You absolutely must book Ashley! There are so many good things we could say about our amazing experience with Power Events. We found Power because it was one of our venue’s approved caterers. From Day 1 however, it was clear that not only the food, but the entire event would be safe in Ashley’s hands, so much so that we saved money by not hiring a separate planner or day-of coordinator. Ashley was a true expert at working with the unique requirements of our venue and its tight timeline. Anytime we were uncertain about whether we should include an element in the wedding or how it should go, Ashley knew just how to fit it in. Ashley’s Master Planner kept us on track with everything we needed to do in the weeks leading up to the wedding and kept all of our other vendors on the same page. Ashley was also great at accommodating any of our special wishes and filling in the things we forgot. She was great at communicating quickly and clearly whenever we had questions.
On the day of our wedding, Ashley’s efficiency and organization wowed even our most organized family members. She kept a few late guests from walking through our procession before we even realized it was about to happen. She caught that we had forgotten to ask our DJ to introduce us after our outfit change and came to get us when it was time. When it was time to do the Hora, two sturdier chairs almost magically appeared on the dance floor–it wasn’t until later, watching a guest’s video, that we saw Ashley bring them out and dart away before we could notice. There were probably so many other things she and the rest of her team did without us realizing because our wedding was a truly seamless experience. This gave us the greatest wedding gift of all: being able to fully enjoy the time with our family and friends.
In addition to Ashley, all of the Power Events team members that we met were extremely professional and friendly. They always made sure we had what we needed during dinner so that we never had to ask. And of course, the food was excellent. We got so many compliments on the short ribs!
Reflecting back on it now, our whole wedding planning experience was surprisingly stress-free start to finish! Power Events was definitely a big part of why.

Since our first tasting, we knew that Power Events would be worth every penny. The owner, Ashley, not only knows her food well, but also knows the order of events like the back of her hand. Upon first meeting, Ashley sketched out the timeline for our reception on a scrap piece of paper. In the lead-up to our wedding, Ashley checked in with us to verify all of our options and make sure everyone was on the same page for our wedding day.
The food was otherworldly. After trying the prime rib and tortellini during our tasting, we could not stop dreaming about them. At our wedding all of our guests raved about the food. The cheesesteak egg rolls were a fan favorite. Ashley told us that she focuses on doing simple foods well, and she does that expertly. Everyone in her staff was amazing and we could not recommend Power Events enough! -

We are beyond thrilled with the incredible job Ashley and the Power Catering team did as our wedding caterer! She went above and beyond to make our day absolutely perfect. The venue looked stunning—the table linen colors were spot on, and every detail was beautifully organized. The food was so delicious. Everyone at my wedding kept coming up to me to tell me how good the food was. Ashley's team pulled off a beautiful cocktail hour and reception. Ashley also helped me create a cocktail menu that reflected the personalities of our three cats - which was such a hit at our reception. Ashley didn’t just handle the catering; she also coordinated our ceremony, and it was flawless.
My parents couldn’t stop talking about how impressed they were with her professionalism and the entire staff. Everything ran so smoothly, and we are so grateful for Ashley’s hard work and attention to detail. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who can truly bring your vision to life! -

Ashley and her team exceeded expectations at our son's wedding at Morris Arboretum. From the food to the decor, their attention to detail was outstanding. Ashley was accommodating throughout the planning, offering guidance on everything from food tasting to rentals. Her team served 140 guests on the day with exceptional food and service. Ashley timed everything perfectly despite a brief summer storm, ensuring a smooth, beautiful ceremony and reception. We couldn't recommend Power Events more for a flawless, unforgettable day. The perfect partner for your wedding planning
My husband and I recently had our wedding at Morris Arboretum. From start to finish, Ashley and her team at Power Events took all the stress out of the day and made everything go smoothly, allowing us to truly enjoy our special moment.
The planning process was seamless thanks to her professionalism and attention to detail. Ashley listened carefully to our preferences and provided excellent suggestions, ensuring that every dish was perfect. On the wedding day, her team was incredibly efficient and thought of everything, setting up a beautiful day for our friends and family.
The food was simply outstanding. Every guest raved about the quality of the dishes, and many mentioned it was some of the best wedding meals they’ve ever had. The presentation was elegant, and the flavors were exquisite. Ashley had recommended we serve family style, which was the exact right vibe for our day. Whether it was the appetizers at cocktail hour, main courses, or desserts, everything was perfect.
Moreover, the staff was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of. They managed to create a joyful and relaxed atmosphere that contributed to the fun and enjoyment of our guests. Everyone will tell you to make sure you stop to eat on your wedding day. That wasn’t something I needed to do, the catering staff sought out my Husband and me to ensure we were able to taste everything and never had to ask for anything.
We couldn’t have asked for a better catering experience. Ashley truly helped make our wedding day unforgettable. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caterer who will exceed expectations and deliver a top-notch service.

