Pond Oaks is located 50 minutes from Los Angeles and Orange County, just far enough off the beaten path to feel like a destination wedding, but not so far that guests won't come to your wedding. The all-inclusive packages were the best value by far that I found during all of my research (which was extensive as I didn't have the funds to hire a wedding planner!) There are packages suitable to any budget, and they include florals, linens, tables, chairs, plates, glasses, cutlery, decor, dj, catering, bar, and a day of coordinator that was absolutely superb. The only thing we had to provide was our alcohol (which was a plus because we were able to purchase what we wanted, at the best value) and the officiant. The team at Pond Oaks is professional, kind and caring, and a pleasure to work with. They also help with photographer/videographer recommendations, working with people who have experience at the venue to capture the natural beauty of the surrounding area. The option to add a photo booth was so much fun for my friends and family, and we received all of the photos of our guests enjoying our special day. My wedding far exceeded my expectations and several of my guests expressed it was the best wedding they had ever been to.Pond Oaks by Mountain Meadow Events's reply:

The wedding of my dreams
Pond oaks is a beautiful outdoor venue. The owners are very personable and work hard to make the bride and groom's dream come true. They listened to me and my family while we met to go over what we envisioned and brought creative suggestions to us when needed. They were very helpful and when life kept throwing out wedding curveballs, they worked with us to get through it. They made it seem like no problem ever occurred. The venue itself is stunning and has a rustic vibe. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves the charm of the outdoors and wants to feel supported from the staff during the stressful process of getting married.Pond Oaks by Mountain Meadow Events's reply:

Magical rainy wedding day
We are beyond happy with our choice to go with Pond Oaks as our wedding venue. From start to finish everything was easy and very convenient. Pond Oaks has amazing packages which take care of pretty much everything! They offer add-ons to packages as well. We added in Hook-ups Events Mobile Trailer Photo-booth. With that and the most perfect mountain setting they were perfect for our day. On our wedding we did not plan for rain, there was no rain the in forecast at all and Pond Oaks jumped into action and provided us with comfort and reassurance that our day would still be happening. Things were shifted and tents were brought it for our guest and everything worked out perfectly. Our guest still rave about how amazing all the event staff was in keeping everyone dry and how delicious all the food and drinks were. Our perfect rainy wedding day went off without a hitch because of Jennifer and Caylee and their amazing team at Pond Oaks.Pond Oaks by Mountain Meadow Events's reply:

My Husband and I hold a special place in our hearts for Mt.Baldy as this mountain started our beginning together 6 years ago! Without hesitation we knew Pond Oaks would be the most perfect venue to say “I Do”. We set our wedding date for 11.05.22 and never looked back!
Everything about this beautiful “all inclusive” wedding venue was a dream come true!! Planning our wedding here was one of the most easiest and fun thing we’ve ever done! The dream team working with Jen and Caylee was nothing but amazing and we had so much trust in them in every aspect of our wedding!
We are thankful and so happy with the beautiful floral that caylee had worked so hard making for us! Every single detail down to the champagne entrance, beautiful decor that they nailed perfectly, amazing food vendor, we LOVED our cake, the sweetest bartender that kept our glasses filled! , poppin’ DJ that we had so many excited guests with the music all night long! We are SO thankful for everyone of the staff who pulled this beautiful day off!!
We believe that the Lord has blessed the Mitchell and Chapman family with His trust to put together His dream for His children to become one.

While I never envisioned a specific location for my wedding, this venue surpassed any dream I could have imagined. Nestled under enchanting oak trees, it offered a fairytale-like atmosphere that made marrying my best friend even more magical.
The months of planning with this family-owned venue played an invaluable role. Their meticulous attention to detail ensured a day overflowing with joy and laughter. They share an impressive network of vendors, and their staff's kindness and dedication extended well beyond expectations.

This review is long overdue. We can not adequately express our gratitude for the absolutely perfect wedding we had at Pond Oaks. After two other failed venues due to unforeseen circumstances, we were about to give up hope that we would be able to find somewhere to celebrate our day with family and friends. Enter our angel Jen (and her family)...Literally a miracle from God. If we could give 1000+ stars we would. Not only for providing us with a gorgeous setting and a myriad of special touches, but also for the extreme patience and kindness shown to this very rattled bride during a stressful time. She was always there with comforting words, amazing recommendations, and a solution to any problem. She communicated expertly with vendors and made sure we didn't have to wonder or worry about a thing. She allowed us all the creative space to make it our own. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed breathing in the sweet mountain air and swinging and meandering under the mighty oaks and we received many compliments about how spoiled and refreshed they felt. Our heartfelt thanks for being so instrumental in creating a magical day for us. We will never forget it...or you.

