We met Luba right after we got engaged and worked with her leading up to our original May 2020 wedding date. She continued to help us through multiple reschedules until our eventual May 2022 wedding. Luba was terrific at helping us stay on track with our budget, picking the right vendors, and making sure the whole process was fun. We wanted a traditional Jewish wedding, so it was important to us to find someone familiar with all the traditions and rituals!
Prior to planning our wedding, we always thought of a wedding planner as an extravagant extra for over-the-top weddings. Yet, given our time restraints – we thought it might be necessary. We quickly came to realize how smart that decision was. Not only did Luba help us work within our budget, but she also made sure the whole process was fun and the wedding exceeded our expectations. Luba introduced us to amazing vendors whose prices were more competitive than those we found ourselves. She also negotiated contracts on our behalf and helped us effectively prioritize where to cut and spend money. Having her organize last minute details and communicate with vendors in the days and weeks leading up to the wedding allowed us to focus on our families and enjoy the wedding. -

Outstanding and worry free celebration
I just noticed that Primavera Dreams is celebrating its anniversary. By coincidence, we are spending some quality time at home with the family and got to reminiscing.
In July of last year, though it seems decades ago, Luba has organized my husband’s, Alex Karpovsky, round-number birthday celebration in Italy.
To say that it was impeccable is to say nothing about it. By Primavera’s measures, it was not a large celebration - around sixty guests and two full days of festivities. But for us, when we started the preparation it seemed absolutely daunting.
How do you get together people from half a dozen countries all over the world? Many of them have never met each other. How do you make sure they enjoy their time together? And, by the way, the budget we had was (very) far from unlimited.
Well, looking back it still seems amazing that Luba was able to get it all together and made it look simple in the process. Even during the celebration itself every minute felt like fun times - and none (except for sudden onslaught of mosquitos during an open-air cocktail hour - but the spray did help) felt like fighting emergencies or straining to get things right.
Of course the location - Lago Maggiore in Italy - is gorgeous and inviting to begin with. But there are lots of choices and actions that could’ve gone wrong. Luba led us every step of the way - from choosing the right venue among many highly variable options to play-by-play entertainment and through every detail including the choice of flowers and the right photographer.
Every time I think back on the festivities I smile and the quarantine seems just a little less painful when we reminisce.
We hope - no we are sure - that there will be another family celebration in Italy and Primavera Dreams will be there for us to make it memorable and enjoyable.

I can’t imagine most grooms taking the lead when it comes to planning a wedding. In fact, I would personally shake the hand of the man who is able to make final decisions about tablecloth colors, flower arrangements or centerpiece styles.
A groom is also probably not the one in charge of creating a scrupulous financial plan of expenses for this and that. Usually the couple’s parents take care of this aspect, but in my case, these duties fell to my fiancé Irina and our wedding planner, Luba Gankin of Primavera Dreams.
At all pre-wedding meetings, I nodded with a serious look, amazed at our planner’s speed and ability to navigate a multitude of planning challenges. Even though Italy is so far away, we had the impression that it was right there in Luba’s capable hands! She was extremely
knowledgeable about Italian culture, and had myriad connections with Italian vendors and venues. Luba’s planning arsenal has absolutely everything one could want for their wedding; as if by magic, she made all of our wedding dreams a reality!
Indeed, my wife and I still describe that day as “perfect.” Luba went above and beyond to craft an incredible experience for us and our guests, always going the extra mile to satisfy even the most specific requests (for example, securing an antique baby crib for our newborn daughter). We try to make time every day to look at the stunning wedding photos!
I can certainly say that anyone looking to tie the knot should get in touch with Luba as soon as possible! If you are looking to celebrate your love and unite your lives in Italy, or New England, embark on your wedding planning adventure with Primavera Dreams! -

