Amazing talent!

I worked with Kristen Folzenlogen for the design of our invitations! Had one meeting with h and she produced exactly what we were looking for! I was blown away with her talent!

THE BEST! Kristen is absolutely fantastic! She is so creative and came up with an absolutely perfect invitation for our wedding! She also created our save the dates, table numbers, signs, and programs. I could not have been happier that we found Poeme! Everyone commented on how beautiful our invitations were. I ended up with absolutely stunning invitations thanks to Kristen at Poeme and couldn't have been happier. She was amazing; we sat down at my initial appointment to start mocking up a design so we could see that we both had the same thing in mind and she was able to take my ideas to another level. She knew the right phrasing (this is surprisingly difficult once you start trying to figure it all out!) and was able to walk me through so many points that the process was not only painless but really fun.

A friend of mine paid me quite the compliment when she took my invite to her marketing manager at a high-end hotel in Chicago and instructed her to use them as the inspiration for their holiday party invites, as they were the prettiest she had ever seen! My budget was respected; it wasn't very big but she made it stretch to maximum impact. A truly great vendor to work with.

Kristen was simply amazing when creating our save the dates, invitations and place cards for our wedding. I was pretty lost at the beginning of the process and tired of looking through stacks of books at other potential invitation companies. Walking into Poeme was a breath of fresh air. Kristen made everything clear and easy by custom creating proofs on her computer right in front of us at our initial meeting. She was able to design something that was truly unique and complimented the style of our wedding so elegantly. Not only is she talented, but she is just plain fun and pleasant to work with! She made every effort to accommodate our wishes and went above and beyond to make sure the invitations were complete for our tight time line. Cost wise, Poeme will also give you the biggest bang for your buck. Don't waste your time looking elsewhere, Poeme is the way to go! :)

Poeme was easily one of my favorite wedding vendors. Kristen at Poeme is super talented, extremely responsive and her store in Hyde Park is oh-so-cute! She created a unique invitation suite that coordinated with our wedding theme perfectly. She was also able to balance my more modern taste with my fiance's classic side. So when my wedding invitations arrived I immediately picked them up and started to address a few. As I started I realized I was short 25 pieces! I immediately called Kristen in a panic! She was so professional and understanding. She called William Arthur the next business day and fixed the issue same week. OUTSTANDING customer service! Thank you for everything Poeme!

I would highly recommend Poeme for any invitation or stationary need. The owner is very helpful and so nice to work with. I will be returning for all my future invitation or stationary needs.

I had an appointment at another stationer in town - when we arrived were were placed at a table with a huge stack of books and some post-it flags to mark the pages. We were overwhelmed, lost and frustrated. I have always had a love of stationary and nothing felt right. And then I made one of the best decisions of the entire wedding planning process... I set up an appointment with Poeme! At the first meeting we talked about my vision for my wedding, my inspiration, budget, things I liked and didn't like. After talking for a while, they brought out some samples of work that they had done and we talked about them. After listening to what I liked and didn't like, they said "Okay. We got it. We'll get back to you in a few days." I hadn't even looked at ONE BOOK!

A few days later I got an e-mail with some preliminary designs and they were AMAZING. They were able to capture EXACTLY what I wanted in my stationary and I hadn't even really been able to tell them what that was. They knew all of the right questions to ask to get to know ME and designed the PERFECT stationary to set the tone for our amazing day.

I made a billion minor changes along the way, asked equally as many questions, was terribly indecisive, and probably couldn't have been much worse to work with and, yet, they couldn't have been more amazing in return!

Our wedding stationary was truly a work of art. I continue to get compliments on it all and I love to show it off! I absolutely LOVED working with Poeme throughout the entire process and I will recommend them to ANYONE that will listen! There is no better place in this city when it comes to stationary! Top notch customer service, brilliant and beautiful design and all around great people - Poeme has it all!

