Amazing Wedding Experience!
We are so happy that we decided to book Platinum for our wedding this past August. They were super easy to work with and accomodated all of our requests. We have gotten so many compliments from our guests and had an amazing evening in Madison. -

Wedding bash in the park!
Exceptional band! They brought down the house and we had so many rave reviews from our guests! Matt was very responsive and flexible both during planning and during the event - he incorporated all of our requests, including juggling some special family celebrations/traditions. The musicians were super skilled musically, great at reading and engaging the crown, and their experience as a team working together was so evident. I would absolutely hire them again for a future event. We are so grateful that they were recommended to us! -

Wedding 6/22
We hired Platinum for our wedding on June 22nd and they were amazing! Everyone was saying how great the band sounded and that having a live band made such a difference! Everyone was on the dance floor all night and having Platinum made it such a memorable experience for our loved ones. People are constantly telling us how amazing the group was! Our wedding had a lot of attendees that were/are musicians, and everyone was blown away at how great the group sounded and how well they played together. We communicated with Matt Anton prior to the wedding and he was very communicative and flexible. Their song selection was also awesome. Hiring Platinum was by far one of the best decisions we made and we couldn’t be happier with how they performed! -

Platinum is for Legends Only
Are you looking for your wedding to be legendary? If you answered yes to that question then stop what you’re doing, stop reading reviews on the band, stop trying to figure out yes or no and click the book button.
Platinum MADE our reception. Set the vibe, and absolutely brought the house down. Matt Anton made our process unbelievably easy. Was so accommodating, listened to our requests (and non requests) and handled everything. The energy they bring is unmatched. It was seamless. Cannot thank Matt and platinum enough for their care of my wife and I. They should cost more to book in my opinion. That’s how good they are.
Oh yeah and you have to have them play Empire State of mind. Platinum has a special place in our hearts forever. -

We love Platinum!
We LOVED having Platinum at our wedding! They had everyone on the dance floor the entire night. We are still getting compliments from guests about how much of a blast they had! We also hired their jazz trio to play during our dinner and it created the most incredible ambiance. -

I am still in amazement at their talent!
Book them! Hands down the best wedding band I have ever heard! The dance floor was packed from the first song to the last! The talent that their band has is unmatched! We also included a pianist for our cocktail hour and their jazz band for dinner. I would highly recommend these add ons!

Platinum packs the dance floor all night long!!!
WOW!!! We booked Platinum for our August wedding and they completely knocked it out of the park. We opted for a piano soloist for cocktail hour and a jazz trio for dinner, which added so much flare to the evening. The party really started when Platinum started to play after dinner. The dance floor was PACKED from start to finish. They even played a couple of extra songs at the end of the night since everybody was having such a great time. We heard from our guests again and again that Platinum played the best music they had ever heard at a wedding. Matt was so easy to work with leading up to the event and met all our requests without hesitation. Look no further than Platinum – this was by far the best decision we made for our wedding. Thank you for the AMAZING music!!! -

Incredible Band-We Recommend HIGHLY!
WOW! What a great experience with Platinum. Matt is professional and easy to work with. The music delivered during the cocktail hour and the reception was perfect. Perfect energy, perfect volumes, perfect instrumentals, perfect singing, perfect Hora, perfect song choices/flow. Having Platinum was the perfect choice for our daughter’s and now son-in-laws’ wedding! I used reviews like this followed by a few phone calls prior to booking and I’m so glad I did. SO many guests commented on our GREAT BAND and a great band clearly helps lead to a great night! Thank you Matt and all the musicians for helping to make Rachel & Charlie’s wedding perfect! -

Awesome Wedding Band
This review is a little late, our wedding was in June of 2021, but I wanted to say that if you are still searching for a band for your wedding or event, your search is over. Platinum is AMAZING!! They are fantastic musicians and kept everyone on the dance floor from the first song all the way to the last song. My 86 year old grandmother was still on the dance floor at midnight! I would recommend them to all of my friends and family! Our wedding reception was talked about for months after because of how much fun everyone had on the dance floor. I highly recommend!!! -

Amazing band! Dance floor packed all night!
We couldn't be happier with our experience with Platinum Band at our wedding. The manager Matt was super helpful and responsive during the planning process. We hired them to install lighting in the venue, sound and piano for the ceremony, a trio for dinner, and a full band for the reception- they did an excellent job on everything and were so affordably priced. The band was incredible at the reception, really talented and fun group, great energy. We received so many compliments from our guests, people were dancing all night, and it made for such a fun and memorable event. We are so glad we found Platinum- they made it such a special day and one hell of a party. -

