Kay is the best of the best
If you are considering getting a wedding coordinator, DO IT! And use Kay! It seriously eliminates all stress and makes it so that your wedding day is relaxed and chill. Kay seriously put my mind at such ease with how on top of everything she was. She is so easy-going and no request or obstacle is too big for her, she completes it all with such ease. For me to not have to worry about little details, vendor coordination, or if my vision would come to life was such a relief. My day turned out better than I could have ever imagined and that was in big part thanks to Kay and Prestigious Occasions! -

A Divinely Gifted Planner
Kay was phenomenal! She immersed herself in our world as a couple and used from what she could gather from the both of us to enrich the planning of the wedding and the beauty of the day of. She even got us a surprise welcome sign and it was PERFECT. She is extremely gifted. Our families even fell in love with her and she is planning my sisters baby shower as we speak. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and warm character made our day perfect. She communicated flawlessly, respected our budget, and delivered exceptional service every step of the way. Her positivity was contagious, turning planning into pure joy(as much as it could be :)). We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! -

I absolutely cannot say enough good things about Kay. We hired her primarily for day-of coordination which also included several weeks out from the event and it was hands down the best decision we made surrounding our wedding. She left no detail overlooked and was so organized and kept everything running smoothly, anticipating important details I would have never even considered. She was also so kind and so pleasant to spend time with. If you are even considering hiring a wedding planner, do yourself a huge favor and book her! -

My Daughter's Valentine Wedding
We contacted Prestigious Occasions to help my daughter plan her wedding and Kerene didn't hesitate to come onboard within a short time and made this ocassion amazingly Prestigious. My daughter felt comfortable allowing her to make recommendations after their initial conversation because of kerene's (Kay's) knowledge in this area and the confidence she exhumed to get it done with prestige. The guests were very pleased to see what Prestigious Occasions had done during a COVID pandemic! Thank you very much Kerene for an amazing day that will be remembered in our family for a long time. -

I had the pleasure of working with the Prestigious Occasions team earlier this month and it was wonderful! The team was attentive and shared great ideas and design options we made. They walked me through everything! I loved the fact that they worked within my style and the things that I loved even if it seemed to be out of my budget. The décor was GRAND and within my budget! They handled all of the details from deliveries to the cleanup. I truly felt at ease knowing that all I had to do was show up beautiful. That is exactly what I did and would not have it any other way. Thank you for being there for one of the best days of my life!!!!

TX Bride and Groom MD Large Wedding
Kay and her team made our wedding day all we imainged and more. Not only did she exceed our expections, she was flexible, and affordable. Kay took so much stress away from us and ensured not a detail was misssed. The communication never stopped and she was so accommodating. Kay made sure the day was all about having the best wedding any of our guests ever attended. Sure enough, all of our guests informed us afterward that our wedding was above and beyond any other wedding they had ever attended! Even three months later, our family and friends are still bragging about their experience at our wedding. One of the unique features of Kay's planning strategy was to provide an exclusive room for the bride, groom and the entire wedding party to eat during the cocktail hour. Her forward thinking was critical to allowing my husband and I to truly have fun at our wedding. Planning a wedding from afar was so easy with Kay. I didn't have to worry about anything. We stayed within budget and I still had a wedding worthy of a "people magazine" spread. Trust me...she is a gem and worth EVERY penny! -

Kay Frasier and her staff were amazing to work with. My wedding was held on August 5, 2018. I met Kay a year earlier, and worked with her on my wedding from start to finish. She was very responsive, patient, detailed in her answers to questions, worked beautifully with my husband and other family members, connected us with great vendors, was patient with me as I developed my vision for my wedding, and handled any unexpected matters very calmly and without missing a beat. The planning process for my wedding was much more enjoyable because I knew I had an experienced professional working alongside me to make sure that things were done in a timely fashion, and that I had the best choices available to me. Our wedding party, our family members, our guests, our officiant, and other vendors were so impressed with how organized and how beautiful our wedding was, and they all were impressed with how Kay and her staff executed that. Kay was great to work with because I was a bride who had very little idea of what her wedding day would look like when I first met her. I only had general ideas of what I wanted, and Kay met me at my level and helped me develop my vision. My early conversations with Kay, which included questions and suggestions on her part, helped me become more creative and confident with the choices I made regarding the tone of my wedding day. The result was a beautiful wedding day that our guests cannot stop talking about. We are proud of every single detail of the wedding and I owe a lot of this to Kay’s guidance, her hard work, and her deep wealth of knowledge and all things wedding. We were please with the prior samples of her work, and we got exactly what we wanted regarding the look and tone of our wedding day. We now consider Kay an extended member of our family. I would refer Kay, and her staff at Prestigious Occasions, without reservation. -

Kay and her staff were amazing from the beginning to the end. Very detailed oriented and the patience of a saint. The decorations that brought the ceremony\reception to life were breath taking. Karen was great in maintaining the energy the day of and making sure we had food to eat during the multiple transitions. Recommend Kay and her staff (Prestigious Occasions) to anyone looking for an event planner who can provide a complete package.

