We had a great experience working with DJ Joe and cannot recommend his services enough! From the very beginning we got great vibes from Joe and did not feel embarrassed to tell him about some of our silly music choices. Joe kept the dance floor alive all night and was professional and quick when it came to answering any questions we had throughout the process. He was able to help my husband set up and sound check for a surprise live music performance he gave for the reception and was able to keep it a surprise for me as well. Joe also was very prepared for working with our videographers and offered to set up a tripod for my maid of honor who ended up not being able to make it so we could FaceTime her. My husband and I’s number one priority for our wedding was a great party, and Joe went above and beyond to deliver! Joe was never anything short of accommodating as our DJ and Emcee for the entirety of our wedding experience. From the first contact for planning, to the pre-wedding lighting setup, and to the very last song. He nailed it. Couldn't have had a better experience. Fantastic audio services for a wedding.
We had the absolute pleasure of working with Joe Clemmer of Professional DJ Services for our wedding at the Santa Barbara Courthouse on 10/15/2025, and he was phenomenal from start to finish. Joe was incredibly communicative, detail-oriented, and genuinely cared about making our ceremony perfect.
Since the Courthouse doesn’t allow public power use, Joe set up an entirely off-grid sound system that worked flawlessly. The lapel microphones blended beautifully with my tuxedo and my wife’s elegant dress, you couldn’t even see them in photos and every guest, even those seated in the very back rows, heard every word clearly.
Joe’s professionalism, expertise, and calm, confident energy made such a difference on our wedding day. We can’t recommend him enough as he’s truly the best in the business.

Our wedding was perfect, and Joe played a massive role in making that happen.
My now wife and I just got married at Zaca Mesa Winery. Joe was our DJ and he did an incredible job. The lighting set up and the way he MC'd the whole flow of the event was perfect. I loved Joe from our first meeting. He was very professional, responsive and helpful. What I appreciated most on our wedding day was how is bottom line was he was for us. There is nothing like feeling supported at such a big event and knowing who is on your team. Joe is on YOUR TEAM. If you want a DJ who will listen, help, add their own razzle dazzle where it is needed, be kind and courteous to any one involved - Joe is your guy. The support he gave before our big day to the actual day was very affirming. Joe was a great DJ! He was very professional and responsive, it was a clear decision for us to have him DJ our wedding. We were even more grateful for the choice once our big day came! He set up the string lights that looked amazing, he listened to our requests for how we wanted the mics for the wedding, made sure everyone heard us during the ceremony, and he did an awesome job keeping the wedding on schedule with the announcements. He was very attentive during the wedding and always accommodated our requests/questions.
Joe also did a great job matching the music to the mood on the dance floor. Many of the guests noted how good he was at changing songs to accommodate the crowd's reactions. His process ahead of our wedding was easy to follow and helped make our day exactly as we planned.

So glad I found this DJ/MC!
I cannot say enough good things about Joe! He was incredible from the very start. When I started reaching out to vendors, specifically DJ's for our homebased wedding, I was met with the surprising denial or unprofessional attitudes from the gate. When Joe, from Professional DJ Services, responded to my inquiry I was hopeful and slightly relieved. But I am so happy with every aspect of his service. He was very responsive in emails and text/calls, he has enormous collection of music, his equipment was spectacular and didn't take up too much space, and best of all he was so great at reading the room and announcing the flow of the evening. I was a little shocked how many guests I had on the dance floor all night but he is truly a professional and made our night so fun!

Absolutely the best wedding DJ!
Joe was the best DJ I could’ve asked for. The dance floor at my wedding was packed and super high energy the whole night and many of my guests said he was a great DJ!
Having a fun party where everyone is on the dance floor was really important to me so I talked to a lot of DJs before I found Joe. No one was really a good fit because they were either too intense, seemed uninterested, or they were way too expensive. From the first conversation, Joe asked us what we wanted and listened to us while also giving input and giving us a clear overview of how the day would play out which was very helpful. And his rates were very reasonable and worth the value.
The process preparing for the wedding was smooth. Joe gave us some forms to fill out and resources on common songs for certain parts of the wedding which was very helpful. Being kind of a type A bride, I gave Joe a pretty long list of songs I wanted played during the reception. Joe listened and played those plus a few more that fit well with the overall vibe. He was also good about watching the crowd and seeing which songs fit best for that particular audience and also grouping songs in a way that made sense.
Overall I was super happy with Joe and had an absolute blast at my wedding on the dance floor all night! I highly recommended him :)