When I tell you that my wedding was made PERFECT due to Ashley, I am not kidding. First, the food she makes is delicious!! The atmosphere she helps you create is equally amazing. We got married this year on 8/19 and we were blown away by the service from Power Events and Ashley. Not only did she bring our vision to life and listen to every detail we envisioned but she also helped keep us on track for the day, organized our (rather large) bridal party, and even helped me bustle my dress when it was being difficult. The servers and bartenders were incredibly professional, fun, and so sweet. They made sure my husband and I were taken care of, hydrated, and having a great time. Any large event we have in the future - we will absolutely be reaching out to Ashley and her team. -

The food was AMAZING!!! I especially loved the cheesesteak eggrolls and the risotto fritters! The buffet style meal and the purple table setup blew me away! Excellent- Didn't Need to Worry About a Thing
Hiring Ashley and the Power Events Team was probably one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Right off the bat, everything was always incredibly straight forward. She had menu options online to choose from and prices per person. She recommended a timeline, and had suggestions for linens and chargers. She was also familiar with our venue, the Morris Arboretum, so we ultimately had very little to communicate directly with the venue. She even had two different rain plans in mind just in case the weather would be unfavorable day of- which was a huge load off my mind to know it would be well taken care of.
The food was absolutely delicious too. My go-to meal is always chicken, but Ashley’s food changed my mind. Her beef tenderloins were probably the best red meat I’ve had in my entire life and the cauliflower steak was so good that I actually ordered it as my meal for the night of the wedding. Everything else was equally delicious too, anything you get from Ashley’s team is going to be amazing.
Her catering team was the absolute best too. They were the kindest and most helpful people. While I was waiting for my mom to bustle my dress, one of the servers saw me and stopped by to see if I would like one of the appetizers they were carrying. I was so hungry so it was so nice to get a bite of food before having to go interact with everyone. They also set everything up for the wedding, and it all came together amazing. They put together a plate of Hors D’Oeuvres for us at the reception, and boxed up the entrees from folks who didn’t attend (due to covid).
You can tell that Ashley puts her heart and soul into making sure your event goes over smoothly, so I recommend being patient with her in the beginning and sending follow-up emails as needed. She prioritizes her responses for upcoming events- and is very responsive when it counts.

Ashley and her team did an incredible job with our wedding!
We met Ashley back in 2019 and after two postponements, we finally got married in 2022. In the years in between, she was an excellent communicator and was very adaptable to any and all changes we had to make.
It very much felt like Ashley and her team had our back the whole day and were committed to not only serving incredible food, but also giving us as stress-free a wedding day as possible. Ashley had another wedding that same day and managed to be there right before we walked down the aisle (and got some great photos and video!) and then came BACK to our wedding to enjoy the dancing and check in later on in the night.
We had a designated server, Kat, who always made sure that we had a drink in our hand and food on our plate, even when we were on the dance floor. I must have asked for 15 glasses of water and they made sure I was hydrated and happy the whole time! The servers were truly wonderful and we felt lucky to have them there, along with our guests!
And that's not even mentioning the quality of the food! All of our guests commented on how great the food was and even though we did a tapas-style event, no one was even remotely hungry. The food just kept coming! There was so much variety and we highly recommend tapas-style for couples looking for more mingling and less stagnation.
Any couple, or anyone planning any type of event, would be so lucky to have Ashley and her team as one of their vendors. Ashley is a gem, a true professional, and she made us feel safe and secure about one of the most important parts of our big day, the food! -