As soon as we discovered Primavera Dreams, we knew our dream of getting married in Florence could be a reality. Being from the U.S., we faced some skepticism from our families when we first started talking about a destination wedding in Italy but fast forward 18 months and now they can't stop talking about how it was the most epic family vacation / wedding that they had ever been to! We couldn’t have done it without Luba. She truly became like a third mom to us (in the best way possible). She is all about creating an experience, not just for the wedding but for the entirety of the planning process. She even came on our venue hunting trip with us one year before the wedding date. I was VERY much a type-A bride and Luba was always quick to respond to my many emails, no matter what I threw at her. We ended up having more guests RSVP ‘yes’ than we initially expected and our wedding of 80 quickly grew to 110 but Luba wasn’t phased by any of the changes and thankfully had her associate, Dina, to help as a second hand. When it came time for the wedding weekend, I felt like I was actually able to relax and truly enjoy the happiest couple of days while Luba and Dina took care of EVERYTHING (coordinating transportation with bus drivers, putting down placecards, favors - to name a few of the 1000 things they did that day). Grazie mille to Luba and Dina for the wedding EXPERIENCE of our dreams! -

We are so so happy we hired Luba to help plan our daughter's wedding this September!
We wanted to do it in our own backyard on the Cape and we didn't have any idea how to start. Luba met with us a number of times and recommended vendors; explained the wedding "flow" and what we need to think about.
All her recommendations turned out to be super-valuable and we ended up hiring all of her suggested vendors.
Luba was very attentive to details and answered all of our questions either in person, by phone or email.
She was there on rehearsal to make sure the wedding party knows what to do!
And of course, Luba was the Leader of the wedding day! She made sure everything was set up right at the ceremony and later at the reception; she announced the speeches, dances and coordinated with the caterer and DJ the smooth flow of the wedding.
We would highly recommend Luba for your wedding!! Couldn't be happier! -

We feel so lucky to have found Primavera Dreams! We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into when we decided to host a nearly 200-person Russian-Jewish wedding in my family's Cape Cod backyard - but Luba came to the rescue! She worked closely with us through our year-long engagement to think through every detail, from major vendors to heel protectors for people who wore stilettos in the grass. Luba is proactive, lighting fast to respond, and has a very calming effect on a stressed out bride. She also quickly understood our vision to host a literary-themed wedding and made creative suggestion for how to entertain our guests. More than anything, Luba has an invaluable network of vetted, professional, wonderful, flexible, well-priced vendors that help you navigate the otherwise overwhelming wedding vendor marketplace. She found us our photographer (amazing), hair & make-up (so talented), DJ (unbelievable combination of DJ, live singing, and live saxophone!), videographer (great and had a drone), luxury outdoor toilets, and tent company (so professional). Every single one of these vendors was FANTASTIC on every level, and we cannot be more thankful that Luba found them for us! Because Luba is bilingual, we also asked her to MC the wedding since we had a Russian & American crowd. We felt so comfortable having her lead the evening because she knew every single detail. When unexpected things happened (electricity briefly went out in the caterer's tent so the entree got delayed), Luba checked with me and tweaked the evening's schedule on the fly so that none of the guests noticed. I absolutely recommend her services without hesitation if you're looking for a professional, organized thought partner, coordinator and planner on your wedding journey! We'll always be thankful to Luba for helping us pull off the PERFECT day! -

Primavera is terrific!
Primavera is terrific. Our wedding planner, Luba, guided us through the process, took care of all kinds of details, and on the day of the wedding quietly made sure that everything went perfectly. In the months before the wedding, she had countless helpful suggestions, gave us great advice, provided great professionals and introductions, and took a lot of the stress out of the process. I can't recommend Primavera highly enough and Luba is a delight to work with. -