Finding the right DJ the most important aspect in my wedding planning process. The DJ controls the energy of the night and makes sure that all guests feel included and excited to be there. Magical Last Dance
From the beginning Joe was my kind of people. He was helpful to both of us. He took many calls and texts for over a year. He never hesitated with anything we needed. I don’t even know where to start. The speakers were quality and the uplighting and lights were magical. Joe just remembered everything I told him from day one. I could not believe it. The ceremony sounded great, the playlist was beautiful. He had a nice timeline paper at our sweetheart table. Which helped me stay organized. The reception was a blast! Everyone danced the whole time, till the very end. The dance floor was never empty. Most importantly he surprised me with the last dance! Just when I thought the party was over he remembered our song. When I heard it, I started to cry. He even remembered to fit in the send off with another electronic dance song I mentioned. Do not look anywhere else. Joe is humble, low key, personable and very professional.

Joe to the rescue!
Joe was such a great DJ and fulfilled our request at the last minute to come 2 hours earlier than expected as the mariachi band did not end up showing up. He even offered to get us drinks from the bar once we got to the venue; such a good person that shows he loves what he does. We had such a diverse request for music. Everything from hip hop, pop, reggaetón, mariachi, salsa…..and so on. Joe was happy to fulfill those requests on the spot and the transition went so smoothly that everyone had such a great time. I simply cannot say enough great things about hiring Joe as our DJ. I would give him 10 stars if I could!! Joe was extremely easy to work with right from the beginning and got back to me in a very prompt manner. He listened to our plan for music and answered our many questions along the way. On the day of our wedding, we were supposed to be outside for our ceremony and reception. Due to unusually violent winds, we had to move everything inside at the last minute. Even though Joe had already set up his equipment, he was happy to break it down and set it up inside. He even helped us carry and set up our personal items inside. When our timeline changed, he was flexible and was willing to stay longer than we initially discussed. I can't imagine a better DJ and person than Joe!!!

Amazing DJ Experience

Two thumbs up for DJ Joe!!!
My wife and I are not local to the central coast area so we could not rely upon word of mouth recommendations for finding the perfect DJ for our wedding. After scouring the internet and referencing multiple reviews, we picked Joe and are so very happy we did!
Joe was very communicative in the months leading up to the wedding and was very quick to answer all our questions. He is extremely knowledgeable while at the same time a great listener who truly is committed to making sure his client's musical vision is realized for their wedding.
On the day of the wedding, we were blown away by Joe's professionalism and courteousness to all our guests and vendors. He was very easy to work and everything went off without a hitch even though he had never Dj'ed at our venue.

Wedding Fun!
Joe was very professional providing his services for my wedding! He knew it was a very important event in our lives and he took the time to meet with us before hand to go all the logistics. I come from a polish family so I had some unique requests and Joe made sure he had every down before our wedding. I would definitely recommend Joe’s DJ services because by the end of the night, everyone was exhausted from dancing SO much!! Our wedding was pretty amazing and he helped fulfill our evening to the fullest!!

He was understanding about making changes prior to the event, offered a first responder discount for my husband, and was so fun and easy to talk to. The perfect DJ for our wedding
Joe was the DJ at our wedding and he helped us create the perfect event! He was a pleasure to work with and he assisted us with putting together our playlists. He was always willing to offer suggestions and was easy to get a hold of if we needed to ask any questions. We also used Joe’s lighting services, including dance door lights, string lights and cluster tree lights. They were fantastic, offered great value and helped add to the special ambience of the venue. He also has great music knowledge across many different genres and he kept our guests having fun on the dance floor all night long. Thanks Joe!

Joe is such a professional! He is very quick to respond, willing to answer any and all of our questions, and set up a Zoom call to get to know us. I was really looking forward to having him DJ our wedding. Unfortunately due to COVID we had to postpone and Joe was already booked on our new date. Professional DJ who truly cares
DJ Joe was professional, fun, and personable to work with from the beginning. We felt so much more at ease once we spoke to him and told him about what we were looking for with our intimate ceremony. What we really value more is how he worked with us during COVID. While some other vendors were pushy and somewhat greedy, Joe remained understanding and flexible. He's a hard worker and we would book Joe in a heartbeat the next time we want to have an event. There is no doubt he would do a great job!

