Electric energy - such a talent!

DJ Dan is absolutely incredible. We collaborated all together to come up with the perfect wedding music vibe and within seconds he knew our exact style and vision! His energy is contagious and electric and so pure!!! We recommend DJ Dan to ANYONE trying to have the time of their lives!

Awesome DJ who knew just what we needed

Very personable and professional and just a really cool guy, this review is for DJ Dan who we now consider a friend after our wedding. he came highly reccomended and did not dissapoint. Besides all the normal stuff, punctual etc. he was able to read the room and people of all ages at our wedding were complimenting us on our music. We had a wide vareity of musical interests and requests and he seemlessly handled them all and also adjusted on the fly to our changing dance orders / speeches / etc. thankfully no problem and just a really great guy. You will have a great experience if you use DJ DAN!

uhhhhhmazing

Dan is THE only Dj you want to use!!! We were hesitant to use a DJ at first but we ended up feeling very confident in Dan after meeting and talking with him. It has been a year now since we got married and we still continue to receive comments on how amazing the music was at our wedding. You can completely trust Dan to get all your guests on the dance floor(we actually had to extend our reception because no one wanted to get off the dance floor that night). He truly put so much effort into creating a playlist that was unique to us as a couple but also something all the other guests would like to hear. This meant so much to us and was something he easily accomplished. Luckily... he is going to be the DJ at my SIL wedding next year so we’ll get another night with Dan!!!!!

Best Dance Party Ever!

We cannot say enough good things about Dan! Our dance floor was never empty and he did such an awesome job playing something for everyone and keeping the party going. People are still raving about how good the dancing was!

Dan was great and very organized to work with. He answered emails promptly and provided great tools and spreadsheets to help us select the direction we wanted to go in with the music. He handled an early on staffing issue quickly and transparently and kept us at ease throughout the whole process.

Awesome DJ, had the best time!

DJ Dan was the best! He was the life of the party and the dance floor was always full. He made sure to work with us with all of our song likes and dislikes in advance. His prices were reasonable and he was great to work with. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely amazing

Words cannot express how stellar our experience with Dan was. He recently was our Dj for not just our wedding, but our entire weekend of events for our destination wedding in Mexico. Dan treated our entire relationship from start to finish as an awesome friendship and not just a transaction. He was extremely invested in what we wanted to make our weekend as special as possible. Dan was extremely hands on and even went out of his way to meet us with several times to ensure the music for the weekend was exactly what we wanted. Dan was able to read the crowd and keep the party going all night. My friends who are very critical, raved about him all the weekend. Every worry you might have about using a DJ will be alievated with Dan. Dan is cool, extremely perceptive, and takes away any notion of a corny disk jockey. Five stars all the way.

Great DJ who doesn't try and be in the spotlight

Dan was nothing short of perfect on our wedding night. I gave him a long list of songs to choose from and some "must hears" from both of us. He didn't disappoint. He kept the party going all night long. He was easy to work with. He didn't hassle us and I was the jerk that literally waited until the day of my wedding to give him my long list of songs (I don't recommend this). He was kind, not intrusive, and easy to work with but provided us with enough of a framework to think about the music we wanted hear when and where. He was professional enough to only take requests from my bride and I on OUR day despite multiple requests from well-meaning friends and he was kind enough to handle those request with polite declines. Bottom line: Dan knows this day is about you, makes it about you, sticks to the game plan and, outside of playing bumpin' music all night long, remains as visibile or as invisible as you ask him to be. I highly recommend Dan as a DJ on your wedding day.

Professional and Cheerful

Dan and I went to undergrad together and so I knew the kind of DJ we were going to get by hiring him -- he'd be professional, cheerful, respectful, punctual, and extremely knowledgeable. All these characteristics proved to be true -- Dan and his trainee Pedro were so easy to work with. Our guests enjoyed the music and Dan and Pedro kept the party going as well as politely keeping me and my fiance on schedule. We'd recommend this company!

We loved our experience with Premier DJ Services. Dan was extremely responsive to my e-mails, and sent me the contract in a timely manner. Once I signed the contract, he assigned Sabri Sisman to work with us for my daughter's wedding. I can not say enough great things about working with DJ Sabri. Throughout the process he really kept us on track! He created a playlist that we shared, as well as spreadsheet to help with the logistics for the day. We had a conference call with him two weeks prior to the wedding, where we worked on firming up the details. That really helped give us peace of mind, since we knew exactly what would happen when. Most importantly, when the bride and groom still couldn't decide on a couple of songs (like what to play when introducing the bridal party), Sabri was able to make some great suggestions - which also helped lessen the stress during those last couple of days leading up to the wedding. Sabri really knows how to read a crowd, and he did a great job of keeping the dance floor packed the entire night. And, I also liked that he looked like he was a fun, and not just there to do a job! I highly recommend working with him!

If you want to have a great time at your wedding - go with Dan! People were dancing the entire night despite the ridiculous heat and I saw family members I didn't think danced on the floor. He was also super flexible day-of when I impromptu took back everything I said in our pre-meeting and wanted different music played. Seriously a great DJ and a friend you'll have even after the wedding!