I absolutely echo the glowing reviews Kay and Prestigious Occasions have received. We were introduced to Kay by our venue about 5 weeks out in the planning process and as soon as I met her, I knew she'd be perfect. She completely understood our desire for a classic wedding and "got" the fact that we didn't want to do a lot of the "center of attention" things at our wedding like the bouquet toss, grand entrance etc. that just didn't suit us. Kay absolutely took the reins in communicating with vendors and made our day completely stress free, organized and most importantly, FUN. -

Choosing Kay to be our wedding planner was THEEE VERY BEST DECISION we made. She exceeded EVERY expectation that we had and our wedding was truly a fairy-tale. Our guests are still talking about our wedding months later. When I initially contacted Kay, June 2016, my then fiancé and I set a 2018 wedding date. Kay and I began preliminary planning with the understanding that the official 2018 wedding planning calendar had not opened up until Aug/Sept for most vendors. I contacted Kay back in August 2016, and told Kay my fiancé and I had changed our minds and wanted to move our wedding date up to a 2017 date. Kay was extremely flexible and we immediately began planning. Because I am in law school, Kay created a personalized month-to-month planning schedule where we tackled no more than two things a month so I would not be overwhelmed and planning would not interfere with school. To my surprise, by December 2016 majority of the planning was complete and I felt like I had done bare minimum thanks to Kay. I particularly loved and appreciated Kay’s judgment, expertise and honesty. Understanding our vision and budget, Kay would have no problem being honest telling us what she thought was not worth the money, or always suggested comparable cheaper alternatives to make sure we were always completely satisfied. Fast forward to our wedding day, my husband and I were completely BLOWN AWAY!!!!!! The meeting in her office picking out our décor could not have come close to preparing us for the beautiful vision that she brought to life with a few “sneaky” breath-taking surprises. Every single part of our wedding day was a dream come true. Although I had a last minute wedding dress dilemma, Kay rushed upstairs and assured me she was taking care of it and that she did. I could really go on and on about my satisfaction with Kay and her team If you are looking for a wedding/event planner look no further, Kay and the Prestigious Occasion Team will not disappoint!!!!

I was hosting my daughter 's bridal shower however, I did not have time to plan myself. So my daughter suggested I contact Kay, since she was the wedding planner for her wedding. I was very pleased with Kay. From start to finish, Kay was very professional, helpful in making suggestions, available all the time, and most of all very patient with my indecisiveness . I would rate her services a 10+. The bridal shower was everything I expected. BEAUTIFUL & CLASSY!!! -

The care and attention that I receieved during and before my wedding was amazing , My Planner Kay was a Angel sent by God. I didn't have to do anything once I acquired Kay's assistance her performance was beyond anything I could have ever expected. I could go on for days about the amazing job Kay did at not only my wedding and reception but everything she did to help us prepare for the big day. I highly recommend brides for at least Kay's month of coordination. At one point, I thought the banquet manager at my venue was enough and that I wasted my money. Boy was I wrong!! Kay was there for each and every emergency on the day of and made sure each detail that we planned and paid for went smoothly. She's very good at what she does and is a pleasure to work with!! -

I enjoyed working with Kay at Prestigious Occasions for my big day. She was patient with me and ensured that my vision came to LIFE. Also being on such a tight budget she was able to work with me. If I really wanted a specific look but it was out of my budget Kay gave me alternatives that were a bit more price friendly but still had the look that I wanted. Which really decreased my stress load in not having to completely give up on my vision and to have someone who had the creative eye to put pieces together and it turns out looking magnificent.
On the day of the wedding Kay and her team kept everyone on schedule from when my wedding party walked in to when to turn on or turn off the music. There is so much that goes on during a wedding and to have someone worry about that while I enjoy the moments of marrying my prince charming was priceless. She always remained professional and pleasant to be around no matter how chaotic it became. I would highly recommend Kay to beautifully execute whatever dream you may have on that day. Also, as a bonus she always gave me positive advice to lift my moods from all the demands that were on my shoulders. She was to put it simply a blessing to have her a part of my team on my wedding day. I would definitely tell any friends or family about the amazing experience I had at Prestigious Occasions. Kay and her assistand were nothing short of AMAZING!!! Leading up to our big day, Kay did absolutely everything in her power to ensure that we had a beautiful ceremony. Speciafically, she pulled tons of strings with our florist to make sure that we had gorgeous linens for less than we had originallt planned to pay for the simple linens. Kay definately helped upgrade our wedding. I cannot thank her enough. If you need a planner that is TRULY there for you, you can't go wrong with Kay and her team! -

My name is Lauren Hughes and my husband and I recently got married in April 2016. We were blessed with the opportunity to work with Prestigious Occasions for "Month-of" services. I had met the owner, Kay, while at my hair appointment and I noticed how she was so down to earth, poised, and professional. Later that night I had looked up reviews on Prestigious Occasions and was blown away from the overwhelming appreciation and love the company had received. I had spoke to Kay briefly on the phone about her services and my mind was made up right away from that conversation! The deal was sealed when both me and my husband had our face-to-face consultation with Kay later that week. He was just as excited to work her! In the months leading up to the wedding, Kay and one of her assistants, Milissa, were already sending us forms to help us to get prepared and organized. They always stayed an email, phone call or text away if we needed anything. Starting a month before the wedding, all contact with vendors were handled by Kay which was a relief. Every vendor received a detailed timeline for the wedding day along with any necessary information needed for their services. Our wedding party also received a beautiful newsletter and timeline. My husband and I were very impressed! The day before the wedding, like any couple, we were stressed and anxious. To relieve us, Kay went above and beyond and offered to come to my house and help us get everything situated. I had a lot of DIY projects and she came with her van and loaded everything that night, went over our check list with me and made sure I got plenty of rest. My wedding day felt magical! Every decoration was placed where I wanted it and any creative touches the team added were perfect! It felt great to "let down my hair" and know that our big day was in GREAT hands! We cannot express enough how grateful we are for the service provided! -