Well, I was a COVID bride so we obviously had to make some changes from what I had originally planned!. Joe was AMAZING at communicating during the turbulent times. He worked with us when we had to relocate to a venue further away from our original one. He was extremely professional and helped keep our wedding running smoothly. Joe Clemmer did a great job of DJ-ing our wedding! He was responsive in all communications leading up to the wedding, and always willing to work with us to fulfill our wedding vision.
In all conversations he made sure to respond fully to any questions/concerns we had, and the pricing for his services was great. The day of the wedding everything went off without a hitch. He integrated our preferred songs into a great playlist for the dancefloor, timed all the music for the ceremony perfectly and we had a great time!

DJ Joe was amazing! One week before our wedding, the lady who was supposed to coordinate the ceremony quit on us. DJ Joe not only did an awesome job with the music, but stepped up and essentially became our coordinator also! To top it all off, we had a sign in front of our head table that DJ Joe said needed to be eliminated more. So he threw up 2 extra spot lights for us at no charge! We had a hiccup with the flowers right before the ceremony, pushing the start time back by 10 minutes, but Joe had it covered with no problems! Then instead of a last dance, we did a send off song that Joe surprised us with. It was amazing! We had so many special people that stayed until the end and for them to be a part of send off as husband and wife was a perfect end to a perfect day! I will never use another DJ other than Joe!!! He has amazing ideas and knows the traditional ways too!! Truly a Professional DJ Service!!!

I knew from the very first phone call that Joe would be a great choice for our wedding. He was very professional and engaged in our wedding during the entire planning process and was truly invested in making our wedding the best it could be. He nailed it, the entire wedding was a hit and he kept guests on the dance floor ALL night. He even went way above and beyond to find the exact version of some instrumentals I wanted played during the ceremony with very little notice from me.

We got married in June and hired Joe based on his location in relevance to our venue! Boy were we happy we did! During the whole process he was so easy to communicate with and was very responsive. This DJ was on time, professional, full of energy and made our reception a blast. He played the perfect songs at the right times so the dance floor was never empty! We hired Joe as our DJ & MC for our wedding and he was great! We met up with Joe way before the wedding so we could go over his packages and figure out what kind of music we wanted for the big day. He took the time to get to know us and he explained everything into detail. My husband and I didn't know anything about which moments we needed to pick songs for. Joe provided all the help we needed in picking out the music and making sure that our wedding day included all the moments we wanted. His way of interacting with us came off really professional and he made us feel confident about the music arrangement for the wedding.
If we ever had questions, we emailed Joe and we got a quick respons back. His huge music database made no request seem to crazy; he even played some Dutch songs since I am from the Netherlands. Joe was flexible by setting up two music tables (for no extra charge) so we could have music during the ceremony and the reception.
Also he constantly touched base with us during the wedding day so that timeline and the order of events were correctly. Him touching base with us made the day go by smooth because everybody knew what was going to happen.
Overall his way of working was very pleasant and easy. My husband and I never felt stressed or unsure about the music during the wedding day and that's why we would highly recommend Joe!

How can I say enough great things about Joe, HE IS AMAZING. I don't think there was a moment when the dance floor was empty. He played all the right songs to get the crowd moving and everyone had a blast. I had multiple people come up to me later and tell me it was the most fun wedding they have ever been to. Oh my goodness and the lighting!! The uplighting and rope lighting created the perfect atmosphere I was looking for. Joe's prices are extremely competitive as well, I can't imagine finding a better DJ/MC/lighting man for my event. Joe you are the BEST!!!!

In my opinion, finding a DJ is hard because it's not like you can see their work before hand like other vendors like a florist or photographer. Even though we never met Joe before our wedding, I was always confident he would do great since he always had a quick response and answers to all my questions. We had pretty specific music requests and a list of guest song requests, and he did a great job of incorporating all of the music we asked for and supplementing it with songs that were in-line with everything else. He has a huge music library and didn't have a problem playing anything we asked for (and some of it was kind of obscure). Joe was beyond professional and helped make key announcements throughout the wedding to keep the flow going. He also provided a microphone for the officiant and toasts, and gave everyone a quick debriefing on how to use it. One of our guests commented that he did a great job of playing fun music, reading the crowd and adding to the evening with key announcements without talking too much or being cheesy like some DJs can be. I would recommend Joe as a professional, classy DJ who provides excellent value for the investment.