Dan killed it!! We gave him a general idea of song suggestions for our wedding and he played songs that definitely kept the party going from start to finish! My (now) husband never dances and he could not get off the dance floor. Months later and everyone is still raving that they had a blast at our wedding! Sabri was absolutely incredible! He exceeded all our expectations for our wedding in April. He asked all the right questions beforehand via email and during our meetup 2 weeks out and was wonderful at bringing our vision to life. Dan is the best DJ that has ever walked this earth! Not only did he rock the dance floor for three hours (no one left the dance floor- not an exaggeration), but he also handled some of our inebriated guests with professionalism and class. Hiring Dan was, hands down, the best decision we made from a vendor point of view. I have attended dozens of weddings, nothing holds a candle to Premier DJ Services.

Dan could not have been a better choice to DJ for our wedding in September! He was amazing from the very beginning - taking a weekday evening to get to know each other, get a gist of music preferences, and talk about how we both had french bulldogs. He was incredibly responsive throughout the process, from that initial meeting throughout the final weeks before the wedding, he made sure we were able to communicate any songs we wanted to hear for sure as well as those we absolutely didn't (particularly avoiding the electric slide, so overrated). He sent us an Excel-based template so the ceremony announcements/general instructions were all planned out a few weeks beforehand, and was super accommodating in helping us find and edit our first dance song so the pace worked out perfectly. It's been two months since the wedding, and we are STILL having people come up to us on a regular basis and mentioning how he was the best DJ they've ever had at a wedding, and we could not agree more!

Particularly impressive was his ability to navigate getting all his equipment and making the lighting near the dance floor look epic while half the roads in DC were shut down for security reasons. We could not recommend Dan and his team more highly - he was the consummate professional and perfect for our big day!

Choose Dan to be your DJ for your wedding - you will NOT be disappointed! We met with a few vendors and after meeting Dan we knew he would be perfect for our wedding - he is friendly, fun, nice, laid-back and we also had seen previous reviews saying what a great DJ he was (he lives up to the expectations!). We spoke with a Dan a few times to discuss the wedding feel and the music we like, and he provided us with a few google docs we could add/remove songs from - very helpful planning tools. Dan took all our input and created the best wedding playlist ever! Several of our guests said he was the "Best DJ Ever" (and our friends have been to TONS of weddings so thats saying something.) We were dancing all night, and during dinner Dan played these incredible acoustic covers - something we hadn't mentioned to him specifically but he did a great job reading our taste. The whole flow of the evening was perfect - from the ceremony and cocktail hour, management/MC-ing duties to the late night dance floor music selections. We danced all night long - and could've kept going! Dan was overall from start to finish so great to work with - organized, responsive, and experienced - seriously do yourself/your wedding a favor and hire him! Thank you Dan!!!

We loved our experience with Premier DJ Services. They are professional, responsive and really good at what they do. We worked with DJ Sabri and can't say enough great things! He was so much fun to work with and did an amazing job at the wedding. We had a few Skype-meetings with him leading up where we shared our style of music, went over a no-play list, shared ideas of songs we wanted to hear and created a timeline for the wedding. I also created a playlist on Spotify that we shared which was a great resource. Sabri kept the dance floor packed the entire night and looked like he was having a blast. Dan was an absolute pleasure to work with. Responsive, super friendly, and very professional. He met with us before the wedding to go over any must-plays or songs we didn't want to hear, and to get a sense of our style and what we envisioned for the reception, as well as explain his process and how he would transition throughout the night. He did a great job, was friendly and accommodating to our guests (while staying within our guidelines), and we really enjoyed working with him- our dance floor was busy all night. Dan Huynh was the absolute best DJ!! I had been in a wedding last year where Dan was the DJ and he did such a great job that when it was time for me to make a selection for ours he was such an easy choice. Dan had a large playlist selection for us to look at and pick what we did/didn't like and what we wanted as a must play. My husband and I were very pleased with his professionalism and at the same time down to earth/easy-going attitude! The first time I spoke with Dan on the phone I felt like he was a long-time old friend... so easy to talk to and friendly! We asked Dan to do a Reggae cocktail hour for us and with just a few songs I gave him of what I considered Reggae he 100% nailed the music and we got so many compliments on that and the rest of the night. He was spot on with the announcements he made throughout the reception, spoke very clear and strong. I think if you are looking for a great party for your wedding reception the DJ is the most important piece to that and Dan kept everyone on the dance floor all night! The only time I left was to use the bathroom and refill my drink! You will not regret using Dan as your DJ he is outstanding!!!

Sabri Sisman was the DJ assigned to us and we could not have asked for a better person or DJ. He was really professional and worked with us from the beginning of the process all the way until the end flawlessly. On the day of our wedding he was there on time, dressed professional, nice, and provided us with all the equipment we needed to make everything go of without a hitch. His announcements were straight forward and to the point. When it came down to hit the dance floor he had everybody rocking all night! The dance floor was never empty and he played all the songs that we liked and transitioned from different genres perfectly. Thank you Sabri! Carey and I couldn't have asked for a better DJ.

Dan was the perfect DJ for our wedding. Jane & I were coming in sort of blind to how to do all the planning and organizing and what we wanted out of a DJ. Luckily, my best woman referred me to Dan, and all was smooth sailing from there. Dan had a Skype chat with us to talk through our preferences, give his advice on the flow for our reception on what he thinks works or didn't from past experience, and then helping us find our style for the evening's music. He was also super accommodating for last minute changes during the event itself! And we did some uplighting through him as well, as his pricing was much better than our reception venue - what made that even better was his familiarity with our venue already! Great music, great DJ, great service. Can't recommend him enough.

