    Vanessa is absolutely AMAZING at what she does. My husband and I are extremely pleased with the pictures we received. She's very sweet, funny, and responds very quickly. Not to mention she made sure to capture every picture that both my husband and I wanted. I highly recommend Portraits of Blessings!

    Vanessa was great!!! She was very attentive, very outgoing and very helpful. Wasn't sure at all what we wanted just new where we wanted have them taken! She came up with some awesome shots!!

    Vanessa is great! She is super easy to work with and makes you feel very comfortable! She responds quickly to any questions or concerns and the outcome is amazing!

    We had our wedding now and Vanessa is THE BEST! She truly helps you make it the best day ever. She did more than just take pictures ! She was willing to help us as we got ready and help with any finishing touches. She is also very outgoing and will make sure your pictures look just right.

    I planned my wedding in 3 months and one of the hardest decisions was picking a photograph. I was looking for a photographer to capture the raw moments of the day(The happy tears per se) After finding Vanessa my search was over. She was extremely responsive to all of my questions and really made me feel at ease. She captured our most precious moments of our wedding and kept me smiling the whole way through. I highly recommend her. Her photos are unique and romantic, ones that my husband and I will cherish forever. She has a a good vision for artsy photos and can also take a damn good portrait. The process was fairly simple. We started with a consultation and talked about the different types of photos and moments I wanted her to capture. Then she kept in great contact with me the whole way through. I would use her again for other life events in the years to come. Thanks Vanessa for the great work!

    Vanessa is amazing!!!!! I have used her for many weddings that I have planned so it was only right for me to use her for my personal event. She photographed my daughter's Quinceanera and as always, captured every special moment. Her work is incredible and impeccable. I will forever recommend her work and continue to not only use her professionally but personally. Thank you Vanessa for the great memories captured.

    This woman is awesome! I took a chance finding someone for our special day online and I am so glad I did :) not only did we find a great photographer for our wedding we found an amazing friend to our family. not only did we book her for our wedding but because we loved her so much and her work she took our family photos and my sons first birthday pics :) she was on time, sweet and very professional so don't hesitate :)

    Vanessa is one of the most talented and nicest photographers that I have met. I have done two sessions with her and have gotten beautiful pictures both times, even had a hard time choosing which ones I wanted because they were all amazing pictures. I absolutely without a doubt would recommend her!

    Vanessa was fantastic when we used her for our wedding in October. Not only was she extremely flexible, she came with fantastic ideas for pictures and we could tell that she was genuinely invested in who we were as a couple! The package we received after the wedding, which we got before the time she quoted us, was absolutely beautiful! The time and care she put into our pictures was incredible. We won't be using her for another wedding, but she's our go to for any photography needs that we have. The final plus, she even loved our dogs, who are like our children, and included them in the pictures as well! You're missing out if you don't use Portraits of Blessings. Simply the best around.

    Vanessa is phenomenal. We felt at ease for our wedding and she even came prepared with an emergency kit with safety pins and bobby pins! She definitely is a wedding expert. I absolutely adored having her shoot our photos, she made it all seem very natural and just fun and laid back. I would definitely book her if you want photography to go smoothly without even thinking about it.

    Planning a wedding is not simple and finding someone that will capture every moment on the most important day of your life is a lot pressure. I can not express how thankful I am with Vanessa! She is great, she cares and she super professional! Working with a budget is not simple now a days and to find someone with this much talent and top of that affordable is a challenge. At the wedding she was more than what i could ask for. Simply amazing!

    Vanessa was an amazing photographer and a great communicator! She has a great eye for what poses and backgrounds look best. Not only did she take beautiful photos, but she was also extremely helpful in helping to manage my anxiety and troubleshoot problems during the day. She truly went above and beyond. For example, while getting ready she noticed I was having trouble with the strap of my dress because it kept falling off my shoulder. She was ready to help and provided a safety pin which secured it for the whole day. Her prices were also very reasonable- in addition to wedding day services, I also ordered an album from her. All services and products were high quality and delivered in a timely mannered. Thanks Vanessa!

    Vanessa is absolutely amazing to work with! We had our engagement session with her last year. She had a lot of great ideas for locations/poses to shoot and our pictures came out amazing. We have had many compliments.

    My last post was made a few months ago. Recently I asked if she was able to do a certain photography style for my wedding and I referenced a few photos she had in her Instagram page. She responded that she had taken the photos a few years ago and didn’t know how to do it anymore. Then she suggested I cancel my contract with her. I appreciate her honesty and her thinking of how I envisioned and glad I am able to know now. I was able to get back what I had paid towards the wedding photography. Thinking back to when we had taken engagement photos I realize she was not as understanding when we were late to our session due to extremely unexpected traffic compared to our navigation ETA thus the change in score. If you like her portfolio and what you see she will be a great fit for you. Overall an okay experience compared to other vendors I have been working with throughout the planning process.

    I always have a consult with my couples before hand to review my portfolio and the needs of the couple. I was not aware that my style was not what Kirsten wated. She approved of my darker style and booked me. She was happy with the engagement session even though she had total disregard and disrespect for my time and art by showing up 45 minutes late to an hour session. She left a 5 Star review here originally. My quality, value, professionalism, and flexibility has not changed. What changed was what Kirsten wanted and now I’m paying for it. In her text to me she said my style was what she wanted for a fall engagement but she wanted bright for her summer wedding. I do not shoot bright. She referenced REALESTATE photos and ONE wedding image from my Instagram in 2014, not my portfolio. So regardless if I attempted to make her happy, I don’t think that she would be because I wasn’t certain I could replicate that look exactly. So I let her cancel, refunded her, and wished her well all with the most utmost professionalism because every bride deserves to be absolutely happy with her wedding photos. Now the review changes? All that changed is what she wanted and she only had grounds to change her review about my flexibility because I was not willing to alter my work as an artist. The only quality she can refer to was her engagement session of which she had already reviewed a 5, how does canceling her contract effect the quality? How was I not professional in handling her change of opinion? How did this effect the value of my work when she had already given me a 5?