We used Poeme for our wedding invitations and all of our Day-Of paper products. Kristen was extremely easy to work with and truly listened to both my husband and I, in order to get a finished product we both loved. She was always professional and prompt when responding to our many questions and ideas. Her work was beautiful and exactly what we asked for. In the end, we received a wonderful product that represented us well and looked elegant and festive for our December wedding. We love this company!

Kristen helped us create beautiful wedding invitations! During the overwhelming process of coming up with an invitation design, she made the process enjoyable and manageable. She listened to what I wanted and helped to design a gorgeous invitation that was unique and classy. With her graphic design background, she proposed creative design ideas. She also helped us continue the theme of our invitation through our programs, napkins, name cards, etc. She was an absolute pleasure to work with! I highly recommend Poeme and Kristen!

Poeme did so much for our wedding - I could not be more pleased with their work. From our save-the-dates to invitations, day-of signage and guest welcome favors, Poeme was incredible. My invitation process was easy and stress free due to poeme! They helped me from the very beginning, meeting with us and emailing as often as we needed. You cannot beat the beautiful designs and they treat you as if you're the only bride in the world :) highly recommend!!

They created absolutely beautiful custom "save the dates" and invitations. We had artwork that a family member had created of our Arabic monogram and they produced it stunningly. Very cute shop and very easy to communicate via email.

As a graphic designer, I was super picky about how our wedding invitations and other printed materials would look. Kristen was the absolute best and knocked it out of the park! We met with her once, and she designed our dream invitations, seating chart, menus, and place cards. We received so many compliments. Not to mention, she was so flexible and ridiculously nice to work with! I'll be back to Poeme - and would gladly recommend them to anyone!!

Kristen at Poeme is an extremely talented designer who created a most memorable wedding invitation. I had something in mind, but she quickly took my idea and created something so much better. She completely understands the information guests need and incorporates that into a stylish invitation. I would recommend her unconditionally. We wanted something unique and she "nailed" it!

Formal Bridesmaid Invitation, Save The Date, Invitations, Programs, Table Cards and so much more! Kristen at Poeme is an inspiration to work with and a dream to have in your wedding planning corner! If you are looking for UNIQUE, new designs, tradition with an edge - this is your girl! This was my favorite part of the entire wedding planning. Kristen from Poeme is AMAZING! She is so helpful and fun to work with that I kept coming up with ideas for different pieces of stationary just so I could keep going back to meet with her! Kristen is an incredible resource for ideas as well as a helpful guide for wedding etiquette. Poeme made all of our beautiful invitations, napkins, place cards, hand towels, menus, thank you notes and put together great packaging for a sparkler send off at the end of the night. I thoroughly enjoyed the process of designing everything and watching it come to life, in computer form, while I sat there. I have used Poeme on many occasions previously and will continue to do so in the future!

I truly cannot express how wonderful it was to work with Allison and the team at Poeme. They were recommended to us by our wedding planner as we were not from the Cincinnati area, and we are so grateful that we are now telling everyone in Dayton to use them as well. Within the first 15 mintues of meeting with them, they had suggested the idea we ended up using in every piece of stationary used at our wedding... save the date cards, invitations, programs, table number books, favor envelopes, thank you cards, custom stamps, addressing all envelopes... They were so beautiful and so unique that we would have found a way to use any idea they had. Although your wedding is an incredibly special and important part of your life, it can also be very stressful. Allison took every bit of stress away from creating and planning our stationary, and she became my friend through the process. Allison is a true expert in terms of etiquette as well as creativity, so she was incredibly helpful with any etiquette questions and advice in addition to creating such beautiful pieces. Because stopping by the store is not convenient for me or my husband, she was able to assist me through email and she constantly sent me samples so we could know exactly what something would look like. Every change and tweak that I made was done in what seemed like seconds, and she was very responsive, which is important because, when plannning a wedding, many decisions depend upon other decisions. I would not recommend anyone else for any type of stationary, and I look forward to Allison and the team at Poeme being a part of our future Christmas cards, birth announcements and anything else we can think of! Thank you so much to everyone at Poeme... Our wedding planning experience was that much more fun because of you!