Kay and her team at Prestigious Occasions are simply amazing. I got married on January 8th, 2016, and I was a little nervous because I started planning my wedding only six months prior. I knew I needed a great planner because I was having a large wedding and I wanted everything perfect. Kay and the team covered all the basis, things I didn't even think of they took care of it. They were so professional, whenever I called they answered so timely, and they were beyond organized. My day was perfect and seamless. On the wedding day they had everything under control and they didn't appear to be stressed not for one moment. They go above and beyond to make sure the bride and groom have exactly the wedding you dream of, and they made us feel like family. If you are looking for someone to design your wedding with your personal flavors Kay Fraser and her team are the ones to do the job! When we first met Kay, she showed us that she was prompt, organized, open-minded and really wanted to construct a wedding that fit what her clients wanted. Although I didn't know how to put colors together or hadn't 'dreamed' about my wedding day, Kay still dug further to find out what appealed to us. She carried different colored fabrics in her purse to help us decide on wedding colors . She showed us samples of her work which were phenomenal! Even when we had established a venue a year ahead of time, the venue booked an event before ours so times were being changed and I was freaking out. I called Kay, and she remained calm and reconfigured ways she could still prepare the decor and have it done in time for the reception. Because Kay was well-organized and communicated clearly (via phone and email), I only saw her once on my wedding day and that was to give me my bouquet. Not to sound cheesy, but she was so quick and efficient that it reminded me of how the fairy god-mother in Cinderella shook her wand and created this dream that came true for us. My husband and I used Prestigious Occasions for month-of coordination for our June wedding. We were beyond impressed. As soon as May rolled around, Kay and Millisa were our go-to people. Kay completely managed all of our contracts as well as strategic planning for the day of. Our wedding was held outside at my husband's grandparents home. We had rentals, generators, caterers, musicians, dj's all coming from different vendors. Kay and Millisa, in the smoothest way possible, managed every single vendor. They contacted all vendors prior to make sure everyone was on the same page, made sure everyone showed up on time and in the right place. I honestly had the most stress-free wedding all because of Kay and Millisa. If there were any issues, I had no idea, they handled them right at that moment. Both Kay and Millisa were responsive, helpful, kind and generous with their time and ideas. I know for a fact that we could not have found better coordinators for our wedding day. We were so happy to be treated to kindly and respectfully by Kay and Millisa! -

Prestigious Occasions honestly gave me and my husband our dream wedding.
I am a true DIY bride. I had sooo many ideas but didn't know what to do with them. I would tell Kay everything I was thinking and she literally walked me though it all. Even when I e-mailed her a thousand times, she would promptly respond giving me the answers I needed, and so many brilliant suggestions. Even when I would get frustrated with anything wedding related, she would say "it’s okay, don't worry about it... I'll take care of it" and she did. She included all of my ideas and included some of her ideas that made everything even better. I had so many little details that I wanted included and she made sure it all happened in such an elegant way.
All of my guests still tell me how smooth our wedding day went. The wedding was on time, her staff was there to help with ANYTHING we needed.. they simply went above any of my expectations. Melissa came to the bridal hotel room to help press dresses (I had 10 bridesmaids) and ensured we stayed on schedule. She was so sweet the ENTIRE time. We could not have done it without Kay and her team.
It’s very obvious that Prestigious Occasions only employees a staff that LOVES what they do, it is reflected by the work, time and energy they put into each wedding.
Before I walked down the aisle, one of the members of staff Karen came to me and told me I was beautiful, fixed my hair and made sure I was calm... it’s the little things.
I HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone planning an event of any kind. This company is so organized, knowledgeable, and truly cares about their customers. I met Kay from Prestigious Occassions at my very first bridal show a few months after I got engaged. At that point, I literally had no idea what I wanted for my wedding. Unlike other vendors at the event that day, Kay's approach was to get to know me, rather than just offering random ideas and pictures. Her questions were gentle but probing, and they got me to start thinking about my "vision" for my wedding (which was a term I used to roll my eyes at but by the end was saying all the time lol). From that moment, I knew I wanted to work with her and it was the second best decision I made (the best decision was the groom, of course!). Every time I had a question, she had an answer... or 3. And all of the answers were good ones. For example, I had terrific vendors for my wedding and nearly all of them came from recommendations from Kay. Throughout the planning process, Kay was very responsive to emails/texts and always followed through on what she said she would do. She kept me focused and on-task, but also told me when to do nothing and let others do the work. The day of the wedding, things ran very smoothly - or at least it seemed that way to me, which is how it's supposed to be. Everything was spectacular and we were on cloud 9! I would recommend Kay/Prestigious Occassions to anyone, without hesitation! You won't be disappointed!!! -