Dan was the absolute BEST! So nice and laid back and super easy to work with! And such an awesome DJ :) . My husband and I met with him twice before our wedding and gave him ideas of music we liked, didn't like, and then a few songs that we definitely wanted played. My family is from southern Virginia and my husbands family is Peruvian so we needed just the perfect mix to get both families and friends on the dance floor for the whole night. Every song he played at the wedding we loved and ALL of our guests were on the dance floor the entire night! Dan throws the best dance party and I would 100% recommend him to anyone and everyone who is planning their wedding and needs a DJ!

My husband and I decided to have Premier DJ Services at our wedding reception based on the wonderful experience that we had at another friend's wedding, who used Premier DJ Services, as well. Our DJ was Sabri Sisman, and from beginning to end, he worked with us to learn about our music preferences and he gave us great suggestions for how we might organize events during the reception. Throughout our reception, Sabri did a fantastic job playing music that was catered to our guests; we had a range from oldies to contemporary hits. At one point during the evening, Sabri suggested that he play more line dance songs because he felt the crowd was really enjoying them (I initially said no line dances when I submitted my request for songs prior to the reception). Lo and behold, Sabri kept playing line dances and our guests continued to dance the night away. In fact, several of our guests remained until the last song. I really appreciated Sabri's consultation and collaboration as we planned the reception. My husband and I were so happy with the services that Sabri (and DJ Premier Services) provided - we would highly recommend him and the company to anyone looking for a DJ. They are the best!

Dan is awesome! Great guy, meticulous in planning and easy to work with. My husband wanted us to throw in some country music so he did some research and threw some of our favorites into the mix. We were delinquent on coming up with our song list for the reception intros, etc. (wedding planning at the end gets so crazy!) but he took everything in stride even when we didn't have songs to him until a few days before. He even had some songs handy as a back-ups just in case we dropped the ball on our end! Nothing but good things to say!

Dan the DJ was the highlight of the wedding!!! Everyone had only great things to say about his services. He was an integral part of the day and did the outside ceremony (even though it rain right before I walked out and all), he handed my dad his cowboy hat for the father daughter dance from behind his booth (which surprised everyone), and made our night the best it possibly could've been. He is super easy to get along with and very responsive with question/ideas. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants a great DJ. Thank you again - Best Night EVER!

I worked with Dan to plan our wedding. He was great to work with. He asked a lot of questions about my husband and my music preferences so that he would be able to play exactly what we wanted at our wedding reception. The problem was that what we wanted was just for as many people to be dancing and having a good time as possible, so I think we didn't give him as much guidance as he hoped. Fortunately, Dan is an amazing DJ, and all of our guests raved about how great the music selections were - I don't think the dance floor was ever not crowded! He really used his experience from other weddings to read our guests and play the songs they seemed to enjoy dancing to most. He even helped us plan our timeline for the evening (a huge help since I didn't have a wedding planner). He's a great choice in a DJ and any couple can trust him for their special day!

We had DJ Sabri be our maestro for our wedding. From the get go, he understood that when there's a Filipino wedding, everyone will be dancing, so when it came to Top 100 and line dancing, he had everything lined up for us, along with our suggested songs during cocktail and reception hour. He was very detailed and even practiced pronouncing everyone's name in our bridal party including our parents when we had our last in person meeting with him. He was also very responsive via email. You will definitely be taken care of with DJ Sabri and this company!

Where do I even begin? Dan is by far the greatest DJ ever. He is so laid back and easy to work with. He has an expansive knowledge of music and it's easy to see he loves what he does. The lighting for our wedding was also incredible. He is by far one of the most genuine people I have ever meet. We loved all of our meetings with him, and talking and getting to know him. If you have the chance to work with Premier DJ services, I suggest you do it. Dan is the kind of person you want as you DJ but as your friend as well!

Dan was a great DJ and friend to work with. The first time that we spoke on the phone, we spent an hour just going over what our musical preferences were and getting to know Dan as a person. He is very easygoing, relaxed, and perceptive of the audience's mood so during our reception, Dan very nicely chose the songs from the slow ones to the fast ones. We wouldn't change a single thing!

