Tony stood out to us from the first meeting we had with him! His process and the way he handled his business was clearly set apart from others that we met with. We're so glad we went with him because that continued throughout the whole planning process. He was very involved, and we covered absolutely everything, so we were never left wondering leading up to the big day. On the day of, everything was coordinated perfectly between him and our other vendors, so we didn't have to deal with any stress. We would definitely recommend! -

The first time I met Tony I knew he was going to be our DJ. He was so easy to talk to, and aside from that out of all the DJs we met with he was the only one that asked us what we wanted and what kind of music we had in mind. Hiring Tony was by far THE BEST decision we have ever made. Our dance floor was packed all night, and even the event staff were dancing throughout the night because he was that good. Everyone I talk to raves about how much fun they had and how awesome he was. Not only will he make sure the music is great and your dance floor is on fire, but he actually cares about what you and your significant other want. The week before our wedding so many vendors were reaching out to us about all the things that needed to be finalized; but when we met with Tony that Tuesday before our wedding he was such a breath of fresh air. After that meeting my finance and I were like okay we are ready, and we know we are going to have fun. Not only is Tony himself an amazing DJ and person but so are the other members of his team. One of his associates was the DJ for our afterparty and he was equally as amazing. We can honestly say that we had SO MUCH FUN at our wedding and a large part of that was due to Tony and his team. We would hire Tony and his team again in a heartbeat and we recommend that you hire him too! -

Your DJ/MC is one of the most if not the most important vendor that you will book for your wedding. I didn’t believe it until I saw it, but it’s true.
Tony was recommended to us by our wedding photographer, Hannah of Hannah Lux Photography. We set up a video call ASAP and after the first few moments, knew he was the right person for our wedding. It was evident very quickly that Tony is beyond passionate about what he does.
Throughout the planning process, Tony guided us through everything we needed, made recommendations, and not only tolerated but encouraged my many Taylor Swift requests (or demands).
Our wedding was less than 60 people including my husband and I. With such an intimate wedding, we were nervous for a while leading up to the event that people wouldn’t dance, or might even treat it more like a dinner party than a wedding. We were so wrong! The dance floor went ALL NIGHT because of Tony. Friends and family members that I have never seen dance, on the dance floor for our ENTIRE reception having the time of their lives. Our guests RAVED about our DJ all night and I can’t think of a day that’s passed yet that someone hasn’t mentioned how great he was.
Tony is more than a DJ or an MC, Tony is a professional, an expert in his craft, a talented and creative individual, and a genuine, true person and friend. We can’t thank him enough for what he did for us. -

Your DJ/MC is one of the most important choices you can make for your wedding. They are one of the main factors in setting the tone for the entire night. Having Tony as our DJ/MC was one of the BEST choices we could have made! From the moment my now husband and I got off our initial call with Tony, we knew we needed to work with him. Throughout the whole process, Tony was so communicative and attentive to all the details we aspired to have. He supported us the entire way and made us feel so prepared for our wedding day; it was such a relief going to our wedding day knowing he had everything under control and planned accordingly. He executed the night perfectly!!! The floor was packed the entire night, from beginning to end, starting with Salsa, classic hits and everything in between. Everyone is still commenting to us how great the music was. Tony catered to the vibes of every person at our wedding. Book them. Seriously, do it. I cannot say it enough - they are the best. Tony and his team were absolutely amazing from start to finish! In my opinion, the DJ is one of the most important vendors you hire for your wedding because they set the tone for the night and keep your guests entertained - people always remember the DJ! Platinum Entertainment did not disappoint. From the very first interaction, we felt like Tony was already family. You can tell that he cared as much about us having a perfect day as we did. He and his team were so thorough leading up to the big day, helping us make decisions on how the night would flow, and on the day of they went above and beyond to make sure we had a flawless day! We had a special/unconventional request that came up in the middle of the reception and they rolled with it and made it happen! I could write a novel on how wonderful they were - bottom line is they were amazing and one of the best decisions we made was working with them! -

I cannot say enough great things about Tony! My wedding coordinator didn’t show up on our wedding day, and I didn’t even notice because Tony did EVERYTHING!! He was calm cool and collected, getting us food, cueing the entrance to the ceremony, hooking up all of the electronics, and keeping us dancing all night long! At the end of the night people were chanting for him to play more, I couldn’t have asked for a better person, professionally or otherwise. Thank you so much Tony! -