He is extremely well-organized, enthusiastic and has an uncanny ability to identify your music tastes and make highly appropriate selections for your wedding day from ceremony to dinner to dancing. Value for money was superb. He'll also set up market lighting at a very affordable rate if so desired, in addition to up-lights to add to the atmosphere. My husband and I are amazed by how well Joe worked to make our day special. We first met Joe, and knew shortly after that he would be a great match for our wedding. He exceeded our expectation, by bringing extra lights for the cake table, and dance floor. He also included microphones and music for out ceremony which was perfect. All our guest raved about how well Joe kept the dance floor hopping. Though at times we were unorganized, Joe was able to pull off any issue that came about. For instance, my husband forgot to email him the mother and son song. Joe just worked a song in until he found the specific song we were looking for. The whole night was amazing, and everyone enjoyed all the music he played, especially since he was able to throw in some polka's. For all that know what genre that is, you would understand how difficult and how this type of music could change the pace of the reception. Joe was able to keep the flow going and we danced until we dropped. It was an amazing night! I recommend Joe to anyone, which I have already referred him to some of my friends. If we have another large event, I for sure hire Joe again without any hesitation.

Our Dj, Joe Clemmer was amazing from our first meeting to the day of our wedding reception! In our first meeting he was on time, organized and friendly. From our conversations and ideas, you could tell he was experienced and wanting to put together a memorable day for my wife and I! On our wedding day, he certainly made it memorable. Grand entrance was on point as well as the rest of the wedding sequence! Joe kept the dance floor piled with our guests! They loved the song selections that fit our personality and entertained everyone! From our guests, "That was the most fun we have had in a long time!" " Your Dj was great!" We definitely had a great time with everyone that evening! Thank you Joe for making our reception a blast!

Book confidently knowing that Joe is a professional DJ with loads of experience. Joe was a fantastic DJ and MC for our Wedding. He is exceptionally professional and knowledgeable. From our first meeting, my wife and I knew that Joe was the DJ we wanted to hire. He has an incredibly expansive music selection, and if you can think of a song he does not have, he is very capable of finding it. I cannot recommend Joe highly enough.

Joe was absolutely amazing! I knew right after meeting him that he was the right DJ for us because he was very knowledgeable, professional, well-spoken, fun, and creative. He lived up to every expectation we had and then some!
One of the most important parts of planning a wedding is getting a good value and that's definitely a plus for Joe. When you look at DJ/MC pricing, be sure to add up the cost of every little thing they charge for (like renting lights/mics, paying for set up and tear down time, etc...) because Joe's flat rate includes pretty much everything. He is easily one of the best values out there for the personal care and attention he gives. He is also very hands off, you just fill out a few forms and give him some song recommendations and he will take it from there. At the wedding, Joe was just the best. He is a wonderful MC and very well prepared. He was able to handle anything we threw at him last minute (and there were quite a few things!) and I loved that he was really proactive and worked with all of the other vendors to make sure everyone knew what was going on. I honestly can't say enough good things about our experience. My wedding was one of the most special days of my life and Joe played a big part in making the night absolutely perfect for us. Do yourself a favor and meet with him; if you book him it'll be one more thing you can stop stressing about!

Joe was the most amazing DJ ever. Joe did an amazing job keeping the party going and coordinating all of the events during the night. He was so helpful communicating with us throughout the night by letting us know the order of events and accommodating guests with song requests. Joe also strung market lights across an open space at our venue and totally transformed the room – the result was amazing! He exceeded expectations with his service, going above and beyond by accommodating us for our wedding. Joe even changed his insurance policy to fit our venue's last minute specific request. He patiently worked with the venue manager who was incredibly rude and difficult to work with. Not only did he never complain, but he made sure to check in with me and ensure the situation wasn’t stressing me out during the week before the wedding. Joe really is the best DJ and the best person with amazing character. With Joe, you are not getting a showy impersonal vendor. Joe does this because he loves it and not because he has to be there. He really does tailor everything to you and your event. We really cannot rave enough about Joe and the amazing customer service that he provides.