To all the brides out there - BOOK DAN AND HIS TEAM. It was certainly one of the best decisions my husband and I made. Dan came recommended by my wedding planner, and everything she said was true. Dan was extremely professional but also made the entire process so much fun. My husband and I delighted in the mornings we spent making breakfast, sipping coffee, and perusing music selections/favorites. And when we needed some guidance, Dan was there to make some great suggestions! It's true, the dance floor was packed, and everyone told me how great the vibe and energy was - Dan made it happen. I had my youngest to oldest on the dance floor and it was certainly quite the party!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dan Huynh and Premier DJ Services. First of all, Dan met with my mom and I for over two hours in a Starbucks before we even hired him, getting a sense of our vision for the wedding, talking us through the services he offers and steps he takes to get to know couples and their music style/preferences prior to the wedding (all the while throwing in sweet little nuggets of wisdom, like to whisper jokes in each other's ears right as you start your first dance :)). He is friendly and warm and always professional (and, DJ work aside, he is just the kind of person you immediately want to be friends with). He paid attention to the details (making sure how to pronounce the names of the bridal party) but also remained very flexible (we decided last minute whether flower girl and ring bearer would be announced/introduced at the reception). He accommodated our outdoor ceremony beautifully. Mics for the officiant, two readers, and my husband and I reading our vows...we were all easily heard by all 170 guests! He went above and beyond to consult with my younger brother, who played a classical guitar piece while I walked down the aisle, to make he was comfortable and set up how he liked, and to make sure acoustically everything was perfect. It is so evident that Dan truly loves what he does! He was so thoughtful about the music choices throughout the reception. He really nailed it. He listened to all our input--but the best part is I never felt that I needed to give him much because I trusted his instincts 100%. I had so many guests tell me afterwards how they loved every song so much, they were "basically trapped on the dance floor!" :) You'd be foolish not to want Dan and Premier DJ Services on your vendor team!!! Dan was incredible! We are both pretty indecisive when it comes to music, and he was able to put together an event that was, in one word, epic! Two months later, people are still talking about what a great party it was.
He was also incredibly helpful when we had difficulty choosing certain songs, like for the Mother-Son dance, and gave us a whole list of songs to listen to.
His easygoing, fun, upbeat, "nothing can faze me" attitude was perfect for our wedding day. He paid attention to the details (like making sure to check with us on how to pronounce names for introductions) and asked our opinions on things we didn't even know to think about!
People are still telling me it was the best wedding they have ever been to, and Dan is a huge part of that.

At our wedding, we received so many compliments on the music! Johnny did a fantastic job of keeping everyone on the dance floor and making the music flow together. We had a number of traditional Serbian folk songs that we wanted to play, and Johnny did an excellent job of incorporating them into our reception. We had so much fun on the dance floor that when we asked for an encore after our last dance, Johnny not only played one more song, but played two! He was the best!

Johnny was such an amazing DJ. Throughout the whole process, he was very accommodating and answered all of our questions. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception portions of the wedding went without a hitch, and the music selection was top notch. We didn't have a specific playlist for the dancing, but Johnny nevertheless kept the dance floor packed the whole night. We did have some very specific requests (my husband and I love pop-punk and emo music), and the end of the night turned into our very own rock show.

We highly recommend Johnny!

Working with Dan was a dream. He was organized and so helpful in planning on how we wanted to use music in our ceremony. He thought of things surrounding the timing and pacing of our event that never would have occurred to me. He helped us curate a great playlist, along with a do not playlist which was almost as important! DJ Johnny was awesome!!! He is very flexible and was able to fit all of our needs. We made a few unique requests & he executed them flawlessly. He pronounced all of the names correctly when introducing our bridal party & was very organized. He answered all of my emails right away & was very helpful when we asked for suggestions or advice! We had a segment of Italian music that he mixed together as a medley & he found the perfect spot to play it so that we kept everyone dancing. I got so many compliments on how great the music was and how much fun everyone had. I would highly recommend Johnny for your upcoming wedding!! He was awesome - thanks Johnny!

Friendly, attentive, flexible, WONDERFUL to work with. My husband and I found Premier DJ Services on Wedding Wire and promptly received a response with a quote. We met up with Sabri at a local cafe as a meet and greet and he listened to all of our wants, needs and answered any questions we had... we ended up hiring him on the spot! Out of all the planning that was required for our wedding, working with Dan and his team was the easiest part of the whole process. Dan worked with us to make sure our playlist and flow of the evening went exactly as we wanted.

During the day of the wedding Dan and his team were very professional and made sure everything was set up with plenty of time. Dan was the DJ for our wedding in August 2015, and we could not have been happier with our choice. We selected Premier DJ after looking at a number of other DJs. Dan is incredibly easy to work with. Meeting with many of our vendors required taking time off work or finding a time when they were available, but Dan was very flexible – we met first by Skype, and later met up at a restaurant in the evening to go over the details for the day.

We were not particularly good at picking music, and Dan was extremely helpful in walking us through the decisions we needed to make and providing suggestions at each stage. For the day of the event, he selected a playlist that was just right, and adjusted it as the evening unfolded to respond to what our guests liked. He also did a great job making announcements and helping to usher our guests from the cocktail hour, to dinner, and then downstairs for dessert and dancing. When our “getaway” car was late, Dan kept the reception going past when we were scheduled to end. While he kept us informed as events unfolded, our guests didn’t notice that anything had gone astray. Dan provided a full range of technology to have music in two different spaces (he uses a portable system so that he can run the music and microphones remotely from an iPad), as well as microphones and speakers for our outdoor ceremony site. Dan even helped the guys in our wedding party adjust their pocket squares to look right before the ceremony started!

Picking a DJ for our wedding was a tough decision for us because we knew how important the music is to guests’ enjoyment at a wedding. Unlike the food and the cake, though, it is not really possible to “sample” the DJ before the day. We went with Dan and Premier DJ because of the sense we got during our first meeting that Dan would be able to find the right balance of fun and appropriate music for our event. We’re so glad that we made the right decision and highly recommend Dan!