We met Tony at a friend's wedding and loved his energy so we hired him for our own (and referred him to another couple that also hired him!) Tony really cares about making your day reflect exactly what you want and he puts his whole heart into planning & execution. He loves what he does and he's great at it! Positive, full of excitement, and passionate. Tony works hard to make sure your day is exactly as you want it through as many phone calls, texts, video calls or in-person meetings that you need! He is quick to answer and is always available. Tony’s professionalism speaks for itself. He is extremely flexible, patient, and caring about his clients! Tony offers an app for your phone that allows you to connect with your guests to form playlists prior to the event. This was key for us to ensure all of our guests felt included in the planning and to ensure everyone enjoys the dance floor! I highly recommend Tony if you want the wedding of your dreams! -

Tony made our reception so special and memorable. He met with us multiple times and helped craft a music selection and vibe that was "us." He was very responsive throughout the entire process from planning all the way to the day-of, and went above and beyond to make sure that we were having a great time. A number of our family and friends raved about both the music and how great Tony was. He helped make everything from the cocktail hour to dancing, introductions and cake cutting very streamlined and not overwhelming or rushed, and worked great with all of our other vendors. We couldn't stop dancing and had so much fun at our wedding! The dance floor was packed the whole night with guests of all ages. If we had to do it over again we'd hire Tony again in a heartbeat, can't recommend him enough, 10/10! -

I can honestly say that choosing Tony to DJ our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! We had very specific requirements for our music and he happily spent so much time with us making sure we were going to have exactly what we wanted (and we did!). Also, Tony made sure to keep in contact with our wedding planner on other various details to ensure he had the whole overview of the event in case anything had to be changed he would know how to pivot his MC duties and i can't tell you how much of a stress relieving his attention to detail was. Overall fantastic experience and can't recommend him enough. -

Spectacular and created wedding magic!
DJ Tony is a very experienced and fun DJ. All of his equipment is top notch. It shows and is heard. From pre-ceremony all the through to the last dance, he is very organized and structured while remaining fun and flexible. He uses an awesome app that I could upload all songs I wanted to hear (pre-ceremony, after ceremony song, cocktail hour, first dance, parent dances, dance party time). He is very personable and catered to what we wanted. He asks all the right questions leading up to the wedding and made us very confident going into our wedding day knowing the sound and music would be professionally handled - and it was. He dresses to the nines to match the occasion and his equipment is also attractive, which makes such a difference. Our guests are still raving about him! (His cost is more than reasonable for the quality he provides and he has a great payment system.) Music was the biggest aspect for us and he delivered. Thank you DJ Tony for majorly contributing to our magnificent magical life moment!!! We love you! -

Platinum Entertainment is the best and only DJ you should consider for your wedding and special event. Our wedding was absolutely what dreams are made of and Tony was a huge part of making that happen, even while we were in a pandemic! From our very first meeting, we knew his upbeat, personable attitude was exactly what we were looking for in our DJ. Little did we know at that time that those attributes would become even more important. We went from a 200-person wedding to a 50-person wedding with social distancing and no dance floor and Tony went out of his way to make sure it was still the best day ever! During the planning process, my husband and I were able to download an app where we uploaded a few songs into each section of our night. Tony was then able to see these songs and specific versions we liked and grew our playlist from that. The app was so seamless and easy to use and Tony made our ideas come to life. Tony made it possible for all of our guests to not even realize the restrictions in place and made it the best day I could have ever imagined. I had so many guests saying he was hands down the best DJ they'd ever seen at a wedding and that's WITHOUT a dance floor?!? We also used Tony's videography services. We just previewed the final version of our wedding day and it was absolutely amazing! I'm so happy we decided to do videography as well. Platinum Entertainment was nothing short of amazing. I could go on and say many more things, but the bottom line, choose Platinum Entertainment, you will be SO happy you did. -

I was inexperienced but overly proactive for finding the right DJ for my wedding. The DJ companies in my area at the time was not responsive as I was looking almost a year before my event. And the individual DJs were overpriced without effective communication. Hence, DJ Tony; he is a great business man as the owner of his company. He called me around 1-2 weeks after I had contacted him once via e-mail. I never met Tony then but through the one-hour phone call pitch, I was sold and we signed the contract after. He got DJ position because he’s very experienced (which was very versatile from clubs and office parties to weddings, he asked critical questions about my wedding needs, and he was okay with not playing certain artist songs (as requested from my husband).
Tony, my then fiancé and I had three more in-person meetings for over an hour before my wedding date to finalize all the details. As the bride, I planned my whole wedding with a lot on my plate. And Tony was great pointing out things I had missed and helped me decide what is meaningful to me.
On the day of my wedding, Tony did several of check ins (when he arrived, after he set up, and before and during reception) on me to check if I’m okay and whether there is a change of plan (which there was).
Tony has high energy in his job and makes my wedding guest have fun. We need to get some folks moving to the dance floor but that’s because they don’t dance and were shy.
My only negative comment was he played songs I didn’t like but that’s on me as I didn’t know that song’s name was and had already given him a list of songs, genre and noise to not play. If you really hate a party song and don’t want it at your event, just make sure you communicate it with your DJ. -

