Clay at Premier Productions was AMAZING!

Clay was amazing! He was the DJ for our wedding in October and made the night so memorable! Everything was executed flawlessly.

Clay made the whole process easy and smooth. We had multiple meetings to make sure everything was planned correctly and how we wanted. He also shared some playlists with song ideas that were super helpful for us as we only had a few songs we knew we wanted.

Clay was an excellent piece of our wedding puzzle. Without his knowledge, hard work, and advice, our special day would not have been the same. The wedding planning process can be stressful and busy, but Clay made sure to keep in contact with us over the course of a year. AMAZING. We loved working with Clay.

Clay was suggested to us through Milestone Events for our October 2023 wedding. Sorting through tons of vendors for a huge event that you [hopefully] only host once in a lifetime was very stressful, and Clay truly calmed our nerves. During our first phone call, he efficiently outlined to us what exactly a wedding DJ can provide, including keeping your whole evening on track. There were parts of the evening where we really leaned on Clay, and he was able to suggest many great options. He is a superb listener, and took the time to get a sense of what we were after through just phone calls and emails. He is experienced and professional. Clay timed our whole ceremony and reception perfectly. Seriously, everything ran so smoothly. Our dance floor was tons of fun, and we are grateful to feel like we truly collaborated on the whole vibe of the day. Clay's transitions from the welcome party to the ceremony to cocktails to dinner (loved the dinner playlist, thank you!) and then to dancing were seamless. Thank you Clay!!!!

Clay is great! :)

Amongst all of our vendors he was one of my favorites. He is very easy to talk to and takes the time to know you both as an individual and together as a couple. His knowledge and experience with weddings and our specific venue was a great resource to lean on.

Everything he did leading up to and on the day of our wedding was spot-on perfect, from the music selection and timing of events to emcee-ing the reception. We couldn't be happier with our decision in picking him as our DJ :)

Best dj ever!!

Clay was the MVP of our wedding!!! He was sooo knowledgeable and helpful about everything music, but also had very valuable and helpful insights about things that we didn’t know about or think about. He guided us on things like sequence, crowd engagement and gave us so many great recommendations and tips. His playlists whether for use or “inspo” were so helpful. Couldn't have asked for a better DJ!!

Clay was the perfect DJ for our wedding! His reputation leading up to the event was that he was the best DJ for Wine Country and he absolutely lived up to his well earned reputation. We had several calls with Clay prior to our wedding to ensure we were on the same page and Clay absolutely delivered on the big day. He is very detail oriented and also helped us with the song for our first dance!

His ability to read the room and set the tone is unmatched and I can't recommend him enough for newly engaged couples.

DJ Clay Rocks!

Clay was really great to work with from start to finish. He was responsive, very fair priced, and accommodated my husband and I, who are both VERY particular about music, every bit we wanted. We had several meetings to go over planning, timing and vision and my husband and I both really felt like we were going to be in good hands for the wedding to run smoothly because we went over every detail with Clay, and he never made us feel like we were being too particular. During the wedding he executed everything we wanted and planned to perfection and was overall incredibly cheerful and fun to work with as our wedding MC. Highly recommend working with Clay!

Hands down the best DJ

We originally weren’t going to hire a DJ. Clay has been great since we interviewed him. We ended up meeting with him over zoom due to us being several states away. He told us that his price was set and he didn’t expect any tip or anything extra. We began planning our songs and sets with him with his organized list and timeline. He was extremely flexible and helpful with putting our vision together. When we met him at our wedding, he was incredibly kind and did a killer job especially with the quick “think on your toes” moments. My wedding planner said there were very few DJs she would work with again and he was one of them. All our guests kept telling us what great song picks he had and how much fun they had. We did end up giving him a tip because he went above and beyond! I would HIGHLY recommend hiring a DJ and HIGHLY recommend hiring Clay.

One of the Best Vendor Decisions We Made

We couldn’t have been happier choosing Clay with Premier Productions as our wedding DJ! We’ve had the pleasure of enjoying his talents while attending other weddings as guests, and it was a no-brainer knowing his talent and personality that we had to work with him for our special day! Not only does Clay hit above the mark for his technical and professional talents, but he consistently had great communication with us during the entire process and gave thoughtful advice and feedback that we look back on and are so grateful for. He listened to our wishes and ideas and ensured that he respected the music choices we knew we wanted to incorporate and was cognizant and understood the vibe of the day we were going for and could fill in the gaps for the places where we weren’t sure of what to choose. The music fit perfectly for each part of the day but still felt like “us.” Our dance floor was busy the entire night and guests have been giving us compliments months after the wedding on his work! He worked harmoniously with our other vendors leading up to and on wedding day as well, and it made all the difference. We are so grateful to him!

