Pond View is an amazing wedding venue. The location and set up are stunning, the price is extremely reasonable for the value, but what really makes it stand out is the owners Barb and Randy. They are so sweet and helpful, and they know how to make their venue everything you want it to be. They are incredibly flexible, generous, and understanding during the stresses of planning the wedding. We would recommend Pond View to anyone looking for a place to hold their perfect day! -

Pond View Barn was everything we had wanted in a venue! The venue owners are super accommodating and so kind! They treated us like we were one of their own and did not have to worry about anything leading up to our special day. They asked questions ahead of time and helped take everything down at the end of the night. Besides the gorgeous venue and kind people, I loved that they had all of the tables and chairs there, and plenty of decorations/table clothes so we didn’t really have to bring a whole lot. Pond View will forever hold a special place in my heart!❤️ -

Pond View Barn!
Randy and Barb were amazing to work with at Pond View Barn. Their remodeled barn and acreage are nothing short of amazing! My husband and I couldn't thank Pond View Barn enough for the wonderful location and friendly and welcoming atmosphere! They're truly great at what they do! The sweetest edition to Pond View Barn is their new pup, Sammy. She's a true sweetheart and you'll fall in love with her! -

Barb and Randy are amazing. What a gorgeous property they have and how incredible that they are willing, through hard work, to share this space with others. Our son was married at Pond View Barn and we had the most excellent experience. The grounds are amazing, not only the natural beauty, but the facilities are superb! We especially enjoyed the area for the bride and her people to get ready for the big day. Barb and Randy could not be more accommodating and helpful in all regards while maintaining a chill and cheery, can-do, attitude. They really know their audience and are there to provide a beautiful experience for you. We were so pleased with our time spent on their lovely property. -

Great to work with and helped with set up and tear down. Lots of behind the scenes work to help everything run smooth. Super easy to work with and make our vision become reality. The have lots of options to do lots of different and unique things. Laid back and not as strict as a lot of the other wedding venues. Very rustic and county / outdoors feel. -

Barb and Randy own the venue and they are the sweetest people. They are very helpful with any questions I had and allowed me to go to the venue a month prior to figure out how I was going to set up tables. The bridal suite so nice and spacious. They have golf carts to take guests to the ceremony location and the barn which was very nice especially for my grandma. Multiple guests have told me how pretty the venue was since our wedding. I would highly recommend! -

Barb and Randy are awesome hosts and very willing to work with whatever you want. The venue is beautiful!!! Great to have the place on Friday too!
Barb and Randy were very flexible when we needed to adjust a couple things in order to wait out rain to have our outdoor ceremony. They had towels ready to wipe down chairs and helped give the bride exactly what she wanted for an outdoor ceremony on a day that the weather didn't cooperate as well! The venue had many beautiful things already in place to make decorating so much easier. Having the day on Friday to get ready made the wedding day less stressful and more enjoyable. The place where the girls got ready was beautiful, spacious and a great gathering spot for the bride and her girls. I highly recommend this venue for your wedding! -

Spectacular Wedding Venue!
We had an amazing experience using Pond View as our wedding venue! Planning can get stressful at times, but Barb and Randy made it so easy for us. They allowed us to come out several times throughout the year to see the space and make plans. The property itself is beautiful and the barn is absolutely stunning. There are so many unique places for wedding photos, you can choose where to have your ceremony on site, AND they have a lot of decorations available for you to use if you would like.
On top of that, Barb and Randy go above and beyond to make sure your wedding day is as perfect as it can be. We had some issues with rain leading up to our wedding, and they kept an eye on the weather report all week long to make sure we knew what all of our options were as the day got close. They were on site all weekend long and were more than happy to help with anything. They even stepped in to help the caterers when our dinner went long and they had to pack up and leave before we were finished!
I would highly recommend Pond View to anybody looking for a rustic and romantic venue for their wedding! -

Barb and Randy, where the easiest to people who have ever worked with, I would totally have my wedding here if I could again, they were very helpful everyone that attended got along well with them. Randy even took my uncle out in the golf cart around the grounds they let us bring in our own decorations which was absolutely fantastic and it’s great that you got three days there. Would give them 1000 stars if I could! -