Book platinum now!
Platinum played at our wedding in door county and oh my god did they deliver. Matt the band manager was so accommodating and great to work with - such a nice guy. The entire band is EXTREMELY talented and the energy they bring to the room and the range in all their voices is incredible. We added on the piano for our cocktail hour too and it was beautiful. All our guests commented on how amazing they were - we truly felt like the band was there having fun with us and it wasn’t their job - they wanted to be there celebrating with us! Would recommend over and over! -

The band is phenomenal!
The band is phenomenal! Cookie, the lead singer knocked Whitney Houston's song, "I wanna dance with somebody" out of the park! The band manager, Matt so easy to work with and very responsive. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed them. We all hated to see the evening end! We HIGHLY recommend this band -

Packed Dance Floor All Night!
We hired the band Platinum for our wedding. They were so much fun and the dance floor was packed all night! They met with my venue to make sure the set up would work for them and they also provided us with a whole sheet to work out the logistics for the reception . A week before the wedding we had a call with Matt who was very professional and helped us with any questions we had. The band was so amazing! They play all different genres and they sounded so real to the song they played. I keep getting compliments to this day about the band! Definitely check out Platinum! Worth every penny!! -

Mother of the Groom
As the Mother of the Groom you are suppose to be quiet and blend into the woodwork. If Platinum plays at your son's wedding that is an impossibility. Get up and dance. Get up and sing. Get up and have a great time. The vast majority of the wedding guests were between 30 and 35 years old. NO one sat down even my friends. They stayed until the end and truly loved Platinum. Wish I had $5 for everyone who said it was the best wedding band EVER. I'm already planning the first anniversary reunion so we can get back on the dance floor. COULD NOT RECOMMEND MORE HIGHLY! -

Extraordinary
Platinum absolutely rocks! We cannot thank them enough for the music for our wedding reception. All the members are unbelievably talented and working with them was a breeze. The process for selecting/requesting songs, timelines, and event details is very smooth through their online portal after you sign the contract. They have hundreds of songs you can choose from and they may even let you pick one for them to learn (we will never forget American Pie by Don McLean). The band manager (Matt Anton) was very cordial and respectful for all our needs and questions we asked. We cannot thank him enough as well for supplying speakers and microphones for the emcee. Matt was also willing to help out with all of the songs for the first dances. We hope they enjoyed their time with us as much as we did with them. It is something we will never forget. Great value and great experience. 5 stars, no questions asked. We will definitely recommend Platinum to anyone looking for a band for their wedding! We hope to see them soon! -

Fantastic Band and Great to Work With!
Platinum played our wedding last weekend and we cannot recommend them highly enough. From the start, they were incredibly easy to work with and very accommodating. Night of, everything went exactly as planned including playing the perfect rendition of our first dance song. Throughout the night and since, all of our guests have said how fantastic the band was and how fun that made the event. We will absolutely use Platinum again if the need arises! -

Can't go wrong with Platinum!!
My daughter and new son-in-law booked Platinum for their wedding at the Madison Club. If all their decisions turn out as good as this one, it'll be a great marriage! A talented and versatile live band like Platinum is far and away a better entertainment choice than a DJ. They appealed to guests of every age, and we received countless compliments on them. Rather than a DJ starting off the night playing music that only the younger guests can appreciate and which quickly sends anyone over the age of 50 streaming for the exits (which seems to happen at a lot of weddings these days), Platinum’s style and repertoire made our guests of all ages want to stick around and enjoy the entire party. The dance floor was packed solid through the very last song. Platinum offered a great mix of expertly performed music (including a killer horn section and amazing vocals) ranging from old standards, Motown, and classic rock, through a good selection of current tunes that the younger guests know and enjoy but which don't turn off the older guests. So if your goal is to have a great reception with an awesome band that will keep the party going all night for the enjoyment of your guests of all ages, Platinum is the way to go. Best wedding band this father of the bride has ever experienced. -

They were everything we wanted in a band!
I would recommend Platinum to anyone looking for a fun and interactive band with a wide range of styles and genres. Whether it was Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, Frank Sinatra, Outkast, Chris Stapleton, or Prince, they absolutely nailed everything. They even let my uncle hop in a song with them to play sax!
They were very flexible with our requests before the reception and even learned our first dance to play for us. We had so many people comment in the days following the wedding how awesome our band was. Our main priority for our reception was to have as many people on the dance floor throughout the night as possible, and we definitely accomplished that, thanks to Platinum! -