Epic party in the barn
Tony was the best DJ we could've imagined and more.
We did a lot of planning remotely and never met him in person before our wedding but from the first phone call to the last minute changes we kept making, we know Tony was the guy. He showed up to the wedding with style and confidence and ran the wedding and dance party flawlessly. He is organized, enthusiastic, and can coordinate the wedding on his own or play in tandem with a day-of coordinator like at our wedding. As an example, our barn was pretty hot in the dead of summer, even with AC, but he rearranged the fans during cocktail hour to somehow cool it off before the dancing ensued. We also loved his great stage presence without being too intrusive or overbearing.
Most importantly, his music just slaps. Tony had the music bumping and the dance floor filled from our first entrance to the epic final dance of the night (The Wanted - Glad You Came). He's got a great range, playing essential (but not annoying) wedding/oldies classics and dance floor bangers, and even combined the two with some remixes. Many of our groomsmen/bridesmaids are now planning their weddings and have contacted Tony for their own wedding. If you want a memorable night filled with dancing and great music, I suggest you do the same. Thanks Tony for an incredible wedding! -

Tony is the best!
Hiring Tony as our DJ was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! He is so personable, professional, and easy to talk to. We had all of our planning sessions over the phone since we are in Texas and the wedding was in NY. We felt like we knew each other like old friends grabbing a drink at the bar by the time the wedding came around - it was so surreal that we had never met him yet!
He was such a huge help in planning the reception order of events, big songs, and ways to keep the party going. He also did all of the sound for our ceremony and cocktail hour. Everyone told us what a great time they had at the wedding and it was clear to see by the way the dance floor was filled all night! He even let me guest DJ, although I might've been a few drinks too late to really make my debut DJ moment one for the ages! I went up to ask him to make an announcement and he said "Hold on...we're going to do something really cool. Put these headphones on..." And I just trusted him to not let me look like an idiot because he was our friend! Such a great memory to add to the day.
I can't thank Tony enough for how amazing he was during the planning, the day of, and beyond with his posts and photos he's shared. I'd recommend Tony to anyone!!!! -

I have been to two weddings where Tony was the DJ, and I can say Tony provides the complete experience. He helped us put together a plan for the wedding (e.g. special dances/other desired events), and worked perfectly with our wedding planner and event coordinator. Sound Formula uses Vibo, which is a mobile app that makes selecting a soundtrack, and creating a timeline incredibly easy. Tony also used our playlist and kept all of our guests dancing for the whole night, and nobody felt excluded from the music that was played. Lastly and most importantly, Tony geniunely cares that the bride and groom enjoy their day, and he went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding was exactly what we wanted. We are truly grateful that we chose Sound Formula, and would recommend it to anyone getting married around the capital region. -

We are so lucky that Tony was available for our wedding. As people who have never been married before, my fiancé and I didn't know where to begin with planning the day. Tony was with us every step of the way and made the whole process seamless. He is so detail oriented which made us feel at ease. We had numerous calls to go over our plan of how we wanted the day to go, the music we wanted, and the vibe we wanted. Tony made it all happen. On the day of, he made sure that we both had everything we needed, that we ate/drank, and had fun. We weren't keen on doing the first dance, so he made sure it was short and sweet and encouraged others to join us. Tony kept the party going all night and even ended the night with "Pony," which prompted a lap dance session, made for a great photo/video op... ha! I can't say enough how amazing Tony was and I wish we had more events to hire him for. -

Amazing time and great experience with his Sister Danielle Mancuso who was responsible for the videography and was there and on target for every moment. Roughly 8 years ago my friendship with Tony began. When I got engaged I couldn’t think of anyone better to help us throw a huge “train wreck” of a party! The professionalism mixed with the personal touch is nothing short of perfect. He asked what we wanted in one word for a wedding... “beautiful train wreck” (yes that’s more than one). That’s what he gave us. From the violinist he found us playing my favorite childhood song to walk down the aisle, to Tony mixing 2 songs for our first dance and ending the night with a good ol’ fashion dance off to an Irish step dance....you can’t beat it! While I will always have those photos, they will always bring me back to how he made us feel that day; sensational! He gave us the light, fun filled and dance until my legs hurt party we wanted. I am beyond grateful for that. -