I worked with Kay on my wedding at the Newton White Mansion. I couldnt be happier with the service that she and her staff provided. Her company provided wedding day-of coordination and flower arrangements for our big day. I hired her a month and half before our wedding after seeing her do a family member's wedding. I had already purchased many things for my wedding and was feeling overwhelmed about how it would all come together. Kay brought it all together, helped me relax, and ensured everything went flawlessly and ON SCHEDULE. Her rates were also very affordable for a bride on a budget. She literally gave me her shoes when my feet hurt after wearing them all day! Her staff Rick and Karen were also exceptional and helped to ensure my room flip went flawlessly. Karen even brought my husband and I food from the cocktail hour while we were taking photos so we could actually eat during that time.
Also, unexpectedly, we also used Prestigious Occasions for our wedding flowers. I had champagne taste but a beer budget for the flowers. After getting a few crazy expensive quotes from florists, Kay helped to steer us into the best direction for what we could afford. I ended up loving the arrangements she did more than anything I saw before. She also did matching bouquets and bouts for the bridal party that were classy and elegant. I got a ton of compliments for the uniqueness of the design.
I highly recommend Kay and Prestigious Occasions! -

My mother and I hired Kay and her team for Day-Of-Coordination about 2 months before the wedding. However, with Kay it is more "Month of Coordination" as we were able to utilize her services much more then just the day of. I am an out of town bride which was definitely not easy while planning a large wedding, large wedding party, church ceremony separate then the reception venue and over 50% of the wedding traveling in to attend the wedding. Throughout it all, Kay was there organizing us all and keeping everything on track. She was so responsive via email, phone or text leading up to the day working with my work schedule and distance. She helped with any final details and helped us finalize signage, transportation and favors the week of the wedding!
On the day of the wedding, I was able to relax and enjoy with my bridal party as she had everything handled. From the transportation to the flowers, reception site to the ceremony musicians. If there were any issues, Kay fixed them without me knowing which is what every bride dreams of.
I can not recommend Prestigious Occasions enough for your wedding planning needs! -

Look no further-- Prestigious Occasions is what you need! I hired Prestigious Occasions literally 3-4 weeks before I walked down the aisle, and it was one of the best decisions I made throughout the entire planning process. From my very 1st meeting with Kay-- there was an instant connection. She made me instantly feel at ease about letting someone take over after spending about 14 months planning on my own. I would like to consider myself the nonchalant bride--I wasn't very decisive and often waited until the last minute, but Kay was great at crossing all Ts and dotting all Is. She was even awesome about just calling to do a check in of how I was feeling up until the big day. She was thorough and detailed, providing a schedule to everyone from the DJ to the bridesmaid. I literally didn't have to do a thing but show up on the wedding day.
On the wedding day, she was phenomenal. Even up until she arrived, she called about any last minute things that I needed. During the ceremony/reception she made sure we stayed on schedule and made sure we got all the photo shots that we wanted. Her assistant, Karen was also awesome. She continuously checked on both parties (my husband and I both got ready at the venue), and she even participated in posting pictures on Instagram with our hashtag! It was great.
The thing that I loved most about working with Prestigious Occasions is that while it was a job, Kay made me feel like we were friends, but at the same time kept it professional. It was like I'd known her for years. I would definitely recommend Prestigious Occasions to anyone, they were an extreme pleasure to work with! -

Prestigious Occasions made everything come together perfectly after a year of planning a wedding. . Kay's professionalism was of the highest caliber and she followed through with each vendor I selected to make sure everything came together flawlessly. This was not an easy feat, as the band required a lot of detailed planning so that the timeline flowed properly, all introductions were announced and pronounced properly, and all song selections were played at the appropriate time, including her knowledge of special cultural aspects of the ceremony and reception. She was also instrumental in making last minute changes to the seating chart and table arrangements. Best of all, my daughter was treated like a princess by Prestigious Occasions and the day of the wedding I was truly a guest at the wedding and had the opportunity to enjoy this special day without having to worry about anything. I accidentally left the cashier's check at home to make the final required payment to the band before they would play at the wedding, and she worked out a solution for that problem the evening of the wedding. My daughter left her vows at the hotel accidentally and Kay made arrangements for them to be picked up and brought to the venue and saved the day. The guests started arriving earlier than expected while photos were still being taken and the bride didn't want to be seen prior to her entrance at the ceremony. Kay gracefully took care of this situation as well. As always with weddings there are personal situations which one would rather not have to share with suppliers and vendors and there were several touchy situations which we did have to share with Kay, our planner, which she handled with the utmost confidence as well. No one realizes how much detail goes on behind the scenes to make a beautiful celebration. We couldn’t have done it so gracefully and easily without Kay and Regina from Prestigious Occasions and their impeccable attention to detail.

When it comes to Prestigious Occasions, I do not know where to begin. My lead planner Kay was heaven sent. While looking for a wedding planner I searched really hard to find a good match, but my search ended when I met Kay. She possessed everything I wanted in a planner from her organizational skills, lovable personality, and clear devotion to helping me and my husband to achieve our dream wedding. Kay and the rest of the Prestigious Occasions team are sweet, punctual, trustworthy, and without a doubt experienced.

