Poppy was the perfect option for our wedding!
I chose Poppy for my wedding because I did not need enough florals to meet the typical $5k-$10k minimums but I still wanted custom arrangements. As someone who knows nothing about flowers, I was having trouble articulating the vision I had in mind but Poppy understood exactly the look I was going for and nailed it! I was blown away when I saw my wedding flowers and I cherished my arrangements. I got so many compliments!

Poppy flowers did an amazing job on our flowers. The online portal and virtual consultation are so convenient. You pick your preferred style, how much of everything you need and work with a professional to stay within your budget. They deliver and install everything on the wedding day. I recommend you make an announcement at the end of the night for guests to take leftover flowers home with them. The flowers were stunning and just what we wanted. -

Where do I even begin!? Oh yeah, POPPY IS THE HIDDEN GEMS OF WEDDINGS! Wedding flowers were the toughest decision for us to make for our wedding! We knew we wanted them, but our budget definitely made us more aware of what we could or couldn't have....that's until we found Poppy. The process was sooo easy to work through. We got to chat with a designer and share our vision, select some flowers and styles and that was it. We were able to order double the number of flowers and arrangements than we could've with anyone else and I still can't get over how beautiful everything turned out. A local florist, shoutout to Christa!!, showed up and executed! I didn't have to lift a finger. The quality of flowers were amazing, I had them in my house for the next month and they were still thriving. I have to admit I was skeptical going into this, but I would do it all over again for this product. Thank you Poppy for making our wedding vision come to life in the most magical and easy way. The beautiful flowers, the tremendous hospitality service, and the unforgettable experience Poppy Flowers delivered on our wedding weekend was truly a feeling my husband and I will never forget.
We cannot describe how organized, professional, caring, and sweet the team was. Working with many vendors for our 350+ people wedding, you were hands down one of the best and our absolute favorite. The organization and work ethic were noticeable from the first conversation until the end. Not only were you all so willing to help, but the flowers were just ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS... just breathtaking and exceeded our expectations, or anyone else 's.
I know there was a ton of back-and-forth conversation (emails/video meetings, etc.) because of how big our wedding was, but it wasn't an issue for you, which we genuinely appreciate. For example, the online portal was continuously updated with the latest changes. And the check-ins on the phone were more than appreciated. We always made our conversations clear and satisfied because you made it a point to ask more than once if we had any reservations. The way you all cater to the customer's needs shows in real life.
Also, it was lovely to work with a team that was thorough, professional, and attentive, not just to my husband and me but to others there. The way you treated our friends and family was the same experience we had. And it was very noticeable to all that the staff went above and beyond to ensure that the flowers were put in the right spot and then taken elsewhere if needed. The team showed great work ethics, and everyone looked happy to be there, which made us even more grateful.
We are still receiving compliments on the flowers' quality and stunning appearance. I know I may not have talked with you the day of, but my family and friends said they also had no issues with anything! So, thank you for keeping your word and working through all the chaos. IT PAID OFF!
From the bottom of our hearts, we are so thankful and appreciate all the hard work and teamwork you all did to ensure we weren't just happy but were blown away by the result... in which we were. I (the bride) am one hard lady to impress, and I was more than ever with all of you/and the flowers. It is a day we will never forget, and we can confidently say AGAIN that Poppyflowers was one of our favorite vendors to work with. Great Quality and Value
I'm so happy we used Poppy for wedding flowers. The quality was excellent, and I felt the cost was reasonable. It was easy to work within a pre-determined budget and add/remove things to stay in budget. I liked that I could be pretty hands-on and pick each item (but they are available for recommendations, too). Perhaps most importantly, I was happy with the responsiveness of the various reps I worked with and found the process smooth. Even the day of the wedding, I found I was able to text a last-minute request re: delivery and get a quick response. The only thing I found a little challenging was estimating the exact amount of flowers that would be needed a few months in advance. Overall, for value and quality, I definitely recommend Poppy. -