Clay at Premier Productions was great to work with. Our wedding featured a ceremony on a bluff, a cocktail hour next to a barn, an outdoor dinner, and a reception indoors -- Clay provided sound to all four of these locations. His set up was discreet, the sound was great. He gave concise, non-intrusive instructions to anyone who needed to use a microphone for speeches. In addition to being extremely prepared and flexible from a technical perspective, he allowed us to curate playlists, and worked with us to play the music we wanted, and was able to fill in with music selections that fit the vibe of our wedding and songs that our attendees loved. Most importantly, we got along with Clay extremely well and were excited to plan our wedding with his help and input.

Could not be happier

We could not be happier with our choice of DJ's! Clay was absolutely amazing and such a pleasure to work with. We started with a few other possible DJ's before landing on Premier Productions and none could compare.
1) The value can't be beat. The quote was well within our budget and included ceremony, dinner, cocktail hour, and reception music AND the lighting for our dancing portion of the reception.
2) Clay made us feel comfortable and at ease. We were planning our wedding from across the country and were never worried for our wedding day. We had a few phone calls before the big day to go over the timeline of the day, our vision for the ceremony, and the flow of events.
3) Clay was fun to work with. Our wedding was black tie optional and he dusted off his tux and came dressed to impress. He kept things light and entertaining all night, the music flowed perfectly and we never felt a lull in any parts of the night. His personality really shows all night and it was wonderful.

I would absolutely work with Clay/ Premier Productions again!

Premier Productions had our wedding dance floor PACKED!

I got married 2 weeks ago and was incredibly impressed with Clay and Premier Productions. From our first meeting on the phone, Clay was very detail oriented, friendly, down to earth and talked me through how he typically runs weddings. He also gave several options of how things could be done. We had the best dance party I've EVER seen at a wedding. So many of our guests said they have never seen a dance floor so packed before!!! Clay is the best of the best and ran our big day so smoothly. Microphones worked great during the ceremony and speeches and music could not have been any better. He even set up disco lights to really get the dance party going! Highly recommend Clay and Premier Productions for your next event- he made our big day absolutely perfect!

Hire Clay!!

Clay did an amazing job and went above and beyond! He helped us figure out some lighting, power, and dance floor logistics in addition to the obvious DJ skills. A ton of our guests commented on the great music and he definitely kept people dancing all night. We were slightly lost in terms of what we wanted for music and events, and he patiently guided us and gave us lots of time and options to choose from that would reflect US best. Everyone tells us "It was the BEST WEDDING EVER"

Working with Clay was so easy and fun. I was impressed from our very first contact with how thorough he was. We did initial consultations over the phone and email and then as our wedding day approached, my husband and I went to his studio to create a plan for the day, as well as select special songs for different key events throughout the night (e.g., grand entrance, cake-cutting, dances, etc.). He took as much time as we needed to really get an idea of what we wanted our reception to feel like and how he could help facilitate that. Clay was so much more than an DJ for us- he was also our MC and kept a perfect flow throughout the evening, effortlessly moving from one part of the reception to the next. In addition to proving DJ and MC services, we also utilized his special lighting services (up-lighting) and a dance lesson. Clay taught my husband and I some basic dance moves to help spice up our first dance from the typical sway and shuffle. The dance party portion of our reception was pretty wild and the dance floor was packed from the beginning until the very end (I mean VERY end, including an extended hour from our venue). Quite literally almost every person who talks to us about our wedding tells us it was the most fun wedding they've ever been to- I think Clay had an integral part in that. The financial investment in DJ services for your wedding should not be something to skimp on, since it can make or break your big day. I think Clay's services are extremely reasonable for all he did to make our reception perfect!

Clay was extremely helpful and accommodating during COVID

We initially had Clay lined up to DJ our wedding planned for April. Before COVID hit he was really helpful in planning the flow of our wedding and helped make decisions to get the feel we were hoping for. Ultimately, though, COVID led us to have to cancel and start from scratch. We considered live streaming our wedding and Clay even met up with us on our back deck to test everything out. He was so incredibly accommodating and amazing to work with. In the end we decided to just have a private elopement and share photos so we could focus on the moment and have a party later. We will absolutely go straight to Clay when we have the opportunity again to throw a big party.