Poeme is Phenomenal!!!

I used Poeme for all of my printed materials for my wedding (invitations, programs, table seating cards and thank you notes) and everything was truly spectacular. Allison was wonderful to work with and the entire staff was excellent. I cannot say enough about how wonderful they made each step of the process. They had a HUGE selection and their staff was helpful, friendly and responsive to all of my needs. I was initially overwhelmed with the invitation selection process because there were so many options and I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted. Allison was great in calming my feelings and quickly helped me to narrow things down and figure out what I was looking for. Once I selected my invitations, I was able to go back-and-forth several times in terms of perfecting the layout, content, and design. They provided great proofs via email in a timely fashion. The finished products were all stunning!!!

I am so thankful I found Poeme and I plan on using Poeme all future life events and recommend them to anyone who needs printed materials for ANY special occasion!

Allison was awesome to work with! She made what seemed like an overwhelming task fun and simple. She had wonderful ideas, and expressed them in a professional yet gentle way. I never felt pressured to do or order something I didn't want. Allison made an effort to get to know me and my fiancee, our taste/preferences, and a feel for the wedding so that our invitations could reflect those preferences. I absolutely loved the final product and Allison was so flexible and helpful with making any necessary changes. She'd email drafts back and forth and this was a huge help for my mom who lives out of town. I absolutely loved working with Allison and Poeme and would (already have!) recommend them to everyone!!

Poeme was one of the best decisions I made regarding my wedding. Not only did they do a great job, but I truly enjoyed going in and working with them. Everyone made the process very easy and their knowledge and love for what they do was very evident. Poeme was such a pleasure to work with!!! Allison helped me with my wedding invitations and day of stationary (programs, place cards) and I could not have been more pleased with her and her work. I live out of town so the majority of our correspondence was done via email and the level of professionalism, responsiveness and willingness to do whatever I wanted blew me away! Kristen and Poeme saved the day. I had a vision of a beautiful letterpress invitation, and the company I initially chose didn't come through (they looked like garbage, etiquette errors, etc.) So at the last minute, Kristen gave us many GORGEOUS original designs to choose from fitting our theme. They were more amazing than I had pictured, and to create such a beautiful masterpeice - in letterpress - in a time crunch, well was just incredible. Thank you!!!!! For not only rescuing us, but for blowing away our expectations!!!

I used Poeme for my wedding invitations, programs and seating chart and they were (without a doubt) worth every penny! Kristen was AMAZING to work with. She is so easy to talk to and get in touch with. I would feel bad for bombarding her with tons of etiquette/format questions but she ALWAYS replied eagerly with so much helpful information. She is truly knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. The wedding invitations got so many compliments, they definitely set the tone for the wedding. Meeting with her one-on-one was so convenient and helpful. I highly, highly recommend Poeme!

Poeme was unbelievable. We took a do it yourself idea to Kristen and she was able to put it all together. We are still getting compliments on the invitations. The invites set the entire tone and feel of the wedding. She was able to stay within budget which NO-ONE else in Cincinnati was able to do. Very accommodating and easy to work with. Do not be fooled by other stationary store's free addressing etc. Poeme will do it all or like us put certain pieces together. Amazing work and knowledge.

Poeme made my wedding invitations, programs and thank you cards. I have to say our invitations were one of my favorite parts of our entire wedding. Poeme did an amazing job and their customer service was outstanding! They were willing to meet with me as much as I want, they gave me advice and offered a variety of products to complete my wedding day stationery. I honestly didn't know what I wanted in regards to my invitations. I knew that I wanted a traditional yet elegant invitation but I didn't know where to start. Kristen spent one-on-one time with us and walked us through invitation books to get a feel for what we liked and didn't like. From there, she helped us design a beautiful invitation that turned out to be one of my very favorite parts of the wedding. I am in love with my invitations, and they received so many compliments from our guests! They were beautiful and elegant and they set the exact tone for our wedding! You name it with the stationary and Poeme took care of it. Kristen and Phil were wonderful to work with. They took care of every detail from the save the dates to the invitations to the place cards as well as the programs. We loved how our invitations was made just for us and how personalized all of the services we used were. It was worth the extra expense. We received so many compliments and miss working with the staff at Poeme. They are so creative and nice.