When I started planning my wedding, I knew that florals were really important to me and the aesthetic that I was going for, but I also knew that I couldn’t spend a fortune. I found Poppy when I was searching for more affordable options.
I immediately spoke to an Account Manager who knew the floral industry through and through. I was able to communicate my vision and select floral options in real time via Zoom, send inspiration photos, and attach notes to every floral option I chose. The best part for me was that I got to watch my Account Manager build my proposal, so I knew everything was exactly how I wanted it.
I met my local floral designer virtually about 2.5 weeks before my wedding and was able to communicate with her pretty consistently before the wedding day.
My local designer was amazing. I was offsite getting ready and I was told that she spent hours putting together my arch florals. She was so detailed and intentional. My mom sent me a photo of my bridal bouquet and there were a few changes I wanted made last minute. My designer immediately made the changes and the bouquet turned out beautifully.
Poppy exceeded my expectations and truly brought my vision to life with the colors, textures, and arrangement of the florals. I was absolutely blown away (and so were all of our guests!)
Poppy provided top of the line florals for an affordable price so I could have my dream wedding flowers.
Couldn’t recommend them enough! And they’re a women-owned business which makes it even better to support their work.

Beautiful flowers
At first I was a little nervous ordering my wedding flowers online. I was debating going with silk flowers and renting. Because lets face it Wedding Flowers are SOOO expensive and it was discouraging. But I met with Poppy Flowers via zoom and they literally walked me through the process in less than an hour. All I had to do was share some Inspo photos and trust that they could take it from there. They definitely did not disappoint. I was wowed and obsessed with my flowers when they arrived at the venue. I would definitely recommend. -

Absolutely wonderful!!
To be honest, I was initially hesitant to go with this company because they are new. But I am so glad I did because my flowers were PERFECT. I’m not even much of a flower person, but my family insisted on real flowers for the wedding and I must say that I was very impressed. The style requests I made, the color palette, were all honored and it turned out beautifully. I will definitely recommend Poppy to anybody I know.
I had a bouquet (cascading, beautiful!!), sweetheart table arrangement, two ceremony balls, and 9 centerpieces. I don’t have all the pictures right now but they were all amazing. I highly recommend!! -

Book Poppy!!
Booking Poppy Flowers was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding vendor team. From the start, it was clear that Poppy delivered a huge selection of gorgeous wedding flowers with more flexibility and affordability than anything else we could find. We loved that we could customize the floral package to fit exactly what we needed, and the Poppy team was so communicative and friendly throughout our whole planning process. We also loved that they automatically set up a monthly payment schedule, which made payments less daunting and one less item we had to worry about remembering.
But Poppy truly shined the day of our wedding. Our florist was incredible and delivered florals beyond our wildest dreams. She was professional, timely, and kind. The florals truly elevated our day and brought our whole wedding design together. We loved that we could repurpose all of the arrangements throughout multiple events, including the ceremony, reception, and brunch the next day.
TLDR; book Poppy! You will not regret it. -

Poppy provided absolutely stunning and breathtaking florals for our wedding! Based on a few inspiration photos they were able to build us the mandap of our fairytale, pinterest-worthy dreams! Both my husband and I were blown away by how beautiful the mandap and centerpieces came out. Their work went beyond our wildest imaginations and I would highly recommend using them.
Easy to share inspiration photos and discuss over email/the portal as to what our vision was. And their team members were great at communicating what they needed to make our vision come to life.

Poppy Flowers was a great experience. It was super easy to work with the online portal to see transparent pricing as you built out your vision. Very modern. Sophia, who worked with me before the wedding, was extremely responsive in answering my questions. It was really cool to then support a local florist in Annapolis, Madeline, be in charge of assembling all our arrangements which were beautiful. Pricing was far more moderate than any local florist I had contacted which had absurd pricing as well. I’d definitely use Poppy again for baby showers, birthday, etc. in the future. Really cool concept that I think will be a jet setter for the floral industry in the future. -

Excellent and affordable
I was looking for affordable flowers for my wedding since everywhere was quoting me a minimum of 5k to even get a meeting with a florist. I found poppy flowers just goggling affordable wedding flowers. I was impressed with how easy the process was! If you are flexible with the flowers you want and are going more for a vibe than an actual “I have to have this specific look” this is the perfect place to get your flowers. My florist Victoria was amazing, she was on time when all of the other vendors were late due to traffic and she went above and beyond and even added a extra flowers to my order to make my wedding look perfect!
I would recommend poppy flowers to any bride but especially the bride that’s more flexible and doesn’t want to spend a ton on her wedding flowers. -

We were so thrilled to find Poppy. The team put together a great floral package that hit our price point exactly. We chose them over other similar services because they offered installation.