Wonderful to work with!

We had a handful of changes while planning our wedding between the CA wildfires and the pandemic and Clay was so helpful and flexible through all of it! The very best!

Clay was such a blast to work with! From the moment we met he made everything so easy. As everyone knows wedding planning can be stressful and of course music choices are VERY important. Clay helped my husband and I come up with a play list everyone could get funky to. He also made our ceremony so special and it went off without a hitch. I would say our music choices were a little strange and all over the map but Clay was totally into it. Everyone loved his vibe and his presence during the dancing portion of the wedding. Best DJ EVER!!! Master of the music

I had Clay as my DJ for my wedding day and I must say that Clay was amazing the whole time! He helped tremendously with songs and if the song I wanted wasn't in his selection he WOULD find it. He kept everything flowing wonderfully and was such a HUGE help. I planned the wedding myself and was stressing about time and how to get the transitions, luckily Clay helped without blinking an eye. To me he goes above and beyond being "just a DJ". It felt more like working with a close family member who took a huge plate of stress off. If I had to do it all over again, I would still keep Clay as my DJ. In fact if I ever have any other event where I need a DJ I am hitting Clay up. He has an amazing talent/skill to read the crowd and just knows what works... thank you so much Clay for making my day that much more AMAZING!

Great Quality

We worked with Clay during several calls and planning sessions leading up to the wedding, and he made the process really easy and fun. He has a really good approach to planning your day using his expertise and he was happy to share recommendations as well as to get a feel of what we were looking for. We really enjoyed Clay and were really looking forward to the day that we had planned with him. We weren't ever able to experience his DJing, because our wedding was impacted by COVID, but he was very reasonable and flexible and made the process of planning a breeze.

World class DJ! Simply the best!

Do yourself a favor and hire this guy right now! Clay was by far our favorite vendor to work with for our wedding. The best advice we received for planning our wedding was hire a great DJ and it’s true. The DJ doesn’t just play music but MCs your whole event so he sets the pace and keeps up the momentum of the whole event. This is exactly what Clay did to perfection.

From our very first telephone conversation it was clear he knew exactly what he was doing and how to work with what we wanted. He was incredibly professional and PREPARED for every meeting. He did a wonderful job of patiently explaining every moment of music throughout our wedding day, the various options of what to do (mother-son dance, garter toss, etc.) and helping us make song choices. He had great ideas on how to make moments fun and memorable. He was also affordable.

Clay showed up early to perfect his set up at our venue. He doesn’t have large equipment that dominates the side of the dance floor but still has excellent sound quality. He played every song we wanted and kept the dance floor moving. He MC’ed every moment of our reception professionally and helped us stay on track with special moments (first dance, cake cutting, etc.) He even helped guide us through the the various moments.

I highly recommend taking Clay up on a dance lesson. He really helped my husband feel more comfortable on the dance floor. He also gave us some moves and tips that made our dance more enjoyable for our guests to watch.

Clay is everything you want in a wedding DJ and more. He’s also just a really nice guy. He was a calming presence on a crazy day. Book this guy for your wedding. You won’t regret it.

Truly the best DJ out there

Who needs a wedding coordinator when you have Clay from Premier Productions! Clay took care of everything on the day of our wedding and worked along side our wedding coordinator to make the day as perfect as could be. Clay was the DJ for our September 2019 wedding and I have had so many of our guests tell me, "I have never seen so many people dancing at a wedding for the entire night!" Clay is professional, friendly, and helped us design our dream music experience for our wedding. Professional, Experienced, and Prepared

We decided to use Premier Production (Clay) over a family friend who would have provided a similar service free of charge. Clay exceeded our expectations in every way possible. We have attended many weddings and have experienced several different DJ's. Clay came out to our venue a few months in advance to go over the logistics and locations. Clay was able to set up two different locations for speakers effortlessly to help fit our venue perfectly.

Clay was always available by telephone for any needs. We had several phone conversations and meetings to go over song choices and more detailed logistics. Clay provided great insight into how to keep the flow of the wedding and entertainment going. Clay knew what songs to recommend to transition into different activities of the wedding. We were originally going to use Clay's dance floor but he did not have a large enough one for our venue size. Clay went out of his way to contact other people in his network to double the size of his dance floor for us.