Sabri DJ'd our wedding this past weekend and did an *amazing* job! He was accessible, flexible, and helpful throughout the planning process. We met twice -- first early on to see if it was the right fit, and then a few weeks before the wedding to go over the day-of timeline and musical preferences. Our wedding was on the non-traditional side, and Sabri adapted beautifully and helped us think through our options even though some were unorthodox. We used Andrew Doutt from Premier DJ Services and could not have been happier! He took the time to really learn and understand what we wanted for our music, and then went above and beyond to deliver it. Our dance floor was packed all night, with just the right mix of different types of songs, and he made the perfect choice to close out the evening! He was also extremely easy to work with and very responsive to emails, and he worked with all of our special requests (e.g., using an edited version of our father-daughter dance song). Best DJ my husband and I could have ever hoped for! Our wedding was the best party we could have imagined because of DJ Johnny. My husband and I recently had our wedding this past Saturday on 9/5/2015. We worked closely with Dan's associate, Andrew D. Both were very professional, and communicated with us on everything we wanted. We weren't sure about music, but they had great recommendations and even a list to choose from for top music played in weddings.

Andrew is a very pleasant person to work with! Very organized and timely. Andrew had a schedule written out to ensure that all important events took place on time, and would notify us when we were running late or when it was time for the next event. I would recommend this company 100%.

All my friends and family enjoyed the music provided. We even got to have one of our friends sing live with the wireless microphone they provided!

With little more than monosyllabic caveman-like utterances from the Bride and Groom as guidance, Johnny absolutely aced our wedding, from beginning to end. After a series of very pleasant and professional email exchanges, including a helpful planning worksheet, we were still miserably unprepared for our DJ planning meeting, two weeks before the wedding. Johnny very kindly walked us through each step, helping us select occasion-appropriate songs and making only minimal requests of our wedding-decision-weary, post-workday brains. He and Dan also spent time scouring the internet to find a recording of the very personal song I chose for my trip down the aisle.

The party itself was a massive hit, with every demographic. Johnny had the flow of the evening down to a science, AND he pronounced each of the long, difficult names correctly. He was responsive to requests (but knew which to ignore) and really knew how to follow the energy of the crowd (even on a quick detour to the land of boy-bands' past...). We had a great night, and we highly, highly recommend Johnny to anyone planning their wedding! He made it all sound so simple, and he absolutely delivered!

Premier DJ Services was fantastic to work with. Dan and our DJ, Sabri, were both very professional and easy to communicate with. My now husband and I had a mix of old and young people at our wedding and didn't really have much of a direction when first starting to plan music out for the wedding on our own. We were provided a list of popular song selections and were able to choose quite a few songs that we enjoyed and thought our guests would too. We didn't have a full list, but after meeting and talking with Sabri for a bit we knew that he understood the direction we wanted to go in. The reception was absolutely FLAWLESS. The dinner music was perfect (Sabri even took the time to move around the room making sure the music wasn't too soft or too loud) and after the first dance, EVERYONE was on the dance floor and stayed there literally until our grand exit at the end of the night. We had the best time and can't thank Sabri and Premier DJ Services enough. What a perfect piece of our special day. Would recommend to anyone in need of DJ services.

Although our wedding took place in Pittsburgh, DJ Dan is worth every penny to bring him to us! Dan went above and beyond his job as a DJ, and even helped us coordinate some of the timing of events on our wedding night! You can easily tell he has plenty of wedding experience with how he timed things perfectly just as I had hoped. We had our first meeting with Dan over Skype, where he gave us a detailed overview and explanation on how he runs the show. Once we decided on Dan, he has always been very responsive throughout the entire planning process. Also, if you have any specific requests, just work with him and you'll get what you want in the end. We had a couple meetings over Skype and worked out all the details with him. After attending many weddings, both my husband and myself believe Dan is the best DJ so far! Here are a few things he did that truly stood out to us:
1) We forgot to pick a song for when the parents walk-in during reception and just decided to let Dan pick. Couldn't be happier with the song choice! Based on our song preferences from working with him, he knew what type of song we liked!
2) I COMPLETELY forgot about the bouquet toss on my wedding night, and Dan reminded me once again!
3) He is very professional and chill. Our vendor forgot to serve him dinner and he didn't say a word to complain...lucky we found out before it was too too late.

If anyone lives within reasonable driving distance from Fairfax VA, I would strongly recommend you to at least talk to Dan first before deciding to rule him out due to distance. Our wedding was made memorable with the help of our DJ for sure! Thanks Dan :)

Dan was an asset to have at our wedding. Our vision of a great wedding included a busy dance floor, and when we told our wedding planner this she recommended Premier DJs. We worked with Johnny and he was terrific - very professional, courteous, and responsive. He handled the music for our entire wedding, from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. He listened carefully to our requests for ceremony and reception music, and where we did not have specific music ideas for other elements of the day (like the cocktail hour and dinner) he had plenty of ideas and we enjoyed the music he used. We had a detailed agenda sheet of the music to be played at various points during the ceremony and reception, and of announcements to be made at the reception, and he adhered to it perfectly. He also accommodated our requests to splice a couple of songs we had incorporated into the day, and we were grateful to have him handle that and take it off our long to-do list. Best of all, the dance floor was packed all night long and our guests had a wonderful time. We would absolutely recommend Johnny and Premier DJs for any other event!