Poppy was incredible!
It was incredible to have a vision and see it come to life exactly as I imagined. The bud vases and table scape were completed perfectly. We had the bridesmaids in different color shades of dresses, so it was important that the flowers pulled everything together and they did just that. The photos were beautiful! The process of taking a test to understand my vision and being able to share my inspiration photos made the whole process feel quite simple. I would 100% recommend! -

WOW- just WOW! I don’t know even know where to start with this review, other than to say, 1.) THANK YOU, Poppy, for making our wedding so beautiful and 2.) I HIGHLY recommend Poppy to anyone needing flowers for an event!! When I initially started researching a florist for our wedding, I was so discouraged by the astronomical cost of flowers/floral design and high minimums. By some stroke of luck- I came across Poppy- this fun, female-owned, event floral company, that was SO affordable!
This company is really a game-changer- and instead of competing with small, local businesses- they work WITH THEM! They work hard to understand your vision, maintain clear communication throughout the process, order the flowers in bulk, and connect with a local florist whom executes the design and set-up.
In the planning/decision phase, I love how transparent Poppy was with pricing and OPTIONS! There was always a lower, medium, and higher-price range option to choose from. When searching other florists, it was very hard to understand what you were getting for the price.
Not only was the process easy and simple- our flowers were fresh, GORGEOUS, and were the perfect complement to our big day.
You can trust Poppy, and I will be looking for excuses to use them in the future!!

Poppy's is such a great alternative to the traditional way of obtaining floral arrangements. After looking at some local florist shops, I decided to see if there were other options to get affordable flowers (no hate on them just couldn't personally justify their prices)! Although they were based in CA (while I'm on the East Coast) and seeing that I would not see my final flowers until the wedding day, I became slightly skeptical. However, after our initial Zoom meetings and seeing other reviews, I knew that I could trust them. Their estimates were so transparent, and I loved how customizable their packages were- not to mention the choices I had for arrangements! I loved receiving the updates from them and our coordinator who set up our flowers did such a lovely job! I highly recommend this route as I saved SO much money and got even better arrangements than I could have imagined. -

Poppy Flowers did an absolutely phenomenal job with our florals for our wedding. I was referred to Poppy by a friend of mine who had her wedding in D.C., but because our wedding was in Charlottesville, I wasn't sure what to expect and whether the florals would be similar or the same service as my friend received. From the vendor selection process to the designer specialist process, Poppy knocked it out of the park! They were super informative from start to finish, and they ensured the local designer in Charlottesville had the correct floral "recipe" to make my dreams come true. When I arrived on-site I nearly cried seeing how above and beyond they went - centerpieces, wine barrel arrangements, arbor arrangements, and a mantelpiece install. It was just breathtaking. Couldn't recommend more!! -

I could not have dreamt up better florals than what Poppy Flowers created for my wedding day!! I ordered my bridal bouquet and flowers for our arch. I described my vision to Shilpa during our consultation meeting, and it was executed perfectly. I had several changes to my original contract and the team was incredibly flexible and helpful. On the day of my wedding the florals were delivered punctually and attached to our arch for us. There were even extra flowers that we could use for pictures. Our flowers were probably the most complimented aspect of our decor! Highly recommend.

Poppy Flowers, the best last minute decision we could've made!
Poppy Flowers did a beautiful job with colorful, bright bud vases for our rehearsal dinner at Hill Country BBQ in Washington D.C. It was exactly what I was looking for at the budget I was trying to keep, I felt like we got a great product for the price. We reached out another local wedding florist who quoted us nearly twice as much. After inquiring online, Rachel from the Poppy team called me immediately, and was extremely helpful and accommodating even though our project was relatively small in scale. The email communication throughout with Lindsay and Hannah was clear, concise, and proactive. The slideshow visuals are extremely helpful, and the turnaround was really fast in getting an estimate and photos of what our project would look like. It felt like like working with a professional project manager in the best way. Our designer Melody Liu absolutely nailed our vision and created a casual, lively, fun look for our rehearsal dinner. The flowers were so high quality we used them again at our Sunday post-wedding brunch, and they looked just as good as they did Friday evening. Working with Poppy Flowers was great! They streamlined the flowers process for a great price. We had a small wedding so only needed a bridal bouquet and boutonnière and it was super easy and affordable to make that happen. I would especially recommend for a micro-wedding, if you want beautiful flowers with a streamlined decision making process. The day of, my flowers arrived early and they did great through the whole day!