Where can I start about Prestigious Occasions? I will first start by saying that I contacted them after my husband and I previous wedding planner stole our money, promised services, and didn't provide ANYTHING. The very first phone that I placed with Kay, she stated to me DON'T WORRY, I GOT YOU!! I had a little over a month until my wedding, and I had to start from ground zero. Kay provided everything. The Dj, Linen, Videographer, Transportation, Lighting and Decor, Cake, she made sure my contracts were in line, and she even provided for me last minute place cards. She handled everything with professionalism and care. Her attention to detail was AMAZING. She was easy to contact and communicate with, answered any questions that I had ( I didn't have many, because my whole trust was with her), and she was even there when I needed to talk to someone about my soon to be husband. Kay did not allow me to see the ceremony or reception site until the day off. I must say that when I did, I was blown away. She was able to take my vision and make it a reality, with her touch of flair. Everything was so beautiful, and I received a lot of compliments the whole night. I have found a true friend in Kay. If she can provide for me in a month, the wedding of my dreams, this woman can do anything. I highly recommend Prestigious Occasions not just for wedding planning, but for any kind of event planning. We cannot begin to put into words what Kay and her team has done for us.
Great, amazing, fantastic, impressive ... are all understatements when it comes to working with Kay and the Prestigious Occasion team (Karen, Vaneisha, and Ruth).
Going into the wedding planning, we didn't feel that planning ourselves would be so difficult. As time passed and appointments began with various vendors and numbers and dates were thrown at us, even though we are very organized, we felt that we may be getting in over our heads.
Hiring Kay to help us plan our wedding was the best decision we made.
At first we weren’t looking into hiring a wedding coordinator. After continuously hearing from vendors and friends about the quality of work provided and how they loved working with her, we decided to see what all the hype was about. So we met with her for an initial consultation and from that moment forward the deal was sealed, she was OURS. Right away she began to put the pieces of our vision together for our wedding. She helped us choose and book the remaining vendors for our special day.
Kay really takes the time to get to know you as individuals and as a couple, you are not just another wedding in her book. She makes you feel that your wedding is her main and only priority. She is very organized (crosses every T and dots every I). When asked her opinion on a matter she tells you the truth not just what you want to hear. She makes herself available just about whenever. (even at 4am when you may have a thought… LOL).

Where do I start? I previously observed Kay in action for a wedding and birthday party, but actually working close with her and planning my wedding was absolutely breath-taking. We contacted Kay in a panic because I felt like things were all over the place. Everything from linens and chair covers to centerpieces and rehearsal ideas was a mess. My husband and I knew exactly what we wanted, but we were having trouble bringing it to life.
My husband was one of those men who felt we didn't need a planner. He felt that we could handle everything from contact with the vendors to the progression of the ceremony and reception by ourselves. As soon as we walked in the door for our first meeting with Kay, she had a table prepared that was showcasing our vision and some linen adaptations of her own. By the end of the meeting, when he’d seen how organized and detailed oriented she is, he was sold! We never realized how many more decisions needed to made nor how many tiny details hadn’t even come across either of our minds. Not only did Kay help us with our vision, but she also dealt with our vendors and made sure that they had everything they needed. She made sure they had a timeline and kept everything flowing smoothly leading up to our special day.
On our wedding day, Kay and Vaneisha took extremely great care of us. They made sure everything was picked up and received on time. They checked on the bridal party throughout the day and picked up any last minute items we needed. Everything turned out exactly the way we wanted and we were able to sit back and enjoy our day. It felt as if we were being chauffeured through the entire wedding. We didn't have to lift a finger for anything, except to “share” some cake with one another. Our reception was absolutely beautiful, breath-taking, intimate, and we owe all of it to Kay. We recommend her for any and all events and cannot wait for our next event to take to her.

