My husband and I had a great experience working with Keshia one month out from our wedding. She was always ready to answer questions and helped our vision for our day come to life so beautifully. We are still getting so much love and compliments from guests on how amazing they thought our wedding was and Keshia played a huge role in that. Even on the day of one of my bridesmaids had a dress emergency, and Keshia ensured she had the right dress to wear for the ceremony. We are so grateful to her for all her hard work! -

For any bride or mother of the bride involved in planning a wedding, having a wedding coordinator ensures that you and your family can be fully present and enjoy every moment. Choosing Pride in Planning was, without a doubt, the best decision we made for our daughter’s wedding. Dr. Keshia Pride’s experience and calm demeanor created a stress-free atmosphere that made the entire process enjoyable and smooth. The weekly calls 30 days out were especially helpful to make sure we were on track for a successful wedding day experience. During these calls, she made recommendations on how to best incorporate various experiences into the ceremony and reception from a timing and flow perspective. This took a huge weight off our shoulders.
The morning of the wedding, my daughter texted in a panic—one bridesmaid had the wrong color dress. Her girls flew to the wedding from various places across the country and somehow a mishap occurred with the dress color with one of the bridesmaids. She contacted Keshia who immediately acted, sending her team to handle set-up while she went to the nearest David’s Bridal – one hour from the wedding venue. The store opened at 10:30 and the wedding was at 2:00 pm. She found a dress that was close enough and was able to get back to the venue in time for the photos which started at 1 pm. This was truly above and beyond the call of duty! I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed working with her. Her attention to detail and dedication gave us true peace of mind, allowing us to focus on celebrating. If you are looking for a wedding coordinator who is experienced, dependable, personable, and willing to go the extra mile, I highly recommend Pride in Planning.

I am so thankful we hired Keshia! Although we initially only booked day of coordinator services, she went above and beyond her duties and was always available for any questions we had. She put my husband and I at ease during our wedding day when an issue (out of her control) occurred and was able to work around it. We also rented decor from her, and the way she decorated made the venue space even more beautiful than we imagined. We would definitely recommend her for any event planning services and hope to work with her again in the future! -

Keshia was an invaluable member of our team leading up to our wedding in November 2024 at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens. Even though we hired her as a month-of coordinator, she was a partner for us throughout the whole planning process. Her company also rented out linens and decorations to us at fair rates, and everything looked outstanding on our big day.
Our day went off without a hitch, and we couldn't have done it without Keshia's attention to detail in our planning sessions with the venue as well as our regular touch-bases in the lead up to our wedding day. Her depth of experience helped us ask questions we wouldn't have been able to think of ourselves, and she helped us feel completely at ease throughout the planning process.
Keshia and her team executed perfectly at our rehearsal and on our wedding day. We can't thank Keshia enough for all of her hard work, her communication with us and our vendors, and her team. -

Keshia was a great help with planning our wedding. She was easy to work with and helped us stay on track with the long list of wedding to-dos. She was our advocate and voice when navigating extremely challenging moments with our wedding venue and another vendor making sure we got the experience we deserved as the bride and groom. We loved having access to her decor warehouse as well, it was a great help for planning and budgeting. Also, she has a great network of vendors she recommended for all of our ideas during the planning process. We appreciate having her on our team and not sure how we would have gotten through the wedding planning process without her. -

Keshia and her team not only made our wedding day run smoothly, but were there every step of the way as we created the reflection of who we are for our special day. We feel lucky to have had Keshia as our coordinator because she gave sound advice and was a huge help during the planning process. She also had some great vendor recommendations that we ended up using. The part where we felt that Keshia and her team went truly above and beyond was in the setup of our day, especially in regards to setting up the floral arrangements. We were so grateful for her care and expertise. -

Keshia and her assistant were great. They were professional, organized, responsive, everything one would want in a day of coordinator. We did one of her smaller packages where she got involved about two weeks out, so we had already planned out most of the details and she expertly provided inputs and took over vendor coordination during the home stretch. I can’t imagine what it would have been like if we didn’t have Keshia there with us on the day of. She solved all the little problems that came up, just kept us informed but assured us she was on top of it. She was fun to work with as well. Would highly recommend her!! -

I absolutely recommend Pride in Planning! We booked a partial planning package, which worked out perfectly for us. Keshia was such a joy to work with!! Keshia made my wedding day absolutely flawless. When people ask me what I recommend the most in wedding planning, it is GET A DAY OF COORDINATOR. I had her two weeks out from the big day, and she took care of everything! She helped me develop a timeline, managed the vendors and made sure they were there on time, and on the big day she made sure everything went so smoothly I was so impressed. I am a type A personality, and planned everything down to the last detail, so I tend to feel like I have to micromanage to get things just right. I didn't have to do that with Keshia at all because I trusted her and she absolutely delivered! Also, she gives a military discount for you servicemembers! 10/10 recommend -

We brought in Keshia and the team to be our day-of-coordinator - after two postponements, we had most of the big stuff complete, but needed someone to help keep things moving along. I found the Pride in Planning team on Thumbtack, and Keshia was responsive off the bat. We had a few meetings leading up to our date, and they helped us develop a timeline. She coordinated everything with the vendors, which made me feel a lot more relaxed. I also appreciated her attention towards our ceremony - we weren't sure if we were going to be able to pull of our planned ceremony outdoors, but she helped us design a plan that still felt special event indoors. I'd definitely recommend Pride in Planning. -

Planning a wedding during COVID was extremely stressful. However, Keshia treated us with much grace, flexibility, and kindness throughout the entire process. We hired Keisha as our wedding planner. Due to covid, our wedding is actually postponed until 2021. We decided to have a super small ceremony at our house for the time being and Keisha, out of the kindness of her heart, set up our house, decorated, set me all up for the small ceremony. To say I’m beyond grateful is an understatement! The job her and her team did was beyond perfect! Everything was decorated beautifully. She is so passionate about her job and it’s very apparent. I can’t wait to see her again come May for the actual big day!

I got to relax and enough my self
Keshia is amazing, I hired her for my day of wedding Coordinator. she helped me turn my ideas for my special day, come true. I am the worst when it comes to time schedules, Keshia helped everything go one time and smooth! She helped me plan the little things you never think of for your wedding day. I don’t know what I would have done with out her! Let alone I think I hired Keshia a month before my wedding and she jump right in there and helped me! I came across Keshia so late in my process because I need a Day -of-Coordinator and Keshia was so understanding and easy to work with. Keshia was really helpful in getting my day running smoothly and I'm so grateful because I really needed that. I was so stressed on thew wedding day but I had Keshia to make those decisions that I was too tired to make and help keep the day going. I recall I forgot the garter in our "getting ready" location and Keshia came up with a great idea to fix that problem on the spot. Thank you Keshia for help make my day a success. I just wanted to thank you again for everything you did for my daughter's wedding. Everything was wonderful and magical for all of us. Taking on this type of work has to be very demanding and I have to hand it to you and your assistants, you all stayed cool, calm and collected. Very impressive and thank for getting the party started when the band started. You have some moves! I also contacted Mission BQ and was happy to take care of the gratuity.