I met Cameron, the founder of Poppy, at a wedding expo shortly after getting engaged in 2019. I met a few floral vendors that day but when I went to Poppy's website, I could see that they emphasized value and ease, which are so important with florals. It is so easy to get decision-paralysis with these aesthetic details so I needed someone who knew how to combat that. I connected with their messaging right away, and Cameron's resume was impressive. We finalized all of the details with their amazing and quick proposal and it was squared away. Then the pandemic happened! I eventually decided to pivot to a micro-wedding and only needed a bouquet, a boutonniere, and a dog collar. I spoke with a few different members of the Poppy team, including Rachel, Shilpa, and Megan. Everyone was extremely professional and totally understood my vision. My final product was exactly what I wanted, which is classic but trendy, colorful but not too colorful, and so unique. I contradicted myself so many times while describing what I wanted, yet they completely understood! I would definitely recommend them to anyone planning a micro-wedding and look forward to working with them again on a bigger future event. -

Poppy provide my dream wedding flowers at a reasonable price with superb customer service. I was able to get exactly what I wanted with flexibility and assistance. From the day I submitted my inquiry, I worked with Megan, who helped me through the entire wedding planning process. Megan sent me a proposal and worked with me to customize until we found exactly what I wanted. Even with our change of date and location because of COVID (several times) they were extremely flexible is making sure we got everything we needed, on time, and exactly as requested. They even adjusted for me to fit my new budget, new venue with different flower needs at the last minute. A HUGE lifesaver when there was so much chaos during COVID. Can't recommend Poppy enough (and I have to all my Bride friends)! -

Poppy Flowers made our wedding vision come to life and beyond - could not recommend them more!
I stumbled across Poppy while trying to plan our backyard microwedding in October 2020 (on just a few weeks' notice) and I could not be more happy that I did. We were hoping for a colorful and fun take on a Hindu wedding, but had spoken with a few vendors who were either extremely expensive or did not seem to understand our vision (or both). Poppy and its incredible team not only understood our vision, but took it to another level (and for a lot less than we had been quoted from other vendors). I am still in awe about how seamless the entire process was, notwithstanding the tight timeline--from design to installation to breakdown after the event. I did not have a wedding planner and was not stressed at all about our florals, either in the leadup to our wedding or on our wedding day. And to top it off, Poppy is women-owned and prioritizes sustainable sourcing of its flowers. I could not recommend Poppy more to anyone who is planning a wedding or event! -

I can not recommend Poppy enough! When we began wedding planning, picking flowers was easily the most daunting part for me. I think flowers are beautiful but I legit know nothing about them, and everyone always warns you about expensive they are. I’d done some browsing and started some conversations with local florists, but when I learned about Poppy from a friend, I decided to take their style quiz online and the rest is history. From the minute the process started, the team at Poppy was SO friendly, patient, and helpful, and they never made me feel like I was asking dumb flower questions even though I probably was.
Throughout all of the twists and turns of wedding planning during a global pandemic, Rachel and the rest of the Poppy team was RIGHT there each step of the way, patiently helping me not only tweak my vision to fit our day as it shifted in a million ways, but also going above and beyond in customer service, listening and supporting me through all of the frustrations, disappointments, and anxiety that come with Covid wedding planning.
The morning of our wedding the most beautiful arrangements were delivered to us (rather than us picking up - another last minute change in plans on my part that Poppy and the team totally rolled with!!) and they were perfect - exactly spot on what we’d hoped for. Arrin even tied my grandmothers’ wedding rings onto my bouquet at the last second in the driveway outside our venue when I asked her to.
To any other brides feeling stumped about flowers, or even considering just going to a craft store or looking online for fake flowers because you “don’t care about flowers” or “don’t want to break the bank”, CHOOSE POPPY. I promise you will not be disappointed! -

