DJ Frank!!!!
Frank & his team rock! They were amazing at our wedding. We provided them with a rough outline of what we wanted to hear and they ran with it. They played all the hits and kept the dance floor full all night. The photo booth was also such a hit! -

Knows how to keep a party going!!!
I don't even know where to start. Alex is awesome. He knows how to get a feel for the crowd and keep the party going. There were no odd moments of silence at our reception where our guests were trying to figure out what's next.
His communication is fantastic. His client profile sheet is outstanding, very organized, and the fact that you can make payments online is so useful. I what used him for lighting and the chandelier above the dance floor was a nice touch.
I got nothing but compliments on our wedding. I can't thank Alex enough!!! -

Alex made our daughter's reception the best party ever!
Alex spent lots of time with our daughter and her fiance to learn what music they liked, and he nailed it. The dance floor was ALWAYS full! People keep telling us it was the best wedding they've been to. He was friendly, professional and very easy to work with. I wouldn't hire anyone else. -

The best day!
Let’s start off by saying Alex was amazing! He was so attentive and really took the time to make sure my husband and I were taken care of and also getting to know us. He played all of the music/style we requested for the wedding. Everything was absolutely perfect in every way and if anybody ever needs a Dj I will always recommend primetime! Again thank you for your amazing talent and helping us plan our perfect wedding! -

Alex was the absolute best DJ we could of asked for. Alex also did our lighting which was absolutely beautiful and made everything look so magical. Alex also did our photo booth and our guests had so much fun with it. He really played a big role in making our wedding a night to remember. Alex is very easy to work. You will not regret hiring him. Pricing was great too ! Looking forward to next time we need a DJ cause we will know exactly who to call. -

Great entertainer with lighting and rental options
DJ Alex, ceo of prime time is an amazing entertainer who kept our wedding party going all night! Our guests had so much fun and danced all night. He has a great mix of keeping the crowd up and going, but not over talking! He did my sisters wedding, and then mine as well! We started planning before covid hit and we met up to discuss contracts and our idea of a good party. Once covid hit, we met virtually through zoom. He was always there for us. He came to our rehearsal dinner to make sure he was set up correctly for ceremony and reception. AMAZING experience overall!! -

My wedding was during covid and Alex was so flexible with everything!!! He was so helpful, really cool to talk to and such a cool guy! His music is the best! I told him a few people and genres I liked and he killed it!!! The dance floor was packed the entire night! It was my dream wedding and it was all thanks to Primetime!!! The only DJ I will ever hire!
Working with DJ Alex was so fun and simple. Although he does let you put your whole “playlist” together if you want, we just gave him a list of maybe 10 songs that we liked and he built our whole night from that. Every song he chose was exactly what we wanted! All of our family loved him and they were digging all of his song choices.
Not only was he the best and most experienced DJ, but he also helped us navigate through the night of the wedding by bringing things to our attention that we would have never thought about. He has done so many weddings that he just knows what to look out for!

The perfect wedding DJ!
I can't imagine having a better wedding DJ than what we got with Alex. From our first meeting, everything was seamless and meticulously planned via a user-friendly guest portal, giving us confidence that every detail would be exactly what we wanted. The actual ceremony and reception were flawless - Alex was a fantastic, energetic MC and the DJing was on point. The music selection and DJ skills were perfect and the dancefloor was packed for the ENTIRE ceremony!! Would definitely recommend!! -

Best DJ Around
Alex is THE BEST DJ and would highly recommend him for your wedding. He kept the dance floor packed all night and we received so many compliments about the music at our wedding. Our guests didn't want to leave the dance floor! He also did bistro lighting for us that looked beautiful (at the Kellogg House venue). His pricing is fair, and he really listened to what my husband and I wanted for the music & timeline at our wedding. A couple of my friends at the wedding even asked him for his business card for their weddings- he is THAT good. Highly recommend. -