Hi future wives! I'm Akisha and I recently appeared on TLC's Say Yes to the Dress Season Ten Episode 3 "Brides and their Boys". I hired the super amazing team of Prestigious Occasions to plan my wedding a year out!!! Kay was amazing from start to finish. Her work is priceless! Their packages offer so much more than the contract can explain. I was surprised and very relieved by the organization, availability, advise, and deals I received. My wedding was BEAUTIFUL, my cake was gorgeous and delicious, food and drinks were memorable, my decor was flawless, and my guests are still talking about my wedding. It was perfect! :) So Beautiful, Say Yes to the Dress filmed my dress and my wedding! The episode hasn't aired yet, but I will update my review when it does!
Most of all I have to give individual praise to the Prestigious Occasions team; Karen, Ruth, and most importantly Kay ( the "Godsent")! From family seating chart drama all the way to wedding party gifts, Kay was there for me and my husband. Every time my husband and I couldn't make a decision we called Kay, and she always had the answer. There wasn't a question left unanswered or a problem left unresolved. As you all know, wedding planning can be very stressful. I am so glad to have found Kay because she took all the stress away. She was a God sent. She was easily accessible and very patient. She made everything seems so easy. She knew exactly what I wanted, to the smallest details. She executed all our wants and needs to make our day feel special. Kay was very organized and attentive. I felt like she knew exactly what I was thinking and what type of style we wanted on our wedding day. Even before our special day, I referred her to a couple of my friends because I truly believed in her work ethics and the ability to provide the best service for any bride/groom. About 2 months before my daughter’s wedding, I realized I needed help to make all of this happen for her special day. I interviewed many wedding planners. From my first conversation with Kay, I knew she was right! I spent an hour on the phone with her and immediately sent a text to my daughter after stating I had found the wedding planner of our dreams. My daughter loved her the moment she met her. Kay was our rock when we were over whelmed with all our vendors and personal touches we wanted for our reception. Kay was very professional and efficient. She worked to make my daughter’s vision become a reality. She listened to our requests and needs and acted on them in a proficient manner. Throughout the reception, Kay made sure my daughter was where she needed to be at all times. My daughter came up to at one point during the reception and whispered in my ear “I love Kay”! We are control freaks, but you cannot control everything. Having a wedding planner on board is a very smart choice and I would recommend this one highly. Prestigious Occasions is superb. Kay is extremely knowledgeable and professional. She was my glue that kept my wedding together. From the beginning of the whole process , she worked with me and kept in communication with me week after week. She gave me homework and kept me on task, which I really needed(being the procrastinator that I can be). She isn't pushy or demanding. She has a peaceful spirit which kept me sane thru this whole process. Did I mention how resourceful she is, and gave me advice with "DIY projects" and websites where I can find the things I needed. On our special day, Kay thought of every detail and didn't miss a beat!! She made sure everyone was in place and on time. I didn't have to worry about anything because Kay covered it!! My husband and I are still talking about our wedding and how it exceeded way beyond our expectations and all the fun we had!! She is awesome to say the least. Kay ROCKS!! She is super organized, punctual and very understanding. I have recommended her to all my friends. Wow!!! What can I say. Kay Fraser and Prestigious Occasions made sure that our wedding was everything we could have dreamed of. From the very beginning, Kay showed a level of dedication to our event that was impressive. Kay was able to understand our vision and then enhance that vision by giving us suggestions and recommendations that we never would have thought of. She was then able to execute that vision beautifully while managing multiple vendors, trouble shooting numerous issues, and keeping us calm. She was able to do this all while maintaining a calm demeanor herself. We never felt like any question or request was to trivial or like we were a bother. She was available whenever we needed her. She was always on top of everything. On the day of the wedding, everything went off without a hitch thanks to Kay and her team. Kay was an absolute pleasure to work with. I was one of those brides, super organized, creative, and controlling. Before meeting Kay, I did not understand how much value event planners add. I truly believed that I could handle everything myself. I waited until the last minute to ask for help and by the time I realized that I needed help, I thought it was too late to hire a good coordinator. Then my brilliant hotel coordinator gave me Kay's card and firmly instructed me to reach out to her. A wedding coordinator was the last professional that I thought I needed, but Kay proved to be the most important part. She stepped in like an amazing wedding Superwoman goddess. Kay covered details that I hadn't even thought about... like "who's going to hand out programs and set up the display for the favors?" And she was nice enough not to laugh at me when I repeatedly responded "I don't know." Kay immediately took so many tasks off my hands so I was no longer a neurotic mess the last few weeks before my big day. She spoke to the other vendors without being asked and had everything... I mean every detail completely thought out. Honestly I know I wasn't her only bride, but I always had her undivided attention and immediate response to every question... I don't know how she does it! But the greatest value came the day of my wedding, Kay allowed me to get ready, cry, and relax without being bothered by anyone. She took charge insuring each detail was executed as planned and even made sure I ate throughout the day. She handled unforeseen obstacles (Like my hem coming apart at the beginning of the reception) with the grace of an angel. I cannot imagine how the day would have gone without her... Kay is probably the only reason I made it through the day without a severe panic attack! Please hire her before you plan any detail of your wedding... Her services are far more useful than you can ever imagine. And she's a super amazing person which is an added bonus. -

To say that I have a type-A personality is an understatement. I became very overwhelmed with all of the wedding planning that my fiance Ed and I were doing. Ed one day decided that for for both of our sakes/sanity we would hire a Day of Coordinator.
Ed and I met with 5 Day of Coordinators Companies and by far Prestigious Occasions (Kay) was the best! Kay spent a bunch of time getting to know me and Ed. She had very detailed binders filled with detailed information that she had done for other weddings. I was EXTREMELY impressed with her professionalism and her organization. Hiring Kay was a no brainer!
Even though Kay and her team were only hired for their day of services they did way more than that. Kay and I were in contact through email from the moment she was hired. Kay joined us at our walk through and made sure our vision would come through on our special day! Kay was in contact with all of our many vendors and made sure that everyone was on the same page. Kay came and attended our rehearsal. While heading to our rehearsal dinner (the night before our wedding) I saw Kay walking into our wedding venue to make sure everything was good to go! Kay gave my parents and my sisters' her buisness card and told them to call if they had any questions!
Kay called me the morning of the wedding to make sure that I was up, that I had eaten and I was calm. Kay was kept me calm along with our large bridal party. Kay was coordinating between me at the hotel, Ed at the venue, and Church.
My wedding day was the best day of my life! Everything was EXACTLY as I had envisioned it! Ed and I had so many little details that could have slipped through the cracks if Kay were not there. Everything was perfect! Our bridal party and families kept commenting on how awesome Kay was and how amazing everything was!