If you want to host a cocktail-style reception with absolutely delicious food and work with an amazingly organized and helpful team, look no further than Power Events. Ashley and her team were absolutely wonderful to work with, and we received so many compliments from our guests. Ashley was a true partner, not only providing menu advise but design advise as well. My husband and I hosted an approximately 80-person cocktail-style, make-up wedding reception at Hill-Physick House in Philadelphia in October 2021. Ashley and her team had never worked at the venue before, which you never would have known, as it was an absolute breeze with no hiccups whatsoever thanks to the highly professional staff Ashley employs. An expert in curating perfect cocktail parties, there is no better event-planning partner than Ashley. I couldn’t recommend her services more. -

Fabulous from start to finish!
Having been in the events and catering industry for 15 years, I know that I am a hard client to impress, and having never heard of Power Events before our wedding, I was skeptical.
We got married (officially) in a small Mothers Day ceremony and brunch surrounded by family at the Morris House Hotel. It was beautiful and intimate and Power Events was a huge part of making the day so special and bringing my vision to life.
We spoke with two different caterers about our event and within seconds it was clear that Ashley/Power events was it. She listened, partnered with me on new ideas, and most importantly her food is phenomenal! We had so many compliments on how delicious brunch was (and if you know anything about wedding and event food - you know that complements don’t come so often!)
Ashley helped with every aspect of the set up and pulling together the little details that I had envisioned for our elegant garden party, and it was absolutely perfect. I have hired her again since for corporate events and will continue to do so — and to keep recommending her to anyone who asks! Power events is truly a hidden gem in the world of catering and events, and we are so happy to have found them! -

Our wedding reception had to be postponed twice due to COVID, and Ashley was super understanding and helpful every step of the way. She had really fun suggestions for food and decor, and everyone raved about the event. Her team was super attentive and made sure my husband and I had drinks and food during a very hectic night. Our only regret is that we didn't get to eat more, since as the bride and groom we just had so many other things to do throughout the night. I hope I get to go to one of Ashley's events as a guest in the future so that I can focus on eating more :) -

We were so lucky to work with Ashley Power and the entire Power Events Catering team for our June 2021 wedding! They seamlessly made our event unique, special, beautiful, and delicious.
The catering: We went with a cocktail style wedding menu for our wedding at Power Plant Productions, and so glad we did! This menu style was fresh and fun, featuring unique hors d'oeuvres, elevated passed small plates, and Philly-themed late night snacks. Our guests were raving about the delicious food for days after the event.
The team: What would we do without Ashley Power? She helped us dream up the menu and event we dreamed of and was so helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process, especially during Covid and multiple event reschedules and changes. During the event, Ashley and her team were absolutely standout! In addition to the fantastic catering and bar services, the Power Events team also did a fantastic job with event setup, layout, and decor. They made sure the venue looked perfect and were so attentive to details. Ashley also provided amazing day-of coordination, which was so valuable to us! Throughout the event, Ashley and her team made sure we had food and drinks at all times and made sure all aspects and details of the event went smoothly. A special shout out to Jerry here, who made sure the bride was never without a glass of wine!
We honestly couldn’t recommend Power Events Catering enough! -

Ashley was absolutely a joy to work with. Her food is amazing, her personality is bright, she has wonderful energy, and she surrounds herself with stellar staff. In addition to her wonderful cooking, Ashley is extremely flexible with brides, she really will go above and beyond to make sure you feel supported from the start. I was planning my wedding in Philly living from Providence. So she worked with my venue (Power Plant Productions) to set up a complete menu tasting and walk-through for myself, my fiance, and my mom. It was so reassuring to get to pick our menu ourselves, and taste what the entire evening would be like before it happened. She was so accommodating and offered to change anything we'd like, but we had no changes! She also set up a timeline and coordinated everything like a pro. Then, COVID-19 really threw a wrench in our wedding plans. Ashley was similarly flexible and positive. She worked to scale down our 150-person cocktail style/tapas wedding to a 23-person sit-down dinner micro-wedding (with a more traditional cocktail hour). We absolutely loved the food, and also my family could not stop commenting on how much they loved her staff and the service. Please consider her for your event, and make sure you go heavy on the cocktail hour foods - Ashley is truly talented at curating an awesome tapas/cocktail-style event. All in all, Ashley made our wedding day less stressful, more fun, and safe. We're so happy we chose to work with her! -