During a year when it seems like nothing can be easy, Poppy was hands down the easiest choice we made for our wedding! Not only was communication simple and straightforward through the whole process (and fun! that quiz!) but their pricing was clear and upfront from the start. Not to mention Poppy's willingness to pivot with us when the pandemic shifted our wedding from a full-scale 200 person affair to a low-key 20 guest event in the woods was more appreciated than we can say. Poppy Flowers
My wedding was virtual and very last minute. I contacted Poppy Flowers 10 days before the event and we had a telephone conversation to discuss my initial thoughts and color choices. They followed up immediately with ideas and photographs. Flowers have such meaning and I wanted to incorporate flowers that reflect where I live now (DC) and also as I am British, I wanted to incorporate traditional and symbolic UK bridal bouquet flowers such as myrtle. I cannot rate the team at Poppy Flowers highly enough. They listened to everything and did not hesitate to contact me if they needed clarification. They were kind, responsive, and professional, and worked closely with me to give me the flowers of my dreams while also sticking closely to my (pretty small!) budget. I found this company through word of mouth, and have no regrets! It was easy to talk with them about my vision, and they prepared a proposal that gave me a breakdown of each item going into my floral arrangement. I could add, delete or alter at whim and know exactly what it was going to cost! When coronavirus torpedoed my wedding plans, they were gracious and flexible, allowing me to exchange my deposit for a bouquet and boutonniere. Lastly, the arrangements were beautiful! There was even a foraged vine in my arrangement, a personal touch I just loved. Highly recommend! -

Poppy is a fabulous service! Working with the coordinator to determine my floral needs and styles was a dream process. Additionally, the team created the arch of my dream! The primary reason I gave a 4 instead of a 5 is that the team initially dropped off the wrong boutonniere colors for the groomsmen and fathers. Additionally, there were no care instructions shared for the bridal bouquets and I found myself tearing several drooping flowers off of my bouquet to prevent drawing attention to the parts of the bouquet that looked limp and dead prior to the wedding ceremony ever occurring. Again, overall. I was very happy with the service! -

Before choosing Poppy, the flowers for my wedding were one of the items I stressed out about the most. I knew I didn't want to spend a lot of money on flowers but I still wanted some kind of flowers to decorate our wedding venue with. Poppy was the perfect choice. They have an assessment quiz that helps determine what types of flower items to choose so that you get a price estimate upfront. They also work with local florists who work with you with flower types, color palettes, and inspiration photos to get down the particular look of flowers you're going for. While the communication was a little confusing (my Poppy specialist changed from my original specialist and I wasn't a big fan of communicating through their site) I was genuinely surprised at how pretty my flowers turned out and I got so many compliments from our guests. I would highly recommend anyone getting married look into using Poppy for wedding flowers! One of the best decisions I made. -

They were wonderful! They created a google slide show to help us plan our wedding and to show us the different options for bouquets, centerpieces, etc. Their communication was excellent. I loved my bouquet, it was exactly what I wanted. They were able to work well with our venue to create beautiful table arrangements. We had ordered an arch from Amazon and they were able to decorate it (basically sight unseen). They were prompt with set up and clean up and we enjoyed how they donate the flowers to nursing homes. -

We're from DC and got married in NYC and really never considered using another florist after seeing the amazing photos from other Poppy microweddings. I showed them a photo of what I wanted and they delivered EXACTLY what I was looking for. A few weeks before, they confirmed the color scheme and plan and I was relieved by the great communication and planning process. As you can see from the photos, the bridal bouquet was the star of our microwedding. Every time we show someone a photo, the first thing they say is how amazing the bouquet is. We also got boutonnieres and corsages for our parents and the best man and a smaller bouquet for the maid of honor, which also turned out great. Where can I start with Poppy? If you’re considering using Poppy for your wedding flowers, do it! Poppy ended up being one of the best decisions of our wedding. Before booking Poppy, I reached out to many brides on IG and they all had wonderful things to say so I decided to give them a shot. Poppy’s platform is easy to use and fully customizable, the designers are readily available to answer any questions along the way. However, it is still nerve wracking because we are unable to see the final design before your wedding day, but rest assured, it will be beautiful! I submitted photos of my vision, along with flowers and colors I wanted to avoid and they nailed it. I was nervous because I was wanting a more unique color profile and flower choices, and they created my vision better than I could have imagined. The flowers were fresh and lasted throughout the day and were usable for our morning after brunch. They delivered and set up the flowers on time without an issue, and even dropped off my bouquet at a different location free of charge. In San Francisco, bare minimum wedding flowers were quoted at $12,000+. With Poppy, I ordered as many flower arrangements as I could possibly want, with set up and delivery fees coming out to $6,000. Poppy will save your wedding budget! Thank you so much! -

