  I worked with Lori Power and she was fabulous. She responded to my emails even on a Saturday and Sunday!!! I'm very pleased with her service and would highly recommend working with her to book your wedding or event!

  My husband and I waited a few months after the wedding to go on our honeymoon. We got married before Christmas in December and left for Playa Del Carmen at the end of February. The timing was perfect! Lori was great to work with from the start. We weren’t 100% certain where we wanted to go and what would work with our budget. She gave us plenty of well documented options and we worked through the photos and descriptions of each until we found the right resort for us. Based on our criteria, Lori also helped narrow down the options when we weren’t sure which would be best for us. I know that Lori takes the time to visit each property she recommends. So her recommendations come from experience.
  She found us an easy, no-connection flight. We arrived with a minimum of hassle and in great spirits. We had a slight hiccup at check-in, but Lori corrected the problem from afar and we went about our business. BWT – it was not Lori’s hiccup, it was on the part of the hotel’s sales department. But the issue was quickly resolved and we didn’t have to deal with it. And that is worth its weight in gold!
  We had a blast the entire honeymoon and not a care in the world. The service at the resort was topnotch and the amenities were great. We are ready to go back as soon as possible. It would not have been possible without the guidance from Lori. I HIGHLY recommend her services!

  Lori Power is the best travel agent ever! I have been using her traveling services for years. Our trip to Cancun went very smoothly due to the diligent planning Lori provided. All of our paperwork was compiled in a handy travel case that I definitely will utilize the next time we travel. I highly recommend using Lori Power to plan your trip. She is well versed in the places she recommends.

  Lori is amazing at what she does! We went to Lori a year ago to plan a trip of a lifetime to Italy and it was so much more then that. So when it came to planning our honeymoon we had no doubt on who we would use. She sends out an extensive questionaire to get to know your personality and really uses it to find the perfect vacation.
  
  My husband took the reigns of attempting to plan the initial honeymoon and Lori kept him on track following up with him when he needed a little nudging! She sent us a list of activites she thought we would be interested in and offered advise on which hotels suited our requirements. There were so many choices which we loved. If we had a question she would always find the answer for us.
  
  She met with me a week before we left to hand over all the travel documents and went through all the details on who to talk to, to confirm our reservations while there and how to reach someone if we ran into a problem. She even walked me through transfering planes at an airport, something I have never done.
  
  The trip to Moorea and Bora Bora was another trip of a lifetime to add to the books and we know that we couldn't have had that experience without Lori. My husband swears he is always going to use her to book our future vacations! Thank you Lori!!!!!!

  We had a terrible experience with Power Trips for our honey moon. We paid over $500 a night for a resort recommended by Power Trips for what was ultimately very low quality and dirty hotel, in an unsafe area (they had to take our photos for security reasons and our balconies would not unlock), and it had DIY laundry (gross...). Needless to say, we switched hotels as soon as we got there. To Lori's credit, she did get our money back but it was an effort on our end. The situation was made worse by the fact that we could not get in touch with Lori for a week prior to our honeymoon, or during the first few days of our trip. We also paid in advance for a shuttle from the airport to our hotel and the company did not have us registered. I can not recommend this company. You don't pay anything to use her, so you definitely pay for what you get. We won't make this mistake again!

  I am very sorry you were not happy with the Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort in Aruba. I have been there myself and have sent many other clients there both prior to your visit and as recently as last month - I have never had a complaint about this resort. I portrayed this as a boutique adults only property that matched your budget and the description of what you said you were looking for in your honeymoon - "a boutique property on a nice beach". This hotel is rated one of the top romantic hotels in the Caribbean and is consistently among the highest ranked properties in Aruba on consumer review sites. It has a reputation for it’s excellent service, and intimate, relaxed ambience.
  
  The two emails you sent on 10/13 and 10/18 were sent to yourself, copied to me and somehow did not come to my inbox. When you emailed me directly on October 19, I responded to you within 45 minutes. At that point you told me that you had checked out within an hour of arrival at Bucuti. I asked why you didn’t call to let me know as soon as something was wrong and you said you didn’t want to incur international phone charges. In less than 24 hours of learning of your issues, I had gotten you a FULL refund of your non-refundable reservation, which issued back to your credit card on October 20. I am not sure what more I could have done at that point, as you had already moved hotels.
  
  I work very hard to recommend the right resorts to match my clients' budget and wish list. Together we reviewed the options and you ultimately had the final say in where to stay. I have had a very good success rate in my 13 years of doing this. I am sorry that the resort did not live up to your expectations.
