perfectly despite all the last-minute changes.
Our photos are beyond stunning, but what we’ll remember most is how calm, kind, and supportive they were during such a whirlwind time. We’ll treasure these images forever and can’t recommend Promani enough to anyone looking for a professional photographer who truly goes above and beyond! -

Absolutely Amazing!
We worked with Promani Weddings for photography and videography on our wedding day. Upon the initial call with Benjamin, we could tell we were in good hands. Everything was done so seamlessly and we had check-ins multiple times throughout the planning process. Our photographer Rayna was absolutely amazing! She was great with coordinating our timeline, identifying photo opportunities, and was very personable with everyone. Our videographer Austin was equally as amazing! He was able to capture all of our favorite ceremony and reception details throughout the day in our wedding video.
You can tell they have a passion for capturing authentic moments, and the photos speak for themselves. Our family and guests continued to comment throughout the day with how impressed they were by their professionalism, attentiveness and hard work. We are very pleased with how our wedding photos and video came out, and we cannot recommend Promani Weddings enough! -

A Gorgeous Day Beautifully Captured
We worked with Promani Weddings for our wedding photography. We spoke with Ben originally to set up the contract. He was very accessible and prompt to respond to our questions. Our photographer for the day was Malak. She was amazing! We love the photos from the day and are so grateful we will have these memories for years to come. Aside from gorgeous photos, she was also a lovely person and incredibly kind. She made sure we got each of the photos we wanted, was flexible when changing around the order of the shot list, and she had some great ideas for locations given it was a somewhat wet and overcast day from the rain. We are so very pleased – thank you for capturing our day so beautifully! -

WOW! We truly cannot thank Ben and the whole Promani team for capturing our wedding day from start to finish. We can't stop looking back on our day. The entire process of booking both our photographer and videographer was seamless, fun, and so memorable because of Ben and his attention to detail and making sure everything is easy, especially for the bride or wedding planner. The package deal of video and pictures is something you don’t want to pass up on. It’s one of the best decisions we made. Our pictures & video are better than what we ever anticipated. The video is something we can’t stop watching and find new & special moments every time we watch it. Our wedding was over the 2023 Christmas holiday, yet Ben delivered our photos and video less than 30 days after our wedding day. Watching our video and looking through our pictures on our month anniversary was such a special moment. We were blown away with his attention to detail and capturing the day in every way we envisioned it, but even better. We couldn’t wait for our wedding day knowing we had Ben & his talented team alongside us. We had a huge group too and they handled us like champs. Love them! Would want them to do other shoots if they offered
I had another photographer booked months in advance and they ended up scamming me, so I went back to looking and found these guys and I was not disappointed, they were still available for my date needed did my engagement photos and than two months later my wedding! I just got my photos back and I love them and the video. Ali is so good at making you feel comfortable too with pictures because this was my first ever shot and I would 100% recommend her. If weddings weren't a one time thing I'd hire them again. -

Ben and Lola at Promani Weddings were so amazing on both our wedding day and for our engagement pictures. They made us feel very comfortable and not even realize we're getting pictures and videos taken! We loved that we were mic'd for the entirety of the day. Our photos and video came out better than we could have ever hoped. I researched media companies for months trying to find the right one for us that was also within our budget and Promani delivered ten-fold! Carter and Shuhrat did an amazing job with the video and photos, respectively. Great Customer Service
I found Benjamin when he took over the Michigan photography branch from the now-closed media company Tolman Media. His customer service was excellent, responding quickly and answering my questions. He was easygoing and friendly, and directed my husband and I on how to pose for portraits (something we really appreciated!). We loved the final results as well. -

Promani Weddings did an amazing job capturing our wedding. The photos are absolutely stunning and the photographers, Erika and Arie, were so kind and talented. They stood out in the rain for a large portion of the day taking photos and making sure we got all the shots we wanted. I would absolutely recommend their services for your wedding or other special event. Also the pictures came back very quickly- within 2-3 weeks and we received 900 photos. 10/10 experience!! -

We initially hired Tolman Media for wedding photo/video and before our event, the company dissolved and became Promani. We ended up going a different route with our photography but kept Promani on for video. Benjamin ensured an uninterrupted experience for us and was professional and highly responsive. Our videographer Carter was awesome and fun to be around on our wedding day. Our final product was a short highlight video and all of the raw footage from the day. We'll cherish this video content forever. -

After running into photographers who demanded over an hour for photos between ceremony and reception, and photographers who wanted to take the groom and I out for drinks and endless meetings prior to the wedding, I was very relieved to find Promani. Really bummed we chose to work with this photographer last August - our photographer provided little to no direction on the day during the getting ready period for fun casual photos or during the ceremony itself where lots of family members needed coordinating to line up for photos. We needed a friend to step in and direct on their behalf because they were completely unable or unwilling to announce the photo lineup. We would’ve missed really special images with loved ones that have since passed if we didn’t get our friend involved to take this on. She has no experience whatsoever and managed to be the most helpful person on this photo team.
Ben the owner is rude and very unprofessional. Claims to be a professional but told us he couldn’t photograph our engagement photos in our hometown because they were “no pretty spots”, when a good photographer could make anything (especially beautiful downtown Rochester) look good. He then bounced us to another photographer.
He will also deletes comments or block unhappy customers online (after they’ve privately reached out to try and make things right). Super unprofessional and really sad for couples who have just one chance to capture such an important day.
Claims to be a Christian based company, but is rooted in hate and refuses to work with people that do not have the same political or religious beliefs as him. Incredibly disappointed that we ever worked with and paid this company.
