Suzy with Pluff Mud came highly recommended to me through another knowledgeable vendor when I was starting our wedding planning process. She immediately provided insight and direction, and she instantly felt like one of those people you had known forever! She gave great recommendations, but she was also a very good listener. She expertly navigated our wants to a best day ever outcome. She grew up in the area, so she has so many connections and knowledge that proved invaluable. She had several levels of choice to purchase geared toward the amount of time or assistance needed. We landed in the middle, and it was perfect for us because we had family in the area. If we were out of town completely, then I would trust her with full planning. -

Suzy is the absolute best! Her month of coordination service was just what I was looking for. She was so reassuring and took so much stress away from me and my mom on the actual wedding day. Her suggestions were great, the day went off without a hitch! You can tell that Suzy knows this business, and has great relationships with vendors in the area. We are so thankful for all of her help and hard work to make our wedding such a dream! I can't recommend Pluff Mud Event Planning enough! -

We couldn't have hired a better planner for our special day!
We couldn't have hired a better planner for our special day! Suzy went above and beyond every step of the way to make sure we had everything set and planned for our wedding. She met up with us at the venue and we met with the venue manager to go over all the details. She asked all the important questions and brought up things that I never would have thought of. My husband and I put together a guide of all the decorations and how we want everything to look on the wedding day and Suzy nailed it! She set everything up exactly how we had imagined. I was shocked that she never once reached out to me on the wedding day. She figured everything out on her own and it couldn't have been more perfect!! The day before the wedding, we realized we needed a rain backup plan and we couldn't have done it without Suzy. She was so calm and accommodating, she was in contact with all of our vendors making sure everything would run smooth even with the rain and moving everything to inside. We couldn't have asked for a better month of coordinator. Suzy was amazing!! -

I originally grew up in Charleston but moved away several years ago, so I had a lot of ideas of what I wanted but Tina made them all possible. She had amazing vendor recommendations and design ideas to make the day just perfect. Tina was super responsive, friendly and overall great to work with. -

Tina was amazing! We originally started planning my wedding in 2019 and when the pandemic hit, Tina helped me with rescheduling all the dates and everything. She was wonderful to work with and was an expert in helping us pull off our American-Chinese wedding. Couldn't say enough great things about Tina and Pluff Mud! -

Tina was AMAZING. She was there every step of the way and thought of so much that I hadn’t thought of to really make the day flow smoothly. She took everything in stride, even when surprises popped up or when things didn’t go to plan. I can’t recommend their service enough. Even though I planned a lot on the front end, I absolutely could not have done this without them! -

From start to finish our planner was there for us. Honestly we didn’t know the first thing about planning a wedding and with Pluff Muds expertise and vendor connections the planning went so smoothly-even with our last minute changes:) someone said I looked “too stress free to be the bride” and I say that’s because I had full confidence in our planner. They say something is bound wrong on the actual wedding day but me and my husband both thought the day was seamless and perfect! So many thanks fir making our day amazing!! -

We hired Pluff Mud Event Planning and got "The Simple Pluffer" package.
Suzy really saved us from having a ton of stress when Jake and I were planning our wedding. She went above and beyond her role as the Day of Coordinator and I am so grateful that we decided to hire Pluff Mud Event Planning. Suzy definitely knows her stuff and gives great advice. She helped me decide on a few vendors to use and because we used Pluff Mud, we were able to get discounted prices for some services from their preferred vendors!
During the rehearsal, I was stressed out about something that was out of my control and Suzy helped calm me down and reassured me that she would be there every step of the way during the wedding and would take care of everything.
She executed my decoration ideas so well that it seemed like she got into my head to really see and understand my vision. Her timeline was great, but she was flexible enough to move things around during the reception, so more of our guests could be involved before they left. She took down our decorations very quickly and really lifted a heavy weight off of our shoulders.
If we could do it all over again, we would definitely contact Pluff Mud Event Planning even sooner than before and we would definitely spend the little extra to spring for full planning so they would save us from any stress at all!
If you were on the fence about hiring a planner, or couldn't decide who to hire... do yourself a favor and Hire Pluff Mud Event Planning!!! -

When I first starting looking for a wedding planner I felt defeated because they were all out of my price range, until I came across Tina! She was so affordable! When I met with her, I had done some planning but I told her what I needed help with and she got me quotes for vendors, helped me with my vision with my wedding colors, and picked up my flowers and linens to help me save money on delivery fees! I would 1000% recommend Tina to anyone in the Charleston area! She was so helpful all the way up until hours before my wedding. The day of she had to find us a new officiant and she did it so fast and quick. He was awesome too! SO thankful I chose Tina to help me with my big day! It was worth it! -

Tina at Pluff Mud Event Planning was the best decision I made pertaining to my daughter's wedding in Charleston, SC. She has great connections, ideas, and solutions. She is always kind, professional, and organized, and she has a great partner, Suzie. Due to Covid 19, we had several setbacks, but I put my trust in Tina, and she came through spectacularly. She put together a most beautiful ceremony and reception. I highly recommend Pluff Mud Event Planning. -

Tina and Suzy put all my worries to rest. Of course, I’ve never planned a wedding before, so I had no idea where to start! They were so knowledgeable and helpful with a list of preferred vendors who they have worked with before. They were always responsive and willing to answer any questions that I had. We met up at the venue to walk through creating a floor plan and timeline. At the rehearsal, they made sure everyone knew what they were doing and where to go. On the big day, they worked behind the scenes to make sure everything was flowing as planned. We’re so very thankful to have worked with Tina and Suzy to make our wedding day so memorable. My maid of honor is getting married this year and has already hired Pluff Mud Event Planning for her wedding as well! -

The best wedding planners around!
I seriously don’t know what I would have done without Tina & Suzy! I found them after I had a bad experience with a previous wedding planner and they swooped in and saved the planning/day. I used them both to help me fully plan the wedding and coordinate the day of. They made it so much easier for me and were on top of everything at all times. Anytime when I felt like I was getting too stressed, they reassured me that they had everything under control and they absolutely did! I recommend them for whatever your need is. They are very sweet women and professional on all levels. Make sure to hire them for your next event, you won’t regret it!! -

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our services with Pluff Mud. Throughout our wedding planning we felt things were more stressful than it should have been. Trying to give the benefit of the doubt on our wedding day, hoping it was all a fluke , we were still left disappointed in how nothing was taken care of how we asked. We were not on time during the whole day. And to top it all off the coordinator didn't even know the time of our ceremony. Given the price we were charged, we had hoped that things would have been smoother than what they were. Not even sure what we paid for other than a "special" vendor list. All that being said, I hope others have a better experience. I wish I could look back at my wedding day and this not be the first thing that comes to my mind.