Poeme was wonderful to work with while planning our wedding. The staff was professional and courteous and willing to go above and beyond expectations. I received multiple responses from guests that the invitations were the most beautiful they had even seen. The programs and place cards were also completed with perfection. I would highly recommend any bride to Poeme.

Poeme did a fantastic job of making our invitations "not the norm." They were BEYOND clever and played off of our Christmas wedding / time as a couple. Every piece flowed together perfectly and we couldn't have been happier with the end result.
The staff was very responsive and was able to bring an amazing product to life after listening to our ideas.
I could not have been happier...use them and they won't disappoint!

Poeme was like a Godsend! We loved everything about them. Kristen was able to take a simple concept & some fabric swatches and turn them into stationary that we could have never imagined. The first thing our guests saw from our wedding was the save the date, and that truly set the mood for the entire event. We ended up using Kristen for every bit of stationary for our wedding and rehearsal dinner (save the date, invite, menu card, thank you's, stickers, you name it...). She even made up gift boxes for our out-of-town guests. We loved working with Kristen and we highly recommend Poeme!

I don't know what we would have done without Kristen and the entire Poeme team! Our invitations (...and save-the-dates, shower invites, menus, programs, and thank-yous) were amazing. We received more compliments on our invitations than anything else. Kristen was extremely patient with us as we selected our details and even created a custom font when what we wanted wasn't available! In addition to giving us gorgeous creations, we never had to worry about any issues with errors or shipping- she even proofed everything for us. We can't thank the Poeme team enough for helping us make a beautiful impression at every stage of our celebration!

Kristen and the staff at Poeme are amazing! We started with Save the Date cards - - Kristen listened to what I liked and didn't like and was able to help me find the perfect Save the Dates that were beautiful and within our budget. Poeme then helped us design our wedding invitations, listening to our ideas and helping us create our own unique design. We also ended up asking Poeme to help us with our wedding stationary since our experience had been so wonderful - table cards, place cards, ceremony program, reception program and even thank you notes - - all individually designed for us. The staff at Poeme is very detail oriented, delivers on time, and makes the process fun. They also offer great value in both quality and personalized design - you are not charged by the hour or for multiple revisions as other vendors do for design services. Both my husband and I loved working with Poeme and we will continue to use them for all of our stationary needs even beyond our wedding!

Kristen is an artist. Invitations was the area that I was uninterested in, then I met Kristen and she ended up being my favorite vendor! She walked us through every step and allowed us to get exactly what we wanted in our budget. Everyone raved about our invites. I will be a customer of her's for life!

The quality of service Poeme provided was phenomenal! We were so pleased with our Save the Dates as well as our formal invitations; they can do it all! They were able to accomidate every need. Poeme is incredible!

We worked with Kristen from Poeme for our Change the Date cards, Wedding invitation, welcome signage, seating chart, and table place cards, and were absolutely obsessed with the way everything turned out! We had multiple people reach out to let us know how nice our invitations were. Everything Kristen does is so high-quality and designed beautifully. I have very simple taste, and Kristen captured my vision perfectly! She was also so pleasant and fun to work with throughout the process. I HIGHLY recommend working with Poeme!

The invitations that Kristen put together for me were incredible. She nailed my taste from the beginning and made the experience of creating the design a lot of fun during our first meeting. Kristen also pulled through for my fiance and I to make our menus and "guest libs" on rather short notice, which turned out fantastic! She is amazing, and the shop itself is adorable.