Absolutely Amazing
We book prime time music through our wedding venue: The Kellogg House in Pomona. They were one of the preferred vendors. Alex was absolutely amazing! He made sure all our needs were met and he helped out as much as he could. Everyone at our wedding absolutely loved him! I am so glad we chose him for our wedding, i don’t know anyone better! He is the best person to get the party started! Thank you Alex and your team for such an unforgettable and amazing time! -

Alex was a fantastic DJ to work with. My husband and I are very particular about our music goals and our ceremony music was not the easiest to time out for my entrance, but Alex did a great job at clarifying with me before the big day to make sure everything he did was to my liking.
He and his team were well-dressed the day of, had smiles on their faces and executed our event without a hitch! HIGHLY recommend!!! -

Alex was amazing! He was the DJ at our wedding and I will use him again and again for any future parties! I told Alex that I wanted the dance floor packed all night and he made sure that happened! Alex played a great mixture of music that kept guests of all ages happy and on the dance floor. I provided Alex with a list of songs that my husband and I really liked for different times throughout the day (cocktail hour, dinner hour, and dancing). Alex played many of our songs but read the crowd and mixed in plenty that weren't on our list that he knew would keep people dancing. Alex did a great job maintaining the flow of the evening and was not overbearing- I've been to some weddings where the DJ seems to think they've also been hired to be a comedian...not Alex! He keeps everything running smoothly in a very professional and classy way. Alex was kind enough to give my husband and I a teacher/first responder discount which is always such a nice gesture and was much appreciated. I received so many compliments from my guests about Alex and I truly can't compliment him enough myself! -

Alex and his team were beyond perfect and professional for our wedding. We had conducted several interviews with DJ/MCs individually as well as large companies prior, but once we spoke with Alex, we knew he was our guy. He was very willing to travel and met we us several times to prior to the event to make sure everything was going perfect. He kept us both involved with all selections. The lighting was romantic and elegant which maid our perfect day magical. The photo booth was fun, all my family and friends enjoyed it. As we were planning our wedding everyone stressed how important a DJ was. I looked and searched and boy was I happy that I found Alex. He is AMAZING at what he does, he listens to you and what music you love and want to hear. Our wedding was SO FUN! And I am not saying this just because I was the bride and it was my wedding but I even had friends come up to me and tell me how fun and how awesome the Dj was, It has been over a month since our wedding and we still have guests talking!! I have a friend that practically gets invited to every wedding there is and he said " your wedding was so much fun it was the most fun I have ever had at a wedding!" Alex is great. His motto isn't just to sell and get gigs but he wants you to pick the right DJ for your day. Simply AMAZING! you will not go wrong with Alex, and his price...was GREAT!! I got married going on a year, and we still get compliments on our wedding. Most of the comments was how there dance floor was always full of people and how much they enjoyed them selfs. DJ Alex was amazing, he kept the party going, he was very attentive to our needs and was so perfessional. My husban and i ahve two sons together and he made sure as well as us to keep them as a big part of our day. Our sons loved him. Our 6 year old was on the dance floor all night and our 9 year old love the photo booth. I would recommend him for any event.

My husband and I can't say enough about the services rendered by Alex! We interviewed four vendors and decided to hire Alex to MC and DJ at our wedding. We felt connected right away and he meet all our needs from classic rock to marengue to cumbias to freestyle to old disco to the Beatles and top 20 music! He is definitely well rounded! His MC ability flowed throughout the night. He was professional. Prior to the wedding, he responded quickly and accommodated our needs. He was very punctual and dressed very nice; all speakers and DJ turn table was setup and ready to start for our celebration. Alex Morales demonstrated complete professionalism, communication, great music, and excitement at our wedding!
We are very grateful for the DJ/MC service, and lighting service Alex provided at our wedding. Alex successfully engaged the crowd during the different segments of the wedding. He has great communication skills as an MC. He worked in the music from our guest singers. He played all of the music we requested and more. He provided beautiful lighting in the room. The sound system was great.
During our wedding preparation (weeks prior to our wedding), we met with Alex to review the Wedding day reception timeline and details. He listened to all of our requests and also provided suggestions. In addition, days prior to the wedding, Alex kept in touch with us to review the Wedding reception timeline again and to go over any last minute details/requests.
Prior to our own wedding day, we met and worked with Alex 8 months ago at another wedding in Long Beach. We were assisting as wedding coordinator at that wedding and we were very impressed with the DJ/MC service he provided. He works and communicates very well with the wedding coordinator and other wedding vendor staff. Eight months later, we hired Alex to DJ our own wedding in San Diego and are very pleased.
We recommend Alex (and PrimeTime Music) to be your DJ/MC at your wedding or next special event.