Ashley and her team catered our cocktail style wedding of about 145 guests. She is amazing!! It was exactly what we hoped for - a beautiful and huge cheese and charcuterie display, really delicious hors d'oeuvres and small "tapas" plates, it was a ton of food with a a lot of variety. We had our wedding at the Colonial Dames in Philadelphia and Power Events (Ashley Power) easily had the most fervent recommendation from the staff who run the venue. Easy choice for us, highlighted by the fact that for the tasting, she came to our apartment in the city to cook for us on a weeknight which was amazing for our work schedules. She was very responsive by email and over the phone regarding our questions and concerns.
The day of the wedding was great and everything was easy. No concerns about readiness or professionalism from our perspective. They took care of all the setup and breakdown, including decorations. Food was great and promptly served. The staff was super friendly, especially Victoria, the party supervisor, who made sure everything was moving along.
The highlight of our experience with Power Events has got to be Ashley. She was friendly, high energy and gave thoughtful recommendations throughout the whole process. When we had a tough time making decisions, she was the go-to for advice. Highly recommend! -

Ashley and her team were outstanding to work with. From the very start, Ashley was responsive, communicative, creative, thoughtful, and a wealth of knowledge. My fiancé is from Miami, so we did a menu with a cuban flare, with attention to the vegetarians who would be in attendance as well. Ashley also provided a beautiful cheese spread that I couldn't have been happier to see after we said our vows and opened the bar! Victoria was there to keep the wedding flowing, and it would not have gone nearly as smoothly without her amazing attentiveness throughout the night. From the rentals (including a variety of vintage color glassware) to the dinner itself to the peace of mind knowing we were in the most capable hands, we couldn't have been happier. I can easily say our wedding was perfect, much in thanks to Power Events! -

From the second I got on the phone with Ashley, I knew we had to hire her to coordinate and cater our wedding. I cannot even imagine the big day (and the months leading up to) without Ashley there every step of the way. She took the time to get to know my vision for my dream wedding, and seriously took care of everything. Not only is she super organized and down to earth, her food is insanely good; our friends and family will not stop complimenting us on how delicious and full they were the whole day! Our wedding was a week ago and I cannot stop dreaming about Ashley's famous ravioli. She's the best in the business hands down. Power Events is the absolute dream team and I'm so thankful I found Ashley to make my wedding dreams come true. She absolutely crushed it! -

We cannot recommend Ashley and her team highly enough! We loved working with Ashley from start to finish. She was very responsive and helped us to design a menu that suited us and our guests. The day-of service was impeccable and everything looked beautiful and tasted even better. Everyone on her staff went out of their way to make our guests comfortable and also made sure that my husband and I got enough to eat and drink. Our guests have raved to us about how delicious the food was. Several have told us it was hands down the BEST WEDDING FOOD they have ever tasted! If you are looking for a wedding caterer, Ashley is the way to go! -

Not only did she cater my wedding, but she also provided staff at my rehearsal dinner to serve the food we had delivered from a favorite restaurant (which did not provide staff). She was responsive, organized, and detail-oriented from beginning to end. Even as the business owner, she is the first point of contact with her clients, so I spoke to her directly about everything. She filled in in some ways as an unofficial "wedding planner", not just providing food, but recognizing that the timeline of the event flows around the food, so helped us design a floor plan and timeline that worked in concert with what we decided to serve. I felt confident leaving details in her hands, as she did not miss a single thing and remembers everything. Not to mention that the food was well done and her entire staff was wonderful. I would definitely recommend working with her and her company!

Wow! Wow! WOW! So many guests commented that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding! Ashley knocked it out of the park at our tasting and each thing we put into our mouths was more delicious than the last! We knew halfway through our tasting we would go with Power Events without a doubt. Ashley is truly talented and we had no worries about the food whatsoever. I had literally 0% stress about the food from the moment I met her, she handled everything like a true professional and I would highly recommend! -
