We hired Gina to help with the final few months and the day of the wedding. She was there with a clipboard to guide us every step of the way. Her sweet smile and soothing demeanor took away all our worries. Everything went perfectly even though we added some surprise challenges (live raptors, for example). On the day, it all flowed without a hitch and we had the time of our lives. Thank you Gina for being our guide to a happy day! -

We couldn’t have been happier with Alyssa from Poised Events! From day one, she was incredibly friendly, professional, and organized—exactly what we needed to help our wedding day run perfectly. She was always available to connect, offered thoughtful advice on vendors and details, and maintained great communication with everyone involved.
We got married at Spruce Mountain Ranch, which has a lot of moving parts, and Alyssa handled it all with ease. She stayed on top of every detail and made sure everything went off without a hitch. Our guests and vendors loved working with her just as much as we did!
We truly couldn’t have done it without Alyssa. If I could give her 6 stars, I would in a heartbeat. Thank you so much, Alyssa—you made our day unforgettable! -

Donnah / Poised Events was on the preferred vendors list for our wedding venue (Blackstone Rivers Ranch) and we were so happy we went with her as our planner. We hired Donnah as our month-of planner but she was always willing to answer questions and offer ideas at every point along the way. She was super helpful and efficient in the preparation and lead up, and the day of she was calm, cool, and collected while also keeping things running on time. I highly recommend Donnah and team for any wedding planning and coordination needs! -

From the very first moments we chatted with Donnah, we just knew she was the perfect planner for our wedding. It felt like we were becoming best friends right away!
All we really had in mind was that we wanted a fall wedding and a fun, unique way to blend our two family cultures. We didn’t have a concrete vision, but we knew our top priorities were the ceremony, delicious food, good drinks, and great music.
With all our ideas bouncing around, Donnah was so patient and helpful. She offered tons of creative suggestions and guided us as we figured out what we really wanted. We even had a blast visiting mountain venues together, only to later decide on something totally different in downtown Denver.
Both my husband and I can be a bit of overthinkers and love to ask lots of detailed questions. Donnah was amazing and happily answered every single one of them. She was always a quick call or text away whenever we needed her. Plus, she gave us fantastic recommendations for other vendors.
Our wedding turned out absolutely incredible, and every detail was handled perfectly. We received so many compliments afterward; it was almost overwhelming! On the day, whenever we asked Donnah where something was or if something was happening, she always reassured us with, “It’s taken care of.” We never had to worry; all we did was enjoy the day!
Donnah has a treasure trove of knowledge and insider tips to share. She’s not just an amazingly talented planner but also an all-around wonderful person! -

Donnah is the best!
Donnah is everything you would want in a wedding planner. Calm, classy, hilarious, quick on her feet, and, most importantly, KIND. She wants you to have the best day of your life, and you feel that from start to finish. Not to mention, she is a lot of fun (even joined us out on the dance floor for a song or two!). I am extremely type A and had a vision; when I tell you Donnah helped execute that vision flawlessly... I mean it. She is the epitome of a wedding planner, and I would refer her ten times over. -

Alyssa went above and beyond, taking care of details I had never considered and making sure on my wedding day I just had to show up! Do yourself a favor and choose Donnah and Poised Events for your wedding. Given Donnah's history & experience coming from the catering world, she is very well connected, liked and respected across other vendors in the industry - including, but not limited to Event Rents, Occasions Catering, Rocky Mountain Catering, etc.
On the day of our wedding at Crooked Willow Farms, we had a rain storm come out of no where - literally, no predictions of its arrival on anyones weather apps, and she smoothly & quickly helped us shift from an outside ceremony to our back up inside option & it couldn't have gone better. We have had guests rave about what an incredible experience it was and how great Donnah handled everything - from getting tables setup, shuttles organized, homemade desserts set out, etc. EVERYTHING. She is incredibly organized, professional, FUN, wonderful to work with, flexible, responsive and reachable and professional and I can't imagine our wedding having gone any better - largely due to her.

We contacted Poised Events after recommendations from our other vendors (photographer, florist, another planner) just a month or so before our wedding…. As our original planner no-showed/ghosted us our walk through! Donnah came to the rescue. They are very organized, thoughtful, and professional. Great Experience with Poised Events!
I worked with Donnah and Alyssa for my wedding planning/coordination. From the beginning things just clicked with Donnah when we met and I felt like she understood my vision and I trusted her with all the details. She worked hard and was extremely flexible and made time to meet with me several times over the course of planning (which spanned a year and a half with Covid delays). She was so helpful when I had to re-plan several things due to Covid and then the day of the event Alyssa stepped in and went above and beyond in her day of coordination duties. She immediately took the reigns and was on board with everything we needed and wanted for our wedding and was incredibly sweet and professional! Thank you to Poised Events for all your hard work in making my wedding perfect! We had a lot of details and everything came together and was done exactly how we wanted it! -

Donnah and her team were absolute rockstars. After finding out we were expecting a baby and deciding to move up our wedding, we planned our entire shindig from start to finish within 6 weeks! Thanks to Donnah's help the wrangling of vendors and ironing out of all details and scheduling was a breeze, and the day-of coordination was phenomenal. Her team was so intentional about making sure my husband and I took little moments for ourselves throughout the day, which wound up being some of my favorite little memories. 11/10 would recommend Donnah! Donnah and team were fantastic. I wasn't sold on the idea that I would want or need a planner, but Donnah exceeded all expectations. The first time we met, via FaceTime, I knew I was going to end up working with her.