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! Joe was so easy to work with, which reflects on his experience and professionalism. He took the time to meet with us and combined with his planning forms, he understood us as a couple and what we were looking for on our wedding day. We had so many compliments on his lighting, music selection, and overall flow of the wedding! It was absolutely an amazing night and we are thankful he was a part of it! We found Joe with Professional DJ Services online. We hired him to do our September 2016 wedding and we couldn't be happier. He was way more than a DJ, he helped coordinate the night so it ran smoothly, and did an awesome job with everything! The dance floor was full all night and we received multiple compliments from our guests on how awesome he was! If you need a DJ, definitely give Joe a call!!!

My husband and I got married on 7-30-16. We had a decent sized wedding(about 175 guests). Joe was absolutely amazing! Not only did he do an AMAZING job with the music and keeping the party lively and fun, but he helped to coordinate the evening with my photographer and venue staff to make sure that everyone knew what was happening and when, and communicated that information with my husband and I all night. I can't say enough about how wonderful it was to have Joe at our wedding to help make the day even more perfect!

Joe was wonderful to work with. He was punctual and very helpful. Joe is incredibly organized which helps keep a busy bride on track. If you forgot something, he remembered! This is not a vendor whose hand you have to hold, he works with your venue independently so that you don't have to. He's intuitive enough to know when to change up song selections and has just about every song there is! I would recommend Professional DJ Services to anyone! Thank you, Joe!

If you choose to have Joe DJ your event, I can assure you that you won't he disappointed! I cannot say one negative thing about him at all! He went above and beyond to find the obscure song that my now husband and I wanted as our first dance song. Every single song that was requested, was played and my guests seemed to have a blast!!

Joe was the best. Our wedding was very detailed and we had a lot of transitions we planned for. As we met at Starbucks we planned it all out and he was SO happy to go the extra mile. Then on our wedding day it rained and all of our planning had to go to the new plan indoors! Joe was so personal that he said it rained on his wedding day and him and his wife have been happily married. Simple good luck gestures! All Joe wanted to achieve was making our wedding memoriable! I enjoyed him so much and his professionalism was topnotch! I recommend him and was blessed that he cared about our wedding and wanted to make it perfect for us! One of my guests said all songs were a favorite song. I'm so happy because music is so important and Joe made our evening magical!!

We found Joe via Thumbtack.com as he was one of a handful of DJs who responded to our request for a bid. While his pricing was more than fair and extremely competitive, we were particularly impressed with his responsiveness. He clearly had read the details of our request and was careful to address all of our needs re: equipment, timing, and our preferred style. His reviews, like the one I'm writing, were all excellent. Being extra cautious I asked for a reference or two from a past customer and he quickly obliged with a pair of enthusiastic brides for whom he recently DJ'ed.
Because Joe was in Texas and we were in NYC and quite busy and distracted, we actually didn't meet or speak with Joe until the wedding! Even so, Joe was always available to chat or meet had we requested it---we just didn't have time. We did exchange emails, however, and we had given him a pretty good sense of what we wanted. Finally the wedding arrived and I can safely say we had an awesome dance party going in large part due to his efforts. He found the near-perfect blend of songs on our list with songs from his list. And when a song or two went on slightly longer than we preferred, Joe was super perceptive to catch our "kill" sign and deftly transition into the next.
With excellent equipment, tremendous professionalism, and a good intuition about music, we can thoroughly recommend Joe as an event DJ. We couldn't have been happier.

We met with several DJ's before meeting Joe and as soon as we walked through the door we knew this was the man for the job. He is so nice, super organized and very professional. We told him we wanted a fun laid back wedding and to play music people couldn't help but sing and dance to. We asked and he gave! Our dance floor was full for four hours straight! He worked well with our wedding coordinators and he was great with presenting dinner, toasts and the last dance. He was a great find that didn't break the bank or budget. Several of my guests kept commenting on the great playlist and how much fun they were having. Joe is also willing to work with any playlist you give him. Very flexible.

Joe is great DJ and was extremely easy to work with. He's incredibly organized and was always very quick to respond to any questions we had. He worked with us well in advance of our big day to ensure that we had the exact songs that we had asked for. The timing for the songs during the ceremony was absolutely perfect. He also knew when to play subtle background music as needed. The sound quality was exceptional both during the ceremony and wedding. We had an outdoor wedding, yet both the music and the wedding officiant could be heard perfectly by all guests. Bottom line…he ensured that both the reception and ceremony ran smoothly. With all the chaos leading up to and on our big day, we were never once concerned about our DJ which was a huge plus. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ!