Oh man! there is not enough I can say about working with Dan. My husband and I got Dan's name from our wedding planner and she could not have been more SPOT ON in helping us with our selection. Dan was AWESOME to work with and was an AMAZING DJ. I'm pretty sure that everyone thinks their own wedding was really fun and amazing -- but the music and food/alcohol are what make it for your guests. Our friends and family cannot stop talking about how much fun they had at our wedding. They keep on raving about the music and how "awesome the playlist was." While my husband and I definitely had a few "do not play songs" and "must plays", Dan managed to squeeze all the must's in! He played music that was appealing to all age groups and was perfect for each part of our special day from cocktail hour to dinner to dancing! My grandparents love to salsa and merengue, and Dan's music selection was so awesome that my grandfather got in trouble for dancing with all the girls at our wedding!! I wish we could get a playlist of the songs that Dan played during the dancing time, because it really truly felt like the most fun I've ever had. He squeezed in and blended top 40 with pop country to texas country to 80s music flawlessly. Not only was Dan amazing the night of our wedding, he was wonderful to work with leading up to our wedding and we enjoyed getting to know him - and weren't nervous at ALL about how the night would go thanks to how comfortable we got with him leading up to our wedding! 5 stars to Dan!

Dan was an exemplary DJ for our wedding in late April 2015. He was thorough but unobtrusive and made sure multiple times throughout the evening that the music was to our and our guests' liking. From our first interview with him, through the planning preparation sheets and play/do not play lists, and ending with his services at our wedding, he knew exactly what to do. He had a good feeling of the vibe for the evening and had a well mixed playlist with songs enjoyed by every generation present at our wedding. We worked with Andrew and were so happy the night of our wedding, he played an extra hour! He had taken the time to get to know us and our daughters and struck the right mix of music that was appealing to all our guests, from age 7 to 70. There were some unconventional pieces to our wedding—one was the wedding party got to pick their music. This meant about five different songs before the ceremony was even over. All that was handled beautifully. He corralled our guests for a group photograph and then the fun began. I think every single guest hit the dance floor. No wallflowers! He managed to mix current music, 80s hair bands, 80s alternative, country, Celtic rock, Australian musicians and everything in between perfectly. I can’t tell you how many people said that was the most fun they’ve had at a wedding ever. I think the music was such a huge part of our wedding and Andrew just did it perfectly.

When my fiancé and I were planning the wedding, we both agreed that the DJ makes a BIG difference between an amazing wedding reception, and one that is otherwise relatively unremarkable. We knew we had to nail the decision, so we did plenty of research and interviewed a number of highly-respected DJs in the area. Dan ultimately impressed us the most, and he proved himself worthy of the selection. Dan was extremely personable and professional. We had several conversations (in person, email, FaceTime) before the big day so that he could get to know us and we could let him know what we envisioned. The day of the wedding, everything went off without a hitch. He played everything we wanted to hear and had the dance floor all night long. After the wedding, a number of our guests stated that it was one of the most fun receptions they have ever been to, and I can confidently say that Dan is a big reason why. We highly recommend Dan.

Dan was amazing and so helpful with helping us select song choices. He knew exactly what type of party we were having and played all the right music at the perfect times. The dinner music was the most romantic mix of classics and new and the dance party started soon after. Our guests would not leave the dance floor! We didn't want the party to end, but so glad Dan helped us have the Best Day Ever!

My husband and I had a great time working with Johnny! He was super flexible with scheduling and did an awesome job working with us to find a good time to meet and discuss the wedding and this meant even more since we are from out of town. He worked with us to capture the vibe we are were going for and kept the dancing going all the way to the end! If you want to work with someone who is reliable and flexible, he's your guy!

Dan and his crew did an amazing job!! From the ceremony, to the reception - the music was spot on! I was more than impressed with the volume of the music for our outdoor ceremony. It set the tone for the entire evening and I will never forget the feeling I had hearing our wedding song as I walked down the aisle.

Dan did an excellent job reading the vibe of our guests and had everyone on their feet for most of the evening. We received a ton of compliments after the wedding on how good the music selection was. We appreciated the fact that Dan was able to accommodate all of our special requests.

I have already recommended Premier DJ Services to several friends. Hiring them for our wedding was hands down one of the best decisions we made.

Johnny Olesak was awesome! Great to work with in advance of the wedding and amazing on the day of. The introductions were perfect and the variety of music was fantastic, keeping everyone of all ages on the dance floor. Johnny Olesak was awesome! Great to work with in advance of the wedding and did an amazing job on the day of. Music and dancing were areas of great importance for our wedding. We both are big music lovers and wanted to provide a great party. We could not have been happier with Johnny. He truly was amazing. He exceeded our very high standards and was a complete joy to work with throughout the wedding process. As the bride, his calm and collected vibe really helped me feel confident in his skills and abilities. Johnny read our crowd perfectly and played music all night that really kept the party going! Our dance floor was packed and the music was perfect! Johnny played a huge role in making our wedding a success, we would recommend him a million times over!

There can’t be enough said about how professional and how thorough Dan and his Premier DJ Services staff is not only one the actual wedding day but also the weeks and months leading up to it. Dan was in constant contact with us throughout the process and set many milestones for us to easily reach to perfect our special night. His passion shines through and his energy was truly appreciated during our special day.

The biggest difference that you’ll find with Premier DJ Services against all of the rest is how much they actually care about not only providing a service but about making your event the best it can be. At the end of the day, they understand that they have a business but they also understand that they are participating in someone’s extraordinary life moment and they are extremely sensitive to that. Dan was AWESOME. We told him that we wanted to dance all night and basically just have a huge dance party and he knocked it out of the park. We introduced our entire wedding party by picking an individual song for each person, and I completely forgot one of my bridesmaid's! I told him the information at the last minute and you would've had no idea, it was completely seamless and no one could tell! Our first dance song was a really difficult version to find and he worked with us repeatedly to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. He was professional, fun and hit all our "must have songs" and didn't waiver on our do not play list which we really appreciated. We would book him again in a second!