Tony delivered an amazing experience for our wedding! We know very little about weddings, and had no planner. Tony helped out substantially, consulting with us every step of the way. Other vendors we talked to at expos would just randomly assign a DJ to you and play what you requested online. Tony’s service and input was invaluable.
The wedding day turned out perfect! All the guests thought he came from Hollywood! The special effects were great, and he delivered a personalized touch to everything he said. We got to know him and we’re honored to make him a part of our special day. Again, avoid big companies that just sent someone random. He worked with us on all our requests, including songs in both English and Chinese, preparing everything well in advance.

Our wedding was absolutely perfect in every way. This has everything to do with our amazing catering staff and the energetic entertainment that Tony provided us. Not only was the the entertainment and music choice out of this world, but Tony is so organized and professional. He worked very well with all of the vendors so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. We didn’t need a wedding planner because our caterers worked seamlessly with Tony to organize the entire event. Everything from planning the music sets, to the actually day of, was completely stress free because of them. I am sooooooo beyond thankful that we booked Tony, and had him to celebrate with on our special day. An example of his attention to detail is he made sure I didn’t walk down the aisle without my bouquet. I repeat: I was literally about to walk down the aisle without my bouquet and veil! The process started with a phone call where he got a sense of what we liked but he really wanted a face to face before we committed. From our first sit down we knew he was the one. His attention to detail and ability to understand our style was astounding. Tony went above and beyond just playing music. We were in constant contact and met in person two more time before the event. Tony worked well with our event coordinator, catering and photographer to make sure the timeline went smoothly. He respected all of wishes and requests, The music was on point, and he never missed a beat. I would highly recommend this guy for your event.

He was absolutely amazing the weeks and months before the event he would sit down and we would have several hour meetings where he took the time to figure out what exactly we wanted and how to make that a reality. Day of he was so adaptable to changing plans and time constraints and made everything as seamless and carefree appearing as possible. He even went and got me drinks when he saw my cup was empty. When problems arose he always discussed with us and changed plans to make our dream a reality and handled it seamlessly without us having to get involved and in a professional manner. -

DJ is a critical piece of your wedding and reception being memorable I can say they were a waste of money and a huge waste of time. I really wish I could write a glowing review about Tony and Platinum Entertainment, but the experience was a complete disappointment. At every important moment, there were mishaps ruining the moment.
We had a live musician supposed to be mic’d and sound checked for the bride’s processional. It was not set up correctly and my wife walked down the aisle in silence as only people next to the ukulele could hear.
Next up was entrance music for the bridal party. I selected a list of songs directly in THEIR program from Spotify to ensure the correct song would be selected and played. I don’t know how, but they transferred it incorrectly and a random song was played for the entrance. Again, a severe lack of attention to detail.
Next was the first dance. We paid extra and ultimately ended up select them because of the options such as dancing on cloud, which I was assure was an incredible experience. For the first dance the team of 3 people sat and watched us dance instead of administering the dry ice for the dancing on clouds. They weren’t running around, they weren’t crazy, they just completely messed up. They did however catch this mid-way through the Mother Son dance, which was a weird time to administer it in terms of presentation. Last, even when it was at full force the smoke barely covered a quarter of the dance floor. So it more like dancing on a clear blue sky day than clouds. Look at the marketing brochure vs. actual photos I uploaded.
My last point issue was the whole process. Planning a wedding is tough and time-consuming. We had several meetings with him last hours where he talked on and on about how great his operation was and how special he is going to make your day. We spent hours filling out the run-of-show template in detail not to miss anything and it was all a disaster. He also outsourced the DJ to a subcontractor (we knew this ahead of time), which he said he would certify just as it was he himself who was handling the big day. When I brought up the issues that had happened, he did not back the guarantee of his quality of service at all. He again talked round and round like a used car salesman via email replying only after reaching out to him multiple times. When he did reply it was a load of BS while insinuating it was our fault and should be happy with the service.
All I can say is in hindsight he was about a grand more expensive than the other DJ’s we interviewed and there is no way they could have been worse than what was provided. I recommend saving your time, energy, and money as he will absolutely drain you for hours talking about how great he and his operation is and then absolutely deliver on nothing.