My husband and I can't say enough about Luba. From the beginning, Luba has been there for us as a consistently reliable source of knowledge, advice, comfort, and organization. We had already picked our big vendors - venue, catering, photographer, florist, music - by the time we met Luba. We had found ourselves managing crazy work schedules, without the time needed to devote to finding smaller vendors and working on the details that really bring a wedding to life. We looked into a few different planners, but we knew from our first meeting that we wanted to work with Luba. Her care and attention to us as a couple and calm demeanor showed us instantly that Luba was exactly what we needed. Throughout the wedding planning process and now beyond the wedding itself, Luba has been there for us for the smallest of questions to helping sort out last minute vendor changes. Luba stayed on top of the wedding coordination and timeline when we didn't have time to, working on our behalf behind the scenes and looping us in for decisions when needed. Luba even attended one of my final dress fittings in downtown Boston so that she could learn how to bustle my dress. Where we most needed help was the wedding weekend itself, and Luba's contributions to the weekend were above and beyond. Luba stayed at a hotel near our venue the weekend of and was a calming, helpful source for everyone involved. From coordinating with vendors, to assisting the florist in the set-up on the day of (who later told us she could not have completed it all without Luba!), to making sure everything was easy and magical for my husband and I, Luba really made the weekend an incredibly beautiful experience for all involved. We feel that we now have a friend gained from the process, and are looking forward to staying in touch with Luba. We can't recommend her enough! -
Danielle Sent on 07/28/2018We just came back to Toronto from our magical wedding near Florence, Italy and had the pleasure of having Luba as our Tuscan Wedding Planner. We worked with Luba for 1.5 years and she was excellent! Extremely organised, offered many beautiful options and couldn't have executed the day any better. Luba was a lifesaver, making sure we got things done on time and was great at mediating the different opinions between my husband and I (which is VERY important when planning a wedding!!). She was always available for a chat, and answered our emails and messages promptly. Luba is very intelligent, well educated, speaks multiple languages ( English, Russian and Italian and perhaps more!) and most importantly has a strong passion in her role as a Wedding Planner! I strongly feel her dedication, extreme diligence and passion are exactly what any couple would be looking for to help create their magical day at home or abroad :)

Arcady Sent on 07/04/2018My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Luba to plan our Italian coastal wedding. It was a daunting task, to say the least. We're busy professionals living in San Francisco, and about four years ago we fell in love with the Amalfi Coast in Italy. After getting engaged, we searched all over for wedding locations -- California, Hawaii, even Boston. No matter where we looked, we kept thinking of our magical vacation in Ravello. We needed help, and a lot of it. Thankfully, we were introduced to Luba, who specializes in planning destination weddings in Italy. We were incrediby fortunate to have done so. Her knowledge of the area, her professionalism, and her care & understanding for our needs were all above and beyond either of our expectations. From scoping out and picking the location of our rehearsal dinner, to interfacing with boat charter companies, to negotiating prices with Italian-speaking drivers, she did it all. Every time we spoke with her, the inevitable anxiety of a wedding continued to subdue until we felt confident of a genuinely magical experience. And at the end of the day, that is exactly what it was. I cannot recommend Luba highly enough -- she will make your Italian wedding a thing of dreams.

Irina Sent on 10/17/2017We were lucky to meet Luba during our preparations for Bar Mitzvah. Luba guided us from "not-knowing much" to a very joyful stress-free celebration. She suggested a bunch of great vendors, photographers, bakeries and what's mostly important, she explained dos/dont's and what's in-style and expected. That helped a lot because our oldest child BM was 14 years ago. Our son's friends from school said that it was the best BM they've attended (even though we didn't break the bank).

At this spectacular Tuscan wedding, I had the honor of leading the huppah ceremony. This gave me the opportunity not only to observe Luba’s work but to closely collaborate with Primavera Dreams during the preparation and execution phases of this epic event. Given my role, my assessment is not only that of a guest or a client but of a colleague.
Luba confidently managed the three-day wedding that consisted of multiple events spread over the big territory of Villa Vignamaggio as well as other regions of Tuscany (the terrain was stunning but added another level of challenge moving people and stuff around). She dealt with a sizable and diverse crowd of guests coming from all over of the globe and an army of service providers switching between customs and languages on the fly (her command of Italian was certainly a resource!). While working tirelessly Luba never stopped being friendly and classy. She was always ready to give a piece of advice but in a delicate and accommodating way. Luba really helped to create the most joyful event that Villa Vignamaggio has seen since the filming of Much Ado About Nothing on its grounds. I can say with certainty: Primavera (the spring) Weddings is good for ALL seasons.
