  Shes the best!

  Kelly is amazing! She truly made me feel so comfortable infront of the camera. She captured so many great photos of myself, my husband and all of our family and friends. I felt the energy from the night through the photos she took. I plan to book her soon for family photos. She also took my engagement photos and I love every single one of them as well. The gift bix woth a few mini photos and the UBS was such a sweet gift, unlike a regular UBS thrown into the nail you can tell she really cares. 💜💜

  Absolutely Amazing!

  Working with Kelly was absolutely amazing! I am eternally grateful that we used her for both our engagement and wedding because she gave us so many incredible photos. I love that she did an online gallery because it made it crazy easy to share with all of our friends and family. I was very self conscious about having our photos done because I’m on the curvy side, but Kelly did an absolutely incredible job and I’m in love with every single one of our photos. Some of my friends paid twice the price of what I paid for other photographers and have been disappointed in what they received, but I can definitely say that’s not the case with me. Also, we wanted to do our engagement photos in Canada at a winery that means a lot to both of us and Kelly was totally down for it! The photos she took their were creative and breathtaking. I would choose Kelly again in a heartbeat! Also her second shooter William was fantastic too! Super nice and got along well with the guys. Last but not least, our venue messed up and served dinner and hour late and Kelly and William stayed to make sure they got all of the shots of our dances, etc. Can’t thank them enough!

  I cannot recommend Kelly enough!

  Going into wedding planning, I took all the referrals I could get. My best friend had booked Kelly for her wedding, and once my husband and I met with her, we knew we wanted to work with Kelly. When we started getting more into the stressful planning time, Kelly was very quick to respond to any of my concerns or questions. On the wedding day, she made me feel so at ease. We both felt like we were just hanging out with a friend. I avoid having my photo taken and was very nervous about the prospect of a first look. It turned out I had nothing to be worried about, because Kelly made me feel so at ease. On top of her personal skills, her photos are absolutely gorgeous. She captured all the tiny details we spent so much time planning, and had some very creative ideas that gave us beautiful images of the day. She was great at directing my large family and was assertive while also friendly when getting large group shots. I honestly cannot recommend her enough- check out Poppyseed!

  Wedding Photography

  Kelly was such a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. I knew from the moment I met her that she would deliver amazing photography. She is kind, organized and her love for dogs is a plus! :) She made sure to ask what specific photos we wanted and helped to make a timeline for our day (that I shared with other vendors) We got our photos back so quickly and we have received so many compliments. I definitely recommend Kelly for wedding photography and I plan to use her in the future for other milestones.

  Wouldn’t change a thing!

  Kelly from Poppyseed Photography was just amazing! From our first meeting, I immediately felt comfortable putting our wedding in her hands. She is sweet, very receptive and open to suggestions as well as sharing her own. She kept in touch with us throughout the many months prior to our big day, making sure we were all on the same page. Kelly collects detailed information from her brides to ensure the photographs on the day of are done without missing a beat. She is a true professional, but doesn’t make you feel like you can’t joke or be yourselves at the same time. She responded to any questions we had after the wedding very quickly, as well as stuck to her timeline of receiving our photos within 6-8 weeks after the wedding. 10/10 would recommend her to anyone!

  Can't go wrong with Poppyseed Photography!

  Kelly was a total joy to work with. Because we were wedding planning from out of the area, she was totally willing to chat with us via Skype and email on a regular basis. And when we could make it out to see her, she made sure to schedule some time. She was so much fun to work with, and on the day of my wedding, she knew exactly what to say to keep my stress level down. We got so many compliments from our friends and families on our finished photos, and I'm glad to stay in touch with Kelly now after everything. On top of how great she is as a person, her prices were so reasonable, and my husband and I were able to get amazing photos within our budget.

  I can't rave enough about Poppyseed Photography! To start off with, Kelly was extremely responsive to my emails which is key when trying to plan a wedding. I was so clueless when planning our engagement photos and Kelly gave me a list of popular places that she has done previous shoots. We chose 2 areas and when we arrived Kelly was wonderful at giving us directions and getting a variety of shots and poses! I am not usually one who enjoys having my photo taken and Kelly made us feel completely at ease and I feel as if it made all the photos look more natural. All of the photos turned out amazing and I am so happy I have some wonderful (non-selfie) pictures of my fiancé and I! I certainly plan on suggesting Kelly to anyone that is looking for a photographer and I am excited to have her booked for my wedding next year!! :)

  Kelly was absolutely factious! We could not ask for a more professional and fun photographer to work with. She was always very responsive and extremely helpful with any questions we had.   Kelly Taylor (Owner) of Poppyseed Photography was our Wedding Photographer for our wedding on 07/16/16. We booked Kelly approximately one month before our Wedding as the original Photographer we booked fell ill and would no longer be able to take our wedding photos.
  My Husband and I met with several different photographers once we heard our original photographer was ill. We met with Kelly and knew immediately she was the photographer we wanted! Kelly is very knowledgable, and you can tell she really loves her job and has a great passion for it! She also has really good equipment and all of her photos are Hi Def. Kelly's photo's really tell a story and that's what I love the most about her work. I am a true believer that everything happens for a reason and we were meant to have Kelly as our Photographer. We were able to go to several different locations in between our wedding ceremony and reception, Kelly had a lot of great ideas as far locations, and poses and prior to our wedding we gave her some of the ideas and locations we wanted and we were able to do all of the poses and go to all of the locations we wanted to as well. Kelly really pays attention to detail! If something wasn't right like how my dress fell in a photo she would fix it right away. We just returned back home after being on our honeymoon for two weeks and a few short days after being home we received our Personalized USB with all of our photos!!! We couldn't be happier. They turned out amazing. It's really refreshing to see that Kelly has a true passion for what she does. And doesn't just do what she does for a living just to do it like some of the photographers we met with prior to booking Poppyseed. I've already recommended Poppyseed to some of my friends and family for all of their photography needs. And I know My Husband and I will definitely be working with Kelly again in the future. Thank You again Kelly for all of the amazing memories you captured in the photos you took on our big day! =)

  Kelly did a great job with our engagement and wedding photos! She was very kind and easy to work with throughout our wedding planning process. She gave great advice when I asked for her help deciding on hair and make-up artists. Kelly was very professional and worked quickly during our wedding day. We got our family pictures done in no time so everyone could go enjoy our cocktail hour. The final photos we received from Kelly were absolutely beautiful. She captured us and all the details of our big day perfectly!

  Takes your money and runs...

  I have heard from at least 4 other brides that Kelly has taken their money and then ghosted them. They never received any photos from their weddings and Kelly will not respond to them. Run! Do not hire Kelly Taylor from Poppyseed Photography.