Alex, I can't Thank You Enough for sending me such a Professional, Awesome, Fantasia, Personal, Hardworking, He can really read the crowd, DJ (Carlos). This wedding reception ran very smooth. Carlos is an asset to your company, very professional. This is the very first time that when I have had a party, of any kind, that I had No Complaints about the Music. I even had my guest asking about what company I had hire and how did I hear about you. I highly recommend Carlos to anyone having a wedding reception, birthday party, really any kind of events. I know that If I ever have any kind of Celebration I will Definitely call you and ask for Carlos. My crowd was from 87 years old down to a new born baby. He got everyone out on the floor dancing and everyone had a great time, this is because of the DJ Carlos. Hats off to you!!!!! Alex was great! He was very professional, knows exactly what he's doing, and was very helpful. Alex knew exactly how to blend the music, with keeping everyone entertained with like cake cutting and bouquet toss, and kept everything seamless, without being in the foreground too much. The music selection was just what I wanted, too, and he was very helpful with suggestions and planning for the night. Great DJ!! -

We cannot say enough about how great of a job our DJ did at our wedding reception. He was set up and ready to go before our guests showed up. He played a great selection of music and kept people on the dance floor. All the songs we requested for various parts of the reception were played on time exactly how we requested them. Alex was very sociable and professional in every part of the job. We heard numerous comments throughout the night about the quality of the sound, the songs played, and the overall setup and presentation. We would highly recommend him and his company to anybody looking for a wedding DJ. -

Our DJ was very punctual and setup his equipment on time for the ceremony to begin. He was extremely flexible with our music selection and was able to play songs on request during the reception. I would highly recommend this DJ. -

Primetime Music & Entertainment are fun and professional! Meeting up with Alex & DJ Alfonso you can tell right away they have a strong passion with music and entertainment. They guided us on the timeline for the wedding, helped us make suggestions on some music, and got you hyped up during the planning. DJ Alfonso and Jose arrived on time and dressed up. The DJ booth was incredible, the whole night was flawless, they were professional and kind, and the music choices were perfect. There was never a moment the dance floor was empty. It's been almost a month since our wedding, and I still get compliments from family and friends on how amazing the wedding and music was. Thanks Alex, Alfonso, and Jose!

Alex was great to work with. After one meeting we felt confident in our choice to hire him. He is extremely personable, and we could tell from his music suggestions that he would play well to our audiences - 20s and 30s, baby boomers, and some grandmas. At our meeting, we talked about striking the right balance of DJ talk on the dance floor, and he sounded like he knew just how to strike that balance. And, he did. He got the party going, and then let us dance, dance, dance. The dance floor was not empty the entire night. He also did a wonderful job lighting a somewhat difficult room with different colored walls. He worked hard to make sure every detail was right. I really appreciated his time and effort. -

Entertainment is key to a successful party. We definitely made the right choice with primetime music. Alex was great all throughout the process. From our firSt meeting to the one right before where we finalized details, he was very patient and paid attention to the bits and pieces we wanted for the wedding. He kept a great vibe going on throughout the reception. Was flexible with any last minute changes just to keep everything flowing smoothly. There was a good mix of music for all ages, which kept the people dancing through most of the party. Uplighting was also great, as he customizes the color accdg to your on wedding theme. this added some ambience despite the pArty taking place in the afternoon,in a bright ballroom. Highly recommended. We had an easy and good experience with alex, which you really want in a vendor especially during the stress of planning a wedding! -