Absolutely wonderful people!
We are so glad we chose this venue. Barb and Randy are amazing people. They were extremely helpful and made us feel like family. It was so nice to have all our rehersal supper, ceremony and reception all in one place. No hidden fees. It is a beautiful place. -

Barb and Randy were there for us every step of the way. They made us feel like family. Their calm demeanor helped us through our worries, they had everything under control and even helped us setup and tear down. We can’t say enough good things for them, but we would 100% recommend getting ahold of them and booking your next event at the Pond View Barn. -

Excellent Venue!
You get it for 3 days! You can have everything in one place. Friday for set up and rehearsal. Saturday for the wedding outside on such beautiful land and then the reception and dance! Sunday morning clean up!
Excellent venue, incredible owners, who guide and help you through it all. We had such a beautiful wedding and are so grateful we choose Pond View Barns! -

My wedding day was absolutely perfect! Randy and Barb are amazing to work with and are so helpful when organizing your special day. They are extremely easy to work with and have many amenities (kitchens, golf cart, wagons, AV system, and play area for kids) that are so helpful with rehearsal dinner and for the big day. They are incredibly kind people and their dog (Sugar) is an added bonus with this venue. We also had our dog be a part of our wedding and he had the best time out there. The venue is perfect for outdoor weddings as their property has breath taking landscaping and a beautiful pond. If my husband and I were to renew our vows in the future I would do everything over at this venue. -

Amazing Venue!
Pond View Barn is a simply amazing venue with immaculate grounds and a beautiful barn to accommodate inside or outside ceremonies and receptions. What makes Pond View so very special though is the owners Randy and Barb. They go above and beyond to not only make sure your special day goes smoothly, but they make everyone (even your guests!) feel like family. They have tables and chairs for use for outside and inside. Just bring decorations, but they even have some of that for use also! Randy and Barb were amazing for helping set up, their expertise was invaluable. The day of the wedding they were there greeting guests, helping with parking and assisting all day. They even have golf carts for use for those with mobility issues. Randy and Barb have truely thought of everything to make sure your whole experience goes smoothly and is stress free. The barn is gorgeous and already beautifully decorated with lights and tulle. There is a lower level with tables, chairs and a gorgeous fireplace that we used for a social area that walks out to a beautiful patio that was enjoyed by all. Randy and Barb even offered up their home for the bridal party to use to get ready. The rustic barn and immaculate grounds were the perfect background for our pictures and wedding. Absolutely wonderful, perfect venue!! -

So very amazing!
I knew and visited this venue before even getting engaged. When I did a walk through, the owners remembered me and they were just as excited as I was! They were so easy to work with and the barn was so easy to decorate and make our own. It was a great experience and a joy to have our wedding here! -

We had our wedding at Pondview on 8/10/19, and it was absolutely perfect! Barb and Randy treated us like family and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible experience. We heard our guests say over and over that the venue was awesome and it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to. Words just can’t express how grateful we are to Barb and Randy for everything they did to make sure we had the wedding of our dreams. And that’s just what it was! -

Victoria Sent on 09/17/2018Very lovely venue and amazing couple to work with. They helped however they could to make our day perfect. We visited a couple times to scout the place out and figure out decorations and such, and they were always very welcoming and open to us visiting. The venue itself has so much natural character too. There are countless places at the venue for taking amazing photos. Everyone that attended commented on what a lovely place it was to have my wedding. Another big perk was having the flexibility between outdoor and indoor. I didn't have to worry about renting a tent if it rained. The barn would have been a lovely place to setup the ceremony as well if weather did not cooperate. Definitely loved everything about this venue and of course loved meeting Barb and Randy (and their pup)!!