The entire wedding proceeded without a single issue on Clay's part. The sound and quality from the microphones (both wired and wireless) were perfect. The music was great and didn't stop until we wanted it to. He was also able to modify songs for select parts of the song that we wanted.

I couldn't recommend Clay and Premier Productions enough for your next wedding. If you enjoy your music and want certain genres of music or open song requests, Clay is the guy to have.

So easy to work with!

Clay was so amazing and took the stress away when it came to the day of. He made sure the night moved along perfectly. He helped us pick music and even helped surprise our guests coming out in our t-Rex costumes. We met a few times before which was so reassuring that everything was going to be just the way we wanted. Clay was always so quick to reply to all my emails and texts, especially the last few weeks leading up to the big day. I have nothing but good things to say about Clay and would 100% recommend him to everyone!

Big Fans of Premier Productions!

Clay DJ and MC'ed our recent wedding in Healdsburg, CA. He was wonderful to work with from the start. He was quick to respond with a proposal and included all the details in the upfront cost so there were no surprises later. He was very receptive to our music tastes and easy to work with, asking lots of questions to ensure we were all on the same page. He put a lot of thought into the details and transitions of the day. Day of, he killed it! He had speaker setup at the ceremony, dinner area for speeches and dance floor, all with zero issues all night. He read the crowd and kept everyone dancing till the very last song. He was respectable, professional and kind to us and our guests. Highly recommend Clay for your wedding!

Kept everyone on the dance floor!

Clay was hands down the best dj I have experienced at a wedding. He kept everyone on the dance floor! He took so much time talking to us beforehand to find out our preferences so he could tailor the day to what we wanted. He was simply amazing. I am so happy someone recommended him. Epic Dance Party

Clay truly brought our music to life! We were able to send him a playlist of music that we liked and through a phone conversation clay helped build the perfect vibe through music for every part of our day. When the day came we were able to relax and not worry about a thing because we trusted Clay completely and he didn’t let us down. Clay is a class act!

Hiring Clay as our DJ was a fantastic decision. Early on, I spoke with him on the phone and he was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and organized. He helped me understand that in addition to playing the music, he would ensure the flow of the evening through collaboration with my coordinator and he did just that and more. On our big day, he was completely relaxed, assisted with moving our guests from one area of the venue to another seamlessly and brought sound systems that even my husband (the music man!) approved of. Several of my guests took me aside throughout the evening asking where we found him and commented on what a great demeanor he had (not cheesy like so many other DJ's out there). He played the music we requested for the dance party and selected great songs in the genre we chose for the other portions of the evening. During our sunset pictures, I remember saying many times Ohhh...he chose that song? I love that song! Overall, our wedding was fantastic and Clay has a lot to do with it. I'd recommend him to all my friends!

Clay rocked the house.

Clay took the time to meet with us and go over songs we loved to dance to. Our entire wedding noticed. Our guest kept asking where did we find this DJ? He played songs that had the whole crowed dancing. He even wrote out a timeline of what was happening and when. Super help full.

Everything we could have asked for in a DJ!

Clay is the absolute best! The dancing/party aspect of our wedding was super important to us because we wanted everyone to have the best time, and it turned out better than we could have imagined. Best in the Business in all aspects!

Clay at Premier is one of the best in the business. He did such a great job my wife’s sister booked him for her wedding the day after ours to make sure he wasn’t booked! That is a true story. Anyways, we did our homework on all of our vendors and we landed on Clay! Hands down the best decision we made. He was responsive in the early stages, listened to us and gave us suggestions in areas we needed (as we aren’t DJ’s ourselves). He had so many ideas that were very detail oriented that other DJs we talked to didn’t have. It was so natural having him there and how he moved our crowd it was truly a blessing to know we didn’t have to worry about that side of the wedding as he took care of it. Clay came out for a site visit and was very interested in making sure he knew his surroundings to make sure our day was exactly what we had visioned! He nailed it. Other than being great at the ceremony sound, cocktail hour, directing the timing of various things and the crowd (multiple locations) his music literally had people overflowing the dance floor the entire night. Literally the mistake we made with booking Clay is we didn’t get a big enough dance floor! Book premier and you will not be disappointed.