The most beautiful venue surrounded by beautiful oak trees and AMAZING staff! The owners really thought of everything when designing this venue. The lighting at your ceremony will be perfect thanks to the amazing wedding coordinator. This is something not every venue focuses on which is SO important for those gorgeous wedding photos. My husband and I searched for venues for the longest time when we first got engaged. We had a budget in mind, but we weren’t totally aware of all that goes into planning a wedding, unaware of the cost of renting things needed. I originally wanted a DIY and quickly learned that was a stressful route, so I searched for an all-inclusive wedding venue. Many venues I went to sold us on the “all-inclusive” impressions, but when getting down to the final discussions, we quickly learned that there were all these added costs at the end of the day.
One thing you get when choosing pond oaks, 100% transparency. Many venues hid last minute costs, but Pond Oaks included every cost possible, besides any additional guests or add-ons we may have had.
The planning and coordination process. Seamless. I could be as DIY as I wanted or leave it up to their expertise to execute things I couldn’t figure out on my own- and every expectation was met and most exceeded. I was blown away. When I felt like I was drowning in planning, they were there to pick up the pieces, guide me and help me navigate.
The day of- the system, staff, vendors, timeline. Perfect. There was not a single thing that went missed. Not a single thing that fell out of place and for the things that did- they did an amazing job of making sure things were handled & that I wasn’t focused on anything other than my special day.
My friends and family still talk about my wedding day and reminisce on how perfect it was. They talk about the venue and it’s natural beauty, the kind and helpful staff and the overall energy and ambiance that you get when you step into the gates of Pond Oaks.

Pond oaks is the most beautiful and magical outdoor venue tucked away in the mountains. The venue is right off the main highway but once you are inside you feel like you are completely secluded somewhere far away. Jennifer and Caylee were amazing to work with from start to finish. They are very flexible and just so sweet, you will feel welcomed right away.
A huge plus is that the venue includes catering in the packages leaving the bride/groom with less stress on trying to source vendors. There are many different food options to choose from and the bakery they use is amazing as well.
The way they present and decorate the venue is so beautiful and creative. I am a type A personality and wanted things to be done/look a certain way; with Jennifer and Caylee in charge I didn’t feel the need to be super specific with my vision. I knew we were on the same page the whole time. Caylee does the florals for the events and her work is incredible and once again, exactly what I was looking for. Our day, 10/6/23 was so beautiful with all the fall vibes. We got so many compliments from all our guests. Many said it was the most beautiful wedding venue they’ve ever been to!
All in all the value of what you get for your money at Pond Oaks compared to other venues is incredible. It’s beautiful and affordable! We would recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding or other special event venue. Thank you Jennifer and Caylee!!Pond Oaks by Mountain Meadow Events's reply:

Pond Oaks was the first wedding venue that my now husband and I viewed when planning our wedding, after meeting with Caylee and talking with Jennifer we knew that it was the venue for us. Get married here!
This place is entirely family-run by locals with strong roots in the community, and they make you feel like part of the fam! We got so many compliments on our wedding venue, the use of the space, and how well everything flowed. So much so that TWO couples who attended are "stealing it" from us to use for their own nuptials next year. We felt so taken care of the entire planning process, and even though we knew it would be beautiful on our wedding day, we were completely blown away when we got there on the day. The venue totally transforms and was stunning, personalized to us, and made us want to have every event ever there! Jennifer was sweet, communicative, and thought of everything, Caylee's flowers were unbelievable, the decor was perfect, the food was excellent, and our day-of coordinator nailed every moment. For any queer couples out there- we're a lesbian couple and they made us feel absolutely welcome, celebrated, and at home in their beautiful small mountain town.

Pond Oaks is absolutely amazing! From efficiency to accommodations and every small detail in between they are simply the best! I am so happy we had the opportunity to have our wedding at this beautiful venue. They took the time to address all our questions and concerns and were always very thorough and easy to get in touch with which truly helped provide me a sense of ease and help me know everything was going to be perfect during my most anxious days. I am not one to be able to just place the reigns in others’ hands but Jennifer and Caylee made it very easy for me to do so. Because of them and everyone at Pond Oaks our wedding was absolutely perfect and I can honestly say I wouldn’t go back and change a thing. All I had to do was provide a vision and they went above and beyond and GREATLY exceeded our expectations. If you don’t book with Pond Oaks you’re truly missing out!