ALEX M is a great bilingual Eng/Spanish DJ. Alex M. was an awesome Dj kept the party going all night on my wedding day. From the moment we met Alex, he was professional,fun and easy going. He is very organized, knows his music,many yeats of experience and responsed quickly to emails. On his Web, he has music u can choose / timeline which made it stress free. The lighting/ sound system/ custom Gobo were awesome! His pricing was really reasonble compared to other Dj companies. All my guest raved about how much fun they dancing & partying. Our wedding couldn't have been the wonderful experience without Alex Morales. He's one of the most professional people we know and most of all fun. He customized our wedding music to go with our vintage theme and went far and beyond and also was the MC and let me tell you, it was no easy task since we had spanish and english speaking guest, he translated announcements and made everyone feel included and most of all it was a blast for everyone! Sofia and I didn't realize how vital and crucial it was in selecting the right DJ in order to have a memorable and successful wedding reception. I personally just figured it couldn't be that complicated or difficult to play a list of songs and pay attention to the reception's guests and events. However it's not that simple. Alex Morales organized and executed every song, order of events, and tempo of the party from start to finish. Alex was very detailed, flexable, and professional. Alex is a very professional, attentive and talented DJ. He was highly recommended, however still when it is your own personal wedding you have hesitations. We have attended weddings, that were beautiful, but if the DJ is not phenomenal then the crowd doesn't have a great time. He delivered everything he promised, he kept a timeline, and was very organized. He pronounced the Wedding Party's names correctly, ( everyone's for that matter)

It was a pleasure working with you Alex...Everything went as planned and very smooth...Everyone came up to me and said how much they enjoyed the music..Even one time the young were dancing and you changed the song and they all looked at you and you said I know I get it and changed to their style of music. It was quite a success I feel.
They only thing forgotten was telling the people to take home the center pieces but I made sure every one took them home.

My hubby and I loved our DJ (Alex Morales) of PrimeTime Music & Entertainment! We were referred to him by our wedding planner, Chara Swodeck of Open Box Designs.
What we loved about Alex is that he was nice, professional, great personality, always cheery and very easy to work with. Every time we met up with Alex, he always wore a great big smile and you can really see he loves what he does. When it came to choosing music for our wedding, he made is so very easy. Alex created a special account for us that linked us up with his ridiculously huge library of songs that were organized and categorized by genre, artist, and also popular songs that were used for: First Dances, Father-Daughter & Mother-Son dances. As well as lists of popular songs for the cake cutting, bouquet toss, garter toss etc.
We loved that he was able to get a hold of some songs off the Hangover Soundtrack (mine and my husband's favorite movie ever) and use them for different parts within our reception. For example, he was able to get us the Candy Shop song performed by Dan Finnerty and the Dan Band. We used this song during the time my hubby removed the garter from my leg. LOL! Fun times!!!
He also did a wonderful job doing the up lighting and found a nice gobo light to fit the theme of our wedding. Our reception site looked gorgeous!
I have to say Alex did a great job of playing an awesome array of music and how our guests up and dancing! We even had the conga line/train up and going. We truly had the time of our lives on our wedding day!!!
BTW, Alex also did our friend's wedding recently (9/24/11) and again he did an awesome job!
Hands down, I totally recommend Alex to DJ your next event. :) -

The DJ was wonderful. Very personable and tailored everything to our needs. I'm mexican and my husband is from the south...and the DJ did a great job in playing a variety of music. My biggest fear is that no one would dance at my reception and the DJ had everyone booging down the entire night. Amazing DJ!
From the music to the lighting and photobooth, Alex and his wife kept the party alive at our wedding. Alex played all our favorite songs requested and even accommodated guests on songs of their selection. Alex brought such positive energy, which was needed during these tough times. He did such a great job of reading the crowd and guiding the music to what was needed. He made our outdoor wedding look like a wedding at a venue by setting up string lighting and multi-colored uplighting. His wife worked the photo booth which was a huge hit with guests. He kept us right on our timeline by doing an amazing job as an MC. He remained flexible and positive during our whole planning process. Complements poured in all night by my guests for Alex. Alex and his team are a definite must-have for any event or wedding. I would highly recommend Alex to anyone. -