I could not have dreamed of a better DJ for our wedding! It was the perfect mix of music to represent both of us. Johnny was so helpful when we needed suggestions or ideas, but was also so open to our ideas and made the music really about us as a couple. Our guests had nothing but complements about our DJ during the wedding and even after! Music was a in important piece of our wedding day and I will remember the music played at our wedding for all the right reasons! We got married in August in DC, and Premier DJ Services did a fantastic job. They were helpful throughout the wedding planning process, and even helped me develop my wedding day timeline (since my day of coordinator wasn't very helpful). I knew we were in good hands, and they did a great job keeping everyone on track with the schedule. The DJ played great music and had people dancing pretty much the entire night! Everyone had a blast and I'd highly recommend!

Dan was all around fantastic to work with! He has the perfect personality for his craft - upbeat, fun, and outgoing. His suggested songs were great, and his knowledge of both new and old music was very extensive. He gave us peace of mind from the moment we met him that our music would be flawless at the reception. We learned about Premier DJ when we attended a wedding DJ'd by them last year. The music at that wedding was awesome, so we reached out to Dan to get a quote. Dan was very responsive, responding to our voice mail right away. Dan had been the DJ at the wedding we attended, so we hoped he would be available for our wedding too. Unfortunately, Dan was already booked, but one of their other DJ's, Johnny, was available. After reading reviews of Johnny and meeting him in person, we decided to go with Premier. Johnny met with us twice before the wedding, going over our likes and dislikes, talking about the order of events, and the special music. He reviewed his approach to music selection and assured us that he would keep the dance floor busy. Johnny also attended our walk-through at the reception venue. Personality-wise, Johnny came across and somewhat reserved, which for us was perfect (we did not want a DJ that spent too much time talking on the mic during the reception).

At the reception, Johnny did an awesome job. He followed our guidance to the letter (even when some members of the wedding party suggested that he change something, he stuck with the piece of paper he had from us telling him what to do). He did an excellent job introducing the wedding party and making announcements during the early part of the reception. He pulled together an awesome playlist as background music during dinner, and as promised, once the dancing started the dance floor was full until the end of the night. He played a perfect mix of dance songs, starting with stuff the older folks recognized, and he moved through the decades as the night went on. On at least one occasion, a guest made a request that Johnny knew would kill the mood. We followed his lead, and the party kept on rolling. We had several guests tell us during and after the ceremony that the music was awesome.

Premier DJ was great to work with, very professional and responsive, and Johnny is an excellent DJ.

Dan was absolutely phenomenal!!! He went well above-and-beyond our expectations – catering to all ages and types of music (and handing requests on our “No” list very, very well)!! We skyped (and emailed) with Dan several times leading up to the wedding, and he was amazingly responsive and insightful, giving us insightful feedback not only on our song choices, but also our timeline and staging.

He truly wants to make your wedding an unforgettable party and is more than accommodating for differing styles and genres - we received SO many compliments on our music!!! Thank you, Dan!!

Dan and his assistant were great. We met with Dan a couple of times, and exchanged several emails prior to our wedding. He provided very helpful wedding prep documents. He has been involved in many, many weddings so he has much experience and is very knowledgeable. In addition, Dan was very friendly and flexible. He has great taste in music, plus his song transitions flowed nicely and were not choppy at all. Our guests were dancing all night, and complimented us on our DJ and music. At the end of the reception, people were chanting "one more song" because they were having so much fun. We HIGHLY recommend Dan!!

We chose this DJ service through a referral from a friend. We wanted someone who could cater to all ages of guests and styles of music. After meeting with Johnny, we trusted he knew what he was doing and didn't provide a list of a million "must play" or "do not play" songs. He was very receptive to our music selection for the introductions of the family and wedding party. He worked well with our day-of coordinator to make sure we were on schedule as planned. During our reception, his power cord got disconnected (pure mistake and not his fault at all) however he picked right back up and kept the party flowing. I thought it was very professional when he came over to us and apologized. I bet he was grateful that we weren't "that couple" and we just rolled with the punches. He took requests but ok'd them through us first and our dance floor was always full. We appreciate quality work at a reasonable price and would highly recommend his services.

Dan is a great DJ. During our first meeting, when I explained my non-traditional choice for the processional song ("Sweet Disposition" by The Temper Trap), he not only knew the song, but knew it well enough to agree that the tempo was about right for walking down the aisle. He came prepared for our first meeting, took notes, asked questions and was personable and engaging. And when he emailed us his lists of songs for us to look over and choose/veto, it was clear he had been listening and had tailored his song choice for our tastes. The day of the wedding was a little rough, as the weather was flood-like and the power kept flickering and shut down his digital DJ-board thingy a couple of times, but Dan was a trooper and just kept rebooting it. Everyone loved him and his music selections; from my 25-year-old cousins, to my 65-year-old father, everyone danced!. I highly recommend him.