I worked with Kristen at Poeme and she was great. I was under time constraints and she was able to quickly take my vision and develop custom invitations quickly and professionally. The invitations are not cheap, which is why I rate the value a 4 just to signal that it is a pricey investment, but they were beautiful and worth the money to us and we received a lot of compliments on the design.

I was overwhelmed by invitation options. There are so many choices, and I couldn't find anything that I even liked, much less loved. And then, I met with Kristen at Poeme. She spent over an hour with me, and at the end I had the perfect invitation. She even knew all the appropriate wording, so I didn't have to do any research on that.

I wanted something "green" but classic. Kristen recommended a place in NY called Smock which prints on bamboo paper (more like card stock) and everything is hand pressed. I never would have found that company on my own, but it was the perfect fit.

Poeme worked with me to design custom stationery for my wedding -- invitations, thank you notes, placecards, table numbers, menus and programs. We had a design challenge to reflect two cultures, and I did not have a clear idea of what I wanted, except that I wanted something relatively simple and modern. Kristen guided me through the design process effortlessly, using a variety of catalogs, samples and materials to aid the creative process. Kristen's final design was fantastic, incorporating English and Farsi elements into an elegant invitation that quickly became one of my favorite parts of the wedding! The Poeme team is very responsive. We were slow to design our ceremony, which pushed production of the programs into the final hours, but Kristen and her team pulled everything together just on time. Custom stationery is not the most economic option and to her credit, Kristen did not push me to spend more -- she suggested many changes I could have made to keep within my stationery budget. The choices were all mine, and I happily went over budget to bring her fantastic design to life. I highly recommend Kristen and Poeme to anyone who wants something special for their wedding stationery.

Kristen did such a wonderful job with our invitations. She really made the whole process very easy for us-- from the selection of the perfect invitation, to helping us with the correct wording and layout of the invitation, she was a huge help. When the invitations were not delivered on time, Kristen and the other staff at Poeme were very professional-- and even came to the rescue by mailing our invitations for us! I would recommend Poeme to anyone looking for stationery for any event!

We worked with Allison to design our Save the Dates, Wedding Invitations/ReceptionCards/RSVPCards, and ceremony programs. She is truly an artist and worked with us to customize the perfect design that encapsulated everything we wanted in our stationary. She was absolutely fabulous, very professional, and extremely organized (even with getting married only a few months before we did!) We received so many compliments on the paper, the designs, the wording, the colors, everything! Quality of Service–Spent a lot of time designing & did a good job of pulling details of your wedding to tie everything together

Responsiveness–Worked via email, reducing the # of meetings. Allison helped w/our STDs-quick to respond & finish our project. Kristen was usually responsive, but had a few delays during her busy season w/June brides & missed some deadlines she set

Professionalism–Allison- professional, thorough, detailed. Small print issue on the STDs, she was quick to get the issue rectified going above & beyond to help w/the issues the delay caused & notified me of the upcoming stamp price increase which could have affected our custom stamps. Kristen was professional in our in person meeting. After getting our initial quote back, she was great in showing alternatives that would meet our budget. She caught the inaccurate color of the 1st print job & made sure the company fixed it. I deducted 2 stars because I was clear from the start that I needed these completed by a certain date. Although this was earlier than the average bride, I felt other brides w/earlier wedding dates took precedent. Poeme is a very reputable stationer in the area, it is no surprise the store is busy; however, if they were unable to meet my needs, I would’ve like to have had those expectations set in order to reduce the stress that was later caused

Value–You pay a little more as Poeme has some of the best design & quality in the area. I deducted 2 stars, because the extra margin that I’m paying should include above average customer service. Mistakes happen, especially when you are working w/3rd parties. As the middle person you need to make up for it. For my STDs, this was done 110% which impressed me & is why I chose them for my invitations. Unfortunately, this level of service was only applied in certain areas

Flexibility-Any changes that I needed were usually able to be made. Kristin even reached out to the company producing to see if certain changes could be done