We hired Kay for month-of coordination about 2 months before our wedding. We and our families agree that it was the best decision we made throughout the wedding planning process. Before the wedding Kay helped with coordination of vendors, gave advice on decor and working with the vendors, provided decorating help as well as rented us some decor, provided an excellent timeline for the rehearsal and wedding day, and was prompt in returning all of our e-mails/calls. During the rehearsal and dinner she made sure that everything was done and the venue was well decorated, even surpassing our expectations, and kept everything on a timeline. Since the wedding our families, pastor, and wedding party have raved about how wonderful she was to work with. I cannot recommend her services enough. -

kay was more than helpful for my wedding to my now husband. She went above and beyond and answered my questions even when they didnt pertain to the wedding. She gave me the confidence to tackle this huge event and helped me realize and scale back when i wanted to be over the top. She focused on my needs and wants, but helped me create an event in reason and keep my original vision consistant. I didnt want a wedding planner at first, because i myself am an event planner. i plan baby showers and parties, and cocktail parties etc, so it was hard giving someone else the control of my vision, and not to mention the additonal cost. But kay professional, kind, down to earth and worth every penny.
kay did a great job inthat she even helped me by being able to provide me with quality vendor services, she could make invitations like nobodys business, and she even helped me with many of my diy projects without having to find outside. she was literally a one stop shop for all om needs.
kay was more than a planner. she was like my friend thorughout this process. i didnt have help with my mom or any other older woman's guidance, so i turned to kay for everyting from vendors, to decor questions, to makeup, hair and just questions about planning in process. She accepted my calls during the middle of the night and i sent her over 500 emails, and she always teased me about them, but in the end, she answered as many as she could to make sure i felt at ease. She was always an open ear and never complained or made me feel like a client, but a friend. -

I hired Kay 30 days out from our wedding date, after having a horrible mishap with a previous planner. Our venue opened an hour late, putting all of our vendors severely behind schedule, but Kay was able to move through this crisis, working with our vendors with such precision, we didn't even know until she informed us the following day. When I needed to add two vendors at the last minute, Kay was able to refer vendors that fell within our price range, and offered the level of service we were looking for within 24-hours. My wedding day was PERFECT! Even the weather was perfect; and if I didn't know any better, I would say Kay arranged for our sunny, blue skies - she's just that wonderful. Despite all my little details, and intricate add-on's, Kay and her team were able to ensure every 'i' was dotted and 't' was crossed. Overall, having her on our team gave me the greatest sense of relief; she made the last 30 days of planning my wedding brighter & lighter.

Kay was a gem, I meant her while searching for my wedding gown and she gave me one of her business cards we talked briefly about my up coming wedding and the gown I had chosen. About 3 months later I contacted Kay and she remembered that day at the bridal shop and what we had talked about and the gown I had chosen, I knew then that she would be my wedding planner. She brought to life everything that me and my now husband dreamed of and more. She treated me as if it was her big day always available and taking care of every small and large detail. I hired Kay for partial planning because I considered myself an organized bride, which I was for the most part. But after working with her for the first week of the month of package she offers I wished that I hired her earlier. I must be honest I thought no one would give the attention to my wedding that I needed. Kay reminded me of a few things that I completely forgot to do! She was very flexible and her quality of service was outstanding. After comparing price packages, she had the best deal. She was very responsive to all my needs. She rolled up her sleeves and jumped in and took control of things that she was'nt even responsible for. My husband and I were very pleased with her professionalism.
My wedding day was very very stressful! She eliminated a lot of the stress for me. She is a very easy person to talk to, and she hears your needs and wants . I don't want to toot my own horn, but she traveled from Maryland to New York for me :)

Kay and her team were GREAT! They made sure that our day went well, I was a little stressed trying to plan my wedding while working, finishing school, and taking care of a three year old! When I met Kay we talked for about two hours and she did not rush me, she took her time and was sincere. She was nice and patient with my many questions I knew she was the right planner when she started talking about ways I can save money!
My wedding day was wonderful and my friends were relieved that I stopped "nagging" them about the details. It was well worth the investment to hire Kay and the Prestigious ladies. Thank you, Thank you! -

I couldn't have asked for a better wedding planner!! Kay is phenomenal! She has a package where she will also design or help you design your wedding. That made my life alot easier. I was very hands-on, but quickly realized that handling every single aspect wasn't realistic. Kay and her team were lifesavers. She works with your budget no matter how big or small. And most importantly, (at least to me) she keeps it real with you. She will quickly let you know when your expectations aren't realistic, but will help you figure out a close alternative. At the same time, if you are very adamant, she will respect your wishes and figure out the best course of action. In a nutshell, hire Prestigious Occasions! It will be the best decision you've ever made! -

I searched for a wedding planner long and hard, one who offered the services I was looking for, represented professionalism, and someone who sounded like they loved their job. I found this in Prestigious Occasions. I had seen some weddings they had planned for and thought they would be perfect and within my budget. Go with PO, you will not regret. -

If you are looking for an experienced, knowledgeable and organized planner look no further! I worked with Kay to plan my June 12th wedding utilizing the partial planning package. Kay is well versed in the industry and connected to a plethora of wedding professionals. Several of my vendors were recommended by Kay. Kay has so many great ideas and truly has an immense talent to bring your wedding vision to life. Even if you are a bride (like myself) that may have a lot of ideas swirling around in your head Kay will orchestrate more than you imagined. truly valued Kay's opinion and suggestions during the planning process in regards to minute wedding details, vendor selection and miscellaneous wedding inquiries. The day of my wedding I did not life a finger! Kay and her assistant Vaneisha were wedding angels on my big day! They did everything to ensure the day went smooth, on time and my husband and I enjoyed every moment. We could not have asked for a better Wedding! All the hard work Kay and Vaneisha did behind the scenes and at the forefront was beyond what we could have imagined and asked for! We were blown away at our first look of the ballroom the decor and room was BREATHTAKING! All my guests and my husband and I are still talking about how beautiful everything came together at our wedding and how organized it was. Thanks again Kay and Vaneisha for all your hard work!! -