Jay DJ'd our wedding and was absolutely amazing!! He and my husband clicked over a totally obscure song that he found for us in the first meeting. He was extremely helpful whenever we met with him or emailed him. He guided us through a timeline and recommended songs for certain parts of the wedding when we were clueless lol. Jay at Premier Productions was awesome to work with. We met with him 3 times prior to the wedding. We are not much into dancing, and Jay accommodated my daughter and her now husbands's musical tastes and desires for what they wanted and didn't want played at the wedding. His vast knowledge of various types of music was evident and he was able to coach them and give great ideas. He did all the sound systems for the wedding ceremony and reception. Everything went smoothly and off without a hitch- it was seamless. Jay coordinated the day of ceremony flow along with Jeannette at our venue. Everything was perfect, he was not an obnoxious presence as some Dj's can be. We highly recommend Premier Productions and Jay!

I had David the owner at my wedding on 8/17/14 and he was AMAZING! He worked with our budget and during the reception was even helping to serve the head table and make sure we had everything we needed. The best decision we made for our entire wedding was hiring Jay from premier productions. His service was above and beyond what we could have expected from a DJ. Not only did we meet with him three times to make sure all the music was exactly what we wanted for our ceremony and reception, but he coordinated the entire event since no one else seemed to want that job. He was amazing and I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants a memorable experience at their wedding. Really, I cannot say enough about him, excellent does not come close.

I couldn't have spent my music budget any better!!! Clay was just amazing! Originally we wanted live music, but realized our budget wouldn't go far that way. We decided to look into DJs, though neither me nor my then fiance were excited about it. Clay was the secnd DJ I spoke to and before that conversation was over, I knew I had to hire him! He spent 40 minutes on the phone with me, just discussing options and ideas. At our consultation, he took at least two hours to really cover all aspects of what we wanted (and didn't want). His experience with managing flow and timing were invaluable. He was helpful with suggestions to make the event go smoothly and to make it feel special. I can't say enough good things about him!

Clay was everything I wanted for my music. I thought the dj was an important first choice of vendors as they help set the mood for everything. I used him for my reception and he was wonderful. He totally understood what we liked and he has a great process for figuring out what you like. I trusted him completely after the first meeting and the reception went amazing. We have relatives from all sides saying this was the most dancing they had ever seen at a wedding. After the first dance, it never stopped. Great choice for a DJ.

WOW!! The level of service from Jay was absolutely amazing. We felt so at ease with him because of our song selection meetings, of which there were 3, we gave him a few ideas and a loose theme and almost one year later we are still hearing how great the music was at our wedding. We can't imagine how our wedding would have went without Jay and everything he did to make it perfect. From helping our officiant( a family member) to feel more comfortable, to getting champagne for my wife!! Nothing but great music ALL NIGHT LONG! We worked with Clay and he is amazing! He was full of suggestions and information from the very start. Whether we had no idea what we were looking for and he had to start from scratch or if we had a song that we needed to make fit into the evening... Clay made it happen. We did all of our planning from across the United States and Clay was great at making time for phone appointments and then was able to fit us in for an appointment 2 days before the wedding. On the evening of the wedding Clay was there to make sure that Vince and I had everything we needed and he has a wonderful ability to read the crowd and make adjustments on the fly which helped the evening flow very naturally.
If you're looking for a DJ that will be professional, responsive, fun, and NOT your typical wedding DJ - you've found him!

Bottom line........our dance floor was NEVER empty!! We had mix of family from Ireland and Uruguay and Clay did an amazing job of mixing both styles of music and always keeping the energy pumping! People boo'ed as he announced the last song which for me as the bride was a great feeling because we all had so much fun on the dance floor. As an event planner myself I didn't think twice about hiring Premier Productions as I have worked with them for years from the venue side of things and they were everything I could have asked for in a DJ on my own wedding day!! I worked with Clay at Premier Productions. Both my husband and I agree that he was by far one of our best vendors. Picking out the music with Clay was so much fun and he was very good at listening to what we had to say and helping find song selections that fit us. He also helped make sure everything ran on time and smooth. He did a great job of letting us know what to except next throughout the night so that we did not have to think about timing at all. He had a great way of making both the ceremony and reception flow and the best part was that guests complimented his work! I first heard of Premier Productions at a local bridal show. I called them shortly after and ended up meeting with Clay. From day one my fiance and I were impressed. He was the first vendor to walk us through our whole wedding and help us really decide what we wanted. We hired him on the spot despite this being our first DJ meeting. Clay is incredibly professional and knows his stuff. We really appreciated his laid back personality and genuine love for what he does. Our wedding wasn't incrediblly traditional and Clay was able to give us the reasons behind why people do the money dance, announcement, ect.