Platinum BLEW THE ROOF off of our wedding reception venue! They are so much better live than the amazing videos on their website. My bridesmaid's 64 year old father came up to me after their 3rd song and said "This is the Best. Band. Ever. EVER!" Everyone loved them. They played our first dance song beautifully. They played all of our requested songs (huge variety), and even surprised us with some "Gold Digger" by Kanye/Jamie Foxx and "Yeah!" by Usher - songs that I thought I lost by choosing a band over a DJ. Our guests filled the dance floor and melted when they played "Purple Rain" (even the single people dancing by themselves). Four weeks later, we are still having friends and family members comment on how great Platinum was at our wedding. We specifically sought them out because they had multiple singers and a horn section - and boy did they deliver. Did I mention that everyone loved them? Book them now, or at least crash a wedding where they're performing ;) Thanks again Platinum!!! -

Truly an awesome band. I think our wedding guests were shocked at the quality of this band. The dance floor was never not packed and the DJ they work with was great too. Literally no issues at all. The band had a fair price, were super easy to work/coordinate with and they even had a cool style on stage. Would book this band every time. YOU. WILL. NOT. REGRET. IT. -

Hiring The band was the absolutely best thing we did! The excellent live music made everyone have such a great time. Our guests filled the dance floor from the first song until the last. The band was so great to work with and helped with mics for speeches and were just so nice. Everyone commented how much fun they had dancing to live music. Nothing compares. We could not have been more pleased with our experience with Platinum. Our wedding was over a month ago and we STILL are getting comments from our guests on how great the music was. Our dance floor was packed from the very first song to the last. From the planning process to the actual wedding they were extremely accommodating and professional, including learning our first dance song and doing an absolute phenomenal job with it. They even played some songs on the fly towards the end of the night (including letting me get behind the drums for a song) that we'll always keep as an amazing memory. The only hiccup we ran into was some misinformation provided to us by the management company, but once we got to dealing directly with the band leader, everything went extremely smoothly. We couldn't have had a better experience and would recommend Platinum to anyone! -

I have only positive things to say about our experience with Platinum. Matt was extremely helpful in the weeks leading up to the wedding. He was responsive and incredibly accommodating with our song requests. And the night of the wedding Platinum was a HUGE hit. We had a jazz trio for our cocktail hour and dinner, which was wonderful. And then the full band set up for dancing after dinner. We had three straight hours of dancing—the floor was packed for the entire time! Our guests are still talking about how great the music was at our wedding. And the energy Platinum brought was amazing. They helped make our wedding the most memorable weekend! 10/10 recommend to anyone. -

Best band ever! Hired these guys for my wedding two weeks ago. I did not leave the dance floor and neither did the guests. Not only they but they were so flexible. I'm a musician myself and they let me play and sing a song with them. Such a cool moment. I'd recommend them to anyone/everyone. -

As father of the bride paying for the wedding at Whistling Straights on 7/29/17, this band was worth every penny. Professional, great quality and quantity, music to make everyone get on the dance floor and stay there, and very easy to work with for cocktail music, dinner music, and the reception/dance music. I would highly recommend this band and certainly will use it again for my next daughter's wedding. Everyone complimented me on my choice of bands--they should have been complimenting Platinum. Matt Anton manages the band and I was very comfortable with him throughout the entire process. Well Done. -

Platinum was one of the single BEST decisions we made in planning our wedding. We knew we wanted live music, and we didn't want to be boxed in by one genre, and our choice couldn't have been better. Everything from booking the performers, to following up on specific requests, and walking through the plan for the evening ahead of schedule was very smooth and professionally handled. More importantly, the actual performances from the band were out of this world! As I write this review, I have goosebumps thinking about how amazing the singers were, how energetic the guests were because of the performers' hard work, and how much fun everybody had. You absolutely will NOT regret hiring Platinum for your wedding! -

Platinum played at our New Years Eve wedding and were absolutely fantastic. Flexible, professional and a delight to work with. Our guests raved about the tunes. They had the dance floor hopping all night. We highly recommend them for your Midwest wedding! -

I highly recommend booking Platinum for your wedding/event! They were the hit of our wedding and made our night a blast. Since booking them over a year ago they have been great to work with. Anytime I email or call Matt he has gotten back to me quickly to answer any questions. They are very professional, reliable and wonderful musicians. Many of my guests have called me to tell me how much they loved the band. They had all the wedding guests up and dancing all night long! Platinum was FABULOUS and we cannot thank them enough for making our wedding night so much fun!! -