Professional, enthusiastic, and fun!
Alex was so great at our wedding and before! He insists on a first meeting in person which helps to understand if his vibe and personality works with ours. His client site where clients are able to pick songs and plan the reception details is easy to use and helped me a lot with keeping track of how we wanted the reception to go. He is prepared with his own selections but always takes into account or uses your own preferences in music. My only critique is that he can get busy so he was not always able to get back to questions and communications, in the time leading to the wedding, right away but he always got back with an answer. We also got our lighting through him and he gave us a great deal that looked beautiful! He was early for set up and did our ceremony as well, ready with the songs we picked for the processional and mics for duration of the ceremony. At the wedding he was fun and he announced all of the events with enthusiasm and his timing with what music to play to keep the dancing going was great! We had a small wedding of a little over 50 people so keeping the dancing going can be challenging but he managed it well. I had a lot of fun at my wedding and all of my guests did as well and that is in large part thanks to Alex! -

My husband and I worked with Alex for our wedding. We gave him some guidance about the feel we were hoping for but Alex made the night even better. Everyone danced the whole night, the older crowd loved the Sinatra style dinner music, and Alex happily downloaded many Turkish songs for my husband's family and friends. It was an eclectic mix but somehow worked so well! Alex also provided some bistro lighting to our venue which really added to the already beautiful setting. Would definitely recommend Alex and Primetime Music -

Alex did an amazing job at our wedding. Starting from our ceremony all the way to our last dance. He made everything way more special for both my husband and I. He’s so easy to work with and makes sure that everyone has a great time ! He also provided my bistro light which I absolutely loved it made our wedding much more romantic. If I had to do it again I will choose Primetime Music again. -

The music and lighting provided by Primetime were perfect. Our guests loved every tune that came up. We did not give much in the way of guidance, other than a lot of 70s funk and soul, and Alex ran with it and did a great job.
The lighting was beautiful, especially once it became dark out, and turned out great in photos. -

Alex was extremely professional and dependable. He made my experience pleasant and stress free. He listened to what I wanted and did exactly as I asked. He was able to feel the crowd and keep them dancing all nigh long. I would highly recommend him and would definitely use his services again.

DJ Alex Morales was extremely professional and very helpful. He made sure that everything at my ceremony was running on time and when we needed to move the order of some things he was very flexible and understanding. Alex was also a wonderful DJ, he was able to read the crowd and tell what music they liked so that he could continue to play that style of music to keep the party going. My wedding was a success in large part to my wonderful DJ! :) -

I loved that we can pay online and see all of our song line up with no problems. I also loved that we weren't pressured or uncomfortable with our dj Alex Morales. All of our guest loved our music selection he did a great job mixing the many different types of music that we like and making it flow. -

COVID Wedding take 3
Alex was a great DJ on our wedding day. I had to go through 3 cancellations this past year and thankfully, Alex was flexible with dates and keeping the same pricing. It was a little difficult to get ahold of him at times, but due to everything constantly changing and peoples lives getting turned upside down, I just stayed patient. When it was crunch time, we definitely were on schedule and able to put everything together. Alex helped guide my now Husband and I on how weddings are like, and all the different songs used that I didn't even know of! (ex. cake cutting music). I think it helped bring the party alive. I made sure the day of my wedding I tried to stay on the dance floor as long as I could. My walk down music was perfect. He came to our rehearsal and timed out the music and asked questions. It was great! He tried to get everyone on the dance floor (my in laws were a tough crowd, they're very shy) but the effort was good! All I know is that we danced until we couldn't walk! My feet forgave me eventually. Thanks Alex! -