Clay at Premier Productions was absolutely wonderful to work with! We had some pretty specific and unusual needs for our wedding as the venue had several separate outdoor spaces, but this was no problem at all for Clay. He was able to handle all of these challenges with ease.

His knowledge of music is EXTENSIVE and he had perfect suggestions of what types of songs to use for every part of the ceremony and reception.

I planned my wedding from out of town, so scheduling vendor meetings on the weekends was a must. Clay was able to fit me into his schedule on multiple occasions and was always prepared with background knowledge of our specific event.

I cannot recommend Clay at Premier Productions enough. I tell all of my friends that are getting married to use him!

Clay DJed our wedding, and he was amazing!

He was not only an incredible DJ, but he really helped us plan out our music to set the entire tone of the event. He was familiar with the venue and helped us think of things that we totally would have overlooked without him (placement of outlets vs. layout, different set-ups that could save us money, etc.). He definitely went above and beyond the service of your typical DJ.

We also hired a band for the wedding, and he worked with them seamlessly to keep music going during their breaks and after they were finished for the night. He was also extremely generous, offering the band use of his sound equipment to make their set-up easier. He kept us on schedule, and made fun announcements without being a "cheesy" wedding dj. I am also a bit picky with music and wanted him to work off my own playlists, Clay completely accommodated that and even recommended some great songs based off of my music preferences. We couldn't have been happier with him!

He was available anytime before the wedding with questions, and was incredibly responsive. I highly recommend Premier Productions and Clay!

We could not have been happier with the professional and personalized services Clay from Premier Productions provided us with. He was incredibly flexible in terms of accommodating our busy schedules by meeting us evenings and weekends. He takes the time to listen to your preferences, and then actually takes them into account on the Big Day. Clay's laid-back and fun personality is perfect for keeping the wedding flowing but without being intrusive. All of our friends and family had a blast and raved about our DJ, and I have referred Clay to two other friends who booked him and loved him as well. Finally, Clay and his wife are excellent dance teachers-- for a small charge we received a brief but effective dance lesson tacked on to the end of one of our planning meetings with him. Totally worth it. Thank you Clay!

Plan and simple- AWESOME. My husband and I loved working with Clay from Premier Productions. Super helpful during the initial meetings of thinking about music. Then on the day of it was more then my husband and I expected we'd get from our DJ. Was there and worked with us to keep the wedding moving but not all in your face. Made it all about the Bride and Groom, as it should be! We couldn't have asked for a better DJ and everyone loved the music!

We really enjoyed working with Clay at premier productions. From the beginning he knew what he was talking about and guided me to make decisions that resulted in the best party! My dad and everyone at the wedding talked about how great Clay was after the wedding. We really loved how hemoved things along so smooth, while letting us enjoy the night! We loved the music and everyone at the wedding said that it was the best/fun wedding they had been to EVER! I would recommend this service to anyone who wants a classy wedding and a classy DJ who is not cheesy and annoying. The DJ can make or break the wedding.

The cost of using Premier Productions was so worth it. Clay communicated with all our other vendors in order to have things run smoothly on the day. I did not have to worry about anything on my day.

Jay from Premier Productions was the DJ for our wedding. He met with us several times to figure out the perfect music for the wedding. He was very thorough and we were able to figure out with ease, what songs were going to be playing at specific times. We also brought up the fact that we had a favorite song, therefore Jay made it the theme song of the wedding. On the wedding day, Jay was at the ceremony (even though he didn’t have to be until the reception). He was very professional, caring and dedicated to our wedding. During the reception Jay was the coordinator, MC and DJ. Needless to say our wedding was a huge hit! Our theme song was “Lucky”, and indeed we were in having Jay as our DJ.