I highly recommend Kay for event / wedding planning services! My wedding was held at Beaches Negril Resort & Spa, and although they took care of everything, I didn't want it to be "cookie-cutter". Kay took time out of her day to provide consultations. She came up with a number of unique suggestions which I incorporated. I rented linens from Kay, and she went out of her way to meet with me one day before our flight. The time, service, and attention Kay provided is invaluable! I plan to use Kay again when I plan my mother's 75th birthday party. -

We interviewed a range of wedding coordinators that offered a variety of services and settled on Kay.
I liked Kay immediately! You will find that she is very professional and personable. She understood our vision and style and was interested in our thoughts for making our wedding as memorable and fun for us as well as our guests.
Kay worked with us to identify vendors. She was prompt to meetings and extremely flexible on the number of emails, calls and texts.

I booked with Prestigious Occasions on the recommendation of a complete Internet stranger, so I had some trepidation to say the least. But any doubts were completely unfounded - Kay was wonderful and I could never thank her enough for all that she did for me and my husband. She was professional and completely on top of every imaginable thing. She never made me feel silly for being a stressed-out control freak. She thought of things that never would have occurred to me and had a whole array of beautiful decorations and details left over from previous events for us to borrow. She even had some Aleve on hand to help with my sore throat. My wedding went beautifully and the majority of it is thanks to her. My family was so impressed. My younger sister is considering holding her wedding in the area, and she already knows that she'll want to book with Kay when the time comes! I would recommend Kay and Prestigious Occasions without hesitation. -

I was the sister of the bride at a recent wedding with Kay from Prestigious Occasions as our day-of wedding coordinator. Originally, I was not sure how helpful it would be to have a day of coordinator. By the end of the wedding, I can say it was one of the best decisions we made. Kay emailed me a print out of all the major and minor details of the wedding compiled in one document. I referenced it countless times during the wedding, so that was a huge help. She confirmed and coordinated with all our vendors, making sure everything was running smoothly to set up the wedding. During the wedding itself, Kay was always 5 steps ahead of me and my family members, making sure everything was running as scheduled. She handled the few mishaps that came up effortlessly while my and family and I were busy running around. Throughout the event, she was always someone we could turn to to know what was going on, where things were located, and what needed to be done. She went above and beyond to be helpful, doing the sort of tasks that I did not trust to leave to anyone else. Most importantly, I knew that if we asked her to coordinate something at the wedding, it would be taken care of. That's the biggest relief you can have during the wedding day! Kay had a very kind and professional demeanor. I would wholeheartedly recommend her as a day-of-wedding coordinator to anyone! -

Kay at Prestigious Occasions was absolutely fabulous! I contacted her about a month and a half away from my wedding date and she jumped right in and began planning the coordination for my day. She was so friendly and even in my times of panic, she stuck by my side and helped me to remain calm. She was so efficient in gathering all the information from my parents and I and piecing everything together! Her assistant, Keisha was also very friendly and helpful! I definitely could not imagine my day without them - they made everything flow so smoothly!! A big thank you to Kay and Keisha!!! I really appreciate everything they had done for us on our big day! -

Kay did an FANTASTIC job with coordinating my wedding. She was very professional at all times. She worked very well with all our vendors and kept them on point with the timeline. She was always a phone call away whenever we needed her. She definintely took the stress off both of us. We didn't have to worry about anything the day of the wedding. She executed everything we asked for and more. We would definitely recommend her to her to anyone. You can not go wrong with hiring Kay was your event planner.

Kay is great; I'm fairly certain that she saved my wedding. I was on a budget and piecing things together as best as I could with what I had. Then I went overseas. She took what I had and made everything organized and coherent which led to a great, well planned day. -

I have contemplated for many months whether or not to write this review but have decided to go ahead so that no one has to go through the experience I went through. My reception venue recommended Kay and her team with the highest compliments. On reading her reviews and meeting her in person, I was very excited about the planning process. She was very kind and her office space was beautiful. The church, reception, caterer, band, rehearsal dinner and band were already decided on prior coming to Kay. I signed my contract for Full Coordination with expectations that planning would begin immediately. Even though my wedding was more than 8 months away, I was about to begin a very busy schedule and wanted to get the planning started asap. Emails went unanswered, even second emails with the longest period being three weeks. I gave her the contact information for the already decided on vendors to make arrangements for deposits/contracts and she never contacted them. I almost lost my band. After 6 weeks with absolutely no effort done on her part (no planning pod account ever made, no contract with vendors, no contact with hotels for room block etc), I confronted Kay about my disappointments and told her that I wanted to cease working with and for a return of my $1500 deposit. We ended the call and to my surprise she decided to start working on my wedding by contacting my vendors. At this point, I contacted a lawyer and sent her a certified letter ending the contract. I had lost trust in her and was more appalled by her unprofessional behavior after the fact. Since this time, she was found by a third-party to be in violation of the contract however has refused to return my $1500 deposit. My hope for this review is to spare anyone the time and emotional turmoil that she caused. Even writing this has me shaking. I hope that she returns my deposit and if not, then please donate to the House of Ruth or One Love Foundation. -