We've received great advice from friends who have had bad experiences. Primarily due to the fact some DJs think they "know" better and play music the DJ likes instead. Alex was extremely attentive to the taste in music we like. In addition, when it came down for people to unwind and dance, Alex picked up on our demographic and chose music that resonated with our wedding guests. In addition to music, Alex made it really easy to coordinate lighting and had our best interest at heart and worked well with our budget. Our venue coordinators raved about Alex and we're happy we went with their recommendation. -

We really enjoyed working with Alex Morales and PrimeTime Entertainment. His online system for selecting music and making payments made our lives so much easier! He was very easy to work with and did a great job managing our tough crowd (wide age ranges, eclectic musical tastes, non-dancers, etc.) We had a blast! The music didn't overpower the dinner conversation, either, as other DJ's do. He also did a great job with the decor -- the uplights made the room pop. -

Not Worth the $
*We contacted Alex after our wedding and never received a response*
When we hired Alex, we were under the impression that he would be our dj. From our initial conversation with him to the way our venue spoke about him being the one to dj events to reading online reviews, there was no indication that we would be paying for someone else to dj. When we realized in the last month that a different dj had been assigned to our wedding, we were disappointed but hopeful that they would be just as great as what we'd heard about Alex. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the services we received on our wedding day.
Every part of our ceremony was messed up, despite meeting with our assigned DJ (Carlos) on Zoom the week before, clearly listing everything on the gigbuilder website, and having our day of wedding coordinator present (as well as having multiple zoom meetings with Alex). The entrance song for the parents, grandparents, best men and groom played for only 8 seconds after which it changed to the song that was meant for the processional. This confused the bridal party and the people entering and disappointed the groom as that was the one song he was looking forward to being played at the ceremony. At the end of our ceremony, there was no exit song playing. We walked back down the aisle awkwardly in silence. Those are moments we can't get back, and it's frustrating because we got no explanation from Carlos on what went wrong other than him coming up to us after and apologizing saying he couldn't see, which didn't seem like much of an excuse. After our grand entrance, the song just kept playing and we didn't know what we were supposed to do for the next two minutes before our first dance song played. That's not what we had discussed in our meeting. During our reception, there was a two minute period of screeching coming from the speakers (no music was playing at the time). I'm not sure why that occurred. There was no explanation. When one of my bridesmaids tried to request a song, she was told "we don't do that," but when another guest requested a song, it was played. This made my bridesmaid feel singled out, especially in the context of what I explain in the next paragraph.
Finally, there was a miscommunication between our venue regarding the time we needed to remove our stuff from the bridal suite. We were supposed to have it until the end of the night, but during the reception, Carlos informed one of my bridesmaids that they needed to remove our stuff immediately while dinner was being served. The venue has already apologized and refunded us for the bridal suite fee for this miscommunication, but we do not understand why Carlos was involved. Carlos told my sister that cleaning up the bridal suite was an urgent matter that needed to be dealt with now or our stuff would be confiscated. My sister and the rest of the bridal party were very upset as they hadn't even had a chance to eat a bite of their dinners yet. And again, this was actually an error, and we still do not know where Carlos got that information from or why he took it upon himself to give out orders. It was inappropriate for Carlos to be so aggressively enforcing orders for a venue he doesn't work for. So while we were trying to enjoy our dinner, we were confronted by my crying bridesmaids who said that the dj was yelling at them about the bridal suite. Even if it was somehow his responsibility to relay information, this was not the way to do it. It ruined a large portion of our night as we had to turn our attention to comforting the upset bridal party and dealing with people feeling uncomfortable with the dj. (It took most of the dinner hour to clear out this bridal suite and many items were lost in the chaos, including my phone, our marriage certificate, my wallet, etc. So not only did it impact our wedding dinner hour, we had to spend two hours after the wedding frantically calling people searching for my phone and wallet which I needed to board our honeymoon flight the next morning)
Alex was wonderful and great in all of our meetings, but he was not the dj for our big day, and the actual services we paid for fell short and honestly ruined portions of our wedding day. -