I was introduced to Premier Productions through our wedding venue as they were one of the preferred vendors. Then I met them at the wine country wedding expo and decided to give them a try. I knew nothing about choosing a dj and did not shop around as they came so highly recommended. I definitely had my reservations about using a dj, i.e., all the cheesy songs and Las Vegas-esque announcer types, but after meeting Jay for the first of three consultations, I felt really good about booking the company as I could tell that they really put a lot of care and personal touches into each client they work with. I also liked the fact that they had worked with my venue many times before so I was sure it would go smoothly and did it ever! I was nervous about how the sound for the ceremony would be since it was on the beach, but it was perfect and Jay more than surpassed my expecations. He also did a great job with the coordination at the reception, touching base with photographer, toast givers, kitchen, etc... and wrangling guests to where they needed to be at certain times. I cannot recommend Premier Productions enough!!!

David, our DJ, was awesome. He was worth every cent we spent. He was our DJ and helped us organize everything. It was nice to sit down with him twice before the wedding and go over details. I also appreciated paying extra to have him at our rehearsal. He is friendly, fun to be around, and very professional. He even brought my maid of honor her flip flops into the vineyards for pictures because her feet were hurting. He made sure we had food and water throughout the whole thing and we were happy. It was great! My aunts and uncles were commenting how great the music was. The funny thing is he picked most of the dinner music and everyone loved it. He can be as much involved as you want him to be. If I were to get married all over again I wouldn't have a lot of the same vendors, BUT there is NO DOUBT that I WOULD HAVE DAVID DJ. I can not say one negative thing about him. I haven't yet seen our wedding video so I can not comment on the video part. Cullen is really nice though.

Our DJ for our wedding was amazing! We met several times before the wedding to make a soundtrack for our day. He had songs for every genre of music that we could choose from. He really tailored the music to our event, interests, cultures, and styles. Clay was even helping out with several other things such as checking in with our event coordinator, making sure the bridal party had drinks, and so much more! All of my guests were raving at how wonderful the DJ was at our wedding. I would recommend this company to everyone wanting a wonderful and entertaining event.

I had a great experience working with Clayton Mitchell and Premier Productions. Originally I was not excited about hiring a DJ and scared of the cheesy lame announcing and same old generic wedding songs but after meeting Clay I realized that we were in good hands.
Clay is extremely professional, a great communicator, flexible and a pleasure to work with. He was upfront about all costs and knew our venue well and gave great options for set up and sound system.
He really took the time to get to know our style and taste in music and was great at providing suggestions and keeping us organized but kept true to our theme. Our wedding was on the coast and partially outdoors so I really appreciated that Clay was proactive to have us choose back up scenarios in case of bad weather.
On the day of our wedding Clay was very organized and kept us on schedule but was was flexible to roll with the direction of the party. He took requests on demand and protected our "do not play list" even when my mother in law tried to influence him otherwise. The dance floor was packed all night even an hour past our end time... Thanks Clay, it was a great party!

I thought Clayton did a great job! From the first time I spoke to him he made me confident in his abilities and experience. Although I got married in Santa Rosa, I do not currently live there and Clayton was great working with my schedule. When I was in town, we met to discuss details and when I wasn't he was very quick to respond to my emails and phone calls. On the day of the event, he kept the party moving. Without him I would have been lost!!! I gave him a time line that I wanted to follow and he made it happen! Thanks Clayton!

Clay and his company were professional, prompt and amazing to work with. Our wedding ceremony and reception were carried out with utmost professionalism and finesse. It was clearly obvious that our party was being executed by professionals and there were no amateur moments. Our guests knew exactly what was happening, where to go, what was next and were dancing the entire night. It was extremely important for my husband and myself to provide a well planned party for our friends and family and Clay got it right. He educated us on what details make a party well planned and had plenty of suggestions for us. We happily recommend Clay and his company.

Clay was absolutley great to work with. He has a huge selection of songs for you to choose from, you sit down and get to go through them all, if there is anything you want that he doesn't have he downloads it right then. Not only was Clay an excelent DJ, but he also acted as our coordinator for the day of the wedding. He helped us come up with a timeline for the day and he made sure everything flowed with our other vednors without us having to wory about it. Clay went above and beyond what I expected from a DJ and I highly recomend him!

I can't imagine a better DJ than Clay Mitchell! He went far above and beyond our expectations of a DJ. He was so accommodating and met with us several times before our wedding, not only to go over our music choices, but also to help us put together our day of time line! Who needs a wedding planer when you can have a DJ that does it all! Clay is professional and he will make sure your day runs smoothly so that you and your guests will have fun! He really knows how to make a dance party move and we had a blast dancing the night away!