We had Platinum play at our wedding on 5/21/16 in Madison, WI and they did an amazing job. They are extremely talented and all of our guests absolutely loved them! Platinum is able to play a very wide range of music, which we and our guests truly appreciated (everything from the 60's-70's through today's music). Matt, the band manager was in contact with us prior to the date to discuss what we wanted and they followed through on everything. We were so happy with Platinum and everyone had an amazing time - the band really keeps the energy going! I would highly recommend Platinum to anyone - they do a wonderful job. -

Platinum was perfect! They set up quickly and quietly. They provided DJ like services (played 4 different songs for prelude, processional, bridal processional and recessional) during our ceremony and with very limited direction from me, Matt faded out the songs at exactly the right times. The band then played starting with our first song (That's How Strong My Love Is - which was wonderful) until midnight and we received many compliments from guests throughout the night that they loved the band. The variety of music that was played allowed our dance floor to be filled with guests of all ages (high school age kids, our friends, our parents' friends and even my husband's grandma) throughout the night. We could not be happier with Platinum : ) -

Matt and the Platinum Band were absolutely FANTASTIC! We received SO many compliments from our guests and their music was some of the best I've ever heard. They played a nice mix of music (at our request) and really adjusted to what the audience was in the mood for. They were able to adjust the timing of our first dance based on choreography and were flexible when we asked them to be. The jazz that they played during dinner was beautiful. All in all, I'd recommend them to everyone! -

We along with all of our guests had an amazing night of dancing and fun. If you are looking for a band that plays great music, sounds terrific and knows how to get your guests on the dance floor, we would highly recommend Platinum. We received countless comments about how great they were throughout the night. People were still talking about the fun they had dancing days later. They are very professional and kind. Platinum was outstanding. The dance floor was packed all night long and everyone had a blast. They learned our first dance song for us and we could not have been happier with their performance. We had a great experience with Platinum. Matt was easy to work with and I loved that they learned the song that we wanted for our first dance. When we booked them, we had never seen them live. We hoped that they were similar to their videos online and the good news is - they were even better! The dance floor was packed until the very end - I'm so happy we booked them! -

Platinum Band was absolutely outstanding... OUTSTANDING! I can't say enough good things about their talent, professionalism and service. Their range in music is remarkable. They can play everything from Frank Sinatra to Madonna to Bruno Mars to freaking Young MC (yeah they rap). The dance floor was literally packed the entire reception and this is because Platinum catered to all guests. My grandma knew songs, my uncle and aunts knew songs and my niece and nephew all knew songs... you're not getting a one trick pony with Platinum, they cover it all.
I am a type-A personality and Matt was an excellent communicator offering solutions and direction on doing an outdoor reception at a venue that had never done one before. The icing on the cake is that not only Matt but the entire band are awesome people who were kind, fun and so very talented.
Weddings are expensive. You have to decided where to allocate costs, I'm telling you that putting your money into the entertainment will not be a mistake. I wanted my guests to have fun and I whole heartily believe that Platinum Band was the key factor in our reception being a success. -

Platinum did an awesome job at my daughter's wedding. Their sound just sparkled and they played great tunes for dancing. I've not been to many weddings where the whole crowd seemed to be on the dance floor most of the evening. They're worth every penny. -

Working with Matt and Platinum the band was a pleasure. They were very professional and accommodating throughout the whole process.
We booked them for our destination-style wedding in northern Wisconsin, and they made our special day unforgettable.
They provided music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, during dinner and then they rocked the night away the rest of the time. We received a ton of compliments about the band, people said they felt like they were at the concert of the original artists they were covering.
Plus, Platinum knew a wide range of music, from Sinatra to Jay-Z, to please all age groups. The dance floor was never empty. Even when they went on break, Matt dj'd and kept the party going.
Also, we recommend having them provide the stage lighting, they provided a blue concert lighting that matched our color scheme, and made our tent look amazing.
We cannot say enough good things about our experience working with this band.
We want to throw another party this week just to have them back!

Platinum did a fantastic job at our wedding. We had many raving guests and would definitely hire them again. Matt was very attentive and responsive and I felt confident everything would be set as discussed.
To explain my only doc's:
professionalism: a separate photographer was hired by the band. we were not forewarned, she stayed for a long time, and it was quite distracting to the wedding party and guests. our photographer could have snapped some of the band for free had it been discussed in advance. additionally, am I now in some promotional materials that I'm not aware of? It wouldn't have been an issue had it been discussed upfront.
value: we knew the band was expensive, but the breaks were considerably longer than I expected. Again, upfront communication could have avoided. -