We used Poppy for our wedding reception. The flowers were beautiful- but there were many issues that arose during the planning process and even upon delivery to the venue. Due to issues with the venue and COVID restrictions, we were not sure if we would be able to have our wedding reception until 3 months ahead of time. I was extremely nervous about finding a florist in such a short amount of time, but I had seen many social media advertisements of Poppy Flowers and I have optimistic that they would be a great choice for us. We mostly needed some centerpieces, bridal bouquet, and groom boutonniere. I was quickly able to meet with a salesperson and we met virtually to pick out the flowers. There were so many beautiful arrangements and I really enjoyed the process of going through the multiple options at various price points. I quickly put down a deposit to reserve my date and then communication became increasingly difficult with the Poppy Flowers staff. It would be a week between emails or more, and I was getting very nervous if I had made a mistake with choosing them. It is always incredibly stressful to plan a wedding and not being able to get in contact with your florist makes it even more stressful. I reached out to the salesperson I was working with, along with multiple emails I found on the website, and did eventually hear back and the communication issue did resolve about a month out from the reception.
The morning of the wedding, I went to check in with the florist who delivered the flowers and see how the setup was going. During every meeting with the Poppy Flowers staff, I had mentioned how much I loved anemones and wanted some in my bouquet. So I was incredibly disappointed when there were no anemones in my bouquet. The florist did not have that in her notes at all (she showed me). She did have some extra flowers not in arrangements for the cake/touchups so she was able to add a couple anemones in, which I was extremely thankful for. Also, when I was checking in on the florist, I saw that the choice of flower (color size) was different than discussed for some of the centerpiece arrangements.
Again, all of my flowers were beautiful, but they were not exactly what I had asked for and the amount of stress I had through the entire planning process, including the wedding reception day, was entirely too high. I know that my situation was unique, with planning a wedding reception in about 2 months and that not many vendors would even consider working with me. Because of these experiences, I would be skeptical to recommend Poppy Flowers to a friend. -

I was very excited to receive my flowers from poppy. But when they arrived I wasn’t so pleased they looked like they were wilting and a lot of my flowers looked brown. As soon as I picked up my bridesmaid bouquet a flower snapped off. My bridal bouquet three of my flowers snapped off and my flowers looked brown in color. They did not do my grooms boutonnière any different from the other ones like I asked !!!! I spent 1000$ for not good quality. -

I was hugely influenced by positive online reviews of Poppy. However, looking back, I would not choose them for my wedding flowers again. My experience reflects what might be obvious to some: Poppy is a middleman vendor. They are a service that works with florists. At best, this should make life easier for brides and for florists. At worst, having a service in between a bride and the florist makes communication more complex and confusing and increases the likelihood of errors. Essentially, you communicate directly with a Poppy representative who is then responsible for conveying your wishes to a florist, approving their floral designs, and managing instructions for the wedding day itself. This can take the customer service burden off of the florist. It also makes it so a bride/groom does not have to communicate feedback/ideas directly to the florist. However, in my case, it meant that many of the wishes I shared with my Poppy floral designer never made it to the florist. For example, I said I hated roses and rosettes and would prefer ANY flower over those. When I received my flowers the day of the wedding, both my bouquet and my maid of honor's were FULL of roses. I told my floral designer that I loved pink shades in an autumnal color scheme, but they must be muted/soft pinks to match oranges and peaches and maroons, and NOT hot pink. On the day of the wedding, the florist delivered three hot pink floral rose boutonnieres and plenty of bright pink roses in my bouquet.
These are just a few examples of the multiple points of feedback that I had shared with Poppy in advance did not make it into the final bouquet. To me, this was deeply disappointing. It also demonstrates to me the danger of playing "telephone" with your flowers. If you choose Poppy, you are losing direct communication with your florist and must trust Poppy's designers to accurately communicate your desires. Unfortunately, I do not think they can be trusted to do that. I emailed Poppy on the day of my wedding expressing my concern and frustration, and still have not received a reply. To me, this reflects how little accountability there is on their end. The Poppy interface and communication was chaotic from the time I booked. I wish I had just booked a florist in my area who I could have communicated with directly. I paid over $1600 for my florals - and I have no doubt I could have received a much higher value from a local florist for that amount. I chose Poppy to make the coordination easier. Since they did not fulfill that mandate, I wish I had just taken the responsibility myself.
As a final point, my wedding coordinators learned from the florist herself that the florist received less than 20% of the money that I paid to Poppy. This is shocking to me, all the more so because I found Poppy to be an inadequate liaison - but that's ultimately the majority of what I paid for.