Clay Mitchell at Premier Production was hands down the best thing we could have done for our wedding. Months later I am still recieving compliments from our guests about our DJ. However, it was not just the day-of where he impressed my husband and I. From the moment we met Clay we knew we were in good hands. He spent hours with us picking the perfect music and when we came up short on ideas he filled in the gaps perfectly. Clay also read our guests well and knew when we needed to move along to the next activity or when people seemed to be enjoying themselves and thus we could let a few more minutes pass. Clay worked with us on some unique ideas we wanted to implement and when we changed our first dance song a week before the wedding to a song that needed to be faded halfway through because it was 4 minutes long - Clay didn't miss a beat. He found the perfect place to fade out the song and let us know he had it taken care of so I could let that worry go. Clay also managed the timeline perfectly and MCed in the most professional and fun manner. Clay absolutely ran our party without being the party which is not something many DJs can do...and when we wanted to go an extra hour at the end because it had become such a rockin' party (thanks to Clay's music selections for both our young and old guests) he made it seamless. I would recommend Premier Production without a second thought to anyone who wants a classy, fun, organized, creative, professional and thoughtful DJ!!

Each and every one of these stars was personally earned by Clay Mitchell. I never thought I could be so happy with our DJ choice.

Picking wedding vendors is incredibly stressful, and, as you know from the many dull weddings I am sure you have attended, the DJ makes the party. Clay was always up front with us about costs. If you are grappling over a couple hundred bucks between Clay and another DJ, pick Clay. He will earn the difference.

His professionalism was impeccable. He was always on time for all of our meetings and was quick to reply to my (admittedly many) calls and emails.

One huge benefit for us was that we sat down with him and went through songs, one-by-one, telling him "NO!" when a song we didn't like/want came on. The music at our wedding rocked, and we have Clay to thank for it.

As the previous reviewer mentioned, Clay will all but run your show. He personally spoke with us several times to make sure we were keeping to our timeline (which, by the way, he helped us create).

Prior to booking, we spoke with one of the servers from our catering company, asking her what she thought about various DJ's. She rolled her eyes and said that most of them "kept to their station" and wouldn't leave from behind their table "for any reason." Clay, she told us, was just the opposite. He works with the party to keep it lively and fun. She was right.

Please, do yourself a favor and check this guy out. I can't speak for anyone else at Premiere Productions, but if they are anywhere near as good as Clay, consider yourself well taken care of.

Incredibly Easy Experience

I had zero ideas about how the music and sound systems would play out. Fortunately as soon as Clay arrived, he assurringly took care of all his responsibilities. The only thing I had to do was show him where we planned on having the guests be and where we were going to dance. He knew exactly what to do and I did not have to micor manage. He's awesome and the discussions and planning leading up to the wedding day was a breeze. Thanks very much Clay!

Premier Productions was the perfect choice for our wedding! We had met Clay Mitchell and the company at a wedding expo 8 months prior to the big day and we instantly wanted to book them! They were friendly, flexible and truly wanted our wedding to be the best; a vendor that cares. As huge music fans with an eclectic taste, we wanted our ceremony and reception music to reflect on who we were so Premier Productions really let us put our own personal signature on every aspect of the event from the prelude songs to the cake cutting to last dance of the evening. The company made our day lots of fun, we received many compliments regarding their service and we really got our money's worth; GREAT JOB PREMIER and Thank you!

Clay was our Dj for my wife and I's wedding, he was very professional and made our wedding a less stressful environment with his attention to detail and to the schedule. Although it was higher that what we intended to pay my wife and I felt that music would play a critical role in our wedding (due to family awkwardness) in maintaining a flow through out the evening. Clay exceeded our expectations through out the night, seeking out my wife and I to ask how the evening was going, if he could help in other ways (such as getting water) as well as let us know when events were shifting so that the transitions were successful. Overall I would highly recommend Clay and Premier Productions for their professionalism and quality of work.

Clay was a breeze to work with. Always so cheerful and great at offering suggestions and recommendations on how we wanted the night to flow. He made it easy for us to look forward to our meetings with him. The play list was outstanding! People were raving about the music even after the reception. The only complaint would be that the music at the reception could have been louder, as well as his microphone. We definitely recommend talking to Clay about a first dance lesson with he and his wife. VERY worth it even if we didn't quite practice it as much as we should have.