My husband and I were referred to Dan after having a couple of not so successful chats with some other DJ's, and we were thrilled when we finally found him! He is so easy to talk to, asked us a lot of questions to get to know us, didn't insert his opinion needlessly, and was beyond helpful. Given the wedding planning process and how much we had to do every day with other logistics, unfortunately, our music selection process fell to the wayside. LUCKILY, Dan was beyond flexible, and accommodated our lists (and requests from parents :) ) up to the last possible minute. He even merged a few songs for the father-daughter dance as well as did some creative styling that we wanted for our entrance song two days before the wedding! In addition to his flexibility and knowledge, Dan was not an “In-your-face” DJ, which was my #1 ask. We couldn’t have been happier with Dan and would recommend him to others!!

We used Premier DJ Services for our wedding and they were fantastic! They kept all of our guests dancing during the reception with a perfect mix of songs (and we asked for a very broad range of music including Country, Cuban and Rock) and they were very reasonably priced. We had many of our guests come up to us during and after the wedding to tell us what a great time they had dancing. Special thanks to Dan Huynh and his team for making our reception such a hit! Our wedding planner recommended Premier DJ Services, and Dan Huynh (the owner) set us up with Johnny Olesak. Johnny was great to work with and he did an awesome job at our wedding. We met with Johnny twice before the wedding. He came out to the venue to figure out the set up and give us a recommendation for uplighting. We then met with Johnny again closer to our wedding date to walk through the schedule and the music selections we made for things like the processional, recessional, and first dance. Johnny gave us good and honest recommendations about whether to extend the length of our reception (in particular, we were trying to figure out how long to extend the dance period) and was really flexible in the days leading up to our wedding (we did not finalize our day of schedule until the weekend before).

At our wedding, Johnny was very professional. We appreciated that he went out of his way to get the correct pronunciation for the names of each member of the wedding party before announcing them at the reception. Johnny handled our ceremony, cocktail, and reception music and he did a great job with it all. We picked all the music for our ceremony, but trusted Johnny to handle the cocktail hour and reception with very little guidance from us. We gave Johnny a short list of must plays and do not plays, and he did the rest. At our reception, he had everyone dancing from the get-go, and the party didn't stop until the night ended. Many of our guests said that our wedding was the best they had ever been to, and that was in large part due to the great music that Johnny played. He played a great mix of music that made everybody want to dance.

Johnny also did a great job with the uplighting at a fraction of the cost of professional lighting companies. The lighting color we chose gave the room a beautiful glow that looks awesome in our pictures.

All in all, my husband and I can't thank Johnny enough for making our wedding fabulous!

We had an Albanian-American wedding, so naturally we gave John a bunch of Albanian music to play. John was amazing at gauging the guests and keeping the dance floor alive from start to finish. Prior to the wedding he was flexible with meeting times, the day of the wedding he was thrown a curve ball with the power source and he just seemed to roll with the punches and never lost his cool. He stuck to the "do not play list" ,was extremely patience with all my last minute song changes and most of all, the guests raved about how good the dj was.

We had so much fun working with Dan from Premier DJ Services! Dan met with us a couple of times prior to the wedding so we could go through music ideas. He allowed us to essentially tell him every song we did and did not want played, while also giving us honest opinions and suggestions.

Our schedule got thrown off a little bit because of a "rain delay" and Dan worked so well with our event coordinator to make sure that the rest of the night went along perfectly. They worked together to make decisions and knew exactly when to ask our opinion and when to switch things around on their own. He moved things around on our schedule so we could maximize time on the dance floor - and once people started dancing, they did NOT want to stop! He really got the party going! Many compliments from our guests about his services.

Couldn't have been happier, and would recommend Dan to anyone!! You will not be disappointed!

We had such a blast working with Dan from Premier DJ Services! Dan is a very down to earth guy and from our initial meeting we knew that he was the DJ for us! Throughout the planning process he was not only very responsive, but also flexible when we needed to make adjustments to our needs. He knows music so well and was able to help us come up with unique and fun ideas for different parts of our day. The dance floor at our reception stayed packed all night and Dan really knew how to work the crowd. We worked with Dan Huynh, and from the very beginning, he fit what we were looking for exactly. We didn't want some over-the-top/cheeseball/props-toting/bow tie-wearing DJ, and he is none of those things. He has just the low-key but professional personality we hoped to find. He was totally flexible to all our ideas, and he was extremely helpful in guiding us to the right format for the evening we wanted to create. He also provided purple up-lighting to really make the room look awesome.

We were expecting a pretty dance-heavy wedding, but it turns out our friends and family were often too busy drinking, chatting, and going in the photo booth, so there were some moments of a very light dance floor. While that definitely wasn't a bad thing because people were still having fun, we did want more dancing, so Dan was totally on the ball with drawing people back to the dance floor with some good songs. I can't think of anything even a little negative to say!

Dan was awesome! He had a great feel for his audience and kept the dance floor packed all night. The vendors you pick can make such a difference to the level of stress you feel during the planning process. Our wedding was a blast, and we know it was because we were able to work with great vendors like Dan. Throughout the planning process, he spent a lot of time getting to know our musical tastes and what it was we wanted out of our wedding. He didn't even seem phased that we were still sending him music selections and adding microphone equipment only a few days before. He was completely on point the day of, and the dance floor was packed the whole night. Not only was Dan incredibly responsive, helpful, and accommodating, he is also just a friendly and easy to get along with guy. We really couldn't have asked for more in a DJ. We had so much fun working with Dan and would absolutely recommend others to book him!