Heather Sent on 11/14/2017We held my mother-in-law's 70th birthday party at Pondview Barn, and it was the perfect setting. There was plenty of space inside and out for our guests to eat, talk, and play. The rustic charm of the barn allowed us to do minimal decorating as it wasn't needed to make the space warm and inviting - we only added tablecloths, flowers, and tea lights in mason jars to the tables. There is a refrigerator and sink that allowed us to do some last minute food prep, which was handy. Barb and Randy were also available to help us find odds and ends on the morning of the event, and they were easy to work with. Thank you!

When we toured the property in January of 2017, we were blown away: multiple event spaces (perfect for a separate rehearsal dinner and reception), indoor and outdoor ceremony options, and plenty of room for parking, games, and beautiful photos. From day one Randy and Barb were responsive, open to our (thousands of) questions and requests, and allowed us to create a wedding that truly reflected us a as a couple. Could not speak higher about them - both as a couple and as event planning partners.

Shirley Sent on 11/03/2017If you are looking for a venue with rustic charm, creative options, and owners that make you feel like family, the Pond View Barn will check all your boxes. This heavenly place is just 60 minutes from the Twin Cities and 30 minutes from Rochester, which made it ideal for our guests. Ten tree-filled acres surrounded by fields of corn and soybeans provided several backdrop options for the outdoor ceremony. The night before our wedding, we arranged to have the Groom's Dinner in the barn's walk-out basement, which has its own fireplace and patio aglow with bistro lights. For the reception, we decorated the main floor of the barn with garland, and planned to use the loft for the ceremony in case of rain. Barb and Randy have thought of so many details that add value to this venue. They have sound systems for use in both the basement and barn, golf carts to help transport guests, banquet tables & chairs for 100, a kitchen available for use, handicap-accessible restroom and ramp for entry into the barn, a bonfire complete with warm blankets, and they even allowed the bridal party to prep in their home. The list goes on and on. We especially appreciated the fact that they book just one wedding per weekend. This gave us plenty of time to set up and clean up, so we could relax and enjoy our daughter's wedding day. Many venues require you to work with specific vendors -- but we were allowed to bring in our own vendors, which helped keep our DIY wedding on budget. Barb and Randy made our family feel like a special part of their family.

The Kirkoff’s are enjoyable to work with and go above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of a smooth running operation. They offer many extras that are sure to enhance anyone’s experience. They were knowledgeable in the wedding planning process, and were readily available to answer questions, offer advice and support. Pondview Barn is a must see and Barb and Randy are people I would absolutely recommend doing business with. My husband and I, as well as, everyone who attended our wedding feel in love with the venue, you are sure to not be disappointed!

Pond View Barn has so much more than the quaint and rustic charm of a Midwest barn wedding venue. Here are a couple of highlights, including things that often get overlooked by folks when planning a wedding:
1.) Food - Our caterers were overwhelmingly pleased by how well set-up Pond View was to make their job easy. Things run smoothly when vendors have all the resources they need on site! Not all barn venues are this well set-up. An added bonus for us was the flexibility we had in choosing food options for our guests--we did not have to pick from a pre-set list (though vendor recommendations are provided as a reference).
2.) Decorations - You can go all-out Pinterest if that's your thing, but we were not huge decorators. Get some table cloths, flowers in mason jars, and call it a day if you prefer--the barn looks beautiful as is!
3.) Ceremony Sites - We had complete flexibility in choosing a spot on the property for the ceremony. Some sites make you determine whether or not to move the ceremony indoors in the event of bad weather at least one day in advance. Randy and Barb were willing to help us make the call and make a change up to just a couple of hours before the ceremony. We ended up lucking out with fantastic weather, but if we were asked to make the decision the day before it would have been unnerving to bank on good weather.
4.) Hospitality - We cannot thank Randy and Barb enough for not only assisting with wedding day logistics but LITERALLY inviting us to their home. Pond View Barn felt like joining their family (in a good way!), and that made the weekend all the more relaxing, fun, and joyful.
5.) Price Point - The popularity of barn wedding venues is on the rise, and so is the price point. Pond View isn't necessarily a "cheap" barn venue option, but it is competitive. Plus, the value, both with tangible and intangible services, is 100% worth it. -
